Xerjoff Erba Gold Review 2023 + Sun-Drenched Giveaway

Xerjoff Erba Gold
Xerjoff Erba Gold by Steven

Revamped in style yet unchanged in essence, Xerjoff Erba Gold dons a sleek, lacquered new look, setting a distinguished tone from its beloved predecessor, Erba Pura, known since early 2019. Where Erba Pura bursts with a tart, red berry vibrancy, Xerjoff Erba Gold embodies the bright, golden hue it sports.

Envision a sun-drenched Italian orchard in each whiff: a medley of ripe, zesty citruses basking in the afternoon glow, seamlessly blending into a heart of crisp green apples, melon, and ripe pear. This fragrance is further enriched with a mélange of aromatic spices, underpinned by a cozy, woody base that adds depth and warmth. Both scents share a hallmark musky base, a nod to their shared lineage. – Olya Bar, Editor

Notes: Amalfi Lemon, Calabrian Bergamot, Brazilian Orange, Ginger, Green Apple, Melon, Pear, Cloves, Guatemalan Cardamom, Madagascar Cinnamon, Musk, Amber, Madagascan Vanilla, Woody Notes.

  • It seems Xerjoff Erba Gold is a true flanker that will remind the wearer of the original. It has a zesty, citrusy opening and the perfume ends on a warm, woody note. It follows the DNA of original Erba Pura but takes a different path in the first 20-30 minutes before the similarities emerge. I am in US.

  • LATONYA GIPSON-BOWMAN says:

Great video by Steven and article by Michelyn…this fragrance sounds like a delicious bowl of fruit with a little bit of spice. I would love to add this Fragrance to my collection. Thank you for the opportunity.

  • Ramses Perez says:

Erba Pura is in my opinion a top echelon release from Xerjoff (Top 5) and I’m very glad for this inspiration. Also, the bottle is to die for, it looks like the sun! I knew it was coming but was not aware it was this quick. This golden aura Steven speaks about does give that golden, sun-drenched feeling. I like that Olya mentioned the spicy component, clearly setting it apart from Erba Pura. I’d love to get my hands on this one. Cheers from NJ, USA.

  • Thank you Olya for the introduction and the mention of the shared lineage with Erba Pura which I sampled and promptly added to my long list. I also enjoyed Steve’s video review as always and appreciate his trying to describe the nuanced differences between Erba Pura and Erba Gold. I would love to try this out and thank you Twisted Lily for the giveaway. I’m in TX USA

  • Yummy! The Melon and Pear combination sound very juicy and delicious like a tropical dessert. Steven described it as a much brighter version of Erba Pura which intrigued me. Would love to try out. Great giveaway and shoutout to Twisted Lily for always carrying great niche houses. Greetings from California, USA.

  • brownboii305 says:

I love xerjoff! I’ve tried naxos and would love to try this! I like that longevity is 9 hours and can be used for fall but also spring

  • robillard_rn says:

Steven stated Erba Pura Gold is a brighter, spicier version of the original fragrance. Since I love the Erba Pura, this new fragrance seems to be what is needed in my growing collection to make it complete. The notes sounds lovely! Thank you for this awesome opportunity.

  • I love the O.G. which I wore a couple days ago, so this one with the added spice adds a different direction. This would be a treasured addition.

    Indiana USA

  • This sounds delectable. I love that Olya said it still maintains that signature muskiness in the base. The switch from tart red fruits to bright citruses backed by a light touch of spice excites me. Steven talked about the melon and pear combo being really bright and juicy, which is another aspect of the original that made it so great. I’m excited to see what this brighter, more bubbly take on it is like. Best of luck to all. I live in NC, USA.

  • Greg Graham Sr says:

Hello Steven and Cafleurebon ,XERJOFF Erba Pura I don’t own but I love the way it smells . I love the Golden color of this one and the fruit that in it. Thank you for your generosity.

  • Valencia Esau says:

I’m huge fan of Erba Pura because I love fruity fragrances. I can’t wait to try this flanker! It sounds absolutely mouth-watering.

  • AttentionSpann says:

Xerjoff Erba Gold is a captivating fragrance that boasts an array of enchanting notes. It opens with a vibrant blend of citrusy bergamot and sweet mandarin, creating a refreshing and uplifting start. The heart reveals rich floral notes, including elegant jasmine and delicate neroli, which add a touch of femininity and grace. As the scent settles, warm and sensual base notes of precious amber, creamy vanilla, and musk emerge, creating a comforting and indulgent finish. I have had the chance to sample this and I would love to have one of my own.

  • Amazing review, kind of looks like a smoother version than the original. I hope to get my nose on this very soon!!

  • From the written intro I knew to envision a sun-drenched Italian orchard in each whiff. From the video I learned this could be considered a flanker fragrance to Erba Pura. US

  • What I found most interesting based on Steven’s video review is although the fragrance has similarities to “Erba Pura” it’s spicier rendition is one component that sets it apart from “Erba Pura”. I’m a big fan of fruity scents so this one sounds like it’s right up my alley. It’s not overly sweet has an effervescent opening, can be used during the fall and winter and seems pretty versatile. What I enjoyed about Olya’s introduction is how she described both “Erba Pura” and “Erba Gold” sharing a musky base which is a hallmark and nod to their shared lineage. Thank you for the opportunity. New York, USA.

  • AromaDulce73 says:

Erba Gold sounds great. A Brazilian orange note? Interesting. Love the presentation of this bottle. That pear, melon combo is a combo I don’t think I ever smelled. Add spices to this I can only imagine the scent. Like Steven said in his video: a fruity “A Golden Aura” of a fragrance.

  • JanikeJervis says:

Wonderful introductory article by Olya and great review by Steven. Erba Pura Gold sounds just as good as the original Erba Pura, fruity, bright and effervescent and now with the addition of spices and that woody base it makes it also a great option for fall wear. Would love the opportunity to have this in my collection. Thanks Twisted Lily for this opportunity.

  • Carletta Reed says:

I think was is most interesting is the bottle and the comparison to Eurba Pura that I love.

  • Love the original and from Stevens review this sounds like a true flanker respecting the OG Pura. Looking forward to trying.

  • Vasyl Shyyka says:

    I love Xerjoff!
    One of my favorite house.
So many new releases this year …
Very intrigued by this Erba Gold!
Nots are awesome! Should be a good fragrance

  • Olya introduction really hooked me in! It sounds like Erba Gold is going to still have a musky fruity DNA to it but with some added citrus and spices which I think would be super nice to balance out that musk in the OG Erba Pura. As for Steven’s review I like how honest he was about the similarities between Pura and Gold but he also went through how the Citrus adds a beautiful almost effervescent touch to the fragrance! That part makes me super excited! I am located in NJ

  • Thankyou so much for the opportunity. I have always used steven’s expertise as a guide to choose my own frags and it helps me a lot. Loved the opening notes and how it was described. Cant wait to try it.

  • If I have to define it in 3 words after the review, I would say its sunshine in bottle. I Like how steven’s reviews have so much clarity and depth, that I can almost smell the fragrance.

  • PerfumesforLife says:

Olya’s introduction made me go check the video because I love fruity fragrances. The sun imaging on a fruity bowl is a beautiful image. Steven’s discussion on how different this fragrance at the beginning from the original erba pura made me go read about it. being “bright” and “sun drenched” on the original makes me really want to try it because pure fruity notes makes it lean a little tarty. I am glad I heard about this citrusy bright spicy version..

I would love to try it. USA

  • I’ve already read the Serio Momo interview it in the past, but I read it again like Michelyn suggested, and I have to say not just Sergio Momo, but all Italians truly love their country , cherish Italian culture, and are proud of their heritage, and home town , I love it.
When I think of it , I like everything about Erba Gold, the spices , the musk and especially the delicious pile of juicy fruits, and of course spectacular looking bottle.
I really like the two , or three way reviews , when often I can detect some differences in the opinions of the contributors.
Olya -> more emphasis on the zesty fruits , and the “crisp green apple” , more woody and musky base
Steven -> more tropical juicy fruits, and ambery vanilic base , nothing about the “crisp green apple”
I definitely need to revisit Erba Gold . I said revisit because I’ve smelled Erba Gold in UK , for many years it was a limited edition made for Selfridges, premier department store similar to Harrods, and Neiman Marcus in US. As far as I can remember Erba Gold was more tropical , less zesty , and also less musky than the original Erba Pura, so technically I’m leaning more towards Steven’s opinion on Erba Gold. The bottle was also wrapped in velvet , like on the 2nd picture, the one Steven in holding is glossy.
The best Xerjoff fragrances in my opinion are Cruz del Sur II , followed by Golden Dallah , and then comes my old love Lira.

  • Most important thing I got was that it’s a citrus/melon scent. Sweet without being overly sweet. Spicy without being overly spicy.

  • Kenneth Williams says:

Steven i’ve got to get my hands on this fruit salad cocktail of a fragrance and i respect the fact that Olya brought up the original Erba Pura to help describe the new and improved one.

  • whimsical diva says:

Very intrigued by Olya’s description of the combination of fruits – citruses and apples/melons – and spices. I don’t think I’ve ever tried a spicy fruity scent, so very curious about this one. After watching Steven’s video description about the differences between the flanker and the OG, I’m convinced to try a citrus in the winter, which I tend not to usually.

I’d love to enter the draw. I live in California

  • Olya’s description of a sun drenched Italian orchard sounds dreamy!

Steven’s describes it over and over again like Erba Pura, which says it all for me. He does mention that you can tell it is a flanker but still definitely Erba Pura. I do appreciate that he said “if you like fruit” because…yeah…Erba Pura.

    I’m in the US

  • The scent sounds so delicious. I dont have fruity scents in my collection so this would be a great addition. I can use it at work, meet ups or even on the normal casual days as well. Thanks Steven and olya.

  • Fruity… lots of ruits. Since I love erba pura, I am surely going to like this one. The whole sun drenched italian vibe as descirbed by Olya just wants me to smell it already.

  • NICKOLAOS Kiliaris says:

I love xerjoff! I’ve tried naxos and would love to try this! I like that longevity is 9 hours and can be used for fall but also spring

  • Thanks to all, Olya and steven with twisted lily for the opportunity. I have been a fan of fruity fragrances and I think I would love it. The fruiteness on this one feels seductive rather than cloying.
    USA

  • scenchanting says:

After Steven’s review, I felt this scent is so sensual and fruity at the same time. Definitely a much more refined version of Erba Pura to my understanding.
And I totally agree with what Olya said about shared musky base. I feel the same.

  • Thanks, Olya, for the introduction and mentioning the shared lineage with Erba Pura. I’m excited to try it and add it to my collection. Steven’s video review was great, highlighting the nuanced differences between Erba Pura and Erba Gold. Excited to try it, and thanks for the giveaway! New Jersey, USA

  • ianbradleyandrews says:

Stevens reviews are always great. He does a great job describing things top to
Bottom. This perfume sounds so fruity and bright. I’d love to win and live in Indiana.

  • I love Erba Pura! It was my first bottle from the house of Xerjoff. It will forever be in my collection. This review intrigued me because I feel at its core, the similarities are present, but I really want to see where Erba Gold takes on a life of its own. I want to get to know its personality and how it comes to life. I really like the description in the article. The imagery created made me all the more anxious to get my nose on this!

  • rba Gold encapsulates the essence of a fresh, fruity, and musky blend, making it an enticing and well-balanced scent. If you appreciate fragrances that are both invigorating and enduring, Erba Gold appears to be a compelling choice. The combination of yellow citrus and mango notes suggests a tropical and vibrant character. I would love to get this as my first niche fragrance.

  • Interesting that Steven says this is better for winter and maybe spring, I would have thought it would be good for warmer weather since I see people are saying this is a slightly more refined version of Erba Pura. NYC USA

  • Loved steven’s video and how he descirbed the whole fragarance. What a lovely review. I have tried a few other’s from the house of xerjoff and loved the all. Looking forward to trying it.
    USA

  • Here from Steven’s channel. Thanks for the giveaway opportunity. I love fruity fragrances and this one certainly fits in well. The bottle itself looks so pretty, it would be a treat getting to try this out.

  • The zesty opening as per steven really intrigues me with pear and melon in the heart notes. I am already starting to like it. I think it’s best suited for the winters considering it’s tad bit sweeter although it would be intersting to compare it with my bottle of erba pura.

  • Fragrance collector says:

I am sure just like the OG this is going in my top 5 list. I’d love to get my hands on this. As always loved Steven’s overall review and the presentation looks amazing as well. I find melon accord with amalfi lemon very interesting.

  • whispering moonlight says:

Another informative review by Steven. This combo of notes sounds divine and I love the way Steven describes the melon peach combo and how this fragrance is unique while being reminiscent of Erba Pura.

  • Really intriguing sounding fragrance! Thanks Steven and Olya for a great review. You always enlighten me to the broader scopes of the world of fragrances.

  • ForTheLoveofFrag says:

Steven is the first person I’ve seen review this & I must say, it has been nicely done. Description of the notes is quite interesting and would like to try it I’m sure I’d love it.

  • I like the description of spicy fruit. Green apple and pear notes combined with orange and lemon sound fabulous. Thanks for the opportunity to sniff. Mich USA

  • I absolutely love gourmandsand Green Apple, Melon, Pear notes with spiciness…yes yes…After watching the video I want this fragrance even more.

  • “Very close in smell to Erba Pura” – Steven, that’s all I need to know. 🙂 Thank you both for your reviews, as always!

  • Odor Aeternitatis says:

This is my first time hearing about this one… I am yet to experience my first xerjoff fragrance, this one sounds like it smells amazing. Interesting note breakdown and great presentation. Thanks

  • As always it was a great review by Steven. It was a great description of the fragrance the breakdown of the notes. I’v been hearing about this fragrance a lot lately but it’s Stevens review and description that makes me really want this fragrance. Thank you for an opportunity to win a bottle. USA

  • Just finished reading Michelyn’s Interview, It was wonderful to read of Sergio Momo’s creative thoughts and thanks to olya and steven too for the review.
I am so in love with the house of Xerjoff! I’m a huge fan of green apple and zesty accords and hearing Steven talk about that together with the other notes such as cinnamon makes me excited for this Xerjoff offering.

  • Just discovered this fragrance today! I definitely want to try this one out! As always Steven’s description of the fragrance is so detailed and makes me very eager to smell this fragrance!

  • The description Steven and Olya have given regarding the note blend of this fragrance leads me to believe this is the fruity fragrance I have been looking for! From USA!

  • Definitely loved and enjoyed Steven’s review of this frag. I also love Erba Pura, not to mention, a huge fan of gourmand fragrances, so this one has peaked my interest, and would love to be blessed, with a bottle! Thankyou

  • The reviews paint this perfume as the epitome of a warm, Mediterranean evening in a bottle. The warm, sun drenched fruit, the aromatic spice, comforting wood, and clean musk evoke strong images of a beautiful woman walking in sun coated citrus orchards; intriguing, sexy, and fresh. Olya makes me feel like this is a perfect golden Flanker to Pura and Steven makes me excited to wear this on a date night and maybe put it on my partner as well, given the unisex nature.

  • I always love, how Steven makes fragrance relatable. I can watch a video with confidence and know that he accurately describes a fragrance and can purchase a fragrance based on his review. Also olya, thanks for the well written introduction.

  • I personally enjoy Stevens insights and reviews! Ive tried Naxos from the brand and I would love the opportunity to try even more in the future! I wish everyone good luck!

  • From the golden bottle and the way Olya helped me envision a sun-drenched Italian orchard with beautiful zestys fruits, Erba gold sounds splendid in everyway. Felt like I had a fruit basket right in front of me while reading/watching. Steven always knows how to paint a picture with his reviews as well, thank you for this article. Im from the US.

I really love how Steven explains and describes each note in the fragrance and how they blend and work together. A spicy fruity scent seems perfect. Steven has done a great job describing it.

  • MysticalArugula says:

The layers of sweetness and spiciness in this fragrance sound so delicious! Interested in how the melon note plays in the composition. Hope to try this out from the giveaway! From USA

  • Swetrosysillage says:

Steven makes this sound delicious. Can’t wait to get my hands on it. I am i’m really fascinated by the notes in this perfume, and would love to have a bottle as I love Bergamot & Pear – Thank you

  • Hearing that it is a spicy take on Erba Pura made me really want a chance to get a bottle. Thanks for the opportunity.

  • Erba gold seems to have a great balance in it’s notes, without an over the top sweetness or spiciness in building up the “golden aura” that steven mentions. I’m very interested on the difference that Brazilian Orange has compared to other citruses on the scent profile. Great description and introduction as always by Steven and Olya.

  • Markel bowmam says:

This flanker sounds like a powerhouse especially with that extra spicy kick to it . I know the performance on this will be amazing, waiting to get my nose on it.

  • Wow, this sounds incredible! spicy and fruity ? YES! A combo of pear and melon? Another resounding YES!!
I love Xerjoff for both their quality and longevity. I’d be thrilled to add this to my collection!

  • fragtrail909 says:

This sounds really great. I really like how Steven described it as fruity scent with apt mix of spiciness without overpowering sweetness. All while being mass appealing and having niche quality. I would love a bottle. It also looks very cool.

  • I’ve been eyeing this one for a while and really appreciate Steven’s informative review. It’s such an interesting mix of notes – although I expected it to be more different from the erba pura – but seems right up my alley. Gourmand with some lovely accords… sounds incredible!

  • It sounds like an fruity, spicy, vanillic masterpiece!! Thank you CaFleureBon, Twisted lily and Steven from Redolessence for the opportunity.

  • shining stones says:

Steven always somehow knows how to describe a fragrance!!!! I don’t think I have anything like that in my collection!!!! Blend of fruits, spices with amber, musky? I’m in!!!! Thank you for this amazing giveaway!!!!

  • Perpetual collector says:

I love how Steven describes the notes on this fragarnce.. I’m a fan of complexity and balance. The fruity notes. Oh, and how he describes the fruity note’s sweetness being balanced out by spicy accord. This sounds incredibly lovely.

  • Lophoflora336 says:

I like that Steven points out that although it has similarities to Erba Pura, it still has it’s own unique character to set it apart. I’m a huge gourmand fan especaially fruity notes so would love to win this one.

  • David Furman says:

Olya’s descriptions are always painting a picture with well thought out vivid imagery. Amazes me sometimes. Xerjoff appears to have created another great just before the new year. Steven made it sound like there weren’t any obvious extremes. The sweet doesn’t overpower the citrus and disrupt the balance of the composition. I own an alleged Erba Pura clone called Bharara King that I love. Never smelled any xerjoffs but I know they are luxury and quality products based off my research. Steven is a special reviewer because I never hear him put out negativity. He also gives an honest, unbiased insight on what’s in front of him whether it’s a cheap designer or high end niche. You don’t get fair analysis when money and influence overshadow the market. Italian perfumery has its special way with citruses and I’m interested in how it interacts with the spices, etc. This would be lovely to start trying in moderate weather and know you will have a ray of sunshine in your arsenal that can cut through the darkest of days.
Uplifting, bright, and luxurious is what I expect. Please let me win this…from Jacksonville NC.

I am really excited that Steven reviewed this one! I have been curious about it and i have come to trust Stevens opinion on fragrances over the years. My attention was captured by him mentioning apple and the pear notes that are in this fragrance. Thanks for the review and the draw!

  • LavenderJuliette says:

Nice in-depth video review. This sounds like an excellent fragrance for sunny warm summers. Definitely looks high quality and well blended frag.

  • As always I enjoyed reading Olya’s introduction and Steven’s video review of Xerjoff Erba gold. From the review, it seems to be a very balanced perfume, sweet and gourmand, but not overly sweet. Cinnamon, pear, apple, musk sound lovely. Thanks for the introduction and a very generous draw. From USA.

  • Controlledbyscent31 says:

I really enjoyed Steven’s comparisons to the OG erba pura fragrance while still stating that it goes in its own direction. I also appreciated his mention of the zesty citruses in the opening which make it even better. Thank you for the generous giveaway!

Well-blended fruity notes with gorgeous yellow bottle, Xerjoff’s quality and Steven’s eloquent praise for erba gold! I am all in! I look forward to smelling this! Thank you for introducing me to it and to twisted lily!

  • Yet another crowd pleasing scent from the house of Xerjoff. I think one can never go wrong with this scent, definitely seems to me a big hit for winter/fall wear. Thankyou steven for the review and Olya for the intro.

  • Really looking forward to getting my nose on Erba Gold. I’m just starting to get into Xerjoff fragrances and definitely see this as a perfect one to try especially with winters right around the corner. Can’t wait to see Xerjoff’s future releases!

  • The timing of this review is great for me. I have been on the hunt for a fruity fragrance. Somehow when I saw this fragrance released I imagined nothing but an orchard like olya pointed out in her into lol. Steven has managed to really make me want to experience this one.
Thank you for the review. In the USA.

  • I think Steven could pretty much sell me any fragrance in the world haha. The way he talks about fragrances paints a picture in my head with all the notes and it just intrigues me so much that how this gorgeous scent must be smelling like! Loved the introduction by Olya too.
    Good luck to all participants!

  • I’ve wanted to try a Xerjoff offering for some time now. What really got my attention about Steven’s review is the presence of pear notes in this fragrance. I’d really like to add this to my collection. Appreciate the opportunity of this giveaway.

  • I loved steven’s review and his attention to detail and vivid descriptions really allowed me to experience the perfume as if I was in the room with him. Takes me rightfully to an Italian orchard on a warm afternoon, I am really in love with this scent.

  • Erba Gold sounds gorgeous! I love Olya’s description of a sun-drenched Italian Orchard – it makes the perfume sound so warm and beautiful and serene. Steven made it sound so well balanced with the fruits being a touch sweet and a touch spicy. I’d love the opportunity to try a bottle! I’m in MN, USA.

  • Dwayne Alexander says:

I find the zesty opening and overall performance to be very appealing based on Steven’s review.

  • Enjoyed very much the interview of Michelyn to Sergio Momo likewise Steven’s video and Olya’s introduction. Truth be told, I’ll love to add this gem to my small Xerjoff collection. It will truly make my Christmas amazing and special. Thank you for the great opportunity to participate in this draw, commenting from Orlando, Fl. USA.

  • Erba Pura, in my view, stands out as a top-tier release from Xerjoff. When reflecting on it, I find myself appreciating every aspect of Erba Gold – from the enticing spices and musk to the delightful medley of juicy fruits. The stunning bottle design definitely adds to its allure. What caught my attention in Olya’s introduction was her depiction of both “Erba Pura” and “Erba Gold” sharing a musky base, a distinctive characteristic that pays homage to their common lineage. I also found Steve’s video review enjoyable, as he skillfully attempted to articulate the subtle differences between Erba Pura and Erba Gold.

Followed on Instagram. Much love from NY, US! 🙂

  • I like the idea of this being a spicier version of the original.
I an considering buying it blindly for my wife for Christmas.
Love your reviews love your site.

  • Olya’s introduction makes me think of a warm weather vacation in the countryside, citrus perfuming the fresh air. I’m curious about the musky base that links both Erba fragrances. Steven’s video showed off the flashy presentation. He mentioned Erba gold is delightfully sweet (with an effervescent, orange opening) without being saccharine, which is an important balance. Sounds fun!

    I’m in the USA.

  • Thanks for the generous giveaway. I liked how steven described the opening on this scent and how olya pictured an orchard. I’d love to try it out.

  • Renato Carotti says:

Some people are put off by Erba Pura, which baffles me imo. Erba Pura Gold sounds like a spicier version of the original fragrance. Maybe one that others would perfer over the original. Since I personally like Erba Pura, Gold seems to be the next bottle need for my collection. The notes sounds delicious and you could never go wrong with Xerjoff!!

  • Beautiful presentation for this new release. I would love to try the Gold edition of the well known Erba. A citrus spin replacing the ripe berrries sounds like just the pick-me-up needed to get us through the coming winter here in the US. Steven’s descriptions are always so realistic, breaking down each note in detail. Thanks for the opportunity. US/KY.

  • This sounds like a ray of sunshine for brightening winter days! The references to Golden colors and brightness really tempt as we enter the dark season.

  • Hello from Florida, and thank you to Steven and Olya for their reviews!

Erba Gold sounds like such a gorgeous, tropical scent — I’d love to give it a try!

  • Erba Pura is a great perfume from Xerjoff, and I had no idea that a flanker was peering it’s head in the horizon. Glad to hear it is a worthy sequel too. Erba Pura was very bright already, so when Steven said this was even brighter I was caught by surprise. Hope I can try it.

I have an address in the USA.

  • Xerjoff Erba Gold sounds like a bowl of sun-drenched fruit supported by some warm spice, vanilla and wood. This seems like a great flanker to the the original but with a hint of warmth. Great review by Steven. I’m in the US.

  • I like Xerjoff because I have a bottle of 40knots and smells lux. I also have a few clones plus waiting on Naxos in the mail. Heard good things about Urba Pura based off hype and reviews so as soon as I get my prize in of this bottle, I’ll make sure to overspray.

  • Erba Gold is just beautiful, just as its predecessor also composed by Christian Carbonnel (or of you prefer Chris Maurice) and Laura Santander. Also to my knowledge the fragrance Olya and Steven are reviewing is the same as the original UK only release. Never smelled the new shiny bottle, but I went to my basement, found it , and I’m literally smelling the sample of my UK release right now.
I agree with Olya, Erba Gold is more…golden, more ripe , but at least on my skin is sweeter, more vanilic and ambery, and I feel the musk is either different, or toned down. Like Steven green apple i don’t get. As far as more prominent fruits mango and melon are dominating more, instead of the more citruses in Erba Pura. Cinnamon and cardamom are also main players on the field, Steven thinks the same way too.
To me Erba Gold is more tropical than Italian , and its done not in a modern way , ingredients are superb, and it’s blended perfectly.
I love a lot of Xerjoff fragrances, so it’s really hard for me to pick my top 3 , depending on my mood:
    1. Mamluk
    2. Alexandria II
    3. Tony Iommi Monkey Special
All profiles I already follow , including the man himself @joffmomo , @waltherp99bg

  • New big time fragrance hype train is coming, a good reason, Erba Gold feels special ✅
Ideally balanced, smooth fragrance with lots of different fruits , spices , woods , and grown up sweetness , and it’s made by Xerjoff ? I believe I’d feel in good spirits wearing Erba Gold.

“Envision a sun-drenched Italian orchard in each whiff”

The warm aura and uplifting vibe is so Italian , it represents the beauty , passion, love for music, and sensuality of Italian man, and women.
Ermenegildo Zegna Cloth tailored bespoke yellow suit with wide notch lapels, 2 corozo buttons, ticket pocket and double vent is the suit I’d pair Erba Gold with. I can complete the outfit with a matching yellow cotton waistcoat with 5 buttons and pure silk tie with matching pocket square paisley design blue and gold. Tobacco leather Oxford shoes one the feet , and I’d feel fantastic all together.
I’m also impressed by the Erba Gold presentation . Like Michelyn told us once , it’s all about craftsmanship for Sergio Momo, and for me too , I’m a tailor after all.
My favorite Xerjoff is Lira .
Thank you Olya , Steven , Twisted Lily

I loved Steven’s review and Olya’s introduction to Xerjoff Erba Gold. I’ve been very excited about this new Erba line from Xerjoff. I like the Italian Orchard fruity fresh vibes this fragrance possesses like its predecessor Erba Pura. You get that effervescent orange opening with the sweet fruitiness along warm spicy cinnamon and cardmom. It sounds like it has a lot of similarities to Erba Pura but goes a little spicier that sounds amazing. I am from the USA.

  • I recently purchased my first Xerjoff perfume, Dama Bianca, and I fell in love with the brand! I’m looking for more spicy fragrances for the colder months, but am still very much a fruity fragrance lover, so this sounds right up my alley! The mentions of a musky base by Olya with brighter, spicy notes by Steven, sounds like a well blended, unique fragrance.

Would love to win to continue building out my Xerjoff collection! This fragrance and Bouquet Ideale are the next on my list!

  • Learning about Xerjoff Erba Gold was such a delight , Steven and Michelyn are already a great duo , Steven and Olya work very well together too.
The different facets set up by the perfumer are impressive , even though similar , Erba Gold is not the same like Erba Pura like i was expecting, it’s more woody , there’s different fruits including green apple, and it’s more spicy .
In the new Xerjoff i also like the “golden hue” , and warmth, posh fragrance at its best , I need such perfumes in my collection.
I’d wear Erba Gold on a date , or going out to a bar. I’ll look for samples , my expectations are really high
Out of all Xerjoff lines, my favorites are Casamorati Lira , Opera , Italica and Amabile. Instagram follower

  • Oh boy, I am a huge Xerjoff fan and Erba Gold just makes me want to try it so much.
Steven did a fantastic job here.
I really find a Erba Pure spicier version so much interesting and knowing the quality Xerjoff delivers makes me more intrigued.
I hope I win this one.

My wife and I are both fans of Erba Pura. I enjoyed how Steve and Olya describe the “gold hue” presented with this flanker of the original. The spices and citrus top seem very alluring to me.

Thanks for the great review, Steven

Xerjoff always makes fragrances that are pretty interesting, wearable and have beautiful presentations.

I love the blazing opening of citrus and melon, such a cool, juicy and uplifting way to open the fragrance. The sweet greenness of cardamom is a nice play along with this, moving into the use vanilla and musk. An uplifting fragrance for the cooler days.

I felt like strolling through an Italian orchard when I read Olya’s description. The effervescent and tangy opening Steven described sounds golden indeed. I like fruity and citrus fragrances and I am happy that Steven mentioned that Erba Gold can be worn in the winter.
    I live in the USA.

  • I’m aware Erba Pura is praised by so many people worldwide , I see Olya and Steven are a big fans of both the original, and the Erba Gold.
Through Its golden hue people worldwide could imagine Italy , and its rich culture , historical sightseeings , but also its seductive and sensual nature.
Olya and Steven takes on the Erba Gold , made me think of being in Torino (Turin) , making and later on eating Mango , Melon and Pear Walnut Ice Cream Layer Cake, with Chilled Amalfi Lemon Caramel.
The best Casamorati, the best Xerjoff , and i believe one of the best gourmands ever is called … Italica. Smells very similar to Toffee Almond Cake (traditional recipe) , famous Italian Cake. I’m 99% sure the cake was the inspiration behind Italica.
Appreciate Olya’s golden hue introduction , Steven’s review, and the giveaway campaign

  • Xerjoff Erba Gold is a fragrance with a character, that has a lot of layers, fruity spicy , ambery , juicy with nice musky undertones .
I love such non-linear , artistic creations , something to be expected of all Xerjoff fragrances of course. I like the way Olya filled us in about how Erba Pura bursts with a tart , red berry vibrancy, Xerjoff Erba Gold embodies the bright, golden hue it sports. So uplifting , so vibrant … happy fragrance with a beautiful new bottle.
Naxos and La Capitale are my favorite Xerjoff beauties , and I’d love to compare them with Erba Gold, all 3 are close enough to gourmand sweet , but not quite.
    Thanks for the draw
