The Xerjoff Torino Series (Join the Club) was created to celebrate the partnership between the International NITTO ATP Finals, (which is the second highest tier of annual men’s tennis tournaments after the four Grand Slam tournaments) Sergio Momo is from Turin, Italy and  wrote last year on Instagram “As a Turinese entrepreneur I am happy and proud to be among the representatives in support of the city that have the honor of hosting this great event”. –Sergio Momo, CEO and Founder of Xerjoff and Turin Brand Ambassador. This prestigious partnership will continue through 2025.

Xerjoff Torino22 is the second in the series and was released late last year timed with the NITTO ATP Finals November 13-20 2022.

Compared with 21, Xerjoff Torino22 is more intense and goes in a very different direction. Opening with bergamot, the brightness it quickly is obscured by the prominent triptych of saffron, eucalyptus and clary sage which are woven throughout the entire fragrance. Clean, smooth musk, woods and just a hint of sweetness add modernity. Xerjoff Torino22 is enigmatic, unique to my nose original and not what I expected.     I love that Torino 22 goes in a complete different direction. I am not a fan of houses repurposing fragrances and making them as flankers, I like when they bring something different to the table. The saffron itself also adds a bit of heavy-ness to it which I love. I like how Steven referred to it as an enigmatic fragrance. I’d love to win a bottle. Cheers from NJ, USA

    It’s exciting to hear Michelyn and Steven emphasize that this is a wholly original fragrance and not a flanker of Torino 21. I love eucalyptus and always find it interesting, but to see it combined with saffron really has me intrigued. I struggle to imagine what it would smell like exactly…and with both Michelyn and Steven calling it enigmatic, it seems to be a fragrance that cannot easily be labeled. I also found it interesting that Steven mentioned that perhaps it would be at home in a different color of bottle. Purple? Red? Hmmm. This one certainly has me curious and would love to check it out.     I like that Steven suggested this to a more older person that appreciates niche fragrances.

    Saffron is a very unique and great in my skin.

    I appreciate Michelyn noting this is not a flanker given the other torino and that the bottles on this brand can make things look like flankers rather than something new. I like how steven gives a breakdown of the sillage/fragrance stages. This is always so helpful because i am a bit of a light sprayer and dont like to go too bold in public. Helps me plan my day if i know i need to spray an hour before leaving to keep things within arms length! I really love the way steven describes fragrances, he’s quickly becoming my favorite frag youtuber. I am in Bellingham, WA.

    I have a friend who always rave about Torino21. But then I watched Michelyn and Steven talk about Torino22 and I am very intrigued. To me eucalyptus is a note that gives freshness to a fragrance. I am very curious to see if I will enjoy this note blended with saffron which has a very rich and denseness to it. I personally enjoy both of these notes.     Xerjoff has always been one of my favorite perfume houses. I have tried Torino 21, which is already a masterpiece for summer. When I heard about Torino 22’s launch, I cannot wait to try it.     I liked that Michelyn specifically discussed the differences between Torino21 and Torino22, especially since I wasn’t in love with 21 when I first sampled it.

    In Steven’s review from Redolessence I liked the the way he showed the fantastic presentation of the bottle. I also liked the note breakdown and that he touched on the minty aspect of Torino21 which I wasn’t a huge fan of. Torino22 being a bit darker with less prominence on the mint sounds very appealing to me.

    Reading Michelyn and hearing Steven both say how unique this fragrance is and how there really isn’t anything comparable to this profile says a lot.     Michelyn says Xerjoff Torino22 is more intense than Torino21 but not a flanker. Steven says it has noticeable minty note but not as intense as Torino21 or Renaissance. Steven is also reminded of some classics such as Lolita Lempicka and Body Kouros. I am in US.

    The artistry of perfumery is achieved at its peak when presented with what I would call indescribable uniqueness in balance. I assume that is what Steven described as obscurity. Hope to try it.

    Everything Steven does is amazing. The way he explains fragrances really helps me out In particular by throughly explaining how these scents are to a T. Xerjoff T22 has been a fragrance that’s always been in the back of my head. Recently I’ve been circulating back to Xerjoff to see what I either overlooked or need to try again.     I LOVE Torino 21, it was my first Xerjoff fragrance as well as a blind buy! I’ve been looking forward to Torino 22 since hearing about it.     I loved that Steven clarified the dark aspect of this fragrance compared to it’s predecessor. The particular notes of eucalyptus, clary sage, and mate on top of woods and musk sounds like an enigmatic scent profile.

    Loved both reviews and how they go in depth on the fragrance itself, which I really appreciate. I’m into fresh colognes, and this seems like it’s a perfect fit for that category.     I own Torino 21 and hearing Steven say that Torino 22 is a unique fragrance and steers away from the original excites me. The use of eucalyptus is definitely interesting and I love having that scent around my home.     It was pretty cool to learn through Michelyn that this fragrance was made in collab with men’s tennis. The sweet and spiciness (mentioned by Steven) seems like an interesting combination, and how unique and special this fragrance is (with “pizzazz”). I really enjoyed Steven’s descriptors since its kind of hard to compare with other fragrances. If I have the chance I would love to sample this. From TX, USA.

    I have (and love) Torino 21, and have a sample of Torino22 on the way. I enjoy that both Steven and Michelyn note that this is a completely different fragrance from Torino21, and not just a more intense flanker (as we’ve become so accustomed to seeing).     Michelyn’s introduction was good as I wanted to know the image in the perfumer’s head (tennis tournament that is part of Turin’s history). I tried a sample of Torino 21 and I am glad Steven compared the two. Steven said it did bot remind him of any other fragrances and that makes it unique and I like that as I hate copycats. The Body Kouros comparison was also good. I understand that it’s a citrus woody composition with musk mixed with saffron and clary sage in supportive role along with eucalyptus which I love. Excellent review.

    I’m this article I just can’t pass up how they’ve intertwined sports with fragrances! Such a cool concept and the way Steven describes it is par for the course as per normal. He doesn’t just give notes, he dives deeper to give the viewer a much more educated concept of something that can be otherwise simple.

    I have a soft spot for Italy , country full of sightseeings, and kind of wild , and passionate people , but also birthplace to such fragrance, and marketing geniuses like Sergio Momo.

    Correct, with its own , confusing for non-tenis lovers rules.
    Since I know Torino21 and Torino22 , I’d like to say my opinion is in a way similar, but also different from what Michelyn and Steven are getting.
    Whiteout a doubt, like Michelyn said Torino22 is not a flanker , but more like a distant relative to its predecessor. I do get the bergamot, the saffron and the eucalyptus, a bit of clary sage ,but the thing I do get ,and both Michelyn and Steven do not is the big blast of leafy green mate tea. Sweetness i don’t get at all. I agree, Torino22 is different, and a bit unique. In the base the fragrance slightly reminds me of Accento Overdose , it almost surprised me that Steven didn’t make sure comparison.
    My favorite Xerjoff is Mamluk

    Sampled Torino 21 and fell in love with it. I had to have it in my collection. Now that I watched Steven’s and Michelyn’s review on Torino 22. I can’t wait to get my hands ont his fragrance. Just me falling in love with Torino 21 and knowing that Torino 22 is a more intense version than T-21 but goes in the opposite direction.

    As much as I like flankers, I’m glad that Michelyn and Steven have said this is completely different than Torino 21. Really love the fresh mint opening, but the saffron is what I find most interesting. It’s interesting that Steven said this isn’t an office fragrance. Normally, I really like bright, modern fragrances for the office, but I think the uniqueness of the fragrance may make this better for a daytime date (or more formal occasion like Steven suggested). Also, I love the Xerjoff bottles. Really beautiful and luxe.

    Wow this sounds great. I had no idea these fragrances were so different, though I have sampled neither of them. Michelyn’s intro was informative to point out the differences between the two and I hadn’t realized Xerjoff would be putting one out each year until 2025. It will be interesting to see the different iterations. Steven’s review was so descriptive! I love how he describes the cloud covering the sun as how the brightness smells to him. I totally get that analogy. It’s also interesting that he cannot compare this to anything he’s smelled. That makes me very intrigued. Thank you! From the US.

    I had no idea that Torino 21 was in a partnership with the ATP Tennis finals! I loved Michelyn’s intro for that little fact and they Torino 22 seems to be completely unique to Torino 21.

    When reading the notes, I thought it could be similar to BR540/Haltane/Oud for Greatness because of the clary sage/saffron, but I love that Steven goes out of his way to talk about how unique it is and stands on its own.

    I really enjoy the history that Michelyn went into on the history of this fragrance and the partnership that Xerjoff has with the NITTO ATP finals. As Sergio is from the same city as the tournament these fragrances must mean a great deal to him. Steven’s description of it being an enigmatic fragrance is one that makes this very interesting to me. I’m excited to see what directions they take it into for the next 3 years!

    First of all, I am a HUGE fan of Torino 21 and the house of Xerjoff in general (full bottles of 40 Knots, Tony Iommi Monkey Special, and Lira in regular rotation. So good!)

    I really enjoyed Michelyn’s introduction to the Torino22 fragrance from Xerjoff. She provides a comprehensive overview of the scent, its notes, and its history, and she also delves into the intriguing backstory of the perfume.

    I also enjoyed Steven’s review on YouTube. He showcases the fragrance in a unique way and shares his personal experience with it. He also provides helpful advice on how to wear Torino22 and it seems like one could win with ’21 in Summer and the new Torino22 in the cooler months.

    Michelyn and Steven takes on the fragrance made me think of going to Torino (Turin) with my girlfriend, making the classic Saffron Cake , drinking bergamot juice and why not visiting the tournament ourselves 🙂
    Judging by how enthusiastic Michelyn and Steven are , I have a feeling the scent, and development will shock me in a good way.
    I had similar experience with not only the best Casamorati, to the best Xerjoff , and one of the best gourmands ever – Italica , the awesome , and similar to Toffee Almond Cake (traditional recipe) fragrance.

    The only Xerjoff fragrance I’ve tried so far is “Naxos”, and I love and own that one. I’ve heard great things about their citrus fragrances, but I still haven’t tried any yet. I’d like to experience the bergamot in combination with the saffron, clary sage, and the eucalyptus, and then I’d like to see them combine with the woods and the musk as Michelyn described.     Torino22 feels Italian to me, it represents the beauty , passion, love for tennis , and sensuality of Italian man, and women.
    Ideally balanced, smooth fragrance with bergamot, mate tea, musk, hint of sweetness, and it’s made by Xerjoff ? I believe I’d feel in good spirits wearing it.
    I do watch tennis , and I know the ATP Finals is the end of the year tournament.

    I love that you guys go in to depth about all the nuances of fragrance, I especially like Steven’s description of eucalyptus comparing it to mint, spends like a very green take on nio. Michelyn intro is succinct to say the least, I especially like the detail comparing it to torino 21, gives us a small glimpse in to the fragrance.

    Learning about Torino22 was such a delight , Steven and Michelyn are such a great duo ! The different facets set up by the perfumer are impressive , it’s not just a linear fresh bergamot fragrance like i was expecting, it’s way more.
    The new Torino22 , new to me at least, is citrusy , with eucalyptus, woods , and tiny bit of sweetness .Posh fragrance at its best , I need such perfumes in my collection.
    I’d wear Torino22 going out to a bar , or live music event. I’ll look for samples , my expectations are beyond high
    Out of all Xerjoff lines, my favorites are Casamorati Lira , Opera , Italica and Amabile.

    Stevens video was I think very detailed about the originality of the fragrance as well, and I like that he said he couldn’t really compare it to something else. I do also follow @cafleurebonofficial on instagram !

    Excellent review and contrast from Torino21 from the sounds of it. Whereas the 21 goes in a minty direction, this one veers into eucalyptus and (from what I’ve read) a Lipton sweet lemon tea accord that the Mate note adds to, all before a a BR540 similar background. excellent comments from Michelyn, this seems like one that would be great going from Winter into spring due to its intensity. Quality content from Steven as always too – his comments on the drydown lead me to believe that this one is something special! This would shop to Pennsylvania, USA.

    I haven’t tried Torino21, but Michelyn’s description of the “prominent triptych of saffron, eucalyptus and clary sage” in Torino22 caught my attention. I love the camphorous, pungent smell of eucalyptus, and that combination of notes is compelling.

    I like how Steven talked a bit about how clary sage is used in modern masculine fragrances and its role in those blends. He also pointed out how the restrained, dappled-light opening seperates Torino22’s use of sage from some other fragrances that might seem similar. Great review!

    In both Michelyn’s introduction and Steven’s video review I appreciated the comparisons between 21 and 22 versions. From Michelyn I learned that it is not a flanker to the 21 version and stands on its own. Steven as usual did a great job describing the perfume and comparing it to other perfumes. I am a Redolessence subscriber and am from the continental United States.

    I like how Torino22 is not just a great composition , but it’s made to honor Sergio Momo passion for tennis . It’s like he had the idea of making tennis player , or tournament collaboration fragrance for years back, but stored it for a better days .
    Clearly fragrance with a character, that has a lot of layers, fresh, smooth , minty , and some tea.
    I love such non-linear artistic perfumes , something to be expected of Xerjoff of course.
    Naxos and La Capitale are my favorite Xerjoff beauties , and I’d love to compare them with Torino22

    I like how Torrino22 is different than Torrino21 but yet they both have bergamot which ties the fragrances together. I follow @cafleurebonofficial and Redolessence and live in AZ.

    Oh boy, Xerjoff is one of my favorite fragrance house of all the world. I really love their collection Join the club.
    I am so intrigued now that I read Michelyn introduction and Steven review. I would love to try it and knowing that it goes from a different direction from Torino 21 just makes me wonder more about this fragrance. I think that the saffron and eucalyptus makes this more obscure and enigmatic. I already love it.

    Intriguing! I liked how Steven said this fragrance was teasing but still satisfying, and how it has a hint of sweetness that reminded him of perhaps vanilla, coumarin, or even star anise. I also liked how Michelyn said you could smell the saffron, eucalyptus and sage the whole time, not just during certain stages, and how unique this scent is. Hello from Colorado!

    I loved Michelyn’s Introduction and Steven’s YouTube review of Torino22. It sounds like a great addition to the Xerjoff Torino series was created to celebrate the partnership between the International NITTO ATP Finals, (which is the second highest tier of annual men’s tennis tournaments after the four Grand Slam tournaments). Steven and Michelyn both agree that Torino22 deviates from Torino21’s DNA and has more of an aromatic and spicy nature focused on Saffron, Eucalyptus, and Clary Sage. It also sounds super unique which I can really appreciate. I follow @Cafleurebonofficial with @michaelprincefragrance I am from Ohio, USA.

    Outstanding review and comparison. It appears that while Torino21 has a minty fragrance, this one leans towards eucalyptus and has a Lipton sweet lemon tea and Mate note blend, ending with a background similar to BR540. Michelyn’s comments lead me to believe this fragrance is perfect for the upcoming transition to spring. Steven’s remark on the drydown leads me to believe that this scent is exceptional. What I enjoyed about Michelyn’s introduction was the way she described the fragrance as both intense, indeed more intense than 21, but also very clean with the combination of eucalyptus, clary sage, and clean dry woods. I also appreciated that she pointed out how unique it was and not actually a flanker of Torino21.

    What I enjoyed about Steven’s YouTube review of Torino22 is how he describes the clary sage note as giving a very modern masculine and professional air to the heart of the fragrance. I am a a big fan of clary sage as a note and I can definitely see how a fragrance built around it would be very professional and yet also mysterious and enigmatic.     Italians truly their country , cherish Italian culture, and are proud of their heritage, I love it.
    Sergio Momo said the partnership between him and ATP Finals (NITTO is the main sponsor of the event) will continue through 2025 , and the reason is the tournament will be held in Turin until 2025 . It’s not yet announced by the ATP what will happen next.
    I’m interested in Torino22 for a few reasons, I like Xerjoff, tennis and Michelyn and Steven reviews.
    ATP Finals has unique format , unlike any other other ATP Tour events , there are two groups of four players, and the two of each group qualifies, and moves to the semi’s.
    I had the pleasure of visiting the tournament twice, while it was still held in London , back in 2015 when Novak Djokovic won , and again in 2017 when Grigor Dimitrov was the winner.
    Torino22 is just as unique as the tournament, no wonder Michelyn called it enigmatic , i like the minty eucalyptus , the bergamot of the hint of sweetness.
    Both reviews were helpful to me, to sort of feel better the spirit of “Torino22”
    My personal favorite Xerjoff fragrances are Cruz del Sur II , followed by Golden Dallah and then comes my old love Lira.

    I enjoyed Michelyns comparison with the 2021 version of this fragrance. It definitely has a unique set of notes with the eucalyptus, mate, guiacwood and the the musky, woody drydown/

    The presentation is quite beautiful, especially with the graphics and the color scheme.
