Xerjoff More Than Words Review (Chris Maurice) + The Truth is in the Pavo DRAW

Xerjoff More Than Words review

The truth is in the Pavo. Photo, artistic direction, and digital collage by @a_nose_knows for Xerjoff More Than Words.

When it comes to looks, the animal kingdom is painfully clear on where it stands: you’re either defending, or attacking; either in hiding, or flashing a signal; either inconspicuously beige, in other words, or resplendently neon.

For us furless, songless, flightless creatures, things are different: verbalization is limited by whether or not you have a common language, and communication is stalled by everything under the sun, from culture and technology to personal abilities to read more than the words. Complicated? IT IS. For thousands of years we’ve painted our messages on cave walls, or canvas, or paper, or even ourselves to express one thing or another, only to be met by blinking onlookers who simply don’t get it (ever had a grandma puzzled by your nihilistic punk?). Using metaphors to express intrinsic truths (instead of just being our truths) is inherently human–and, yes, incredibly complicated.

In contrast, animals live their truth; and thus never need to package it. Their truth is theirs alone, and nature has it that oftentimes being unique means you also get to be the best at it. Sharks and crocodiles are killer machines, and so good at it we can’t get enough (who here hasn’t ever watched an Animal Planet special??). The octopus is good in camouflage; skunk is stinking to the gods; krill is there to multiply and feed the whales; songbirds are singing, and sloths, well,  slothing. There’s neither game, nor shame attached to living one’s truth when you’re feathered, furred, or other living fauna… and thinking of it, I’ll be the first to admit it- is liberating.

Of all the unabashedly extra, the peacock takes the cake- so much so, that even its scientific name starts with “Pavo”, the very Latin word for “peacock”- like there are no more words to define it, and not much else to say about this stridently spectacular specimen. Adding details, agreed, would be futile: peacocks are slow to fly, much the same as the next fella peacock, and not particularly tasty at it happens with their cousin pheasants; moreover, their song is shrilly and odd—particularly if heard in conjunction with their feathered crown. In Hinduism, this bird is a mount for several gods of war- and that’s about it for secret talents.

BUT OH, THE TRAIN.

What glory, what power, what natural engineering feat! There is nothing like a cascade of iridescent ocelli, glimmering as they rotate, gently leaning in a suspension of magnificence! Nothing like the violent pleasure of seeing when in front of such a glorious abundance of color! The peacock is in and of itself, beauty for beauty’s sake; the purest, gaudiest, most shameless display of visuals…and, thus, the most sincere.

Xerjoff More Than Words review

Xerjoff More Than Words Photo and digital editing by @a_nose_knows

There are very few smells where my nose, less inclined than my eyes to be assaulted with goodness, accepts excess for excess’ sake– and More than Words, composed  by perfumer  Chris Maurice for Xerjoff Join the Club Collection, is one of them. Unabashedly gleaming and intentionally loud, it abandons all metalanguage and, shamelessly resplendent, attacks the beige with a full-frontal declaration of intent.

Xerjoff More Than Words study. Photo, creative direction, and digital editing by @a_nose_knows for Xerjoff

Everything about More than Words is extra: the oud is distilled and intense; the fruit (plum, white grapes, some berries)- sweet and ripe to the brink of fermentation; floral notes are jammy and pulsate on skin like air bubbles in a scalding batch of petal preserve. Everything is measured in bucketfuls, from the sticky vanilla to the high-pressured incense and the unapologetic balsams; the result is all things at once- sweet, woody, powdery, fruity, resinous; distilled; shiny; grand; crushing; impudent; expressive…and in no need for context.

The thing to wear the days we peacock.

Official notes: amber, oud, fruit, flowers, labdanum, frankincense, ambergris, woody notes.

Other perceived notes: rose, tobacco, smoke, benzoin, wax & honey, cedar, powder, vanilla.

The fact that Dana says More Than Words is ”extra” with all the notes just being over the top
in a peacock showy kind of way makes me want to smell this one! Beautiful photos really bring this review to life! Thank you for the draw. I’m in the US.

Good review liked the metaphor of the peacock. Fruit and oud sounds great. Have not been able to try anything from this house yet would love to try this. From GA USA.

  • JerryWRivera0 says:

This article is such an interesting take on the nature of things. The idea that we may scent ourselves as peacocks show their feathers says a whole lot about our yearning as humans to connect with others is a special way, even going to the lengths of being more unhuman or animal in nature. This is such a great topic that I’d love to see explored further in an essay or perhaps an official Cafleurebon book collection. There needs to be far more literature on perfumery. As for the scent, I’ve yet to try More Than Words by Xerjoff but absolutely loved 40 Knots and Ivory Route from the same Join the Club collection.

  • The review for this fragrance sounds like a sweet, magical elixir. I really enjoyed the delicious imagery used throughout to describe its notes. I’ve sampled Xerjoff Naxos in the past and it was wonderful. This one sounds great as well. I’d love to try it. Commenting from Kentucky USA.

This sounds like a loud, elegant, and sophisticated perfume. I like the way Dana explains how the notes intermingle with each; I could almost smell this masterpiece.
    One definitely worth checking out.

Hailing from Washington State! I love how vibrant this scent is- I adore “high-pressured incense and the unapologetic balsams; the result is all things at once- sweet, woody, powdery, fruity, resinous; distilled; shiny; grand; crushing; impudent”- it must smell amazing. I was able to test Ivory Route; this house does not disappoint! Thank you.

  • I love how Dana relates the peacock to this fragrance by describing it’s gloriously colored tail to the excess of the over the top notes. Everything is extra and I’m here for it. Xerjoff is one of those houses I always wanted to try but was never able to. This sounds wonderful. I’m in the US

  • My current favorite Xerjoff is Oud Stars! This sounds decadent and sparkling, and I would love a sample! My favorite part of the essay is the comparison to a peacock and the way the perfume exhibits similarly resplendent colors. Following CaFleureBon from Seattle Washington USA.

It was described with many contrasting perceived notes. I love the sweet and dark elements along with fruity and woody notes that this particular Xerjoff has. Dana’s review of this fragrance has me wanting soo badly in sampling this thx! Thank you for the review.

  • Congrats Dana! I loved your comparison of humans to very unabashed peacocks. I think roosters and pheasants have the same quality! They know they are beautiful.

  • What an exquisite, jewellike portrait of this radiant fragrance. Wonderfully composed. Loving on Alexandria III lately, but have a decant of this. Will own a bottle soon one way or another. From GA, USA.

  • I really appreciate the different angle and using the animal world as a way to show how we have a lot to learn and then tying into peacocks and Xerjoff More Than Words. All things at once sounds amazing. I have small size Lira and Nio bottle
The math on the solve was hard

  • Interesting metaphor of the peacock. Always interested in getting my nose on Xerjoff fragrances. Excited to see how the floral notes work with the fruity notes and oud. Love from NY!

  • Peacock a little, please, show us your true neon colors, please, editaaaahhh dana sandu ! They’re smart for keeping you here. You deserve every second/cubic inch of it ! Congrats and lotta love! #bineleinvinge.

  • dana, wonderful article and review, and coongratulations on becoming Editor! Thank you to Xerjoff and Europerfumes for the generosity of the perfume draw.

This sounds like an amazing perfume, I adore these loud scents, they make a statement – the statement that I so often love to make.

The peacock is a magnificent, magical creature, and dana did a wonderful job representing the aura of this bird. Her description of the perfume makes it palpable, luscious, and insanely desirable.

Sadly, the only Xerjoff that I’ve tried is XJ 1861 Naxos, which I love and is on my to-buy list.

    I’m in Massachusetts.

  • I really enjoyed how More Than Words was expressed as a peacock. I havent tried this scent but it sounds glorious
Loud and proud and a bit of everything all at once but it works. I actually have yet to have the good fortune of trying a Xerjoff but would so love to. I live in CT USA and greatly appreciate this generous draw!

  • I want a scent that “attacks the beige..with a full-frontal declaration of intent.” What a fun review and great choice for Oscar watching, Dana!

  • My favorite is Lira. I lOved Dana’s review about the peacocks. We had some wild ones in our yard In Florida. They would get on the roof and shrill, sounding like women’s crying. USA

  • Hello from Florida USA.
I found very interesting Dana’s review and I love how she amazingly put in to words story about the Peacock as a bird and then “Pavo”-creation of perfumer: maestro Chris Maurice, new sofisticated, ” unapologetic balsam”, incredible magical Elexsir in a beautiful bottle.
Thank you Dana Sandu for this review and congratulations
I was lucky enough to own Xerjoff “Lira”, one of my favorite gourmand fragrance ❣️

  • Love the peacock! Sounds like More Than Words is a fantastic composition as is that magnificent bird. I’ve tried Richwood and love it. Thanks for another great article and generous draw! Mich USA

  • I enjoyed Dana’s lovely review, full of vivid imagery and a great introduction to ‘More than words’. I love the vanilla, balsamic and oud notes and am very excited to try this one. My favorite Xerjoff is Naxos. I live in TX, USA. Thanks

  • patrick_348 says:

I enjoyed dana’s comparing the fragrance to a peacock. She makes it sound big in effect. I am curious to smell it and hope that that bigness can be tamed with judicious caution not to overspray. I dont know any Xerjoff perfumes, but I have seen the brand name a lot. I am in the US.

  • Congratulations, Dana on your promition to Cafleurbon Editor! You deserve this very much! ♥ ️
About the review, it is wonderful, as usual. I didn’t expect any less.
    More Than Words is PERFECTION!
I find it spectacular, I adore it to the bones, it is the only perfume that causes me butterflies in the stomach, the perfect excess, indeed. I would be the happiest woman alive if I were the lucky winner of this treasure! Thank you for this opportunity!

  • When I think of using animals to describe a perfume, the brand Zoologist comes to mind. That being said, dana did a fantastic job here using the peacock to describe More Than Words, and I am all for indulging in excess for excess’ sake! My favorite Xerjoff perfume is Naxos, perfect for the current weather here. Regards from Boston USA.

  • I have read that More Than Words is extremely bright, powerful, and longevity and sillage for days. Very good comparison to the peacock. I have only had the recent opportunity to sample Ivory Route from this collection, and it is really good. Full bottle worthy to me. It reminds of a designer scent, that I haven’t been able to place my finger on yet. I would love to try this one. Thank you for the draw! US.

  • I enjoyed how you weaved the animal kingdom with this scent. As mentioned scent is also very important in the animal kingdom. Scents helps animals (and us in turn) recognize the world. From predators to prey to mates or kin, scent elicits something primal. I’m not familiar with the Xerjoff house

  • I have never tried Xerjoff. More Than Words sounds wonderful. Love oud, fruity and something resinous. IL, USA

  • I love Xerjoff. I have only tried the deeper ones and love More Than Words, Richwood, Ivory Route, and 40 Knots.

I love the last 2 paragraphs of the article (especially the last) because it is TRUE. I have a tiny tester that I am using now. I LOVE it. It would be amazing to have a full bottle. Thank you!

  • “The thing to wear for beauty’s sake”—there i shortcut it. it does sound extra/loud, yet the notes list, official & perceived, is not extensive. no fav xerjoff fragrance yet i’m a afraid

  • Tanase Lacramioara says:

I always wait with my soul in my mouth, Dana’s wonderful stories about perfumes.
Each scent she describes, makes you truly live at high intensity. From Xerjoff I only know Naxos, is fabulous.

  • Dana says Xerjoff More Than Words is all about excessiveness, from oud to its fruity notes, keeping in line with the name of the perfume. Dana likes it when she enjoys something and there is too much of it in a perfume. The one I like from Xerjoff is Xerjoff Homme. I am in US

  • Dana- your writing is a living peacock of imagery and all the feelings and memories it generates!! Congrats on your promotion. Magical review. I can’t imagine the perfume could sock a punch as strong as your human word descriptions but would love to find out! I have not yet smelled enough Xerjoff to have a fave but perhaps this is the one. I live in CT, USA.

  • Nicoleta.Tomsa says:

Congrats on your promotion, Dana! Beautiful review, as always! I’ve had the chorus to “shine on, you crazy diamond” all morning playing in my mind after reading your words. Sending love from back home 🙂

  • The history, and the story behind More Than Words was captivating.
Xerjoff sure are both high end, and at the same time up to date brand. I find it important to be well in touch with the modern day era , virtual reality presentations is not something you can see every day. I do remember Sebastian said it in one of his videos on YouTube.
You don’t need aggressive fragrances all the time.
For close encounters, or a walk in the park with my 4yo niece , or at work with customers More Than Words would work on all occasions. Multifaceted fragrance I’d love to win.
For clubbing I have Lira , my favorite Xerjoff .
    Fantastic draw. In USA

  • Enjoyable review as usual by Dana. I just love her passion for high quality fragrances . More Than Words is gorgeous indeed.
Xerjoff i find to be one of the best niche brands ever created. Of course I can’t say i love all they got , but undoubtedly blended well colognes, variety is pretty big, so every fragrance lover should be able to find pleasing to his taste fragrance. At this moment I own 6 Xerjoff bottles . Nio and Kobe I had in the past . My favorite Xerjoff is Mamluk . Thank you. Cafleurebon, Dana , Xerjoff and Europerfumes I already follow on Instagram.

  • ThatMulattoDude says:

Never gotten my nose on any Xerjoff fragrance but AC’s review of this fragrance really has me interested. This is 1 of the only 2 fragrances he likes from this house. I enjoyed the write-up on this cite as well. I wouldn’t mind if this fragrance had a similar effect on my wife as the peacock plumage does on female peacocks.

  • I found it interesting that Dana mentioned the fragrance being measured in bucketfuls. I’ve read some other reviews about this amazing fragrance and others also say one spray can be enough. I think it shows the quality of the fragrance and Xerjoff. Thankful for the opportunity! USA

  • I love that she said everything is so extra. While i’ve never smelled this fragrance, I’ve heard it is incredibly intense and I would love to experience it! Comparing to a peacock is perfect from what I’ve heard! I am in Pennsylvania!

  • When I think about Xerjoff pictures of Mefisto always comes to mind. Being a barber my love for aromatic and citrusy fragrances comes naturally. Lavender is prominent, but don’t push it into mature territory. Super classy, yet not overly aggressive fragrance, exactly what I expect from More than Words, yet for a different time period. Mefisto is more dressed up day time occasions scent, but More Than Words with its sweet, floral jammy notes and sticky vanilla to me is night time again dressed up fragrance.
Oh’ I also want to try the new Mefisto version called Gentiluomo, and the two coffee ones. Such a nice draw, I’m so pumped. Thank you , and congrats to Dana for the promotion 🙂

What a likeness, peacock and perfume and what perfume, xerjoff …. The peacock when displaying its beautiful plumage is filled with dozens of eyes, from Dana’s description I think the perfume a pleasant multitude of aromas that envelop you. Congratulations on the evolution of Dana! EU Romania

  • I found interesting in Dana’s article is explaining the notes of Xerjoff More than words as Everything is extra and intense. My favorite scent from this line is Lira. ” skin like air bubbles in a scalding batch of petal preserve” The thing to wear the days we peacock! USA, California

  • redwheelbarrow says:

I love the comparison to a peacock. I’m actually wearing a sample of MTW today and this comparison is so good! I think of this fragrance as a rainbow with all of the beautiful components blending loudly and so beautifully together. It’s hard to choose a favorite Xerjoff but of the JTC line, MTW and Ivory Route are my favorites. I hope I’m lucky enough to win a bottle! 🙂 Thank you for this review and draw. I’m in the US.

  • Wow, this review is amazing! This is my first time reading a review by Dana and it is fantastic. The fragrance itself sounds next level. I love the house of Xerjoff, but have never looked into More Than Words. The fragrance sounds very complete, complex, and vibrant. This review makes me want to sample this fragrance and I will definitely have to get my nose on it sometime soon!

  • Interesting combination of different, contrasting notes and a beautiful inspiration. I still haven’t tried any of the line’s fragrances but hope to at some point. In the USA.

  • You know the peacock is a beautiful fowl in all its colorful glory but I love the albino peacock its lack of color is also quite beautiful. More Than Words sounds beautiful like the peacock in its full color! My favorite Xerjoff perfume is 1861 Naxos. Texas, USA

  • I started imaging the fragrance as I kept going down the journey of reading Dana’s review and by the end of it wanting to smell a bucketful of aromas of this fragrance. The analogy with the peacock and his characteristics are so beautifully detailed out. Congratulation on being the editor and keep up the good work, I’m relatively new and looking forward to reading more on Cafleurbon. A reader from Los Angeles, CA.

  • Too bad it is only USA! But, nevertheless, the idea that we are furless, songless, flightless creatures, things made me realise how small we are! And again, Dana, you are wowmazing!

  • Shamrock1313 says:

Very nice review by Dana. I’m a fan of Xerjoff and More Than Words is a beautiful fragrance.
    Peacock fits it perfectly.
    Pennsylvania USA

  • More Than Words sounds perfect for me. I love the peacock as an illustration of something being over the top. The notes are the ones I always gravitate to. I don’t have a favorite Xeroff, but this just might be the one. Thank you Danu and congratulations. Thank you also for the generous draw. I’m in the USA.

  • Everything is measured in bucketfuls this sounds like the smell of excess, this fragrance sounds like BDE and I would be very interested in smelling it. My favorite Xerjoff is JTC 400. I’m in TN USA.

  • This excellent review recalled to my mind the book “The Evolution of Beauty: How Darwin’s Forgotten Theory of Mate Choice Shapes the Animal World – and Us”, which goes into much detail on how birds, with the very intricate patterns on their feathers, and complicated dance routines, do not indulge in such behaviors just for the traditionally accepted reasons of “evolutionary success” but this “beauty happens” for its own reasons, and may not lead to “perfect” adaptive choices. It is similar to what Dana describes as “animals liv(ing) their truth”, though the book goes into much more details as to why. Seems that Xerjoff’s “More Than Words” perfume, in its unusualness and big attitude, does something similar for (at least some) humans. Since I have never tried it, I am curious indeed. Thanks for the review and the drawing. (Writing from Texas USA).

  • Exquisite review, Dana, as always!
You becoming an editor for Cafleurebon is no surprise, but, of course, congratulations!
I am not eligible for the draw, but I’ll definitely try More than words

  • All, I really appreciate your feedback, and I thank you for your wishes.
Also (needless to say, but still) I am HAPPY to see how many people relate to our pleasure to peacock every once in a while 🙂
    Keep being resplendent,

  • Peacocks are my absolute favorite! I collect all things peacock, so of course all the comparisons between a peacock and Xerjoffs’ More Than Words was my favorite part of the review (plus the gorgeous pictures.) I also loved the part about animals owning their truth and how liberating that would be. I have only had the chance to try 1 Xerjoff and that was Lira, I love it, so that would be my favorite! There are at least 10 more on my “to buy” list, but this one just peaked my interest so much it has jumped to the top and I would be absolutely tickled pink to win! Thank you, I am in the US

  • “Everything is measured in bucketfuls”.
I have no fave from the house as I haven’t tried any. US

  • I’m in the US and have yet to try Xerjoff but I’ve been curious about them for a while now. This review makes More Than Words sound so extravagant and relating it to peacocks sounds especially interesting. Oftentimes when it comes to perfumes I’m most interested in how I feel about it rather than how it appears to other people, and I feel like peacocks are inherently a good example of that. Definitely will keep this on my radar next time I’m looking for samples to try.

The fact that Dana says More Than Words is ”extra” with all the notes just being over the top in a peacock showy kind of way makes me want to smell this one!

I am so excited to smell the amazing creation by the house and would be very happy to have it in my collection!

She chose some really beautiful photos that really bring this review to life!

Thank you Xerjoff and Europerfumes for the wonderful draw.

    I am from USA!

  • I really enjoyed Dana’s review tying in the fragrance name with the peacock’s show-rather-than-tellism. It makes me feel this is a fragrance I need to have, I imagine it’s bold and unique.
My favorite Xerjoff is Zefiro, certainly excited to try this one.

  • Everything is measured in “bucketfuls”. Yes!
The notes sounds wonderful and I’d love bucketloads of those in my fragrance! USA

  • Bryant Worley says:

I always like Dana’s reviews, and this wasn’t any different. I really appreciated the way (in my opinion) she the individuality, uniqueness and excess of things. And then the fragrance – the way she pointed out its excess. I haven’t worn More than Words in about a year, so hopefully I can get this win. I’ve only tried 3 Xerjoff’s, and from memory, I would have to say that Niovwas my favorite.

  • As I’m not based in the USA I’m not eligible for the draw, so…

Regarding More Than Words and the review; if the oud is distilled and intense then it’s definitely not for me. I can’t stand oud. I have one fragrance that lists oud amongst the notes, but it must be used very delicately as its rarely commented on by reviewers.

Regarding Xerjoff, I initially ignored them as from my first encounters with the brand they seemed to be making luxury copies of designer fragrances. More recently I’ve warmed to them and my current favourite is Muse (formerly marketed as a Sospiro fragrance). It’s a little feminine with the fruity, floral notes, but this is the 21st century, so experiment.

  • bigscoundrel says:

Congrats dana! More Than Words sounds very bold and almost brash based upon your description of how it is an assault on the beige. The perceived notes of rose, tobacco, honey, and vanilla means I’m probably going to love this one. My favorite Xerjoff is Renaissance. New Jersey, USA.

  • More than Words reminds me of the smell of plum and grape crumble tart , made with real rose water. I’m a Pastry Chef, and I can tell , I’ve smelled it before.
Just like Dana I can smell roses in More than Words.
The best Xerjoff is Italica, whiteout any doubts! Exclusive to Harvey Nichols , and they do not want to ship it to US . On top of all it’s not even available at xerjoffuniverse , which was a shock to me.
Smells very, and I mean very similar to a traditional Toffee Almond Cake with spelt flour, unsweetened cocoa powder , almonds , buttermilk , strong brewed coffee, dark rum , bittersweet chocolate , salt. It’s a traditional Italian cake. I’m pretty sure the cake was the inspiration behind Italica. One of the best realistically smelling gourmands , and top 3 gourmands in my collection, and I have over 80.
It’s really hard for me to get it , because I had to find someone to get it for me in UK , and bring it to the States.
    Sensation fragrance.
Appreciate the review, and the giveaway campaign. Congratulations to Dana of course.

  • I find Xerjoff to be one the top 5 brands of high end perfumery. One of my the first niche purchases was Lira early 2012… early March I think.
Doesn’t matter is you like safe , daring or sweet, Xerjoff portfolio is big , and you’re covered .
More than Words attracts me with it’s sweet, woody, powdery, fruity facets and the right amount of vanilla.
As I said Lira was my first Xerjoff purchase, and I still love it, but it’s not my favorite one, not anymore, Cruz del Sur II is , followed by Golden Dallah and then comes Lira.
    Wonderful giveaway.

Dana, great review of Xerjoff More Than Words. Peacocks are such majestic animals with their unique and bold colors and feathers. I like how Dana ties Xerjoff More Than Words as the fragrance to wear when we Peacock. A bold fruity and floral oud transitioning to a resinous vanilla. My favorite Xerjoff is Naxos. I am from the USA.

  • Wow Xerjoff giveaway. I have such respect for the brand.
I’m really vain, and wearing Xerjoff is a special experience . I feel untouchable like Eliot Ness .
The two in my possession are Lira and
    Opera . Love them equally.
More Than Words I can relate to because of how seductive and opulent it is.

  • Almost all Xerjoff fragrances are multifaceted , and More than Words is no exception. Vanilla, incense, resins, rose undoubtedly a stunner . I have to check it out.
Thank you Dana for your take on More than Words, such a pleasure to read.
Proud of owning Naxos 1861. Generous giveaway, thank you. USA

  • Excellent review by Dana and I loved her use of the peacock in describing this fragrance! The accompanying photos were spot on. This fragrance sounds amazing and not like anything that I currently own. My favorite part is: “Everything about More than Words is extra: the oud is distilled and intense; the fruit (plum, white grapes, some berries)- sweet and ripe to the brink of fermentation; floral notes are jammy and pulsate on skin like air bubbles in a scalding batch of petal preserve. ” Thanks for the generous giveaway and I live in the US!

First and foremost… congrats Dana on becoming an editor! That is amazing and rightfully deserved! I am at a loss for words for More Than Words! I have had this fragrance on my want list for quite some time now. Dana has done such a great job with translating this fragrance in to “More Than Words”…. she has painted us a picture of what More Than Words smells like and it has made me lust for it even more. I have never even smelled it but after reading many rave reviews and many trusted reviewers saying how lovely of a fragrance it is, I have just had a thing for it for a while now, and again, never even smelled it. In fact, I have yet to smell any Xerjoff fragrance. That will change in the future, but at the moment, I’ve not had the pleasure! Thank you Dana, for bringing More Than Words to us in a beautiful write-up and thank you for putting it in “More Than Words’….. oh, what a joy it was to see this fragrance reviewed by you. The visuals that went along with it were stunning, as always! Congratulations again on becoming editor! Thank you to Xerjoff and Europerfumes for this super generous and amazing opportunity to win a phenomenal scent! Commenting from Delaware, US. Good luck to all and I hope everyone enjoys the rest of their evening!

  • Love the peacock art. I love a jammy fragrance. I have smelled this and it is good, so why not try to win a bottle. My favorites of this line are Lira, Dolce Amalfi, Bouquet Ideal (in other words I love the Casamorati line). Thanks Danu for the great read. USA.

  • Beautiful review, Dana!!!
I have tested this perfume 2 times and felt in love- deep woody(oud)- rose combination with monster perfomance and longevity.

  • This fragrance has been on my wish list for months now! I love those fruity, jammy notes! I’m new to the Xerjoff line. The only one I own at the moment is Golden Dallah.

    Congratulations to you, Dana!

    I live in the USA.

  • Thank-You Dana and congrats on your editor promotion well deserved. Yes the peacock is beautiful I stayed at a resort with many resident peacocks I loved hearing them in the morning and watching feeding them during the day. It’s hard to choose a fav I’ve not tried them all but Mamluk and 1888 are two. This sounds like a fragrance right up my alley. Thanks to europerfumes and Xerjoff I’d love to try this one for sure. • A fine appraisal, Dana captures the vibes of More than words perfectly with this piece.
My favourite part is that she also captured her reflection in the shiny, Xerjoff cap, and it looks like the peacock was posing for the photo, as one might imagine they would…being a peacock and all. 🙂
