Amouage Beach Hut Man (Christopher Chong and Elise Benat) 2017 ~New Fragrance

Amouage will debut Beach Hut Man, a green, woody and aromatic olfactory fragrance from Creative Director Christopher Chong in collaboration with perfumer Elise Benat.  Beach Hut Man continues the narrative of 2016’s fougère, Bracken Man.

“Beach Hut Man tells the story of an iridescent aromatic idyll that unfolds in the fragrant wild garden of a beach hut, where the sweeping sand dunes meet the sea,” says Christopher Chong. “It liberates the senses and unleashes emotion as it explores the intoxicating sublime of the shoreline during the mesmerizing moments of sunset.”

Beach Hut for Man is part of the Midnight Flower Collection which also includes the fragrances ‘Bracken’ and ‘Sunshine’ as well as ‘Hope,’ ‘Love,' ‘Happy,' ‘Smile,' and ‘Joy’ candles and complementary room sprays.

  • sounds yummy, I love when a guy goes past and has a wonderful trail of fragrance left behind 🙂

  • I just dont’ expect a perfume called Beach Hut from Amouage. Maybe it is great but I like the older incense scents.

One of my friend who is in Dubai & returning today texted me on Whatsapp that he tried Beach Hut and that the packaging is extremely beautiful. Its a summer fragrance & I hope he may bring samples with himself.

I love Amouage perfumes, and am happy to hear of new releases like this. They usually have excellent (or beastly) projection, so I’ll be interested to see how that will be pulled off here. The heart seems quite green, and to have that dry down into a base of patchouli, myrrh, and woody notes sounds like it may have a unique twist.

  • I am relaly interested what Amouage can done with some fresher notes, unfortunately Sunshine man and Bracken man didn t woved me because they were too much similar to other fragrances. Sunshine man to Caron Pour Un Homme and Bracken man to Fougere Royale. But this one sounds better with Ivy, Myrrh and Dry Woods
