Best Mother's Day Perfumes 2022

Mother’s Day in the USA is Sunday May 8 (but is celebrated on Sundays in March and June in other countries around the world). If it was up to us, Mother’s Day should be a global holiday. Not only do moms never get a day off, their special day is always Sunday (usually a day of play for the rest of us).  Our 10 Best Mother’s Day Perfumes 20222 are dedicated to all mothers and the maternal women who shaped our lives, which might be you, your sister, your own mom…  and those who live on in our memories.

Here are  Steven’s and Michelyn’s suggestions for 10 Best Mother’s Day Perfumes 2022 (in no particular order here)

Indult Paris My Juju (Nathalie Feisthauer) made my Top 10 Perfumes of 2021. Which is quite special since I smell hundreds of perfumes a year. This sophisticated floral gourmand, My Ju Ju, will be mom’s new perfumed talisman.  With expected notes of coffee and green cardamom, Master perfumer Nathalie Feisthauer (also my perfumer of 2021) created a multi-faceted vanilla skin scent that lingers for hours. I decanted it for my own mom who loves it; I see a full bottle in her future –Michelyn Camen, Editor-in-Chief

House of Sillage Whispers of Enchantment is a floral perfume combined with clean musk and a smooth leather accord. –Steven Gavrielatos, Video Content Editor

Strangelove lostinflowers (Christophe Laudamiel) combines the gentle purity of jasmine, champaca, gardenia enfleurage, saffron, and oud. The heat of her skin transforms the oil into a perfume that is uniquely hers. To quote our  Robert Hermann  (RIP) in February 2019: “Let me tell you how much I love LostInFlowers: it was the ONLY perfume I chose to take with me to the Milan Esxence perfume expo last year.”  I am on my third bottle Master Perfumer Christophe Laudamiel was my Hall of Fame 2021 recipient) -Michelyn

Perfumology L’Ima (Justin Federico) Nir Guy, the owner of Perfumology desired a perfume to honor his mother Tali’s (L’Ima: means Mom in Hebrew) love for her own mother’s garden and encompasses all aspects of majestic garden with herbal, floral, citrus fruit, and greenery –Michelyn

Villa Des Parfums Etoile Celeste (Nicole Derieux and Molinard): Nicole Derieux is a woman I admire very much. She is a mom to her son Etienne, and three teenage children for whom she and her husband are foster parents. She lives in Grasse, the world’s perfume capital. In 2008 Nicole Derieux established the non-profit Parfums de Vie (Fragrance of Life) to help bring real solutions to the poverty, exclusion and literacy issues faced by many children and youth in the town of Grasse.  With her husband they set out to change lives through perfume, and proceeds from every sale of Villa des Parfums fragrances goes to support the organization.  Etoile Celeste, (Heavenly Star) smells like a floral garden after the rain.  It is modern, with a vintage vibe. With its classic French construction centering around a dewy, sparkling jasmine supported by orange blossom, rose, violet and a base of cedarwood and musk, it is a scented prayer. At a time we need a guiding light.-Michelyn

April Aromatics Unter Den Linden (Tanja Bochnig): I grew up in Brooklyn, on a tree lined  block and every spring the fragrance of linden blossoms filled the air. It was one of my first scent memories.  A few years ago, I went back to the house where I was born. The neighborhood changed, but the sweetly honey floral scent of linden blossoms still wafted in the air. So poignantly beautiful, I barely could smell the exhaust fumes and the garbage at the sidewalk curbs.  Tanja, (and a Mom) who is an award-winning natural perfumer composed this to evoke Berlin, transports me to my childhood and sunny days when I didn’t have a care in the world. Herkimer diamond and clear crystal infuse each bottle. I know my mom and sister would love this eau de parfum too. Because you can go home again. Tanja Bochnig was Editor Ermano Picco’s Hall of Fame winner of 2021. -Michelyn

Micallef EDENFALLS (Jean-Claude Astier and Geoffrey Nedjman) “A true love letter to nature.” EDENFALLS is an aromatic citrus, spiced with a pinch of pink pepper and coriander. A tropical waterfall in a bottle. -Michelyn Camen

Roja Parfums Elixir Pour Femme (Roja Dove) is an exquisite classic feminine floral with a beautiful rose Taif core. It is an incredibly textured, unabashedly intimate perfume that is easy to wear, and as in all of Roja Dove’s perfumes, it is complex and composed with precious ingredients. -Michelyn

Bvlgari Omnia Mary Katrantzou is a gardenia and fig leaf perfume. The organic nature of the gardenia is the focal point of this perfume, but the fig leaf note adds a tropical sensation to the perfume. The creamy aspects are addicting and inviting. The versatility of this perfume is unquestionably impressive! -Steven Gavrielatos

Parfums de Marly Oriana (Hamid Merati Kashan and Nathalie Lorson), named as one of Editor Olya Bar’s top 10 fragrances of 2021, I’d like to quote Master perfumer Nathalie Lorson’s description, “Oriana is inspired by Chantilly cream, for the first time combined with marshmallow. Its sensuality is expressed by an orange blossom from Morocco, of exceptional quality – like the ingredients of the citrus top notes – mandarin and bergamot from Italy, harvested by the best producers in the world. The heart of the perfume is based on red fruits (raspberry and black currant), which add a tangy, sparkling, joyful note. The musk base adds volume that combines with the marshmallow to give even more power and sensuality”.-Michelyn

  • One thing I noticed is that sweet perfumes seem to dominate the list. I guess it is true for many people that their moms loved and wore sweet perfumes when they were young. Both Michelyn and Steven speak highly of Indult Paris My Juju and as Indult has done in the past, vanilla is again the star of the composition. My choice is My Juju. I am in US.

  • Michelyn and Steven!!❤️❤️❤️ Fantastic list!!! ❤️ LostinFlowers is brilliant!! ❤️ What a glorious perfume! Michelyn is after my heart with her description of Villa Des Parfums Etoile Celeste as a “modern with a vintage vibe.” Perfume is a beautiful and intimate gift that can be perfect for Mother’s Day! If I were a lucky winner, I would select:
    1) LostinFlowers (for me)
    2) Villa Des Parfums Etoile Celeste (for my mom)
Thank you for this amazing opportunity! ❤️ USA

I love spring. I am always happy to start smelling all of the plans and flowers and also to switch to my floral and green fragrances. This is a really nice list that covers different types of fragrances I like during spring. For example I really like pink pepper and Steven’s pick Eden Falls, but also jasmine and white florals and the fact that Robert only brought LostInFlowers to Milan Esxence makes me really want to try it. I really enjoyed Steven’s video and Mychelin’s comments here, because many of the fragrances mentioned here I didn’t know of and haven’t tried.

I will have to pick Unter den Linden as my first choice simply because I also love linden blossom and this reminds me so much of my childhood too. My second choice would be My Ju-ju. I’m not a huge vanilla fan, but combination with tangerine sounds so good and I really wanted to try it since it launched. My third choice if possible is for sure photo realistic flower masterpiece LostInFlowers . I’m from Illinois, US.

  • Steven did such a wonderful job reviewing and providing his insight into each fragrance. I was most curious about Oriana by Parfums de Marley. I own a couple of PDM fragrances, and absolutely adore them. I’ve always wanted to pick up a PDM for my wife, but she’s not fond of florals and that’s been largely the women’s line. Oriana appears to be much sweeter which is right up her alley!!

  • Thanks for this wonderful article Steven and Michelyn!

Great choices by Steven! I bought Edenfall for my partner and I 100% agree that this is a sweet, sentimental fragrance perfect for timid and relaxed personalities. Whispers of Enchantment sounds really nice too! I will have to get a sample of this for my girlfriend.

Michelyn really caught my attention when she talked about a Vanilla scent with Green Cardamom and Coffee notes! As a lady who loves her Gourmands, my mom will absolutely love wearing this whenever she needs a little pick-me-up.

I would love to win Indult Paris My Juju for my mother! She’s coming over later this year from abroad and a bottle of My Juju would be the cherry on top of all the other presents she’ll receive!

    Greetings from the UK!

  • I was unable to update my previous post to add my @ronaldjapenga instagram account on which I follow CaFlaureBonOfficial!

Such a wonderful list of perfumes and I always appreciate Steven’s videos along with anything Cafleurebon (Michelyn) has to say. Lol. Me and my mom are always sharing perfumes, so gifting is the norm for us. I’m a follower on your Instagram page: jscorpio_jl75

First choice: Oriana the orange blossom in Oriana sounds wonderful and I’ve never owned an orange blossom fragrance I didn’t love. I’d also love to own a Perfume de Marly fragrance and that bottle is just out of this world gorgeous.

Second choice: Lost in Flowers because if someone buys a fragrance 3 times because it’s just that good is a major selling point for me.

    U.S.A.

  • I’m in the UK and would like to win the My Ju-Ju from Indult Paris – it seems very different to all the other spring scents that i have. I’d love to try it, I don’t have a mum to gift it to, but i would happily share with a mummy friend.
all the perfumes listed seem beautiful choices for brighter spring days but i have not tried any of them.

  • I think these are some lovely choices, my own mother loved the original Tresor. It smelled amazing on her. Not so much on me. If I were to win I would love the Oriana. My IG is maryann_dellarocco_finearts

  • I get something pretty and happy from these Mother’s Day picks, which for me definitely correlates with the smells I associate with my mom from childhood. The first perfume I actually remember going with her to buy was Clinique Happy; I believe it was a Mother’s Day gift “from” me that year. If I were to win, my choice would be Indult Paris My Ju-Ju or Parfums des Marly Oriana. USA

  • If I had to pick just one Rojas Elixr but all beautiful choices. That old classic Dior Poison is what reminds me most of my mum back in the day wearing half a bottle for work, chocking probably the entire town out. I do thank my mum for making me who I am now. And my extreme dislike for Poison was probably one of the things that triggered my interest in fragrance

  • Amazing list!!! Two fragrances that caught my attention was Indult Paris My Juju ( first choice if I was a winner ) and Oriana. I think I am a fruity, sweet, gourmand kind of a girl!!! Following Çafleurebon on Instagram as @hshinkoda
Fingers crossed!!! I’m from Massachusetts, USA.

  • Oh this is such an easy pick for me as I’ve been dying to try Lost InFlowers since I first heard about it last year! My second choice would be Étoile Céleste Villa des Parfums as it sounds sophisticated and, most importantly, not sweet. My mother doesn’t wear perfumes but I’m trying to find something she would enjoy. I’m following CFB on IG, name is @flavasauce

  • This is an amazing list with a great message to all mothers out there. I would love to have Parfums de Marly Oriana. The creamy fruitiness is something that would definitely brighten up anyone’s day. My second choice would be My Juju.

    From USA.

  • I like when Michelyn and Steven give views on fragrances they both enjoy. I value both opinions and like that Steven adds a value perspective. I’ve coveted a couple of these from prior reviews so am happy to see them back. I’d love to win any of the following:
    1. LostinFlowers
    2. Oriana
    3. My Ju-Ju
    Insta: frw60

  • Sorohan Adriana says:

Fantastic list! Wonderful ghift for mother day.
If I were a lucky winner, I would select:
-Villa Des Parfums Etoile Celeste for me and second choice is
    – Unter den Linden for my best friend.
I am from Bucharest Romania Europe

  • I really appreciated the in depth reviews for these fragrances, most of which I’d never heard. Now I’m making a list of things to try. Happy Mother’s Day!

  • I appreciate Steven’s and Michelyn’s choices. They are different types of fragrances and would appealing to a wide range of people. In other words, the perfumes seem very varied. lf I win, I would love Oriana by Parfums De Marly. My mom would appreciate this gift.
    Greetings from Maryland, US.

  • And so my wishlist has gotten bigger thanks to Steven and Michelyn’s suggestions. So much details and to the point, just how I like it. I love sweet and floral fragrances. Oriana would be my first choice and Etoile Celeste as the second choice. It would be a dream to wear any of the mentioned fragrances on Mother’s Day or any other day. I live in the US

  • Joseph OBrien says:

As always, thanks for the great content! Steven, you are the reason I’m constantly watching fragrance videos and a big reason I make the purchases I make. I am genuinely in your debt and I know that perfumery will be a lifelong passion for both myself and my wife.

Thank you cafleurebon for hosting this sort of content and for giving video journalists like Steven opportunities to share their gifts with others more widely and diversely.

I followed Cafleurebon on Instagram. My handle is @joetelegram

If I were to win, the perfumes would be shared between my wife and her mother. The two selections that seem the most intriguing to me are 1) Parfums de Marly, Oriana
    AND
    2) Lost in Flowers EDP

The reason for 1) is my wife is a huge gourmand and Parfums de Marly fan, and 2) my mother in law, who is fond of floral compositions, is also losing her memory and fragrance can aid with memory health.

  • Skin.On.Me says:

These are beautiful choices, I see most are flowery, fresh perfumes ideal for springtime. Maybe I wouldn’t put Edenfalls on this list, but that’s just my taste…
I wouldn’t mind any of the following, I like them all: My Ju-Ju, Unter den Linden or Etoile Céleste.
    Following on ig as @skin.on.me

  • Michelyn’s and Steven’s Wonderful list Love all your choices. I notice alot of sweets and Florals. PDM Oriana sounds wonderful and Villa Des Parfums edp Etaile Celeste those are my 2 picks. Thank you for this Chance. USA

  • Giorgia295 says:

Love this selection for mothers day. I yhink my mum would appreciate Etoile Celeste. Greetings fron Italy!

  • hello, thank you for your informative parfume video’s. Always helped me to make a choice.. I live in the netherlands (EU). So i will take my chances on the Strangelove or Tanja Bochnig. thank you 🙂

  • Thank you for your videos, they have always helped me make a pick when I needed solid reviews. I live in the Netherlands (EU) so I will go for Strangelove or Tanja Bochnig. Thank you.

  • is quite special since I smell hundreds of perfumes a year. I decanted it for my own mom who loves it; I see a full bottle in her future – Michelyn Camen, Editor-in-Chief. I am particularly intrigued by this fragrance because I love cardamom and vanilla this sounds like a magical concoction. I always gift my mom perfume and I can’t think of a better gift. I am following @cafleurebonofficial my instagram id is amnaaziz5296@gmail.com. If I am successful I would love to win indult paris My juju. Thanks a million from the United Kingdom

  • LOSTINFLOWERS, only this among a thousand, Michelin, I completely trust you.
A wonderful gift for the one I love most of all in the world.

I have been intrigued by this house for a while but I have not tried anything by this house as of yet. Great choices my Steven and Michelyn. If I am lucky to win I would love to win Strangelove lost in flowers. I think perfume is a beautiful gift for any occasion especially Mothers day. Thanks a lot from the UK

  • Steven’s and Michelyn’s suggestions for 10 Best Mother’s Day perfumes are stunning, one better than the other! I’d highlight Strangelove lostinflowers and Roja Parfums Elixir Pour Femme as my favorites from this list.
I’m from EU and would like to try My Ju-Ju (not sure if this for EU draw or not) or Unter den Linden – both sound amazing! Also a follower on Instagram: @dazi83

  • NituNicolae says:

In honor of all the mothers of this world, I say thank you for being such fierce warriors! As such, if I would win any of these fragrances, I would gift them to my mother, her birthday coming soon. If I were to be so lucky, I would like to win
    1) Villa des Parfums Eau de Parfum of Etoile Céleste
    or
    2) April Aromatics Unter Den Linden
Instagram name is nicolae_nitu. Thank you for this opportunity, cheers from Romania, EU.

  • Great selections by Michelyn and Steven. I like watching the video and reading along
In the UK we already celebrated Mother’s Day so it was interesting to learn other countries celebrate different days.
    My choices are
    Indult Paris My JuJu
    Villa des Parfums Etoile Celeste
    Uk

  • I feel we got a double treat reading / hearing both Steven’s and Michelyn’s opinions about the selection of perfumes and notice how they were common traits but also differences in how each of them perceived the same fragrance, as well as their own personal experience with them.
Steven’s video was once again the proof of his capacity to be synthetic and comprehensive at the same time. It truly helps guide one in forming their expectation.
My choices, should I win, would be lostinflowers or My Ju-Ju or Etoile céleste for my beloved mother. I believe she would love both, since she already has a weakness for powdery fragrances, while Ju-Ju sounds like the perfect cozy vanilla perfume fit for many women in general and mothers in particular.
I live in the EU. Thanks!

  • I am very curious about Unter den Linden as I do not have any experience with natural fragrances. Thank you and good luck to everyone!

  • I’m a mom of twin girls and a daughter to most likely the most wonderful and magical woman in the world. I haven’t seen her in 3 years (she lives in Asia) because of the pandemic which makes me very sad. The good news is my family and I are finally able to travel overseas this summer and will finally get to see my beloved mom and dad!

If I were to win, aside from the biggest hug and thousand kisses I will be giving her, I know she would love a bottle of My Juju! She is a perfume lover like me and I know this will make her sooo happy. My 2nd bottle would be Parfum De Marly’s Oriana for me.

Just followed you on Instagram from both my accounts so I’m super hopeful to win!! ❤️
    @realcupcakesbyclaire, @claireab23

  • I love Michelyn’s and Steven’s choices! I always trust their judgment. For Mother’s Day I usually give flowers, but I do give her perfume on her birthday in June. The two I would most like to win are lostinflowers or Indult Paris My JuJu. I am in the US. My insta handle is @xoecraft.

  • Perfume_Madness says:

Hello great video by Steven and also the article. The fragrance choices are great! Its really hard to narrow down to just ten out of thousands of great ones. They all sound fab! Id love to win My Ju Ju or Oriana. Yes I buy my mom fragrances! My Instagram is perfume_madness_.
    I live in Missouri, USA.

  • I enjoy Michelyn’s introductions and Steven’s video reviews on perfumes. I am a Redolessence subscriber and find Steven’s reviews clear and detailed. I would love to win any of the following:
    1. LostinFlowers
    2. My Ju-Ju
    3. Oriana
    I am from the USA.

  • If I win the draw, then my first choice would be: Villa des Parfums “Etoile Céleste”, my second choice is: “Unter den Linden”, and my third choice is: “lostinflowers”. I found Steven and Michelyn’s fragrance choices to be interesting. I own “L’Ima”: I do enjoy it, and I’m looking forward to wearing it more often. Eventually, I might buy my mom a fragrance: she said she likes “Lapidus Pour Homme”. I follow Cafleurebon on Instagram (@regismonkton). I live in the U.S.A.

  • I find Michelyn’s and Steven’s choices fantastic !!
Love Michelyn’s description of Oriana and Indult Paris My Juju very beautiful!
Very intrugued by Steven short review about Roja Parfums Elixir Pour Femme.
I love do gifts especially perfumes and my last present to my mother is Soir de Lune Sisley.

Great review!! I like knowing that Oriana is the sweetest on the list, so I know the others would be great. Oriana is about my limit of sweetness. That cupcake perfume is so beautiful, I need to get a cupcake in my collection. I’d love to win Lost in Flowers or Juju (which I would decant some for my Mom). Theres a few in my collection that my mom brings her bottles back for “refills”.Thanks for the chance. Thanks to all the mom’s for all you do. USA.

  • The Mother’s Day article is always one of my favorites! I love how in-depth Michelyn goes with each fragrance. Just reading her stories with each fragrance is so special and I really enjoyed learning about some of the perfumers behind the juices. For Steven’s review, I like how he goes into a lot of detail about the notes. And I know the presentation doesn’t matter, but I do always enjoy seeing the bottles in Steven’s videos. If I were to win, I would love Parfums de Marly Oriana (it wouldn’t be for me, my mother is a huge fan of sweet musks and I’m starting the search as to what to get her for Mother’s Day this year). Lastly I am following on instagram (my username is @jakedauod). I loved both reviews so much. Thank you for such a generous draw. Kind regards from IN, USA.

  • I agree that Mother’s Day should be celebrated globally. My mom is my best friend and every mom should be celebrated every day! Indult My Juju sounds so beautiful and perfect for spring and summer. It also sounds like a great Mother’s Day fragrance. Strangelove Lostinflowers is one of the most realistic floral fragrances I have ever smelled. I think it would be a stunning Mother’s Day fragrance gift, especially included with a bouquet of flowers. April Aromatics fragrances are such high quality, so I am not surprised to see Unter den Linden included in this list. I haven’t tried that one, but it sounds like a beautiful linden blossom fragrance. I love how Michelyn went back to the house she was born in, still able to smell the sweet linden blossoms in the air. Parfums de Marly Oriana is a great choice for a mom who prefers fragrances on the sweeter side. Michelyn’s reviews of My Juju, Lostinflowers, L’Ima, Etoile Celeste, Unter Den Linden, EDENFALLS, Elixir Pour Femme, and Oriana are all excellent for these Mother’s Day fragrances. They would all make a gorgeous gift to the mother’s in our lives. Steven’s written reviews of Whispers of Enchantment and Omnia are great, as well. Whispers of Enchantment would make an especially beautiful gift for the fragrance-loving mother or the mother who loves beautiful things. I also loved Steven’s descriptions of the Mother’s Day fragrance picks in his video. It was interesting that Steven said that the pink pepper comes off as rosy in Edenfalls; I wouldn’t have expected that.

Thank you for the article, reviews, and giveaway! I would love to win Indult My Juju (first choice) or Parfums de Marly Oriana (second choice). I also follow CaFleureBon on Instagram and my Instagram name is sleeprokop. I am located in the USA.

  • PDM Oriana is one of my favourite fragrances so there is no surprise seeing it in your list. Beautiful choices, many that I do not know but by their notes they seem beautiful. I showed the list to my mother and i went with her choice. That is Unter den Linden. I am from EU.

  • My mother loves white flowers, so I think My Ju-Ju from Indult would be a super nice gift to her.
    Thank you for the draw!
    I am in Europe.

  • Nikolina_84 says:

Lovely choices! From floral gourmand and vintage vibes to aromatic and tropical scents… Wish I could try them all… My first choice would be My Ju-Ju and second Unter den Linden.

  • punchflower says:

I enjoy hearing and reading two perspectives on the same fragrances. For instance, Steven’s reviews emphasized certain notes, like the powdery formalness of Etoile Celeste, while Michelyn’s told more of a story with a vintage garden after the rain. I would love to share with my mom the lostinflowers or the pmd orianna. US

  • Here (Portugal) we celebrate Mother’s day on the first Sunday of May (this year, on May 1st).
Lovely choices for Spring and for celebrating this date. I really like the combo vanilla + flowers. It reminds me of the confort of a hug, a mother’s embrace.
Entering for Indult Paris My Ju-Ju.

  • Wow, these all sound beautiful and in the entire list, I’ve only smelt Bvlgari Omnia which I agree was addictive and inviting. We’ve also been looking forward to smell three of your picks -; Indult My Juju since my lady absolutely loves Tihota, Parfums de Marly Oriana
and Strangelove Lostinflowers because they sounds stunning. If I had to pick one, it would have to be Strangelove Lostinflowers for being Steve’s number one choice and also having been on my radar for a while. I’m in USA and follow you on instagram as @sngashig

  • Because of Michelyn putting it her top 10 of 2021 I’d choose My Ju-Ju for the draw. From the video, it’s just enjoyable to watch a review rather than read it. As a child I think I bought my mother perfume, probably My Sin or Tabu. US

  • Who doesn’t love the smell of linden? I think it’s the kind of smell that reminds everyone of their childhood. A powerful fragrance that enters your brain and if 50 years from the first time you smelled it, you get to feel it again, it will be like those times in your childhood. It’s just so real, so authentic that you can grasp it. Every cell in your body can grasp this earthly smell… I don’t even know how to describe it. You know what is it and you love it. It’s that feeling.
My choice would obviously be Unter den Linden. Thank you!
    I am in Europe

  • I am a big fan of rose based fragranced so I adored your list. Many of them sound so interesting. What caught my eye is Etoile Celeste so that is my choice if i get to win. But the other like Roja Parfums Elixir and PDM Oriana are just as amazing sounding. Thank you for the chance of winning this fragrance! I live in EU.

  • Both Michelyn and Steven make list that are highly superior to the all mostly commercial fragrances list out there. I really love mother day since it is a reminder that my mother is the best one in the world.
If I could only choose two fragrance those are Oriana PDM and Indult Paris My Juju.
I have gave my mother several perfumes on mothers day before and I hope this one is not an exception.
    Hope to win
    I live in the USA.

  • Great review and great lineup of fragrances! My mother does not know but she loves fragrances around the note of rose so mu choice would be Etoile Celeste. It s a shame that Oriana is only USA because i smelled that one and i think it is amazing. Thank you fir the opportunity! I live in EU.

  • kirisekiib says:

I love your choices! Some of them are my favorite floral fragrances – Elixir, Oriana, and, of course, Lost in Flowers!
I would love to win Lost in Flowers ❤️

  • I would love to win Lostinflowers by Strangelove. I have never smelled a Christophe Laudamiel perfume for Mother’s Day and spring I think offering a perfume with rich floral scents is a perfect choice. In addition I love the scent of gardenia and it is very difficult to find an enfleurage. I live in France, EU.

Between Michelyn stating that My Ju-Ju is in her top 10 of 2021 and Steven’s description of the vanilla, this is the one I would choose. Unfortunately my mom has crazy allergies so does not wear perfume but I always try to wear something she will like when we visit together and I think this would be a winner for both of us. Thanks for the draw, from the US.

  • For the Five above I’d go with either My JuJu or Oriana. They sound the best to me. These two will go great with Spring. Some floral and sweetness. Thanks, Ca

  • I loved both steven’s and michelyn’s choices! I think Michelyn has a more acquired taste of fragrances (not meaning worse or anything like that) than Steven, but both choices, I thought, were inspired! I especially loved how Michelyn put lostinflowers from Strangelove on her list, very inspired!

I’d like to win lostinflowers, I thinks it’s a masterpiece! Also, I live in Croatia, EU and I follow cafleurebon on Instagram, my @ is @il.dolce.papi

  • From both the video and your article, I like Oriana the best. To me. It is reminiscent of a young mother enjoying her time with her children but also retaining her youthful energy and exuberance. It feels sweet and energetic, like the mother who is always planning fun outings for her children. Unfortunately my own mom has passed away, but I like to think that this is something she would have worn when she was younger. Thank you for the opportunity to think about that this morning. If I was chosen I would choose the oriana as well; I live in the US in the state of Virginia and follow Steven on YouTube and all of you wonderful people on Instagram under Rhifings.

  • beautiful fragrances [at least in theory, since I am not as lucky as to know them all] and also, beautiful and sensitive concepts behind them.
Moms are sweet smelling heroes, and many kudos for Nicole Derieux, you rock.
should I be that lucky, I wouldn’t mind to win any of these 🙂
    Indult Paris My Ju-Ju
    Unter den Linden

I love celebrating al of those fabulous mothers out there, including my own who will be 92 this September! Springtime is also such a joyous time as we come out of winter, and the descriptions of these fabulous florals by Michelyn and Steven are so colorful! I enjoy learning about unfamiliar scents that I have not tried and different perspectives and background details about the perfumers who created them as well. Personally, I am a huge fan of PDM fragrances and I just love the description of the marshmallow accord so that would be my #1 choice. The Strangelove Lostinflowers sounds very realistic in terms of florals, so I think that would be #2 fragrances and then I just love the linden flower description and while I am not certain that I actually really know what a linden flower smells like, the description seems like it would transport me to Brooklyn on a spring afternoon, so Unter den Linden would be my #3 choice. Thanks in advance for considering me in the drawing. I am subscribed on Instagram as Cynthia O’Keefe and have registered on this amazing CaFleureBon website and to Steven’s Youtube videos, which I enjoy immensely. I am in New Jersey, USA. All of these would make amazing gifts.

  • Two beautiful lists filled with sweet and floral scents, like a mother’s warm embrace. My mom wears Chanel Coco Mademoiselle and Zarkoperfume Cloud almost exclusively. If she likes my choice, she can have it if I win. I think we would both appreciate Strangelove LostinFlowers due to the high quality naturals and the contrast of the bright florals and the deep base. And Michelyn is on her third bottle. It most be great.
    My choice is Strangelove LostinFlowers.
    I live in Denmark, EU.

  • I definitely agree that Mother’s Day should be a global holiday. Although I lost my mother at a young age I have many amazing women in my life who I love to honor, not just on this one special day. Both Steven’s and Michelyn’s lists are full of amazing fragrances but the ones that stand out to me most are Parfums de Marly Oriana and Indult Paris My Ju-Ju. Thinking about first and foremost my wife (whom I would gift the prize to should I win), she is drawn to sweeter fragrances and “pink” scents so I’m sure she would love Oriana. The marshmallow accord has me very curious and it’s hard to beat PDM’s quality and beautiful presentation. I remember reading about My Ju-Ju when it was featured in Michelyn’s top 10 and absolutely loved the idea behind the fragrance and how it was created in honor of Nathalie Feisthauer’s child. So, my choices would be:
    1) PDM Oriana
    2) Indult Paris My Ju-Ju
Thanks, as always, for the opportunity and cheers from Illinois, USA!

  • My mom and I don’t have all that much in common, but one thing we share is a love of perfume! We have been sniffing and sharing for many years..I would love to gift her with a bottle of My JuJu..sounds like something she would enjoy. I am in the US..my instagram is teaparty326. Thank you!

  • petergigov says:

My Ju-Ju Tihota is totally worth sampling. All the citruses, musks, cardamom and overall freshness are the things that makes the fragrance so uplifting .A touch of coffee and woods in the drydown i believe will keep My Ju-Ju from becoming too juvenile , or sugary.
Ida Meister review made me try , and buy Perfumology Sudu Te, L’Ima sounds good too
M.Micallef EDENFALLS i think is refined and elegant woody aromatic, with zesty opening and patchouli and earthy elements in the base. Bottle is awesome, I especially like the color scheme.
Being a vain man compliments are really important to me. Parfums de Marly Oriana with its fresh orange blossom, fruityness , and moderately sweet musky base, for sure will get me unsolicited compliments , smelling amazing.
My 2 choice are Indult Ju-Ju, and Parfums de Marly Oriana
My mother really likes Xerjoff Lira , I bought her a new bottle in February .
    Exciting giveaway , USA
    Regards

  • Uncle1979 says:

Oriana Parfums de Marly reminds me of making, and later eating Black Currant Mousse Sheet Cake , With Whipped Cream Topping And Non-Candied Fresh Berries on top . Happy Pastry Chef in the house ‍
Perfumology is one of the best places to buy fragrances in the States.Cardboard type of material instead of boxes for their own fragrances, so they can keep the price low, is a nice idea. I own Grange.
Edenfalls reminded me of eating Tangerine Vanilla Tea Cakes with candied peel on top , drinking freshly squeezed juice and having a walk at the Versailles gardens.
What i like in Indult Paris My Ju-Ju , is meringue comparison Ida Meister made in her review, and Michelyn calling it sophisticated gourmand , i imagined my own Bakery. You can smell meringues , and Lemon Meringue Pie , and also cardamom, caramel , coffee, vanilla every single day
Just like me , my mom is into gourmands, last fragrance I gifted her with, was Mancera Choco Violet.
Indult Ju-Ju, and Parfums de Marly Oriana i like the most
Appreciate Michelyn and Steven collaboration, and the giveaway campaign

Thanks for the great review Steven and Michelyn!

I really liked that Michelyn had many fragrances that she spoke highly about, especially Strangelove and Indult Paris. Steven – thanks for your in depth minutes on these fragrances.

I was wondering based on these review what my mother would enjoy and I think based on the countries that we’ve lived in (and what I know of her taste), I think she would like

    1. Strangelove lostinflowers
    2. Indult Paris My Ju-Ju
    3. April Aromatics Unter den Linden

    Cheers from WI, USA

  • wandering_nose says:

Michelyn has done a great job introducing the top picks while providing some insightful context – I especially liked her memory of linden blossoms around her neighbourhood in Brooklyn. Her mention of Nicole Derieux and her charitable activity has left me full of admiration.
Steven is fantastic as always and I love that he emphasises he would like his wife to wear some of his picks more often/ start wearing some of them.

Based on the recommendations, my picks would be:
    1. My Ju-Ju
    2. Lostinlowers
    3. Unter den Linden

I follow @cafleurebonofficial on IG under the name of _cathy_reilly_

Thank you for the amazing draw.

  • Thumbs up for the nice idea
    Let’s see…
Perfumology L’Ima zesty , herbal and sour accords I like
EdenFalls is such a stylish , and refined high-class fragrance . It’s also quite complex, something I really like. And like Michelyn I like tropical waterfalls in a bottle
Parfums de Marly Oriana is transitional weather fragrance , orange blossom, marshmallow , fruits and some musk nuances . It sounds super good , and cozy , especially for the unpredictable season we’re in. Parfums de Marly Oriana , and Indult Paris My Ju-Ju are my two favorite ones from the article
My mom likes Guerlain, either one of the Bee looking bottles, or some of the Shalimar variations . For Christmas I bought her the latest Shalimar called Millésime Vanilla Planifolia
    Thanks for the draw

As usual I’ll share my thoughts on the fragrances I know, or want to try starting with the way Steven showed them in his video
    9. Perfumology L’Ima
Nir is such a great guy. I’ve been to Perfumology a couple of times , where I ordered total of 12 bottles .Own Grange Blyss and Clutch – i really like all 3. If it was me , I’d swap L’Ima with Sudu Te , quality tea , mango and creamy sandalwood
    8. M.Micallef Edenfalls
To name a fragrance “Waterfalls in Paradise” is a bold move , but the fragrance definitely delivers.Opening is bright, with citruses and pink pepper , then comes clean jasmine and in the base is still fresh, floral and spicy earthy fragrance. I do perceive instead is fresh young rose , through the whole life of the fragrance.
I love the way it smells, I personally wouldn’t call it “tropical” – Michelyn, or “sweet” – Steven
    7. Oriana by Parfums de Marly
Awesome fragrance, smells like hand made Turkish Delight you can only find in Turkey. I also perceive rose in the background.
    3. My Ju-Ju by Tihota
    “This sophisticated floral gourmand”
    Well said
Nathalie Feisthauer did a good job with My Ju-Ju, laid back floral fragrance I like , I had to try it out because of Tihota.
    1. Strangelove NYC Lost In Flowers , opening is a bit too much white flowers for my taste, but wait for it ~20min to settle down, the beauty is in the base. It’s woody and I don’t know why but I get tobacco leaves
Both Oriana by Parfums de Marly, and My Ju-Ju by Tihota are right up my alley
Mom wears Jo Malone fragrances for the most part, and Dior Poison, and Addict on special occasions , all gifted by me. Her favorite fragrance is Dior Poison .
    Just followed @villa_des_parfums , all other profiles I already follow , @waltherp99bg

  • Like so many of your posts here, this made me wish I could go on a buying spree…! I know probably not ALL the choices mentioned would be EXACTLY up my alley (or my loved one’s), I love hearing about so many lovely things out there. So… having to narrow it down, the one I would most love to win is Unter den Linden. My second choice is Oriana. I follow on Instagram as @mronhubbard. My mom and I do give each other perfume! (USA)

  • Michelyn and Steven‘s reviews were once again amazing and expected. They have the ability to transport me into scenarios they describe by smell. The o my one on the list I have smelled before is Eden Falls which was great and indeed quite peppery on the opening transitioning to a smoother dry down. If I were to win, I would love PDM Oriana.
    U.S., IG: @Wole2

  • I loved Steven’s review!! What a wonderful selection of the best Mother’s Day fragrances! I have been DYING to try PdM Oriana. I would have that be my first choice, if I win. But all sound beautiful and I’d be so grateful to win any of the 5 you are offering!
    I live in the USA.

  • IvanVelikov says:

Indult Paris i have no experience with, in My Ju-Ju i see classical citrus floral, but modernized with gourmand touches.
I know I’m supposed to say what I think about M.Micallef Edenfalls, but I can’t help myself, and I’ll say designer they hired did hell of a job ,bottle looks astonishing.
Finest ingredient in unfamiliar combination , fresh and alluring, spicy, patchouli. Niche fragrance at it’s finest.
Being in tailoring business, I would wear PDM Oriana while working with clients at the shop. Feels like a happy and cheerful moderately sweet floral , but also professional type of fragrance. Almost all my orange blossom based , but also musky fragrances, I wear with a suit at the shop , sweetness and whipped cream accord are tickling my fancy even more
if i have to list 2 fragrances , My Ju-Ju Tihota and Oriana Parfums de Marly
Like Michelyn, I first decanted half of my Tom Ford Black Orchid , and then bought my mom new 100ml bottle . Latest fragrance i bought her is again by Tom Ford – Noir Pour Femme .
    Thank you all

I grew up in a family of fragrance lovers, and collectors. No one was directly involved in selling, making or distribution, still my Mom ,Dad ,Grandma,Grandpa,Uncle…and so on, all of them always had at least 20-30 bottles of different fragrances. Until now our family gatherings are drenched in perfume
Since the topic is Mothers Day perfume, I’ll say Grandma is Chanel girl all over, I gifted her a bottle of Chanel Coromandel for Christmas. My Mom likes loud boozy, sweet, lots of patchouli fragrance, I gifted her with a bottle of By Kilian Single Malt for Christmas.
The best fragrance in the article are , in no particular order
    ☆ Micallef Edenfalls
I wonder how olfactive representation of a tropical rainforest smells ? I’m actually quite curious . Sounds so multifaceted and also inviting , i also sense some nice vibe around it
    ☆ Parfums de Marly Oriana
Bright and fizzy playful fragrance , with citruses on top , marshmallows and whipped cream.
Just throw some fruity tartness into the mix , Oriana is a future classic I would like to explore. Love both of my Delina bottles , I mean i have the regular one , and the Exclusif
☆ Citruses, cardamom, coffee, amulets , meringue ? Indult Paris My Ju-Ju is so bright and vibrant, yet slightly enigmatic and visionary.
Thank you the hard work, and the opportunity
Cheers with my last bottle of Dirupi – Valtellina superiore 2017 , awesome wine from the Lombardy area ♥

  • My first choice is Strangelove lostinflowers. Michelyn has purchased three bottles! And, Steven’s description of the photorealistic scent and ingredients make me want to smell it now.

My second choice is Indult My Ju Ju. Steven’s description of the vanilla note sold me. And, it made Michelyn’s top 10 for 2021. It must be amazing!

I follow ÇaFleureBon on Instagram at meghan_l_oc.

  • I really love Steven’s reviews as he breaks down the notes so well. I have not purchase perfume for my mom as I wouldn’t want to but something she does like. I live in the USA.
I would love to win any of the following:
    1. Etoile Celeste
    2. PdM Oriana
    3. My Ju-Ju

Lovely lists and reviews Steven and Michelyn! I absolutely adore Michelyn’s choices and I enjoyed learning what spoke to her about each fragrance. I particularly loved her story about how April Aromatics Unter Den Linden reminded her of growing up in Brooklyn the tree lined block of her memories that still smells the same to this day and how the fragrance transports her back to those childhood sunny days and memories. What a beautiful image!

I also really loved Steven’s choices and how he so thoroughly and meticulously compares the fragrances such as how he described Strangelove lostinflowers as the most natural and complex of the fragrances with intensely luxurious and extravagant all natural ingredients. I absolutely love fragrances lie that and Steven’s review makes me want to try it immediately.

I am following your new Instagram page @cafleruebonoffical and my Insta name is momo.liu.121 . I live in the US. I’d be very happy with any of these bottles but my preference is in the following order:

    1) Parfums de Marly Oriana
    2) Strangelove lostinflowers
    3) Indult Paris My Ju-Ju
    4) April Aromatics Unter Den Linden
    5) Villa Des Parfums Etoile Celeste

I do gift my mom with perfume – she is particularly fond of the classic White Shoulders.
