  • Love the review. Citrus bombs are my jam. I can’t wait to smell this in person in a few weeks. Thanks for all the great content!

  • Maria Malaveci says:

The name definitely captured my attention as a huge mythology lover! The bottle is absolutely perfect. Makes me want to take a trip to visit my family in Greece. The notes sound absolutely amazing! I’m in US. Thanks so much for the opportunity!

  • Ty Steven for wonderful video. I love the sound and notes of this one. And the color even more being orange is my favorite. I live in Louisiana so this frag is perfect here in summer. I would love to win this one. Ty

  • I like that Steven dispelled any idea that the fragrance was a rip off of Tygar and Yvan’s introduction seems to truly encapsulate what the fragrance is all about. I look forward to wearing it this spring and summer.

  • I think this is going to be a smash hit for Parfums De Marly. The buzz around it is already reaching hype status. Speculation has been running rampant through the community so its nice to finally have some official information and hear the thoughts of a trusted reviewer. The fragrance itself sounds like a tried and true summer banger. I like the idea of trying to capture the essence of a perfect sunrise. It’s already getting warmer here in the south and I’m sure this will sing in the heat. Steven commented on it’s energizing nature and verdant muskiness, which sound fantastic. I’m thrilled to hear Steven say it’s nothing like the fragrances so many were speculating it to be like. I’ve been hoping it would give us a new and interesting profile and it seems to be just that. I love citrus and vetiver combos and this sounds like a winner from the house. I’m sure it would work wonderfully as a summer signature for the office this summer. Best of luck to everyone. I live in NC, USA.

  • Im really excited to try this one. They have some great fresher scents but a pure summer/sun scent is definitely needed. Between Steven and Yves it sounds like it really nails that idyllic summer.

I love how Yvan described how a sunrise can really set the tone for a wonderful day, it’s energy radiates onto you and you feel like you can do anything. As for Steven, well, he’s Steven , the best at what he does. I love watching his reviews. I feel like it can almost smell the fragrances because of his descriptions. Keep doing what you’re doing and keep Cafleurebon amazing!

  • Brad Woolslayer says:

I enjoyed Yvan Jaqueline’s quote about the positive energy of the sunrise. I also enjoyed how Steven mentioned some comparisons to Terre D’Hermes, but that Perseus marched to it’s own drum. I live in Maryland USA.

  • Yasser Fuentes says:

Amazing review as always. I’m a big fan. Also, 8+ on a Citrus Fragrance is Beast Mode for sure.I can’t wait to have it.

Eager to try the new PDM fragrance!
I’m a fan of the brand, my favorites Percival for summer and Carlisle for winter.

  • Steven’s review was great because he really described the note interplay. Living in a hot climate I’m so excited to try this fragrance!

  • Steven’s review was great because he really described the note interplay. Yvan’s introduction really gave a clear vision of what the fragrance hopes to convey. Living in a hot climate I’m so excited to try this fragrance!

  • As a huge PDM fan, I have even incredibly excited for Perseus since the leaks first released. Having fallen in love with Althair, Perseus seems like the perfect contrast for the hotter months. Living in the south the heat is already here and having a grapefruit heavy fragrance with a beautiful vetiver is a match made in heaven for me. Cheers!

  • Prince terry says:

    Busy old fool, unruly sun,
    Why dost thou thus,
Through windows, and through curtains call on us?
Must to thy motions lovers’ seasons run?
    Saucy pedantic wretch, go chide
Late school boys and sour prentices,
Go tell court huntsmen that the king will ride,
Call country ants to harvest offices,
Love, all alike, no season knows nor clime,
Nor hours, days, months, which are the rags of time …

  • The video and introduction have me looking forward to summer and enjoying all my citrus fragrances! Would love to try this one out. – CA, USA

I have smell anything from these house and I hope I win , thank you again for such a great content!

  • This cologne looks way up my alley. I hope I win the giveaway. Niche is hard to find out here in Ohio

  • Ramses Perez says:

Love how each new bottle by PDM is now a different color reflected of the fragrance inside and I hope that trend continues. This does sound like it’s gonna be a summer staple and a compliment getter for sure. I saw the notes and also though this may look like a Tygar clone but I’m happy it’s not. Bright and energizing are for sure ways to describe it based on the notes. I follow CaFleureBon on IG. Cheers from USA.

  • I love PDMs takes on fresh fragrances. They take a mass appealing scent and make it special. Would love to have a bottle.

  • What can I say, I love PDM and all their fragrances. Steve from redolessence and this post makes me want it more and not just to add it to my collection but to wear it and enjoy it.

  • Really exist to get my nose on this in person. From the looks definitely going to be my go to brunch scent.

For Yvan to call this sunrise in a bottle….I’m sold.

My favorite part of the video is comparisson that Steven made between the summer fragances from PDM.

I liked that Yvan said that this perfume is all about positive energy!

I also follow @cafleurebonofficial on instagram and I live in the US

  • My favorite fragrance from the house is currently sedley after smelling all of them while Christmas shopping with my girlfriend. The best citrus I’ve ever smelled. I have yet to get it because of the price but hopefully one day I can. This sounds like a really great alternative and I’m a fan of mandarin so I’m excited to hopefully smell this eventually. I have to say I love how descriptive and detailed you are in your video and I love the mental picture Jacquelin paints in her introduction.

  • I love how Yvan describes the notes of Perseus Fragrance in great detail and Steven compares the bottle to the sun´s colour. I´m following @cafleurebonofficial in IG.

The revelation of Parfums de Marly Perseus is truly exhilarating! Yvan Jaqueline’s portrayal of encapsulating positive energy in a sunrise is profoundly inspiring. The fusion of citrus, vetiver, and dry woods promises a fragrance that’s both uplifting and refined, ideal for brightening any day. Steven’s review adeptly showcases Perseus’s uniqueness, dispelling any misconceptions and highlighting its true essence. I’m eagerly anticipating experiencing this summer gem firsthand and adding it to my collection! Winning a bottle would offer an incredible opportunity to immerse myself in Perseus’s radiant warmth and positivity. Fingers crossed for the chance to rock my day with this exceptional fragrance!

    Thanks for the opportunity.

  • I’m a new fragrance lover since 6 months and i just started a new collection and of cours, Perseus just looks amazing. It will be a fabulous present for me.

PS : Love what you’re doing and your chanel and love PDM !

  • Alfonso Valenciana says:

Regarding the video, I think it’s excellent that you mention the olfactory family to which it belongs and the elements of the perfume to give us an idea of the path it will take. The comparisons you make with other fragrances are also excellent, so that we don’t have a vision. null

  • PDM is my favorite house. Steven led me down into this rabbit hole of fragrance several years ago. I’ve made many blind buys based on his reviews, and have never been disappointed. He can be aurally descriptive to the point of creating an olfactory sense, almost allowing the scent to come through the screen.

  • Miller Tadros says:

Thank you Steve for a detailed explanation. I’m in love already, This would be 4th de marly. I liked that it’s not salty as Steve had mentioned. And I love this quote from Yvan
    “ happiness, positive vibes”.

Love the color on the bottle.

I followed on instagram as well btw.
    Good luck to me 🙂

  • Mohamed Allam says:

Great review for a long anticipated perfume. Simple explanation of the notes. Can’t wait to try it soon specially that the review confirms what Yvan Jaqueline said about this perfume.

  • Very excited about this fragrance. One of the best things about it is the presentation and the color of the bottle, which is something that Steven made sure to capture with his outfit in the review he posted. Loved that about the YouTube video. The best thing about Yvan’s statement is the overall excitement for this new fragrance, which I’m sure I share with everyone else that has heard about this.

  • I would love to have this fragrance for the summer . I have over 5 parfum de market fragrances and this would be great to add to my collection . My favorite is Carlisle out of my collection and my favorite freshie is greenley .

Some of my favorite fragrances were originally recommended by Redolessence so of course I had to participate!
    Good luck everyone!

  • Michael Asimakopoulos says:

I enjoyed how Steven portrayed thr fragrence and talked about the presence of the notes. Yvan’s introduction seems to align with what Steven had to say in his review. I liked how Yvan kind of illustrated how this fits into their men’s fragrence lineup.

  • smellywelly06 says:

This just looks so juicy and is summer in a bottle. Really enjoyed Steven’s enthusiasm for this fragrance, and the way he described it made me need to try it. Thanks for the awesome giveaway, from Boston

  • As a fragrance reviewer, myself, I believe that since one cannot smell the fragrance through the screen, it should be described in such a way that can be interpreted by the viewer. Yvan Jaqueline’s description of Perseus is perfect in my opinion because she does this extremely well. I have never smelled this fragrance but I already have an idea of what it will be like to smell it in person. And as for Steven’s review on Youtube, I think that it is well-balanced between informative and entertaining. Steven gets straight to the point and makes sure that it is a good one. I really enjoyed watching Steven’s Youtube video, reading Yvan’s description, and writing this comment. It would be an absolute honor for this fragrance to be bestowed upon me, however, if there seems to be a better candidate, by all means give it to them. Thank you for your time and consideration.

  • donovanreich says:

I love the fact Steven cleared up that this isn’t a redundant release from PdM and also that it does not smell anything like Bvlgari Tygar. Thank goodness! The descriptive intro by Yvan was positively exciting and made me more eager to try Perseus.

I am a follower of @cafleurebonofficial Instagram account and would like my comment to be counted twice, thank you!

  • I’m glad that Steven helped to clear up the initial perceptions that even I was guilty of making even before sampling. This one looks like something that I could really enjoy. Living in Florida this may suit our climate well. Looking forward to sampling this one.

  • From the written INTRO I learned Perseus is all about positive energy. From the VID I learned for sure that Perseus does not smell like Tygar. US

  • I have always appreciated Steven’s reviews. Aside from a kinship due to our shared Greek heritage, Steven always gives a comprehensive review that I can trust when it comes to fragrances. This video is no exception. I have been excited for Perseus for since I heard about it a couple months back. I love PDM and own a few myself. PDM is just the quintessential example of quality when it comes to the fragrance game. I also happen to be a sucker for a good fresh fragrance, especially citrus. Both Yvan and Steven touched on this what this fragrance conjures which is an “uplifting and bright”. The presentation does it justice as the bottle is beautiful (as all PDM bottles are) and the color scheme fits that “sunrise” perspective personally. I can’t wait to get my hands on this fragrance!

  • Pyry Karrimaa says:

A house I grew on with time. Good collection, usable fragrances that have character. Beautiful fragrance house!

  • Yvan Jaqueline’s description of the vision for Perseus as an encapsulation of good vibes and positive energy is quite inspiring especially on this cold gloomy day. I also loved Steve describing it as the Sun King summer fragrance. I’m in TX USA and subscribed to Redolessence.

  • I have not tried a PDM fragrance, but a well-constructed review as a first-timer watching your channel.

  • SAMIR BENABADJI says:

They have some great perfumes, like Layton, Oajan, Carlisle… but I really want to try this one, because it is so well described by Steven from redolessence

  • Ive always liked the presentation of Parfums de Marly Perfumes, their always so premium looking, ive never really had any fragrances but, they just look so, beautiful

  • “The vision of Parfums de Marly Perseus is all about the positive energy encapsulated in a beautiful sunrise….”
Yvan Jaqueline, President -Americas, Parfums de Marly

Whoever is happy will make others happy too , Yvan Jacqueline is definitely happy about the new Perseus release, and the whole development of the brand. Parfums de Marly became one of the premier niche brands a short period of time , to my taste one of the best , Yvan Jacqueline contributed a lot the the success on the US market.
Steven take on Perseus made me think of bright colors, happy people , premier fragrance and of course as a Pastry Chef also of making Upside-down Grapefruit Custard Cake, with Creéme De Cassis , and later on eating it, drinking bergamot juice while on a picnic in the countryside.
I have high expectations for Perseus because of the good energy
It’s a 50/50 toss up for me between Herod and Oajan, for my favorite Parfums de Marly fragrances
Appreciate Yvan Jacqueline intro, Steven’s review, and the giveaway campaign

  • Very detailed and inclusive review by Steve on this new summer gem! I can’t wait to try this one out. The color of the bottle is spot on with the description and the direction this sent takes. I am a fan of all PDM great release and spacially, Percival, Gallaway, and Greenly. I loved how Steve touched on every single aspect of this scent. He left nothing to be wondered about. Thank you Steve for your great work as always!

  • I really love the combination of grapefruit and bergamot. Steven is very descriptive in his presentation and captivates the viewer into the scent. The fragrance sounds fantastic ands would be a great addition to my summer rotation.

  • I love Parfums de Marly, I can’t wait to smell it in the future. I’d love to win the bottle, thanks for the opportunity!

  • I like the combination of grapefruit and bergamot. The packaging and color of the bottle is enticing. Steven was very descriptive and lively in his presentation and really gets the viewer into the fragrance. I would love to add this to my summer rotation.

  • I mainly have all dark and mysterious fragrances, I love PDM, I actually just picked up Oajan, but I would love to add a fresh citrus one to my collection! I always enjoy Steven’s in depth reviews, I have purchased several bottles from his recommendations! The last was CDG – Incense Avignon! Thanks for the opportunity!

  • I appreciate Steve’s review. He describes a strong citrusy scent which is exactly what I am looking for the coming summer. Yvan’s Introduction really paints a positive vibe for this fragrance. I am definitely looking forward to this one.

  • When I am interested in a fragrance, I immediately go to redolessence and watch your wonderful reviews. I love dark, rich fragrances, but I’d love to find the perfect summer scent for me. I followed CaFleureBon on instagram as well.

  • Rufino Gepiga says:

I want to participate in this draw. I did join one in the past but did not make it. Please choose me.

  • Steven enjoys similar scent profiles that I do. Ever since I’ve got into perfumery he has been a reliable source to find scents that resonate with me. He has been successfully got me to buy multiple bottles of whatever he’s reviewing. Yvan Jaqueline’s Parfums De Marly was one of the first perfume houses that got me interested in the niche genre. To this day I am still looking for a reasonable way to acquire PDM Carlisle.

  • troygotmemed says:

I just want to smell good every time I step outside. This will definitely help as after watching both reviews this scent fits best with me.

  • Troy Barrett says:

I have been waiting for PDM to release a true citrus summer time type scent. I live in Hawaii so this will hopefully shine in its climate. Can’t wait to try. Thank you!

  • Andrei Artimon says:

I enjoyed Yvan Jaqueline’s quote about the positive energy of the sunrise. I also enjoyed how Steven mentioned some comparisons to Terre D’Hermes, but that Perseus marched to it’s own drum. I live in New YorkUSA.

  • Anthony Zeytounzian says:

Steven definitely peaked my interest when he basically called Perseus the best summer time fragrance from PDM. I also like that he dispelled the rumors that this smells anything like other fragrances.

  • My favorite part of Steven’s review is how much he respects how different Perseus is compared to Bvlgari’s Tygar and other popular citrus fragrances. Although his review was short, I could see he was pleased with what PdM delivered. On Yvan Jacqueline introduction, I found it funny how he called Perseus a “rockstar”. A president taking pride in a new release is always great. Love the concept of Perseus too–to uplift and bring positivity like the sun. I’m excited to try Perseus for myself and to be a “rockstar”.

  • I love Yvan Jacqueline’s positive vibes and energy. Very informative video from Steven. I love citrus scents and they’re perfect for the Florida heat. While I’m a little nervous about the vetiver, PDM hasn’t disappointed me yet! Hoping to get my nose on this and fall in love with it!

  • Perseus sounds like a banger! Would love to get my nose on it.
I completely lost my sense of smell back in December of 2020 due to COVID and only regained about 20% of it after I recovered from the virus. I lived with only a 20% functional sense of smell for 3 years. It was terrible. I have always been a lover of perfumery but the past three years I have been completely unable to smell the beauty in any scent. They all smelt the same (like smoke).
The past three years I have mourned the loss of my nose. No doctor had a remedy, “it’s basically brain damage caused by the virus” they all told me. I did spend $1,500 on an experimental treatment 2 years ago but it produced no results. I had pretty well accepted that it was a permanent loss, but miraculously (after much prayer and pleading with God) just 1 month ago my smell suddenly came back at a 95% level!
I haven’t left the perfume shops since, hahaha. I have been buying up everything that smells good to me, cheap, expensive, all of the above. I can’t get enough after three years of nothing.
There is nowhere to buy niche fragrances where I live. To smell them I have to buy them off the internet. Just 2 days ago I ordered my first Parfums de Marley (Sedley). It hasn’t arrived yet but I’m dying to smell it. I would love to add Perseus to the shelf as my second Parfums de Marley. It just sounds like a delightful summer scent.
Thanks for the opportunity to enter the giveaway.

  • I thoroughly enjoyed Steven’s detailed review. This sounds like an amazing scent profile from PdM, and I’m looking forward to trying it out.

  • Oh that bottle is beautiful. I like geranium so this might be a go to summer scent. Steven’s description makes me want it more.

  • Great review. Love PDM and really looking forward to trying this one. Thank you for the opportunity. Truly appreciated.

  • rhuynh2005@gmail.com says:

I only have 1 bottle of PDM, Herod which is I love it. I’m looking for a summer PDM fragrance and I was thinking about getting Greeney. The release of Perseus is perfect timing for me. I can’t wait to get a bottle for this summer (it would be nice to win it)

  • Very excited for this one perfect for spring summer
As always, Stevens was very clear with the note breakdown and he’s final verdict.

  • The color of the bottle is a perfect representation of what the smell is supposed to be, a citrusy, uplifting, sunny fragrance. I wasn’t as impressed with Sedley as I thought I would be but Steven’s description makes this one sound like the perfect summer scent.

    Indiana USA

  • What I appreciate about Stephen’s review most is his passion & sincerity. I didn’t feel like the review for Parfums de Marly Perseus was an attempt to sale anything to me, I did however appreciate the personable nature of his opinion coupled with his expertise of fine fragrance. Great information, I’m still deciding on a summer signature fragrance so I appreciate this review greatly. Versatile citrus & the presentation has a beautiful aesthetic.

    Best regards
    Vincent

  • I love Percival and Sedley for spring summer. After seeing the review on YouTube I’m very excited to try Perseus! Thanks for the review.

  • The way he was describing how the fragrance was like a citrus bomb, I pictured myself walking through an orchard field filled with all types of citruses, lol.

  • Steven and Yvon emphasized the freshness and brightness of this scent. The citrus is the star player and he mentioned this is PDMs summer king fragrance! I’m looking forward to getting this fragrance! Perfect for summer! I live in New York USA

  • Chris Bustard says:

So looking forward to another summer fragrance from PDM. I live in southern California and this sounds like it would be perfect!

  • I loved how Steven coordinated his outfit with the color of the bottle, and his description of the notes was intriguing!

Yvan’s description of the scent as an energizing sunrise way to start your day has me ready to try this scent!

Grateful for the opportunity to win. I’m subscribed to Steven’s channel and to @cafleurebonofficial on instagram as @gunthermarie

  • “the perfect creation to project happiness & positive vibes” – Yvan Jaqueline. I smelled this in the mall last weekend and I was immediately hooked. I’m looking forward to displaying a lot of different vetivers this summer, this PDM Perseus will fit nicely. And besides, it’s my 3 year old Son/Sun’s favorite color.

#14SpraysMinimum club, Tell Steven from Redolessence he missed 1. Lol

  • I love watching sunrises, there’s something energetic and brightening about them and from Steven’s review it sounds like they’ve captured that feeling with Perseus. Really enjoy citrus
    heavy fragrances with green tones.

  • i dont have much experience with pdm i love greenly but i think i would love this too would like to own it!!

  • This one looks extremely promising, this house has delivered nothing but easy to wear classy scents. Cannot wait to get my nose on it. Yvan’s quote sounds very enticing and Steven’s description adds to the “positive vibes” this is going for.

  • Ilay Guardia says:

Loved the bóttle and name of the fragrance, i’ve always been interested in buying a parfums de marly fragrance.

  • Mohammed Saady says:

Love the Greek mythology names PDM uses for their fragrances. This one seems like it’s gonna be an ideal summer time fragrance. As always, an incredible review Steven!

  • Amazing! Great review! Huge fan of Parfums de Marly!! I love the color and the fact that it’s a citrus fragrance! Perfect for the summer. I can’t wait to try it.

  • olfactoryatlas says:

I love how Steven went over the scent profile and clarified how this is not similar to Tygar. I’ve personally heard similarities between both, but I trust his nose more than most. The brightness of this fragrance excites me!

  • Theenzoftheworld says:

Need this sort of versatile crowd pleaser fragrance to wear to the office – loving the fruity muskyness that Steven describes. I’ve been living in in heavy birch tar / civet / gourmand territory for the last 6 months and need something I can actually wear outside around the general population .. wondering how the performance will be on me but even if it’s light, that might be a good one. Would ship to Pittsburgh, PA, USA if I win! Crossing my fingers and toes.

  • Steve always has a unique perspective on fragrances. He’s knowledgable and is the reason for several of my purchases. I’m interested in trying this new scent from PDM. I love all I own so far.

  • The YouTube review of Perseus just made me want to try it for sure. Maybe it’s the notes and “summer” scent aspect of the fragrance or maybe it was matching shirt and pocket square to the bottle. But I’m definitely looking forward to getting some sprays of this! You are now being followed on IG for sure.

  • whimsical diva says:

I really liked Yvan’s description, it reads like “sunshine in a bottle”. The notes of grapefruit, blackberry and green mandarin makes it super interesting. Usually citrus fragrances don’t last on me, but everything from Parfums de Marly is so long lasting that I’m very intrigued to try this. Loved Steven’s description of the zesty and energetic notes;.

I follow @cafleurebonofficial on instagram, and would love to enter the draw. I live in the US.

  • I loved the info provided in steven’s review and Yvan’s Jacqueline’s introduction. I especially appreciate steven clearing up the rumors that this fragrance might smell like tygar.

I also follow cafleurebon on instagram

  • Steven’s always on point with his reviews and painting us good pictures about how the fragrance smells. He’s very informative on this video and I think Yvan’s new scent is going to be amazing for the summer!

  • Absolutely captivated by the mesmerizing scent of this fragrance! It’s like walking through a lush garden at dawn, enveloped in the delicate embrace of blooming flowers and fresh citrus notes. Each whiff feels like a journey to paradise, evoking feelings of elegance and sophistication. Truly a masterpiece that leaves a trail of allure wherever you go. A must-have for anyone who appreciates the finer things in life.
This house never disappoints as always Redolessence always has our back when deciding to make expensive purchases.

  • Loved Steven’s review! Sounds like a great summer fragrance. Yvan’ description sounds lovely. Philadelphia. PA USA

  • I enjoyed how Steven delved into the intricacies of Parfums de Marly’s latest fragrance, Perseus. His comprehensive review not only showcased a great understanding of the fragrance but also highlighted his excellent presentation skills. I thoroughly enjoyed his insightful analysis, and he did a wonderful job capturing the essence of Perseus, making it a must-watch & must-have for fragrance enthusiasts.

I also loved Yvan Jaqueline’s vision for Perseus. They’re execution for this new release has potentially made Perseus a staple in not only PDM perfumes but Summer frags in general.

  • Of course from my favorite house, Parfumes de Marly, gorgeous presentation definitely a summer 2024 staple

  • When I here the notes, I can smell this fragrance just by thinking about it. I really wanna give it a try. I love PDM

  • Michael Batchelor says:

Always love Steven’s spot on reviews. Big fan of the house and would love to add to my collection.

    Airbatch

  • I love PDM fragrances but have never owned one…yet, just a few decants. I’ve always enjoyed Steven’s honest but detailed take on fragrances and I liked how he broke the notes down for Perseus. Also, that he matched his outfit to the fragrance bottle presentation. I really hope I win this Summer Gem!

  • Tony Williams IV says:

I enjoyed his thorough review of the fragrance how the smell compares to others in his PDM collection.

  • Sounds like a winner
Is this in anyways a replacement for or an overlap of PAM’S other summer Fragrances ( Percival,Pegasus,Galloway, Sedley)or does it stand completely different and on it’s own?

  • Love the review – can’t wait to smell it as I love citrus scents. Yvan’s introduction makes this scent sound promising as I enjoy “bright” scents. Loved the color coordination in Steven’s video! Thanks for the opportunity!

  • Was waiting for Steven’s review. Was seeing comparisons to other fragrances but Steven mentions that Perseus marches to beat of it’s own drum. Like he said with the marketing and color of the bottle you already know it is gonna be perfect for summer. Glad the geranium note does not give it a minty feel.

Yvan’s intro gives me the exact feelings that he mentions when I see the bottle. Happiness, positive vibes and just make me feel like it will bring a smile to my face when I smell it.

  • I love Steven’s reviews and his collection in parfum de Marly. I’m still considered new in know fragrances but I do know that this one looks great. I don’t own any Citrus type of fragrances yet so I do need this one. I love how this bottle looks.

I followed the Instagram as well @walterbarnaba

  • Loved the use of other PDM powerhouses to describe the brightness of this new addition. Steven’s outfit is also on point!

  • Love two perfumes from this house, Herod and Althair, but both are for colder months, can’t wait to try a fresher scent.

  • Michelle Nguyen says:

My partner loves Parfum de Marly, so I was so excited to hear about a new summer fragrance I could gift him! I love Yvan’s intro of the perfume; I can already envision the feeling I’ll get from smelling it. And of course Steven, your reviews are so detailed and have always been spot on, and I love citrus so I’m very excited to try this.

  • Can’t wait to get my nose on Perseus, and the bottle is beautiful!
I love how Steven’s review compared similar fragrances and debunked other not-so-similar scents, while breaking down which notes stand out prominently (grapefruit) and which take more of a backseat in the composition (geranium). Yvan’s introduction got me interested in Perseus even more than I already was. I would love to own this modern freshie and her description of it being a positive and uplifting scent makes it even more enticing as a positive feeling citrus scent! Love PDM and hope to win the giveaway, thanks for the opportunity! -Tanner

  • Just in time for the summer. I was one of those who thought this was PDM’s version of Tygar. Glad to hear that’s not the case which makes me excited to check this one out ASAP!

  • Uplifting sounds amazing mentioned by Yvan! I own 8 Parfums De Marly’s: Layton, Layton Exclusif, Pegasus, Pegasus Exclusif, Haltane, Kalan, Carlisle, and Habdan. None are fresher scents. I would love to finally smell a fresher scent in the collection. This one seems to have a bit of a backbone and not all just fresh and citrus mentioned in Steven’s review(and how the only other scent of theirs with a big citrus note is Kalan, cool connection!) from MN, USA

  • Bryan Martinez says:

Honestly i love how steven gave us the run down of the notes and how it smelled using other pdm scents as examples totally awesome.aswell as the way Yvon explained what the fragance meant was fantastic he explained it in a way that would captivate the scent in it truest form.

  • John Conover says:

Steven’s reaction and introduction was all I needed to know how He felt about this fragrance and He described it so well that I know already what it smells like and can’t wait to really try it. Yvan’s and Michelyn’s introduced was well detailed and Marley’s has another star in it’s lineup

  • Sippy_1017 says:

I love summer scents, knowing the quality of Parfums de marly I know this is going to be beast mode!!!! Shout out to you guys for the giveaways!!

  • If I have to summarize the amount of pleasing to the eyes, and mind Parfums de Marly , and the new Perseus fragrance information I’ll start with what Yvan Jacqueline said about the positive energy, he made me think of what Paulo Coelho said “When you are enthusiastic about what you do ,you feel this positive energy . It’s very simple”
I can feel that Yvan Jacqueline shares the same Paulo Coelho type of energy and love for life itself.
I’ll be happy to win Perseus because of the Yvan Jacqueline approach , refined zesty fruits and musky cassis , vetiver all centered around positive emotions.
I also like the contrast between the orange bottle , and the silver cap .
Oajan is my favorite Parfums de Marly , but Delina Exclusif is breathing in Oajan neck all the time. Both are staples for me.

  • Angel Daleccio says:

Would love a full bottle of this just based on the description. Steven wore 12 sprays!?

  • This fragrance seems awesome. I loved the way that Steven explained the sun motif with the bottle and advertisements for the fragrance. Yvan’s part really has gotten me interested in the fragrance. I also followed cafleurebon on Instagram as well!

  • AromaDulce73 says:

Love that Yvan said that Perseus is about projecting positivity & happiness. Steven mentions Perseus has a nice citrus opening and that this fragrance marches to the beat of its own drum. A great summer fragrance is here.

    Los Angeles Ca. USA

  • PDM is my favorite fragrance house! Despite having tried many of the offerings the house has, I have been longing for something perfect for summer ☀️ where I live is hot most of the time & this scent would be great for desert weather. I believe Perseus has the potential of being the best release of the year & I love the notes that have been put into this fragrance as well as the quality & longevity that is unique to the PDM. They’re my favorite house for a reason & it would be an honor to get a bottle of Perseus & I would cherish it for years to come . Thank you so much from Palm Springs CA & if chosen , I really would appreciate it and make my year. Love & be well.

  • Pranjal Tomar says:

Yvan’s description and Steven’s review perfectly describe the blend of fresh citrus and green notes, akin to the vibrant energy of Perseus. Steven’s assessments always helps me pick my fragrances and this one has me excited to add another Parfum De Marly to my collection.

Thank you for the opportunity, hoping bring in the summer with fresh energy and positivity with this one.

  • I’m a new collector and will be getting my nose on this one. The notes sound like a breath of fresh air. I will be telling all of my Frag-head buddies about this one. Thanks for releasing what appears to be an amazing fragrance.

  • HoadWarrior15 says:

This release sounds right up my alley. We’re approaching warmer weather and this is going to be a big hit in the coming months. Steven does a great job discussing similarities between other fragrances (even though there are few). I hope to smell this soon and imagine Yvon’s description of her idea of this fragrance!

  • Daddy_40895111 says:

  • Irving Castillo says:

PDM choice of color for the bottle is fantastic and just in time before the warmer weather

  • SgtSarcastic says:

I enjoyed Steven’s video as I was unfamiliar with this site. I enjoyed the note breakdown and the comparison to other PDM spring/summer scents. Yvon’s statement is great, because I love sunrises, it’s my favorite time of day watching the sky break and the colors revealing themselves over the horizon. If Perseus reminds me of that warm feeling, it would be a great addition to my fragrance collection!

  • Suvirnath says:

Just by the note breakdown, looks like this one will go and join my other PDM freshie bottles – Have sedley, greenly and Percival, and this orange bottle will look so good next to those bottles too

  • Aaron Holmes says:

I personally have not tried PDM brand, and I’m very interested in giving it a try!

  • Laurenz_03 says:

As soon as I saw the fragrance notes I was hooked to smell this fragrance. PDM being my favourite house I just knew this could really be my new summer main scent, while I truly love Herod for the winter. Thank you so much for your in depth review! I’m even more exited now!

  • Raja Rohani says:

I learned so much from this video on YouTube about the new release of perfume de Marley. I can’t wait to own one of the bottle and enjoy the sense. I have so many different perfume to Marley perfume in my collection and I enjoyed all of them.

  • Love all of Stevens videos!
Always thorough and to the point.

Had to watch the video twice because I only heard half of
what he said due to that mesmerizing collection behind him.. haha

    Thanks for all you do,
    Love PDM,
    Awesome giveaway!
    Good luck everyone!!!

  • Jay Hermosa says:

I’m from the beautiful island of the Philippines where the sun shines all year round and being a tropical country has its challenges in finding the right choice of fragrances. But this new release fro Parfums de Marly Perseus is especially perfect in this hot yet paradise of a place, I fervently hope that I get to try first this new edition from PDM here in the Philippines! More power and have fragrant day ahead!

  • The color of the bottle is absolutely gorgeous on this one.I can’t wait to smell this and if its exactly the way steven has portrayed it, its going to be my summer go to fragrance.Citrus frags have always been my favorites.

  • Great review… I can’t wait to get my nose on this one. I hope that they release a 200ml bottle of this. So far I own Layton (200ml), Percival (200ml). I look forward to Perseus for the summer season. the name definitely captured my attention as I am a huge mythology lover myself!

  • I love the way that Steven breaks down the notes in fragrances. I feel like the presentation for Perseus is absolutely perfect to represent it. Yvon’s take here is one that I resonate with because I love sunrises, it’s my favorite time of the day listening to the birds chirp as the colors of the sun rising reveal themselves. If Perseus can encapsulate that feeling, it would be a tremendous addition to my fragrance collection! A perfect fragrance to fill what was a gap in the PDM line in my opinion.

There are so many thing that I enjoyed about the video. Steven makes the video very enjoyable to watch, I love how detailed and in depth his fragrance reviews are. I feel like I am in the same room right next to him smelling Perseus for the first time. I love that Steven sets the record straight immediately and informs everyone that this is not in anyway a Tygar clone. I love how descriptive Steven is on the note break down and how detailed he gets, he really paints a beautiful scent picture for me to see in my head. So good I swear I can smell Perseus already and I haven’t even gotten a bottle yet. Amazing Job as always Steven. Thank you very much! Keep up the amazing content! I have been a follwer on Instagram for a while now so count me in twice please.

Green Mandarin with a touch of musk. Does sound like happiness and positive vibes! PDM Layton Exclusif is my Winter scent. Hopefully Perseus becomes my summers!

  • Very intrigued by this release! The bottle color perfectly captures how Yves described it: energizing and warming just like a sunrise in the middle of summer. Steven, your review was immaculate. I can already get an idea of how this will smell, and thanks for debunking a lot of the comparisons to it. Excited to smell this!

    Followed @cafleurebonofficial on Instagram!

  • Excited to get my nose on this one. Glad it’s not another tygar rendition. Summers around the corner and I need to be a fresh smelling and looking as Steven!

    Thank you for the opportunity.

  • Joshua contreras says:

Love the goood note break down on your videos ! Awesome keep the same energy going fam!

  • Zestybloom says:

Steven commented on it’s energizing nature and muskiness, which sounds great. I’m thrilled to hear Steven say it’s nothing like the fragrances so many were speculating it to be like. I’ve been hoping thatb it would give us a new and interesting profile. I love citrus and vetiver combos so its going to be my signature for this summer season surely.
Totally agree with Yvan’s Jaqueline description where he mentions it as positive energy encapsulated in a beautiful sunrise.

  • talisman30 says:

Been a follower of Steven for quite some time now. He’s always spot on with the description of his reviews and thats i was introduced to the brand PDM. Knowing they will have another release, I definitely got excited especially with this type of scent profile and living in a hot weather state like Texas. Cant wait to get a hold of this sample hopefully a full bottle soon like the others on my collection…

  • Andrew Thornton says:

I Loved Steven’s application and note breakdown, when and how to wear; I’m looking for a summer fragrance, also Yvan mentioned the bright uplifting aspect, which I could use right now as we enter stormy spring weather!

  • Love a beautiful sunrise so Yvan description makes me feel the warmth of the fragrance. Steven excitement makes me want to experience the fragrance immediately

  • I can’t wait to smell this in person. Steven always is the deciding factor for when I’m on the fence for a review.

  • I love PDM fragrances! I love how Steven’s review showed that Perseus is a different type of Summer fragrance….not oceanic like so many other summer scents.

  • The introduction was beautiful and Steven really made me want to try this product. Great review!

  • Great introduction and great review… I love the content. Thank you for all that you do!

  • Ruben Alviar says:

What I liked about Steven’s review was how he breaks down the notes and how the play a role in how they affect the smell of this scent as opposed to how that note comes off in different fragrances

  • recursivemask says:

Steven is insightful as usual, and I liked his comment on how bright and fresh it was. Yvan summarizing the concept behind this fragrance was amazing. US.

  • I really like that the composition is such a bright, citrusy fragrance. I own much richer, heavier PdM scents such as Delina Exclusif, Layton Exclusif and Pegasus Exclusif. While Steven notes it leans a bit masculine, I think I’d love it and would also have my boyfriend wear it.
    I live in the USA.

  • There is always room for a fresh fragrance, no matter what you have because they become an easy reach to go anywhere to feel like you are good mood and people around appreciate the non-offensive vibe of your scent trail.
I owned Herod and Oajan, I was considering Sedley but glad that I wait for this.
Excellent review by Steven (redolessence) as always to make the comparison between all the PdM where this may fit and finish the nonsense comparison with Tygar, because notes can be same but there is a lot of factors that can change the fragrance

  • Bought the discovery set and absolutely loved herod, layton and greenley. Cant wait to try Perseus

  • Well, Steve called it a citrus explosion and in the Yvan’s introduction mentioned bright and uplifting, that sounds Ike a perfect description of a summer banger, i can wait to put my nose on this beauty, thanks for the great content as always and the opportunity to make your subscribers to win, jope this time it’s me….

  • James Bond says:

Steven does a great job highlighting the accords in this fragrance. I particularly appreciate his analysis regards Tygar which would seem to be a similar scent. And green mandarin? Nice.

  • Welcome to the sun! From the color of the bottle to Yvan’s description of Perseus projecting positive vibes and happiness, this lates offering seems to embody summer. Those of us in the Midwest greet the sun with open arms when it finally peeks out from beneath its winter blanket. Steven as always gives a nice objective review, and i appreciate the “debunking “ of some comparisons that I’ve already seen online. Would love to rock my day with this! Cheers from Ohio! 🙂

  • Since we are about to jump in the spring, I appreciate Steven‘s expression of how citrusy this fragrance is and how would hold up under high heat

  • I like how the Stevens fit matches with the notes and bottle of PDM. I feel that Yvan’s intro makes it seem that Perseus is perfect for the PNW spring.

  • Clay Norton says:

The video was well done, I enjoyed him talking about the specific time the scent dries down and longevity. I also enjoyed him talking about how it is a great summer fragrance, which is not comparable to Tygar afterall.
This is @theclaynorton and I followed on Instagram also!

  • Great review! Sounds to me like sunshine in a bottle. I like geranium as a note – it reminds me of my mother, she always grew them. Very excited to try this one for summer. Thanks for the review, and for the opportunity to enter. I also follow ÇaFleureBon on Insta. I’m in the United States.

  • Uplifting is what I need for the summer, especially if Steven considers this to be on the same level if not above Galloway (which I love), Greenly, Percival and Sedley (which I own).

  • IvanVelikov says:

When I think Parfums de Marly , I always think Pegasus , fantastic fragrance with great performance.
Thanks to Yvan Jacqueline and Steven i now know not only about the house new Perseus fragrance, and how it smells, but also that both replaced the negative thoughts with positive ones leading to positive results.
The designer’s work is impeccable, love the bottle, the cap and the uplifting vibe of the pictures, and the article. In terms of smell , I’m interested in the grapefruit and cassis opening and the non-salty ambergris accord.
Obviously Perseus I’ve never smelled before, I’d pair the fragrance with Peak Lapel , Mustard Yellow Double Breasted Suit, fusion of classic style and 2024 flair, just like Perseus.
I do follow Cafleurebon on Instagram

  • MARCO HURTADO says:

Steven is one of my favorite youtube reviewers, this time talking about Perseus was very clear and sharp, thanks !

  • Jackson Schachte says:

I really like the description of the fragrance as an energetic and sunny summer fragrance. I also have a really small collection so I really like the fact that it’s able to be dressed up and down. The versatility is great since I don’t have many choices.

  • I’m happy that Steven dispelled all the rumors of people saying its a clone of Terre de Hermes or Tygar without having even smelled it. I like Yvan’s description, “happiness, positive vibes, and rock your day”, we certainly need more of that nowadays. Followed on IG, NYC USA.

  • I liked Stephen’s analysis and comparison to similar scents from different brands to give me a feel for the smell. I also liked Yvan’s description of an uplifting sunrise because it lets me know this will be the new summer stunner from the house.

Love PDM and I loved the review by Steven. Yvan’s introduction was great too. I am really excited for such a nice citrusy fragrance from PDM

  • I really enjoyed Stevens video, very professional and how he breaks down the notes and experience of the fragrance. I definitely wanna try this frag out or even just buy it I like fresh smelling fragrance’s

  • I’ve always admired Steven’s reviews, and this one is no exception. He consistently delivers thorough reviews that eloquently capture the essence of fragrances. I’ve been eagerly anticipating Perseus ever since I first heard about it. As a fan of PDM, I believe PDM exemplifies quality in the fragrance world. I particularly appreciate a good fresh fragrance, especially those with citrus notes. Yvan and Steven highlighted Perseus’s uplifting and bright qualities, which aligns perfectly with my preferences. The presentation is also commendable, I liked the color so much – that it resonates with a “sunrise” perspective. Lastly, a big thank you also to Michelyn for providing this opportunity. I’m eagerly looking forward to experiencing this fragrance firsthand. Best of luck to everyone!

  • WillRhodes says:

How exciting! And this is the perfect time of year for PDM to release a fragrance such as Perseus, and as Yvon Jaqueline said, this one being positive energy encapsulated in a sunrise, how wonderful! I am so ready for a dose of sunshine in my life, and this seems to be the ticket.
Steven’s video review was great, loved how many wonderful things he had to say about this energizing, bright, and sun filled fragrance. Green, mandarin, citrus, verdant, clean, fresh…so many things pointing this to being the easiest reach this Spring and Summer. And I love that it has an ambergris accord in the base notes, as I find that to be a very lovely base for this type of perfume. Steven confirmed all things I was hoping to hear.. Uniqueness, longevity, projection, and slightly masculine leaning, with the ability to be dressed up or down in these upcoming warmer months. I have been looking for an explosion of citrus in my fragrance collection, and wow this sounds like an amazing addition.
    -Chicago

  • Great video, my favorite part is how his outfit matches the bottle. He always does an amazing job of describing the difference notes and how it has similarities yet sets itself apart from other fragrances. I would love to make this my signature scent this spring and summer. Thanks for the great content and opportunity!

  • Love PDM. Citrus perfumes are so inviting.

I loved how well Steven described the scent, its as if I had the strip open in front of me. Yvan was lively as always. I am in Michigan, USA.

Yvan Jacqueline definitely enjoys his work , time , and the whole Parfums de Marly atmosphere , from fragrances to everyday activities and life itself. Because every job is a self portrait of person who did it, you just need to autograph your work with excellence..like Yvan Jacqueline.
I approach work and life in a similar manner as him , I also believe I’d enjoy Perseus quite a bit too .
Being a vain man compliments are really important to me. Perseus is elegant , fresh and invigorating fragrance done right, and for sure will get me unsolicited compliments , while smelling amazing.

  • Gabriel Gomez says:

I always enjoy Steven’s reviews. This wasn’t the exception.

The way he explained the scent, as it is not possible to smell a scent on a pure description, he did a fantastic job.

Vetiver, Mandarin, Geranium, are amongst a few of my favorite notes. Parfums de Marly Perseus has these notes, and more.

    I’m so intrigued.

    Can’t wait to try it.

    Los Angeles, California dude here.

  • I admire Steven’s passion to introduce quality perfumes. Although I am not a big fan of the opulent ones from Parfums de Marley. I love their fresh scent. I hope to wear this scent for this summer!
    From New York

  • I love that sunny orange bottle and the notes seem uplifting. I agree with Yvan that a warm sunrise can set a fine mood for the day; that’s a welcome mood-lifter to capture via fragrance. Steven pointed out that Perseus is now “the Sun King”—the ideal Parfums de Marly summer fragrance—with its overdose of citrus and freshness. He also pointed out the musky cassis and ambergris balance out the fresh-citrus, without smelling salty or oceanic, and the minty geranium is a smart touch. Sounds terrific.

  • Michael Speight says:

This sounds like what my nose and collection has been needing! I’m ready to dive in on it.

  • I have been excited to try this new release from PDM. I already own Layton and Galloway but would love to add that gorgeous orange bottle to my shelf 🙂 From the video i was happy to learn that Perseus is a summer scent without relying on typical salty aquatic notes. Thanks to the article, I now know that this fragrance was created to represent the positive vibes of a new sunrise, which vibes with my personality so well. KY/USA

  • As a freshie lover I can’t wait to get my nose on Perseus. Steven’s review is very informative that this is right up to my taste specially for the summer and good to know that this doesn’t smell like Tygar. And Yvan’s introduction of projecting positive vibes and rock your day makes me more excited about this PDM release!

  • Nice review by Steven. This cologne sounds right in my ally as far as the scent profile. Cannot wait to try it out someday.

  • Really enjoyed Steven and Yvan Jacqueline’s review and introduction into the fragrance. The Terre de Hermes comparison really helped to imagine the scent. Love citrus and the dry wood base is definitely interesting for a summer fragrance, and will definitely keep an eye out next time I go shopping.

I enjoyed the whole experience today , from Yvan Jacqueline burst of positive energy, to Steven enthusiastic review.
I’m a huge fan of Parfums de Marly, and Initio Parfums Prives. All PDM I know except for Perseus, and If I have to rate my favorite fragrances :
    1. Habdan , one of my top 5 fragrances ever
    2. Oajan
    3. Herod / Althaïr
I’m happy that Steven cleared the rumors about Perseus being close to Jacques Cavalier composed Bvlgari Tygar . I still wonder who composed Perseus… Hamid Merati Kashani maybe , Elias Ermenidis? Whoever it is , judging by Steven facial expression, and review I’m pretty sure Perseus is a Summer gem . Happy moments, tranquil warm weather experience and one high end citrus aromatic i need to try as soon as possible.
    All profiles I already follow , @waltherp99bg
    Thanks a lot

  • Man this sounded like the perfect fragrance for the summer, I live in Florida and could use one like this specially of the caliber like a Marly.

  • Wow I was not expecting you to say that it’s THE best summer fragrance for this line. Makes sense that was their target like you mention, the bottles presentation clearly shows that’s what they were going for. Bright fresh citrus. I definitely need to get this Citrus scent.

  • I’ve very much been looking forward to this fragrance. Love PDM and the scent vibe of this one sounds exciting and interesting.

  • I would love to win this. Would be My first time winning if do. I would love to own this for my collection

  • I absolutely love this channel he has never steered me wrong with blind buys and his reviews are always on point !! This house is a absolute gem all of their frags are amazing

  • Steven’s review was intriguing and makes me want to get my nose on this fragrance as soon as I possibly can. Yvan Jaqueline’s introduction stating, “It is a bright and uplifting composition intended to radiate warmth and positivity.” only sparks my interest more, for this soon to be PDM classic.

  • I love PDM and my favorite is Layton , herod . But now my new favorite will be perseus for sure , summer is coming and that will be best gift for me thank you all

  • This presentation left me with wanting a bottle of this new perseus. His fragrance reviews always help me in selecting a new fragrance.

  • Parfums de Marly does it again.
A fantastic scent that provides good vibes for the spring and summer.

Greenly was their all terrain summer fragrance but now, by having Perseus in their line, it gives PDM lovers another choice.

I cant wait no for the summer.
    From Massachusetts.

    Cheers

  • Great reveiw and synopsis from Yvan Jacqueline. When I saw the notes I immediately thought tiere de hermes. I’m glad Steven clarified it maybe a bit more going on here. Sounds like a nice freshy fron the brand . Thanks for the article and review

  • Hello and thank you!

For me, Yvan’s comment about Perseus being, “positive energy encapsulated in a beautiful sunrise” immediately gave me the feeling of hopeful vitality!

Then for Steven’s YouTube review, it has to be his point that, “Perseus marches to the beat of its own drum, it does its own thing.” These two comments when taken together make me confident that this can really become my new signature scent.

Very grateful for the opportunity to enjoy this new release from an amazing house, thank you!

This has to be dry and juicy at the same time. PDM looks to have done it again. I had a 10ml decant of pegasus and it went all too fast. Here is something beautiful to bring in oth spirng and summer of 24. I’m curious of how earthy and photorealistic the citrus and the woods are. Steven’s video was informative but also had me most interested when he said it was a citric king and I believe it. Love how his shirt and handkerchief matched the bottle of perseus. Plz grace me with this bottle because I’ve never owned a PDM and this really has me wanting to. From Jacksonville, NC.

  • abahava601@icloud.com says:

Steven’s review was a very thorough breakdown of the fragrance along with the occasions and times of year it’s best to be worn in. Really excited to buy/try the Perseus.

  • What I loved about Steven’s Youtube video and Yvan’s introduction is how both painted a picture with the notes. Positive energy and sunrise are perfect descriptions of what I want in a summer fragrance. You want something light and uplifting to match the weather. I’ve been looking for the perfect summer scent.

  • foreverscents says:

I love energetic and energizing fragrances, especially when they are citrusy. Green mandarin sounds amazing. I also love that there is vetiver in this fragrance. The musky black currant also appeals to me. I like that Yvan Jaqueline said that Perseus was created to project good vibes. I need some of those vibes right about now.
    I live in the USA.

  • Finally something that sounds right up my alley. My favorite part of Steven’s breakdown is how he compares Perseus with isola blu, and how he exclaims it to be a “summer king”

  • Zoheb sharif says:

This perfume seems like exactly what I need in my collection! I am a broke college student frag head and i only have club de nuit intense man and azarro the most wanted. Everything about this pdm perfume is exactly what i need! Good luck to everyone! Cheers

  • Mario Ojeda says:

I was listening to the review of Perseus, Perfum de Marley on 3/2. I’m excited and would like to own it.

  • I like how thorough he was in describing the prominent notes. And how he expressed the difference to the scents people thought smelt similar

  • Jesus Torres says:

I liked that steven described the characteristics of the fragrance. He states that it can be worn in a climate controlled environment, meaning that while it is a summer frag, be cautious of overspray. Yvans intro to the fragrance is excellent and very descriptive regarding where this PDM fragrance fits in its vast standout collection.

  • Sted Hazel says:

Very detailed video did an amazing job describing this fragrance..I am excited to try.

  • Positive Thinking Day falls on a Friday this year, it’s celebrated on September 13 every year, I’d love to invite Yvan Jacqueline as a speaker to laugh, crack jokes, and share in life’s joy

“Human beings, by changing the inner attitudes of their minds, can change the outer aspects of their lives.”
    – William James

Yvan Jacqueline and Parfums de Marly changed the fragrance market with exquisite fragrances, and added some positive aspects to our everyday life ❤
Love both of my Delina bottles , the regular one and the Exclusif , also bought Byerley twice for my dad, he absolutely loves it. Perseus is so tranquil , bright and zesty , the number 1 Summer fragrance by Parfums de Marly according to Steven, such claim speaks volumes.
I’ll follow Yvan Jacqueline right away, Cafleurebon i follow on both Facebook and Instagram
    Thank you for the opportunity

  • The equation with a sunrise in the intro is appealing right off, but what I really loved about Stephen’s review was how he clarified the Smells Like opinions I’ve been seeing online and let us know that this, to him, is unique and wonderful for warmer weather, which is coming, I hope, soon!

  • FragranceIsMe says:

    Another wonderfully in-depth review Steven…thank you 🙂

I’m loving the color of the bottle. Definitely a summer vibe presentation!

I like Yvan’s description and agree that this sounds like a Summer Rockstar.

The notes of grapefruit, black currant, green mandarin, and ambergris have captured my undivided attention.

Lastly, the performance this offers, especially being on the citrusy side, has me looking forward to PDM’s latest creation.

  • Michael Prince says:

I enjoyed about STEVEN’S YOUTUBE review AND Yvan’s Jaqueline’s INTRODUCTION. Steven makes this sound like the perfect fresh, bright, citrusy, green, and musky fragrance that I can’t wait to try. Yvan Jaqueline the president and face of Parfums De Marly Americas has done an incredible job with his vision and mission for the future of the brand. I am following @cafleurebonofficial on Instagram…my insta name is @michaelprincefragrances I am from the USA.

  • great video man, i would love to get the fragrance because that would upgrade my small collection as a senior who cant spend his money on perfumes and leave the essentials and important things, love you.

  • I liked the review for focusing on the mood that this perfume sets, and I liked Stevens review for giving a more precise note breakdown and comparing it to other PDMs.

  • hussain kassim says:

I am craving this scent. I want to get my nose on this scent too badly!!!!

  • mdicker111 says:

Steven’s videos have always been thorough and informative. I have made several purchases fragrance related based on his recommendations and I am absolutely thrilled about the newest PDM fragrance. Jacqueline’s introduction firmly encapsulates what PDM is; a forthright company that captures the very essence of a mood and moment in the tangible bottle of fragrance. Job well done.

  • Eloy Torres says:

Sounds promising! The color and notes sound great for summer. Can’t wait to try it out.

  • cdpigford says:

I’m eagerly seeking a new summertime fragrance and Steven’s excitement about Perseus being the perfect summer fragrance has me super hype!! Love PDM!!

  • I really like the timing of this release. Cant wait to try this out. I think it definitely adds to the fresh fragrances of pdm since I feel like most of their repertoire is mostly deep rich sweeter fall/winter frags.

  • I love pdm and I have been enjoying Layton and Haltane this winter. I’m looking forward to start wearing my percival and greenly and hopefully Perseus in the near future

  • Chris Ullrich says:

Absolutely love your reviews on the latest fragrances. Citrus is my all time favorite note in the fragrance world. Parfums de Marly always does it big with best mode mass appealing DNAs. Thank you for the opportunity and I will follow your Instagram page!

  • neelrkumar says:

Love PDM. Beautiful bottles and scents are complex yet can be enjoyed by the masses. Intrigued by Perseus.

  • Super excited for this giveaway! I love pdm fragrances but unfortunately have only been able to purchase sample sizes in the past. Love the way you described this citrus fragrance on YouTube and the bottle is the perfect shade of yellow! Good luck to all those who entered.

  • Tyrone rollins says:

STEVEN’S Outfit was very fitting. Complimented the beautiful presentation of Perseus.

  • Moses Edwards says:

Being here in Texas I’m always on the lookout for something that smells great and makes people around me and myself feel good at a BBQ, pool or at the beach. Happiness and positive vibes is what I’m about so I’ll definitely be checking this one out. Redolessence hasn’t steered me wrong yet.

  • wallygator88 says:

Thanks for the great review Steven!

Love that this is such a sunny bright and warm fragrance. The play with the vetiver and grand mandarin makes this pretty neat.

I wonder how the longevity is? Oh 8 hours, that’s pretty nuts.

    Cheers from WI, USA

  • Dino_Nugget says:

Love the earthy notes in this fragrance when I sampled it, description of Perseus is especially beautifully said!

  • This is exactly the type of fragrance I’ve been waiting for PDM to make, and this video has me even more pumped for it! I would absolutely love to win this fragrance. Thank you for these giveaways!

  • Huge fan or Marly here and a sucker for bright grapefruit and vetiver fragrances. Can’t wait to try it. The cool orange color doesn’t hurt either!

  • Fernando Arroyo says:

This PDM is a fragrance that I didn’t knew I needed in my life until I watched the YouTube review. The notes description transported me to a sunny day in a Caribbean island.

  • Just starting my cologne exploration, and this would be an awesome first step. I really lean towards niche based scents from what I’ve been smelling so far!

  • marlont88 says:

I do know somebody that owns this bottle and my first reaction is that it is really refreshing especially for the warmer weather. It smells fresh with citrus leaning more on the grapefruit side. I think it can shine with the other pdms such as sedley, percival, greenly, and galloway. It might be even peoples new favorite for the summertime. It will be a must have for me.

  • Steven and Yvan both do a great job at describing the fragrance beyond just the note break down. Any one can read from a list

  • MyUnFabLife says:

We could all use more positive vibes & happiness, this is the PDM I’ve been waiting for ! Love Citrus and ambergris !!

  • Love PDM as a house. Very well done fragrances that last a long time for me but also you can tell it is well crafted.

  • MsKristinaKing says:

I was fortunate to stumble upon your YouTube channel while searching for input on some of the PDM scents, and I am thrilled that I did. I appreciate the excellent descriptive review of Perseus. I was pleased with the comparison with other brands similar scents. I find that tremendously helpful when choosing from the more high end scents. While all scents wear slightly different with individual chemistry, Yvan Jaqueline’s description, “happiness and positive vibes” is exactly the vibe I am looking for this summer. I’m off to watch more of your reviews on YouTube, have a beautiful day!

  • Deangnosis says:

Yvan made me excited about summer with that introduction. Side note, the bottle color reminds me of an egg yolk or of course sunshine. Both seem to have an uplifting energy about them. I like Steve’s note breakdown he always allows you to get a better sense of what actually stands out compared to notes that are hidden in the blend. Sounds lovely. Looking forward to this in the winter wonderland MN USA.

  • Loved the review on YouTube, really want to win this to start my fragrance collection and don’t have the money to spend to buy this so it would help me out

    Carter, New Jersey USA

  • John Taylor says:

Just started collecting and have been wanting something from pdm for a while now, seems like a great first pdm fragrance!

To this day I am still looking for a reasonable way to acquire PDM Carlisle

  • I really liked that Steven compares the scent to other known frags. It helps me to understand where it would fit into my collection beside Artisan Pure and D&G Light Blue eau Intense. I’ve been looking for a beast mode summer fragrance
Yvan Jaqueline’s intro sets up the vibe for the fragrance more than anything. I really like the smell of Clinique’s Happy for Men but it’s a bit juvenile. I’m looking for a high performing version that has a bit more gravitas that would work for an older guy. I think this my just fit the bill for me.

  • Sylviawilliams0808@gmail.com says:

The review makes it sound like the morning burst of citrus to start a warm weather day. I look forward to trying it although he thinks it leans masculine.
