If you are a fan of Video Journalist Steven Gavrielatos’ YouTube channel, Redolessence then you are no stranger to Navitus Parfums, a niche brand that works with renowned perfumers to create fragrances without limitations. The name which means “Energy and Passion in Latin, also has  the guidance of creative directors who are perfume lovers. With over 30 fragrances in their catalog, I asked Steven Gavrielatos, who is also the founding (since November 2019 and Creative director for 13 Navitus Parfums )to choose “the three you should be wearing this Winter Valentine’s Day and for date night”.  An impossible task so there is two honorable mentions-Michelyn Camen, Editor-in Chief

Best Navitus Parfums

Nativus Parfums Empyreal (Master Perfumer Francis Kurdjian and Jerome di Marino) is a sweet combination of chocolate in the form of a cocoa scones accord combined with plum and Brazilian orange. A suede leather accord creates an element of darkness while also securing the longevity of the addictive, original blend. (Jerome di Marino is a Best of 2020 CaFleureBon Rising Star)-Creative Director Steven Gavrielatos @redolessence

Navitus Parfums Serenade (Perfumer Jorge Lee) scented song opens with orange blossom, dark chocolate and cognac. The heart includes a honey accord and beeswax absolute touched with vetiver and tonka adding their voices. Cedar wood, patchouli and deep musk at the base plays music that lasts well into the night. Creative Director: Darian Hill @the_bowtie_fragrance-guy

Navitus Parfums Intimus (Perfumer Chris Maurice): Derived from the Latin word for intimate, Intimus is the ultimate date night perfume. Toasted sugars sprinkled over a deep vanilla complements oakmoss and patchouli that is both grounding and  leans slightly masculine. But ladies… you will want to wear this as well. -Creative Director Steven Gavrielatos @redolessence

Runners up:

Navitus Parfums Soir Exclusif (Perfumer Bertrand Duchaufour): an exquisite blend of blood oranges, licorice, marshmallow, and coffee with woody and creamy notes-Creative Director Buck Moore @bigbearbusiness

The Embrace Navitus

Navitus Parfums The Embrace (Perfumer Sidonie Lancesseur): Gender fluid, The Embrace opens with bitter orange hidden behind Indian Sesame Absolute, a very rarely used natural ingredient in perfumery-Creative Director Monica Cioch @monika_cioch

  • I have been watching every single review Steven has done for Navitus. This fragrance house is amazing! I have a discovery set and have fallen in love with Arcanum. I have been dying to try The Embrace and was thrilled to see it was part of the 5 he recommends for Winter. Quite honestly, all 5 sound gorgeous. Empyreal with its cocoa notes sounds so yummy! But if I had to choose just one, it would definitely be The Embrace. I want so much to own a fragrance that has that sesame note in it. It sounds so interesting!

Would love to add Navitus Parfums Serenade to my collection! Really appreciated how Steven describes the richness with the cognac and the chocolate in this fragrance. I would be so curious to smell how the orange blossom in Serenade brightens it up. Instagram handle: @madisonnblanch

  • Steven!!! ❤️❤️ YAY!!! We are so happy for you & your success with these scents! ❤️ These sultry and decedent fragrances sound perfect for Valentine’s Day (or any romantic snuggle with one’s Honey). I like how my husband & I can both wear & enjoy these scents. Each one has an interesting note or combination that makes selecting a favorite very difficult. If I were a lucky winner, I would pick Navitus Parfums Serenade. ❤️ Thank you for this wonderful opportunity! Now, the hubby & I will dash off to check out the samples!

  • I have been loving Stephen’s videos for a long time. I would love to try Serenade. The heart of beeswax is very interesting to me. In maryland.

  • I would love to win Navitus Parfums Serenade. Steven’s reviews are always so technical which is very much appreciated. Today’s review, once again gets me hyped on which frags to grab next. Always honest and informative. I currently own Exalt Nuit and we’ve even did a review of our own on it back in early 2021. Keep up the good work!!

  • Jacqueline Vacha says:

I would love to win the scent Serenade. I absolutely love any scent with patchouli. However, all of the notes sound right up my alley. I do not own any niche fragrances so this will be my first if I win! I hope I do! Thanks for the opportunity.

  • Thanks for the introduction Michelyn!

I saw Steven’s video show up on my Youtube feed and immediately had a look. His recommendations are always fragrances that end up on my wishlists. I have yet to be disappointed!

I have tried Lautus and Absolutio, but do not own a full bottle yet. I would love to win a bottle of Empyreal and smell heavenly too!

    Hi Steven,
Your videos, descriptions of fragrances are always spot on. Most of my fragrances have been chosen based off your channel. I’m torn between wanting to try Intimus and thinking that I will really love Impyreal. I love sexy, dark, sensual, musky, leather & woodsy scents and sometimes I’ll opt of unisex to get closer the masculine scents that I love. I’m in the corporate world & I love to go out so I switch things up. If I win I would like to ask if you could choose one that is dark, sexy, musky…. You’ve never failed me, I trust you 100% …. I will be ordering the discovery set soon. BTW-Nice Website

  • Connor young says:

Empyreal. Loved the review… description of notes made me want to smell these fragrances right away!

  • I love how Steven’s describes many fragrances as cozy & intimate which is the vibe I want on Valentines or any date night with my husband. I’m most interested in trying Empyreal.

  • Steve made them all sound yummy to this gourmand lover, but I guess I would have to go with Soir Exclusif since it has a marshmallow note. I am in New York.

I belong to a country where niche fragrances is like a blue moon, very hard to see. I recently entered the world of niche fragrances and I just can’t step out of it now..it’s like I’m drowning in the art of perfume making.

I have to admit and Steven’s channel has been a home to me since my journey and the sound of serenade makes me imagine a world of love.

I would love be lucky to apply it on my skin 🙂

  • Navitus fragrances are great, although I have tried just several of them for now. I was very happy to hear Steven mention two new discovery sets with 30 fragrances to sample in total. It was tough choosing best of the 5 Steven mentioned here, all of them sound so interesting, warm, fish and alluring. I appreciate Steven’s descriptions which are as always on point, with great descriptions of main notes to help me understand the fragrance. I would like to win Navitus Parfums Empyreal – I love the cocoa in combination with orange and plum. I’m from Illinois, US.

  • I would love to add Navitus Parfums Serenade to my small but growing collection. I think Steven’s review of Serenade was brilliant. He described the notes so well that he made me want to smell it right there. He is unlike other reviewers. He describes things so the average non-fragrance community person can understand it. Keep up the good work.

  • I always enjoy Steven’s reviews and this time he was precise and to the point but still informative. I’ve been waiting Serenade, chocolate and liquor, can’t go wrong with that combination and perfect for VDay. Instagram: poppo_demarco3

  • Solid overview. I had an opportunity to sample both Empyreal and Soir Exclusif – which remind me strongly of Dior’s Feve Delicieuse and PdM’s Pegasus respectively – but since then, I’ve been hankering over The Embrace. Steven’s description of the opening is bang on with other reviewers, who also praise it for that uber gourmand quality. Plus, yeah, Sidonie knows how to make ’em sweet. Definitely my pick of the lot to win. Quite curious to see how the sesame is blended too, but I would imagine it would be a great layering fragrance. Props to Monika for her artistic direction. Canada, @donilight

  • I really love this fragrance house. There are so many beautiful scents. I just ordered more with the sale. If I was to win the drawing, I guess I’d have to pick Soir Exclusif or The Embrace. I actually have Serenade & Empyreal on the way!

    Thank you for the opportunity.

  • I always appreciate Steven’s enthusiasm for fragrances but especially for the Navitus offerings since he is the creative director. I liked how he highlighted the special notes of each of the five fragrances and gave props to the creative directors and also the perfumers. If I win, I would love to try Serenade. Your videos, descriptions of fragrances are always spot on. A lot of my fragrances have been chosen based off your channel. I’m torn between wanting Intimus or Empyreal. I like the leather & woodsy scents. I’m also a fan of Francis Kurdjian and Chris Maurice.

  • Steven always knocks his reviews out of the park. His professionalism and consistency are second to none. It impresses me how much content he puts out and how it is always quality, informative, and enjoyable. I’ve had the pleasure of sampling a number of Navitus Parfums fragrances but unfortunately none of the five covered here. If chosen, my choice would be Navitus Parfums Empyreal, as it sounds absolutely delectable. Thanks, as always, for the opportunity and cheers from Illinois!

Always been interested in the brand Navitus as I throughly enjoy Steven’s channel. The fragrance I’m most grasped by is Intimus, I love fresh and sweet fragrances. Thanks for the opportunity!

  • Long time viewer of Steven, I had no idea that BBB and Monica were working on these! Very informative article! Hard to decide which one of these I would like the most! I’ve never had the chance to try any of the Navitus line. I’d love the chance to! I think my choice out of these would be Intimus as it seems like the most date appropriate of the bunch and I’m looking for just that!
    Following you (@moshe.b.c)
And I do have a US address but I use a VPN

  • I thought the reviews were exciting, the man really likes these offerings. I would like to try several of these after the read and vid. For the draw I would pick the Intimus. US

  • Another excellent review by Steven. He makes all the fragrances sound great. Navitus Parfums Empyreal is my choice should I win. I live in the USA.

  • The more I learn about Navitus, the more impressed I become. I think I’m ready to buy a bottle or two. The combination of notes for each bottle is perfection!

  • I would really like to win Empyreal since the description of the scent is right up my alley. I respect Steven and his fragrance reviews not to mention he’s a kind and generous guy.

  • Steve always gives some of the best reviews and always gives good information on the parfums I don’t personally own any of the fragrance that he helped create but would like to (Empyreal) would be first choice of the 5 I would want first and am hoping I get picked thanks again Steve for your great reviews

  • I love Stevens choose of his fragrances. I really like Empyrial, I have a decant and it is amazing. I hope Steven continues to create great fragrances with the big perfumers he has worked with. I am a follower of his youtube work and he always delivers super detailed reviews and he has helped me to choose many fragrances.
I would like to win Soir Exclusif.

  • I am a Redolessence subscriber and have enjoyed Stephen’s video reviews for a long time, as they provide a clear description with personal notes from him. I would love to try The Embrace, as I am curious about the sesame note. From USA.

  • Empyreal is the one I’m interested in, Steven’s thoughts got me caught and just for the perfumers you know it’s a winner.

  • Lacy Lascelle says:

Based on Steven’s review I would like to win Navitus Parfums Intimus. All the fragrances sounded delicious but the lily of the valley and toasted sugar scent sold me. I have yet to buy any of these fragrances but im trying to find my signature smell so I wanna try so many new fragrances and this is on the top of my list. I also followed cafleurebonofficial on instagram, my username is lacy_1071.

  • redwheelbarrow says:

Wow these all sound amazing how would I choose one? I think I need to sample all of these! I was initially drawn to the cocoa and leather of Empyreal but I think if I won, I would choose The Embrace because I’ve never experienced a sesame note in a fragrance. Thanks for the review, from the US.

  • Steven makes all of the Navitus Parfums offerings sound wonderful, I’ve never tried anything from them before but I would love to, From the top three selections, I think I would choose Serenade. Dark chocolate, cognac and orange blossom on a patchouli base sounds like heaven to me. I also follow on IG @blinkydog1999. I’m in MD, USA.

  • My favorite Navitus Parfums fragrance is Navus , my husband is into Absolutio , and Vivamor . Our family brand in a way. I’m going to try the new ones too
Serenade instantly grabbed me, I love luxury cognac, and I also love chocolate It feels like the idea behind Serenade was mine alone
Steven not only told us all about Serenade, but gave me an idea, I’m about to sip a bit, and eat some chocolate.
Cheers with Rémy Martin XO, aged cognac

  • Haven’t got the chance to try any Navitus Parfums. Empyreal and Intimus are the 2 I’m leaning towards. It’ll be tough to choose between them. Enjoyed the review. Thanks

  • Claude Flowers says:

The scent I would like to add to my collection would be Serenade. All of the notes in the breakdown sound right up my alley. It sounds like a gourmand lovers dream and something definitely signature scent worthy! I love allll the others mentioned as well, I may even have s few lol! My IG handle is c_music_1.

I have been subscribed to Steven’s channel for over 2 years now and my favorite part of his reviews and videos is always his passion and enthusiasm when describing the fragrances he’s speaking about. I’m in beautiful Montreal, Canada. I’m already subscribed to Cafleurebon’s Instagram account as well. My name there is the same as on all social media, jarridsteel. Should I win, the fragrance I would like the most is Navitus Parfums Intimus. Thank you all for the opportunity.

  • Sarai Rosales says:

I would the Navitus Intimus, because I liked how Steven described the fragrance and would like to try it out. Hopefully get to experience the essence of the ingredients. My instagram is s_rosie_12. Thank you.

  • I have been wanting to try Navitus Parfums! All 5 creations sound so wonderful. Steven really has a great mind for fragrance and I trust his nose. Winter scents are my favorite genre of scents and each of these sounds perfect but I would really love to win The Embrace. The combination of honey and sesame sounds so intriguing and beautiful. Thank you so much Steven and everyone at Cafleurebon for the chance to win! I’m following on Instagram @cashley7

  • I am a fan of Steven and his channel Redolessence. I’ve been wanting to collect Navitus for a while. I’d love to win The Embrace to start my collection. I’m in NJ

  • Cool to see the ombre red line up of all the fragrances together. If I were to win, I would most prefer to get The Embrace. I love finding new interesting gourmands. USA

  • Excellent, I’ve been following Steven for some time now! Sadly I have yet to have a chance to try any from Navitus. These all sound like they would make great Valentines fragrances! As usual, Steven does a bang up job helping me imagine the fragrance. I would love to win Soir Exclusif! Thank you again, from Canada.

  • It was not an easy task to pick one of the 5 fragrances Steven presented to us. After some hesitation I think Serenade will work well for me, is sweet, boozy with vetiver and toka – classy semi-gourmands i love. I’m happy to have Absolutio , and Vivamor compliments galore every time i’m wearing both.
    Exciting giveaway , USA
    Regards

  • To me Navitus equals Vivamor Versatile, pleasing all year round fragrance I wear on regular basis. I’ll be happy to win Serenade because of the grown up, successful person type of vibe
Thank you Steven , Cafleurebon and Navitus Parfums

  • Steven is one of my most watched reviewers on Youtube. I strongly value his thorough reviews of fragrances.
Navitus Oud Luxuria holds a special place in both me and my wife’s heart. It is the first niche fragrance we purchased and shared on a date together. It is our ultimate Valentine’s day fragrance. With that being said, we both enjoy Steven’s latest gourmand fragrance, Empyreal. This is so darn alluring and truly unisex…with the use we get from our current bottle, it won’t be long before we run out. With that being said, if chosen for this giveaway, I chose Navitus Empyreal. I live in the USA.

  • Michael Prince says:

I have been closely following Steven’s Brand Navitus Parfums since it’s inception in 2019 and I have heard so many great things about all of his releases. I own Absolutio, which I love. I am also a huge fan of gourmands so I was very excited to see what Steven’s recommendations were. I personally would love them all, but if I win I would pick Navitus Parfums Soir Exclusif. I am following  @cafleurebonoffical my Insta name is @michaelprincefragrance I am from Ohio, USA.

  • There are still numerous Navitus fragrances I would love to test and the ones mentioned in Steven’s review all sound great. Empyreal sounds particularly delicious with the combination of orange and chocolate; it makes me wonder if it smells at all similar to Xerjoff Symphonium. It was interesting to hear Steven say it dries down to have a tonka-bean quality. Serenade does sound very sensual with notes of orange blossom, dark chocolate, and cognac. All three of those notes are favorites of mine. Intumus sounds quite nice and I bet it’s a great masculine-leaning vanilla. I have actually tested both runner-ups: Soir Exclusif and The Embrace. Soir Exclusif was a beautiful woody gourmand on my skin, while The Embrace is a strong gourmand sesame.

I really appreciate that Steven mentioned the new discovery sets from Navitus, as I have been wanting to test more of their fragrances.

Thank you for the review and thank you to Navitus for the giveaway! It’s very hard to choose between Empyreal and Serenade, but if chosen, I would love to win Navitus Empyreal. I also follow CaFleureBon on Instagram and my IG name is sleeprokop.

  • Steven’s reviews are useful for conveying a “vibe” for each scent, I think. I’d most prefer to win The Embrace. I follow on Instagram as @mronhubbard. (USA)

  • I really like the way Steven describes the accords for all of these. They all sound perfect for a cooler romantic evening. I’d like to win The Embrace because the sesame seed note intrigued me. I’m in NY and my IG is wrm_01.

  • I’ve been watching Steven’s channel since the summer of 2020-I was pretty new to knowing the realm of perfumery (I only knew of about 12-20 fragrances, and I’ve been on a search to discover many fragrances which I can like). Steven’s channel has helped me to have a pretty good understanding of perfumery, and I’m familiar with Navitus Parfums. I’m very interested in trying their collected works, and I like, at least some of the works of the perfumers who they’ve used. If I win, then I would choose “Serenade”. I live in the U.S.A. Thanks for the giveaway opportunity. I follow Cafleurebon on Instagram from (@regismonkton)

  • wallygator88 says:

Thanks for the fantastic video Steven. Always excited to hear about the Navitus line.

I would love to win Navitus The Embrace. It sounds like such a unique perfume, especially with the sesame note. I would love to hear the story/inspiration behind this fragrance.

    Cheers from WI, USA

  • Right up my alley fragrances, all 5 I’d love to know .
Steven take on Serenade reminded me of making Chocolate Ganache Cognac Cake, with candied orange peel on top . The fragrance i’d like to win.
I love eating it , but I only make it for private orders, in the state I’m living in, I can’t legally sell drizzled with alcohol cakes in my bakery. In FL and TX Pastry Chefs can , but where I currently live , i need a license for selling alcohol?!?
The only Navitus Parfums I have is Vivamor. Smells a bit like Pineapple Upside Down Cake with saffron
Appreciate the reviews , and the giveaway campaign
    USA

  • Cozy, colder weather recommendations are always welcome.
In our family, mostly shared fragrance collection, there’s three Navitus fragrances
    Aubade, The Embrace and Navus
Aubade is not discontinued, if you wonder, i received an email from Navitus, since I’m a subscriber, and it’s just a name change, the new name is Lyrik. The Bowtie Fragrance Guy explained in his YouTube channel, that the reason was some overseas company happened to own the name Aubade , and they had no choice but to change it.
The two fragrances I like the most are Empyreal, because of the cocoa scones , and the leather, and Serenade because of the chocolate and cognac.
Either would be fine , still I may slightly prefer Serenade
    Thanks for the draw
    USA

  • Steven and Navitus brought their A-game today, I know all 5 suggestions .
If it was me , I would’ve swap Intimus for Exalt Nuit. To be honest I was expecting to see Exalt Nuit included in the recommendations.
My favorite Navitus Parfums fragrances are:
    1. Soir Exclusif
    2. Serenade
    3. Exralt Nuit
Since I already own Soir Exclusif and Exalt Nuit, Serenade us the fragrance i’d like to win
Steven reviews are overwhelmingly positive, and punctual, exactly how I like them.
    All profiles I already follow
    Thanks a lot

  • Lovely review Stephen! I thought Stevens reviews were wonderful and thoughtful – I love how thorough they always are, and how he takes us through the progression of the fragrances note by note. I particularly liked how he described Serenade as a beautiful combination of orange flower, chocolate, and cognac, which sounds absolutely stunning.

If I were to win, I would definitely pick Navitus Parfums Serenade as my choice. I am following your new Instagram page @cafleruebonoffical and my Insta name is momo.liu.121. I live in the US.

  • abigail.perez says:

    Hi Steven,
I’ve been watching your videos for years I can honestly say I have purchased most of my fragrances based of your descriptions. For this reason I would like to say that if I do win the fragrance I would like to ask if you could choose a fragrance for me I’m torn between trying Intimus & Imperyreal but I definitely would rather have you choose for me. I am in the corporate world it i love to go out and every fragrance that I wear I receive compliments on.
I do prefer more masculine fragrances for example I love sexy, dark, woodsy, sensual, leather masculine fragrances are my jam & I also often opt for the unisex fragrances. So, if I win please choose one for me I trust you 100% you haven’t failed me yet LOL
