Goldfield and Banks Bohemian Lime review (Dimitri Weber) + Vacation in Byron Bay

Goldfield and Banks Bohemian Lime review

I love a perfumer who brings new ingredients to perfumery.   For Dimitri Weber of the independent  Australian house of Goldfield and Banks, its Australian finger lime, also known as “Australian Caviar Lime”. In Goldfield and Banks Bohemian Lime, Dimitri worked with Givaudan on new extraction technology to bring this botanical essence to his new perfume. Australian lime is the fruit of a thorny shrub that grows primarily along the east coast of Australia in sub-tropical rain forest communities such as Byron Bay.

I asked Dimitri to sum up Goldfield and Banks Bohemian Lime in a sentence, and he wrote me, “Bohemian Lime is by far the best feel good and long-lasting citrus fragrance ever”. Although, Dimitri was going to launch Bohemian Lime at Esxence 2021, (last year I swooned over the sumptuous mimosa  (golden wattle) centric Golden Splendour), but he wanted to bring a little joy to our lives. In these difficult times, what more can you ask of a perfume? –Michelyn Camen, Editor-in-Chief

  • The Australian Finger Lime is completely new to me, so it was nice to learn about it in this review. The effervescent “ginger ale” “Moscow mule” twist is interesting! I am not familiar with the line’s creations so this would be my first one. I am in the USA.

  • I love Sebastian, in every video he transmits his passion for fragrances and let us discover new perfumes. Thanks to Michelyn, now I know what’s Australian finger lime is. Unfortunately I never tried a Goldfield and banks fragrances.

    Great review by Sebastian!
Sounds very intersting specially for these warm times.
    I will try it out.

  • roxhas1cat says:

Those finger limes sure are interesting looking, I liked the unique colors of them. I am thrilled that it is a long lasting citrus. The notes seem very cheery. I am not familiar with this line (or Adventus). Ginger note isn’t listed, but the fizz it can give sounds nice. Nice review as always Sebastian. Thanks for the chance. USA.

  • I love the sound of this one. Never heard of the lime finger note and I love ginger. Fragrances that have effervescent feel to them are always my favourite. Definitely would like to be entered in the giveaway very generous. I’m from London UK

  • TheCuriousPerfumer says:

Great review! I love this house. I stumbled upon Blue Cypress and was shocked how much it smelled like the discontinued Gucci II pour homme except the Blue Cypress lasted longer (thankfully). I’d love to try the lime. Sounds so clean and uplifting!

  • ThatMulattoDude says:

Really enjoyed the scent picture Sebastian painted of this fragrance. Ginger ale is my second favorite soda behind root beer so if it’s in that realm…great. Appreciate Michelyn letting us know Dmitri put this out early as a treat to lovers of this house. However, I haven’t tried any of their fragrances myself. Really would like to win this bottle. Thanks for the giveaway opportunity! -Virginia, USA

Really intrigued how Sebatien described the ginger ale effect , never tried nothing from this house as of now , new york , usa .

  • Mmmmm… this would make me so happy!!! I adore citrus, as my mother in law has the best meyer lemons and oranges on her property! Thanks for the opportunity! I’m in florida USA

  • It’s hard not trust Sebastian especially if you have a similar scent phenotype. The moscow mule aspect is interesting to me as I lost a metallic, sparkly, lime and sandalwood perfume to discontinued ingredients. It could be a lovely fragrance especially for the summer where I am (Louisiana). You want something light and uplifting to help since the humidity really will hold your scent to the skin. And I love a sandalwood dry down no matter creamy or dry or more resin spice. I am in the USA

  • Shamrock1313 says:

Great review by Sebastian. I’m a fan of Pacific Rock Moss, but not it’s performance. Hopefully, Bohemian Lime is much better because I love lime and other citrus dominant frags and BL sounds like a winner.
    Thanks for the giveaway

  • Oooh this sounds refreshing never heard of Australian Lime but lime Caviar sounds intriguing. Sebastian make me want to feel refreshed and nice whilst wearing it and Michelyn makes me want to taste and drink it. Don’t have anywhere here to test or buy Goldfield and Banks. I’m in Dublin EU.

  • Another quality review from Sebastian. Ah Australian finger lime, a fruit that I’ve only heard of but never tasted or smelled. But as a huge citrus fan I’m sure I’ll love this one. Summer is coming and this one will be great for the weather! And I’ve never tried anything from Goldfield and Banks yet. One of my friends loves this house and recommends me countless times but unfortunately I’ve never got the chance. Hope I got to win this one as my first try~
Thank you for the opportunity of the giveaway, good luck to all.

  • I always enjoy Sebastian’s reviews. I’ve heard of finger lime previously, but have never tried it in person. I agree with Michelyn, it’s exciting to hear of it being used in perfume, as I usually prefer lime over lemon in my food anyways, especially in the summer. Sebastian had a good analogy and likens it to a Moscow mule. I especially liked the part where he said it just gave him happy vibes. This sounds so good…I can’t wait to try it!
I live in the USA. Thanks for the giveaway.

  • thiagoalves says:

Thanks for the review! I’d like to be entered in the giveaway. On Sebastian’s review I got really interested in the comparison with the Moscow Mule and the Aventus vibe of this fragrance. On Michelyn’s comment I enjoyed the brief but exciting description by Dimitri. I live in Australia and have tried some of the Goldfield and Banks Fragrances, Pacific Rock Moss being my favorite so far.

  • KRANTI DEEPAK SINGH says:

i really want to win this amazing perfume after watching the great review

  • BostonScentGuy says:

This sounds great! Definitely looking for a nice fresh summer scent with layers and nuances. I love lime and love hearing that it sounds like there are ginger nuances with a woody drydown. I also appreciated hearing about the coriander notes. I also loved hearing in the intro that the tree is thorny! I find it interesting how some citrus trees (i.e. kumquat) have this defense. I tried all of their scents very quickly at Barney’s when I was in a rush one day. I remember feeling (especially with Desert Rosewood and Southern Bloom) like I wanted to spend a much longer time exploring them! Thanks for the draw. I’m in the US.

  • What I liked about Michelyn’s intro was when Dmitri summed up Bohemian Lime as “Bohemian Lime is by far the best feel good and long-lasting citrus fragrance ever”. From Sebastian’s review, it seems to be a very cheerful and happy fragrance (much needed right now), though I am not sure how different it is going to be from many other citrusy-green fragrances, unless somehow Australian finger lime is very different from other limey/citrusy notes. But it has Givaudan backing, so I am sure it is very high quality, even though the notes are few and simple (which can actually be great as then it is not an olfactory cacophony, but an elegant symphony). I haven’t tried anything from the house of Goldfield and Banks, yet. Thanks for the draw and the review. Writing from USA.

  • georgiahuh says:

I find Sebastians reviews very informative he obviously loves scents & it shows I am subscribed to his channel because he reviews a diverse range of fragrances & he is a patch ho! I love that term hes coined!
Being Australian I love Goldfield & Banks my favourite from this house is Southern Bloom the scent is gorgeous & the blooms used were from my region so I love it even more Dimitry is the first perfumer to ever use boronia he has captured the Australian essence beautifully in his scents even down to the no nonsense bottle design everything about this house screams AUSTRALIA! I would love to own a bottle of this Australian beauty ♥️♥️♥️

  • Horacio10 says:

This sounds like a very refreshing and pleasant, yet still very unique scent. It’s perfect for the summer! Moscow mule is actually one of my favorite cocktail. I would love to try this. I have tried pacific rock moss and blue cypress, they are both really good, although the performance is not the best. And Michelyn is very right, this fragrance sounds like something that can cheer all of us up in such a difficult time!

    From the UK

  • Like the description of a long lasting citrus fragrance. Also Sebastian’s way of describing it as having a light crowd-pleasing aspect to it. Enjoyed the review and the intro. I live in the USA.

  • Vijay Tilwani says:

Wow finger lime…takes me back to my 3 months in Sydney and those happy hours in the bar near the office. It looks like caviare and very effervescent as Sabastian mentioned. We have been growing coriander with the quarantine as it is used quite a lot in Indian cuisine and the flowers and the leaves are so beautifully aromatic. This is on my radar to smell it sometime soon and fingers crossed for the draw. Subscriber from Los Angeles, CA

  • Love to see Australian species featured in perfume. Finger lime is awesome and I don’t win I will definitely pick up a bottle. Sounds great for summer.

  • I liked Michelyn explanation of caviar limes, I’ve never heard of them before. I also liked Sebastian’s discussion about how light and airy this fragrances is while wearing (not easy to do with a Vetiver bass note!).

I am located in Montana, USA, and have never tried a fragrance from Goldfield and Banks Fragrance. Thanks!

  • BrianEvans says:

The effervescent “ginger ale” “Moscow mule” description is accurate. Whenever cooking with or drinking citrus fruit I get the same feeling. To me it’s a clean fresh scent. Australian finger limes is a fruit I’ve never tasted but I’ve seen TV chefs work with it in the past. I would assume it’s a sharp taste on the tongue but as a fragrance clean and spicy.

  • I did not know about finger lime. Bohemian Lime looks like a novel citrus perfume. US

  • Fernando Arroyo says:

This sound to me like the perfect summer fragrance, something like ginger ale effervescent for me is just amazing. Sebastian just make it easy for everybody else. I’m on board with this release.

  • Roberto Musitano says:

Sebastian , thank you for your review. I live in Australia and I am ashamed to say I have never heard of finger limes. I appreciate the research done on this. This fragrance sounds very interesting. I am familiar with Goldfield and Banks via their wood infusion fragrance. I have received some nice compliments on this one. I would love to be considered to be in the draw for Bohemian lime. Have a great week all.

  • Paula Jefferson says:

I’d like to see if the fragrance really smells like a Moscow Mule. Also, the caviar like insides of the fruit is interesting.

I left out in my previous comment that I live in the US and have sampled several Goldfield & Banks fragrances, but I’ve never owned a full bottle.

  • Trinity33 says:

I appreciate Michelyn’s description of the Australian ginger lime. I’ve never herd of it before. It be interesting to read about this new extraction and how it improves on the old way. Sebastian always brings such enthusiasm to his reviews and I’m intrigued by the Moscow Mule comparison. I’ve never tried and Goldfield and Banks scents before. Commenting from MD, USA.

I loved about how the house sources all their special ingredients for all their new creations. Really makes me feel how much they care about whats going in the bottle.

  • I loved how Sebastian described this fragrance as being sparkly and bubbly, like a fresh can of coke or ginger ale. I love the crisp freshness of ginger notes in fragrance, and while ginger as a note was not mentioned, this sounds like the perfect fresh summer fragrance. I appreciated how Michelyn gave more information on the actual Australian finger lime and described this as the perfect feel good fragrance – we could all use that. I live in Maryland, USA

  • Caviar limes, LOL! I would love to see one. Sebastian mentioned ginger ale, my favorite soda. Thanks for the opportunity to sniff! Mich USA

  • avisek901 says:

Love how Sebastian explans the smell of perfume and his genuineness. Michelyn covered all the aspects I want to know before trying a perfume.
I live in Australia and I have tried any of Goldfield and banks Pacific Rock Moss from a sample and liked it.

  • Amanda32828 says:

Love Sebastian review because they are always very informative and educational. I enjoyed very much the description of the notes in this case the Australian finger lime being a unknown fruit to me that’s sort of intriguing. The introduction by Michelyn like always on point with the details about the creator and the base notes of the fragrances. Personally, I love fresh citrusy fragrances and I’ll love to be included on this draw. Commenting from Orlando, Fl.

  • Super fresh, long lasting, innovative , as far as I’m concerned we have a winner.
    More new ingredients please.
I do remember Southern Bloom on Cafleurebon, and I was like “Ok it’s time to pull the trigger for the Goldfield and Banks sample set”. LuckyScent sells it for $42+$4 shipping. Well worth it , because you get 7 samples, all 2ml. Maybe because it’s brand new, but I think sample of Bohemian Lime may not be included.
I’m torn between Desert Rosewood and Southern Bloom
    Thank you for the draw

  • First introduction to Australian finger lime. Interesting fruit! Bohemian Lime is the best long lasting citrus fragrance ever. Count me in. Sebastian makes my wishlist even longer. Haven’t tried any from this brand. I like that it is a crowd pleaser and a happy scent. iL, USA

  • Monica Beaton says:

Wonderful post and review Michelyn and Sebastian. I’ve only just discovered the native Finger Lime, and it is truly something special. I love the idea of using native ingredients in local fragrances, and something as bright and fresh as this bush fruit is sure to please my love of citrus fragrances. How lovely to have something so unique hit the market – I can’t wait to give this one a try. I’ve had the pleasure of trying a few of the Goldfield and Banks range, and they are beautifully Australian.

  • tanle0815 says:

Sebastian is detailed as always on his perfume, I like it with the new sound effect for ginger ale now. He continue to improve giving greater experience for the viewer. The intro give me the image of burst of popping lime Boba. I have a decant to pacific rock moss from them, they really nice but it better for summer time frame, but most people wear it all years around which in my option defeat the purpose. Send it from Texas.

  • The best part of the review is that there is ginger in there. I love the idea of a Moscow mule fragrance. I live in Chicago Illinois and I have Pacific Rock moss which I absolutely love. Thanks for the review.

  • YoungWaxy says:

Michelyn did a great job introducing the star of the perfume, which I am not very familiar with.

Having received a sample recently, I agree with Sebastian’s review, this is an effervescent scent. Like when you open a soda.

Really enjoy it this scent. And it’s probably the best scent in the Goldfield & Banks line up.

    I’m in the USA.

  • Camille Sheil says:

I’ve never tried any Goldfield and Banks fragrances but I will say, for this being my introduction to them, they absolutely put their best foot forward.

I love lime. I haven’t smelled or tasted fingerling lime, but I’ve smelled several different line varieties and have loved them all. So, to have such an effervescent lime, as Sebastian says, sounds lovely. Sounds refreshing and thereby, comforting. Even the ginger note, to me, is comforting.

And as Michelyn wrote from Dimitri, that this is the most long lasting citrus ever… That must be the holy grail of perfumes. Citrus is always too short. I never liked drinking fruit juices for that very fact. It was gone too fast. I always enjoyed eating the orange, or grapefruit too, because it lasted longer.

Limes are one of my favorite citrus to smell. To a long lasting citrus, lime no less, would truly be Heavenly!

Thanks for the draw! I appreciate the opportunity! I live in New Hampshire USA!

  • twiggy3634 says:

I like that Sebastian gets a ginger vibe from it, even though ginger is not listed, because it’s one of my favorite notes. I appreciate Michelyn’s research on what the heck an Australian finger lime is because I didn’t even know it existed. I live in Indiana, USA and I haven’t tried Goldfield and Banks yet.

  • I loved Sebastian’s review and detailing finger lime. It’s the first I’ve heard of it as well. It definitely intrigues me from the description he’s given. It sounds like a perfect entry into Goldfield and Banks for a newbie to the house such as myself.

I’m glad to find out this fragrance was released early from Michelyn. I’ll definitely take a new fragrance any time.

I reside in Iowa, USA 🙂

Thank you for the detailed review!

  • Per Sebastian’s review, I particularly loved his review on combination of the zingy ginger note with corriander and lime. It sounds very refreshing and I have been looking for such effervesant fragrance since ages. Corriander is my favorirte herb. I have Bigelow Lime Corriander face mist and I can relate to this totally. Michelyn Camen did a great job and thanks for the opportunity. I can’t wait to have my nose on this – Reading, Pennsylvannia, USA

  • Sebastian presented this fragrance in such a way that it is so much tempting to smell this fragrance. I have not tried Goldfield and Banks ever. This could be my first opportunity. I love the spicy aspect of this fragrance, the fact that it is very fresh and vibrant.
    Cheers from USA

  • NiceVULady says:

Loved Michelyn’s intro as it segued right into Sebastian’s review. I certainly take away the effervescent and gingery feel to this fragrance, along with the Australian lime and bergamot predominant notes. I’m trying to think of another fragrance that smelled like a Moscow Mule. Sounds great. Thanks for the review and introduction and thank you for a most generous draw. I’m in the USA

  • Being Australian, it’s great to see our fragrances feature on such a prominent YouTube channel.

  • Great review from Sebastian, thank you! I never tried Goldfield and Banks fragrances, so I’m looking to test the strange
Australian Caviar Lime. Finally we have a long lasting citrus fragrance – as Michelin stressed -, just perfect for the coming hot summer. I live in the EU.

  • Andrei-Cristian Radescu says:

As always, I appreciate Sebastian for pointing out quality fragrances and for his passion. About Michelyn’s introduction, I always liked the abilities of editors of finding out insights and writing about them. Great job! A local store here has Goldfield and Banks Fragrances which I’ve tried and quite liked. Greetings from Romania!

  • I have never heard of finger lime Australia as well, but would not mind testing this one to see how different or similar is to the ‘normal’ lime I am familiar with.
    EU. Thanks!

  • Really interested in this scent. The concept of the Australian Finger Lime has really piqued my curiosity, so would love to participate in the giveaway. Great review from Sebastien, would be interested to know the longevity of the fragrance though. I’ve tried Pacific Rock Moss, and although I really love the scent, it performs really poorly. I agree with Michelyn in that it’s so great to hear (or smell) brand new ingredients to perfumery. Great work as always. Saying hello from Point Roberts WA.

  • Laurentiu says:

One of my favourite refreshing drinks for summer is a glass of ice cold sparkling water where I squeeze a lime. And that being said, I love lime and I am sure I would love this take on a fruit that for most of us is unusual and exotic.
I live in Europe and thanks for the review & draw!

  • diegopineda says:

From Michelyn’s Introduction: What I enjoyed the most was that the best way to describe bohemian lime is as a feel good scent. I’m in need of a feel good scent.

From Sebastian’s Review: What enjoyed the most was his comparison of the fragrance to a moscow mule, that is a very unique scent.

I have never tried this fragrance or house before.

  • CigiScent says:

Wow, this scent seems right up my alley. Citrus, woodsy, spicy, long lasting… I live in Belgium and have never tried and Goldfield and Banks, but I would love to try this one. I loved the own twist Sebastian gave it by comparing it to Moscow Mule and the info about the extraction of the finger was very interesting to pinpoint what makes this scent so original!

  • Traveller48017 says:

Sebastian makes great videos, he really dives deep into the fragrances. One of the things I liked about this video, is that he took the time to describe the finger lime and making the whole fragrance sound like it’s just some tropical dish/drink. Plus, he is honest in his reviews and if he likes it….. it must be good.

    Hi from Denmark

  • Armando Espsrza says:

Michelyn’s introduction was summed up by acknowledging how a simple perfume can lift and bring a little joy in our lives as difficult times precedes us. Sebastian’s review intrigued me once he mentioned several times Aventus-ish with lime, but with a fresh soda spritz resembling a moscow mule with hints of ginger surrounding the fragrance. Can’t wait to try!. Great review Sebastian! California USA!

  • Sebastians review is great, he is always very in depth and really makes you understand a fragrance before even trying it. Michelyns did a great job at explain the process on how they extracted the essence from the finger lime. I live in Australia so I’m very familiar with finger limes. Unfortunately I haven’t tried a goldfields and banks fragrance yet but they have done very interesting scents.

  • Really enjoyed the video, learned something new – what’s not to like? I’ve tried Pacific Rock Moss which was okay and I already got a sample of Bohemian Lime coming because of the previous video.

  • What I enjoyed most about Sebastian’s review was how he noticeably only described the smell but how it makes you feel and how it wears on skin. The zingy sparkling qualities it has intrigued me.

Michelyn’s introduction was interesting to learn about how they are using a new ingredient in perfumery and where it comes from. It just helps expand anybodies knowledge to be aware of such things .

    I’m from Ireland, EU

  • Marc Berry says:

There are a number of good parts to the review. Firstly he really manage to get across the smell and sensations he is getting by describing it like opening a soda and a Moscow Mule cocktail. It made my mouth water. It sounded juicy and effevesent. I love citrus and especially lime and bergamot so this sounds wonderful. He also makes sure to remove any long term comparison with Aventus which is a good idea so it is viewed and reviewed as it’s own fragrance. I don’t have any experience with any Goldfield and Banks fragrance so I’d love to try it now after the review. Thanks, Marc from the UK.

  • I have been looking for a fragrance for the high heat and this might be the one. The fact that Sebastian likes it is usually indicative of high quality. I like how Michelyn spoke to Dimitri himself about the fragrance. I would like to thank him for the giveaway.

Sounds like a very interesting summer fragrance! Hard to invent something really riveting in citrus world so this has me interested.

    Fingers crossed!

  • I have never tried anything from Goldfield and Banks, but have always been very interested in doing so. Bohemian Lime sounds fantastic! I enjoyed Sebastian’s description and comparison to a Moscow Mule with that fresh and fizzy opening. This sounds like an excellent scent for spring and summer. Unfortunately, I don’t have access to this fragrance house where I live.

I love discovering new fragrance via Seb’s reviews. As an avid collector and an Australian expat I was thrilled to discover a Goldfield and Banks for the first time and appreciate the background info (native ingredients etc) on the brand.

I like Seb’s combination between analysis of the scent and relevant reference/ comparison. I find it helps create a really accurate perception of what to expect and helps me to make informed sampling/ purchasing decisions.

  • I really think Sebastian is on a whole different level and he helps us find some great perfumes. His reviews always spark interest and I am always finding myself wanting to try the perfume myself. Would love to win! Living in the EU

  • I do love my citruses so I’ll certainly have to take a look after seeing Michelyn’s recommendation raving about its longevity! And if Sebastian’s point on Limeventus being a possible perspective for the early impressions, that’s certainly not a bad thing at all in my view. And of course, applause to the perfumer for bringing something new to the table with the Australian finger lime. USA (CA)

  • Bohemian Lime is by far the best feel good and long-lasting citrus fragrance ever”. I am intrigued by the effervescent zingy qualities sounds perfect for Summer. A house that I am not familiar with but I am intrigued and curious all the same by. Thanks a million from the UK

  • Australian lime is the fruit of a thorny shrub that grows primarily along the east coast of Australia in sub-tropical rain forest communities such as Byron Bay. Intrigued by the notes and especially the lasting power of this fragrance. If it is spicy, sweet and strong just like a moscow mule you have got my attention. Thanks a lot from the United Kingdom

  • wagnerflo says:

After watching Sebastian’s review I was curious if there’s actually anything of the finger lime in there (we all know that note breakdowns don’t automatically translate into ingredients). Thanks Michelyn for clearing that up!

Sebastian is, once again, great at describing the fragrance. Now I’m yearning for Moscow Mule, sitting at work. Cruel. I’ll have to settle trying to win this one. So please enter me in the draw. Haven’t tried anything from Goldfield and Banks. I’m from Germany.

  • badjobkaren says:

I’ve been lucky to visit Byron Bay before, and the review mentioned sensing ginger- I bet it’s not that far off since Australia is one the world’s top ginger producer! I’m in the USA.

  • With Covid and the associated ISO I have found a new addiction in Fragrances.Love reading and watching reviews of people more experienced than I about previous unheard of words such as Top notes Sillage,Drydown and Gourmand.
Sebastian seams down to earth and his reviews are informative and often his recommendations s end up on my shopping list.
As an Australian I felt embarrassed that I haven’t tried any Goldfield and Banks Bohemian fragrances so I immediately went to their website and ordered their Discovery Sample Collection.
As Michelyn Camen says I love a perfumer who brings new ingredients to perfumery, the fact that they’re Australian ingredients makes it that much better 😉

Great video like always Sebastian, i kinda always participate at your giveaways, never got luck :)) neither do i own a Goldfield and Banks fragrance, hope this will be my first one.
By the way thank you for bringing me deeper into this world of frag keeping my wallet thin :))), Arges, Romania

  • Sebastian does a very good job of describing the smell of this fragrance in relation to a Moscow mule but also the nature and the way it feels with its effervescent and fizzy character. It was also nice to learn about a new ingredient being used in perfumery, and we could all do with feeling good at this time. I am yet to try any fragrances from this house but I think this would be a great place to start. I live in the UK.

  • I like that both Michelyn and Sebastian excellently described finger lime as a fruit and as a note in perfume which is something new for me and most of us. I am from Croatia and I am a fan of Pacific Rock Moss

  • I’ve been looking for a tru-smelling lime fragrance for AGES. Until reading Michelyn’s introduction, I didn’t even know about the finger lime’s existence. And now I am hooked! And if Sebastian says it has notes of ginger ale… one of my favourite drinks… then I think this fragrance was made for me 🙂
I have never tried a Goldfield and Banks fragrance though. I am in France, EU.

  • Australian finger lime? Australian caviar lime? Im new to this as well as to Goldfield and Banks! I should ask my family members living on the Gold Coast. Crowd pleasing is nice and pleasant but the long-lasting fact interests me. Great review Sebastian! I’m from Belgium

  • Marty Anderson says:

Thank you Sebastian for introducing this new refreshing fragrance. BFL feels warm and comforting. Texas USA.

  • Tony Silverman says:

I love a citrus fragrance with a new twist. This one sounds absolutely sounds like my cup of tea. Can’t wait to try it.

  • This perfume sounds intriguing. Sebastian explained so well what it smells like and the Michelyn gives you an idea of where the ingredient came from. I had never heard of fingerling lime. Minnesota, USA. I have tried most of the Goldfield & Banks line, Southern Bloom is my favorite.

  • tsi.olprop@gmail.com says:

Sounds like a nice new twist on Citrus, my favourite goto in the Summer months. Would love to get my nose on this one. Really like the fact that the house are using local sources for their accords too.

  • SivaScents says:

Despite being new to ÇaFleureBon, I have been a fan of Sebastian’s fragrance reviews for a while now. He is one of if not is my favourite fragrance reviewer and so what I enjoyed about this review applies to all his videos. I really like the way he conveys his passion for scents that he enjoys and describes them so well (as well as scents he doesn’t enjoy as much). It is thanks to Sebastian that I bought and fell in love with several of my fragrances such as Tom Ford Ombre Leather, Lalique Encre Noire A L’extreme and Bentley for Men Intense – So I very much trust his opinion. I also really enjoyed learning about the Australian Finger Lime, something I had never come across before, and am very curious to try it next time I visit Australia. With Michelyn’s introduction on this post, I really enjoyed the additional context provided through Dimitri Weber’s thoughts on the fragrance and how he worked with Givaudan to create this perfume. So far I have not tried any G&B fragrances but have heard a lot of good things from fragrance reviewers so I am excited to try some of them out when it is safe to go to stores again.

    Thanks,

    Prav (London, UK)

  • Sam Ellison says:

I’d love to enter in the giveaway! Been looking for a good lime scent for quite some time, so I’m excited. USA, here.

  • micarinio says:

In his review, Sebastian says the fragrance is delicious, invigorating and very fresh, with hints of Australian Finger Lime, Bergamot, Coriander and Sandalwood.
Michelyn Camen loves a fragrance that brings new ingredients to perfumery.
I never tried a Goldfield and Banks Fragrance, but I would love to wear this perfume.
    Greetings from Romania!

  • Fabian Kaunzner says:

Sounds like it is perfect for the coming months. Love Moscow Mules and Ginger Ale so I´ll definitely have to check it out for that association alone.

  • Lara Anderson says:

What an exciting release! Now is the perfect time for a citrus like this and I love lime so would love to give this a try. Have not had a Moscow Mule but also enjoy ginger in fragrances. Thanks for the giveaway and Sebastian as always did a great job describing it.

  • Brygantor says:

I enjoyed Sebastian’s thorough description of what the fragrance is about, along with his infectious enthusiasm for it, as well as his comparing it to an effervescent, refreshing drink. This is what I enjoyed about Michelyn’s intro: ‘For Dimitri Weber of the independent Australian house of Goldfield and Banks, its Australian finger lime, also known as “Australian Caviar Lime”’. And this: “I asked Dimitri to sum up Goldfield and Banks Bohemian Lime in a sentence, and he wrote me, “Bohemian Lime is by far the best feel good and long-lasting citrus fragrance ever”. I haven’t tried anything from this house as of yet. I live in Waldorf, MD, USA.

  • Sounds great. Even though it’s not listed (ginger), that combination with citrus can be nice. US

  • Sebastian compares this to a moscow mule and in Michelyn’s intro the perfumer claims its the longest-lasting citrus ever—yes please! I’m in NC, USA and I own and love pacific rock moss from g&b. Haven’t tried any others from the house, but I’m very interested in getting some joy from this early release.

  • Sebastian’s reviews are always a pleasure to watch! I can totally feel his passion. And I really love ginger ale! Also thanks to Michelyn, I know about Australian finger lime.
    Florida, USA

  • Saul Garcia says:

I love the way Sebastian explain the scent. It made me want to go buy a bottle right away. A huge plus a long lasting fragrance . Interesting use of Australian Caviar Lime . So intrigued to see how it would develop on my skin !!.

  • abbie road says:

some of my favorite notes – love ginger and citrus fragrances in the summer time. this one would be nice on my husband too it sounds. enjoy Sebastian’s brilliant explanation of the note journey. I share michelyn’s love for new ingredients in perfumery. usa

  • I’ve seen finger limes back when I worked in a kitchen and they’re funny little things. Its nice that this fragrance was released for the summer instead of next year – I could really use a nice citrus fragrance! Its interesting to hear that its also ginger-y. Sebastian’s description sounds makes it sound like a nice soda. USA

  • vietnamenforce says:

I love Sebastian’s perfume review. He teaches us so much about perfumes and he introduce us a wide variety of fragrances from designers to niches. I never win a giveaway in my life, hope this time I will!

  • TheFragKid says:

This looks really refreshing and INVIGORATING! I always enjoy hearing Sebastians take on these types of niche fragrances. I have never smelled anything from Goldfield & Banks but am really intrigued to give this one a try! Thank you for all the information on this new release and the opportunity to win a bottle. USA, NY

  • So interesting, the effervescence of citrus and dry down to a warmer sandalwood (one of my faves). Australia is my second home, love that this house incorporates native plants and flowers.

  • Keith O Halloran says:

I lived and worked in Oz picking fruit and in a cannery and never came across this fruit. This sounds really bright and zesty . Thanks Sebastian great RV. I Would love to try Goldfield And Banks as we don’t have them here in Ireland.

  • A long lasting citrus fragrance sound very nice for upcoming summer. Juicy, citrussy, inviting is just what I’m looking for. Great review Sebastian! Australian fingerlime looks cute too. I’m in EU. Thank you Goldfield and Banks and Cafleurebon for this wonderful opportunity.

  • Michael Werno says:

I enjoyed Sebastian’s description of this fragrance as a similar to a Moscow mule, it really got me interested. Combined with the comment from the perfumer in Michelyn’s introduction that it is a long-lasting citrus fragrance (often hard to find), and this one seems like a winner.

  • MisterBond68 says:

Mychelyn , that´s exactly what i expect from a perfume at the moment, it must bring joy. @sebastian. I always watch your reviews, i also saw the review of the pacific rock moss, a fragrance i like also very much.

  • Interesting! I have never heard of finger lime before. I wonder how it is compared to the ordinary lime we are so familiar with. EU. Thanks!

  • Leonicia Blue says:

I have never heard of a finger lime. Thanks to Michelyn and Sebastian, I now know what one is. Sebastian’s review made this fragrance sound so refreshing. It sounds like it would be perfect on a hot summer day. I definitely want to add this to my collection. I have not tried this house yet but I have my nose on Southern Blooms as well. I am from the USA.

  • It’s such a joy to watch Sebastian review his discoveries with so much passion. And I like how Michelyn provided a brief but complete description of what we can expect from the newly added Australian finger lime scent. I look forward to getting my nose on this!

I live in the UK and I have not tried a Goldfield and Banks fragrance before.

  • I couldn’t agree more with Michelyn’s introduction, new ingredients in perfumery are always exciting and welcome.
This new exotic note makes no exception. The perfume itself sounds very refreshing and uplifting especially in hot summer weather, and the ginger ale/ fizzy drink comparison from Sebastian made me even more excited.
This would be my first G&B experience. I am in the EU.

  • Sebastian’s ginger ale scent picture is one thing that makes me want to try Goldfield and Banks Bohemian Lime. Michelyn’s quote from Dmitri is the other. Who wouldn’t want to try “the best feel good and long-lasting citrus fragrance ever”? I have not tried anything from this house, an I am in the US.

  • Lime is by far my favorite citrus and wish it was used more. Curious as to how finger lime differs. “By far the best feel good” fragrance… well then. You have my attention! Thank you Lucky scent!! My go to store, have spent lots of money there ha! I have yet to try a Goldfield & banks fragrance. Iowa, USA.

  • MMM gingerale or moscow mule. Loved Sebastian’s review and his descriptions of this citrus fragrance. He loved the gingery effect and zingy. Love his words. Michelyn introduction makes me want to go to Australia and Byron Bay. She also loves a perfumer that uses different ingredients. Finger lime, interesting! I have tried Desert rosewood and it is wonderful! USA

  • This one sound really really nice. Lime, bergamot and cedar should be an amazing refreshing blend. I’ve only had the chance to test the hyped Pacific Rock Moss, and i enjoyed a lot the smell but the performance was just average. Great review as always from Sebastian, thanks for the giveaway chance, i’m in the EU.

  • I enjoyed Sebastian passion for reviewing, he know how to break the scent piece by piece. And in doing so he gives the viewer an accurate picture of the scent.
I never smelled Goldfield and Banks perfume.
    Israel.

  • doveskylark says:

I agree with Michelyn that it’s always wonderful when a perfumer brings a new ingredient to fragrances. I have heard of finger limes, but I didn’t know they were also known as Caviar limes. I enjoyed the way Sebastian described the zingy, effervescent stages of the fragrance. I love gingery and coriander fragrances. I have tried White Sandalwood from Goldfield and Banks. It’s wonderful, a crowd pleaser.
    I live in the USA.

I like how both Sebastian and Michelyn took the time to find out and explain what a finger lime is…I have not tried any fragrances from his house…but have some in my cart the next time I purchase some.
    I’m from Illinois, US.

  • João Garcia says:

Fingerlime is not really something I’m used to, but I feel like I get what it’s all about thanks to Sebastian and Michelyn. I’m somewhat familiar with the brand, I have had okay experiences with it. It sounds like this fragrance would definitely be a hit for me, though!
    I’m in Portugal.

  • Sandro Mateush says:

I came here from another great review from Sebastian. This time I’m very excited, because I’ve heard a lot about fragrances of this brand and especially about Pacific Rock Moss fragrance, but never tried them. Bohemian Lime exciting for me because he got interesting combo – I like lime in fragrances, like in Versace Versus Uomo and I like coriander, like in Acqua Allegoria White peach & Coriander – and here there are both. Yeah, I know, it’s not the same lime as usual and so it’s making this fragrance even more interesting to me. So as Sebastian said it reminds him Aventus a little bit – just another plus of this fragrance for me! After all I’ve heard I think it’s something new in a world of scents.
    Thankful for your giveaway!
I’ve never tried Goldfield & Banks fragrances.
    I’m from Kiev, Ukraine.

  • I enjoyed first Sebastian and Michelyn’s explanations of what Australian finger lime is. Also I enjoyed how Sebastian explained the fragrance with the finger lime and bergamot extending a good amount of time throughout the fragrance and it drying down to the sandalwood. It was also nice to learn in Michelyn’s introduction that a new extraction technique was created to use finger lime in this perfume and that it was released early to brighten peoples lives in trying times. I havent tried any Goldfield and Banks fragrances yet regrettably because there r some I’d like to try. Commenting from CT USA. Thanks for the generous draw.

  • Thanks Michelyn – now I know how smells Australian finger lime!
Thanks Sebastian for another one great review. I want to have have this georgeus citrusy fragrance in my collection.
Unfortunately, I am not familiar with Goldfield and Banks fragrances.

Never tried Goldfield and Banks or finger lime, but I’m going to Australia for my brother’s wedding and would love to try both G&B and finger-lime for that matter when I’m there! Michelyn caught my attention by introducing G&B as a brand working with local ingredients from Australia and love trying something new. From Sebastian’s review it sounds this is great for summer if you enjoy a good Moscow Mule. Sounds fantastic! Marit UK

  • I have dark skin and love wearing citrus fragrances, that is why “Bohemian Lime is by far the best feel good and long-lasting citrus fragrance ever” sounds like a winner to me.

I had never heard of Australian Finger Limes before but Sebastian’s passion for it is, as always, contagious!

  • I’ve only tried and own Pacific Rock Moss from Goldfield & Banks. Bohemian Lime sounds great. First time i hear about Australian Finger Limes. I’d love to try this out. Thanks, Ca

  • I didn’t know that Goldfield & Banks was all about native Australian ingredients! I love Moscow mules, so this sounds like the perfect citrus for my collection. I’m from Chicago, and I’ve tried Pacific Rock Moss before!

  • I have learned aboutthis house from Demi Rowling (she is the Aussie). Love lime and sparkly fragrances. Cannot wait to get my nose on it 🙂

  • Like most of the readers here, I am in the same boat of ignorance when it comes to even hearing of this fruit that seems to be alien compared to the other one we are so well accustomed. It would be a nice experience and a great conversation starter to wear a fragrance based on this type of lime.

  • I love lime and i really haven’t found any good long-lasting citrus-fragrances yet – therefor the introduction was a nice teaser. The video then described the strong ginger-impression – and i love ginger. Therefor i would love to try this perfume, thanx for your work!

This one seems really intriguing to me. I’ve been wearing Maison Margela under the lemon tree a lot; which gives off a sparkling feel, so I would love to try something that smells like ginger ale. I already know what a finger lime is but Michelyn gave a great description on what it is. And, I appreciate him releasing this with the intent of Brighting up everyone’s day.

  • Mario Mata says:

I found the effervescent Moscow mule description very interesting as well as the introduction of the finger lime. Sadly I haven’t tried anything from this house. I’m in the USA

  • Kosisochukwu Don-Adinuba says:

Great Review as always. I loved the type of mood Michelyn and Sebastian describes the fragrance in. Refreshing, effervescent, bright, bubbly.feel good. This is the type of fragrance needed in Summer. I’ve never tried Goldfields & Banks fragrance before this is my first time
    I live in Rome, Italy

  • Lovely to learn a little more about this Australian finger lime, it sounds perfect for Summer. And it’s great to hear this little tidbits about releases that were meant to be, it’s great when a perfumer is so in control of their own work that they can rework launch dates. I love love love Sebastian’s comparison to a ginger ale and Moscow mule! Definitely on my list to try but the deal would be even sweeter if I were to win the giveaway 😉 I am based in the EU! Much love from Amsterdam 🙂

  • First of all, I’d like to thank Sebastian for yet another great review. His videos have become part of my daily life and I really want to thank him for that.

I was really pleased to learn about the Australian Finger Lime, a fruit that I did not know before but it sounds and looks awesome to me. That in combination with the effervescent ginger ale vibe makes it sound really intriguing to me. Almost like the perfect summer scent.

Overall I consider myself a fan of the brand with Pacific Rock Moss currently being my favorite Fragrance of their lineup and I would be headed over heals to be able to try this fragrance!

    I am living in Germany.

  • I enjoyed Sebastian’s notes breakdown as always and that he first got a hint of Aventus and the ginger ale reference 🙂 I also liked that t fragrance was released earlier than scheduled to bring us a little joy – learnt that courtesy of Michelyn’s intro. I’m in USA

  • “Bohemian Lime is by far the best feel good and long-lasting citrus fragrance ever”- sounds very promising. I enjoyed Sebastian description and find very interesting Michelyn’s info about Australian Finger lime.
    US

  • As someone who has lived in Australia (Byron Bay specifically!) and seen every season of Masterchef Australia, I am definitely familiar with Finger Lime! Since since it’s so hot here now, a feel good long lasting citrus is just what I’m looking for.
I am always grateful to Sebastian, and would love to smell something he calls “Limeventus.”

I live in Minneapolis, MN, and I have only ever tried Pacific Rock Moss.

  • Thanks for the information! I’m based in Arizona. I have not tried any fragrances from Goldfield & Banks yet, but this looks like an interesting place to start. I loved Sebastian’s review because of how he showed the 3 different colors of what the finger lime can look like. My initial thought was “green” but when I saw those amazing color options for this fruit (red or orange, in addition to green) I was even more intrigued. Mychelyn’s intro was comforting in that it seemed like the early arrival of this fragrance is a reward to the world for dealing with our lockdown, so it’s nice to be reminded that good things have come out of this challenge experience. As always thanks for the new information! This site is always a bright light in my day!

  • I like Sebastian’s honesty; it’s not that he dislikes the fragrance but you can tell he’s not crazy about it either. Nevertheless, he gives his honest opinion and he’s not trying to oversell it to us. He gives enough information and comparison so we can get a true idea of what this fragrance is about. But even if this fragrance may not be groundbreaking, I really want it because lime is one of my favorite notes. I have tried all Goldfield and Banks fragrances except Bohemian Lime. My favorite is Velvet Splendour (but i remember Southern Bloom was also really nice). I live in EU (Romania).

  • redwheelbarrow says:

I have really been dying to try this house. I love that they use local ingredients. I love all of these notes. Lime, sandalwood and coriander sound like such a beautiful combo. I’m also interested in the gingery effect Sebastian notices. I love ginger! Thanks for the draw. I’m in the US.

  • Bohemian lime sounds like a must-try scent! Thanks for the interesting review (had never realized there was an “Australian Caviar Lime!”)

    I’m in the US

  • I am pretty sure I have heard of Australian Finger Lime through a cooking show like “Chopped” or something. I certainly do like lime based scents over lemon. I really enjoyed Caswell-Massey’s Lime rendition and Juliette Has A Gun’s “Moscow Mule”. The idea of a summer cocktail seems to be a good fit for me in summer fragrances, such as “Saint Julep” and “Juniper Sling”. USA

  • wallygator88 says:

Thanks for the fascinating review Sebastian. I appreciate that you took the time to find out more about the Australian Finger Lime and give us that information. That’s what I really appreciate about your reviews.

I’ve known that finger limes are often used at high end resturants, almost like little citrus caviear pearls.

Michelyns introduction hits home- nothing like a citrus scent to make you feel good in difficult times.

I’ve previously tried Pacific Rock Moss from this house.

    Regards from WI, USA

  • Sebastian’s review was wonderful. The drydown of vetiver is really appealing to me. Vetiver is one of my favorite notes when blended with citrus.
    I live in the US.

  • I’m always on the lookout for new scents, and though I hadn’t previously heard of Goldfield and Banks, I was intrigued by the prospect of finger lime and other Australian native plants being used in fragrance. Sebastian’s review inspired me to order a sample of their range.

I’m lucky enough to be in Australia, where finger limes are among the many exotic fruits we occasionally get at local fresh food markets. The gingery quality Sebastian mentioned comes through in the flavour of the fruit itself, and from what I remember, the juice is somewhat more tart than that of a regular lime.

This should be a great scent, and I can’t wait to try it.

  • zhiang0113 says:

Sebastian’s review really helped me imagine how Bohemian Lime smells like despite never having any experience with Australian finger lime! I also liked how Michelyn’s review helped shed some light into the creation of the fragrance. I wonder what this new technology used in extracting the essence of the lime is? Would love to find out!

I live in the UK, and haven’t tried Goldfield and Banks’ fragrances before. I’ve had my eye on Bohemian Lime for quite a while though, ever since I saw the Fragrantica article on its launch! The unique finger lime note intrigued me. I would love to have an opportunity to experience it!

  • Jake Dauod says:

For Sebastian’s review, I really liked the opening snippet about the brand. I never knew that Goldfield and Banks used only Australian ingredients and I think that is really cool for a brand to stick to its roots. For Michelyn’s review, I like how she talked about the new innovative steps taken to make this perfume possible. I have never tried a fragrance from Goldfield and Banks, so I can’t say that I have a favorite. Kind regards from Illinois, USA.

  • I agree with Michelyn, new ingredients are very welcome in perfumery. The way Sebastian described the fragrance, it sounds so sparkly and first quenching, perfect for summer. Greetings from Romania 🙂

  • As someone who loves citrus in food and beverages and perfume, this sounds like a dream
I think it is difficult to describe a perfume or scent you are actually not familiar with before, something you haven’t smelled or tasted before and I liked the approach of comparing it to a cocktail.

Would absolutely love to try something truly new to me.
    I live in Romania (EU)

  • This finger lime is the weirdest fruit I have learned about in a long time. But I’m sure it is great! I haven’t tried anything from Goldfield and Banks so far but I have been admiring their creations for some time from afar. I am in the EU.

  • Miklos Szilagyi says:

I trust Sebastian’s nose, and I love fragrances that smell like cocktails. The zinginess in the fragrance I think would make it perfect for the English summer.

Thanks to Dimitri for trying to bring a little joy into our lives, and Michelyn for telling us what “Australian Caviar Lime” is.

Unfortunately, I have never tried any Goldfield and Banks fragrances yet, but I would love to try Bohemian Lime.

    I live in the UK.

  • Sunny Chaudhary says:

Really enjoyed the scent picture Sebastian painted of this fragrance. Ginger ale is my second favorite soda behind root beer so if it’s in that realm…great. Appreciate Michelyn letting us know Dmitri put this out early as a treat to lovers of this house. However, I personally loves pacific Rock Moss a lot. Really would like to win this bottle. Thanks for the giveaway opportunity!

  • I like this one, Sebastian says it’s a crowd pleaser which got me interested as I have never heard that term as it concerns fragrance. His passion in all the reviews makes it interesting and pleasing to one. I’m always curious to smell all his fragrance reviews.
I like how Dimitri summed up Goldfield and Banks Bohemian Lime.
I live in USA. I have not tried this house before.

  • Michael Prince says:

Michelyn. I enjoyed your intro on Goldfield and Banks Bohemian Lime and the Dimitris Weber unique idea to add the rare and native to Austrailia the Austailian Finger Lime that has caviar looking beads inside. Sebastian, describes the Moscow Mule lime, ginger, and effervescent qualities. It sounds like a mass appealling and compliment getting fresh fragrance with some unique qualities I would love to try. Unfortunately, I haven’t tried anything from Goldfield and Banks. I am from Ohio, USA.

  • immortano26 says:

Great review! But what makes a fragrance review great? It’s making a viewer to smell the fragrance as a whole and every ingredient separately as well while watching and listening to what he’s saying. This is exactly what i experienced. I had a pleasure to wear Pacific Rock Moss once, and it was pure joy, unfortunately, it wasn’t mine but i wish it was. I live in Poland, EU

  • Love Sebastian’s reviews! Ginger ale? And lime? Sign me up! It sounds amazing. I loooove citrusy scents, love ginger ale, LOVE Moscow mules! Thanks to Michelyn for telling us exactly what an Australian lime is – I had heard of caviar limes but thought it was, just a lime! From a tree – not a bush. Very interesting.
And yes, this would bring some joy into my life. I’m safe… but have rarely left my home in the past few months. I put on makeup today for the first time since February? Perfume every day – a little burst of sunshine.
Thanks for the draw – this would be an amazing addition to my perfumes! IN the US.

  • It was really amazing to find out about this new fragrance that sounds intriguing and makes me want to smell it so i can discover the journey that i’ll take by smelling it

  • Never heard of Byron Bay before, but exotic fresh scents I really like, I’m a barber after all. Perfume concentration should equal good longevity and decent projection.
Pacific Rock Moss i received for my last birthday , and i’m loving it. Half of it is already empty.
Thanks to Sebastian for the review , Michelyn for the intro and the pictures complimenting it in such a nice way , and also Goldfield and Banks for the giveaway.USA based

I had to Google Finger Lime to be honest, never heard of it before. Dimitri claims it’s the best feels citrus, and I have to say I’m curious to try it now. Being a vain man compliments are really important to me, and I have a feeling Bohemian Lime will get me lots of it.
Not only tried, but have Goldfield and Banks fragrance Desert Rosewood, best of the bunch.

  • I’m dying here….this….sounds….amazing. I’m a lover of citrus fragrances and this has my name all over it. Exciting to see a fragrance using new notes. Sebastian says ginger ale and fizzy. Just pure greatness. It’s great seeing Goldfield and Banks putting out scents out of the basic norm. Pacific Rock Moss is the only one I have tried and have thoroughly enjoyed it. Excited about this draw. Thank you. In the USA.

  • IvanVelikov says:

Nice job both Sebastian and Michelyn . I do like the fact Dimitri Weber is using a lot of local ingredients.Australian niche brands are killing it lately. Goldfield and Banks, Map of the Heart , Fort & Manle and Grandiflora are leading the way.
Moscow Mule comparison makes me want to try Bohemian Lime as soon as possible. Awesome warm weather cocktail .
Like most my first touch with Goldfield & Banks fragrances was with the famous Pacific Rock Moss , their most famous fragrance. I don’t find it masculine, but leaning more feminine instead.
Out of curiosity bought the discovery set for £30 while in Scotland, not sure how much it costs in US.I strongly recommend getting it directly from Goldfield and Banks website, and not from online boutiques. When you get it from GB website you get coupon code for £30 , for the future purchase of 100ml bottle. Pretty sure Goldfield and Banks run the same discovery set promo for the US market.
No doubt Dessert Rosewood is my favorite . It’s deep, rich, full and balsamic. Not only smells great, but it’s the most powerful Goldfield and Banks fragrance. It’s a loud one , no doubt about it.
Usually back and forth between USA and Scotland, and I hope soon I’ll be able to return to my usual routine.
Cheers from VA, hopefully with Moscow Mule 🙂

  • There are different strains of Bohemian Lime , smelling and tasting differently . The commercially grown one is cheaper, more sour and there’s greenness in it , like a pine needles. There’s a one yellow one that’s less sour, and it’s something in between the commercially produced one and grapefruit. There are jams made of finger limes , but generally speaking it’s expensive to work with it , and even though it’s tastes different, the price difference between finger limes and other citruses is huge. On the Goldfield and Banks collage and on the far left of the title picture of Sebastian video, is the commercially grown one I was referring to, the other two strains I have not seen.
All above is from counalierie point of view.
Fragrance itself reminded me of lime and ginger cupcakes, staples at my bakery. I could easily make them like the cocktail, but with big B , alcohol infused pastries are not exactly legal at the state I’m living. To sell of course, do what you want at home.
Finished a bottle of Pacific Rock Moss last year.
Appreciate the review, and the giveaway campaign.

What a great thing to do by Dimitri to release this a year early to bring some extra joy to our lives right now. Lord knows we need it! I too, like Sebastian, thought it was regular old lime that we use every day here in the states, until I read Michelyn’s introduction, explaining what it was and telling us the actual lime used. Thank you for that tid bit of info Michelyn! I was about to look up what an Australian finger lime looked like, but Sebastian beat me to it by showing us in the video. Very interesting…. I am that much more intrigued after seeing it. I love lime anyway, but adding a different type of lime makes it that much more intriguing! Mix that with the other notes in Bohemian Lime, and this sounds like a fantastic scent, and an even better one for this time of year! I have yet to try any of Goldfield and Banks creations, but I do need to get a few samples. There are several I would love to try including Pacific Rock Moss and Wood Infusion….. really, the whole line sounds great! Thank you Dimitri, for bringing us this great sounding cocktail early! Thank you Sebastian for giving us your take on Bohemian Lime and for the background on Australian finger limes. A big thanks to Michelyn for putting this all together, as always, and for the info in your introduction. It is greatly appreciated! Huge thanks to Luckyscent and Dimitri for this awesome opportunity! This is a true treat! Good luck to all! Sending well wishes to everyone from Delaware! Stay safe all!

“Bohemian Lime is by far the best feel good and long-lasting citrus fragrance ever”.
Now that’s what I call bold statement Wow .
My skin is dry , I intend to check if it’s true. Ginger, woods and lime is a classic combination.
Esxence 2021 I’m certain it will happen , when exactly I’m not certain dates are moving forward…and then backwards .
My favorite Goldfield and Banks is Southern Bloom. It is unique , but proper testing is a must. It’s chameleon type of fragrance-changes a lot depending of the weather , humidity …. Also if it’s rainy and hot at the same time i get strong red wine smell from it. Do not blind-buy it , but sample first.I personally love it , but some may not. Thanks guys

  • The review was very accurate. I know this because I just received a free 2ml sample today. What I really love about the fragrance is that the lime is dominant throughout the dry down.
The introduction is also very informative as it brings to light information many reviews don’t focus on

Sebastian makes detailed reviews which help me decide on perfumes, even though i’ve never smelled them. His passion for perfumes is great to watch. And Michelyn’s introduction made this dreamy scent so desired for me. I’ve learned about Goldfield & Banks through a person I was dating and I loved the ‘Wood Infusion’ perfume he had, lasted all day as well. I haven’t been able to buy one myself but I am thinking about purchasing the sample collection to try them all out. I have a feeling the Bohemian Lime will be my favourite, or maybe Desert Rosewood.. Either way, I would love to try them! Since Dimitri Weber is from Belgium and so am I, I feel connected to this brand in a way. I hope I am making a chance 🙂 Thanks Michelyn! I am from Belgium.

Thank you for the review. I’m entering the giveaway. Looking forward to discovering Goldfield & Banks

  • It was reference to a G&B and their new Australian native release. Also, explained the gist of what you can expect from the fragrance
