Escentric Molecules 05 Series Review (Geza Schoen) + Reader’s Choice Draw

Escentric Molecules 05 Series review

Over the past 11 years, I have interviewed Geza numerous times for CaFleureBon as well as for other publications. His fragrances (for his own brands or for other commissions) have a signature that is uniquely his. In February of 2020, I had the opportunity to be the first blogger to interview perfumer Geza Schoen on the much anticipated Escentric Molecules 05 Series here.

Here is an excerpt:

Michelyn Camen: What was the genesis for Escentric Molecules 05 and Cashmeran, from a creative standpoint?

Geza Schoen: All molecules I chose need complexity. Most or let’s say at least 99% of all aroma chemicals need other synthetic or natural products with them to conquer their linear olfactoric appearance. Cashmeran has got that capacity. First of all it is kind of a hybrid between a woody and a musky ingredient. Secondly, I see a piney note and even a slight fruity note in it. Ultimately it is always the molecule itself which leads to the concept of the corresponding Escentric fragrance. I was able at various stages of the year to observe the smell of a Mediterranean island with its changing natural notes and aromas. after one year it dawned on me that cashmeran would be the perfect base for a fragrance which embraces a summery atmosphere in the hills close to the coastline. Especially the dry and resinous woods towards the end of the summer gives this particular scent which is key to the creation of Escentric Molecule 05.

Editor Sebastian Jara is a real fan of the brand, and has worn Escentric 01 since 2010 as well as owns and purchased Escentric 02 (Ambroxan) 03 (vetiveryle acetate) and 04 (javenol); I encourage our readers and viewers to read my interview  with Geza that discusses Escentric 01-4 here.

Sebastian loves to layer and is very knowledgeable about cashmeran, so watch his video to learn more-Michelyn Camen, Editor-in-Chief

Definitely appreciate the insight and giveaway offered. I’ve been stuck on Molecule 01.

  • I personally would like to win the Molecule 05. I loved how Sebastian explained the history behind Cashmeran and the basic note. I find it super interesting that a single synthetic note can provide different experience between the initial spray, dry down, and the longevity! Also, the interview with Geza showed how passionate he is about fragrance. The excerpt about not knowing if synthetic fragrance would be become trendy shows how unique and passionate he is when it comes to his brand and scents. Overall, I think synthetic notes and lines like this one, is something I’m going to explore more! Looking forward to the future!

I haven’t try any of the EM fragrances and I’m very intrigued. But, between E5 and M5 I would choose E5 not just because all of the amazing notes it have or because Sebastian said that is an awesome fragrance, but because I’m still not into the layering scents adventure yet.

  • Anastasia says:

Hi) I am Anastasia , I am Ukrainian and now I live in USA . I would love to try Molecule 05 as I really always wanted to wear it and never purchased it yet…. I want to try Molecule as I am interested to try more clean scent . I love to watch Sebastian videos, they actually relax me a lot! Plus I really love smelling perfume. I also enjoyed reading the interview with Geza and Michelyn Camen … I loved how Geza described how does he create the perfume ( about smelling Mediterranean islands during the different times of the year)….

  • Fernando Garcia says:

I’ve been a fan of this brand for years. My favorite being Molecule 02. Love your channel. Keep up the great work. Would love to win.

  • Hinoki Rain says:

I love the way Geza describes the new Escentric 05 as a smell of a Mediterranean island but without the artificial “sea breeze” notes. Sebastian’s review was amazing like always.
    I would pick Escentric 5!

  • Carey Frank says:

EM line has been a favorite of mine for a very long time now. EM 01 is my most complimented but 02 is my favorite to wear to date.

  • Molecule 05 Is the frag of choice for me. Sebastian’s review on Looking Feeling Smelling Great. Made me want to go hiking in the woods. Sounds awesome to me.

  • Shamrock1313 says:

Another fantastic review from Sebastian – I enjoy molecule 02 and would love to win escentric 05.
Love the sound of it’s citrus notes.

  • Tyson Couch says:

I would live to get Molecule 5. I have been in love with this company and have Molecule 1,2, and 4… I have been waiting for this new molecule since it was announced a few months ago. Sebastian is always amazing and gives an informed review about this house. I appreciate Michelyn questioning Geza’s thoughts and inspirations on this new scent. I like the idea of the Mediterranean, and I can’t wait to get my nose on either of the new two releases.

  • I enjoyed Sebastians explaination of the different facets of Cashmeran as well as the bit of info he gave on each of the Molecule fragrances. Also I liked how Sebastian discussed using the Molecule fragrances as a base to layer or even boost other fragrances. From the Q and A I thought it was cool and interesting that Geza said he could observe the changes of a Mediterranean island throughout a year in Cashmeran and the different facets it shows which help to develop the Eccentric fragrance. Should I win I would choose Molecule 05. I do live in the U.S. and I did follow the link and am subscribed to the Luckyscent newsletter. Thank you for the generous draw.

  • Greeting from Canada. I’m glad Sebastian did a review about the new 05 Molecules since I found out about it, I wanted to know more, I’m a huge fan of that line I own 01- 03 and 04 and I would love to get the new 05 I follow you, lucky scent and of course @lookfeelsmellgreat.
    Cheers, and stay safe.

  • Michael Johnson says:

I would like to try Escentric 05 for the giveaway with Summer coming soon. I always watch Sebastian’s reviews. He’s got good taste in fragrances and I have bought a few of his recommends. Schoen has quite the nose for unique scents.

  • Geza explains Cashmeran is a hybrid of musky and woody. Sebastian explains these fragrances are great for layering but they can also be worn on their own. My choice is Escentric 05 since it also has other ingredients. US

  • Lonnie Jones says:

I am definitely interested in Escentric 05.
Sebastian makes it sound as if it will be the best the house has to offer as of yet….which I can hardly wait to have a chance to have a little Battle Royale knowing how well recieved the others offerings of the house have done! Great job as always Sebastian! As far as the 03 Series, I’ve never been able to get the 2 offerings to work well with my skin! I ended up gifting them to a friend who’s body chemistry actually worked well with it & often garnered her many compliments! I enjoyed reading the questionnaire & I’m a Huge fan of Vetiver but again, I just couldn’t get the 03 Series to work with me! I once guessed that it was Geza Schoen was the Perfumer for Jeremy Fragrances brand & I actually had the chance to ask him why he didnt take him into consideration with as well as the Escentric Molecule House has succeeded and being it be from Germany….he told me it just wasnt the direction he was trying to go! I shrugged it off and thought to myself …”Well..that’s His loss”!
Hope all is well and good on the end of anyone who is reading this with all the craziness that is going on! Staying positive & keeping the World in prayer & good spirits!

I would like to try Escentric 05 – I hear a lot about the individual molecules. However, I don’t hear as much about the Escentrics. And, Sebastian does a very good job (in general) giving a break down of the fragrance in his review, I think that it would be the sort of bracing, invigoraging and refreshing scent that would get a lot of wear in the upcoming months.

  • Natalia306 says:

Michelyn Camen interview with Perfumer Geza Schoen was very interesting and I learned what was the key to creation of Escentric Molecule 05 , it was” his perfect base for a fragragrance which embrace a summery atmosphere in the hills close to the coastal line, dry and resinous woods towards end of the summer”. Sebastian, thanks for introducing to Molecule 05 and Cashmeran! It’s great for me, because,
I have favorite outdoors hobby: mushrooms picking in beautiful forest!!! So, how I can experience my favorite hobby mushrooms picking staying home ??? Now, I know I can just open bottle of Molecule 05 or Escentric 05 focusing on Cashmeran and there’s it- my wish come true! This fragragrance super interesting, smells woody, musky, complex balsams, resins ,fresh spicy, even fruity and vanillic. It’s great for layering!!!! Molecul 05 cashmiran can give you opportunity to visit forest, woods, pick some mushrooms if you liked it and still stay safe home in the same time .
    Wonderful idea for now .
I think Escentric 05 wonderful choice!!!

    Hello Michelyn!
Excellent Interview. Geza Schoen is such a fascinating perfumer and he is one of my top 3 all time perfumers. His fragrances are often incredibly versatile while being alluring, fresh, zesty/spicy, citrusy and woody. He has such unique flair.
    Signed up for Luckyscent’s newsletter…!
Like Sebastian, I have always loved layering the Molecule fragrances. Fun fact: I have been a fan of the EM line from so very early on in the beginning phase of my collecting hobby. In fact, the one who introduced me to niche, put me on to Molecule 01, which led to purchases of the entire line. I, unlike many friends I know, can so easily detect iso-e-super and ambroxan. Cashmeran, I am unfamiliar with, as a stand-alone note but it is in many perfumes I own. I would love to win Escentric 05 (or Molecule 05 really…I don’t care, because I will end up purchasing the other one IF I should be lucky enough to win.) Such a wonderful opportunity! Fingers crossed. (Niagara Falls, NY USA here)

  • Trinity33 says:

Great review as always Sebastian! I do love the dry, woody scent of Cashneran in Molecule 05. I find it very elegant and comforting. However, I would like to experience the scent of summer in the Mediterranean as per Geza. I’m not usually a fan of marine scents but this sounds like a brand new take. Sheltering in place in MD, USA.

  • I like earthy fragrances, so I’m interested. Escentric would be my choice, if lucky. Thanks Ms Michelyn for the interview with Mr Geza. The smell of a Mediterranean island sounds fantastic. Nice review by Mr Sebastian. Mich USA

  • bizzare13495 says:

I love molecule 1 and 4 so, I can’t wait to try one of these out. And Sabathions video was very informative, I always go to his videos to see his insight on new fragrances.

  • Camille Sheil says:

I could be wrong, but it seems to me that it used to be that theost synthetic a fragrance was, the more it was looked upon, historically. And then we see a lot of synthetics that come through yet we hear how we balance them with naturals for a more well rounded fragrance. Here, we have a more in-your-face presentation; yet stately, not brazen. I generally go for naturals myself but I enjoy this presentation a lot!

I like Geza’s approach, in allowing the scent to dictate the fragrance. I also have enjoyed the Oceanside and know exactly what he’s talking about when he speaks about a resinous oceanic feeling. It really is a beautiful, one of a kind experience.
Sebastian and his suggestion for layering…how wonderful! This molecule sounds like it’s wet, since a mushroom smell to me is always moist. In fact, I’m sure I’ve smelled it in fragrances but their names have all escaped me.

If I were to win, I would like Escentric 05 Escentric. I live in New Hampshire USA! Thank you so much for the draw! I also signed up for LuckyScent newsletter!

  • I always like Sabastian’s review as I find him very honest in his opinion. I have been eyeing eccentric molecule 1 since I first saw it. But haven’t had a chance. I thought it was just to layer other perfumes. After reading the Q&A with Michelyn and Schoen I understood that these are like partners on a dance floor, one that leads ( the molecule) and one that follows ( the eccentrics) with flair and sparkle. So I guess it depends on what moves you more. I would love to try eccentric05. I’ll
Trust in Sebastian that Molecule 05 smells like mushrooms ( woody/earthy perhaps).

  • Andrew Even says:

I loved Sebastian’s review of 05 especially with his experience with the context of the whole line. Not to mention his expertise in niche perfumery in general. I enjoyed Geza’s insight he gives us about the inspiration of the fragrance with the coastal woods and mountains. I’d like to win Molecule 05 but would be happy with either.

  • I would love to try Escentric 05! Sebastian’s review was great in how he relayed information relative to how the other molecule fragrances were like on himself. The Q&A was interesting in how a Mediterranean island inspired it which is a different tale compared to most who use a lot of citrus for Mediterranean coasts instead of a woody feel.

  • ThatMulattoDude says:

I’ve really wanted to try out fragrances from this series. I dig Geza’s concepts behind them and always enjoy his Q&As with your staff. Sebastian does it once again with his review. Painted a nice picture of Escentric 05 that makes me want to grab that one. Appreciate the opportunity to win the giveaway! -Virginia, USA

  • I would love to win Escentric 5. I have never tried the brand before, but I have been following them ever since Sebastian introduced me to Molecule 01. I am not the best at layering fragrances, so having the right notes to go with the cashmeran really appeals to me. As always, I love Sebastian’s videos as they are so insightful, and I am very intrigued by cashmeran. I have never smelled it before, but I am a big fan of woody fragrances so I believe that I will enjoy it. Nevertheless, a great review as always.

  • I would like to win eccentric 05. Though they both sound great. Loved sebastian’s video and the article was informative.

  • Notes on Escentric 05 (Escentric) sounds awesome to me. Sebastian’s reviews are always worth listening to and kind of indepth in its content. In past I have bought Guerlain Vetiver Extreme, after listening to Sebastian, and I enjoy the fragrance a lot. And as far as Michelyn Camen’s Q&A is concerned, it has detailed ingredients of fragrance, that sounds a wonderful combination to me. The fragrance sounds to have a woody combination of synthetic notes. Waiting to sniff the E05 soon. #stayhome #besafe

  • Rosemarie Dages says:

I would love to win Escentric 05. I love Sebastian’s videos and love his descriptions of fragrances. This sounds very intriguing and something I would love to wear.
I’m a subscriber to Sebastian’s videos, the Luckyscent newsletter, and I just registered here.

  • Don Bethman says:

I’m Intrigued. Essentric 05 would be my first choice, though I’d like to sample both eventually. Once again, Sabastian has me intrested in a scent I didn’t know I wanted.

  • Lara Anderson says:

Have long been a fan of Cashmeran and Jara’s overview of both fragrances was especially intriguing. Of the two I think I would like the Escentric 05 simply because it is a “complete” fragrances and not the simple note. Have Escentric 04 with the top grapefruit note and absolutely love it. This is a time tested and true exciting line that is probably one of the most versatile out there. Thank you for this giveaway and I would feel truly lucky to receive one of these bottles.

  • Andrei Artimon says:

Love the whole idea behing the brand and perfumes , molecule 01 and eccentric 4 i like the most , new york , usa .

  • Armando Esparza says:

I certainly agree with Sebastian’s review of Molecule 05. I’ve ordered a sample of both from Luckyscent recently and I do find it does have a spicy and freshness to it initially. I need to wear Eccentric 05 a bit more to better understand its creative take and the main note of cashmeran but as of now, I’d definitely choose Molecule 05!
Geza also mentioned that cashmeran would be the perfect choice for the next Molecule fragrance as a base to have to enhance the feel the freshness of summer especially through the notes of dry and resinous woods. Great job on the fragrance and the review!
    South Gate, Ca.

  • I’ve tried several of these from the molecule line and do like them. My favorite question from the Feb interview, “What took so long between launching 04 and 05?”. For this draw I’d choose the Molecule 05 bottle.

  • TE Withrow says:

I would love to win E05. Sebastian is always so knowledgeable with so many details about the fragrance…and I appreciate Geza Schoen was very informative! I live in Illinois US.

  • None of the Molecule fragrances smell like much to me but they always intrigue me! I like how Sebastian talked about the history of cashmeran, so I guess I’m more drawn to Molecule 05? I do like how Geza Schoen takes the time to create unique fragrances and the Q&A is a small window into his process for me

  • Sebastian was very excited about this new fragrance from Geza Schoen. He describes in detail how his fragrances work and Cashmeran in the new #5. Michelyn’s interview was interesting and revealing “Especially the dry and resinous woods towards the end of the summer gives this particular scent which is key to the creation of Escentric Molecule 05.” I would pick Escentric 5 if I would win. USA

  • abbie road says:

sebastian is so wonderful. he knows how to breakdown a fragrance flawlessly. i would choose molecule 5 for my husband. he would love the dry resinous woods. michelyn’s interview is super interesting. USA

  • Thank you to Lucky Scent for this opportunity to win a bottle of Molecule 05/Esentric 0! (I’ll abbreviate as “E” in my comment because autocorrect keeps changing it to “eccentric”). Registered reader & follower of Sebastian’s YouTube channel from Seattle, WA. I’m most intrigued by the E 05 as it sounds by Sebastian’s description as a beautiful summer scent and I’m currently on the hunt for those to fill out my fragrance wardrobe. To be honest, I’ve never purchased nor sampled a Molecule scent as there are so many scents to sample and these molecules are already present, sometimes the main player, in so many fragrances so it seemed redundant to purchase these. However the way that Sebastian described the whole series is the first time I’ve heard someone talk about how to wear and enjoy them and his description of the E-line really intrigued me the most, especially now knowing Geza is the perfumer. I really like the comment from Geza from the Q&A about how he only works with “molecules that require complexity”. For me that is a requirement for a scent, I enjoy the complex scents in which you really get more than just ‘sweet’ or ‘woody’ but there are multiple notes, elements to the scent that keep me interested in it throughout the wearing. Thank you again to CFB, Sebastian, and LuckyScent! Jackie

  • Dana Canahai says:

I appreciate the giveaway offered. I love to wear Molecule 01. It smells so clean!

  • Bryant Worley says:

I want Escentric 05, as that.sounds like it’s going to give me the bestest ‘nosegasm’. And I really appreciated Sebastian’s enthusiastic breakdown of what Casmeran was/would smell like. Michelyn’s Q & A was quite informative, giving us a nice glimpse into the performer’s ‘process’. I live in Waldorf, MD, USA.

  • Hello- if I win I would love to receive the Eccentric 5- just as an entry point into your brand!

  • Nice review. Is it really just one molecule in Molecule 05, or some other notes added – seems it could be too linear with just one? For this reason alone, it would be interesting to try out Molecule 05 to see how a fragrance based on only one chemical smells like, though it seems even with one molecule, Molecule 05 has multiple layers unfolding over time. Sebastian’s review was quite interesting in laying out the differences between the two fragrances.

Didn’t know much about cashmeran so wikipedia helped – https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cashmeran .

Escentric 05 sounds more interesting as a blend of cashmeran with other chemicals to create the Mediterranean accord, as it were.

So, were I to win the draw, will be happy with either Molecule 05 or Escentric 05, as I am new to this series.

Thank you for the draw and the review – writing from USA.

    Thanks for video and giveaway.

  • Leo-Graceous Kalunduka says:

Sebastian’s reviews are really the most insightful in the game. The fact that Escentric 05 has Molecule 01 and Molecule 02 in it, together with the Molecule 05 makes it the most alluring choice to sample.

  • chrisskins says:

Sebastian did a great job of explaining the differences between the Molecule line and the Escenric line. Frankly, it always confused me. That said, Molecule 05 lost me at mushroom and Escentric had me at citrus and invigorating. I like how Michelyn urged Geza Schoen to elaborate on the creative process and the power of the one synthetic note concept. I’d love to win the Escentric 05 and I live in NY.

  • The way Sebastian explains fragrance seriously makes me want to buy every single thing he likes. I think of all of the pro reviewers, he is my fav. I would love to own Molecule 05. 01 and 04 are AMAZING and I know I would feel the same about EM 05.

  • Gabriel Cote says:

I would prefer to win Escentric 05 as I like complete scents and I have not started layering yet. I loved sebastien’s review as always he is so skilled at describing scents and revealing their characteristics.

  • Sunny Chaudhary says:

I had read the interview and Sebastian’s review complements really well. Owning a Molecule fragrance is definitely on my list to owns sometime soon.Draw is really appreciated. Reader from Los Angeles, USA

  • Elena zinkevych says:

I was absolutely blown away with EM 01 that I had successfully finished in a little over a year .
After watching Sebastian’s video I now want to purchase 04 since I’m also in love with sandalwood. And Sebastian was actually the one who signed me up for that note and many fragrances in general 🙂 I was lucky to meet him in person and followed with many purchases based on his suggestions.
As of right now I’d love to win a Escentric 05 to be able to enjoy a full picture of this scent and the cashmeran molecule in the center.
    Thank you
And good luck to me 🙂

  • bigscoundrel says:

I own Molecule 04. It is great for layering, so it was nice to hear from Sebastian that this is still true for Molecule 05. Woods & mushrooms sounds very interesting. Geza describes cashmeran in a way that makes it sound very versatile. New Jersey, USA.

  • Jaire Byers says:

I’ve had Escentric Molecules on my radar ever since I started following Sebastian’s channel! Escentric 01 is one of my favorite fragrances of all time, just a perfect, versatile woody freshie with some edge and longevity.

Sebastian always has a great way of describing fragrances with imagery that makes me want to try so many different fragrance styles. I also loved getting to hear Schoen’s perspective on the fragrance and what he had in mind, and just how the whole EM series has taught me so much about notes and chemicals in perfumery throughout history.

For the giveaway, I’m interested in the Molecule 05. I’ve been trying to find a woody musky fragrance, so this could be the one for me!

  • patrick_348 says:

I would pick Escentric 5 because I have read to much about Geza Schoen and would like to experience wearing one of his blended fragrances. I like how informative his interview was in terms of learning about cashmeran. Sebastian, as always, did a great job reviewing the two new offerings; his descriptions were vivid and he gave a good sense of how each might be worn. I’m in the US, in NC.

  • i read that Q&A interview and was amused when michelyn asked geza what took so long between 04 & 05. sebastian’s reviews r always enlightening, even more so when he’s been wearing a fragrance for awhile. i’m now trying to wrap my head around mushroom fragrances. now if i won! i’d pick escentric 05 due to the added citrus. thank you!

  • NiceVULady says:

Loved Sebastian’s review as always. I’d like Escentric 05 as it has the appeal of the countryside. Sounds wonderful. I’ve never tried any of this line, so this would be the first. Thanks for a great review and a generous draw. I’m in the USA

  • I’ve been reading about Molecule perfumes for so long that I cannot wait to be able to try one one. Thanks for the offer.

  • Sebastian’s review is informative both in terms of the history and actual scent of the molecule. I love the contradictory notion of an earthy aromachemical, and as a fan of layering, I appreciate Sebastian’s description of this as a scent well-suited to that practice. I’m most drawn to the Escentric version of 05, based purely on personally preferred notes. I’m in the US.

I do own Molecule 1 and I continue to enjoy it. I love the way Seb review fragrances, total honesty. E5 sounds very interesting to me.

  • Escentric Molecules fragrances I use if I want to prolong the longevity of other perfumes, giving them some woody or fresh twist.
I wonder what kind of twist Escentric 05 will give to my gourmands?
Appreciate the review, and the giveaway campaign. USA

  • Such a informative video! Great job Sebastian. I enjoyed this review and new knowledges about cashmeran. I like cashmeran fresh resinous woodsy aspect. It will be very interesting to have as a base for layering with my fresh perfumes.

  • Sebastian has so much knowledge! And I love hearing perfumers discuss their creations in their own words. I would love to win Escentric 05 Escentric. and am in the US

  • Brandi L. says:

I haven’t tried a molecule fragrance at this point, but I look forward to it. I’ve heard so many reviewers share their unique experiences with molecule fragrances, I’m looking forward to creating my own.

  • I love Geza’s creations. I have Escentric 01 and Molecule 01. Love layering together and using with other perfumes for fun. I also got samples of all the others in the series. Definitely like to experiment. I would love to try both. I’d pick Molecule I think if I won as I like the inspiration of the Mediterranean at end of summer I’m in US and thank you.

  • It’s still cold on the outside, I’m so looking for the warmer weather. Essential 05 is my pick, fresh and green fragrance I’ll happily wear on different occasions.
Thank you for the generosity. USA

  • If I win, I’d prefer Escentric 05 over Molecule 05. the review was cool. It sounds like Escentric mixed the previous molecules with this one to make the Escentric 05 fragrance. Of the Q&A, i noticed that vetiver fragrances without citrus notes do have a grapefruit vibe to them (encre noire, for example), so this confirmed what I always thought. I also never realized vetiveryl acetate is derived from natural vetiver oil.
Im in the US. Thanks for the draw

  • Michael Prince says:

I enjoyed Sebastian’s review of Escentric Molecules 05 and Michelyn’s interview with Geza Schoen who created all the Escentric Molecules fragrances. They are popular for a reason…they are dumb reach inoffensive creations that focus on a specific molecule and can be used as a stand alone or baselayer fragrance. Cashmeran is very popular in fragrances now with an appealing woody/musky smell to it. I am from Ohio, USA.

  • If I were to win I would like to try the Escentric 05 as I am not yet experienced enough to be layering fragrances. I personally like how well Sebastian describes the differences between Molecule 05 and Escentric 05. I tested a few product on which he has reviews and found them to be very close to his descriptions, so I trust his reviews as a base line for what I may enjoy. As far as the Q&A with Geza Schoen I particularly liked how he talked about wanting to capture the scents of a Mediterranean island. I am from Italy so that really resonated with me. Also how he mentioned his daughter in the end. I like it when people talk about their family. It makes them feel more relatable.

  • Geza Schoen I know because of Ormonde Jayne fragrances he created , Escentric Molecules I have never smelled . Escentric 05 is my pick

  • Amazing review by Sebastian he knows fragrances and notes like a Nurse knows meds. I personally love Molecule 01. I would love Molecule 05 to win. Thanks for the draw. I live in CA, USA.

  • Escentric Molecules are famous for safe pleasing fragrances, and that’s exactly what I’m expecting from Escentric 05 and Molecule 05.
Molecule 01 I had up until recently. Escentric 05 please
    Thank you.

  • Great job as always Sebastian! as I understand these fragrances are great for layering and also be worn on their own.
Thanks Michelyn for interview with GezaSchoen. I love the way Geza describes the new Escentric 05 as a smell of a Mediterranean island but without the artificial “sea breeze” notes. Sounds very interesting. I own EM Escentric 02.

It was nice to learn about Sebastian take on
the new Escentric Molecule fragrances, Escentric 05 , and Molecule 05. Safe scents do have their role in my life.
Molecule 01 I use for layering purposes, works really well with fresh citrus fragrances. Escentric 05 mixed with Molecule 01 feel like nice mix I can’t miss.
    Many thanks USA

  • Excellent review by Sebastian! I always enjoy Sebastian’s knowledge and enthusiasm in his reviews. I love that he stated that this one is earthy, woody, and reminded him of mushrooms. I also love that Molecule 05 can be layered with Esentric 05 and I am glad that Sebastian mentioned that in the video. I am a huge fan of Molecule 01 and I cannot wait to try this one. Thanks for the generous giveaway and I live in the US!

Sebastian’s review about this fragrance was very detailed oriented, love the way he take us down memory lane going over so many of the wonderful creations of this fantastic company. I had the privilege of using Molecule 2, so I respect and love every single one of their creations.
I have to add that Michelyn’s Q and A with Geza Schoen was also very informative and it provides me with a very clear insight into the creation and mind set of the perfumerer and his vision from a creative standpoint. I’m commenting from Orlando, Fl. Thank you for the opportunity to participate in this review.

  • I would want Molecule 05 should I win. Sebastian did a great job explaining the history and notes.
I think Michelyn did a great job asking about the genesis of Escentric Molecules 05 and Cashmeran. It’s always a great idea to know how it all started.
    Thanks for the code

Escentric 02 I received for Christmas. Honestly I was not expecting much, but to my surprise it actually projects pretty good for ~2 hours.
I like Geza Schoen approach “I do what I do, and don’t care about the others”.
Cafleurebon and Escentric Molecules I already follow on Instagram. Escentric 05 i’d like to win
To all Cafleurebon crew and readers, stay safe and healthy

  • I’m a fan of M1 and a favorite of my coworkers. If this new release is as Sebastian describes it “mushrooms” on the skin I will have to beat the mycophiles off with a stick. If I should win I want to try Molecule 05. USA

  • These sound so complex. Even listening to Sebastian, I am reminded of an earlier interview Michelyn did with Geza. He seems quite complex, himself.
The fragrances he has created are completely intriguing to me. USA
I think I’d try Molecule5 but either would be exciting to try!
