Parfums de Marly Greenley Review (2020)+ Green Apples and Cashmere Wood Draw

Parfums de Marly Greenley review

Painting by Mirjana Gotovac

Parfums de Marly is a niche house that has a cult following in the perfumisti community. We have been writing about their luxury fragrance since 2013, and like most perfume lovers have our favorites. One of the latest this year from Parfums de Marly is Greenley. An appropriate name for this fresh, woody fruit and yes, green perfume.

what is cashmeran

cashmeran structure via wikimedia

According to Sebastian, Parfums de Marly Greenley has two dominant scent profiles: a crisp, juicy, green apple accord and cashmere wood* (*aka cashmeran©-  a synthetic captive from IFF which can smell woody and a musky, with a nuance of fruitiness).  Both Green Apple and Cashmeran are top notes in Greenley. –Michelyn Camen, Editor-in-Chief

  • Glad Sebastian gave a description of pomarose because I’ve been scratching my head over that one. Certainly didn’t know about the raisin nuance. And that pic that he used when describing the mossy base is as close to my description of heaven as it gets! So relaxing. Apples galore! Top 3 from the brand include Layton Exclusif, Oajan and Carlise, in that order! MI, USA

  • Jeremy White says:

Im a huge fragrance condisuer and am very interested in beginning my neich collection i own a great deal of designer fragrances and one of my top favorite is ysl y edp with the delicious apple note and the was Sebastian described the new parfumes de marley i believe this new fragrance could build me even better confidents and help me substain better undwrstood balance through out my day. Thanx guys

  • ThatMulattoDude says:

Really like PdM as a house for their niche fragrance offerings with designer sensibility and wearability. Yet, they do have some fragrances in their portfolio that are more artistic. Bottle presentations are excellent. I have Layton and it’s one of my favorite fragrances. I’d be really happy to have Greenley in my collection. Appreciate the generosity of the giveaway opportunity. Best from Virginia, USA!

  • Brad Woolslayer says:

I enjoyed that Sebastian mentioned that even though he enjoys Greenley, he has smelled other similar scents and also that he prefers the darker scents from PDM. I also liked how he broke down the fragrance as it transitions from top to bottom. I live in Maryland USA.

  • I liked how Sebastian stays honest with his reviews, how that even though he likes Greenley, he does not consider it a gamechanger and that the house has some better offerings. I have never tried Parfums de Marly before so I do not have a favorite by them. I live in Florida, US.

  • Nathalie Rigaud says:

what I enjoyed about Sebastian’s video on the review of Greenley is how in depth he talks about the notes of this fragrance and how honest he is about it! it sounds fresh and gourmand like having apple noted fragrances is a must in a collection I usually have amber and rose like perfumes so I would definitely like to add this to my growing collection!!

  • Tristan Butts says:

I loved how in depth he goes into his reviews. His passion is unmatched in terms of fragrance youtubers. His favorite is Herod!

  • I would love to have one more pdm. Herod is the best and I liked how sebastian presented the new green apple.
    Los Angeles

  • Sebastian always makes the scents sound interesting in addition to the little educational touches included.

  • I really liked Sebastians honest review on Greenley by PDM. It’s quite a unique fragrance from what he typically introduces and I love how when he describes the notes of the fragrance, it gives off a gourmand like vibe. It looks refreshing! I’d like to have this beauty in my growing collection of perfumes. Boston, MA

  • I always love Sebastian’s decription, breadown & his honest opinion of the fragrances in his reviews. I believe his favorite PDM is Herod? I would love to win & get my nose on this one since I just got my first one from this house which is Layton. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!

  • Another great review from Sebastian! I liked his description of a “juicy Granny Smith apple.” His description paints a beautiful picture of what sounds like a lovely fall fragrance.

    Maryland, USA.

  • Moe alihasan says:

I really enjoyed hearing how it went from a crispy green Apple to a woody scent which I love I would love to have the fragrance in my collection.

  • I love the way Sebastian talked about this perfume. I’ve never smelled greenley but I would love to smell. Sebastian’s favorite perfume de Marley is harrod.

  • MaximumGreen25 says:

Sebastian is my favorite YouTube fragrance reviewer. This review matches what I remember Greenley smelling like. I’m a big fan of Parfums de Marly. Herod and Darley are definitely my favorites. I would love to get a bottle of the citrusy apple Greeley!

  • adamthompson06 says:

Sebastian is one of 3 youtube reviewers that I watch for fragrance info. His review of Greenley was short and to the point. Something which I love of his style. Cheers

  • david montgomery says:

I like Sabastian’s reviews, especially of niche and indie brands. He has a sophisticated nose. He is not just guided by what is popular at the time. I look to him to find unique fragrances that are off the beaten path. Greenley would not be my choice of Parfums de Marly, as it seems to be outside their usual scent profile. But I have never not liked any of their fragrances. Love Layton and Carlise. I would guess Sabastian’s favorite would be Harrod.

  • I always enjoy Sebastian’s breakdown of the notes in fragrances. In this review, his description of the type of apple note used was so detailed I could almost smell it. I really enjoy all of the PDM fragrances I’ve tried, but Layton and Sedley get the most wear. I will guess that Sebastian’s favorite from the house is Herod. Big thanks from Chicago, IL.

  • The green apple vibe is definitely drawing me in. Greenley sounds great for warmer weather. One of my favs from Parfums de Marly is Carlisle. Sebastian’s fave is Herod. Thanks for another great draw! Mich USA

  • Marcellus Paige says:

I am just getting back into fragrances and Sebastian is one of the few YouTube reviewers I watch, he is always thorough and detailed with his reviews and it really made me want to try this fragrance. I have not had the opportunity to try any of the De Marly fragrances as of yet so I’m excited for this draw.

  • I LIKE ALL THE PARFUM DE MARLEY LINE AND SADLY ON DON’T OWN ANY FRAGRANCE FROM THIS HOUSE BUT I WOLD LOVE TO HAVE ALL OF THE FRAGRANCE FROM THIS HOUSE THAT YOU GUYS HAVE BUT DEFINITELY I LIKE TO ENTERED IN THE GIVEAWAY

  • Great review and an intriguing sounding fragrance. As for his favorite PDM I would guess Carlisle.

  • Adrian Holubek says:

Loved Sebastian’s description of the apple accord in the top—I am also an apple lover so I am looking forward to trying this one!

  • alejandrocastilla says:

I liked Sebastion’s thoughts on this fragrance , I smelled it at Nordstrom and it smelled so refreshing , I would love it have it in my collection. Regarding Sebastians favorite Parfums de Marly , I would have to guess that is is Carlisle .

  • Wilson Siavichay says:

I smelled and loved, so fresh and fruity, special the apple accord, perfect for spring and summer

  • The Arts Traveler says:

I am looking forward to trying out this fragrance. Based on the review, it seems to be something that I would like.

  • Jerry Johnson says:

I enjoyed his knowledge of the notes as well as his insight on the fragrance as I’ve been curious about Greenley. Thanks for so graciously making the giveaway possible!!

  • Delo McDaniel says:

I enjoyed his review simply because he stated it is a smokier version of Creed Aventus. That’s cool! His favorite out of the PDM line, is Greenley. Thanks for accepting my entry!

  • In Puerto Rico (which is part of the USA, same Postal system and everything), pomarose “pomarosa” is a type of fruit. Looks like a cross between a small pomegranate, apple and pear…but has a rose-ish kind of smell. They are very hard to find, usually in the mountains. I love the idea of the notes, it is like a kind of Calyx but for men or whomever wants to wear it. I would absolutely love to have this in my collection

  • I always love Sebastian’s fun note breakdowns! My favorite PDM is Layton. Thank you for the opportunity! USA

  • Sebastian’s reviews are always very informative. I liked the information he provided on the note of pomarose – I had missed that information from other reviews of Greenley. Watching from Pennsylvania.

  • My guess is that Sebastian’s favorite is Herod, just like me! I really enjoy his honesty and description during his reviews, I have blind bought bottles based on his reviews and am rarely disappointed 🙂

  • Sebastian is so knowledgeable about fragrance construction. I live the way he breaks down the notes in a scent. PDM Greenley sounds like an uncomplicated granny smith apple forward woody fragrance. I do not have a favorite PdM scent but would love to try this one. Commenting from MD, USA.

  • I enjoyed being introduced to pomarose and learning that PDM’s “Greenley” is their version of a fragrance that is of that nature. Currently, my favorite PDM perfume might be “Pegasus”. Sebastian’s favorite PDM perfume might be “Herod”. I’m a subscriber to Sebastian’s channel. I hope that I win the draw; I live in MD., U.S.A.

  • Again such a nice job by the best reviewer on YouTube . Bright and fizzy , a bit also woody , throw some tart greenness and musk into the mix , such a pleasing base. Pure classic I would like to explore. Love both of my Delina bottles , I mean i have the regular one for a long time, and Exclusif version for around month and a half.
I also bought Byerley as a gift for dad’s last birthday, it’s way too mature for my taste, but he absolutely loves it.
    Cheers from VA

  • Another informative review by Sebastian. I love how he was being honest and said that he liked other scents from the house more.
My favorite Parfums de Marly perfume is Layton!
I guess Sebastian’s favorite one is Herod.
    Florida, USA

  • omar_awad_1@hotmail.com says:

I buy most of my cologne based on Sebastian’s recommendations. I don’t have any PDM bottles. Would love to have this one.

  • Bryan Castater says:

Sebastian makes Greenley sounds like an incredible bright, fruity fresh fragrance. I love the house. Sebastian and I have the same favorite Parfums De Marly Herod which is an awesome Tobacco fragrance. I would love to add Greenley to my collection.

  • zacharyari23 says:

I always love watching Sebastian’s reviews, as well as his informative videos on notes. He’s honest, and objectively, I trust his nose!

I appreciate Sebastian’s candor in explaining a fragrance – has it been done before? Do you like another formulation? Does it remind you of something?

Other frag reviewers seem to just say strictly positive or flattering things when they’re “reviewing” a fragrance, or they’re overly opinionated.

As far as the fragrance itself goes, I’m totally sold on the green apple. But my favorite Parfums de Marly fragrance is Herod. It’s stunningly sexy. Which is why it is also Sebastian’s favorite Parfums de Marly frag. 🙂
    Zachary in Colorado

  • Great review by Sebastian as always! I would love to try the one. My favorite offerings from this house are Herod and Carlisle and in general I prefer warm autumn and winter scents more. But I noticed that I’m starting to enjoy freshies like this one more and more. So Greenly will be something I’ll try to test out for sure. Not sure which one of Parfums de Marly is Sebastian’s current favorite. I know he likes Herod, Carlisle and both Laytons. I’ll go with Herod I guess, that one is my favorite, too. I’m from Illinois, US.

  • I loved the green note breakdown and detailed explanation of pomerose! I guess his favorite may be Herod because of the darkness/intensity. Based in US.

  • Omg this video came up on my feed and it got my eye immediately. I was half way in and you started to list all the notes and I haven’t never smelled this fragrance but I think I’m in love! This sounds like the PERFECT fragrance for me but it is way out of my price range so I really really hope I can win!!! This is my first time ever seeing your channel and you review fragrances really good, I’m definitely going to stay for future videos! Great job man! And I’m gonna guess your favorite fragrance from this house is pour home?

  • Bradley Daris says:

The thing I like the most was him describing a scent the smells like fresh Granny Smith apples with undertones of mossy woods. With the presentation of the green bottle, it reminds me of picking apples every fall. My favorite PDM is Nisean, and Sebastian’s is Herod.

  • Gabriel Gallawa says:

I love Sebastian’s ability to give such a good description of the fragrance that you have a pretty good idea of what to expect, even before smelling it. My favorite PDM is Herod.

  • wallygator88 says:

Thanks for the great review Sebastian.

I loved the way uyou described the apple in this fragrance. I was curious about this fragrance and how the apple/ top notes compares to classics like Nautica Voyage and Mont Blanc Presence.

    My favorite PdM is Nisean.

    Cheer from WI, USA

  • Kevin Scharfstein says:

I am guessing Layton is his favorite. I am in search of a fresh everyday scent. Sebastian convinced me this could be it. My favorite is Pegasus Exscusif

  • Greenley sounds great! I love apple based scents, YSL lhomme, Hugo Boss to name a couple designers. Sébastien mentioned that the opening has a green apple juicey and tart smell. Sounds right up my allie! Oh, and his favorite Parfums De Marly is Harod! I dont have any Parfums De Marly in my collection but have smelled many with Pegasus as my top. Love the almond! Thanks so much for your consideration!

  • Hello! I love in Florida in the USA! My favorite PDM fragrance was Herod, but I just got my hands on the news Pegasus Exclusif and it is amazing and so I think that one takes the cake now for my favorite PDM that I currently own! I am a long time subscriber to Sebastian’s chanel! I love how Sebastian really breaks down the fragrances he is reviewing… makes you feel like you really know the fragrance by the time he has finished the video. I like how he describes this fragrance as being all about the green apple note. But also how this fragrance dries down to a really mossy, woody note that just I warm smooth and inviting! Makes it sound like a great fragrance and one I would love to have in my collection!! From the sound of this from his review and also by reading the note breakdown, this seems like an exceptionally well put together combo that I’m sure will be a favorite of mine! I currently do not own any “apple” fragrances and would love for this to be my first! Thanks again!

  • I haven’t been able to try a lot of scents from PdM. I like Delina but not too obsessed with it. I would love to try more from this house. I really like watching Sebastian’s reviews as he’s honest and thorough in his reviews. I can almost imagine how the notes would smell like and it sounds like I would love Greenley a lot as green apple is one of my favorites.

  • I enjoyed Sebastian’s honesty, Greenley is not his favorite and it has been done before, but he still likes it. I love the apple in Layton, so I’d very much like to win a bottle of Greenley… moss and apple, sounds interesting!

  • My first perfume is DKNY green apple. Recently I have Layton. Just wondering if this new one will be like. Thank you for reviewing this fragrance.

  • That nice crisp apple smell sounds awesome! I’m a big fan of apple notes in frags. Great review Sebastien! I own Herod & Layton Exclusif. Wasn’t interested in this one up until this review!!

  • EricTheAviator says:

Sebastian’s reviews are the varsity league reviews.. And it helps that I have similar likes as it relates to scent DNAs. I love apple as a note, (and a snack) so this sounds like a must try! And as for the bonus, Carlisle has got to be number 1 on Sebastian’s favorite list, I mean how could it not be?!

  • Daniel Fisher says:

I like PDM, and I love Sebastian’s realism. My favorite from the house is Habdan, which is certainly not for everyone.
    From Texas with love
    Xoxo

  • Andrés Mesias says:

It’s a wonderful presentation, it will a big honor to try it I never heard about this perfume. Thanks

  • Armando Esparza says:

Juicy, green, tart and cedarwood! Aptly named with green apple dripping all over the opening! Very yummy and crispy sounding. Among Parfum de Marly’s fresher offerings, my favorite would Galloway. Sebastian’s favorite among PDM would be definitely Herod but also the 2 Layton offerings and Pegasus as well. CA., USA

  • I love Sebastian’s reviews because he does a great job of describing notes and the performance of a fragrance. I like that he includes materials used in perfume and what they smell like. I have not tried any Parfums de Marly perfumes, this sounds very nice, I love fresh, woody fragrances. According to this review, Sebastian’s favorite Parfums de Marly perfume is Herod. I am in the US, thanks for the draw. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x6pufFGb91c

  • Parfums de Marly was the first niche I ever smelt and Herod changed the way I thought about fragrances with the tobacco note. They will always have a place in my heart. I’ve never smelt any of their fresh fragrances and greenly sounds great. I always love the images Sebastian puts when he reads a note and the description of the captive ingredient pomarose is very intriguing. Raisins and rose?! I always love a good apple note in a PDM and I’m hoping to get to smell this juicy take soon! From Idaho, USA

  • Huge fan of the PDM line but I’ve only ever been able to afford small decants. Love the description of the juicy apple and am dying to know what it smells like on skin. My favorite from the house would have to be Layton since it’s the one both me and my fiancé absolutely adore on my skin.

  • Wow, is this has the green apple quality described, I’m sure I’ll enjoy it. PdM is one of my favorites – Oajan and Delina are just incredible. Can’t wait to try this one, and I’m gonna go with Herod for Sebastian’s favorite.

  • Hello, my favorite perfum from Parfums de Marly is Layton. I really liked Sebastian’s review and I was actually looking for a green fresh perfume. I bought Bond No.9 Bleecker Street but I did not like it that much. I hope I win!

  • Damian Brotherton says:

He was short, sweet, and to the point. And, he was honest. I appreciate all of that the most.

  • Sebastian says Greenley is a woody musky composition with an apple note that is tart and sweet. It is clear that this composition will appeal to those who enjoy apple note. I also note that PdM has employed apple note in the past so it seems this is a note that is one of the favorites of the brand’s owners. My fav. from PdM is Herod. US

  • I guess Sebastian’s favorite PDM is Herod. I don’t own a bottle of PDM but had sample of layton however it wasn’t my favorite scent.

  • I really enjoy Sebastian’s honesty, that he likes the fragrance but that it is something that has been done before. He makes Greenley sound like a very pleasant and easily likeable fragrance. I haven’t yet tried any Parfums de Marley fragrances, but I want to try Pegasus and Greenley. Colorado, USA.

  • Bryant Worley says:

I really enjoyed Sebastian’s indepth review of Greenley, giving deeper insight on a couple of notes, which makes the fragrance more appealing/mysterious.

As far as Sebastian’s favorite Parfums de Marly fragrance, I believe he loves, Loves, LOVES Herod.

From what I’ve tried, Layton Exclusif is my favorite.

I live in Waldorf, MD, USA.

  • Wudd Bakarjiev says:

This new Greenly from the Sebastian review sounds amazing. I love fresh fruity- woody scents despite Sebastian’s taste, who likes Herod. I don’t own any but was about to buy Sedley based on several reviews. Anyway would like to participate in this giveaway. I’m from sunny Hollywood, Florida.

  • I enjoyed how Sebastian explained a bit about how Cashmere Wood comes off and about what Pomarose smells like. I also loved how specific and well he described the apple in this scent. It sounds like a really nice scent to wear especially in warmer weather. Id have to say my favorite PDM is still Layton, but I haven’t smelled them all. Sebastian’s favorite PDM is Herod. Thanks so much for the generous draw it is much appreciated, from CT USA.

  • sundayjudgejutube says:

I’ve always enjoyed Sebastian’s reviews on fragrances since I found that his taste is quite similar to mine. For this review of Greenley, I love apple. I love to eat apples, all types of apple, and the smell of apple. Each of the type of apples have a different smell but you know you’re smelling an apple when you’re smelling one. I like that it is a crisp, juicy type of smell of apple in this Greenley. Though this is not really Sebastian’s type of a fragrance but I think it is mine. I like fruity smells. Sebastian’s favorite Parfums de Marly is Herod. I have not had a chance to own a Parfums de. Marly fragrance so hopefully this win will be my first.

  • Sebastian’s description of this fragrance with the dripping green apples is my favorite!!! His favorite PDM scent os HEROD…which is the same as mine!!!

  • Oscar Cazares says:

I like how Sebastian emphasizes the freshness of the green apple top note. He always makes it easy for beginners like me to understand what some of these different words smell like. If I remember correctly I remember Sebastian loving Byerley.

  • Vincent Chen says:

His reviews are very thorough, and I love how he breaks down every note. I purchased a bottle of Mugler Pure Havane after watching his videos on it and it’s amazing! I would say Sebastian’s favorite PDM fragrance is Herod. Washington state, USA

  • Vincent Chen says:

His reviews are very thorough, and I love how he breaks down every note. I purchased a bottle of Mugler Pure Havane after watching his videos on it, and it’s amazing! I would say Sebastian’s favorite PDM fragrance is Herod. Washington state, USA

  • Sunshinemayday23 says:

Enjoyed Sebastian’s review on this one so much! PParfums de Marly is my absolute favorite fragrance house. Delina, Herod and Oajan always take a special place in my heart.

  • I enjoyed Sebastians honest approach when it came to his reaction towards the new PDM Greenley fragrance. I appreciated the descriptive information that definetly painted a clearer image of Greenley’s scent life for those who haven’t smelled it yet. I also appreciated that he gave his audience a better understanding of scent profile to the mysterious note of Pomarose that I wasn’t familiar with yet.

Im fairly sure that Sebastian has mentioned Herod to be his favorite out of the entire Parfums de Marly! My personal favorite also happens to be a solid tie between Herod and Layton

  • I liked how Sebastian stays honest with his reviews!! Fresh, appley with gourmand touch – that is it what I want!! I like PdM brand, especially Harod and Layton!
    US

  • I loooove watching Sebastian’s reviews – he is so enthusiastic and his descriptions of fragrances are so vibrant! I’m glad he’s talking about Parfum de Marly’s lighter, crisper fragrances. Even though my favorite is Herod (and would venture to guess that Sebastian’s is as well), I find that PdM does beautifully realistic citruses that really shouldn’t be slept on. I’m a huge fan of the house, and own fragrances from both the female amd male lines, and thing that this could be a wonderful addition to my collection! Reading this from NY, NY and loving it!

  • Shamrock1313 says:

    Great review by Sebastian.
Greenley isn’t groundbreaking, but it’s very nice and I enjoy it in the warm weather. Lasts a long time in the heat as well. My favorite PdM is Layton.
    Pennsylvania USA

  • When I think Parfums de Marly I always think Pegasus . Sure PdM do have all kinds of quality fragrances like Oajan , Herod and Layton ,and the new Exclusif stars , but I do not get how regular Pegasus is getting so little attention. As much as I like the other I’ve mentioned , my 125ml bottle of Pegasus I cherish most. Smells fantastic , lasts over 10 hours on skin , and projects beyond strong – fills up a room. Compliments galore too.
Being in tailoring business, I would wear Greenley while working with clients at the shop. Feels like a happy and cheerful , but also professional kind of fragrance.
I so want to win a bottle, thank you.
    USA

  • Sebastian’s review was phenomenal, as always. He gives honest, unbiased thoughts, which makes it easy to trust his reviews. He does an incredible job of describing the notes in the fragrance and explaining unfamiliar notes like the cashmere woods in Greenley. Watching his reviews are the next best thing to smelling the fragrances in person. My favorite fragrance from Parfums de Marly is Carlisle. I think Sebastian’s favorite Parfums de Marly fragrance is either Layton or Herod.

  • Thank you Sebastian for video!!
I love green apple note in perfume, but
if it is not so overwhelming as in DKNY. And Apple eith gourmand touch will be perfect, fresh and smooth.
    Need try this perfume.
I love PdM, especially Layton, Delina.
    US

  • I have sampled / smelled all Parfims De Marly fragrances , excluding only the new Pegasus Exclusif .
Great house for sure Green juicy Granny Smith nuances are not somewhere in the back , but well pronounced on me. Love the note , and how well is mixed with cedar.
If you’re a fragrance fan, you know why Parfums de Marly had to change the name from Sutton to Greenley. Sebastian briefly mentioned it , but didn’t wanted to discuss it, because the reason is one other brand , by far the most vile niche company on the market, well known for constantly bullying people , if they dare not liking their fragrances, and sharing anything negative about them online.
Thankfully Parfums de Marly is completely different brand , offering not only fantastic fragrances, but special treatment for every single customer.
My favorite Parfums de Marly fragrance is Habdan – it’s UNREAL ‍♂️ how good it is…to me at least.I’ll never get rid of it …no way.One of my all time favorite fragrances. Of course i follow both @cafleurebon @theperfumeguy and @parfumsdemarly for years on Instagram .
    USA

  • I appreciate Sebastian’s breakdown of Greenley. Like how he explained how the ingredients blend and complement each other. My guess is that his favorite Parfums De Marly is Herod.

  • Honeydew Crenshaw says:

    US reader – MS

I like Sebastian’s reviews – diplomatic and never snarky or negative, even when it is clear he doesn’t like a fragrance or some part of a note. I have yet to drop the $ on a PdM scent.

  • Andrei Artimon says:

One of my favourite house , i realy like many of they re offerings , winning this bottle would be a dream come true , new york , usa .

  • Great review as always by Sebastian – down to earth, clear review, giving a good idea of what one can expect from Greenley. Seems that it will be a fresh uplifting perfume, unlike the earthy stronger ones from Parfums de Marly. I have tried Layton Exclusif from this house and like it. Learnt more about the green apple and cashmeran notes in this review, from Sebastian as well as the note from Michelyn..
For extra credit, I would say Sebastian’s favorite Parfums de Marly fragrance is HEROD.
Thanks for the review and the draw. Writing from the USA.

  • isaaclopedia says:

Great review from Sebastian! This fragrance sounds nice, I love green apple and cashmeran. I like that Sebastian is realistic about the fragrances and doesn’t just wax poetic about how beautiful they all are. I’ve only smelled Delina by Parfums de Marly and that one’s a stunner. If I had to guess I would imagine that Sebastian’s favorite it Layton. An oriental floral with coffee notes seems up his alley. California, USA.

  • I liked Sebastian’s review and although I haven’t tried any Parfums de Marly fragrances, his review gave me the impression that this is a very well constructed and balanced scent. Some apple dominant fragrances smell super synthetic, but Sebastian’s enthusiasm makes me think that that will not be the case here. In the US, in NC.

  • I always like Sebastian’s honesty in his reviews, and this video is no different. I also like how he puts pictures up of all of the notes in the fragrance so you can see what they are and where they come from. It really helps visualize what the fragrance smells like. Sebastian has said on a few occasions, such as his Top 10 Parfums De Marly video, that his favorite is Herod. My favorite happens to be Layton, although I have not smelled Herod or this new Greenley. I’m in IL, USA for the giveaway.

  • I love Sebastian’s reviews because- great job, beautifully describing notes and the performance of a fragrance.
Apple with casmeran with wood and gourmand touch – very interesting and promising combination.
According to this review, Sebastian’s favorite Parfums de Marly perfume is Herod. And my favorite is Layton.
    USA

  • Being a vain man compliments are really important to me. Greenley with its citruses, fruity green apples tartness, woody touches for sure will both smell awesome, and also get me unsolicited compliments.
Oajan is my favorite Parfums de Marly, it’s full balsamic sweet oriental I enjoy a lot . My second bottle is half empty, that shows how much I love it.
    Exciting giveaway, USA
    Regards

I love that Sebastian’s reviews are always so detailed and honest. His passion for frangrances really comes through in his reviews. I think his favorite PDM fragrance is Herod. I own Layton (was one of my first niche fragrances I purchased) and I really enjoy it. From Virginia, USA.

  • Wow this perfume sounds interesting.
    The notes fits my character.
Thank you Sebastian for introducing this perfume to me.
    USA , NJ.

  • One of my favorite Fragrance reviewer on You Tube.. His insight of fragrances is very
helpful to me when purchasing some of the unique fragrances. Job well done Sebastian..
Keep up the great work.. I’ve been a collector and a fragrance snob for over 40 years.. My favorite PDM is Carlisle and Layton Exclusive.. Two of the Best well blended fragrance of this house.. I live in Indianapolis, Indiana..

  • John Michael Jones says:

I loves me some Sébastian & I enjoy all his reviews but I really enjoyed this one cause the note breakdown had me drooling. Plus, I can tell he really likes it. My favorite Parfums De Marly is Oajan & Sébastian’s favorite PDM is Herod! He also loves Delina for the ladies but Herod is his #1! Good luck all from Boston, Massachusetts!

  • Sebastian review make me interested in Green apple freshness and cashmere wood combo in Greenley.
PdM great house and I love Safanad. USA

  • Oldmanspiers says:

Thanks for the chance to win a bottle of Greenley. Sebastian’s love for fragrances is so evident in his videos and what I always enjoy the most about them. My favorite PDM would be Oajan. I was wanting to guess Herod for Sebastian’s favorite but I swear that I heard him say before that Carlisle was his favorite so my guess is for Carlisle.

  • Sebastian is my favorite YouTuber so I always enjoy his content. Glad this got his stamp of approval so I’m all in. Id say Carlisle is my fav PDM. I think his favorite is either Herod or Layton Exclusif but for the sake of the game I’ll go Herod.

  • Michael Werno says:

I really liked Sebastian’s description of the apple note in this fragrance. Sebastian’s favorite Parfums de Marly fragrance is Herod. I’m in NY.

  • Ersamir Zekaj says:

I liked how Sebastian mentioned how he has been talking about the cashmere wood before, which is one of the reasons while I enjoy his reviews. He’s one of the creators which I have the most in common when it comes to taste.
I’d go for Herod as his favorite PDM!

  • I like the photography of that green bottle. The apple always gets me as it is a fruity accord that lasts a lot longer on the skin than the traditional bergamot. I know Sebastian likes Herod, but sometimes we need some freshies in the collection.

  • I liked his honest review by saying that its something that has been done before, but still likeable.

  • I love Sebastian’s reviews. They are always full of acknowledge and insightful information that I truly appreciate. Throughout my fragrance journey I have always seek for his opinion and take it into consideration for the purchase and wear of any of the fragrance I own.
As a woman I love PdM with Melina Exclusif being one off my favorites of all times.
I think Sebastian prefered PdM is Herod, I have heard him talking about Herod quite a bit and even on this video he mentioned Herod as one of his most favorite perfumes from this house. Anyways, I love to enter this giveaway. I currently don’t own any fragrance with the notes and accords than this one have. Commenting from Orlando, Fl. USA.

  • Sébastien always bestowing some perfume wisdom on me! Was not aware of what pomarose was. Did PDM finally nail a fresh scent? I own Layton and while it does have some fresh blue elements it much too heavy otherwise to wear in warmer weather. I believe Sébastien’s favorite PDM is Carlisle which also has an apple accord.

  • I really liked the way that Sebastian describes this perfume as green, fresh, and fruity, although it is a bit late in the year to be wearing a fragrance like that in my opinion. I also enjoyed how he mentioned the cashmere wood and its presence in this composition. I do not have a favorite Parfums de Marly perfume since I have never tried one before.

  • Michael Prince says:

Sebastian with another amazing review. A nice green apple and cashmere combination as well as pomerose which is a nice addition to any fruity/fresh fragrance. I too gravitate towards Parfums de Marly’s more complex oriental fragrances with Layton and Herod being my two favorite offerings from the house, but I do think I would love this one as well. I am from Ohio, USA.

  • Thanks for the thorough review! I am not usually a big fan of fruity notes in perfume but this review definitely made me excited to try this fragrance! Thanks from California!

  • I always enjoy how Sebastian breaks down the structure of the perfumes he reviews. I don’t have any perfumes from this house, so I don’t have any favorites. I love the scent of apples, so this will be a winner, I’m sure. Thanks to all those who made this draw possible. I’m in the USA

  • Robert Dirscherl says:

I liked the simple fact that I never saw this fragrance from PDM or any one review this one! Sounds good

  • I’m a huge fan of Sebastian’s Youtube channel and style of reviews and have learnt a lot from him. I went searching for Layton after hearing great things about it and liked it but was blown away by Herod which is my current favorite from the house. I imagine I’d like Greenley since I’ve liked apple based fragrances before and would like to try that green crisp apple note 🙂 Thank you for the review and kind giveaway. I’m in USA

  • Enjoyed his Review. Some of the notes he mentioned I didn’t know about. I had a 5ml sample of this. Nice scent but need more time with it. Thanks for the giveaway, Ca

  • When Sebastian mentioned about juicy, tart and woody at the top, the addition of bergamot makes the composition better, I am sold! His favorite is Herod. Mine is Sedbury. IL, USA

  • Parfums de Marly became a top notch brand in such a short period of time . Amber like smell, woods and gorgeous citruses combinations we all love. My expectations for GREENLEY are really high right now.
As usual I relate all fragrances to some sort of food, making and eating Granny Smith Tarts , and drinking Granny Smith juice is what i imagined.
Personally I know Parfums de Marly for Herod. One of the best fragrances in my relatively small for Sebastian standards 202 bottles collection .
Makes me feel like I’m THE king of the castle
Appreciate the review , and the giveaway campaign

  • Obviously warm weather fragrance we got here – fresh , natural smelling and some woody nuances . Sounds super good , and cozy , especially the tart green apple part.
All Parfums de Marly non-transparent, and transparent bottles look super classy , including Greenley . Call me perfectionist, but bottle design, looks and the way it feels, is important to me. Oajan is my favorite Parfums de Marly , but Delina Exclusif is breathing in Oajan neck all the time. Both are staples for me.
    Thank you

  • Thanks for another great review, Sebastian! I love your honest reviews on fragrances. Thanks for this opportunity. – CA, USA

  • Sebastian’s fav is Herrod.

Apple fragrances are in my top five notes….I would love this. I live in Arkansas.

  • I always love hearing Sebastian’s take on Parfums de Marly, and Greenley sounds sweet and tart, which is just lovely! I look forward to trying it!

I think Sebastian’s favorite Parfum de Marley is Herod!

  • Carlos Hernandez says:

Thank you for the giveaway. Sebastian is easily the best YouTuber in terms of reviewing a fragrance.

  • Cahsmeran is running rampant in the designer world and I don’t really want to see it in the niche world to be honest. But PdM is designer niche, going after the same target audience of something like “a bro in search of beat mode panty dropper.” The price surely unwarranted for this one.

  • I really like his honesty, and that he did not try to hype the scent. Sebastian favorite scents Herod, Layton,Layton exclusif, and Carlisle

  • Samuel Tjeong says:

Love his taste, it’s very unique and I must say his favorite is either Carlisle or Herod since he loves gourmand.

  • As always, I enjoyed Sebastian’s review of this PDM fragrance. His description about the raisins intrigued me.
