Navitus Parfums Peach Aurum by Olya Bar
When it comes to peach fragrances, I’ll admit—I’ve smelled my fair share, but only a handful have truly sparked my curiosity enough to write about. I wasn’t looking for another jammy, caramel-drenched peach teetering on the edge of a sugar overload. Nor did I want an artificial, plasticky peach that dries down into a shampoo-like blur. What I craved was something more—a sophisticated, non-literal take on the idea of peach cobbler. A mood rather than a predictable, one-note replica. An olfactory experience that unfolds beyond expectations.

And that’s exactly what Bertrand Duchaufour and Vincent Ricord, with creative direction from Sharida, have delivered with Navitus Parfums Peach Aurum—a fragrance that feels like a moment suspended in time.
From the entire Navitus collection, Peach Aurum stands out as one of my favorites. Why? Because it’s comforting, alluring, and enveloping—a scent that pulls you into its world and makes you want to stay. The peach accord is present but never overpowering, playing in harmony with the other elements rather than demanding center stage. This isn’t a fruity sugar bomb; it’s a grown-up gourmand—thoughtfully composed, indulgent, yet refined.

I’ve grown weary of the synthetic, candy-coated perfumes that have dominated shelves in recent years—an easy win for younger consumers still exploring their olfactory preferences. Let’s be honest: one day, they’ll move beyond the marshmallow-sweet trend and discover the depth, nuance, and artistry that fragrance has to offer. And when they do, compositions like Peach Aurum will be waiting. Yes, there’s sweetness here—but it’s not the kind that drowns out the rest. It’s a supporting note, not the star. It blends seamlessly, enhancing rather than overpowering, creating an experience that’s rich, textured, and deeply satisfying.

If I were to paint a scene for Peach Aurum, it would be this: You’re in your favorite neighborhood café, where every detail is warm, familiar, and comforting. The waiter doesn’t need to ask what you want—they know. A flaky peach puff pastry appears before you, served alongside a glass of amaretto, its creamy depth swirling with every sip. A whisper of cinnamon in the pastry dough is just enough to tingle the senses without taking over. The air is warm, the moment unrushed—just pure comfort, wrapped in scent.
Navitus Peach Aurum Extrait de Parfum is nostalgia, indulgence, and the simple pleasure of feeling at home in a scent.
Notes: Amaretto, Peach, Turkish Rose; Puff Pastry, Condensed Milk, Cinnamon; Oak Leaves, Musk, and Sugar.
