You are obsessed with fragrance and beauty.You pin it, tweet it, instagram, post it, p.m., i.m., blog, join facebook groups…but it still isn't enough. Because all these social media platforms can't do it everything at once….that is until now. Why not have it all?
Pampadour.com was founded by brother and sister-in-law, Roy Hakimian and Jennifer Hakimian, a self–declared beauty junkie. Jennifer was looking for a place to share her beauty wisdom. “I am not a makeup artist or a professional stylist, though I started getting personal requests from friends asking for makeup recommendations,” she says. “I realized that few of my friends had the patience or the know-how to sort through endless products and that sharing beauty could be easier and more dynamic with a social network completely devoted to beauty.” With Roy’s entrepreneurial experience in the luxury field and Natalie Mazloumi, a childhood friend of the Hakimians, who curated all the technological aspects of the intricate website, Pampadour came to life.
So how is Pampadour really different? The platform focuses on user generated activity that's specific to beauty. Pampadour is not an online shop or an editorial platform. While other sites apply similar social features, they are primarily online shops and/or editorial sites. There are unique features tailored to the beauty and fragrance enthusiast that bring the sharing experience to another level. For example, you can tag photos and videos with products and literally hover over an image to see what products are used in the image. You can also directly send a product to a friend with a simple click. If a friend asks you for a recommendation you can respond by attaching the product in your comment.
Industry Professionals and Bloggers are increasingly popular on pampadour.com and you can interact with your favorite make-up artists, hairdressers, bloggers, and fragrance specialists. Soon there will be brand pages on which users can follow and interact with brands. So, when a user clicks to purchase a product they are redirected to the website where the products came from, typically the brand's own online shop or another online shopping site/online department store.
Pamp it! Share products, photos or videos within Pampadour or other social media outlets, and store them in your Pampadour profile page.
Adour it! "Heart" or "Like" either a product, photo, video or discussion post.

Following a weekly theme, The Daily Pamp opens a discussion among industry insiders and beauty and fragrance lovers who share their adventures and insights.
