“Topaz is really special to me because it grew out of a simple moment of friendship that turned into something lasting and meaningful. Working with Vincent Ricord on this creation was amazing — he has a way of turning emotions into scent, and together we wanted to bottle the warmth, loyalty, and light that true friendship brings.’ –Moe Khalaf, Creative Director and Founder (to MIchelyn via text)

KAJAL’s creative lab is a treasure trove, giving us one dazzling jewel after another, and I’m here for every single drop. From succulent fruits to florals bursting in full glory, each release is a sensory feast that leaves me craving more. KAJAL Topaz hits you with a vibrant splash of candied orange blossom soaked in rum, spiked with a zesty lime twist that’s pure sunshine. Then, the heart blooms open with lush rose and jammy cassis, rich and intoxicating. Worried it’s too much decadence? Hold on for the base. It’s a blend of salty ambergris, plush ambroxan that wraps you in a big scent cloud, and a grounding cedarwood whisper. Yet, it’s all so perfectly balanced, never tipping into overwhelming. There is also a little treat hidden within the composition, a sugary lemon accord that sparkles like a childhood candy, tugging at nostalgic heartstrings.

This IS KAJAL’S DNA distilled. It’s a vibrant and mood-lifting powerhouse that I’ll be drenching myself in for months, a warm shield against the chilly days ahead, whispering promises of summer’s return.

  • Steven provided an efficient, layered review of the fragrance, he really triggered my curiosity. I respect his opinion & the bottle is stunning. The introduction touched me the most. The fact that this art grew out of friendship is very touching. I want to smell what bottled warmth, loyalty and light smells like! Sounds amazing lol! The article bookended the manifestation of true friendship by describing the crescendo of scents that create this (hopefully lol) amber masterpiece. Would love to experience this, Kudos guys!

  • I enjoyed Steven’s YouTube review for his passionate breakdown of the notes and how he highlighted its uplifting vibe. Moe Khalaf’s introduction was heartfelt, capturing the essence of friendship turned into scent. Olya’s written review vividly described the sunny, balanced decadence that makes Topaz so appealing. I live in Poland, EU

  • Topaz is special for Moe Khalaf because he crafted the scent with Vincent Richord whose work he admires, and their partnership and friendship is reflected in the creation of Topaz.

For Olya, Topaz is another gem from the house: a vibrant splash of candied lemon-orange blossom soaked in rum, spiked with a zesty lime twist; a lush rose and jammy cassis, rich and intoxicating. It is a scent that is decadent yet perfectly balanced and grounded. It is vibrant, mood-lifting and perfect for cooler months.

Steve’s assessment is similar. Topaz is a high quality, long lasting, juicy, fruity fragrance with candied lemon, a smooth rum, a bright and luminous ambroxan note in the dry down giving it a sweetness that is retained from the opening to the dry down. Topaz is another fragrance he believes is deserving of hype because of its quality, performance and raw materials. It is a beautiful, playful scent that can be worn for all occasions.

  • The intro alerted to me why Topaz is special to Moe, Olya told me this is perfectly balanced and the video exlplained more about the listed notes. US

  • After reading and watching the reviews I expect this scent to hit me with a vibrant splash of candied lemon soaked in rum, spiked with a zesty lime and jammy cassis. A tropical juicy and sweet fragrance. I am in EU.

  • Looking at the notes, I’d also would have thought this would go on the tropical direction. Now, to put out another fruity scent after Kolada it’s a choice but I’m glad is kind of more of a mix between sweet and that candied lemon note. To me, judging the bottle itself I’d gone on an amber direction but Moe mentioned it’s inspired by a true friendship and yes, friendships have a sunny/luminous hue to them. Olya also mentioned “it’s a warm shield against the chilly days ahead” and I really can see that. It’s truly a cornucopia of different styles all bottled into Topaz. I really need to start digging into Kajal more, they’re pumping scents out at meteoric rates but each with the utmost quality and unique stories. I follow @cafleurebonofficial on IG and my handle is Ramses.d.perez. I’m located in the USA.

  • Steven has described this scent as competently as ever, highlighting the evolution of notes and the performance. Moe’s introduction was truly touching, emphasizing the importance of true friendship, even when captured in a perfume, while Olya’s description was absolutely decadent! The boozy fruity and floral aspects and the sugary lemon reminiscent of childhood sound fantastic!

  • I absolutely loved the Kajal Topaz 2025 review! Steven’s YouTube video was so engaging—his excitement was contagious, and the way he described the scent made me feel like I was smelling it right alongside him. Olya’s written review was beautifully expressive, like reading a love letter to Topaz. Her words painted such a vivid picture of the fragrance’s elegance and glow. And Moe Khalaf’s introduction? So heartfelt and inspiring! It gave real depth to the story behind the scent.

Together, they made Topaz feel like more than just a perfume—it’s a gem with a soul. I’m genuinely moved… and really hoping to win the giveaway so I can experience it myself! Cheers from NY, USA

Ok Steven had me at Candied lemon…and the thought of a Mango vibe and the color of the bottle screams fall, and Olays description of the notes, I absolutely would love to have this beautiful one in my collection.. I live in Orlando Florida, USA

  • Steven is the most comprehensive and entertaining perfume reviewer on YouTube. You know you have something very special when he speaks highly of a scent. You can tell by his sincere demeanor that he speaks from his heart and is full of candor. Would love to try this new delicious sounding scent. United Kingdom.

  • Kajal Perfumes development is absolutely remarkable and their future is bright with Moe Khalaf being the captain of the ship. I know all of Kajal fragrances excluding Topaz , and one other Kajal project just recently revealed to the public at Pitti Fragranze in Florence called “The Whispering Oud” . If I have to rate my favorite Kajal fragrances depending on my mood
    1.Lamar/ ÄICAN
    2. Almaz / Dahab
    3. Kajal IV / Ruby / Kolada
Vincent Ricord is awesome, I know a few of the fragrances he composed, no wonder Moe is so found of him.
Topaz in my opinion was one the most anticipated fragrance in the community ever since Kajal started teasing us on Instagram. As usual because of all fragrances that came before people’s expectations for Topaz are through the roof . I’m sure Kajal delivered since Olya and Steven are so excited even though their opinions are not exactly the same. Zesty candied lime is there, soaked in rum according to Olya , not as much according to Steven. I’m very much interested if I’ll be able to get rose and cassis like Olya since Steven is not picking up the two.
Imo Moe and Vincent Rixord were able to find a way to Ideally match the juicy and slightly candied fruits , the rum , cassis and the typical for Kajal sense of refinery.
All profiles I already follow, @waltherp99bg . I also follow @eaudemoe , Moe Khalaf side project , and Omar Ayoub
    Thanks a lot

  • Love the bottle. Excellent craftsmanship for a beautiful scent! I think it’s slight different from the original. citruses with rum then jammy rose and ambroxan! I am a fan of Moe’s creations! I am also a fan of sugary citrus scents!

  • Captivating introduction by Moe Khalaf and enthusiastic reviews by Olya Bar and Redolessence , job well done .I can’t help but to be impressed how Moe Khalaf was able to achieve so much , and also how he gave the hard task of making Topaz to Vincent Ricord. There is a reason why I saw (on Instagram) that at the latest fragrance exhibition in Italy people were gathering non-stop at Kajal Perfumes booth to try the new gem.
“KAJAL Topaz hits you with a vibrant splash of candied orange blossom soaked in rum, spiked with a zesty lime twist that’s pure sunshine”
Beautiful , I find Topaz delightful for the explosive start, candied citruses and ambroxan on one part , and the rum and cassis on the other.
Other than wanting to win Topaz , I’d also love to visit Kajal headquarters one day it will be so much fun
EU , thank you very much

  • I loved that Steven mentioned that Topaz gave him a bit of a mango feel. I love mango, so hearing that made me even more curious. He also spoke about the overall quality of the fragrance, and I appreciate when a reviewer highlights that aspect so it makes me feel like this isn’t just another synthetic fruity mess but something more refined.
Moe’s introduction was very heartfelt. I liked how he described Topaz as something that grew out of friendship and how he wanted it to capture warmth and loyalty. That background gives the perfume more meaning.
Olya’s review tied it all together for me. Her description of the citrus and rum opening, the rose and cassis in the heart, and then the softer, grounding base made me imagine how balanced the fragrance must feel. Between the three perspectives, Topaz comes across as bright, fun, and uplifting, but still carefully crafted.

  • I love how the things worked out for Moe Khalaf , the knowledgeable and humble guy who founded Kajal. Through a lot of hard work and dedication he was able to expand and develop to such a level , that now fragrance enthusiasts are trembling when there’s a new release.

“This IS KAJAL’S DNA distilled. It’s a vibrant and mood-lifting powerhouse that I’ll be drenching myself in for months, a warm shield against the chilly days ahead, whispering promises of summer’s return” – Olya Bar
Big time YES to upscale niche perfumery, Kajal, daring approaches and aesthetics , and people mindsets like Moe Khalaf , Olya Bar and Redolessence. In Topaz I like the sweet fruits , longevity , the boozy nuances and the dance between the European appeal and Middle Eastern mystical essence . Everything in Topaz i find rich and inviting ,even the beautiful bottle.
Kajal is one of my favorite brands, intricate fragrances with unique DNA , always long lasting and with one of a kind bottles. Lamar I own, my favorite that’s why I was patiently anticipating Topaz review on Cafleurebon.
    Thanks a bunch

  • Steven has become my “go-to” YouTube influencer regarding fragrance. He piqued my interest almost immediately with is his discussion that this is more of a “fruity” candied lemon fragrance with a hint of rum without the spiciness typical of many fruit-rum based fragrances. Yet, Olya’s review leans heavier to a “candied orange-blossom soaked in rum”. And both Steven and Olya state that the base is a long-lasting ambergris-ambroxan with light woody notes. Wow! Mr. Khalaf brings this fragrance to life in his description of bringing the warmth and light of friendship together into a lovely, lasting fragrance. This sounds fantastic. I confess that I do not have an Kajal fragrances, but this sounds like a real possibility for me. Thanks so much for the reviews! DrD7 in Reno, Nevada.

  • I liked both Steven and Olya reviews on this perfume, with the most interesting thing being that Steven was lead to a mango vibe scent initially, so this sounds good to me. Also the presentation, colour and bottle looks just great. I would love to try this one, i’m from EU.

It seems like Redolessence and Olya Bar do have a lot of past memories with Kajal Perfumes, I do know the brand too , Vincent Ricord i just found out about thanks to the intro by Moe Khalaf . Other than a successful business owner he’s is a nice guy , showing respect to the perfumer Vincent Ricord, interesting detail.
Topaz instantly triggered Redolessence and Olya Bar good times tropical memories on some sun-drenched terrace with juicy fruits, some rum and velvety warmth . Candied lime and cassis are favorites of mine, let alone how both contributors implied Topaz possesses a carefree demeanor , exquisite pleasure I’d love to win.
Kajal Perfumes strongly associate with the first Lamar , one of my best fragrances in my collection
Thank you very much Kajal Perfumes , and special thanks to Redolessence and Olya Bar for the hard work
