Jovoy Paris Psychedelique Review (Jacques Flori) 2011 + Best Winter Fragrance Draw 2

Jovoy Paris Psychedelique review 2

 via  deviantart benedge2010

In the world of perfumery, François Hénin of Jovoy Paris is known as the “Ambassador” of Niche. If you are looking for a rare or Hard To Find artistic perfume, chances are Jovoy stocks the one you covet or will love.

Photo Jovoy Paris (Paris Store) 4 Rue de Castiglione via Jovoy Paris

François Hénin opened his first store in Paris, on 4 Rue Castiglione in 2010 (there are now seven Jovoy Paris boutiques worldwide- two in Paris, one in London and four in the Middle East). Francois created an eponymous line Jovoy brand, and ÇaFleureBon was the first to review Jovoy perfumes in 2011 with six offerings including Jovoy Paris Psychedelique by Jacques Flori, which it seems is even more popular today than it was when it launched. As the name implies, Jovoy Paris Psychedelique pays homage to the 1960s and the star of the perfume is patchouli. A rich chocolately patchouli that’s perfect for the winter.

Another great review by Sebastian – was great meeting him at ScentXplore. Patchouli can be polarizing, but I like the way it’s used here.
Thanks for the chance at another great giveaway.

  • I do really enjoy his reviews, all are straight to the point and very well informed thus it is a learning experience everytime. My favourite Jovoy fragrance would be Private Label.

  • Favourite has always been Incident Diplomatique, until I scooped up Pavillon Rouge this year. Seb is dead on that this one is a patch bomb though – super earthy and rugged on me, but still brilliantly blended. Completely agree with the appropriateness of the name as well. In fact, I wonder what it would smell like under the influence of……well, let’s not go there. 😛 Chocolate me up! Canada.

  • Sebastian is a self-described “patch ho” so what I love about this video is the bold declaration of saying this is his favorite patchouli fragrance! Wow, this one must be pretty special to claim that title. I have not tried it yet, but I know Jovoy makes quality stuff. My favorite of theirs is the warm and boozy tobacco one, Pavillon Rouge.

  • Great review. He has good taste. I remember he mentioned incident diplomatique was great. So i tried it out and it blew my mind. That and psychodelique are on my list. Sadly psychedelique is sold out almost everywhere. Long story short Sebastian is the man and has impeccable taste. I never miss a video and this one was no exception.

  • Sebastian always does a great job. Patchouli can be divisive, but I love it and have been wanting the opportunity to try Jovoy for so long, just not available near me, so im excited for the giveaway. Fingers crossed from Ontario, Canada

  • Another wonderful review by Sebastian. Man this is my first time entering a giveaway because I want to win this one so bad. I love almost everything about patchouli, the earthiness, the smokiness. Been enjoying hindu grass by nasomatto, thundra by profumum roma, and of course incident diplomatique by jovoy since 2017. And jovoy has been one of my favorite houses, quality ingredients, long lasting unique fragrances, love almost every creation (except rouge assassin only because I’m not a big iris fan). I have tried this one in the store but at that time I only got the money for one bottle so I went for the incident diplomatique. Really hope that I can win this one, and good luck to everyone!

  • I do like his every single video. What his review will always do trigger me to purchase a bottle. I would love to own this bottle as this is Sebastian favourite winter fragrance of 2019 & his favourite patchouli fragrance.

  • I almost can visualize the smell based on what Sebastian says. It’s the second time I see him comment on Psychedelique and I am anxious to try it out.

  • Ron Carrasco says:

Great review! I usually don’t like scents that tend to smell like chocolate but this takes it to another level, would love to add a bottle to my collection! Thanks

  • Sebastian is spot on with his review. I do pick up the chocolate in the dry down. This fragrance is a compliment monster on me. Worth every penny I paid.

  • Really enjoyed each review of Sebastian and this one was not the exception. Among all fragrance reviewer, he is my favorite because of his knowledge and the way he explains and gives his opinions. I don’t have any Jovoy Paris fragrance, but Sebastian has introduced me to this house in many of his videos and I can’t wait to have the first one. My favorite one would be Incident Diplomatique.

  • Zechariah Bendlin says:

I enjoyed this review because I love Sebastian’s channel and the way he describes the fragrances. The Jovoy fragrance I’ve tried is Remember Me and I would love to try Psychedelique.

  • A great review by Sebastian, always does a great job describing fragrance. Patchouli, Amber, vanilla and chocolate. I can’t wait to try this fragrance. I’m new to this house and will definitely consider this House in the future! One of the best reviewers on YouTube!

  • Sebastian is such a pasionate reviewer, i love the way he describes fragrances, i already can smell them… and what i really like is that giveaway is worldwide, so everybody has a chance to win this awesome niche fragrance! This would be my first niche fragrance if i win this, it would be awesome to say i got my first niche from you guys with Sebastians help… Salute from Bosnia!

  • ThatMulattoDude says:

Another bangin review by Sebastian. Never tried anything from this house but I like chocolate cake. Add a little booze? Okay, I’ll take that thank you hahaha. Appreciate the opportunity!

  • A great detailed review by sebastian who is my favourite reviewer right now as he talk about many many fragrances and I trust his taste. I actually got to know jovoy from sebastian I started by incident Diplomatique which blow me away when I smelled it and I really like that they sent me 2ml sample of their whole collection which made me purchase another 4 bottles from them. 1 pavillion rouge 1 touch finale 1 private label and another 1 incident Diplomatique as a back up to my bottle. I would like to put my nose on this pscydeluque beast and very excited about it. Currently jovoy is my favourite niche house.

    Thank you

    Hussein

  • I’ve been hearing the buzz about this fragrance and would love to be formally introduced to the brand. Patchouli, labdanum, and musk are my favorite notes, reminding me of warm hugs from well traveled intellectuals as a child. Thank you for the chance to win!

  • If someone who loves Patchouli states that this is his favorite patch-scent that means something – and makes me curious!
Never tested any Jovoy fragrance so far.

  • Deborah McKenzie says:

Sabastian has gift of expressing fragrance with atmoshpere and memory. I was given an Ambre candle that I coveted. There is just thin layer left that I keep to perfume a drawer. Im completely drawn in to the description of the Psychedelique vibration.

  • By the name Psychedelique, it would be interesting to prove it. Thanks 4 the opportunity. I have a parent in the US for the shipping. Let me know.

  • Sebastian is my favorite fragrance reviewer hands down. There is something about his personality and honesty and his amazing love of fragrance that is pure inspiration for me. I am early on in my fragrance journey and so I love his insight and passion. Thank you Sebastian and keep up the great work! I am a huge patchouli lover so I am excited for the chance to acquire a bottle of this amazing juice!

  • Love Sebastian’s reviews and was intrigued by the ambery patchouli mix with vanilla sweetening it up a bit.

  • Sivikelwe Gwebu says:

    Good day,

Sebastain is the only reviewer who can make you imagine the smell of the fragrance without even owning one.

His review this time around was a bit more personal. I could tell by him repeatedly mentioning how he loved the fragrance. The way he described the fragrance also indicated that he has worn it before. I currently stay in South Africa ,Western Cape which is always COLD. The fragrance would be an awesome win for me as a student; cheap liner fragrances are all I can afford.

    Nonetheless what an awesome brand.

    It screams quality :::)))

    Goodluck to am participants

  • I tried this great fragrance and fell in love! An earthy and chocolatey patchouli, very natural smelling. I also tried jovoy incident diplomatique but between the two I prefer psychedelique. Would love to win a full bottle.

  • polaroidcaesar says:

Great review by Sebastian! I love his patchouli reviews because patchouli is one of my favorite notes too! I haven’t smelt this one yet, but it’s been on my to-try list for a while. Loved the way he described this one…Boozy, chocolatey, cakey, ambery, oh my! My favorite that I’ve sampled from Jovoy is Les Jeux Son Faits. Located in Taiwan.

  • Boozy dark chocolatey cake sounds divine. With the citrus opening and heavy on the patchouli, which I love. This being Sebastions favourite winter scent is saying a lot. I have not tried any Jovoy fragrances, but am going right now to see if they have any sample sets to try. Would love to win a bottle of Psychedelique USA

  • Ahmed Alahmari says:

As usual, Sebastian gives a clear description for the notes. My Jovoy favourite fragrance is Private Label

  • Andrei artimon says:

Just love the way he reviewa fragrances , make s you want to buy it right away , favourite jovoy is incident diplomatique , new york , usa .

  • Sebastian is a very good reviewer, very professional in his reviews… and I actually never tried psychodelique before and wish so much to try it….
    Salam from Denmark

  • I don’t really like patchouli. But what I have learned about fragrances is give any fragrances a lot of wearing to judge it .

  • Sebastian loves patchouli and so do I. I enjoyed his description of Jovoy Psychedelic as being “earthy”. Chocolate cake and booze? How can anyone resist? Thanks for this fabulous draw! USA

  • Sebastian has such excellent taste. If he says that this is his favourite patchouli scent, then it must be very impressive. I have never tried a Jovoy scent (I am in Canada and thus have somewhat limited access), but I would love to be entered into this giveaway contest.

This is my favorite fragrance ever since Sebastian did top 20 patchouli fragrance. This is absolutely amazing. I’m a hippie at heart born in the wrong generation. Merry Christmas and thanks for allowing me to participate in this give away. Thank youyou

  • due to sebastian’s detailed review, i’ll HAVE to try on psychedelique—ironic, as a child patchouli repelled me; i wear it these days. alas, no jovoy paris fav, yet!

  • I loved sebastian’s review for many reasons but the main one was that he inspired me to save up and buy Incident Diplomatique which I thought was my favorite until I got a small lucky scent dab tester of this! I loved it! I can only imagine what the full sprayer would do on my skin. Sebastian’s videos have made my extend my collection greatly and this would certainly be an appreciated addition to Incident as I’ve fallen in love with Jovoy!

  • Would love having this one in my collection have been looking for it for long time since hearing it on Sebastian’s channel. Had tried this one at a boutique, but they didn’t had it in retail. Since then looking for a full bottle.

  • Sebastian is a great reviewer, he does a fantastic job conveying the essence of the fragrance. “The King of Patchouli”! I also enjoy big bold fragrances, love it! I have not tried Jovoy yet, so I can’t say which is my favorite.
    Canada

  • I really enjoyed Sebastian’s description of the fragrance, “dark chocolate cake with boozy notes”, I’ve never smelled a pachouli like that, granted I’m still an amateur in parfums collecting.

  • I think Sebastian was the first reviewer to introduce Jovoy Paris to me. Coincidentally, I am wearing Psychedelique (from a sample). Thank you very much for the giveaway.

  • Great review by Sebastian. Seen his in depth review of this earlier too. Simply amazing. Have tried this at a boutique in my city but was unable to get a retail bottle. Out of stock. Been looking for this since then. Would love to have it.

  • I tried Psychodelic and Sebastian is on point describing scent profile. My favorite Jovoy fragrance as on now is Incident Diplomatique.

  • I’ve never had anything from the house of Jovoy, but I’ve been hearing so much about this bottle lately. Sebastian won me over when he mention its rich chocolate cake semblances, and gourmands are my favorite types of perfume. (USA)

  • If Jovoy is one of Sebastian’s favourite niche houses, then I’m all ears. His youtube review of Jovoy’s Psychédélique was intriguing, mainly for the declaration of this perfume being the King of all Patchouli fragrances, bold and strong, yet also with a cosy sweet vanilla dry down to look forward to. The heart of amber combined with the smoky, dark chocolate aspects sounds perfect for a winter fragrance. Just my cup of lysergic tea. I’ve added a sample to my Lucyscent basket, but would be over the moon to win a bottle for wearing this winter. Canada reader!

  • I have never had the chance of trying a Jovoy fragrance. I am very interested in having a bottle of Psychedelique.

I wish all the best to the Jovoy Brand and Sebastian of Looking Feeling Smelling Great.

  • Very thorough review as always Sebastian. I was mad for patchouli about 15 years ago and I’m starting to rediscover this note in fragrances again. I love the nod to the 1960s with the Psychedelique name. I’ve not tried any Jovoy Paris perfumes before. I live in the US

  • I always look forward to Sebastian’s video reviews- the production quality is very high and dense with information.
    Jovoy-yes please!

  • I love Jovoy. I bought remember me and also private lad recently because I was visiting Paris. Also because Cécile Zarokian is one of my favorites. Thanks for letting me know they ship outside now to everywhere.
Great review of psychedelique I love Patchouli too

  • paint.it.6lack says:

My favorite part of Sebastian’s video was how he describes the fragrance. Sounds truly divine. Gardez-Moi is the only Jovoy fragrance I’ve got to get my nose on. Lovely!

  • I liked his explanation of the various notes, and how they come together to create this awesome ‘boozy, chocolate-cakey’ fragrance. For me, the fact that it has amber, rose and vanilla just adds to my desire to get my nose on this. My favorite Jovoy is Incident Diplomatique.

  • mohamedkhatat says:

Sebastian my favourite niche reviewer top on the list 1 on the list love his reviews I buy my perfumes based on his reviews sometimes I don’t even need to sample because of the reviews he gives I know what am expecting from reviews I don’t own Jovoy so hope I win *Inshallah* (*God willing*)

  • I love that you can always tell he is really enjoying a fragrance and his straightforward reviews are always appreciated. I particularly enjoy hearing him say this is his favorite patchouli scent from someone who has smelled as many fragrances as Sebastian has to say one particular fragrance is his favorite really arouses my curiosity. Plus I lost my best friend from childhood in a car accident a couple years ago and wearing patchouli always reminds me of him cause patchouli scents were the only kind he would wear.

  • I love Patchouli and the fact that Sebastian says this is his favorite patchouli makes me very intrigued. I also like strong and complex fragrances and that is exactly how Sebastian described this. I love the bottle and the Psychedelic theme too. Right up my alley! Unfortunately I haven’t tried anything from Jovoy as I am a relative noobie to niche perfumes, but I’d love to try this. Thanks for the opportunity. West Palm Beach, FL, USA.

  • I always enjoy Sebastian’s vids,
he’s one of my favorite reviewers.
I love his passion, and his experience with parfums.
I haven’t tested any of Jovoy’s fragrances yet,
but I really can’t wait to do so,from the sample service 3:)
    Remember me,Incident diplomatique,Private label &
Psychedelique are the ones that I’m interested the most.
Thank you very much, good luck to all

  • Alberto p cabello says:

    Perfect picture(green) for psychedelique
My favorite note ever , thanks for let us know

  • At first I want to say THANK YOU SEBASTIAN for your awsome fragrance rewies!!!I became obsessed by perfumery and I hope one day I’ll release my own perfume. My favorite one from Jovoy colection is Incident Diplomatique , there are no words to describe this one I fall in love with it from the first smell . I wish you Merry Christmas and Happy New Year . California, Sacramento:)

  • I just recently discovered Sebastions chanel and if he gives the thumbs up I am in. Joviy is a brand i have had my eye one and just never sampled. Sebastions comparison of Psychedelique with chocolate has me hooked. I am in the US

  • I’m huge fan of patchouli actually is my favorite note and this parfume as Sebastian reviewed sound that can be my favorite patchouli too. He is also patchouli lover so I doubt that can go wrong
I’m dessparatly looking for good patchouli parfume.
Please count me on this GVW
    Greetings from Jersey.

  • I liked how Sebastian described this as a boozy chocolate cake fragrance. Among other things of course. I have not tried any Jovoy fragrances yet although a number of them sound very nice. In the U.S. Thanks for the draw.

  • I liked learning about a fragrance brand I’ve never heard of! I don’t have a favorite, I’ve never smelled a Javoy fragrance

  • anthonycedeno99 says:

I love this fragrance, I went to ZGO in San Francisco to smell it for the first time and it was a love at first sniff for me. The patchouli is absolutely addicting!!! I got a small sample of it at ZGO after I purchased this other fragrance, but I’m running out soon and I need a full bottle. I wore this fragrance yesterday when I met up with Sebastian and Sebastian said he could smell it on me and I was 10 feet away from him! It’s amazing how much silage and projection this fragrance has. The best way I could describe it is a sweet, boozy, chocolatey, ambery, patchouli masterpiece. I absolutely love this one and I don’t find it hard for challenging to wear at all. It excels in cold weather and it projects off your skin for many hours, this is my favorite from the house of Jovoy also. It was released in 2011 but yet it smells so modern. A modern classic. If I could own one patchouli for the rest of my life it would absolutely be Psychadelique by Jovoy. 🙂

  • Patchoe here! I adore the Patchouli note in fragrances. I love how Sebastian explained about the notes in Psychedelic and the scent feel so I can have a good understanding on how the fragrance smell without really smelling it.

  • I bought a full bottle of Jovoy incident diplomatic and pavilion rouge after listening to Sebastian reviews. Pyschedilic has been his favourite patch fragnance since a year or more where he is putting it on many top 20 list. This description very clearly describes the Fragnance like I smelled few months back. Jovoy is having traction in my city MUMBAI, INDIA. Thanks.

  • Jerry Guilherme says:

What I liked about Sebastian’s review was his assurance that the patchouli, while in your face earthy, still comes across as chocolate cake like. It made me chuckle a bit as if he knows there are viewers who are too timid to try something simple as that note. The juice is dark in that gorgeous bottle so you know the fragrance is gonna be intense.

  • Been hearing a lot about PSYCHEDELIQUE as a patchouli fragrance with chocolatey accents as Sebastian confirms. USA

  • Sebastian’s review pretty much painted the idea of what this fragrance smells in real life. Boozy, with a hint of chocolate, and patchouli – i’m already craving for this. By the way also find the bottle to be very elegant looking!

  • What can I say? Sebastian’s reviews are always great. I’ve never tried any of the line, although I have always wanted to. I love patchouli, so this would really be a great edition. Thanks for the most generous draw and another great review. I’m in the USA

  • Wow. Sounds like a “must have” fragrance. I am really into patchouli. I’ve myself have 4 essential oils (4 de different brands) and I am crazy about them, especially the dark ones. I am short in winter fragrances. Didn’t,t know the house, but thanks to Sebastian I’ll start to search for the fragrances and reviews. These niche fragrances are pretty hard to find here in Brazil.

    Best regards

  • Ahh I also adore patchouli!! Especially because it gives me a vintage hippy earthy feel like I am dancing with bare feet in the dirt. Sebastian always talks about Jovoy but I’ve never had the chance to smell it! Hoping that now is my chance 😀
    I live in the US.

  • I was first getting into Sebastian review because I was looking for reviews of a few Guerlain fragrances. His videos were often insightful and educative. I never had the opportunity to try a sample of any fragrances of this house before, but I do hear rave reviews about Psychedelique.

  • If it’s Sebastian’s winter 2019, a huge patchouli that runs chocolate with musk and vanilla at the bottom – how could you possibly go wrong? This sounds FABULOUS. I do not have a favorite Jovoy yet, but this sounds like it would be the one. I live in the USA.

  • Sebastian does reviews with a lot of passion and this video is a good example. His appreciation of Psychedelique in his top patch video really sparked my nose for patchouli fragrances and i started to enjoy all the nuances of the patchouli(boozy, earthy,minty,chypre-sy,grassy etc)
Even if i don”t win i will have Psychedelique by Jovoy in my collection.
    Happy Holidays!

  • I always wanted to try patchouli flavor, Sebastian, as always, you tell very nice, and this post is no exception, I just want again to try it. Connecticut USA

  • Sebastian has impeccable taste in fragrance. The one thng he goes gaga is patchouli. How cute! I haven’t tried any from this brand. Would be great to win one of Sebastian’s favorite. He is an awesome reviewer and I trust his taste. Greetings from IL, USA.

  • What Sebastian says in the fragrance world carries weight. So, for him to claim Psychedelique as his best patchouli fragrance and also his favorite niche perfume for 2019, that definitely perks the interest of a lot of us here. Big and bold patchouli that turns ambery in the heart and dries down to a sweet and musky vanilla base. Boozy chocolate fragrance sounds perfect for this weather. Don’t have a favorite Jovoy fragrance…yet. Would love to sample more of this brand. Thanks for the draw. Regards from Boston USA.

  • I always love Sebastian’s detailed yet easy to follow reviews where he breaks down the notes and the experience of wearing a perfume. I can almost smell Psychedelique in my head from his descriptions of dark chocolatey patchouli and a boozy tinge. I haven’t yet tried any Jovoy fragrances but have Psychedelique and Private Label lined up for testing. Thank you for the review and the giveaway. I’m in USA

  • I’ve heard so much good things about this house, I would love to try. Nothing like a great bold fragrance. Chocolate cake too? Yum!

  • Hi! I love the way in which Sebastian describes fragrances, with technical details but also with a personal touch that makes the reviews memorable. I watched his and Dalya’s top 20 patchouli scents and ever since then I wish to try Psychedelique. I don’t have a favourite Jovoy, although I visited their main store in Paris, but I was overwhelmed and only got to test some other (many) fragrances from that palace of perfume! Patchouli is one of my favourite notes in perfumes. That is why I would love to try this one. Thanks!
    I live in Romania, EU.

  • I am yet to smell any of the Jovoy fragrances so I don’t have a favorite, but I really loved listening to the review and hearing how this fragrance smells like a chocolate cake Soaked in rum.

  • Sebastian brings these fragrances to life. This offering just sounds scrumptious Thanks for this great opportunity!

  • Sebastian keeps talking about this fragrance. I really want to try it now.
The only patchouli heavy fragrance I know is Coromandel.
    Awesome review

  • Ambery patchouli and boozy chocolate cake, Sebastian has described it so interesting that now, although I don’t think I smelled anything from the house, I will go look for it! Ot was also interesting for me to find out about Jovoy concept and history and I will surely look for a chance to try the creations of this house.

    I live in EU

  • Love Sebastian’s review, usually not a big patchouli fan, but he got me interested in this one!! Living in the EU

  • As usual, I loved how Sebastian described the layers to this fragrance, from patchouli to chocolate; from one to another!
I do not have any Jovoy fragrances but I hope to try it out by winning! 🙂
I am from New York, USA.

  • I was thrilled by Sebastian calling Psychedelique his favorite 2019 winter niche. That says something!

I found the composition to be very balanced, with warm and cool notes, still staying true to the patchouli, according to Sebastian’s description. I am also glad it features vanilla, which mellows and rounds it all up. The fact this perfume is described as earthy and chocolatey sounds very promising.
I would love to try this and it would be my first Jovoy. Thanks for the review and draw.

  • I had the chance to sample this and liked it. I picked up the patchouli and a boozy chocolate scent. This is one of Sebastian’s favourites. Thanks for the giveaway, Ca

  • Monica Beaton says:

Another wonderful Sebastian review – a review based on incredible knowledge and great taste – and always honest. I know Sebastian’s reviews can always be trusted and never biased. My favourite Jovoy Paris scent is Poudre – feminine floral softness with just enough heft to make itself heard. I live in Australia.

  • I really enjoy his reviews, they are always very informative and straight to the point. Thanks to him, I’ve discovered so many amazing perfumes. Patchouli is one of my favourite notes too and I’m eager to try this perfume, since he has an excellent taste. Thank you for the opportunity to try Jovoy!
    Germany

  • This sounds so good in Sebastian’s words. I would love to try a true, earthy patchouli perfume. I liked the fact it’s said to turn ambery during its evolution, cause I love the amber note. I have never tried other Jovoys and I’d be happy if this one were my first.

  • I am new to ÇaFleureBon but i am long time follower of sebastian and i heard him talk about Psychedelique in previous videos. I would love to try it becouse i know the quality of jovoy is outstanding.

  • Doron hoffman says:

Thanks for yet another detailed review, Sebastian.
Psychedelic sounds soo interesting…..cant wait to try it out.
    Finger crossed from Israel

  • Sebastian always makes quality videos and he made me aware of Jovoy (in his previous top lists) which I happened to have a boutique in London and when I went there and tried Psychedelique I instantly fell in love with it, and used up my sample the gave me. This is on my shortlisted perfumes for sure and everybody should try this even if you think you are not really into Patchouli because this might change your opinion about it 🙂

  • This is a really good patch fragrance. I own a couple bottles of Javoy because of Sebastian. Great review! Thanks for the draw. US.

  • The description of a big, bold, retro patchouli speaks to me since patch is one of my favorite notes. I haven’t had the opportunity to try anything by this house, but I wold love to. Sebastian’s descriptions always capture scents in succinct and incisive language. I’d love to try this “king of patchoulies” in Sebastian’s words. I’m in the US.

  • What I loved most about Sebastians review was you can feel the love he has for the fragrance , being his favourite Patchouli after all.

I’ve not tried anything from jovoy yet so it was incredibly helpful to learn more about it from him.

I’ll be in Paris next year and have made their store a must see while I’m there.

    From Ireland.

  • Really fascinated review! I’ll fall in love with that mix of hearty, woody and aromatic notes; than over the top the boss: a ambery patchouli unique and overwhelming.
    I am won and convinced.
Two Jovoy fragrances into my scents favorites list: Incident diplomatique and Private label.
    I live in EU.

  • I have seen many of sebastians reviews. I have chosen many of my newly acquired fragrances due to his recommendations. All of which have greatly satisfied me. Not long ago I realized I was a patchouli lover. I love all patchouli heavy fragrance and have acquired many samples, ranging from designer to niche. I’m not yet decided on what to invest. So turn to Sebastian once again. I’m keen to follow his counsel now. When my budget allows I plan to psychedelic to my armoire of fragrances. It sound so sexy. Dark. Enthralling. Hypnotic almost and it all sounds so fitting to the name Jovita decided to place on this fragrance. I give my thanks to Sebastian for providing yet another great recommendation. I say so even without testing what psychedelic may actually evoke in me. So far every number 1 list Sebastian puts out become my number 1. We are like minded.

  • I love patchouli fragrances so much and I would like to say thank you Sébastien for introducing us to new things and sites and use your time and efforts to make all these nice videos for us, Sébastien and I have very much smiller taste of perfumes maybe we both grew up in the middle east. (am based in Dubai)

  • Sebastian does the greatest reviews, including this one on patchouli based perfumes. Please Jovoy, allow me the opportunity of appreciating and falling in love with patchouli fragrances with your giveaway. Thanks so much.

Would be incredible to win this fragrance as am a huge patchouli lover. This combo of patchouli, chocolate, vanilla, and rum sounds heavenly. There are so many fragrances that use patchouli as a base note but to have one that features it front and center in such a superb fashion is the exception. Thank you for this giveaway!

  • I’ve been watching Sebastian’s videos for a while now, and i discovered many fragrances many of which are now my absolute favorites.

  • Sebastian mentioned Jovoy’s collection many, many times, Psychedelique included, so much that I’ve put their Paris boutique on my “mandatory visit” list! I love my patchouli and also love to make and devour a chocolate & rum cake so it’s not hard to understand where he got me hookd on wanting to sniff this one! Hugs, from Romania 🙂

  • Now I want to try this patchouli offering, esp if this is number one on a top twenty list of patchouli led fragrances. US

  • Another stellar review from Sebastian quite a statement from Sebastian that this fragrance is the king of patchouli considering the huge plethora of fragrances has in his collection. I am loving the Patchouli, Chocolate and boozy notes. Thanks a lot from UK

  • Patchouli is probably my favourite note in perfumery intriguing combination of Patchouli, Boozy and Chocolate notes. If Sebastian says this is the king of Patchouli who am I to disagree. Cheers a lot from UK

  • Great review.
    Psychedelique is a beast.
    Lasts fof hours.
    My favorite from JOVOY is
    Incident diplomatic

  • I have never had a chance to try anything from this brand. But from Sebastian’s review it sounds so special and great. Thank you for the chance. I live in Europe.

  • Hikmat Sher Afridi says:

No doubt Jovoy creates beautiful and appealing fragrances. Patchouli is one of my favorite notes in perfumery. This earthy, dark, ambery, boozy is to die for. Thanks for the review & full bottle give away. Count me in, please.

  • BunnyEatWorld says:

I enjoy how Sebastian describes the scent in familiar, easily understood terms, like how he describes the “chocolate cakey” aspects of the patchouli.

  • Sebastian has been raving about Psychedelique for a while, and rightly so. Thanks to his recommendation a while back, I sampled it at Scent Bar NYC and loved it. Outstanding fragrance and definitely my favorite Jovoy. VA, USA.

  • fleurdetilleul says:

I love patchouli in fragrances! My favourite fragrances have it, whether it’s a designer or a niche perfume. My favourite so far has been Cartier’s L’Heure Defendue. I love that earthy patchouli mixed with powdery iris and cocoa. Makes for a very exquisite scent, in my opinion. Jovoy’s Psychedelique makes me especially curious because of it’s boozy tones on top of everything else, so I’d love to own it! I live in the EU. Thank you very much!

  • Sebastian is the best describing fragances and I’m a patchouli lover as well, so I will love to try Jovoy Paris Psychedelique!!! ♥♥♥

  • Love Sebastian’s reviews. I love patchouli and Jovoy’s fragrances in general. I like that this one is big and powerful but has some amber and sweetness to round out the pungent patchouli. Would enjoy winning this one. My favorite from them is Incident Diplomatic. Thanks for the draw in the USA.

  • Love to try this brand. i love dark rich perfumes and love Patchouli. Sebastin is my fav youtube reviewer.

  • Sebastian is great, and I too am a huge patchouli lover, so I really want to try this. My favorite Joya scent is Foxglove. I feel powerful and witchy when I wear it.

  • I enjoy listening to his reviews for his passion for fragrances, especially patchouli. Plus the fact that covers a lot topics that is very informative, for example, side by side comparison, top lists, specific note lists etc. – top jovoy’s I have sampled are psychedelique, incident diplomatique, and remember. Greeting from Copenhagen, Denmark.

  • From watching all of Sebastian’s reviews, I know he love’s Patchouli! So do I and I love Psychedelique! Thank you for the chance to win. USA It’s my favorite from Jovoy.

  • Enjoyed Sebastians review, as always. Love the detail he goes into explaining the notes of the fragrance and how they develop. Excited to try this brand, as I have not yet.

  • Boozy chocolate cake? You hit the nail in the head Sebastian, BIG TIME 😉 Pastry Chef in me is smiling.
The base of Psychedelique reminded me of the smell of Dark Chocolate Whiskey Cake I do in my bakery once a week.
About Jovoy I know one . Bought a sample of Incident Diplomatique because of… again Sebastian praising it all the time. Classy fragrance for special occasions. My girlfriend , and hopefully future wife bought me a bottle soon after 🙂
Appreciate the review, and the giveaway campaign. USA

  • Thanks for this world wide giveaway.
What I liked most was the short review hehe, and his style of review of course.
I have not sampled all the Jovoy perfumes but I liked Incident Diplomatique the most.
    Thanks again.

  • Great review. I loved the way he broker down the notes and described the perfume throughout its evolution, from the Earthy opening, to the Amber and chocolate undertone. I have not smelled any other Jovoy fragrance before. Thanks for the chance!

  • Mirosław Florek says:

Sebastian is my favorite reviewer and I have bought my first Jovoy perfume after watching his review of Incident Diplomatique. I have found this perfume the best from the entire line. Patchouli is also high in my ranking.

  • I like it when a reviewer shows their passion for the fragrance they’re talking about, or for a certain note. That’s why we are into perfumes: it’s an irrational and almost surreal pleasure. I enjoyed seeing Sebastian talking about patchouli so passionately, that’s how I know that Psychedelique must be really good 🙂
I’ve only tried Touche Finale by Jovoy, it’s exquisite.

Thank you for the draw. Russia

  • I would loooooove to get my nose on this. I love how Sebastian describes the different ways patchouli comes off in this fragrances – specifically how it is very chocolate cakey in Psychedelique!

  • I watched some of Sebastians videos and like his charming person a lot. I have tried the Psychedelique and its one of the patchoulis i can imagine to wear. I never had the chance to test the other Jovoys, but it seems to be an interesting perfume house.

  • Never tried the brand before. Sebastian made me curious about the fragrance because well, it’s his favourite, and he has a lot of experience, so it must be special!

    I am from Finland, EU.

  • Steliyan Syarov says:

If this is Sebastian’s favourite patchouli fragrance, then It is a must try. Love that this one has a chocolate vibe. I will totally rock it. Greetings from Austria!

  • Thank to Sebastian I have this on my radar for a while, he kept mentioning it. Never got the chance to test it but it’s on my shortlist and I would be delighted to have a bottle. Thanks for the chance! Stef, EU

  • I already know this fragrance from the Smelling great channel, but this video sparked my curiosity even more. I really enjoy patchouli and the combination with vanilla is probably fantastic, but the main reason that draws me into this fragrance is the name… I love psychedelic things (pictures, music, places and even substances I’m a psychonaut and psychedelic fragrance sounds reeeealy interesting for me. Sadly in Bulgaria i couldn’t find it yet.

  • Sebastian is my favorite fragrance reviewer on YouTube. He has made me part with more of my hard earned cash than any man alive, lol. I’ve blind purchased half a dozen full bottles of juice according to his opinions, and have never been disappointed. I’ve enjoyed Jovoy samples purchased on Ebay, starting with Ambre Premier and Private Label. So far, Ambre Premier is my favorite of ALL perfumes. There is an elusive sweet note that registers high up in my sinuses that makes me walk around with my nose in the air trying to chase it, capture it, and make it MINE.
I used to hate patchouli-it gave me headaches when I was young, that head shop stuff did not agree with me. This ended with Reminisence Patchouli(thanks, Sebastian and Dahlya!). I really like it now, and would love to experience Jovoy’s Psychedelique, especially because Sebastian and Dahlya give it such rave reviews. I might become a Patch Ho, too!

  • Sunny Chaudhary says:

I love Sebastian and blind buy most of the fragrances which he likes so what I love about this video is the bold declaration of saying this is his favorite patchouli fragrance!

Wow, this one must be pretty special to claim that title.

I have not tried this house or this fragrance yet, but I know Jovoy makes quality stuff as people talks alot about it.

I follow all of your page on insta and facebook and youtube!

    Thanks for the opportunity.

  • Hassan Alnasser says:

I am in love with Jovoy Perfumes, my favorite one is this one actually along with Incident Diplomatique.

I became Jovoy lover because of Sebastian,
He always gives such a great review and top 20 lists.

I wish to win, I am looking forward to add this beast to my collection.

  • Sebastian’s passionate reviews inspired me to check out your store the other day. I moved to Paris only 4 month ago and I’m thrilled about the variety of niche houses available there. Simply exquisite & lovely service with generous sampling. As of now I enjoy wearing Jovoy’s ‘Private Label’ but Psychédélique sounds like the perfect choice for winter. I’m intrigued!
    Will be back soon.

  • ImmI like this review from Sebastian,
Have not tried any of Jovoy perfumes,
    But this looks beast !!

I would love to win this gorgeous scent.

  • I do like a rich, warm patchouli for colder weather, The Psychedelique name is a nice throwback to the 1960s, a great decade for patch fragrances. Nice review Sebastian. This would be my first Jovoy Paris perfume. I’m in the US

  • Elzara Turakulova says:

Very thorough review. I was looking at this perfume and Sebastian did a great job breaking down this perfume. As always great job!

  • I love Sebastian’s enthusiasm with all his reviews, but his love of Patchouli really comes through — and “boozy chocolate cake” “long-lasting”? Sign me up! I’m not familiar with any Jovoy fragrance, but this one sounds like something I’d like to eat right up (it’s his fave Patch, after all)! Thanks, Sebastian, and Cafleurebon. I live in Seattle, USA, and happy hols!

  • Great review from Sebastian as always. I’ve never had the chance to test anything from Jovoy’s house but i appreciate a lot a good patchouli blend and listening to Sebastian’s review, this has to be a fantastic one. Thanks for the generous giveaway, i am in the EU.

  • Up until recently, I was not aware of Jovoy fragrances. Checked them out, and boy oh boy I was so wrong with my “Maybe later” policy towards the house.
Remember Me is in my possession now, green tea, warm, spicy and lactonic. Must try fragrance ! My favorite .
The complexity of Psychedelique intrigues me. From earthy green patchouli, to chocolate and vanilla , splendid !
Thank you Sebastian for the review, and Jovoy for the draw.

  • Very good review. Sebastian has good taste and is honest. I like the way he describes the fragrances, even gourmand notes. I never tested any Jovoy fragrance, but Psychedelique would be interesting.
    Thank you for the draw.

  • If Sebastian is head over heels for Psychedelique, then you know it’s a great fragrance. I find that I really love patchouli, but I’ve never experienced its more gourmand, chocolatey facets. The way that Sebastian describes it makes one want to take a bit of this sumptuous, decadent treat. I’ve always wanted to try this one, as the only other Jovoy fragrance I’ve sniffed is Incident Diplomatique, which I also liked. Thanks Sebastian and Cafleurebon for hosting this giveaway and much appreciation to Jovoy Paris for their generosity! I’m in Oregon, USA.

  • Always enjoy Sebastians reviews! I learn something new every time on his channel. I like the house of Jovoy, their perfumes are very potent and interesting, and very different as well. Love Psychedelique by Jovoy, tested at the store recently. Would enjoy this scent in the wintertime so much!
    Latvia, Riga

  • As usuual, I’m sure that Sebastian has done a great review. I have a backlog of his videos to catch up on, thanks to that video about his fragrance journey.

The patchouli in this sounds so enticing.

haven’t smelt a Jovoy fragrance before.

Sebastian, great review Jovoy Paris Psychedelique. Sounds like a beautiful chocolate patchouli fragrance with a nice base of amber, musk, and vanilla. My favorite Jovoy fragrance I have tried is Pavillon Rouge. I am from the USA.

  • thefatbaby614 says:

I love all of Sebastian’s reviews, especially the focused reviews. I do not have a favorite Jovoy fragrance as I have not had the pleasure of trying any, but winning a tester will be sure to open the door for me to this house!

  • Sebastian is very articulate and very precise in the way he describes a fragrance. He’s very passionate about what he does and excels in every review he does. I love the Jovoy house and would be very happy to own the wonderful beloved Psychedilique froM this house

  • Jovoy Paris is by far the best fragrance boutique i’ve ever been to-no US boutique comes even close .
According to Sebastian Psychedelique picks up the best from different era’s. Woodstock inspired, earthy-green and then goes into modern chocolaty semi gourmand.
Psychedelique is one of the few Jovoy fragrances I have not smelled.
Favorite Jovoy is Remember Me , but i do not own it yet . I have Incident Diplomatique and 30ml decant of Private Label- every patchouli lover should get a sample .
    Thanks for this fantastic opportunity.

  • I’m both in awe and envious about the way people like Sebastian are able to decipher fragrances and then, to masterfully explain them for us, mortals :). It makes it understandable, accessible and almost…smellable.
I will definitely go and test it, as I’m always curious to try and feel it as he does.

  • Thank you for explaining the notes and how they play with one another! Sebastian always has a hint of whimsy to his reviews. I’ve never smelled a scent ftom Jovoy, but would like to experience this ones patchouli explosion

  • In basketball Michael Jordan is wildly considered to be the GOAT , greatest of all time.
In our beloved fragrance world, Jovoy Paris is what Michael Jordan is to NBA, the epitome of niche fragrances knowledge, and service like no other.
Psychedelique Is shapeshifting fragrance you should always try first. The opening is completely different from the base. I do have a sweet tooth, and chocolate spread I get in the base I love.
From Jovoy as a brand i do own full bottle of the famous Les Jeux sont Faits – fantastic night out scents. One of the best out there-to me at least.Remember Me i also own.
    @cafleurebon , @lookfeelsmellgreat @jovoyparis i already follow . I also follow the other 2 Jovoy boutiques I’ve been to.

  • I always enjoy Sebastian’s love of patchouli. I didn’t know Jovoy was in London. I’m sorry I missed them on my trip there four years ago. I still have to get to Paris, especially since my birthday is Bastille Day! I think Poudre is my fave.I’m in USA.

  • What I liked about his review is when he said giveaway opened to everyone at the end. More seriously what I liked is the fact that he made me discover a new house which I would not have by myself. Thanks.

  • I stumbled upon the brand Jovoy through Sebastians comments on Incident Diplomatique. This review of Psychedelique puts it above any other Patchouli based fragrance as Sebastian said he was overwhelmed by the Jovoy fragrances he smelled at the Paris boutique. Psychedelique turns out to be Sebastians best winter fragrance for 2019 given its big and bold ambery, chocolate cookie
patchouli scent. Patchouli takes centre stage in this frag although citruses ,labdanum and vanillic touches add to the overall composition. Sebastians taste is impeccable and so Psychedelique which harkens to the hippie 60s is a must try and must have above and beyond any other patchouli dominant fragrance.

  • I don’t know why I have failed to test this one, my local shop does carry it. I adore patchouli. I wasn’t aware labdanum makes a fragrance amber feel. I don’t know a lot about amber fragrances. The chocolate is interesting in it which I do enjoy. I’d love to try this. I like “Remember Me” best from this line. Thanks Sebastian!! USA

  • I liked the fact the Sebastian described the fragrance in detail, giving an overall idea about what the scent is like. Very to the point and professional. I love patchouli in cooler weather, so Psychedelique sounds great. I have never smelled Jovoy Fragrances, but Sebastian made me very interested to try them. Thanks, Sebastian and CaFleureBon. I really enjoyed Sebastians review as always. I trust his opinions and taste. My favorite Jovoy fragrance is Remember Me. Thank you!

  • I feel like Psychedelique is cozy and warm winter scent.
Les Jeux Sont Faits is my favorite Jovoy. Underrated tobacco and rum gem I’m happy to have. Thank you
USA most of the year, and Germany from time to time

  • Great review as always, I tend to stay in the comfort zone of what I know best, but Sebastian has persuaded me to look into Patchouli a bit more. Favorite Jovoy — perhaps this one? I’ve so far only been hearing about them, no direct experience yet. Greetings from Croatia!

  • Carlo Alarcon says:

I always enjoy comments by Sebastian; I learn from him what to buy. Great review over Psychedelique. I would like to buy also Incident Dyplomatique. Greetings from Mexico.

  • I enjoyed the historical context Sebastian offered around the choice of “Psychedelique” as the name of this patchouli scent. I’m also fascinated by the chocolate-y notes Sebastian is detecting here, and I’d love to get a sense of that combination. I have not yet tried any Jovoy fragrances but would be excited to test this one. Thank you.

I own Incident Diplomatique, Psychedique and Remember me from Jovoy thanks to Sebatian. He led me to search for these fragrances and after watching his Pschedelique review I realized that my bottle of Psychedelique is practically finished. I love that scent, I feel like its a large chocalate cake with a short of booze. I look forward to winter so I can utilize this fragrance.

  • I like the sound of chocolate cake. I think patchouli and chocolate go very nicely together. I also enjoy very strong fragrances (even if those around me don’t). I definitely want to try Psychedelique and other offerings from this brand. From Canada, thanks for the draw!

  • Love his reviews always straigt to the point and very detailed. I’ve never tried any of the Jovoy fragrances so I don’t have a favorite yet but would love to try this as I love patchouli

Les Jeux sont Faits Jovoy is the best Jovoy in my opinion. There is hefty dose of tobacco, my favorite fragrance note , it’s also sweet and there’s rum. My Christmas and New Years Eve fragrance for the past 3 years.
Psychedelique with chocolate and also moderate dose of booze I’m drawn also to. I’ll check it out.
    Thank you
Happy Holidays, and good luck to all.

Sebastian’s reviews are my first go to reviews when I’m looking for something new. I really love patchouli and I hope to try Jovoy’s take on patchouli this season.

  • Smokey amber and patchouli, but mainly what I loved hearing most is when Sebastian said it is like wearing a bozzy chocolate cake. I love sweet fragrances and patchouli so this sounds like a dream!

Ive never tried anything from this house, thank you for the giveaway, and happy holidays!

I’m in the united States, NC

  • Earthy patchouli, lots of amber and quality vanilla that sweetness up the fragrance? Pinch of booziness is always appreciated. I have not yet tried Jovoy fragrances, but make sure I’ll get a few samples . Thanks for the opportunity. USA

  • Another excellent review by Sebastian and I loved his explanation of how the patchouli is the featured note in this as well as the chocolate! I am a huge fan of earthy patchouli and this one sounds like one I need to try. All of the fragrances that I have tried based on Sebastian’s reviews have been stellar. Thanks for the giveaway and I live in the US!

  • bassplayer7770 says:

The first thing I enjoyed about the review is the fact that I love patchouli in fragrances, and so does my wife! I have a few patchouli heavy fragrances already in my collection. I have sampled and enjoyed Psychedelique. I’ve sampled a couple others as well, and this house has never disappointed. Incident Diplomatique and Papillon Rouge are also quite good.

  • OMG, I loved Sebastian’s review!! I LOVE chocolate patchouli!! I’ve actually never tried any Jovoy fragrances before so I’d be so happy to add this one to my collection.
    I live in the USA.

  • Quality review as usual by Sebastian. Great to see him collaborate with brands that can do international giveaways. A little Christmas cheer for his international subscribers.

  • You know when Sebastian is so into a brand that it must be good. That’s what got me into Frédéric Malle and that’s also why Jovoy is the next brand on my list to try, beginning with Psychedelique 🙂

  • Being an old flower child I have a special appreciation for patchouli, not to mention anything resembling a name close to PSYCHEDELIC.
Sebastian lured me in with his description of this being a big, bold statement. Jovoy is legend.
