Xerjoff Tony Iommi Monkey Special REVIEW

Xerjoff Tony Iommi Monkey Special photo by Steven©

The Xerjoff perfume brand  began in 2004 as an extension of  a design business Creative Director Sergio Momo (my interview here) owned and ever since he has drawn inspiration from all aspects of life from the Apollo Moon landing to the brand’s partnership with  the Tennis Association  NITTO TNP and in the case of Xerjoff Tony Iommi Monkey Special people he’s met on his olfactive journey. In an interview I did in 2011, he told me: “Xerjoff is all about NATURE and ITALIAN CRAFTMANSHIP. The intent of Xerjoff was to use the best of what the world and nature has provided us and combine this with what man can achieve. Italians have for all of history, taken pride in craftsmanship.” Xerjoff Xerjoff Tony Iommi Monkey Special is a collaboration with Sergio Momo’s friend British-Italian guitarist Tony Iommi, who co-founded the English heavy metal band Black Sabbath, and was the band’s guitarist, leader and only continuous member for nearly five decades. Iommi was ranked number 25 in Rolling Stone magazine’s list of the “100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time”. Tony Iommi Monkey Special is new to Xerjoff Blends Rock Edition.-Michelyn Camen, Editor in Chief  You can watch Tony’s Video about the fragrance “Scent of Dark” here

Notes include: Bergamot, rum, geranium, passion fruit, cinnamon, patchouli, leather, sandalwood, vanilla, caramel, labdanum, musk

I have been so curious about this one. Another informative review by Steven. This combo of notes sounds divine and I love the way Steven describes the patchouli caramel combo and how this fragrance is unique while being reminiscent of other fragrances. This really sounds like an amazing cool weather scent. Thank you for the draw. From the US.

  • Josh Sentner says:

Really intriguing sounding fragrance! Thanks for a great review you always enlighten me to the broader scopes of the world of fragrance!

  • ChefMuggy says:

Steven is only the second person I’ve seen review this & I must say, he does a superb job!

  • baker1128 says:

Would love to win this it’s a bit hard to find and a bit on the pricier side but the description of the notes is quite interesting and would like to try it I’m sure I’d love it and Steve from redolesence made it sound even better

  • Zoran Loncarevic says:

Great reciew as always from Steven. Oh, I’m an absolute Xerjoff fan and would be very happy if I won. Unfortunately, I’m from Germany, but the grandfather of a good friend lives in the USA….

  • My guy Steven, always enjoy his reviews, very informative as usual. I absolutely love gourmands and a mature, charismatic gourmand especially. Rum, leather, vanilla and caramel yes yes and yes… I love boozy fragrances any and everyday..

  • Just saw Steven’s review of Xerjoff Tony Iommi Monkey Special, and was pleasantly surprised as I have seen very few reviews of this fragrance. I could use another Italian fragrance for my fledgling collection. I’m a fan of Tommy’s guitar work and find it interesting that Xerjoff paired with him to create a scent. I read one viewer comment on Fragrantica that it had a hint of the nitrocellose finish of finer guitars in it’s DNA– I hope so, because it has a cotton candy vibe in many ways that is addictive. I anticipate a somewhat mysterious scent from this and being it is coming from Xerjoff’s known quality, I’m sure it will be captivating. Thank you to Steven at Redolessence for always keeping us updated on new and past fragrances that few of the other Chanels review.

  • Xerjoff Tony Iommi Monkey Special comes across as a gourmand-oriental creation in which vanilla and caramel play a major role. Steven says labdanum gives it an exotic touch and you also notice cinnamon throughout the composition. I am in US.

  • Highway Companion says:

So excited Steven reviewed this one! I really wanted to know the community’s thoughts and didn’t want to be biased on account of the name sake.

I’ll be driving two hours to a shop that has this and (other Xerjoff frags) in stock to try in person before considering a full bottle. This is too unique a fragrance to blind buy. Thanks for the review!

  • Glendon Studdard says:

After watching the video I want this fragrance even more.I love Xerjoff and having a great guitarists name associated with one of them is fantastic as I also grew up and love Black Sabbath as well.

  • Oswald johnson says:

This is my first time hearing about this one… I have yet to experience my first xerjoff fragrance, this one sounds like it smells amazing.

  • jaysmells says:

I loved to hear from Steven about the caramel being the first and most enduring note in this fragrance. While I’m personally a fan of the heavier notes like rum, cinnamon, and I’ve even seen people bring up leather for this fragrance, I notice that I receive the most head-turning reactions when the star is something delicious and gourmand like vanilla or caramel. I’d be eager to see how this wears on my skin and if the same notes shine in the way they do for Steven—it’s been a hit or miss experience for me and gourmands, but I imagine the booziness and spiciness of this lends itself to a huge success in my book. Thank you as always for such a generous giveaway, and from my absolute favorite house!!!

  • Steven is one of the best in the biz. I have a sample of this fragrance and his description is totally dead-on. I also feel like I am smelling it with a “new nose” now. His perspective really deepened my experience. Cheers from NC, USA!

Awesome review and super interesting scent! I love the house of Xerjoff. And, BONUS… Black Sabbath mixed with Xerjoff. Forget about it. Take my money!

  • IvanVelikov says:

The new hype train is coming i believe .
Tony Iommi Monkey Special is not only is inspired by one of the greatest guitar players ever, but also think it represents the passion, lust , and of lavish lifestyle on Tommy Iommi as a person.
Ideally balanced , multifaceted sweet, warm spicy fragrance , and it’s made by Xerjoff? Not to mention Steven said he truly loved the way it smells
Wow … the hype would be massive , Tony Iommi Monkey Special is special , and I believe I’d feel in good spirits while wearing it.
Like Michelyn told us , it’s all about craftsmanship for Sergio Momo, and for me too , I’m a tailor after all.
My favorite Xerjoff is Lira .

  • This sounds like a really interesting fragrance. Steven always does a good job of helping us get a feel for each fragrance he reviews. I hope to try it soon.

  • Enjoyed Steven’s review on this. Iommi monkey sounds like a nice sweet fragrance. Don’t think I’ve tried a fragrance with caramel in it. Nice looking bottle too. Thanks for the draw, ca

  • Cesar Abreu says:

Xerjoff is one of my favorite perfume brand and with this launch really “rocks”again! Patchouli and Spicy really gets the essence of the Black Sabbath band and my heart!!

  • Doc2SmellG8 says:

Awesome review. I liked his description making it a unique fragrance despite similarities of notes with some other popular picks.

  • Michael1980 says:

Very articulate description. I can imagine how it smells and I think wearing this cologne would change my life forever…

  • Absolutely loved Steven’s thoughts on this fragrance. Like him, I am so in love with the house of Xerjoff! The notes in Tony Iommi Monkey Special by Xerjoff are so interesting! I love sweet fragrances and looking at the notes (caramel, rum, cinnamon, tonka bean, vanilla…) I am just super excited to try it!

  • Andrei Artimon says:

My guy Steven, always enjoy his reviews, very informative as usual. I absolutely love gourmands and a mature, charismatic gourmand especially. Rum, leather, vanilla and caramel yes yes and yes… I love boozy fragrances any and everyday.

  • Michael powell says:

Can’t wait to try it and some others as well as your fragrance line and a few others I’ve seen reviewed. The notes in this sound very interesting

  • What I love about Steven’s review is that he delved deep into how the notes play together. He also mentioned how it performed on his skin, which is something that not every reviewer talks about.
And I also enjoyed that he thoroughly shows the packaging to give us the full experience of the gorgeous presentation of this bottle.

  • I’m a huge fan of labdanum and hearing Steven talk about that and the caramel together with the other notes such as cinnamon and rum makes me excited for this Xerjoff offering. Really, who does gourmands better than Xerjoff? In maryland.

  • “This fragrance still does things in its own way.” The fact that Steven used that phrase is very symbolic to Tony Iommi and Black Sabbath. Just like Black Sabbath, this fragrance blazes its own trail although using ingredients that most people know and love and create their own fragrance this isn’t like anything else. I’m a big patchouli lover and mixing that note with a caramel accord to give it some sweetness is very intriguing. I’ve had my eye on this fragrance for a while, and being a Xerjoff you know the quality of this fragrance is always top notch. Thank you Xerjoff for the opportunity to win this and thank you to Mr. Iommi for helping to create such a wonderful fragrance. Rock on!!!

  • I love sweet boozy fragrances. His description of the boozy, spicy notes that doesn’t overpower the sugary caramel sounds amazing. Thanks as always for the giveaway.

  • Bryan Castater says:

As always it was a great review by Stephen. It was a great description of the fragrance the breakdown of the notes and the comparisons to other fragrances. This is one that a lot of people of been talking about but it’s Stevens review and description that makes me really want this fragrance. Thank you for an opportunity to win a bottle.

  • Just heard about this fragrance today! I definitely want to try this one out! As always Steven’s description of the fragrance is so detailed and makes me very eager to smell this fragrance!

  • Steven’s review made me want to try this Fragrance. Xerjoff is a great Fragrance house. Love a boozy & Vanilla scent. Thank you for this Chance USA

  • jonah richmond says:

Super interesting sounding fragrance. The rum, vanilla, cinnamon combination sounds delicious. Great review as usual.

  • I enjoyed Steven’s breakdown of the scent and how the patchouli, caramel combo is great along with the rum here but also comparable fragrances. Ive heard good things about this before as well and the ambery backdrop Steven mentions sounds nice too. Thanks for the generous draw, from USA. Following on insta from @goldenish19 .

  • I enjoyed Steven’s review, especially how he described the sweet warm caramel note. I also liked the mention of a rum note. I follow @cafleurebonofficial. Mich USA @mary_luvs_flwrs Thanks for another wonderful draw and review.

  • Knightwingz68 says:

Definitely enjoyed Steven’s review. I am also a Black Sabbath fan, not to mention, a huge fan of gourmand fragrances, so this one has peaked my interest, and would love to be blessed, with a bottle!

  • thee_boy_wonder says:

I always love how Steven makes fragrance relatable. I can watch a video with confidence and know that he accurately describes a fragrance and can purchase a fragrance based on how informative he is.

  • I’ve been eyeing this one for a while and really appreciate Steven’s thorough review. It’s such an interesting mix of notes – also much different from what I would expect – but seems right up my alley. Gourmand with a twist… sounds incredible! Thank you for the info and the draw. From Chicago, U.S.

  • Great review from Steven as always. The notes in the fragrance give me goosebumps. I can’t imagine this not smelling fantastic

  • Ellen oliver says:

Great descriptive review as always..sounds like my type of fragrance..great combination of notes

  • petergigov says:

Learning about the Tony Iommi Monkey Special was such a pleasure , awesome job by Steven and Michelyn. The different facets set up by the perfumer are impressive.
The new Xerjoff is not one dimensional , there’s gourmand elements , rum , patchouli , and sensuality coming from the leather . Posh fragrance at its best. I need such perfumes in my collection.
I’d wear it on a date with classy lady, going out to a bar , such situations I think will suit Tony Iommi Monkey Special the best. I’ll look for samples. My expectations are beyond high
Out of all Xerjoff lines, my favorites are Casamorati Lira , Opera , Italica and Amabile.
    Overly exciting giveaway, USA

  • Scott Sirchio says:

So excited to get my nose on this fragrance. I cannot wait to smell what Xerjoff and Tony Iommi have created.

  • Another great in-depth review from Steven. I have a chance to smell this from a sample and got quite a similar impression on this new Xerjoff. Personally I’m not a big gourmand fan but I really love the rum and passion fruit opening of this. Totally agree that this would wear nicely in any seasons except high heat situation.

  • ScentsofMike says:

This sounds great. I really like how Steven described it as gourmand-ish with a dark mysterious vibe. All while being mass appealing and having niche quality. I would love a bottle. It also looks very cool.

  • So unique that this fragrance goes in all these directions. The layers of sweetness and spiciness sound so delicious! Interested in how the labdanum plays in the composition. Hope to try this out from the giveaway! I’m from the USA.

  • Scott Teague says:

  • I personally enjoy Stevens insight into the story behind the fragrance! Ive tried Naxos from the brand and I would love the opportunity to try even more in the future! I wish everyone good luck!

  • Efrain Gomez says:

I love the reviews and would love to afford these fragrances soon to add to the collection. I’ve gone a bit overboard collecting the last 8 months. The five in my family have now acquired all combined well over 200 fragrances of all price ranges.

  • This stuff smells fantastic. I got a sample the other day and let me tell you… compliment magnet . Ladies love it ! This is a must have for sure . You will not be disappointed.

  • Steven’s reviews as always is informative and detailed . He lead me to the right choice again with this one . Thanks again !

  • Denzel Barnes says:

I didn’t learn about the Xerjoff fragrance house until 2020! I’m big on fragrances and would like to see what this one is all about!

  • Alexander Rozakis-Siu says:

I think Steven could pretty much sell me any fragrance in the world. The way he talks about fragrances paints a picture in my head with all the notes. I have never tried any Xerjoff fragrances before but this seems like a good jumping off point.
    Good luck to all participants!

  • I like how Steven believes Monkey Special is a versatile fragrance which can easily be worn for 3 full seasons, considering it has a good amount of sweetness!

  • Steven always goes into so much detail with every review, and Iommi is no exception. I received a sample a few weeks back and it literally transported me back to Ozzfest 2003. This juice literally smells like rock-n-roll without it being skanky. Job well done!

  • Meowmomma says:

I am so excited Steven reviewed this one! I have been curious about it and i have come to trust Stevens opinion on fragrances over the years. My attention was captured by him mentioning boozy and the sweet notes that are in this fragrance. Thanks for the review and the draw!

  • First and foremost, I love how Steven is dressed to the NINES in this review; that tie is *chef’s kiss*. In truth, and I say this every time, Steven just always does such a solid job reviewing fragrances and he’s probably the most consistent and professional reviewer that I personally follow. As far as the Monkey Special goes, everything about this fragrance intrigues me. The name, the celebrity whom influenced the creation, the note breakdown (rum/passion fruit/caramel?!) and even the presentation all lend itself to catching my attention. I would love the opportunity to try this stunner out so thanks, as always, for the opportunity! Cheers from Illinois, USA!

  • I love how Steven describes the notes.. I’m a fan of complexity and balance. The caramel. Oh, and how he describes the cinnamon note’s sweetness being balanced out by rum accord. This sounds incredibly lovely.

  • I know they put a lot of thought into this one from the Metallic look, black color, and monkey faces. I am an orintal-spicy lower and really want to sniff this one.
Thanks, Steven and Cafleurebon for the opportunity! I am in the US.

  • I love Tony Iommi and Xerjoff so this must be amazing. Thanks for including the Dark Scent video. Xerjoff Nio is my favorite but Tony Iommi Monkey special sounds like it would be a great one too

  • Xerjoff Tony Iommi Monkey Special is such a great name! As a long time fan of Black Sabbath, I love it! And, after Steven’s review, I think I’d love the scent as well. His caveat about the possibility of the scent being too cloying in the summer makes perfect sense. I’d love to get my hands on this. I am in the US

  • Sascha Wittig says:

This is a very special Fragrance. It speaks Rock and Roll in every aspect. Sweet, dark, mysterious, earthy, floral. I am a hugh fan of those type of fragrance that is mysterious and inviting at the same time and i can see and smell clearly why this was made in collaboration of an Rock Legend.

  • Hope I win this!

Steve’s description of the gourmand aspect is what got me.

I love gourmands so I cant wait to smell the caramel, passion fruit and how the dark elements Steve described compliment each other.

  • As always I enjoyed reading Michelyn’s introduction and Steven’s video review of Xerjoff Tony Iommi Monkey Special. From the review, it seems to be a very balanced perfume, sweet and gourmand, but not in an immature way and may be used by both young and old alike. Caramel, patchouli, labdanum, sandalwood, musk sound lovely. I am a Redolessence subscriber and enjoy Steven’s in depth reviews. Thanks for the introduction, Michelyn, and Steven’s video review, and a very generous draw. From USA.

  • Jeff Upton says:

Tony Iommi is one of my favourite guitarists from one of my favourite bands, so to have him collaborate and make a fragrance with Xerjoff is really exciting for me.

  • I appreciate how Steven explains and describes each note in the fragrance and how they blend and work together or stand out.

  • GennyLeigh says:

Curious about the Tony Iommi collab. I never figured him for a fine fragrance guy. A rum soaked vanilla-leather-patchouli scent seems perfect. Steve does a great job describing it. MD, USA.

  • I haven’t smell any xerjoff fragrance yet, I’m very interested to get nio and naxos in decant to see what they offered. First thing that caught my attention in Tony Iommi Monkey Special is that beautiful bottle..also steven said can be one of the best releases, my intrigue is in a high level…..hopefully this will be my first xerjoff..

  • msnitechemist says:

I have to be honest, I was really surprised to see Tony Iommi’s name pop up on Cafleurebon (I used to be a music journalist with an emphasis on British music). While he’s obviously not the first musician to venture into fragrance, watching his video with Sergio Momo on his website was really cool because my impression of celebrity fragrances is that the celeb isn’t really involved in the process. Despite the initial communication issues, they got it figured out 😉 I love passion fruit so I’d love to smell it in concert with patchouli in a fragrance, and Steven had me at describing this one as mature sweet with boozy warmth, ha. The bottle is just wow. I’m a subscriber of Steven’s on YouTube, so I wasn’t sure how to show my subscription, if I need to? Thank you for the draw, I live in Maryland, USA.

  • This sounds like a great fragrance. Definitely something you wouldn’t expect from Tony Iommi!

  • touchofgenius2 says:

had my eye on this for awhile waiting for your review anxiously thanks again

  • I love dark fragrances, especially if they are well made. Thats why this is perfect since xerjoff has one of the highest quality on the market.

  • Oh my gosh, this sounds incredible! A boozy vanilla? YES! A combo of patchouli and caramel? Another resounding YES!!
I love Xerjoff for both their quality and longevity. I’d be thrilled to add this to my collection!

  • Oh my! I love Black Sabbath so much and fragrances are one of my most profound passions, I didn’t know these two things could be mixed.
This fragrances looks phenomenal, specially for the Rum accord and the boozy caramel.
I would love to try this myself.

  • realtyisme says:

Steven’s Youtube review is spot on. As a collector and an owner of several Xerjoff creations, I find Tony Iommi, Monkey Special to be one of my favorite acquisitions in recent months. What impressed me most is my oldest son’s thoughts about this fragrance. My son is a musician. When he tried this on, he instantly fell in love with it. He told me that it reminds him of the many times he and I had visited guitar shops. The leather note in this reminded him of the guitar cases. The sweetness and wood notes the guitars themselves, etc. I tried to purchase the limited edition of this fragrance but they were sold out.
Should I win this giveaway, I’d pass it on to my son, who would be so stoked to add to his collection. Thanks for the opportunity. USA

“In an interview I did in 2011, he told me: “Xerjoff is all about NATURE and ITALIAN CRAFTMANSHIP. ”

Not just Sergio Momo, but all Italians truly their country , cherish Italian culture, and are proud of their heritage, I love it.
I grew up in a family of old-school hip-hop lovers, I know Black Sabbath by name only, so Michelyn introduction was helpful to me, to sort of feel better the spirit of “Tony Iommi Monkey Special”.
When I think of it , I like everything about the fragrance, the passion fruit, the caramel , leather and especially the rum.
I have to sample Tony Iommi Monkey Special , no questions asked , provocative, flirtatious, I’m expecting greatness
The best Xerjoff fragrances in my opinion are Cruz del Sur II , followed by Golden Dallah , and then comes my old love Lira.
    Thank you the opportunity

  • Michael Prince says:

I loved Steven’s review of Xerjoff Tony Iommi Monkey Special. As usual, Steven is a brilliant, well spoken, and knowledgeable reviewer that really captured my interest about the Patchouli and Caramel combo along with Rum, Leather, and Vanilla which are all notes that I love. I also loved learning more about the brand Xerjoff that’s inception was in 2004 by creative director Sergio Momo. Tony Iommi is the legendary guitarist and co-founding member from the classic rock back Black Sabbath and is a personal friend to Sergio Momo. I loved Steven’s Review as well as learning more about the brand Xerjoff and this fragrance. I am from the USA.

  • Bryant Worley says:

I really appreciated how ‘Professor’ Gavrielatos showed, in his breakdown, how balanced the fragrance is, which is why he considers it to have very good versatility. He showed that while, overall, this is a unique fragrance, because other fragrances use similar raw materials, it will remind one of certain fragrances. But, unlike most other fragrances, he stated that the patchouli ‘carries the weight’ of the fragrance. I look forward to getting my nose on this in the near future.

I follow you on IG. My handle is @Brygantor_1. Also, I live in Waldorf, Maryland, USA.

  • I have been curious about this perfume! Have read many reviews and now after beautiful introduction of Michelyn and Steven’s interesting, detailed video-review I am intrigued more.

  • once Steven described this as a reminder to Mugler amen, I knew I wanted to try this fragrance. I love fragrances with the note of patchouli, but also gourmand style scents. add to this, I’ve been a huge iommi/sabbath fan for as long as I can remember. thank you for your giveaway opportunity.

  • Regis Monkton says:

I’d like to win this fragrance and add it to my collection of fragrances. It seems to have an interesting combination of notes, and I can like a lot of those notes. I like how Steven described this fragrance, e.g. when he said that the caramel is never immature. I live in the U.S.A. I follow Cafleurebon on Instagram from: @regismonkton

  • Uncle1979 says:

Through Tony Iommi Monkey Special people worldwide could learn about the Italy , and its rich culture , historical sightseeings , but also and the importance of Tony Iommi , and Black Sabbath for the whole heavy metal scene.
The best Casamorati, the best Xerjoff , and one of the best gourmands ever is called … Italica. Smells very, and I mean very similar to Toffee Almond Cake (traditional recipe) , famous Italian cake. I’m 99% sure the cake was the inspiration behind Italica.
I’m proud to be traditionally trained in Paris Pastry Chef, and it’s really rare for me to get impressed so much by gourmand fragrance, considering well over 80% of my big collection is comprised of gourmands , 221 to be precise. Italica is special, I really mean it , that’s why my expectations for Tony Iommi Monkey Special are so high, first thing I’d do when I sample the fragrance, is to compare it to Italica, and all other Xerjoff gourmand fragrances.
Steven take on the fragrance reminded me of one decadent dessert, I make on private orders only, Passion Fruit Caramel Cake , drizzled with Rum. Eating the cake, while sitting on a leather couch is what I’m thinking right now.
Appreciate Michelyn heavy metal introduction, and the giveaway campaign

  • I’m absolutely in love this fragrance house Xerjoff! I have 10 bottles so far and would love to add this one to my collection.

  • Come on guys, I’m on a strict diet.
Tony Iommi Monkey Special is a fragrance with a character, that has a lot of layers, patchouli caramel, rum and patchouli , and leather
    undertones .
I like non-linear artistic gourmands, something to be expected of all Xerjoff gourmands of course.
Of course I’ve heard Black Sabbath, and Tony Iommi, but since I don’t know much of heavy metal music , I like the way Michelyn filled us in . I now know not only about the fragrance, but how big of a name Tony Iommi actually is.
Naxos and La Capitale are my favorite Xerjoff beauties
    Thanks for the draw

Thanks for the informative review Steven.

It’s great to see that you consider this mass appealing without being commercial, which is what I assumed looking at the notes. I agree that this sounds like a fragrance that should not be worn in heavy/humid weather.

I loved the show of the presentation and the little note about the cap.

    Cheers from WI, USA

  • As usual Steven’s review was very detailed. He described Tony Iommi Monkey was a special gourmand kind of fragrance. Sounds like the spices in this fragrance give it a bit of a different scent profile than other gourmand. Per Steven, it is different but not necessarily unique.
    Maryland, US.

  • Based off the name of this fragrance, I had no idea what to expect, especially since attempting to conjure the scent of Black Sabbath could go lots of adventurous directions. I also haven’t tried any Xerjoff fragrances. Stephen did a great job of breaking down Tony Iommi Monkey Special, and the caramel, cinnamon, and rum accord opening on top of full-throated patchouli sounds wonderful. Thanks Stephen!

Italy , Oh Italy not just land of piazzas, castles , museums, cathedrals, spires and kind of wild , and passionate people , but also birthplace to such fragrance, and marketing geniuses like Sergio Momo.
Undeniably he loves guitar players, and rock , and metal music. Last year there was another Xerjoff collaboration called Save Me, with Queen’s Brian May , another legendary guitarist.
I have sampled Tony Iommi Monkey Special, like Steven said the fragrance goes is a few different directions, he basically described the way the fragrance smells on my girlfriend, but the way it goes on me , is very different, compared to what he is getting.
On my skin Tony Iommi Monkey Special is mostly earthy patchouli, a bit ruff and tumble leather, peppery rose and rum. Of course I get the caramel, the vanilla and tonka, but mostly in the drydown. In no point of time of the fragrance development I’d call it a gourmand, on me the sweeter notes are supportive, and not main players on the field.
The thing that really surprised me, is that not only Steven never mentioned it , but the rose is not even listed as official note?!? I can’t believe it, judging by how strong the rose is on my skin.
One last thing I’d like to add , I buy, and wear fragrances for my own pleasure only, but I have to admit I received 5 unsolicited compliments for the night I was wearing my sample, all from total strangers.
    My favorite Xerjoff is Mamluk
All profiles I already follow . Let’s not forget the man himself @joffmomo , @waltherp99bg

  • Steven’s review was fresh as always. I have never experienced a Xerjoff fragrance but the review of this scent sounds like something I would love..mainly the cinnamon accord along with the caramel base. Hopeful to try this soon, thanks!

Very informative review Steven! What I enjoyed about Steven’s YouTube review of Xerjoff Tony Iommi Monkey Special is learning that a fragrance created in partnership with heavy metal band Black Sabbath is paradoxically all about sugar and spice and everything nice. That is not what I would have expected at all! But the idea of a caramel and cinnamon fragrance with a dark edge sounds very lovely to me and I definitely will be making a point to try it.

I am following your new Instagram page @cafleruebonoffical and my Insta name is momo.liu.121. I live in the US.

  • Been a Tony Iommi and Black Sabbath fan forever. I would love to experience a fragrance that the “king of riffs” helped to create.
