When I read that the composition contained Kunzea flower, I didn’t know much about it, but it sounded familiar. It is not used often in perfumery. After researching, I learned that it is a Tasmanian pant related to tea tree. It is aromatic and known for its aromatherapeutic benefits, especially its soothing properties.-Michelyn

Goldfield & Banks Mystic Bliss Notes: Australian Kunzea, Frankincense, Pink Pepper, Cardamom, Immortelle, Mint, Clary Sage France, Caramel, Geranium, Fig, Orris, Cassis, Cedarwood, Labdanum Spain, Sandalwood

  • Love Purple Suede, would love to sample this as a fan of fig and iris notes. From Steven’s review it seems it leans into the spices, fig and iris.

  • Honestly what appealed to me was the use of Australian Kunzea. I haven’t seen this used in anything else. I’m sure it probably has been used, I just haven’t seen it or smelled it before. Awesome review btw.

  • What really stood out to me about Mystic Bliss from Steven’s review is how unique and unexpected the composition sounds. The inclusion of Kunzea flower is fascinating, especially since it’s not often used in perfumes, and tying it to the rugged landscape of Flinders Island in Tasmania adds an extra layer of depth. I love how the fragrance brings together earthy, aromatic notes like frankincense and clary sage with unexpected touches like fig, caramel, and mint—it sounds like a perfect blend of freshness and warmth. The balance of spicy pink pepper and cardamom with the softness of sandalwood and labdanum makes me think this scent must evolve beautifully on the skin. It feels both grounded and blissfully ethereal, which is intriguing!

  • What intrigued me most about Mystic Bliss was the use of the Kunzea flower, a rare note in perfumery, which adds an aromatic and soothing layer to the composition. The blend of frankincense, cardamom, and fig evokes a complex, rugged beauty reminiscent of Tasmania’s Flinders Island. I live in the U.S. and would love to experience this olfactive journey. My favorite Goldfield & Banks perfume is Silky Woods, but Mystic Bliss sounds like it could be a new favorite!

  • The combination of Kunzea flower and frankincense is what really captivated me about Mystic Bliss. The fragrance seems to evoke the rugged yet serene landscape of Flinders Island in Tasmania, where earthy and aromatic elements come together. The inclusion of cardamom, fig, and orris also adds a beautiful complexity that makes me eager to try this unique blend. I live in the US, and my favorite Goldfield & Banks scent is Desert Rosewood.

  • Dennis Schwensen says:

Steven describing the scent as “creamy, laconic, fruity,” combined with the Iris just sounds so interesting and beautiful to me. Would definitely love to try it. My favorite fragrance of the brand has to be Pacific Rock Moss.

A Fig and Iris perfume sounds delightful, and the agreeability described is perfect. I don’t have a favorite from this house, but it might be this one or Purple Suede. As a lover of all things fig, the fact that Steven describes it as being noticed throughout is just beautiful. Im very curious about the Tasmanian flower addition. I live in Oregon.

  • Leandro A. Avena says:

I think I like Mystic Bliss as mentioned by Steven’s review because it’s notes are wonderful and It would be a versatile fragrance. My favorite of the line is Velvet Splendour.

  • Ramses Perez says:

My favorite fragrance from the brand is the iconic Silky Woods, even though I don’t know it I’ve smelled it many times and it is a beauty. Island Lush is a very close second. This one is a very complex fragrance as it has notes that cater to different types of fragrance lovers. Going from spicy to creamy and also lactonic, this is a mix you typically don’t see on many fragrances. Also, the Kunzea flower that sets this one apart from any other composition out there is sure to bring about a unique scent profile. Love that Steven mentioned this one is a pretty versatile fragrance and you truly get that from the melange of notes present. I’m located in the USA.

  • Ooh another great note selection from G&B! I am not familiar with the Durbano one with Kunzea but Solstice Scents, Jinx and Teone Reinthal have used it with great success. I would love to try this. My favorite G&B is Velvet Splendour. Im a sucker for the lush old school floral. I am in California. Thank you for the give away.

  • The fragrance features the exceptional note of kunzea, which is not commonly found in perfumes. This gives it a distinctive and memorable scent profile. I live in Trzebnica, Poland, EU. I don’t really have a favourite from Goldfield & Banks because I never tried this house.

  • Brandon Rodriguez says:

Love the Fig, woody, smoothness of the fragrance. Would be an excellent addition. Love the scent of fig but don’t have one in my collection yet. Steve’s reviews always great.

  • My favorite from this house is Silky Woods. I am interested in this new fragrance because of its versatility. I love fig and the fact that it’s combined with iris intrigues me.

  • I’m excited to try this one, very intrigued by the Kunzea flower that Steven mentioned, and that it’s great for year round wear!

  • Steven mentioned the fact that this is an great fragrance for wear all year round, I’m very excited to try it.

  • The notes in this fragrance have intrigued me, so not have anything like this in my collection.
Would love to have a bottle of this especially considering how versatile it is!

  • Love that it’s versatile. Looking forward to experiencing the complexity. Big fan of fig. Love Purple Suede, Bohemian Line and Sunset!

  • As a Michigan resident now, I don’t have access to many brands. Depend on Steven and others for their opinions. Can’t wait to experience the complexity of what I’m sure will be a fantastic fragrance

  • Arian Jamali says:

My favorite fragrance from their line is Bohemian Lime. It’s my favorite summer fragrance. What interests me about their new fragrance is using fig note since I’m a big fan of this note. I truly hope i win so i can sample it! I live in the US.

  • Christopher says:

The note breakdown on the fragrance seems amazing as soon as he mentioned it my curiosity was peaked immediately

  • Deborah Goetz says:

Mystic Bliss sounds amazing. I love other G & B fragrances, but this seems intriguing to me – blending spices, fruit, flowers and woods for balance and longevity. In Steve’s video he mentioned that the cardamom is softer and not loud, and that the orris and sandalwood add creaminess. I am always looking for versatile fragrances and this sounds perfect.

  • researching, I learned that it is a Tasmanian pant related to tea tree. It is aromatic and known for its aromatherapeutic benefits, especially its soothing properties.-Michelyn

Goldfield & Banks Mystic Bliss Notes: Australian Kunzea, Frankincense, Pink Pepper, Cardamom, Immortelle, Mint, Clary Sage France, Caramel, Geranium, Fig, Orris, Cassis, Cedarwood, Labdanum Spain, Sandalwood. This sounds like a great fragrance but really intrigued by the use of Australian Kunzea. This is a house that I have got no experience with. Thanks a million from the UK

  • Notes: Australian Kunzea, Frankincense, Pink Pepper, Cardamom, Immortelle, Mint, Clary Sage France, Caramel, Geranium, Fig, Orris, Cassis, Cedarwood, Labdanum Spain, Sandalwood. I am particularly interested in the notes in this composition especially Frankincense, Pink Pepper, Caramel and Sandalwood. The notes of Kunzea just adds mystery to the composition because I have never heard of it before. A house that I need to explore further. Thanks a lot from the UK

  • Thank you Goldfield and Banks for the opportunity to win a deluxe travel spray of Mystic Bliss!
Based on Steven’s review, I’m utterly enchanted by the rich and sophisticated blend that this fragrance offers.
The way Steven describes the interplay of exotic spices, floral notes, and the creamy sandalwood base is simply irresistible.
His evocative words paint a picture of an olfactory journey that is both luxurious and comforting. I am particularly intrigued by the depth and complexity that Mystic Bliss seems to possess, making it perfect for any occasion.
This fragrance appears to be a true masterpiece, and I would love the chance to experience it firsthand.

  • Patricia R. says:

It is always tempting to try the typical scents of another continent. Mystic bliss seems a tempered and smooth execution of an exotic scent combined with some more familiar notes. I love orris and fig, which are an epitome of elegance for me, and frankincense gives it a spiritual experience twist. I live in the EU.

  • Never heard of kunzea flower before. Steven’s review is detailed and informative as always. This one is described as versatile scent with mild spicy opening that is not powdery due to iris. I generally don’t like fig but its not prominent. Good performance for a warm weather scent. I live in Greece, EU

  • wonderscent.mari says:

I love the fact that Steven said that Mystic Bliss is a versatile scent! Will be great to enjoy it any time in any season! To me the most interesting part is the notes, how they are blended together! It sounds quite ethereal, unique and multidimensional scent due to spices, iris, fig and kunzea flower, which I never heard before! I would be grateful to try it, I think I will love it! My favorite Goldfield & Banks perfume is Ingenious Ginger. Thank you for this wonderful giveaway! I live in EU ☺️

  • Steven’s video was provoking, describing the frankincense and fig notes together. The combination is quite appealing to me. I cannot wait to smell this gem. Maryland, USA.

  • Based on the review I’m liking the note mix. I like the iris mixed with fig, not something I see. I don’t have a fave from this house. US

  • I like, from Steven’s review, that Mystic Bliss is both very pleasant and versatile. It sounds easy to wear and in every season. I like that it can be worn year round. I’m in NY.

  • I love fig fragrances and Mystic Bliss sounds like a really unique take focusing on the flora of Tasmania. Australian Kunzea flower is new to me but its profile being related to tea tree is familiar, especially the aromatherapy aspects. There are several earthy notes combines with unexpected notes such as caramel and mint. Steven mentioned that this is a good year round fragrance. I’m in MD, USA.

  • What most intrigued me about this perfume is the
Kunzea flower note. I haven’t experienced that scent profile in a perfume as of yet
    USA

  • Sounds like a wonderful thing to wear: creamy iris fig with coconut overtones? It’s funny, I’ve never heard Stephen meet a fragrance he didn’t appreciate. I sometimes wonder if he would say if he didn’t like something? This one did seem to give him more trouble pinning it down, which makes it very intriguing. Seasonless, unisex, many notes and moods: as he said ‘interesting.’! I live in the US.

  • Such a treat to come across a new note, and every other note discussed in the review I recognize and seems to fit together perfectly. I’m in the USA, thanks for the drawing.

  • AromaDulce73 says:

I love how Steven said that Mystic Bliss had versatility, it can be worn all year round dressed up or dressed down. I like spicy notes in fragrances. Seems like Mystic Bliss has great longevity which I also like.

  • Steven’s review definitely raised my interest in this perfume. I love fig notes in perfume so I would love to smell this one. Goldfield and Banks makes some very lovely fragrances with Silky Woods and Sunset Hour as two of my favorites. Thanks for another great review.

  • Leonardo Cisneros says:

Hello. I’m curious about the versatility Steven mentions, as well as the fig-iris combination. I like very much Bohemian Lime, and Purplue suede is on its way 😉

  • phuongmtran says:

My favorite Goldfield & Banks is Ingenious Ginger. Mystic Bliss sounds amazing, with its fig and iris notes. I would love to smell the Kunzea flower note! I am in the USA.

  • I’m not familiar with the Kunzea flower Michelyn highlighted in her introduction; if it smells anything like tea tree, I think I’ll enjoy it, especially in an aromatic fragrance along with other materials. Soothing aromatic fragrances work especially well in high heat. Steven explained the cardamom in Mystic Bliss is gentle, over a creamy “almost lactonic” texture, owing to the iris and fig. I also wish I could smell the Kunzea in isolation to know how it’s impacting this composition. “Very complex fragrance.” It sounds like Gallo makes the most of all the materials here.

I’m in the USA. I haven’t tried any Goldfield & Banks fragrances , and have had Purple Suede on my to try list for a while.

  • Michael Prince says:

What appealed to me about Mystic Bliss based on Steven’s review is learning unique notes and facets that are indingenous to Austrailia and the surrounding countries. I loved learning about Kunzea which is made from the Tazmanian Tree plant that gives off an herbal and aromatic quality. There are also many other herbal and aromatic notes that sound really good together. Steven also echos that sentiment during his detailed video review. I am from the USA.
