Perfumed Plume Awards For Fragrance Journalism 2021 Finalists

Perfumed Plume Awards 2021 finalists perfume stories

The Perfumed Plume Awards now in its 6th year of recognizing editorial excellence has announced the 2021 Finalists on April 20, 2021.

And it was a great year for perfume stories, although once again the Pandemic prevented any in person festivities. Founders Mary Ellen Lapsansky and Lyn Leigh are still hopeful the winners ceremony may be held (safely) in person. “In the meantime, the accounting firm of Sperduto Spector & Company will keep the winners safe and sound until the date of the awards ‘reveal.’ So, stay tuned!

Ms. Lapsansky and Ms.  Leigh applauded the judging committee, who had no easy task (read their bios here). The 2021 finalists were determined by the highest percentage scores received based on the criteria for each category.  The criteria used to vet the submissions can be found here. “The creativity in both the descriptive word and the visualization of scent in all its glory is on full display this year and is nothing short of stupendous,” added Miranda Gordon, Vice President Fine Fragrances Marketing & Evaluation, MANE.
