Atelier des Ors PINK ME UP Review (Marie Salamange) 2022 + Les Années Folles Giveaway

Atelier Des Ors pink me up review

Atelier de Ors PINK ME UP by Olya Bar

If you have ever indulged in champagne, you know the sweet taste of pleasure that first fizzy sip has to offer. A fragrance created out of an appetite for life and festivities, Atelier Des Ors PINK ME UP is a joyous bubble of delicious pleasure swirling in a crystal glass.

Atelier des Ors PINK ME UP and NOIR BY NIGHT are the two latest creations in the Frivolité collection, signed by Marie Salamagne of Firmenich, the perfumer for the house. Life without little frivolities wouldn’t be as pleasurable, wouldn’t you agree? Hence the collection’s name—a salute to effusive emotions and Art de Vivre. Atelier des Ors PINK ME UP is one delectable cocktail of fruits and florals, the addictive pétillant of the drink known worldwide to symbolize a celebration. This propensity to revel in pleasure has been a part of the heart and soul of French culture, beauty and bonheur for centuries. The history of Champagne began when the Romans planted vineyards in this region of northeast France in the 5th century, or possibly earlier. Over centuries, Champagne evolved from a pale, pinkish still wine to a sparkling wine and the alcoholic drink of choice for celebratory toasts, to mark the New Year and christen ships.

Still from The Great Gatsby 2013

The sense of playfulness and fun in PINK ME UP is also a nod to the spirit and hedonism of Les Années Folles, or “crazy years,” in France during the 1920s. The term was coined to describe the rich social, artistic, and cultural collaborations of the era. Here in the USA the decade is known as Roaring Twenties or the Jazz Age; it was also the years of Prohibition when the government banned  the sale and import of alcoholic beverages.

Atelier Des Ors PINK ME UP with champagne

Atelier des Ors PINK ME UP by Olya Bar

The idea to create Atelier des Ors PINK ME UP was in response to the past few years of stagnation and uncertainty worldwide; there was a true craving for something playful and light-hearted, hence PINK ME UP was beginning to macerate. The zestiness of bergamot in the opening quickly gives way to the delicate aroma of orange flower petals. The true beauty of this fragrance lies at heart, a distinct champagne ingredient that makes it unique. It was created in partnership with the Firmenich laboratory in Grasse, using NaturePrint® technology. As any champagne lover can attest, a flute or two of this golden elixir and life suddenly seems much brighter, as if you suddenly put on a pair of pink sunglasses. Atelier des Ors PINK ME UP achieves precisely that feeling; after a hefty spritz, everything seems juicier and happier. I credit it to the uplifting succulent blend of the rose centifolia and its deep, slightly spicy, and rich, honeyed aroma. The importance of this ingredient is close to heart for Atelier des Ors, sourced from the rose fields at the Domaine du Clos Notre Dame, owned by Alain Rebuffel and his family. It is truly a special treat to visit the fields to inhale the wonderful fragrance of the flowers and to witness the harvesting of the petals. Rose Centifolia is the center ingredient of their most recognized perfumes and one of my favorites, Rose Omeyyade. The rose note is seamlessly blended with blackberry and soft iris accords to intensify its ripe facet creating the overall sense of Rosé champagne. There is a touch of warm fluffy musk and patchouli, grounding the composition and bringing it to the perfect balance. As the world is awakening and lifting itself back up after the past few years of the unknown, we all have a lot to celebrate, so let us raise a glass to that.

Champagne by Olya Bar

Spritz Atelier des Ors PINK ME UP and plunge into the bubbly pleasures of life as if it were a bathtub filled with champagne. Is it ridiculous, shamefully fun, or just decadent? Probably all three, but one thing we learned over the past few years is not to hold back.

Notes: Bergamot, orange flower petals, champagne NaturePrint, Rose Centifolia, Blackberry, IrisPatchouli, Musk.

Disclosure: The bottle was kindly gifted to me by Atelier des Ors but opinions are always my own.

  • I love this house’s DNA and everything I have tried from Atelier des Ors was special. From the notes breakdown, Pink Me Up seems to follow the steps of it’s older siblings, and I feel this is going to be remarkable as well. Roses and champagne? Sign me up!
    Thank you!

This really caught my eye, the new launch sound interesting. Maybe it will evoke the same sparkly, fizzy feeling as Choeur des Anges, who knows. Can’t wait to try it.

  • From the name to the color of the perfume, Atelier des Ors PINK ME UP, indeed, looks like it has been inspired by champagne with rose overtones. I am in the US.

  • Atelier”s des Ors Pink me up sounds wonderful. Love Olya’s review. The notes are great. It’s a party in a bottle Rose & champagne. Thank you for this Chance USA

  • Olya is really catching my attention with this gorgeous sounding new release! I’m looking forward to trying the champagne note with rose, blackberry and patchouli. I agree that we could use a fun and bubbly fragrance after the stress of the last few years.

I also enjoyed reading about Jean-Philippe Clermont’s experiences living in the Middle East. I’ve always wondered why he includes gold in the bottles, and now I know! My favorite Atelier des Ors fragrance is Rouge Sarây.

  • While reading Olya’s review I thought this is a perfect perfume for winter, after 3 years of lockdowns, lack of travel, isolation, and so on. Yes, ambery and earthy dark perfumes are preferred in winter, but just reading about Atelier des Ors PINK ME UP is so cheerful. So what if it is winter, I would try a cheerful, happy, perfume like Atelier des Ors PINK ME UP. If one doesn’t drink alcohol or champagne, Atelier des Ors PINK ME UP may fit the bill 🙂

Reading the linked article on Jean-Phillipe Clermont, I found that he is very well-traveled and has smells from all over in his olfactory repertoire. I liked this quote by him:
“I developed Atelier Des Ors to bring my passion for art, refined craftsmanship and beauty together. My dream is to create perfumes that fuse together these elements to give the wearer something they will be proud to wear, will take pleasure in and find some inspiration at any given moment. When I first started Atelier Des Ors I didn’t really look too hard at what others were doing. I had a vision of what I wanted to create and I felt that there was a place for my dream.”

Thanks for the review and draw. From USA.

  • I enjoyed how beautiful and detailed the review was. I think that Jean Phillipe and his perfumes are something really special and I’m very happy that I discovered this fragrance house. I live in Trzebnica, Poland, EU.

  • thee_boy_wonder says:

I absolutely LOVE the presentation from this brand! And the notes of this fragrance sound flirty and effervescent; Olya did an amazing job on this review!

I was so inspired by Jean-Phillipe journey with creativity. Sometimes you can just be called to create and you have to follow your instincts. I loved how his experiences with different cultures impacted his appreciation of scents and aromas.

  • Johnmichael02302 says:

This sounds right up my wife’s alley. I love how detailed Olya’s review was & how she makes you feel right there with her. Jean-Phillipe Clermont’s article hit home for me because I can tell he’s 100% all about family & so am I.

  • Loved reading Olya’s evocative review, especially how she described this as a bright, happy pick me up. I’m sure we could all use that currently. Love the new pink bottle too.

“The quest for beauty and a refined aesthetic are key for Atelier Des Ors and we do not like to compromise.” From the interview with the brand’s owner, this quote really stuck with me. What a beautiful line summing up their aesthetic, and I’d say they’ve certainly succeeded, what with how gorgeous the bottles are.

  • paulina.genevieve says:

This launch, and scent, are right up my alley. I love the imagery of the Great Gatsby that you’ve described Olya & it smells like it will be a magical scent. I love a fizzy & sparkling note, and the champagne note sounds amazing. Plus blackberry & rose centifolia. I agree. I need a little fun, decadence & debauchery in my life – especially this holiday season!

  • Olya!!! ❤️❤️❤️ Love your review!!! I MUST experience this fragrance! It sounds fantastic! The importance of rose to champagne is key! Rose bushes are planted at the ends of vineyard rows as an early-warning system for various pests, mildews, and diseases. Roses and grape vines are indeed intertwined far back in history! ❤️ I’m so curious about the @NaturePrint technology! JP Chermont’s article is fascinating! Having such a rich and diverse nose training must bring unique ideas to this house. Thank you for this wonderful opportunity!! I Must try this!!! USA ❤️

  • Jacob Savitt says:

This fragrance sounds fantastic- I loved the way that this particular one captures a very natural champagne smell because I’ve yet to find something extraordinary but judging by the article, Atelier Des Ors is a brand dedicated to pure craftsmanship bringing this exact natural nature straight to every bottle! Would love this!

  • I enjoyed Olya’s message about the intention of this new blend – to celebrate life, to enjoy what we have as we’ve just survived some perilous years together.
What I liked about Jean-Phillipe’s article was how much attention was given to food in his travels and life – from his grandmothers desserts to Lebanese mezze…and now we have 2 new ones in that vein – champagne and caviar. I also now appreciate where the heavy cut crystal bottle comes from (a family who made China and serving pieces) and the gold is certainly a beautiful bridge of east and west, like his travels and his blends. Fingers crossed on this one!!

  • Shelley Johnson says:

I am fascinated by the idea of a champagne note in a fragrance. Would love to experience it. Jean-Phillipe’s experience with cigars and the impact it had on the development of scents is interesting. Will the tobacco note translate into all of them or is the influence more subtle?

  • This scent has my wife’s name written on the bottle. Champagne – yes. Blackberry and soft iris – yes. Both of us like many of the creations by house perfumer Marie Salamagne for this brand. I’d love to win this to Germany, thank you for the draw.

  • Stunning photos! I think you can get a pretty good idea on how Pink Me Up should smell like: effervescent, glamorous, crazy fun.
Just the qualities one who enjoys life to the maximum should seek for in a fragrance.
Many thanks for the review and the wonderful draw! EU

  • Just put on your pink sunglasses and a drop of Atelier Des Ors Pink Me Up and enjoy the ride! Thanks from EU!

  • It’s true we have all been deprived of life’s beauty for the last 2 years, so the part I loved most about Olya’s review is the description “plunge into bubbly pleasures of life as if it were a bathtub filled with champagne.”
Takeaway about the brand: love the story behind it and how they pay special attention to every detail and work on each perfume as if it was a piece of art while reinterpreting French heritage with a modern twist.
    Hugs from Croatia, EU

  • Danu Seith-Fyr says:

A fabulous new release from this contemporary house with a classic cadence. I am so impressed by both new Atelier des Ors, Pink Me Up has the most delightful champagne accord derived as Olya describes, it is truly like inhaling deeply above your crystal coupe. Incredible perfume full of joyous delight. Olya has captured its efferescent magnetism. Bravo.

  • Sounds so good and the pictures – I cannot resist. I am not sure about champagne note, but other notes sound like a soft sunny fruitchuli. The bottle looks stunning, too. I need some bubbly experience to cheer me up.
I am from the EU and I would like to participate.
My favorite from the line is Choeur des Anges.

  • Awesome review,i enjoyed the history of champagne and how that perticular drink is more than just a drink,is a symbol The analysis of the fragrance makes me want to have the experience of smelling it. Also, i read a small part about 1920s (Jazz Age) , which is an Age that i would love to live in just because i love jazz, speakeasys and so on. In conclusion, this fragrance would be an incredible experience for anyone who is willing to be captured by it’s aroma. I live in Greece,EU.

  • The review had me intrigued on how this smells, especially because of the champagne accord. I’ve searched what NaturePrint® means and they say: We analyze the natural fragrance from ‘mute’ flowers or any other materials that only surrender their scents into the ‘headspace’ around them – then use advanced technology to “recreate nature while not damaging it.”
I have L’attesa which is said to have a champagne accord and I guess there is a fizziness that could be it.

Jean-Phillipe says “I developed Atelier Des Ors to bring my passion for art, refined craftsmanship and beauty together.” which he succeeded as the bottles are artsy and I do believe the perfumes I’ve tried are crafted beautifully.

    I’m in the EU.

  • ianbradleyandrews says:

Rose blended with iris sounds great here! I love both of those. It is very clear to see that atelier de ores was influenced by the founders childhood and growing up in various different locations. I love how this allowed him to experience things he would not have otherwise.

  • There are some early memories of specific smells from this time that I can recall. My grandmother made pear jam from their harvest at their countryside house. The pear trees were organic and very old. The “Gateau Petit Duc”, home made caramel and “œufs au lait” deserts were always cooking and the smell filled her home each time I visited her for holidays. I enjoyed this about Jean Phillipe Clermont early memories and association with smell. I am intrigued by the notes especially Rose and Patchouli this sounds like a magical concoction. Thanks a million from the UK

  • love my ancestor’s ground where stories of druids, Breton goblins and foggy weather suggest the existence of another world filled with mystery and fantasy. I always feel at home when I am going back there. My love for tradition and heritage comes certainly from there. I have always been interested in creativity and commerce. When I was young these passions first came together when I sold seashell necklaces to my parents’ friends and even though the idea didn’t really take off I was already interested in making and selling beautiful creations. I also liked to draw and grew up with my mother’s paintings and being around her art and creativity has always made me want to seek the aesthetically pleasing. I loved reading about Jean Phillipe Clermont earlier childhood and memories and how it has shaped creaative direction. A beautiful description by Olya really fascinated by the notes this sounds amazing. Thanks a lot from the United Kingdom

  • Who knew the Romans are responsible for champagne? The notes are most of my favorites. Thank you for the drawing. USA

  • katyakotovskaya says:

This fragrance looks really fun! I agree with Olya, life is too short to not have spontaneous moments of pleasure, and sometimes it is totally worth seeing the world through rose-tinted glasses. Would love to try this on! Thanks, I am from EU

  • I enjoyed Olya’s enthusiasm describing Pink me up as the light-hearted, happy, careless perfume it is. The cheerfulness of bergamot and champagne and the sultriness of the rose and musk truly sound like a delicious concoction. Sometimes a perfume does not have to be too philosophical or overwhelming in order to improve one’s day.
Just as Jean Philippe Clermont said in the previous interview (which will also help my comment count twice), “My dream is to create perfumes that fuse together these elements to give the wearer something they will be proud to wear, will take pleasure in and find some inspiration at any given moment.” And that sounds exactly like what Pink me
    Up aims to achieve.
It’s also needless to mention the gorgeousness of the AdO bottles. Just stunning!
    Writing from the EU.

  • Oh, I’m dying to try the two new scents from Atelier des Ors. The idea of adding the “special ingredient” such as caviar or champagne created by NaturePrint® technology sound extremely interesting. Thanks Olya for introducing the story about the fragrance. I wasn’t thinking about PINK ME UP as a tribute to the 1920s but rather as a scent for a modern “girls that wanna have fun” – chic yet “shamefully fun” using Olya’s exact words. The story only gives more depth to the scent. I’d also would like to mention how much I love the pink bottle. With golden patters flakes, it looks super posh yet flirtatious. I live in Poland, EU.

  • Pink Me Up would make a great gift to my girlfriend. She loves pink and the name and the colour of the perfume would be right up her alley. She also enjoys roses so I feel that this creation from Atelier des Ors can become her signature scent. Thank you! Europe

  • Olya’s review was very interesting, and this was my main takeaway: “Spritz Atelier des Ors PINK ME UP and plunge into the bubbly pleasures of life as if it were a bathtub filled with champagne. ” Don’t mind if I do…

Something I took from the article with Jean-Phillipe Clermont is this:
“I developed Atelier Des Ors to bring my passion for art, refined craftsmanship and beauty together. My dream is to create perfumes that fuse together these elements to give the wearer something they will be proud to wear, will take pleasure in and find some inspiration at any given moment. When I first started Atelier Des Ors I didn’t really look too hard at what others were doing. I had a vision of what I wanted to create and I felt that there was a place for my dream.” As someone who dreams of starting their own fragrance brand I find this truly inspiring.

    Writing from Sweden, EU.

  • I have tried some perfumes from this house, and they’ve all been right up my alley, so looking forward to hopefully be able to try this out. And my god, how perfect this would be for New Year’s, or any day of great celebration, really. Great review Olya, you never cease to amaze with your descriptions and play with words.

The article about Jean-Phillipe Clermont was beautifully written as well and something I took from that is this:

“The quest for beauty and a refined aesthetic are key for Atelier Des Ors and we do not like to compromise.” I’ve definately noticed that they do not compromise at all with their craftsmanship and blending.

    I reside in Sweden/EU.

  • The DNA of this house is something truly unique, so I have high hopes for this one, especially since Rouge Saray absolutely blew me away. Hopefully I can win a bottle and try it out. What a fantastic review Olya, and your deep-dive into french history and culture was a lovely read, being the history nerd that I am.

A takeaway from the other article is probably this: “My dream is to create perfumes that fuse together these elements to give the wearer something they will be proud to wear, will take pleasure in and find some inspiration at any given moment.” I think that perfectly capsulates the brand of Atelier des Ors.

    I am from EU.

  • What I love in Olya’s review is how she was able to share with us, the playfulness of this fragrance. With the unbashful pinkness of her article, the let’s have fun attitude of it all. But only with the best tasteful spritz or bevarage made of roses and champagne. Thank you for the opportunity. From EU – France.

  • I loved how you set the stage by mentioning the Roaring Twenties before diving into the perfumes notes- it really made a lovely impression and I hope I get to try this.

From Jean-Phillipe Clermont’s interview: I found his memory of pears and Gataeu Petit Duc from his grandmothers home very evocative.

Thank you for the review, writing from the EU.

  • I enjoyed the description of the champagne note and how it aligns with the cultural vibe of “Les Années Folles” (plus The Great Gatsy is a favorite of mine, book and movies). My take on the Atelier des Ors brand is how thoroughly each fragrance is considered and designed. I love the brand’s trio of fragrances based on Klimt’s art. I enjoyed reading about M. Clermont’s childhood in Brittany and the effect it had on him. I live in the USA. Thanks for doing this!

  • I just love this brand so much and would be totally interested in winning this beauty! I am from the US. Thanks Olya for an amazing review.

  • Olya liked the aroma of orange flower petals and champagne in PINK ME UP. Also, I liked the mention of using champagne to christen ships. I enjoyed reading about Jean Phillipe’s life, travels, and his inspiration behind Atelier des Ors. “Gold was important to many cultures as a symbol of divinity and the ever lasting. Like gold, perfume (per fumum) was associated with the search for the divine, as priests in many ancient religions burnt incense to communicate with God.” The rose colored bottle and the notes of blackberry, champagne and, of course, the gold flakes look and sound beautiful. I am a fan. Thanks for the opportunity to sniff. Mich USA

  • Big fan of Atelier des Ors which I first learned about right here… Iris Fauve is my favorite, the musc immortelle. For Pink Me Up, I love the images and the idea that we need to have some fun. Also loved the Gatsby photo
    USA

  • I love the sound of a ridiculous, shamefully fun, and decadent scent. Olya speaking of the rose centifolia mixing with blackberry and iris put a sparkle in my eye for sure as those are three of my favorite notes. This fragrance just sounds fun and lighthearted. . Jen-Phillipe Clermont stated in the other article that one of the reasons he created Atelier Des Ors was to fulfill his dream of providing something people are “proud to wear, will take pleasure in and find some inspiration at any given moment.” And, that, my friends is what drives many of us who are so deeply in love with this art. To find that sweet spot where our personal pleasures intersect with our inspirations to create something greater. Love that idea. Reading from NC, USA.

  • This is the perfect scent to come out strong from lockdown! In addition to how amazing the scent sounds, the bottle is absolutely gorgeous too.
    From the USA

  • The bottle looks absolutely STUNNING. Who doesn’t want to smell like what this sounds?!? Don’t have any champagne fragrances but I would love to give this a try. Thank you for the opportunity. From CT, USA.

  • I love how Olya conveyed the uplifting feeling of wearing this perfume. I would love to win a bottle! Based on the interview from 2016, it sounds like the perfumer values artistry and quality and draws inspiration from many different parts of the world, which makes me even more excited to try it. I’m in MN, USA.

  • This seems like a fragrance for a New Year’s Eve celebration. The bright citrus, feminine florals, champagne! and musk/patchouli base are a perfect combination in a festive bottle and a gorgeous pink juice. Lovely review Olya. From John-Phillips Clermont’d article on Atelier des Ors: “ I developed Atelier Des Ors to bring my passion for art, refined craftsmanship and beauty together.:. MD, USA.

I enjoy Olya’s review on “Pick me up”, new release from new Atelier Des Ors

  • I love champagne, so Olya got me interested with “As any champagne lover can attest, a flute or two of this golden elixir and life suddenly seems much brighter, as if you suddenly put on a pair of pink sunglasses. Atelier des Ors PINK ME UP achieves precisely that feeling; after a hefty spritz, everything seems juicier and happier.”

Jean Phillipe Clermont picked up the best from his wordly experience and melted it into Atelier Des Ors to bring his passion for art, refined craftsmanship and beauty together. I like that he consideres every perfume a piece of art and I believe he achieved exactly that!

  • Love this brand! Love the bottles which I think could came up from the underground of Jean-Phillipe with his grandparents being druids and being linked with this wimsickle world.
This sounds soo good, never tried a fragrance that resembles with champagne but I know this would be amazing. Greetings from Italy

  • I have been a fan of Atelier des Ors for a while now; I have fallen head over heels for their beautiful luxury bottles, the gold sparkles inside, their designs, and everything. They are undoubtedly dreamy and beautiful collector pieces. I also love Marie Salamagne compositions, especially Lune Feline and Riviera Lazuli, to name a few, so it is about expected that I feel so intrigued about this perfume. And, of course, there is this lovely review by Olya that made me want it even more.
I genuinely love the composition of this beautiful fragrance, particularly the champagne note; in my opinion, this particular note made this fragrance the perfect holiday fragrance. I love how Olya described it in her review as a bubbly pleasure of life. I wish I could enjoy this fragrance during the festive season. Thank you for the excellent opportunity to participate in this giveaway, commenting from Orlando, Fl. USA.

A wonderful review by Olya, it was so lovely and uplifting to read it. I love how she puts our collective need and craving to open up, go out there and celebrate again. That could not be more true and Pink Me Up seems to be the perfect representation of the joyous moment of change for the better, nicer and more pleasant. I would love to try this combination of the brand’s signature Rose Centifolia, in combination with the, orange flower, iris, patchouli, blackberry and musk. It does sound like the perfect pick-me-up after what we’ve been through. Jean Philippe Clermont’s path filled with love for arts, crafts and flow of ideas is truly compelling, and I love how his passion for perfumery began while he was working with fine handmade cigars and searching for the perfect blend of materials that deliver an incredible odour. Thank you from the EU

  • Atelier Des Ors is just an amazing fragrance house. I am in love with them since I smelled Lune Felinem which is just amazing. I think that I would love this one because of the champagne note. A fun and decadent fragrance sounds just what I need in my life.
Thanks Olya for this amazing review

  • Ahh PINK ME UP! I could not be more excited about a new release. I am in the process of turning my life around for many reasons, and a perfume that is “a joyous bubble of delicious pleasure swirling in a crystal glass” and can make “everything seem juicier and happier”, sounds like it is just the kind of vibe that I am looking for right now.
About Jean-Phillipe Clermont, it was so interesting to read about his background story and the places he has lived in and how perceptive he is to his surroundings and in what way they have inspired him.
I really love his intention behind developing Atelier Des Ors; to bring his passion for art, refined craftsmanship and beauty together.

  • As a Pastry Chef with his own bakery, and Olya Bar take on Atelier des Ors PINK ME UP made me think of making one of our most popular wedding cake, White Champagne Cake , with Natural Butter Cream, real Rose Water and fresh Blackberries. Uplifting and hedonistic fragrance i’d love to win.

“There are some early memories of specific smells from this time that I can recall. My grandmother made pear jam from their harvest at their countryside house. The pear trees were organic and very old. The “Gateau Petit Duc”, home made caramel and “œufs au lait” deserts were always cooking and the smell filled her home each time I visited her for holidays.”

From the quote we had to post I’m certain Jean-Philippe Clermont is my kind of guy. For those not familiar with culinary terminology

“Gateau Petit Duc” is quite moist and delicate gluten-free cake (if it’s important to you) Calisson Cake , made with calisson paste ( for the most part made of almonds, sugar, candied cantaloupe and orange)

“œufs au lait” is version of Crème Brûlée.

Smelled 3 Atelier des Ors creations and Lune Feline is my favorite , even though Rose Omeyyade and Bois Sikar are pretty good too.
For every gourmand and vanilla lover – try Lune Feline, it’s part of my collection. One of the best vanilla fragrances ever . I know vanilla well , being traditionally trained in Paris Pastry Chef. Reminds me of Cinnamon and Cardamom Rolls, and it’s also quite smoky.
Rose Omeyyade reminds me Pistachio & Rose water Semolina Cake with real rose water , and raspberries on top of it.
Appreciate the review, and the giveaway campaign

  • The name alone has me excited. Like Olya says the industry was looking for this. Exciting and vibrant. Champagne and bergamont has me thinking that smelling this will perk me up every time a get a sniff. Then on top of that blackberry and rose?

Clermont’s article mentioned how he’s had jobs like working with cigars and traveled through Paris and he developed Atelier Des Ors to bring his passion for art, refined craftsmanship and beauty together. And it shows with the fragrances for the house.

  • “Life without little frivolities wouldn’t be as pleasurable, wouldn’t you agree? Hence the collection’s name—a salute to effusive emotions and Art de Vivre.”
    I do agree
“The sense of playfulness and fun in PINK ME UP is also a nod to the spirit and hedonism of Les Années Folles, or “crazy years,” in France during the 1920s.”
Come on Olya, I’m sold on 100% ! I need to try PINK ME UP as soon as possible , free spirited fragrance , with champagne, rose and iris.
The scent is almost made for the times I’m in need to reduce the levels of stress in my body.
I read the Jean-Philippe Clermont article, and my takeaway , with a quote is:
“I also lived in Singapore and Beirut where I really fell in love with the culture in the Middle East, the literature, music, poetry, food and the lifestyle.”
Such an amazing experience, and path he had , enjoying all aspects of life.
Since I’ve sampled more than half of Atelier des Ors fragrances , i have to say Iris Fauve, Rose Omeyyade , Lune Feline and Rouge Saray stood up to me the most.
Iris Fauve is what I decided to buy
    Thanks for the draw

  • What a fun fragrance!!!! It’s light, fun , girly! Love the review and it got me very interested and wanting one for myself!!!! Living the good life! I’m from Massachusetts, US.

  • Thanks for including a bit of history about champagne in this review, Olya. I didn’t realize it started as a still wine and dates back to at least the Roman Empire. I like the idea of PINK ME UP—we could all certainly use some cheer and whimsy after the last few years. Also, after reading in Jean-Phillipe Clermont’s profile about his earliest memories of pear jam, caramel, and deserts in his grandma’s home, he seems well suited to capturing gourmand scents. Speaking of, I’m curious how realistic the champagne heart note is, and I’d also like to smell PINK ME UP for the rose centifolia you described. Thanks for the fun review!

    I’m in the midwest, USA.

  • Blackberry is a note I’ve discovered since moving to the Pacific NW and the fancy setting Atelier Des Ors puts blackberry into here sounds like a real jewel. My takeaway from Jean-Phillipe is that gold’s significance as a divine material ties it to my beloved scented elixir luxuries.

  • Hello Olya, my online party , and liquor lover soulmate 🙂
You don’t have to convince me about PINK ME UP , fresh blackberries, chilled Rosé , frivolity and dancing in a fountain ! I almost visualized how I’m booking a hotel, flights, and packing up the bags to some tropical destination.
The Summer is long gone, , and I’d love to experience such a trip, and playful fragrance, why not with Sangria of Champagne and Red Fruits in my hand? If you’re into liquor like me , and Olya , the way I make it:
    – Champagne ,preferably with Moët & Chandon Impérial Rosé
    – Fresh blackberries, frozen will do too
    – Cinnamon stick
    – To your taste freshly squeezed juice
    – Brown sugar
    – Mint leaves
From the previous interview , I was also impressed by how Jean-Philippe Clermont is a dreamer , and a visionare at the same time:
“I developed Atelier Des Ors to bring my passion for art, refined craftsmanship and beauty together. My dream is to create perfumes that fuse together these elements to give the wearer something they will be proud to wear, will take pleasure in and find some inspiration at any given moment.”
The best Atelier des Ors i think is Bois Sikar
    Thanks you for the opportunity

  • Fabulous review! I’m excited to try Pink Me Up; it sounds like the perfect fragrance for a new year ~Indiana

  • This is gorgeous!!! I’d love to visit their family rose field. This article made me think of my Grandma’s stories when they would hide their still from the “revenuers” back when she was a child. That gold and pink…wow. Yes, I’d love my entry to count twice. Thanks for this chance to win this sparkling fragrance. USA.

Fantastic review Olya! What I enjoyed about Olya’s review is learning that the idea to create PINK ME UP was in response to the past few years of COVD uncertainty and cooped up cabin fever in much the way that the zesty champagne at the center of the perfume is reminiscent of the “crazy years,” in France during the 1920s after the pandemic of the Spanish Flu. I think that is a great inspiration for a fragrance both timely and yet historic at the same time.

My takeaway about the brand from Jean-Phillipe Clermont’s article is the sense of tradition and heritage that he infuses into the brand from his love of his ancestral home and tales to his deep interest in the intersection of creativity and commerce. I really admire that about the creator. I live in the US.

  • What else to ask? Rose champagne cocktail with fruit and florals! I love tha color, i love this house! I also love this specific rose note and i find ineresting the whole description of getting it. Thanks for the opportunity to win it!

  • My body is not so young anymore, but my soul still is, and PINK ME is right up my alley.
I have no experience with, but I know Rose Omeyyade , Lune Feline and Rouge Saray , and even the slight comparison between Rose Omeyyade and PINK ME excites me .
I’m always ready for a party , spicy , deep and rich honeyed fragrances
I do want my comment to count twice, so

“moved to the French West Indies and it was quite a shock for me, however I think it was also good too, as I realised I could be a global citizen in the world. I graduated from an International Business school and travelled for some time to explore the world. I was drawn to Asia and the Middle East. I also lived in Singapore and Beirut where I really fell in love with the culture in the Middle East, the literature, music, poetry, food and the lifestyle.”
Living abroad for a long time always changes your perspective, you can view the world from a few different angles.
Rose Omeyyade is my favorite Atelier des Ors fragrance , bought it because of Despina Veneti review, I hope she comes back at some point
    Overly exciting giveaway, USA

  • To me Atelier Des Ors equals class , beauty and creativity , and my best takeaway from Jean-Phillipe Clermont’s article proves that
“I developed Atelier Des Ors to bring my passion for art, refined craftsmanship and beauty together. My dream is to create perfumes that fuse together these elements to give the wearer something they will be proud to wear, will take pleasure in and find some inspiration at any given moment.”
Atelier des Ors to me also equals Lune Feline . If i have to describe it with one word it will be phenomenal, gourmand notes are present, but still restrained, spices , tea , nice vanilla .
Unlike Lune Feline, PINK ME champagne, rose and iris mixture is more party like, but like Olya implied with well dressed guys from Still from The Great Gatsby picture , it doesn’t smell childish. I can wear it from holidays on the French Riviera, to working with clients at the shop, to weddings.
Thanks Olya, and Atelier Der Ors .

    Greetings everyone
Craftsmanship, such for perfection, no compromises , i admire people like Jean-Philippe Clermont . As a jeweler I can’t help but to be impressed by his actions, and words:
The quest for beauty and a refined aesthetic are key for Atelier Des Ors and we do not like to compromise. The gold that we incorporate in our bottles symbolises the pursuit of perfection and the search for the absolute in ancient times. Gold was important to many cultures as a symbol of divinity and the ever lasting. Like gold, perfume (per fumum) was associated with the search for the divine, as priests in many ancient religions burnt incense to communicate with God.

PINK ME UP is so French, Le bonheur de vivre type of fragrance. Everyone needs to loosen up from time to time , champagne and jazz are very much valued.
    Big fan of Rose Omeyyade
    Thank you

I loved Olya’s review of Atelier Des Ors PINK ME UP. Marie Salamagne the extremely talented in house perfumer blended this wonderful champagne and floral masterpiece featuring Rose which Olya has described it perfect detail.

My takeaway about the brand from Jean-Phillipe Clermont’s article is that he is very talented creative director for Atelier Des Ors. Born and Raised in France to a family that was very artistic and creative in his young adult years he spent time in Dubai and Lebanon to further his experience in different cultures that led to him creating the brand Atelier Des Ors. I am from the USA.
