Jovoy Paris Private Label, Ambre Premier and Psychédélique Reviews+ The Three You Should Be Wearing This Summer (in Paris) draw.

Jovoy Paris Private Label, Ambre Premier, Psychédélique reviews

Jovoy Paris Ambre Premier, Psychédélique and Private Label in a Jovoy red leather case – Picture, editing and collage by Emmanuelle Varron.

Many perfumes that I love to wear in fall and winter reveal new facets during summer. My skin loves them 365 days a year, so why deprive myself? Several were created by Jovoy Paris, under the creative direction of François Hénin, the owner and founder. ÇaFleureBon readers outside France should know that Jovoy Paris Parfums Rares is known as “niche perfume paradise” with 131 brands, two of them are their own: Jovoy Paris and Jeroboam. I am fortunate to have known Mr. Henin since 2010, when he owned a small boutique on rue Danielle-Casanova. I also had the chance to experience the beginnings of the Jovoy Paris brand that was released in 2011, because I was desperately looking for a beautiful patchouli with character, a hippy-chic version that was not at all fashionable in the time. Choosing just three from this wonderful line was not easy.

At that time François Hénin  told me that there would be a beautiful Jovoy fragrance that would appeal to my desire. I was even able to smell a sample of a not yet finalized version, which would become the famous Jovoy Paris Psychédélique. I also wanted this Jovoy Paris “The Three You Should Be Wearing” summer edition to show you my favorites places in Paris. Summer in Paris, as Anggun sings it so sensually; get ready to rethink your fragrance  choices when the temperature rises!

 Jovoy Paris Ambre Premier review

From left to right, top to bottom: Ambre Premier bottle / Place Vendôme / Nicolas Coustou La Seine et la Marne statue located in the Tuileries Garden / Sunset in the Tuileries Garden – all pictures by Emmanuelle Varron except Ambre Premier Bottle (by Jovoy).

Jovoy Paris Ambre Premier (Michelle Saramitot, 2011): If you have ever been to the rue de Castiglione boutique, you probably remember that a few meters from the entrance, you can already smell a bewitching and addicting scent: it is indeed Jovoy Paris Ambre Premier which is diffused. It is a soft amber with an “easy to wear” first glance; combined with musk, spices and rose, it opens with a lot of lightness and softness. It is only after several minutes that the vanilla gives a nice roundness on the skin, greedy and regressive. The rose also takes on an unexpected dimension, usually very discreet when I wear Jovoy Paris Ambre Premier in winter. Here, the rose imposes a “girly” facet that plays on equal terms with amber and gives a sophisticated character. Less balmy than in winter, more sparkling and flowery on skin heated by high temperatures, Jovoy Paris Ambre Premier is to be rediscovered under the sun, maybe by strolling on Place Vendôme or in the Tuileries Garden, neighbors of the Jovoy Paris boutique? Notes: spices, candied orange, rose, amber, musk, patchouli, vanilla.

Jovoy Paris Psychédélique review

From left to right, top to bottom: Psychédélique bottle / Centre Pompidou / Compression sculpture from Centre Pompidou César exhibition in 2018 / Max Ernst Capricorn sculpture on Centre Pompidou patio – all pictures by Emmanuelle Varron except Psychédélique bottle (by Jovoy).

Jovoy Paris Psychédélique (Jacques Flori, 2011): Jovoy Paris Psychédélique, a bold, opulent patchouli with a powerful trail when worn in winter, may seem like a curious choice for summer. Don’t worry it keeps a fresh and luminous opening brought by citrus fruits and when the temperature rises, the almost animalic notes usually of Jovoy Paris Psychédélique stay in the background. And if I still perceive this nod to the Woodstock and “Peace and Love” spirit thanks to the patchouli-cistus accord, it grows slowly into a floral and chocolate caress on my skin. A floral with geranium and rose which bring freshness and delicacy to patchouli, and even a sophisticated touch. And a chocolate touch with the addition of a plump and heated vanilla, full of gourmet notes, brightening the skin without any risk of sunburn. Jovoy Paris Psychédélique does not lose its sensuality when season changes, nor its assertive character (shy perfumistas will still find it difficult to wear), but it is less wild and more urban. That is typically the kind of perfume I like to wear to go to an exhibition at the Modern art Centre Pompidou Museum, with its “so 70’s” revolutionary architecture (it was inaugurated in 1977 after 6 years of construction works). Notes: citrus, amber, cistus labdanum, geranium, patchouli, rose, musk, vanilla.

Jovoy Paris Private Label review

From left to right, top to bottom: Private Label bottle / Restored Bourse de Commerce metal glass dome and frescos / Urs Fischer The Abduction of the Sabine Women wax sculpture installation surrounded by other wax sculptures / View from the Bourse du Commerce: Nelson Mandela garden, Les Halles Canopy and the Centre Pompidou – all pictures by Emmanuelle Varron except Private Label bottle (by Jovoy).

Jovoy Paris Private Label (Cécile Zarokian, 2011): Jovoy Paris Private Label may seem like the most surprising choice out of the three. Cécile Zarokian’s creation is a true woody-leathery fragrance par excellence, which warms you from head to toes with its cedar, sandalwood and patchouli notes, accentuated by cistus. In the summer Jovoy Paris Private Label is the style of perfume I like to wear for a night out, when the temperatures are a little cooler and the sun is setting. Its opening remains very lively, very woody (it reminds me of the smell that emanated from my father’s hands when he carried the logs to make a chimney fire) but it only lasts a few seconds. The papyrus brings a watery and fresh note, and the patchouli devirilizes this thunderous start with its creamy aspects linked by a vetiver which develops earthy notes. This is when cistus and sandalwood join the dance, bringing a delicious, milky and balmy roundness, like a leather jacket that one would wear on summer nights. At first glance rather masculine, Jovoy Paris Private Label is also a marvel to discover on the back of a woman’s neck. A mysterious scent with character, for a beautiful summer night.  An ideal perfume to discover on a Friday night, at the Bourse de Commerce nocturne, an old trading building completely renovated and transformed into a museum which houses mogul François Pinault rich and varied collection of contemporary art. With a view of the Nelson Mandela Garden, which frames Les Halles quarter, and, in perspective … the Centre Pompidou. Notes: papyrus, patchouli, vetiver, birch, cedarwood, cistus labdanum, sandalwood.

Disclaimer: A huge “merci” to Jovoy Paris for the samples provided for this review, even if I own all three perfumes. The opinions expressed are my own.

I loved the review and the spotlight on paris. Ive only tested psydelyque once, but my choice is Ambre premier.
    Merci beaucoup.

  • All of these fragrances sound fun for summer, but I would select Psychédélique for my summer into fall scent. NC USA

  • AleksCipri says:

Interesting choices. I’m not sure everyone would be able to we are all of these during summer. I was fortunate enough to sample Psychédélique at some point and I really loved it. Never thought about wearing it during high heat, it was always more a fall fragrance in my opinion. I am a very big patchouly fan so out of the three I would pick Psychédélique. It is after all on my wish list for a while now. I’m from Illinois, US.

  • I have only tried Remeber Me from Jovoy Paris, and would love to try more. Ambre Premier would be my choice. From the USA.

  • Thanks for the review Emmanuelle

I have tested Psychédélique before and absolutely loved it. Without a doubt I would pick Jovoy’s Psychédélique!

Other fragrances from Jovoy that I have tried are 21 Conduit Street and Incident Diplomatique. Incredible fragrances that I also hope to acquire one day.

    Greetings from the UK!

  • All of these fragrances are truly gems. I did sample. Psydelyque wonderful.Im always looking for an Ambre , Ambre Premier sounds really nice. Jovoy brand top of the line when it comes to niche. Great review Thank you for the chance. USA

  • Wonderful article! Of the three options, I’ve only tested Psychedelique (in fact, I’m wearing it now). It’s the only offering from Jovoy I’ve tried, which I guess makes it my favorite from them. Wonderful scent, but I’d want Private Label if I won! Cheers from NC, USA.

  • Ambre Premier, Psychédélique or Jovoy Private Label – they all seem wonderful, but since I am to choose one for this draw, based on Emmanuelle’s reviews, I’d go with Private Label. Unfortunately, I have not tried anything by Jovoy, yet, so if I am so lucky as to win this draw, it will be my first. Thanks for the reviews and a journey through Paris in summer. I am in the USA.

  • twiggy3634 says:

I’d love to have Private Label, especially as you liken it to the smell of a man’s hands carrying logs for a fire. Can’t get more masculine than that! I live in Indiana, where we have many log fires in summer nights and winter days. I’ve yet to try this house, but I’m hoping Private Label will be my first of many from Jovoy.

  • life_through_her_lens says:

Merci for yet another beautiful, insightful review and stunning photos my dear Emmanuelle!! I absolutely adore both Ambre Premier and Psychédélique! On my skin I find them to be somewhat related notes and character wise.
I would absolutely love to win the beautiful Ambre Premier!

  • I had the awesome experience of trying all Jovoy & Jeroboam fragrances at the Jovoy store in Dubai. Psychédélique & Remember Me were mesmerising. Visiting a Jovoy store and sampling their seemingly endless lineup of supreme quality niche houses is a fragrance lover’s dream. It’s great to know that Psychédélique (which I’d like to win) can also be worn during summer because it didn’t feel that way when I sampled the fragrance. VA, USA

  • Thank you for the opportunity for the giveaway would love to discover this brand have heard lots of great things.

  • Thank you, Emmanuelle! It’s always great to think outside expectations. ❤️ I love Paris & remember these places fondly. Thank you for the opportunity! I would love to win Jovoy Paris Private Label. USA

  • My fav from Jovoy Paris is Liturgie des Heures. If lucky, I’d choose Psychédélique. I’m a fan of patchouli and Geraniums. Thanks for featuring a wonderful house. Mich USA

  • patrick_348 says:

I have heard so much good about Jovoy’s Psychedelique that it would surely be the one I would choose. I visited Paris in the ’70s, so her linking the fragrance to that period appeals to me. I would never have thought of a patchouli-oriented composition as a year-round scent, and thus I was intrigued by Emmanuelle’s description of what it is like to wear it in summer. I have never tested or used any Jovoy fragrances. I live in the US, in North Carolina.

  • I would choose Ambre Premier. I haven’t tried any perfumes from this house but they sound lovely. From CA, USA.

  • Claumarchini says:

I haven’t been to Paris for almost 2 years now, due to the pandemic, and recently I keep on thinking that I can’t wait to get on that plane with destination Paris and… Finally go to Jovoy! Emmanuelle’s lovely review has not helped me at all in restraining my desire… I have a sample of Private Label and Remember me (that I absolutely love, like all work by Mme Zarokian) but my choice between the three would be Ambre Premier. Greetings from Italy

I don’t have a favourite from this house because I have not delved into this house. Thanks a million from the United Kingdom

  • Psychedelique sounds like a beautiful fragrance I love Patchouli, rose and labdanum mostly. I would probably choose Psychedelique a house that I am not familiar with but I am intrigued by nonetheless. A beautiful piece by Emmanuel captured my heart and attention. Thanks a lot from the UK

  • This summer i wish to visit Paris and wear Psychedelique ,i heard so much about it’s beauty and uniqueness, thanks for the draw, from EU with love!

  • Ambre premier sounds gorgeous. I love amber centric fragrances but i also love wearability in perfumes. Some niche ambers can be a bit TOO opulent, too specific and unique, and then I struggle to find the proper occasion to wear them.
    I am in the EU.
    Thanks!

  • Unfortunately I’ve never had the opportunity to try any Jovoy perfumes. O am a patchouli lover and have read many wonderful things about Psychédélique. This review confirms my choice of Psychédélique!
    I’m in the US.

  • I’m a huge fan of the line and I have several of them , psycadelic being my favourite.

Private label is one that I don’t have so I’d love that one 🙂

    EU

  • What a great review, thanks for this Emmanuelle! Haven’t tried anything from this house before. If I would win I would love to win Jovoy Private Label. Living in the EU

  • Nom de Guerre says:

Thank you for the review. Would love to have them all but Psychédélique takes the cake. Greetings from Riga, Latvia.

  • wagnerflo says:

Judging from the notes I could see myself liking Private Label. So I’d like to enter the draw for this one. I’m from Germany.

  • joshuabrian says:

Thanks for the draw! I’d definitely pick private label. Sounds soooo good! In USA.

  • I’ m all for the woods, anu time of the year. So my choice would be Jovoy Private Label. I love how Emanuelle links perfumes with certain ambients and artworks in Paris.
    Thanks for the draw!
    I’m EU

  • NituNicolae says:

Great and in depth review. I would love to win Psychédélique. I live in Romania, EU. Thank you for the giveaway!

  • Laurentiu says:

I love amber as a main note in perfumes, and Ambre Premier seems right up my alley!
    Thanks for the draw!

  • I am all in for for the Woodstock spirit of Psychédélique. Thank you for this draw. Greetings from Athens-Greece.

  • QuentinMathieu says:

I loved reading this article. I have visited Jovoy Paris last time I was in the city of lights, and just loved everything about the store. I have smelt a few Jovoy fragrances, and have a few favourites such as Remember me, la Liturgie des Heures and Incident Diplomatique. I have always been tempted by Psychédélique for its retro chocolaty patchouli, and I have a feeling this would be right up my street. Good luck everyone, from Belgium (EU)

  • The two that intrigue me most are Private Label and Psychédélique. Private Label seems like a smoky, earthy creation in the mold of Lalique Encre Noire which I love while Psychédélique seems like a true sweet, patchouli perfume. My choice for this draw is Psychédélique. I am in US

  • Bryant Worley says:

I loved the review and the spotlight on Jovoy Paris. I’ve tried 3 fragrances from the house previously – including Psychédélique, but my choice is Private Label.

My favorite Jovoy is Incident Diplomatique (thanks for reminding me that I should get another nice size sample).

    Merci beaucoup.

  • kramerongo says:

I fell for Psychédélique the gourmet fragrance with vanilla and chocolate touch lovely. I am in Sweden EU

  • Symbian Pandora says:

Love this line. Private Label has been a staple for me since it’s inception by the master perfumer Cecilè Zarokian. Have not tried the others listed here. Running low on Private Label, so that will be my choice.
Thanks to all at Cafleurebon ant Jovoy Paris for your generosity!!
    Connecticut, USA.

  • I have never tried anything from Javoy yet, but I would love the Jovoy Paris Ambre Premier as the notes and description sound wonderful. I live in the USA.

  • I would love to win Psychedelic, I don’t like “patchoufruit” (as the editors of the Auparfum blog call them) found in the mainstream I was seduced only once in my life by patchouli in Patchouli Intense by Nicolai . I have already tried Remember me and Incident Diplomatique de Jovoy which I love! I live in the EU.

  • macaroni023 says:

I am such a big fan of Jovoy Paris, this house has incredibly good perfumes, my favorite one is Psychédélique. I think it would beautifully sit on the skin in summer weather, I would be so happy to have it!
Thank you for the draw, I am from EU.

  • Julesinrose says:

I have had all three of these as samples in a shopping cart many times and for some reason STILL have not gotten my nose on them! Oh dear, which to choose if I had the good fortune to win? Psychedelique, only because I have too many amber frags. So, I have never tried any Jovoy fragrances, which is totally crazy. Waiting to go to Paris, perhaps! In Maine, USA

  • Actually, I would like to enter for Psychédélique because I also tend to associate perfumes with locations and the images from the Pompidou Museum caught my attention.

“That is typically the kind of perfume I like to wear to go to an exhibition at the Modern art Centre Pompidou Museum!”

My favorite Jovoy is Gardez Moi.

Thank you! I live in Europe.

  • I have never tried these three, so it would be great to taste them all! But I like Cecile Zarokian’s work, so my pick, if I were to win, would go to her creation: Private Label

  • emorandeira says:

Hi! I really would like to win Ambre premiere because I LOVE ambery fragrances and the citric vibe of Orange. My name is Edgar (@parfum_sindromico) and I am writing from Tenerife (Spain).

    Have a good day!!!

  • ElenaChiss says:

They all sound lovely, but I am curious how Ambre Premiere is. You really can’t go wrong with these notes spices, candied orange, rose, amber, musk, patchouli, vanilla. Yummy! Thanks for the draw! Based in the EU

  • Uwem Bassey says:

I will love to try Jovoy Paris Private Label. Coming to you from Columbia, Maryland (US).

  • Thank you Emmanuelle for introducing us these 3 Jovoy fragrances that will help to widen our choices of scents when the temperature rises and we only think that citrus ones can work in our skin. As you say fall and winter favorites reveal new facets during summer. All seem wonderful but based on Emmanuelle’s reviews, I would choose Private Label ( that will be my first of many from Jovoy). First of all because is a Cécile Zarokian’s creation and then the combination of cedar, sandalwood and patchouli is a winner for me: love woody-leathery fragrances! A mysterious scent with character perfectfor a beautiful summer night even if I am not in the new François Pinault´s museum! I live in Spain, EU.

  • jmmcmenamin says:

I love any review that invokes images of Paris! I’m not familiar with this fragrance house, but would select Ambre Premier because of the rose note. Located in Louisiana, USA.

  • I’ve been wanting to try something from Jovoy Paris for a while now, but I haven’t yet. I’ve been especially wanting to try “Psychedelique” because I love patchouli and I’ve heard Sebastian Jara speak highly of it, at least, a few times. I’d love to win “Psychedelique”. I live in MD., U.S.A.

  • I would love to spend the summer in Paris, but alas, it’s not to be. In lieu of my lack of travel plans, I would be most happy with a bottle of Jovoy Private Label. I love patchouli in every season and the notes list sounds interesting. I don’t think I’ve ever encountered papyrus in a fragrance before. I do not have a favorite Jovoy Paris perfume. I’m in MD, USA.

  • lilacdays says:

I’ve already tried Psychedelique which is a wonderful patchouli fragrance. I haven’t tried any of the other fragrances from this house. Jovoy is marvellous perfume shop and I go there many times.
    I would to win Psychedelic.
Many thanks for this draw. I’m sure I wont win anything as I’ve been entering Cafleurebon draws for over a over and never get anything.
    I live in France

  • Although Ambre premier sounds great, I could not resist to the delicious Psychedelique!

  • Although Ambre premier sounds great, I could not resist to the delicious Psychédélique!

Regards from Middle East, Dubai, UAE.

  • I really dig the description for Private Label and liked this paragraph ‘In the summer Jovoy Paris Private Label is the style of perfume I like to wear for a night out, when the temperatures are a little cooler and the sun is setting.’
I am in Europe. Thank you very much for the mini-reviews and thank you Mr. Henin for this giveaway!

  • Psychedelique would be my choice. KY/USA. I do not yet have a favorite from the house. Thanks.

  • Great choices by Emmanuelle especially because they are what I wouldn’t normally think for summer
    I would pick psychedelique
    USA

  • My choice for the draw is Psychedelique. I don’t have a fave from the house. US

  • wandering_nose says:

What an enticing and gracious review from Emmanuelle! Very informative too in terms of the background of Jovoy. I have been very curious to try the releases of Jovoy Paris and especially Psychédélique has been on my radar for a while now so it would definitely be my choice should I be lucky to win! Thank you from Ireland, EU

  • Wow, what tremendous generosity from François Henin. Jovoy Paris is a house that has many incredible creations, although I have yet to try them all. Reading this review makes me want to go to Paris, as it’s a city I’ve never visited. I agree that Psychédélique is an excellent expression of patchouli, it would be my choice if I were selected to win. I still don’t have a favorite Jovoy perfume, though. Thanks so much for the chance! I’m in Oregon, USA.

I have been wanting to try Psychédélique for some time now. Your description of the chocolate and heated vanilla sounds divine! I’m in the US.

I’ve sampled a handful from the house and grabbed a full bottle of psychedelic. It’s my favorite from the house and really changed my view of patchouli and catapulted it to the top of my favorite notes list. Everything from Jovoy is top notch and if I had the chance to choose another addition to the wardrobe, it would be Ambre Premier. It is an amazing amber! Not too heavy and I could see it working well in the summer. Thank you for the draw! From Idaho, USA

  • I absolutely adore every single perfume from Jovoy, at least the ones I’ve smelled. Incident Diplomatique is my favourite since I wore it the most, but Private Label is my second favourite – and it is my choice among the three! I live in Croatia, EU.

  • mirjamraabis says:

I have read many reviews about Jovoy fragrances, but like many other only tried Psychedelique. Although it would be a challenge for me, I would love to get to know it better, so my choice is Psychedelique.
    I live in EU, Estonia.

  • Thank you for taking us on a quick picture trip to Paris! I have always stayed with scents that were considered seasonal. Maybe I will get out of the box and try something with some depth and see what happens as a personal experiment today. I haven’t tried any fragrances from Jovoy but I have heard many positive reviews on several of them.

My choice for the giveaway would be Amber Premier. In the USA.

  • IvanVelikov says:

Private Label and Psychedelique i know , Ambre Premier i do not.
Private Label is earthy, rooty leather and patchouli fragrance leaning masculine.
I have to say Psychedelique is beyond gorgeous, one of the best dark chocolate patchouli scents ever.
Ambre Premier sounds great too , easy to wear amber , candied orange , rose , vanilla and musk. I’ll try to find a sample.
Psychedelique is my choice , my favorite Jovoy
    Thanks a lot
    USA , rarely Paris France

  • Jovoy is a quality house. I’ve liked each one that I tried. My favorites are Les Jeux sont Faits (which I own) and Ambre Premier. So of course, that is the one I would like to win. It is one of the best ambers around. Truly underrated.
    I live in Denmark, EU.

  • petergigov says:

La Liturgie des Heures , Psychedelique , Les Jeux sont Faits Jovoy and Private Label are the Jovoy fragrances i have sampled last year . La Liturgie is good , but unlike the others it stays really close to the skin . The other 3 are much stronger , i’m not sure if the concentration was different , or it’s just me. Les Jeux sont Faits i found to be the best smelling one of the four , $180 is what i paid for 100ml bottle from Luckyscent.
I have not yet tried Ambre Premier , but make sure I will. All the grown up characteristics are the reason.
Emmanuelle Varron taste for summer fragrances is kind of interesting. Wearing
Psychedelique and Private Label in the summer? Such thoughts never even crossed my mind … up until now.
If I win i would like to get Psychedelique.
    Exciting giveaway, USA
    Regards

  • I’ve sampled two. The one I haven’t is Ambre premiere. Might go with Psychedelique at the moment. Enjoyed the review. Thanks, Ca

  • I think Psychédélique is the one that I would enjoy the most out of this wonderful trio.

‘Jovoy Paris Psychédélique, a bold, opulent patchouli with a powerful trail when worn in winter, may seem like a curious choice for summer. I would love to win a bottle of Psychédélique. I’m a huge fan of patchouli and would love to wear to a museum.

  • I’m in the US and it is miserably hot where I am but I’d love to give Ambre Premier a try. Our cooler temps don’t last so long here and I love a nice warm amber fragrance and I’m intrigued by the “sparkling and flowery” description of this one in the heat. Thanks!

Thank you for this lovely review. These three Jovoy gems they truly sound very glamorous. Also the setting in this wonderful review makes it all worth your while. Someday soon I hope to visit Paris, although in the meantime I have your review for a little imaginative trip. From the three shown in this review I have to say that I’ll love to win Jovoy Paris Private Label. I feel that because of the notes, this could be a fragrance that I could wear day or night, just really wearable for my lifestyle. Again, thank you for taking to the time to give us a Jovoy and Paris. Commenting from Orlando, Fl USA

  • Bubeto_GG says:

Jovoy Paris is by far the best fragrance boutique i’ve ever been to-no US boutique comes even close , or it will ever be.
Favorite Jovoy is Remember Me , my second favorite Incident Diplomatique ,i own both.
What’s Summer or Winter fragrances is subjective, people should wear what they like, and makes them feel good.
Private Label picks up the best from different era’s. I don’t find it utterly masculine , and to me every patchouli lover should get a sample.
Psychedelique is Woodstock inspired, earthy-green and then goes into modern chocolaty semi gourmand.
Ambre Premier i have tried , and as far as i can remember the opening was really sweet , like a gourmand … almost. I don’t know how it develops, I’ve only tried it on blotter , but not on skin.
    I’d love to win Psychedelique
Thank you Emmanuelle , and François Henin

Jovoy Psychédélique is an amazing composition. He impresses with his beauty. Once listening to it’s sound, it will be imprinted in memory forever. And I’m not even the biggest fan of patchouli, but it’s served here in such a velvety and magical chocolate way, that it’s just impossible to resist. He’s taking over thoughts. Great work!
I’d really like to have it in my collection.
    I’m from the EU

  • Private Label to me i a bit rugged patchouli and vetiver fragrance, with nice boozy nuances .
Both Psychédélique and Ambre Premier i have not smelled before , but I’ll make sure I will.
Les Jeux Sont Faits is my favorite Jovoy. Underrated tobacco and rum gem I’m happy to have.
Psychédélique i believe is the most popular Jovoy fragrance, and I also wonder how do you wear gourmand patchouli and rose in the summer? Sensual, less wild, and more urban unique way to describe a fragrance, Psychédélique please.
    Thanks for the draw
USA , and Germany from time to time

  • I’m into quality niche and indie fragrances for around 15 years, but Jovoy I discovered 2 years ago . I was so wrong with my “Maybe later” policy towards the house.
Remember Me is in my possession now, green tea, warm, spicy and lactonic. Must try fragrance ! My favorite Jovoy.
The complexity of Psychédélique intrigues me. I have a feeling I’m one of the few fragrance enthusiasts in love with patchouli, who never smelled it. From earthy green patchouli, to chocolate and vanilla , splendid !
Ambre Premier versatility, and easy to wear characteristics sounds nice. Joyful amber.
Now Private Label I’m familiar with, macho man feel is definitely present. The booziness is so strong on my skin, it’s so dry , each to his own of course, but I’d never wear it in the heat.
Psychédélique is my choice, hope I’ll be the lucky one to win the giveaway.
    Thank you Emmanuelle, and Jovoy

  • I only know two Jovoy fragrances . Bought a sample, and later bottle of Incident Diplomatique because of Sebastian speaking highly about it literally all the time. Special occasions only perfume.
Ambre Premier I sampled, and bought because of Dana Sandu Cafleurebon review. Smells like Caramel Rose Wedding Cake with Peaches , withe real rose water in it.
Psychédélique would be my pick. Making and later eating Chocolate Cake, while in the woods ⛰ is what I imagined after reading the review.
Appreciate Emmanuelle Varron mini reviews, and the giveaway campaign

  • I’ve never tried any fragrances from this line, but would love to be entered for the bottle of Jovoy Private Label. I’m in IL, USA. Thank you!

Emmanuelle we either have diametrically opposed body chemistry, or you’re really bold in a good way 🙂
I’ve made similar comparisons before, but I’ll do it again , In basketball Michael Jordan is the GOAT , greatest of all time.
In our beloved fragrance world, Jovoy Paris is what Michael Jordan is to NBA, the epitome of niche fragrances knowledge, and service like no other.
François Henin i had the absolute blast of meeting at the first Paris Jovoy boutique.
Since I know all 3 fragrances in the article, I’ll share my thoughts:
1.Booze, cigarette smoke, the leather , wood is what I get from Private Label . Private Gentleman’s Club smell
2.Ambre Premiere is easy laid-back spicy amber .
Versatile fragrance . Opening is a bit sweet , earthy patchouli in the base.
3.Psychedelique Is shapeshifting fragrance you should always try first. The opening is completely different from the base , earthy and dampy . I do have a sweet tooth, and chocolate spread with whiskey I get in the base I love .
From Jovoy as a brand i do own full bottle of the famous Les Jeux sont Faits – fantastic night out scents. One of the best out there-to me at least.Remember Me i also own.
    All profiles I already follow.
I also follow the other 2 Jovoy boutiques I’ve been to @jovoymayfair and @jovoyuae
    Psychedelique would be great
Thanks to François Henin,Emmanuelle and Cafleurebon . Top giveaway
USA only, not for too long

  • My choice would be private label. Generally, i enjoy the performance of the brand. Infant terrible is probably my favorite.

All of these fragrances sound fun for summer, but I would select Psychédélique for my summer into fall scent. PA, USA

  • sephrenia300 says:

They all sound interesting, but Ambre Premier would be my choice! In the US.
