WE LOVE THIS STORE: Parfums de Marly Beverly Hills + Althaïr Giveaway

Parfums de Marly Beverly Hills Boutique 9540 Brighton Way

Earlier last year, I got word that Parfums de Marly Beverly Hills would be the second boutique in the United States. That was all I needed to know. A trip to the West Coast was in order. With French in my blood (mother’s side) and a lifelong equestrian, Parfums de Marly has held a spot in my olfactory heart. Established in 2009 by Julien Sprecher, the house takes inspiration from “Château de Marly”, the residence of King Louis XV, whose Royal Court became known as “la cour parfumée” – ‘The Perfumed Court’. The logo bears the image of the chateau, the year of the restoration, 1743. and two stallions representing the elegance and beauty of the brand. The house, drawing inspiration from the rich equestrian culture of France celebrates this connection in every fragrance which is named after different horse breeds.

The adage from the 1940 Thomas Wolfe novel, states, “You can never go home again.” Wrong. You can! Beverly Hills, CA., my hometown, is well known for its celebrities and high-end luxury retail stores, of which the fragrance retail sector is well represented. And contrary to popular belief, you can walk in LA or at least Beverly Hills. Just a short distance from one another are Henry Jacques, Beverly Hills Perfumery, Diptyque North Beverly, Sephora, Creed Boutique Beverly Hills, department stores Neiman Marcus, and Saks Fifth Avenue (moving this Spring into the departed Barney’s location), and as of August 2023, a new Parfums de Marly Beverly Hills Boutique. Situated on chic Brighton Way (steps away from prestigious Rodeo Drive), which gives off an intimate feel like Bond Street in London, the gorgeous two-story, 175-square-meter boutique, fashioned in the brand’s new retail image (similar to their London and Dubai boutiques) has that elegant style and colors designed by Hubert de Malherbe. Part present-day Parisian penthouse crossed with an 18th-century French chateau. A slice of Parisian elegance.

Anoush Grigorian, Store Director

Anoush Grigorian is the store director of Parfums de Marly Beverly Hills

It took until early December before I was able to arrange a trip to the Left Coast. I reached out to Yvan Jacqueline, who is the President-Americas Fine Fragrance Distribution/ Parfums de Marly- Initio Parfums Privés, and he made an introduction for me to meet up with Anoush Grigorian, Store Director of the Beverly Hills boutique. Arriving Saturday, December 16th, 2023 right before Christmas, I was welcomed into the house’s new vision of the world of French luxury.

Parfums de Marly Boutique Beverly

Parfums de Marly Beverly Hills Boutique Fragrance Table

Once you have entered the focus is on the central Fragrant Table with over thirty scents inviting exploration into the Houses’ noble, and indomitable olfactory style. You are free to engage the scents undisturbed if you like or ask the staff for suggestions. If you want to engage further there are a few alternative areas on the main floor to sit to have a consultation and have your fragrant selections evaluated in a relaxed manner. For those who seek privacy, there is a dedicated private room in the back just for that.

The Olfactorium Station Parfums de Marly Beverly Hills

Parfums De Marly Beverly Hills Olfactorium Station

The Olfactorium Station is a recent development that offers a semi-bespoke experience conceived around symbolic ingredients such as the Damascene rose and precious woods where one can partake in the artisanship of the House. It’s a great way to smell the brand’s  perfumes sans the packaging or labels.

Parfums de Marly Beverly Hills Second Floor Champagne Bar

Parfums de Marly Beverly Hills Second Floor Champagne Bar

A well-appointed staircase leads up to the second floor to a very open and tastefully appointed sunlit room that is set up like a salon. The space is dedicated to hosting private events and masterclasses. On Saturday, Anoush was leading an engaging masterclass with a room full of knowledgeable fragrant lovers. I was fortunate to observe the full extent of the experience. Upon the conclusion, I spent a few moments in a passionate discussion of the brand with a few of the attendees. A champagne bar set up discreetly in the back is a classy touch.

Anoush Grigorian, Store Director of Parfums de Marly Beverly Hills leading a masterclass on the second floor

Before departing I had a few questions for Anoush. I inquired how often these events take place and how many can be hosted. Anoush stated that during the holiday season, they have scheduled one a week but generally it would be about once a month after that. How many can the room accommodate? The space is designed to host ten to twenty fragrant lovers comfortably. I asked about the breakdown of the store’s demographics. She told me that as of now, it’s about 30 percent tourists and 70 percent locals. What scents are the most popular? While the boutique has only been open a little less than six months some favorites have emerged.

I just recently got my nose on Altair and loved it. PDM is one of my favorite houses. Would love to visit the store someday when I’m visiting California from Oklahoma.

  • I loved hearing about the private consultation. I would love to hear about the questions you would be asked and what would factors would be considered that maybe I haven’t even thought about. I live in the US. Thank you for the giveaway.

  • It’s like a candy store for fragrance lovers! The different sections and focus points make it a destination, not just a nice store. I’d love to visit.

  • Ramses Perez says:

This is a very modern and chic looking store in the heart of Beverly Hills. It also looks very cozy and welcoming. I love the idea that you can smell and experience the notes by themselves without needing to try it from the bottle, it makes for a more private and engaging event. I’d agree with the compilation of the bestsellers although I’m shocked not to see a Layton or Carlisle, then again, this store it’s more on a warmer climate. If I am ever in the LA area, I’d be sure to visit it. Cheers from NJ, USA.

  • PerfumesforLife says:

I enjoyed Hernando’s review of the store. The pics are great. I like the cozy feel of the store and the 2nd floor salon. such a beauty. I enjoy PDM and it’s one of my favorite brands.

I would love to try Althair. USA

  • I love stats.
Getting to see what scents are most popular is an interesting tidbit. It makes me wonder what are the most popular ones by state? Down the rabbit hole I go!

  • What a lovely boutique! Thank you so much for sharing your experience, Hernando. I would love to visit this store and have little sniffing party. It was interesting to see their best-sellers. It’s no surprise to see Haltane and Delina on there. I have heard great things about Althair, but have yet to try it. I love vanillas, but most of the ones I have are quite heavy (looking at you Lune Feline), but Althair sounds like it would deliver the cozy components without wearing you down. Best of luck to everyone. I live in NC, USA.

  • I loved how it felt like I got the VIP tour & a glass of champagne along with Hernando from his descriptions. Now I’m trying to think how I can put together a trip! Thanks for the opportunity. In the US.

  • Shaun Ventulan says:

I have had a similar experience with Hernando during my first visit last month. Although mine was 30 minutes before closing, I was met with great service and was able to explore their fragrances without pressure. I like how he mentioned the modern French Château aesthetic as it is very evident in the boutique. I also got the same vibe. I also appreciate Hernando mentioning the top sellers. I’m a bit stunned how Layton did not end up on that list – this is my signature scent. I sampled Haltane and Althaïr which I both need in my collection. I already have my eyes on Godolphin, which will be my next purchase. Thank you for the accurate review of the boutique! We share a similar experience.

  • The concept of offering a semi-bespoke experience conceived around symbolic ingredients such as the Damascene rose and precious woods at The Olfactorium Station that customers could experience sounds nice. Also the second floor set up like a salon and being able to host 10 to 20 fragrant lovers comfortably with a champagne bar set up discreetly in the back is a a nice touch. Thank you for the opportunity. New York, USA.

  • Love getting an inside view into these places/events. I’ve got to say that the Olfactorium Station definitely caught my eye and is quite different from what I’ve seen in other fragrance house boutiques/locations. Very engaging place that I’d love to go just to experience, and based on the pictures, looks almost homely (the second floor especially). got my hands on a sample of Althair and it is by far one of the best vanilla fragrances I’ve smelt in a while and is so incredible in cold weather when I went exploring NYC,

  • The photos of the store are very chic.
Fascinating to learn how Hernando relates PdM with him, half French (from his mother side), and lifelong equestrian,

I was able to try Althair and it’s superb.
I hope I can win this giveaway. I will be a happy camper.

I love this boutique. I was able to check it out before the holidays and actually got to meet Yvan Jacqueline. Yvan was super friendly and engaging, we talked for a few about fragrances and that’s the day I smelled Althair for the first time. One word…Amazing!

Hernando was on point with the description and the pics capture the vibe! I would love to have this beautiful fragrance as part of my small yet humble collection.

  • WOW! the store looks so good. Hernando has done full justice to the description of the store. I am amazed how they even have private spaces for people to seek consultation. They areone of my favorite brands as well. If I get a chance I am definitely visiting the store, especially for the scent masterclass.

  • It is great how much they focus on building strong relationships with their customers instead of quick sales. They are also doing a great job of introducing neighboring communities to the world of perfumes by masterclasses.
Thanks a lot for the draw. I am in the US.

  • Thebluelotus says:

I’d love to go to store – I’ve never been in a perfume boutique before with such eclectic selection. The boutique itself looks lovely. Thanks for the fantastic draw. Althair has been on my wishlist for far too long now, so it would be fun if I win.
    I’m in the US.

  • What a nice, comfortable store. Hernando very accurately described how its elegant in a very Parisian manner.
Central fragrant table is another addition which I love, since you can freely explore the house at your own pace.I’d love to visit it if I am ever in LA.

  • This place sounds like a dream. It is always great to experience these famous niche houses in a more social setting. I certainly agree with your top 5 list, Delina is my personal favorite too. LA

  • sourbergamot says:

Visitors being able to free to engage the scents undisturbed is what I adore the most in any perfume store because sometimes its really intimidating when store employees push you to try/buy certain fragrances.
Thanks for giving us a sneak peek of Parfums de Marly Beverly Hills.

  • Wow I can’t believe I live so close to this store and haven’t yet been! It sounds fantastic. Thank you for letting us know about it. Loved the no-pressure sales atmosphere you described. I would like to try their Valaya and Darci, so it would be cool if they carried those. I’m a big fan of gourmands so thanks for the opportunity to win Althaïr.

  • Ooh I love that they are doing classes on fragrance! That’s a wonderful addition. And the store sounds like it has a place for everyone’s comfort level. I have yet to try Althair so what an absolute treat if I won! Thank you for the opportunity. In California.

  • MysticalArugula says:

Wow I lived in LA previously and never knew I had a great fragrance store so close to me. The inside looks impeccable and it’s very neat.
The store itself just looks so cozy and welcoming and good work Hernando, you seem to have enjoyed your visit. Best of luck to everyone.

  • I wish they were around when I was still living in LA I’m still relatively new’ish to this particular house and so far the ones I’ve tried are Layton, Herod, Pegasus. Real loved the overall feel of the store, pictures are good too.
Those masterclass sound amazing for a fragrance enthusiast.
    I’m in the US.

  • ianbradleyandrews says:

The masterclass sounds really cool. I would love to go to something like this. Also the champagne bar. Wow. I’d love to win and live in Indiana.

  • This is the kind of store I’d want to do my shopping from. So neat and cozy. I am definitely stopping by this place next time I am in LA.
Being a fan of gourmands, especially vanilla notes, this perfume will be such a nice addition for winter season. Thanks for the opportunity.

  • fragtrail909 says:

Store Director Anoush seems so hospitable to the customers who visit the store. It’s always so exciting for me when I am visiting these niche fragrance boutiques. I really like the selection at the store ( from what’s visible through the pictures) Good job Hernando.
Whenever next I am back to CA and I will visit the store.

  • I’d love to visit. My list of favs would be a bit different starting with Delina La rosee but would certainly include Oriana. Althair has been on my radar since it dropped, but I haven’t gotten a chance to try it out yet. I hear it is right up my scent alley. In maryland.

  • Hernando’s visit was very great to read and it sounded like he had a great experience. I especially looked the part where he explained about the events taking place especially the masterclass. I always appreciate the opportunity. Thanks CafleureBon and Fine Fragrances Distribution.

  • ScentNScent says:

I would love to visit their Beverly Hills store next time I am in LA. What I learnt from Hernando’s description is the personalized attention they give to their visitors and potential buyers is an A+. I love the design, presentation and I can tell by looking at them that that is a beautiful place where one will enjoy the whole perfume tour experience. Thanks Hernando for the description of the place.

  • whispering moonlight says:

I love the store front and the perfume slabs in the store, the central table with all their lineup. I am a lover of vanilla heavy fragrances, cant wait to try this one, having heard so many good things about it. Cheers from NYC

  • Odor Aeternitatis says:

I am amazed how Layton didnt make to their top 5 sellers given how popular it is in the community. I’v been eying on Althaïr since it was released, and now is the chance to finally try it (only if I am lucky enough to win). The concept of holding events, masterclass in the store is very innovative and much helpful to a lot of people who would want to learn more. In the US……

  • Perpetual collector says:

Hernando, what a delightful outing! This store is a prime example of the kind of places I love to visit. Great read, and I hope readers and frag enthusiasts in this area of LA check out the store.

  • As a big fan of Parfums de Marly frags
Haltane is for sure on my top 5 as well as Layton and Herod. I thought it was interesting that 70 percent of the clients were local. The photos were amazing and I hope to go to Parfums de Marly Beverly Hills when I visit my brother next month who lives not that far away in California.
Thank you Hernando for a great review
    USA

  • While Hernando provided a nice piece about the Beverly Hills boutique, I enjoyed learning about origins of the brand name, the the “inspiration from ‘Château de Marly.'” I not very familiar with the brand, other than knowing that it is highly regarded. I’m actually curious, now, why Julien Sprecher chose this direction in naming the brand and the equestrian ties. Is it simply because Louis XV’s Court was known as “la cour parfumée,”or is there something more? (New York).

  • The boutique is gorgeous and I’m not the least bit surprised that Delina is the number 1 seller. I have it along with the Exclusif one and adore it.
Althair sounds so good – I love all those spice notes with that ambroxan and wood notes in the drydown. Would love to add this to my growing PdM collection of perfumes!
    I live in Pennsylvania.

  • I liked getting to see the interior of the store, especially the upper portion. Very cool design.

  • I am a fan of PMD! I recently received a sample of Valaya and Althair. They are amazing!!! Where I live there isn’t a PMD Boutique and the one in Beverly Hills is a dream!!! So luxurious and beautiful!!!! Maybe some day I will have the chance to visit and experience it all!!! I would love to own a bottle of Althair!!!
    I’m from Massachusetts, US.

  • I love the photos and the descriptions. I can visualize myself being there feeling like a kid in a candy store, sniffing every fragrances. I can see myself walking up the stairs to the second floor discussing my favorite brands with other fragrance lovers. I’d love to visit one day.

Whenever I wear PDM perfumes (ie. Valaya, Cassili, Delina La Rosee), I get compliments and these three beauties are head turners. I feel like the most beautiful person in the world when wear PDM perfumes. I heard many positive reviews on Althaïr and I’m this is another compliment magnetic.

    From WA, USA

  • I love when you can go to a boutique and receive an experience and not just salespeople trying to make a commission. I loved the photos, it looks extremely nice.

    Indiana USA

  • The best thing was a private consultation area. That’s an excellent personal touch and experience. I live in NYC USA.

  • I love the concept of the Olfactorium Station. The opportunity to have a bespoke experience with such iconic notes as damascene rose and precious woods from PdM must be an outstanding experience. I love Delina. I’m in MD, USA

  • When I’m walking into a new fragrance boutique i always feel like a kid in a candy store 🙂 Hernando felt the same way about his visit to the new Parfums de Marly boutique in Beverly Hills.
Never attended Parfums de Marly masterclass before , but I visited 4 out of 6 of the brand boutiques , the ones in New York, London, Dubai and the smaller one in Paris. I presume all i designed by Hubert Malherbe because aesthetics are quite similar, similar rhomboid pattern wooden floors, white walls and ceilings, black tables, chandeliers mirrors over a fireplace and places to rest and/try fragrance.
I enjoyed the whole experience Hernando shared, and especially the masterclass with Anoush Grigorian, and how she shared Beverly Hills boutique current best sellers . Delina, Pegasus and Althaïr being top sellers is something I expected, but Haltane and Valaya i was not.
If I have to rate my favorite Parfums de Marly fragrances :
    1. Habdan , one of my top 5 fragrances ever
    2. Oajan
    3. Herod / Althaïr
All profiles I already follow, including Hamid Merati Kashani two Instagram profiles , @hamidhmk and @hamidmeratikashani , and @yvanjacqueline , @waltherp99bg
    Thanks a lot
    USA

  • If I have to summarize the amount of pleasing to the eyes, and mind Parfums de Marly , and the new boutique fragrance information I’ll start with what Hernando Courtright said about the Olfactorium Station semi bespoke experience in the private room, where Parfums de Marly customers can smell all the single ingredients going into the brand’s perfumes. The masterclass with the Armenian lady was a special experience I’m sure, hopefully one day I’ll be able to join such Parfums de Marly event myself.
I’ll be happy to win Althair because I’ve sampled the fragrance, refined sweet and musky amber , centered around delicious bourbon vanilla ,resins, different spices and positive emotions.I also like the contrast between the orange bottle , and the silver cap .
Oajan is my favorite Parfums de Marly , but Delina Exclusif is breathing in Oajan neck all the time. Both are staples for me.
    Thanks for the draw
    USA

  • Sounds like Hernando got to have an olfactory adventure and I’m totally jealous! I would love to be able to experience this candy land of smells and pick out something for myself. Usa

  • Hernando Courtright definitely enjoyed his trip to California, and the whole Parfums de Marly atmosphere , from fragrances to interior design, to the masterclass he attended. Not in US but I’ve been to such events during the years of my life living in Spain. I had the pleasure of visiting similar events at Carner Barcelona, Daniel Josier and also Ramon Monegal Carrer de Calvet Barcelona boutique. It’s a satisfying experience since you often inside information not available to the general public.
I approach work and life in a similar manner as Hernando Courtright, I really like how he didn’t wanted to rush, and took his time to rejoice the visit at the boutique to the Parfums de Marly levels of expectations.
Being a vain man compliments are really important to me. Althair is elegant fragrance done right, and for sure will get me unsolicited compliments , while smelling amazing.
Oajan is my favorite Parfums de Marly, it’s full, balsamic sweet compliment getter.
    Overly exciting giveaway, USA

Thanks so much for the virtual tour Hernando! I love the chance to explore niche stores in cities I haven’t been to and this is now on my list as well.
Looks like they have a great selection overall in a non-pretentious atmosphere! Thanks for the draw. I live in the US.

  • OMG what a gorgeous boutique it is. Now I will have another place to order from. Love the pictures showing the interior. I am in awe!!
I loved how they are holding masterclasses, and have private space for consulation. I have tried Althair before and it would be great to finally own one.
    In the US

  • Thank you Hernando for bringing this great place to my attention! Next time I am in the city I am definitely stopping here! I would love to win Althair, since I love musky vanilla scents. Thank you for this draw! I reside in the United States.

  • Beverly Hills is definitely closer to my home in Colorado than Paris, so perhaps a business trip will take me out that way soon and I can visit! It seems like there is something for everyone (perfume lovers of course) at their store. I would gravitate towards the personal consultation since I know I would be overwhelmed by all of the excellent perfumes.

  • That place looks like heaven on earth. Store director seems to be very kind person, and very knowledgeable. I have always loved PDM as a brand, and Herod is my number one favorite from them. I havent yet smelled Althaïr but have heard a lot of praise from the community. Thanks for giving a chance to win this. USA

  • Lophoflora336 says:

I am sure Hernando loved his trip to LA. The whole Parfums de Marly boutique looks very well crafted, with clean subtle interiors to all the various events, masterclass.. very well done. I loved how he mentioned that you get your own sweet space and time to try the fragrances.
Layton is my favorite Parfums de Marly, love the green apple note in it.
Thanks for the exciting giveaway, Cheers from NYC

  • Loved the pics, the boutique is gorgeous. I wonder if their top sellers change according to the store location. I have previously been to their NY boutique and it was so good.
Althair sounds so good for winters, with all the vanilla, praline, musk. Would be great to add it to my collection.

  • From what I saw in the pictures, the store is beautifully laid out. They make niche perfumery more accessible to the people, where they can go, try them out and learn more.
I’d agree with the compilation of the bestsellers, Delina has been my fav during early spring and summer months.
    Excited for Althaïr.

  • Such a beautiful shop in Beverly Hills CA. PDM has something for everyone beautiful selection. I love Delina. Althair sounds wonderful. USA

  • I found Hernandos visit to the Parfums De Marly location interesting because it reminds me of department stores from the 1960s where it was about creating a destination, an experience. Sure, you can buy perfume online, but creating a beautiful space where you can learn and interact with the product and brand is something special. I really feel like these type of destination shopping experiences are making a comeback.

  • thee_boy_wonder says:

I love the languages used to describe the space! It felt like reading a book and being taken in to the journey! Way to bring the reader along!

  • The absolute best part about reading about PDM boutique is imagining what I would purchase if I lived close enough to visit the store in person and spend hours there deciding. It just intrigues me so much. Would love to visit the store someday though. Thanks for the chance.

  • LavenderJuliette says:

I am sure this place makes you feel at home. All the scents look absolutely irresistible. I’d love to be a part of the events which Hernando mentioned, it would be a learning experience for sure.
I quite agree with the top 5 list they shared.
    Thank you for the giveaway.

I have been a fan since I visited their NY boutique. I want to give a shout out for great customer service and wonderful store support staff. I am eager to visit their LA boutique, really loved the interiors and the overall design of the place. If I am not wrong, Anoush previously worked at NY store.Best of luck to everyone.NYC, US

  • Such a pleasant description of the store.I loved the Olfactorium Station concept, really nice addition. Other than that the masterclass must have been a special experience too.
Hopefully a day I will be able to attend a Parfums de Marly event myself.
I have previously tried Althair and loved it. ( I even like the bottle color on this one)

  • Always enjoy seeing how posh a lot of these perfume boutiques are. It definitely keeps up with the “niche” vibe. Not surprised Delina is their top seller but I would have thought for sure Herod and Layton would be on that list, Haltane definitely surprised me. NYC USA

PDM’s Althaïr is truly incredible. I got my nose on this last Fall and wow what a beautiful rich and cozy fragrance. Perfect for these cold days of January. I would be elated to win this draw!

  • Oh boy, it is such a beautiful store in Beverly Hills.
I love the French Decor, the champagne bar, and everything about the new Parfums de Marly Store.
I hope that I can visit it soon so I can test all the PdM that I have not tried yet.
I hope I could win Althair.

  • What a treat it would be to take a fragrant walk around Beverly Hills to all these perfume boutiques….and Perfums de Marly seems to have upped the game on the fragrance boutique experience! I am especially curious about the semi-bespoke counter – I would love to find out more about this house. Thank you for this generous draw of Althair! I have never tried it, but would love to. I live in the US.

  • Gorgeous store with champagne bar. The store looks so cozy, chic and inviting. I haven’t been to Beverly Hills since I was a teen. The only reason to go back now would be for all the fine fragrance offerings including this shop. I didn’t realize there were that many fragrances as I’m limited to what is at the local department store. Not surprised to see Delina in the number one spot, I prefer the Exclusif variety, but own the original. The Exclusif is on my long wish list. Thanks for the informative article. USA.

It was fascinating to learn about the Fragrant Table and the Olfactorium Station which shows how much they value a great customer relatioship.
They are also doing a great job of introducing more people to the fragrances by holding events, masterclasses.

I really enjoyed Hernandos visit to the Parfums De Marly store because of the way he described his entire experience.
I never knew there is so much you can do in a store. I was mostly ordering online up until now but learning from his experience, I will try and visit their store and learn more since its more about the experience than anything else.
Getting to learn about the history of brand, their entire lineup.. this is what you dont get to experience online and thanks to Hernandos for this.

  • Wow, It looks incredible! I’d never heard about their Beverly hills store before, but I’m sure I could spend the whole day there. It really does make a huge difference to have knowledgeable staff, especially with that kind of selection. Thank you for listing the top 5, they sound right up my alley too. I might be going to LA this year, so I’ll have to stop in. I would love to try Althair. US

  • Parfums de Marly became one of the premier niche brands a short period of time , to my taste one of the best , Hernando Courtright is thinking in the same manner. I love a few of Parfums de Marly offerings but I’ve never been in one the the brand boutiques. On the other hand last year I’ve cooked 5 times , and later on attended fragrance meetings, masterclasses and presenting new fragrances for another major niche brand, and I intend to keep working with them in the future. The brand is not working with Cafleurebon, so I don’t think It would be appropriate to mention their name.
The Olfactorium Station initiative is actually a great idea , thank you Hernando for not skipping this. Bright colors, happy people , premier fragrances and enthusiastic boutique manager , I wish I was there and be able the chat with you all.
I have high expectations for Althaïr because Hamid Merati Kashani and Ilias Ermenidis cooked quite a few fragrances i love.

Thank you for your insight and beautiful pictures! I hope this year I will be visiting that magic place myself. Heaven on earth for a perfumista and PDM lover. I also appreciate Hernando mentioning the top sellers, Pegasus and Delina are my 2 most favorites.

  • Hernando has given such a vivid description of the store. I am amazed by the design, private spaces, and a cozy setting for events. The top 5 list is good, but given the LA’s climate, I think its justified why we dont see Layton on there.
Would love to visit the store someday,Thanks for the opportunity. In the US.

  • Just added Beverly Hills to my bucket list just to visit PDM. The private consultation is something I’d definitely take advantage of along with a master class with Anoush to hopefully help distinguish notes better. My top 3 PDM are Carlisle, Pegasus Exclusive, and Layton.

  • i love such stores which have a character to it. This is certainly one of the kind of stores I’d want to vist and do my shopping, unbothered and without any pressure to buy. Looks very cozy as well. I love vanilla based fragrances, I am sure I’ll enjoy wearing Althair.

I love LA and though it’s not far, I don’t go there very often. PDM boutique is definitely in my next trip! What a gorgeous store, it fits perfectly in the neighborhood. Thank you Hernando for the loving descriptions throughout your virtual tour.
Delina and Valaya are two of my favorites, and I think Althaïr would be a nice addition to my collection as well.
Thanks to Fine Fragrances Distribution, the nice people at PDM and CaFleurebon for the great draw! I’m in the US.

Hernando perfectly described the exquisiteness of the shop. I would so love to sample the Parfums de Marley fragrances in posh Beverly Hills. It would be wonderful to attend a master class as well.

  • I’ve been wanting to visit PDM boutique for a long time. I hear so many great things and have seen so many wonderful images from inside the boutique. It’s such a lovely space and the addition of Olfactorium Station makes it so exciting. If I make it to LA, they are on the top of my list of places to visit.
Best of luck to everyone. I live in NC, USA.

  • Store looks absolutely beautiful on the inside. So much though went into the design. So elegant. I especially loved the second floor set up, and their idea of holding masterclasses in commendadble. If I am ever in the LA area, I’d be sure to visit it.
I would love to own a bottle of Althair!! Thanks

  • Interesting store profile—I wasn’t familiar with the history of Parfums de Marly or its equestrian and Royal Court inspiration. The new Beverly Hills location is very elegant—the underlit shelves are a nice touch, and highlight the fragrances on offer—while the event space and Olfactorium Station make an in-person visit special.

    I’m in the USA.

I’m interested in the Olfactorium Station, where one can experience the individual ingredients which PDM uses. The only PDM fragrance I’ve tried so far is Layton. I’ve heard a lot of praise about Althair, and I’d like to win a bottle of it. I live in the U.S.A.

  • I’ve never had a chance to perfume shop in LA, good to know finally PDM has their boutique here as well. I like how functional it is when it come to testing perfumes with their fragrance Table
and their newest Olfactorium station which appeals to me the most.
I hope I can win this giveaway and get to try the amazing Althair.

I have liked Parfums de Marly since the day I tried their Layton ! Thanks for another great article and a new fragrance shop to visit. I enjoyed all the pics: the floor is stunning!
I have tried Althair previously and in my opinion its one of the best vanila fragrance out there which is not overly sweet and best suited for cold weather.
Thanks a lot for the draw

  • Such a gem of a boutique! with such a friendly atmosphere. Anoush looks incredibly knowledgeable in perfumes. As an added bonus, one can even get to attend the various events as well.
If I am ever in the area, I’ll be sure to visit. Thanks Hernando for the introducing me to this place.

Thankyou Hernando for the virtual tour, I really liked all the photos and how the article mentions so many different things about the store — like how they have dedicated olfactorium station, the fragrance table which is hallmark of every PDM boutique I have been to.Thank you for the accurate review of the boutique.

  • When I think Parfums de Marly , I always think Pegasus , fantastic fragrance with great performance. Thanks to Hernando Courtright i now know not only about the house new vision of the world of French luxury , but also that my favorite is one of top 3 best sellers of the new Beverly Hills boutique.
The designer’s work is impeccable, love the wooden floors, the masterclass room , Olfactorium Station and the uplifting vibe of the pictures, and the article.
Althaïr I’ve never smelled before, I’d pair the fragrance with Peak Lapel , Brown Double Breasted Suit, fusion of classic style and 2024 flair, just like Althaïr.
Thank you Hernando , Cafleurebon, Fine Fragrances Distribution

  • Parfums de Marly London and New York boutiques I’ve been to, next time I’m in Beverly Hills I’ll visit the new charming place.
Hubert de Malherbe is interior and product designer I’ve actually worked with twice on certain projects, I wonder if he and/or his studio is responsible for all other Parfums de Marly boutiques, or just the one in Beverly Hills. If I have to guess some if not all of the furniture in the boutiques are his making, I have Hubert de Malherbe table and chairs at home.
In the new boutique , and Hernando worl I love the whole design, the champagne bar on the second floor 😉 , Anoush Grigorian smile , Olfactorium Station, the meetings with fragrance enthusiasts and sharing the most popular fragrances.
Love both of my Delina bottles , the regular one and the Exclusif , also bought Byerley twice for my dad, he absolutely loves it.Althair is so tranquil , fresher than expected , not as heavy on the sweetness vanilla.
I knew Delina will be the best selling fragrance
Cafleurebon i follow on both Facebook and Instagram
    Thank you for the opportunity

IT was very interesting to read about Parfums de Marly’s Beverly Hills boutique, a haven of French elegance, harmonizes modern Parisian penthouse aesthetics with an 18th-century French chateau’s charm, directed by Anoush Grigorian. The store radiates sophistication on chic Brighton Way.

I would love to get my nose on Altair!
