Top ten Xerjoff for fall 2021

Top Ten Xerjoff Fall 2021 photo by Steven

“Xerjoff started in 2004 as an extension to a design business I owned. Xerjoff is all about NATURE and ITALIAN CRAFTMANSHIP. The intent of Xerjoff was to use the best of what the world and nature has provided us and combine this with what man can achieve. Italians have for all of history, taken pride in craftsmanship”- Sergio Momo, founder of Xerjoff, Casamorati and Kemi Blending Magic) from my 2011 Interview.

At the time I wrote to Sergio Momo, Xerjoff was relatively unknown in the USA. Today, Xerjoff is among the most prestigious niche brands in the world. In Steven Gavrielatos’ CaFleureBon Contributor video he chooses his Top Ten Xerjoff Fall 2021 that easily transition from Summer to Autumn. –Michelyn Camen, Editor-in-Chief

Xerjoff Dhajala is an exquisite blend of African orange flower and citrus. The galbanum resin is noticeably verdant, and it contributes to the organic freshness of the blend. Resins and vanilla resting in the base are exotic and long-lasting.

Xerjoff Alexandria II is a medley of spice and woods, which include cinnamon, agarwood, Palisander rosewood, and sandalwood. Note: Sergio Momo:”Sandalwood plays an important role in my scents. I source the best sandalwood from Mysore to provide the rich base notes of many of my scents”.

Xerjoff More Than Words review

Xerjoff More Than Words is an explosion of fruits and labdanum. There is a balsamic richness here and the agarwood residing is magnificent.

Xerjoff Apollonia review

Xerjoff Apollonia (from the Shooting Stars collection) launched in 2019 commemorates the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11, the spaceflight that first landed humans on the Moon on July 20, 1969. Apollonia uses high quality iris that swirls throughout the atmosphere and floats on clouds of white florals and musk.

Xerjoff Erba Pura is a masterful composition bearing a cocktail of fruits and amber. Vanilla from Madagascar in the base is warm and sensual.

Xerjoff Ouverture is an exploration into the duality of spice and flowers. Rose is sensual while ylang-ylang creates the exotic aura. Cinnamon gently spices the blend while incense and vanilla create an enigmatic aura in the fragrance’s conclusion.

Xerjoff Dhajala, Al-Khatt Uden Overdose, Mamluk, Apollonia reviews

Counterwise: Xerjoff Mamluk (original 2012 bottle), Apollonia in the middle,  Dhajala, Uden Overdose, Al-Khatt (2012 original bottle)

Xerjoff (Casamorati 1888) Mefisto Gentiluomo is a refreshing blend of citrus and florals. The rose and violet are smooth while the effervescence of the citrus fruits will keep you energized for many hours. This Top Ten Xerjoff Fall 2021 scent is great for late August and early September.

Xerjoff Mamluk is a gourmand oud with a caramel accord that smells altogether spicy, lactonic, and  slightly sweet. Honey, jasmine and osmanthus  bind all of the fragrant elements together.

Xerjoff Uden Overdose is a marriage of citrus and ginger. Tobacco blossom in the heart lends the blend a refined and elegant quality while the bergamot, ginger, and lemon create an aura of accessibility and familiarity.

Xerjoff Al Khatt review

Photo by Michelyn of Al Khatt in 2021 presentation bottle

Xerjoff Al Khatt is an intensely floral indolic jasmine perfume. Rich and resinous touches of oakmoss and Laotian oud add depth. Al Khatt will take you nicely into cooler weather.

Disclaimer 8 of the 10 Top Ten Xerjoff Fall 2021 fragrances are from Steven’s own collection; Apollonia and Alexandria II testers were given to him. Michelyn received Al Khatt and Alexandria II. Opinions are his own

I really enjoyed the quality of Xerjoff Italica. The review made me very interested in Uden OD. Especially that I love UDEN.

    Kentucky, US

  • Lazaro Broitman says:

I’m a follower on Steven’s Youtube Chanel. I have learned from him not only about the way a perfume has to be selected but the moment to wear it. All the time he refers with respect to Xerjoff, being my favorite Nio. Now, More than Words but especially Mephisto Gentil Uomo have gain my attention and would love to try them

  • Justin Benyola says:

Xerjoff is one of those fragrance houses that is so elegant and classy. All of these fragrances sound absolutely amazing. Erba Purba has been something I’ve been wanting for a while now. Basically it’s a dream fragrance for me to get one day. The combination of fruits and vanilla sound delicious. I’d love to be able to experience the mastery of this perfume. Thank you!

  • joshuabrian says:

If I were to win, I’d have to go with Alexandria II, but I’d be happy with any of course. Xerjoff is a great house! From Indianapolis.

  • I absolutely love Steve’s reviews. I find them to be very informative in a consistent structured presentation. I do not venture into a new fragrance without first learning more about that fragrance via a Redolessence review. This Xerjoff review by Steve is no different. It meets all criteria I desire when learning about a fragrance.
The Xerjoff fragrances I’d like to win, if given the chance would be Alexandria II, Erba Pura, Uden Overdose, Mamluk, and Nio. What a wonderful fragrance house.

  • MJ FragHead says:

Oud or aoud… Can’t go wrong with Xerjoff fragrances!! Haven’t had chance to try many but the few I have, loved em!! Oud stars Xerjoff more than words is what I need in my life LoL fruits and labdanum a balsamic richness & agarwood residing is magnificent… Very intriguing!!! This is definitely a TOP brand in the fragrance community & they take pride in using only the best one can find!! & Yes I would like to see a 2021 winter video of Xerjoff. USA oh thanks for the opportunity & good luck everyone!!!

  • scentastic27 says:

As always steven has a phd on perfumery reviews, he is very knowledgeable and i enjoyed the information provided by him on this video, i love xerjoff and i would love to own a bottle of alexandria ii.

  • MarkMarkMark678 says:

One of my absolute most favorite houses.
In the video I love Stephens detailed and descriptive review of all ten fragrances.

I trust Stephens opinion because he has a wealth of experience and knowledge when it come to fragrances and tells it like it is.
If something smells animalic he’ll let us know, if something has poor performance he’ll point it out.

    This is an amazing giveaway.
I had Alexandria ii but my daughter dropped my bottle the other day and it shattered.

So if I were to win (very unlikely) I would choose in this order:
    Alexandria ii
    Erba Pura
    Overture

Thanks for the chance to win something.

  • Thanks Steven for a wonderful review of your top 10 Xerjoff perfumes. From the reviews, if I were to win this generous draw, I’d like one of Al Khatt, or Mamluk, or More Than Words, or Ouverture, or Alexandria II. Of course they all seem lovely, and the bottles are so beautiful too. I am in USA.

  • My goodness, these all sound so wonderful. Steven’s descriptions are so evocative. And picking only one that I’d like to win is very difficult. I keep going back and forth between the more versatile and the more challenging fragrances. But ultimately, I think I’d go with Ouverture. Thanks for the reviews and the draw! I’m in Oklahoma, USA.

  • Marion Hollingsworth says:

Steven always makes the beat break down of the fragrances. I’d love to be entered in the contest also, Erba Pura and Alexander II sounds amazing!

  • I discovered Steve’s fragrance reviews only a few months ago but he has become one of my favorite reviewers. I am always excited when a new video gets uploaded. His reviews have always been professional and to the point.

Out of the Top 10 Xerjoff Fall 2021 Fragrances, Alexandria II has piqued my interest the most since it has a lot of notes I gravitate towards. I love the idea of an opening of spiced apple, lavender, and rosewood with a base of oud, sandalwood, and musk.

    All the best!
    -SU

  • No Ivory Route?! lol One of my favourites for the autumn. But I actually got a ton of wear from Mefisto Gentiluomo this summer owing to that superb violet leaf freshness. But I love that you included Uden Overdose. Something special, that one. Would love to win it. And More Than Words! A fantastic choice for the fall with that oud. Always been a fan of Steven’s choices too. Tons of experience. He sure knows how to pick ’em. Now whose fed up with this summer heat?? ME!!! USA

  • Was first introduced to Xerjoff 5 years ago through a video Steven posted. My first bottle was Uden and I just was hooked to Xerjoff.
Aside from the beautiful presentation of the bottles to the sophisticated aroma you get from Xerjoff fragrances, we need to have more Xerjoff boutiques here at the USA, they need to have more presence as Xerjoff so consumers can sample. Thank you

  • Mariyan Ivanov says:

I have never tried any of the Xerjoff perfumes but I would like to win Alexandria II. Good luck, everyone.

  • andrewworley says:

I love Steven’s channel, and I always like how he gives credit to the perfumer. I would love to try Alexandria 2! It sounds lovely. Thanks!

  • Ricky Brown says:

I keep hearing great things about this house. I would love to own a bottle of Casamorti Mefisto Gentiluomo. It would be my first bottle into this niche house

  • This was great, what I enjoyed the most about “Best Xerjoff Perfumes Fall 2021” was the attention to detail when describing each fragrance and the addition of recommended season to use and if it’s long lasting. I really enjoy Steven’s reviews, trying to communicate how a fragrance smells can be difficult, “especially if they are well blended” and Steven always describes the fragrance in such a way that you can practically imagine how the fragrance would smell.
What fragrance would I like to win? I would enjoy any fragrance from this list. Some I would like are Uden Overdose, Shooting Stars Apollonia, Erba Pura, Mefisto Gentiluomo, or Nio. “Anything fresh for the summer would be great”
    – It would be great to see a Xerjoff Winter 2021 Video. Hopefully XJ 1861 Naxos makes the list .

Which of the ten are my favorite?
    – I really enjoy Erba Pura and Alexandria II

  • I think I would like to win Xerjoff Erba Pura as I like the citrus fragrances,
another would be Xerjoff Uden Overdose and Xerjoff (Casamorati 1888) Mefisto Gentiluomo! To be honest I have never tried your products, but on Steven’s reviews they sound outstanding! Look forward to seeing who the winner will be, hopefully me! Whoever wins will be a very lucky individual.

  • Renata Campello says:

I’m so excited about this that I’m afraid I can’t solve the math problem the site requires, haha. Well, I love how passionately Steven describes fragrances, and I absolutely love Xerjoff. I own Naxos and would love to win any perfume by the brand, perhaps Apollonia would be my number 1 choice considering the notes (white florals + iris!) and the stunning bottle. Thanks for the opportunity! Cheers, Renata

  • Excellent video by Steven, as always! ❤️
Yes, a Best of Xerjoff Winter frags 2021 would be great! Of the ten in this video, I’ve only experienced Mamluk, Uden, & Al Khatt. I love all 3! I really enjoyed Steven’s descriptions & breakdowns of the notes in the fragrances. It is helpful to smell one then compare notes (especially if the other person is an amazing profession with tons of experience). I am a Redolessence subscriber. I would love to win Al Khatt or Apollonia. Steven is dead-on, the realistic (indolic) jasmine is like smelling live jasmine in the bright sun on a hot day. We have real jasmine growing in our yard each summer and this is the scent. Thank you for this amazing opportunity! ❤️

  • foxesandfigs says:

I have always wanted to try Xerjoff but haven’t had the chance. I was recommended Nio, Alexandria and Lira.

Overture, Mamluk and Erba Pura also look great!

    USA

  • My favorite videos from Steven are the ones where he highlights specific houses and this one is exceptional. You can tell from how emotive and expressive he is that he’s a big fan of Xerjoff. As am I. I would be happy to win any of these, but if I had to pick a few, this would be the order:

    Alexandria II
    Oerverture
    More Than Words
    Uden Overdose
    Mefisto Gentiluomo
    Erba Pura

  • Steven had me at Iris with Apollonia. A close second would be Overture. Good luck to all thank you cafleurbon and Steven for this giveaway possibility. Cheers!

  • rachel wiener says:

I appreciate Steven’s curated list as I haven’t explored this house yet and there are so many! Since dirty Jasmine is my jam I would have to pick Al Khat. Thank you for the draw. In Brooklyn,NY US.

  • I enjoyed reading about the quality of Italian craftsmanship and how it is incorporatedI’m Xerjoff fragrances. Reminds me of an exotic Italian automobile. I would love to win Xerjoff Erba Pura

  • I like the detailed descriptions of your scents, many sound interesting, but I am most interested in Uden Overdose. I am a fragrance enthusiast, but I have yet to sample a Xerjoff offering. I hope to soon.

  • From Steven’s review, the Xerjoffs that intrigue me are Uden, Alexandria II, and Overture. However, my choice for this draw would be Mamluk because it is animalic gourmand vibe is not something I have experienced in many fragrances. I am in US.

  • Creators of stunning fragrances that must be experienced, this house has to be one of the finest niche brands in the world. Who else is still using Mysore sandalwood nowadays? Would like to win Alexandria II. VA, USA

  • Jmmcmenamin says:

Xerjoff is one of my favorite fragrance houses! I love Erba Pura, Italica and La Capitale!
I really enjoy the reviews that talk about several different scents from a fragrance house. It’s nice to see if there’s a common note the perfumer uses or if they’re all very different from one another.
I would want Erba Pura if my name is drawn.
    In Louisiana USA.

  • Florian Stroie says:

I have and cherish Uden and would love nothing more than to continue that journey with the Overdose! Thank you for this raffle!

  • Each Xerjoff perfume sounds perfect for fall. I love how in depth Steven goes and reading that interview with Sergio Momo was very interesting because he talks about key ingredients still used. Alexandria II or More than Words appeal to me .

  • Kazi Kinara says:

Hey! I enjoyed how diverse the fall picks were this year for fall. A lot of them were very versatile and easy to wear making them super enjoyable experiences. I also really take influence by how beautiful the Xerjoff bottles look together and out of all the ten picks I’m most drawn to is Alexandria II the spicy, sweet, woodsy profile is right in my direction. Thank you for reading and hope I win

  • Allison Smith says:

I really love Apollonia, Mamluk, and Ouverture, but I’m looking forward to trying some that I haven’t tried especially Uden Overdose! This list is incredibly helpful. Their line up is quite large and sometimes you don’t know where to start. I would love a winter 2021 list. Xerjoff fragrances are usually beast mode and can cut through the dry air. Out of all these, Ouverture is my absolute favorite and I would love to win a bottle!

Thank you Europerfumes for the opportunity!

  • ScentedSojourner says:

I really enjoyed the list and Xerjoff is a very intriguing house in general. The scent that most piques my interest is More than Words. It sounds absolutely opulent. I’ve tried some renditions of that DNA but have never smelled the renowned Xerjoff creation. Close second in my interest is a tie between Uden Overdose and Mefisto Gentiloumo

  • I enjoyed how descriptive the fragrance notes are explained when being described, Mefisto Gentiluomo description of being a summer fragrance is why its my choice to win!

  • I do not own any xerjoff perfume but I enjoy reading about them all. I would love to try to Alexander ll and more from this house.

  • Steven’s top 10 is a solid list. I appreciate the diverse range of scent profiles, all while not listing every usual “overhyped” ones which I typically see reviewed on YouTube. If I’m fortunate enough to catch lightning in a bottle.. and win this giveaway, I’d choose Uden Overdose.

I always enjoy watching Steven’s reviews; he is absolutely a cut above the rest in his lane. All of the fragrances Steven mentioned sound amazing but the ones that really intrigued me were Dhajala, More Than Words, and Erba Pura.

I love to see Dhajala getting some love here! That fragrance is such an underrated gem. I would choose Mamluk because of Steven’s description of it veering into gourmand category without being sugary sweet. The fact that he refers to it as abundantly perfect really makes me want to try this one! I love the way Xerjoff does oud and this sounds lovely with the oud in the background. Thanks for the draw! From the US.

  • coolhanderik says:

What I enjoyed best was getting an insight into Xerjoff, I know very little about the house and have not smelled any scents by them. And I would love to win Erba Pura! Love fruit heavy scents and it sounds right up my alley!

  • rayleigh888 says:

Excellent review, all Xerjoff fragrances are really amazing and this is one of my favorite niche houses!!! I’d love to be able to experience some of this espectacular fragrances like Alexandria II, More Than Words, Mefisto Gentiluomo and Apollonia! Thank you

  • Jacob Rodriguez says:

It amazes me how descriptive and articulate Steven is in his videos and this one is no exception. I’m most interested in Uden Overdose and Mefisto Gentiluomo. But, having to win only one, I’ll take Mefisto Gentiluomo. Thanks for the giveaway, Steven!

  • Dawid Lewandowski says:

Recently I have tried Alexandria II, got me very impressed and looking forward to try all their fragrances.. :]
If i could win one it would be Alexandria II

  • Xerjoff is an awesome house and I appreciate Steven giving such a wide variety in his lineup. For me, I love the oud stars line and probably wear them when I shouldn’t. Mamluk is one I’ve been meaning to add. Such a great boozy honey fragrance. Thank you for the chance to win, from Idaho USA

  • Hello! I would love to win Xerjoff Alexandria II. I absolutely loved how well detailed each fragrance is and really draws me in with each note description.

  • Thank you for the review and the intro. I was curious to hear Steve’s take on More Than Words which is one of my favorites from the house but which is so boisterously lovely that normally just one spray is enough for me just as Steve mentioned (I’d never loved a fragrance this strong before encountering More than Words) 🙂 I’ve heard great things about Dhajala and Al Khatt but haven’t tried the two yet. I also love Mefisto Gentiluomo as well as Naxos which I was sad to find missing from the list though it did get a mention in the video. I’d be super stoked to win any of the following:-

    1. Alexandria II
    2. Dhajala
    3. Ouverture
    4. Apollonia
    5. Erba Pura

Thank you Europerfumes for the really kind giveaway. I’m in USA

  • Benji Wells says:

I really love the notes of Apollonia as well as the the bottle’s homage to the moon landing. If I have to pick just one from this list then it would have to be Apollonia, with Uden OD following in a close second.

  • I’ve sampled a few of Xerjoff’s fragrances, my favorites being Italica and Ouverture. Love how they are so well blended. Ouverture especially feels so smooth, warm, and fuzzy to me (like the bottle!) and is definitely my favorite. The longevity of this brand is always stunning.

  • Jason Schafer says:

I would love so many! I’m particularly interested in: Alexandra II, Uden Overdose, or Mamluk.

  • Steven really makes the rich gourmand notes sound so good. I knew xerjoff had a lot of good scents but he made them all sound so appealing
I would love to win alexandria 2, erba pura, Mefisto Gentiluomo or uden overdose. Would love a winter breakdown for xerjoff.

  • What amazing choices! Really love Michelyn and Steven descriptions.
Love Oud stars collection- especially Alexandria 2 – what a mazing scent !!! Love Mefisto, Lira, Italyca!
Xerjoff is my favorite niche brand.
I would like to win Alexandria 2 or Apollonia.
    USA

  • I appreciate how well Steven describes fragrances. Also how open and candid he is from mentioning his first purchase to his favorite. Should I be so lucky I would love to win Apollonia. Though Alexandria II, Ouverture, and Uden Overdose have greatly caught my attention. Thanks take care and good luck.

  • Martin Cuevas says:

Amazing review for one amazing brand. I would like to tried every one but the one i like the most is more than words. I’m truly a lover for spices and fruits scents so i really think i love to win that one

  • What a great draw and wonderfully detailed reviews from Steven. I would love to have Xerjoff Apollonia because I love iris. I’m in MD, USA.

  • One amazing review for an amazing brand. I would love to tried every one on this list, but if a have to choice it has to be more than words, because I’m a huge fan of fruits and spices

  • liquidasset77 says:

I’d love to expand my perfume pallet and venture in to realm of mamluk. Seems challenging and beautiful to own and wear.

Also Overture peaks my interest with the ylang ylang accord prominently featured. I don’t have a reference point from scent memory but it sounds like a grail fragrance.
    Thank you for the consideration.

  • I enjoyed Steven’svideo, I have heard about Xerjoff fragrances but never heard about some of scents mentioned in the video. I loved how he was detailed about the notes and some of the sentimentalness of some of his first Xerjoff purchases, it made me want to explore the offerings from the brand more.I live in the USA.

I would love to try and also win one of these fragrances: More Than Words, Mefisto Gentiluomo, Erba Pura or Uden Overdose

  • Mazikeen Smith 24 says:

Xerjoff is the most intruiging fragrance company in my opinion due to complexity, uniqueness and the luxury in its presentation.
What I enjoyed on the Top Fall Xerjoff Perfumes are More than words, Mamluk, and Alexandria II. I chose these because I love the notes specifically Oud and gourmand notes as mentioned and well explained by Steven. I would love to win any of the three but my heart really likes Alexandria II.

  • I like that Steven included some lesser-hyped offerings from the house in his list, the diversity really helped turn me on to some fragrances from the house that I otherwise may have skipped. I’d like to win Erba Pura, Ouverture, or Alexandria II.

  • What I liked about about Steven’s list is that it’s very well rounded covering various styles, from fresh to gourmand, and everything in between. I also liked that he’s always held the house of Xerjoff in high regard, so this I’m sure all his selection were given careful considerations. There ones that interest me the most are Mamluk, Alexandria II, and More than Words. Great Review!

  • Steven back again with a great curated list! Yes, that’s what I enjoy the most: people who know their thing, do their research and their proper testing of a fragrance before shooting the video, don’t waste the time of the viewers like I see some of other amateur youtubers do.
Thank you Steven for your hard work and your professionalism!

I would love myself a Mamluk and an Apollonia. But at the moment Mamluk is what kicked up my curiosity the most.

  • sephrenia300 says:

Nice review Steven! I particularly enjoyed that he focused on autumn-appropriate fragrances, as that can be a hard category to pin down with the shifting weather, and specifically describes why each fragrance would be a perfect fit for the fall. I also liked the way he described Al Khatt, the one that appeals to me the most, as the most authentic, heady, and animalic jasmine fragrance that he’s ever smelled. In addition, I really enjoyed learning that Al Khatt was the first fragrance he ever purchased!

I would definitely like to see a Xerjoff Winter 2021 Video. The only Xerjoff fragrance I have tried is Xerjoff Dama Bianca, which I very much enjoy. Of these ten fragrances, I don’t have a favorite because I haven’t tried them, but I now have a number I’m very eager to try – particularly Al Khatt, Uden Overdose, and Xerjoff Ouverture. If I were to win though, I would choose Al Khatt for sure. I live in the US.

  • happihappijoijoi says:

Awesome giveaway! I am new to Xerjoff fragrance. So far I have only Lira in my collection, but I got myself a few samples, and of all the ones I’ve tested, I fell in love with the #1 fragrance on the countdown, Alexandria II. It is exactly as he describes it on the video, complex, intriguing, with its spicy and sweet nuances. It is already on my buy list, would be great if I won it, instead! I also love Apollonia, the bottle alone, is gorgeous, and the fragrance, “stunning and intriguing,” and one I would love to add in my collection. I could honestly say I find them all intriguing, even the ones I have not tried, like More than Words, or Mamluk. Thank you so much! <3

  • diegopineda says:

What I enjoyed the most about “Best Xerjoff Perfumes Fall 2021” is the introduction of new and interesting perfumes that I’m eager to try. The perfume I would like to win would be the Xerjoff Mefisto Gentiluomo. Thank you.

  • Xerjoff helped me discover oud! Art in scent. I’d love a bottle of Alexandria, More than words or erba Pura. Thank you!

  • My bf favorite fragrance line Xerjoff… the fall line was very nice & interesting!! I love when my bf wears Xerjoff Italica the sweet almond & very warm & spicy super sexy in my opinion!! I’m thinking either Alexandria ll, more than words & Apollonia sound the most intriguing to me!! If i was the lucky winner it’s between them, wishful thinking!!! Thanks for the opportunity CaFleureBon & the video Redolessence, love it!! Good luck everyone!!!

  • Chris Walker says:

I hear a lot about the house of Xerjoff and I am looking forward to learning more about their collection of fragrances. I am interested in Alexandria II or Alexandria III. I have yet to smell them however the descriptions of the scents have me more than intrigued.

  • What a fun wrap up of Fall Xerjoff fragrances! Stephen is always a joy to watch, he is completely professional and describes perfumes beautifully. I would love to enter this giveaway. I live in the U.S., thank you for the opportunity!

The article is extremely helpful as well in its descriptions. It makes it very easy to see which perfumes might be for me, and which may be better suited for others. I’d love to see a Winter version, and I’ve tried and Mamluk – it’s a luscious one.

The perfumes I’d like to enter for are below:
    Dhajala
    Alexandria II
    Apollonia
    Mamluk

  • Daphnelemon says:

I wasn’t familiar with this YouTuber before, but I like his style! I can really feel his appreciation for the brand as a whole, and its style of perfume. which seems like it leans towards ouds/agar and overall gives an impression of richness and sweetness. I’ve only tried a few samples from Xerjoff myself, but since I was blown away by the deliciousness of Alexandria II when I tried a spritz…its my top choice to win. Can’t resist a good spicy sandalwood based perfume. though I remember More than words was pretty amazing as well when I sampled it in a local perfume shop. The fruity rose there is a really great one. (USA)

  • The thing I enjoyed best was the note breakdowns of each fragrance, I really enjoy when brands have the ability to describe the fragrance in a way that is more interesting than just saying here’s the notes. It’s almost like a little bit of a story to show just how potentially interesting it really is or could be, so I appreciate that from the article. From the video my favorite part is that the performance is described, I’ve had plenty of back and forth reading reviews on performance and nobody can seem to agree, I like that he tells us how it works and also includes his favorite. Out of these fragrances I’m very glad Alexandria II is on this list because I’ve wanted to smell this one forever, so that’s my pick for the one I would love to win, Alexandria II.

  • Xerjoff is my favourite house- so elegant and classy. All of these fragrances sound absolutely amazing.
Thanks Michelyn and Steven for very interesting reviews! I haven’t tryed Apollonia – but it sounds just beautiful! Love flowers, musk and powder! But I woul love to win Alexandria 2- my dream is have in my collection!

  • Zoran Loncarevic says:

Great review from Steven. I am an absolute fan of Xerjoff. Alexandria II I once had a sample and that was love at first snif. Unfortunately I couldn’t afford it until now. If I wanted to win one, it would be Alexandria II. Thanks to Steven. Greetings from Germany.

  • ThatMulattoDude says:

Steven’s one of the best when it comes to giving condensed reviews of fragrances while mixing in scent profiles and his personal history wearing them. Xerjoff is a brand that seems to bring a real craftsmanship aspect to the market and go above and beyond with their presentation. Personally, from the descriptions presented by Michelyn and in the video, I’d be most interested in Alexandria II. I don’t really have anything in my collection with the level of complexity it possesses…really hope to win this one. I would definitely like to see a Xerjoff winter list as I enjoy the darker, more rich scents. Appreciate the opportunity for the giveaway…bless up!

  • Jose Herrera says:

Stephen’s reviews are always very inspiring. I would like to be considered for any of the two.

  • I love the review video that Steven did.
My favorite scents that I’ve decanted are 40knots, Uden, Accento Overdose but I’m hoping to Alexandria II

The combination of spice and woods sounds heavenly during these Fall/Autumn/Winter months! Sounds so cozy and everything Xerjoff produces is a masterpiece of class and quality

  • DulciusExAsperis says:

first and foremost I appreciate Steven’s video reviews for letting me know how to correctly pronounce fragrance house names… haha! But I also really enjoy the clear and concise descriptions of each fragrance. Hard not to want each one! If I win, I’m interested most in Erba Pura. I’m in the USA.

  • I enjoyed that they all have strong performance and Xerjoff house have many fragrances. I like Mamluk and Casamorati 1888, Mefisto Gentiluomo and Erba Pura and Uden overdose and Naxos. I am in CA USA

  • johnsonious2 says:

I love how Steven is so descriptive in his videos! He make all of the Xerjoffs sound amazing! If I were to win and get a chance to pick something, i’d pick Al Khatt! If it’s Steven’s first, it’ll be my first! Hahaha

  • Erba Pura has been on my wishlist. It is lovely. Steven always covers each fragrance completely and without bias that’s what always draws me to his reviews. Erba Pura is my choice.

I would love to see a Winter 2021 Xerjoff video!

Thanks for the giveaway. In the USA.

  • Alexandria II would be my choice because of how enthusiastic his description was in the video. He was clearly so impressed by this fragrance and his admiration for the line comes across. I liked that he talked about his own collection and which fragrances he sought out immediately when they were released. The video seemed to echo the quote about the line focusing on craftmanship. I’m in the US and I’d love to see a winter video!

  • Xerjoff is an amazing brand all mentioned above you can blind buy and if you are a collector they are mus have! I have 6 xerjoffs in my collection and i bought them all without testing them before. Xerjoff is a brand that you must blind buy it cause they are all gem and you have no idea how they will surprise you so to say each unboxing is like birthdays gift. Each of them broaden your olfactory system as your nose learns new notes-blend. I would love to have Mamluk and Al-khat.
Wish you all a great weekend and be safe
    Spread love & peace

  • forrestanez says:

I really enjoyed the whole overview and thoughts. I think Steven did a great job describing these as always. I am only familiar with Nio and Naxos. I do like that they are all very long lasting perfumes. Thank you for this generous opportunity. If I won, I would choose More Than Words.

  • Bryant Worley says:

I love Steven’s review of the fragrances, as well as his enthusiasm.

I would like to win (in this order):

    1) More Than Words
    2) Alexandria II
    3) Uden Overxose
    4) Erba Pura
    5) Xerjoff Dhajala

  • Sandro Mateush says:

I’m in love with Xerjoff Erba Pura. I’ve tried this fragrance only once and it was a love at first sniff. Beautiful chemistry on my skin and in my mind with this scent.
It would be great to win this one. Thank you

  • I’m a subscriber of Steven’s channel on YouTube. Always enjoy watching his content and how he breaks down the fragrance notes! I enjoy the house of Xerjoff and both ouverture and mamluk sound amazing and haven’t gotten to test yet. I have to pick, I would say ouverture may come first but only maybe by a slight margin. Based in US, MN

  • This is a Solid List. Most have been mentioned many times by fragrance enthusiasts. Ones that interest me are Apollonia ( which I haven’t tried yet), Mamluk, gentiluomo and overdose. Thanks for the giveaway, Ca

  • Justin Kottelich says:

I stumbled upon xerjoff about 1 year ago. I’ve purchased 6 different ones as of today. Apollonia was my first. Absolutely a beautiful fragrance. I tell everyone to explore this house more. Truly remarkable fragrances so complex, and they last forever. You can feel the luxury when you wear one.

Steven always covers xerjoff and has made me explore more fragrances than I never thought I would. Quality, descriptive, and just pure sophistication is what I see in his videos.

I really want to try more than words and Alexandria II.

  • I would like to see 1) Viewer’s best pick’s on 2021 Winter/Holiday fragrances by Xerjoff or 2) Fragrances I’ve gotten to know more about in my sleep (imagination) or visionary travels, due to Covid in 2021.

Of the ten named in the video, my favorites are: Uden Overdose, Erba Pura, More Than Words, Ouverture, and Alexandria II, as I have not put my nose on the others yet. I would imagine they all smell great as well, including those I have smelled named as honorable mentions 😀 Is there one I don’t like by Xerjoff? My odds are none yet. lol. Thanks.

  • I’ve never tried a fragrance from Xerjoff, so I found the video to be helpful. I’ve heard of some of the fragrances which Steven mentioned, and now I have a better understanding of them than before. I would like to win: Xerjoff Uden Overdose, More Than Words, Mefisto Gentiluomo, and Erba Pura. I live in MD., U.S.A., and I am a subscriber to Steven’s channel.

  • Amanda32828 says:

Thank you for another awesome review. I have to say that the more information you provided, the more interested I got on the brand. From your top ten, I’m only familiar with Erba Pura and from the top ten, I’ll love to own Apollonia. Thank you for the opportunity to participate in the giveaway. Commenting from Orlando, Florida.

  • Thanks Michelyn and Steven for intresting tour to the Xerjoff beautiful world! I haven’t only tasted Apollonia which sounds amazing with my lovely powdery notes! Love perfumes from Oud Stars, especially Al-Khat, Fars, Mamluk and Uden Overdose!!
But my favourite is Alexandria 2 – love smooth sandalwood with patchouli in this perfume! I would like to win Alexandria 2.

I am a dier for Xerjoff perfumes. It’s an amazing niche brand. I am in love with Erba Pura since I got sample and would love to get a full bottle of it, it’s been on my wishlist forever, such a beautiful fruity fragrance.
    Shoutout to redolessence .

  • Luxury fragrance list , the traditional for Xerjoff through the roof quality , sophistication and class are all enraptured well in Steven picks.
I love the way he reviews fragrances , just like I love Xerjoff.
My number one Xerjoff is Mefisto, staple in my collection, I also really like Mefisto Gentiluomo.
I do agree with him , both are suitable for the Fall. From Steven picks I also like Ouverture and Erba Pura , the others i don’t know.
I’m interested in More Than Words, Ouverture, Erba Pura, and of course Alexandria II , my pick if luck is on my side.
Of course I’d like to see Xerjoff 2021 Winter video .
Exquisite giveaway , thanks Michelyn, Steven , Europerfumes
    USA

  • Great review as always. I am not surprised by Steve’s number one choice. It’s really nice, but I would love to win Ouverture if I am the lucky one. I always trust Steve and go to him when I’m looking into a purchase. Some youtube folks seem to love everything, but I don’t see how that can be possible so I trust Steve. My favorites from Xerjoff are Lira, Dolce Amalfi, and Italicia (Italicia is actually in the box waiting for my 60th birthday on Thursday – I can’t believe I have had the restraint not to open it early after I ran out of my sample). Great review as always, but always wishing Carlos was by your side. Thanks for the chance. USA

  • Out of the 10 fragrances in the giveaway, I know Erba Pura, More Than Words and Mefisto Gentiluomo.
More than Words is my favorite one of the bunch , it reminds me of the smell of Plum and Grape Crumble Tart , made with real rose water. I’m a Pastry Chef, and I can tell , I’ve smelled it before.
I need to try Alexandria II, Ouverture, Mamluk and Uden Overdose, the fragrances I’d like to win. If I win, Alexandria II or Ouverture would be my choice.
I like the variety of fragrances in the list , and it was interesting to see the older bottle Steven has.
In the Xerjoff winter list , I’m expecting to see Italica ,in my opinion the best Xerjoff fragrance.
Appreciate the mini reviews , and the giveaway campaign.

  • I find Xerjoff to be one the top 5 brands of high end perfumery.
Alexandria II attracts me sweetness and funky facets , without going over the board . The way it starts you could say it’s a manly scent , but wait until it settles down. I really like it in the base. Alexandria II by the way is the only Oud Stars i know.
I own a sample of Ouverture, and I think Steven review was really good.I do consider Ouverture to be woody gourmand, with florals in it . It starts with the orange, but almost immediately vanilla kicks in, magnolia, ylang-ylang banana like smell, and rose are there , and present. Cinnamon just adds to the spiciness.I believe Ouverture is eclectic dressed up fragrance , but trying it on your own skin is a must.
More than Words attracts me with it’s sweet, woody, powdery, fruity facets and the right amount of vanilla.
Everybody knows Erba Pura , I had a bottle a few years back.
So Alexandria II, More Than Words, Ouverture and Erba Pura I’m attracted the most here.
I think at least one of Golden Dallah , and/or my old love Lira will be present in the Winter Xerjoff top 10 ,
Doesn’t matter is you like safe , daring or sweet, Xerjoff portfolio is big , and Steven , Michelyn Camen and Europerfumes got us all covered 🙂
    Cheers

  • IvanVelikov says:

I’m not judging of course, but I have to admit, I’m surprised not to see even one of my favorite Xerjoff fragrances in the video.
Lira , my favorite Xerjoff , Amabile , Cavour I or Dolce Amalfi.
I have not smelled most , 8/10 to be precise , the 2 i know are Mefisto Gentiluomo and Erba Pura.
After some hesitation, I’d like to win one of:
    * Alexandria II , because of its complexity
    * More Than Words , because of the dried fruits and the oud
    * Ouverture , because of spices, vanilla and cinnamon.
I hope we’ll have to wait for the Winter Xerjoff top 10 , I have a feeling Fall will be quite long , and warm.
    Thank you all
    USA

  • Mefisto Gentiluomo i own , i personally wouldn’t wear it in the Fall , or Winter.
    Let’s see…
Ouverture sounds so multifaceted, going through floral ,woody, and spicy balsamic stages.
More Than Words I can relate to because of how seductive it is.
I have a feeling I’m the only fragrance fan , not familiar with Erba Pura “masterful composition bearing a cocktail of fruits and amber. Vanilla from Madagascar in the base is warm and sensual.”
Thanks Michelyn , Steven also said there’s melon.
He’s almost mesmerized by Alexandria II, to me that’s enough , I’d even put it first in my wish list today.
It’s pouring on the outside, Dhajala, Apollonia and Uden Overdose will have to wait a couple of months.
Wearing Xerjoff fragrance is always a special experience to me , somehow it reminds me of Untouchables and Eliot Ness. I’d be really happy to win Alexandria II , More than Words, Erba Pura or Ouverture.
I can’t exactly say which are my favorites, because I have no experience with all , but
Mefisto Gentiluomo and More than Words , the first i own , the second I’ve sampled. No doubt Winter list will be just as good.
    Overly exciting giveaway, USA
    Regards

  • I love the video and list above with concise descriptions, allowing us to do more research on those we find most interesting. I would love to win Erba Pura, although several sound fascinating. Thanks for hosting this giveaway. USA

  • ShawnGodwin says:

Love Steven’s Reviews! I trust him with his reviews! I don’t own any Xejoff fragrances, but I am really wanting to try Renaissance, Nio, and Mefisto!

  • Christopher Colon says:

I enjoy all of Steven’s Redolescense videos on YouTube. I trust his expertise in fragrances and think we share a lot of it in common. I own mostly designers and a few niche like Pafums De Marly Layton, Herod, Carlisle, and Oajan. I have heard nothing but high praises about the Xejroff house and really love to put my nose on Herba Pura.

  • Is it just me, or Steven threw some curve balls at us , intentionally, or not 🙂
Xerjoff is one best niche brands ever. I discovered the brand through Nio and Kobe years, and years back. There are very few Xerjoff fragrances, excluding the Attars i don’t know, and Steven’s No10 Dhajala is one of them. I’ll make sure to check it out. I’ll share my thoughts on numbers 9 to 1.
    9. Al Khatt
Super indolic fragrance, is carnal and animalic.
    8. Uden Overdose
Green , citrucy and powdery aromatic, Spring in bottle.
    7. Mamluk
My favorite Xerjoff, I wouldn’t call it gourmand. It’s quite skanky, so … skanky gourmand? Not for the faint of heart. Older presentation is what I got.
    6. I’m familiar with Apollonia, a bit of a departure from Xerjoff portfolio. Conceptual , not overly complicated scent. Clean musk , buttery iris and white flowers. Wears classy. My sample is gone now , but I can say the fragrance warms up on skin, and it becomes kind of lactonic in the base.
    5. Mefisto Gentiluomo modern barbershop fragrance. Warm weather fragrance in my opinion.
    4. Erba Pura is beautiful , one of the most blatantly copied fragrances for the part 10 years.
    3. More Than Words is gorgeous , rather sweet Woody-Fruity Oriental , with bombastic performance.
    2. Ouverture i know from now nonexistent Sospiro , the ex sub-brand of Xerjoff.Creamy sandalwood, just a bit spicy, balsamic fragrance with right amount of sweetness in the base is what I get for the most part.
1.To me Alexandria II is not by any means for everyone, it’s sweet and cozy in the base, but opening is like atomic bomb of lavender. Try it first , because the whole Oud Stars line to me it’s made for the connoisseurs, and not to please the masses. Ceylon and Indochine are maybe the two you could get away with.
    I’d be interested to win:
    1. Alexandria II
    2. More Than Words
    3. Ouverture
    4. Mefisto Gentiluomo
It’s obvious I’d choose Alexandria II if I win .
About the 2021 Winter video , I’m curious if some of the new Xerjoff fragrances Decas , Symphonium Parfum , Ipnotica will find a place in it .

Xerjoff is one of the best niche fragrances in the world. Alexandria II is a melody of spice and woods such as cinnamon and agar wool. According to Sergio Momo, sandalwood plays an important role in his scents. Sandlewood is by far one of the notes I gravitate to. I would love to win Alexandra II. Thank you !

  • I like and trust steven’s taste as i like most of the fragrances he talks about, and i love xerjoff so i’d like to win Alexandria II and thanks for this giveaway.

  • I love Steven’s reviews even the most enigmatic fragrances he can break down from the top the heart and the base. I think Erba Pura Sounds the best to me as it is loaded with exotic fruits and Madagascar vanilla. Their job is in my top three favorite fragrance houses and I would love to have it in my collection.

  • Ayman shoukry says:

I watched the YouTube twice , and one week before the video published I was asking about Xerjoff to try this house fragrance, Naxos will be my first then erba

  • I like how he did a video! I would love to win anything from the Oud stars collection but obviously anything would be great!

  • Hi, thanks for doing giveaway. Xerjoff Alexandria 2 would be wonderful to win. One my favorite niche house’s. Thanks again.
