Xerjoff Amabile Review (Chris Maurice) + Ripe Green Apples and Cardamom Draw

Xerjoff Amabile review

Xerjoff Amabile photo by Sebastian

Part of the brand’s V series (formerly Sospiro), which celebrates velvet, Xerjoff Amabile follows the path laid down by Xerjoff Accento and Urba Pura. From the brand, Xerjoff Amabile with its ingredients structure perfectly matches the style of its two predecessors; the opening is a treat, one is immediately set upon by an unexpected energy released by notes of green apples and Mediterranean fruits, which soon evolve into exotic notes of flowers and spices. Shortly following are the base notes with a classic style that harmoniously contrasts the initial olfactory pyramid with exotic woods, *green vanilla and white musk. Green vanilla is an innovative natural extraction of the not yet ripe vanilla pod, which releases sweet notes with green accents”.

Sebastian reviews Xerjoff Amabile a fresh ripe green apple fragrance where cardamom dominate, supported by citruses and vanilla.

  • Sounds like a great sent perfect for this time of year. Sebastian always does a great job with his detailed reviews

  • This fragrance sounds like all of my favorite notes in one perfume! I MUST get a sample of this. I love Sebastian — he’s so knowledgable. Thank you for the opportunity. USA

  • I definitely agree with Sebastian’s comment regarding the blast of cardamom along with that ripened apple note. But I’m a real cardamom lover in fragrances. I tested Amabile from luckyscents and I made the attempt at layering this with Layton by PDM. The result was okay but with the windy weather in NJ I grew to love this on its own, in the air it’s a completely different animal.

Phenomenal review from sebastian, very descriptive and knowledgeable every time, i love xerjoff fragances and i would love to add amabile to my collection , thx for the giveaway, good luck everyone

  • I like that Sebastian was really honest about Xerjoff Amabile. I love green apples mushy or crisp
Thanks I want to get my nose on this one

  • I am like Sebastian like to try all by myself, even though reviews help to start and directions. As person from city of apples, I would like to try Xerjoff Amabile, because I know the beauty of apples. Never tried Xerjoff previously. From CT, USA

  • MarkMarkMark678 says:

Once again another great review by Sebastian.

It’s really funny that he would review this fragrance right now because I just recently ordered three bottles from Xerjoff Universe, and this bottle was something I was very interested in. The bright color caught my eye and I thought this Hass to be one of the most gorgeous bottles I’ve seen in a while, but I found out that all of Xerjoffs bottles are gorgeous and their packaging is impeccable.

I didn’t end up picking this bottle because I felt like I needed to experience in the fragrances that they’re really well known for, so I picked up 40 knots, Naxos and Renaissance.
I ended up buying Alexandria two from another website.

I would absolutely love the chance to win this bottle because I had it in and out of my cart four times, and now that Sebastian is talking about it it just reignited my desire for it.

Even though he said it wasn’t his favorite from the house and that he would have preferred the cardamom to be swapped out for cinnamon it still sounds very bright and gorgeous to me.

Thanks for the opportunity Stacy if you have a blessed day.

  • Matthew Anderson says:

Another great review from Sebastian- and what an interesting description of a fragrance! I really enjoy hearing Sebastian speak about cardamom notes, as I am also a huge fan. Green apple notes can be hard to find in quality fragrances, and this sounds like a hit. Thanks! -Matt, NJ

  • Norcal_nose says:

Sebastian did a great job of describing Xerjoff Amabile as per usual. Green apple… yum! Thanks for the giveaway!

  • What a coincidence! I just finished wearing a sample of Amabile Xerjoff and now I see that Sebastian has a review up! I have heard opinions on this fragrance that range from love to disappointment. But I like this scent, on my skin it has a very pleasant lipstick smell in the base. I agree with Sebastian, maybe cinnamon would have made this scent better, but cardamom made it unique, that’s for sure!

  • I totally agree with Sebastian. I would be all over this fragrance if there was cinnamon instead of cardamom. I will definitely be sampling this one though, since I’ve been very into Xerjoff lately and hopefully I will get mostly apple and vanilla.

  • Mdellaroc says:

Although Sebastian didn’t seem to love it I am interested in a warmers citrus scent, which this may be.

  • Sounds like an interesting and unique fragrance. Would love to give it a try especially in late summer or early fall!

  • There is fruitiness there!… simply Xerjoff Amabile’s new combinations and the gorgeous Sebastian presentation makes me can not wait to smell and have it.

  • lilyjiang11 says:

Great review Sebastian! I love the cardamom not in fragrance, so I would love to get me nose on Amabile!

  • Tony Aiello says:

Very honest, straightforward review. Doundd interesting from one my favorite houses .

  • Congratulations for a great collaboration ith Sebastian! He describes the scents well

  • Congratulations for a great collaboration with Sebastian! He describes the scents well

  • Michael Bullock says:

Sebastian did a great review on these fragrance and it sounds really good with all these great notes.

  • Ken White says:

This sounds like exactly what I’m sniffing for. If love to win. Ken in New Jersey, USA.

  • Love all of Sebastian’s reviews! He has helped me understand notes and learn so much about fragrance as a whole. This review got me really excited about xerjoff amabile! Green apple is my favorite Note buts its hard to make it shine, I feel this formulation is going to be a winner!!!

  • I liked Sebastian’s Youtube review of Amabile because it was honest and detailed. He doesn’t just give in to the Xerjoff hype and say he loves it, but he doesn’t just say, “I don’t like it”. Rather, he says specifically WHY it doesn’t quite work for him, but then he makes sure to add that this is just his opinion. Perfume is a subjective experience, after all, which is one of the things that I love so much about my new hobby. I am new to this fragrance obsession and Xerjoff was one of the first houses that I became interested in. I’ve sampled four so far, but I want to try them ALL!

  • Ashley Lopatka says:

Love this line from xerjoff and would love to add this gorgeous bottle to my collection.

  • Sébastien does great, honest, straightforward reviews. He’s one of my favorites to watch. Has peaked my interest in this fragrance and fragrance house. Will be looking to add in my collection

  • Mercedes Roberts says:

Appreciated the review. Definitely, curious the bites sound right up my alley.

  • IvanVelikov says:

Sweet ripe green apple , vanilla, cardamom , and made by Xerjoff?
Amabile sounds awesome, both carefree and posh , playful , and I believe I’d feel in good spirits while wearing it
Because of Dana review of Dolce Amalfi i ordered a sample , and was testing it last few days. Now i definitely want to try Amabile too , and of course… finally the new hype train Italica.
I still can’t find samples through… I mean in US.
Europerfumes please bring it to US as fast as possible.
For going out , and personal satisfaction I’m happy to have have Lira , my favorite Xerjoff, up until now. Dolce Amalfi now is my second favorite, and my third favorite is Cavour I .
Another beautiful giveaway , thanks a lot.

Great review! I can really imagine what it smells like with his description. Now I want a bottle haha.

  • GennyLeigh says:

Great review Sebastian and I’m also intrigued by the cardamom and green apple combination. This sounds like a wonderfully green spring fragrance. The bottle is lovely! Commenting from MD, USA.

  • Frank Clemon Jr says:

Sebastian’s reviews are always top notch.
I think that this sounds very interesting, I would love to have this in my collection.

  • Yana Vaysberg says:

Great review! Green apple is one of my favorite notes in perfumes, I’m very curious to try this one .

  • The cardamom, apple and vanilla notes sound like a delightful scent to wear during these chilly spring days. I would definitely rock this fragrance. Thanks for another great review, Sebastian. Mich USA

  • I’ve been looking for new fragrances for the summer and it sounds like I should give this a try.

  • Just got my sample of this from Luckyscent a few days ago – having been wearing it all this week! I just love it but can’t decide if the dry down is too masculine for me. Kind of don’t care either way!

The second I got my sample I looked to see if Sebastian had a review – this is is a wonderful timing and a sign I need this in my small collection

  • Julie Rose says:

I love apples and cardamom bit haven’t ever worn a fragrance with either! Hmmmm. In the US

  • I’m very intrigued by this fragrance based on Sebastian’s review. I’m attracted to the idea of green apples, but interested in how it combines with cardamom as opposed to the perhaps more predictable cinnamon. Maybe sharper, fresher, more warm weather appropriate? Also, “green vanilla” — I need to know! Thank you for the giveaway. From Chicago, IL

  • I was hoping that it worked for him. Apparently it didn’t so I am hoping that it works for me. I fell in love with green apple when I first smelled Dolce and Gabbana light blue!

  • Apple is a note that’ll always catch my attention, and the bottle, as usual for Xerjoff, looks like it’s to die for. After hearing the description and seeing the other notes, I’ll seems like I’ll have to find a way to try this out one way or another. MD-US

  • Tara Gardner says:

Beautiful bottle and the notes sound unique, I can’t wait to experience it. Love your videos i fall asleep listening often.

  • Bryant Worley says:

I really appreciated Sebastian’s review, because he’s a ”no-nonsense, keep-it-real’ reviewer. He told us why the fragrance was good, and he told us (IHHO) why the fragrance wasn’t good (to him). To me, once you say “apple”, I’m all the way in. And I agree with him, as I think cinnamon would have been a better wear in this fragrance. But, this is one I want to get my hand on.

I live in Waldorf, Maryland, USA.

  • Good review by Sebastian. Very descriptive and informative. I was interested more about the note of apple in particular. Sebastian did a good job describing it. I love the smell of green apples in real life, so I have been very intrigued about this perfume out, but I’ve never had the opportunity to smell it. Thank you s Sebastian.

  • amorphousface says:

I like when Sebastian talks about how he experiences a perfume which he did here. That way if I win the bottle I can feel like I won and experience as opposed to a chattel.

  • Sounds like a very bright and lovely fragrance based on the presentation and notes. Would definitely like to try it as i have never sampled a Xerjoff fragrance ever but i do like the name so much I made it my email address. Lol. Great Sebastian, you always do a fantastic job as usual.

  • Niña Bond says:

I liked Sebastian’s review because he talked about how he experienced the perfume. If I win it would be like winning an experience and not just a chattel.

  • Andrei Artimon says:

Really love the house and fruity fragrances , apple being one of my favourite fruit , hope to be on the winning wnd of this one , new york , usa .

  • Tika Bordelon says:

I discovered Sebastian’s youtube channel late last year and I love watching his videos. He always seems to leave a very honest, personal review which is exactly what the world needs right now. Amabile sounds like a very interesting fragrance!

  • Francisco Diaz says:

Sounds like one worth trying. I’m always looking for something different. Sebastian has a good way of breaking down and explaining the freagrance.

  • I thought Sebastian’s review was very good and very detailed. I cannot wait to smell this fragrance. I love Xerjoff!!

  • Liked Sebastian describing it as a sweet spicy fruity fragrance. Cardamom is a favorite note of mine, so the fresh spicy appealed to me. Interesting that he seemed to get a coffee vibe from it. Live in California.

  • Please consider this comment for the giveaway.
I thought Sebastian’s was very honest and I appreciated it. It didn’t feel like a sales pitch, he named the good and the bad. I’d like to win a bottle because I’d really like to smell how they blended apple and cardamom together.

  • I like Sebastions imagery when he reviews, he is very descriptive and can tie scents and accords to things I can relate to. For things I can’t imagine immediately he does a great job to paint pictures of. I am interested in how cardamomy this fragrance is, I haven’t smelled a fresh spicy fragrance and I want to try

  • As always, I love Sebastian’s detail that he puts into his reviews. Would love to try the beautiful Amabile, fingers crossed!

  • Will45591 says:

I enjoyed Sebastian’s video review of Xejoff Amabile, did a wonderful job of describing the fragrance and caught my interest into trying this scent for the Spring and Summer. A crisp apple fragrance sounds just like what I’ve been looking for this time of year.

  • elizabetht says:

I like the depth of his explanations of the ingredients! Cardamom is one of my favorite notes. Even if it isn’t Sebastian’s favorite Xerjoff, it might be mine 🙂 Thanks so much for the opportunity!

  • I enjoyed Sebastians review and as always his honesty as well about this not being a favorite Xerjoff for him and that he’d have rather experienced cinnamon as opposed to cardamom. Still, Amabile sounds really nice to me. Just showing again how subjective fragrances can be I recently saw another review that barely mentioned the cardamom or vanilla and mainly got the green apple some citrus and prominent white musk as well, but both reviews did say excellent performance. So if my experience is a combination of the two reviews that would be ideal! Also thanks for the info about green vanilla in the intro I found that to be interesting and useful information. Thanks for the very generous draw, from CT USA.

  • markmsingu says:

Always love Sebastians unbiased reviews, you can always tell from the videos when Sebastian likes the perfumes, he has that smile and air of excitement as he starts… Anyway, best perfume review channel hands down. Apples and cardamom doesn’t sound so bad, would love to try this.

  • Shaun Parkin says:

I always appreciate and enjoy Sebastian’s reviews and this one is no exception. Amabile sounds like an interesting fragrance and one I’m interested in sampling!

  • forrestanez says:

Sebastian is always great at describing fragrances and this seems to be no exception. I love that he lets you know what kind of fruit and spices to expect and when to expect them. I am a cardamom and apple note junkie, so this sounds delightful!

  • Sebastian’s review was very honest and informative. I feel as if I could smell the scent through my screen. I would love to have the amazing scent in my collection.

  • Derek Bedinghaus says:

I really love how Sebastian breaks everything down & throws in what he thought would have made the fragrance better. This definitely sounds like one to try for apple lovers.

  • emorandeira says:

Great review! I really want to try the perfume. The combo Apple and vanilla is one of my favourites!

  • As always very detailed and inspiring video.
As for me this scent description sounds pretty interesting to try, i would love to have something new and unique in my collection. Never had any fragrance similar to this, hope to get a chance to win. thank you and can’t wait for new videos !

  • Andrea Bursey says:

Sebastian’s reviews are always so information. I love the way he adds in images of the fragrance notes. He is my go-to guy for fragrance reviews.

  • Green is my spirit fragrance! I love Xerjoff and Sebastian is so down to earth, knowledgeable and trustworthy with his opinions. Would be thrilled to death to win!

  • I very much appreciate Sebastian’s honesty when it comes to fragrance reviews. Knowing that Xerjoff is one of his favorite houses and still able to let us know that Amabile is not his favorite from the house. That being said, I still feel like this would appeal to me as I just love the smell of cardamom and vanilla which are both players in Amabile. My favorite from Xerjoff (discovered from sebastian’s YouTube channel 🙂 ) are Naxos and “More Than Words”. I’m in USA

  • Great review, he is always informative! I’m so interested to smell the cardamom in this. The bottle is gorgeous too!

  • I like apple as a note but it seems rare. I’d like to experience apple with the cardamom. US

  • Maria Cortese says:

I love sebastians reviews because he explains scents so well, I felt like I could taste the fragrance. From the start tart apple taste to it evolving into the warm cardoman and into the Mexican vanilla with the patchouli and the musk
    Delicious!

  • Loved the description,, could almost smell the fragrance through his description, given the heavy on apples and cardamom… I do agree about the cinnamon too, little warmer spice may be nice..
Would love to try this either way.
    All the best!

  • Chris Paulsen says:

Would love to be entered! Sounds right up my alley. Very interesting bottle color too.

  • Michael Werno says:

I appreciated Sebastian’s honest and thorough review. Even though it didn’t work for him, I’m still really intrigued by the way the apple and cardamom combination.

  • Since it is in the same vein as Erba Pura which I know to be quite fruity, I am not surprised that Amabile is also fruity composition. The color of the bottle also hints at this. I am in US

  • Great Review. I’m a fan of all the notes and would love to get my nose on this bad boy

  • pinkshaman84 says:

The fragrance seems delicious!!! I love all the notes in it and I love how Sebastian always reviews fragrances! He’s one of my favs! the bottle is stunning too! thank you guys!!! Also loved the review!

  • I enjoyed Sebastian’s honesty and his description of note predominance. As a fan of cardamom, I am so grateful that cinnamon is not here to overshadow the other notes. Thanks for the opportunity. I enjoy Accento and would be excited to try Amabile as well. KY, USA.

  • Xerjoff Amabile seems very intriguing. The green apple note makes me very curious about this fragrance. I’ve always heard about Xerjoff but never bought a bottle. Looking forward to digging deeper into this line of fragrance.

  • Jacqueline Edwards says:

This sounds absolutlely amazing ..can’t wait to get my nose on this fragrance

  • redwheelbarrow says:

Cardamom and apple sound like such a great combo! I love Sebastian’s reviews and energy. I love Xerjoff but haven’t had the chance to sample this one and it sounds perfect for spring. Thanks for the draw. I’m in the US

  • LightOfJoy says:

Thank you for your review, Sebastian. I love green apple accords and I wouldn’t be opposed to them being paired with cardamom. It sounds fresher than with cinnamon and a more appropriate spring combination. Even if, as Sebastian indicated, it’s not a sharp crisp apple, it sounds like a very interesting scent!

    Texas, USA

  • Calvin Harris says:

Love Sebastián video very informational like always. Thanks for the opportunity to win!

  • I always enjoy Sebastians review despite our differences in taste. Unlike Sebastian I’d actually prefer the cardamom over cinnamon as I feel it’s been done so many times before. As usual he’s captured the essence of the experience. As a big apple note fan I’m excited to sample this gem. I’m in the US, MN.

  • Gruffalodin says:

Have no idea what to expect based on Sebastian’s description but a sweet apple infused with vanilla and Cardamom does sound interesting in spite of the vocalized reservation. I love Nio and Alexandria II from this house, maker of high quality and versatile niche perfumes.

  • Informative review as usual, the bottle looks gorgeous, super interested in trying one.

  • kramerongo says:

Firstly its very nice looking bottle and its fruity fragrance apple + vanille + cardamom and musk to it. will make great spring frag. I love to wear it this spring and summer. I am in CA USA

  • I always appreciate Sebastian’s honesty when reviewing scents. While he said it didn’t work for him, I love the notes and think this would probably smell better on a woman. I love that drydown of Mexican vanilla, musk and patchouli.

  • I love Sebastian’s reviews! This perfume sounds perfect for warm weather. I love cardamom.
My favorite from Xerjoff is Alexandria 2.

  • chrisskins says:

Xerjoff Amabile sounds like an apple /cardamon explosion, love it or hate it perfume. Although Sebastian would like to swap the cardamon for cinnamon, I’m still curious about what makes this fragrance tick. And I agree that the bottle is awesome. I live in NY.

  • Sebastian’s view was honest, thorough, and unbiased. I enjoy his videos due to the plethora of knowledge he exuberantes.

  • Sebastian’s view was honest, thorough, and unbiased. I enjoy his videos due to the plethora of knowledge he has regarding fragrances and notes.

Always love Sebastian’s reviews and this was no exception. This sounds like a real winner. Apples and cardamon…yay! Many thanks to Europerfumes/Eden Square for making this draw possible. I’m in the USA

First off I am so in love with this bottle, this green is my favorite color! Plus velvet! Yes please. Loved how Sebastian described it, and from his take on it I think his idea of cinnamon instead of the cardamom may be a great idea! I would love a crisp apple with cinnamon smell. This one sounds intriguing to me still, I like how the opening seems refreshing and then those base notes I love! NY, USA!

  • As usual Sebastian’s review is very insightful. The fragrance Xerjoff Amabile sounds amazing. Green apples, spices, Mediterranean fruits, and to a vanilla musk. This is a very approachable fragrance.Definitely looking forward to smelling this fragrance.

  • Sebastian was very detail as usual, I was hoping for some comparison to other fragrances so I have some idea how this smell, maybe I missed it. Would love to try this out so I can be even fruitier.

  • Thank you Cafleurebon for sponsoring this giveaway. Sebastian was wonderful for inserting pictures of each note to give an idea to those who are not familiar like myself. I also enjoyed how he explained how the apple, cardamom, and vanilla combined with each other. This seems like is going to be a wonderful spring scent leading into the summer.

  • I was intrigued by notes of Amabile! Personally I love desert like, gourmands and find them deliciously beautiful. I very much appreciated how Sebastian was honest with the cardamom note and gave us his personal take, on a different idea of how cinnamon in replacement for cardamom, would be something interesting to delve into. Nevertheless I adore all the notes of the fragrance. From the fruity citrus’s in the top, pink pepper and jasmine in the middle, and to finish it off vanilla and musk in the bottom. This beautiful fruity oriental scent aligns perfectly with all my loves for fragrance, and I would be delighted to receive a bottle!

  • wallygator88 says:

Thanks for the great review Sebastian. Honest as always. I rarely see him being tough on a Xerjoff and this one was a harder review. I truly enjoy the scent of green cardamom and can understand how it can easily overwhelm the nose.

    Cheers from WI, USA

  • Quality with Xerjoff fragrances is through the roof , and Amabile is no exception.
Nio ,Agusta , Golden Dallah , Accento Overdose and Amabile i sampled lately, and personally I don’t think Amabile is not as sweet, as Sebastian said it is. Of course there’s some sweetness, but gourmand? I don’t believe so , to me it’s tart and juicy, and spicy.
The opening is mouthwatering, one of the best openings I’ve smelled. Amabile is now is my top 3 Xerjoff fragrances, number one still being Mefisto.
Exquisite draw , thanks Sebastian, and Europerfumes

Amabile sounds… fun and happy. We all need such uplifting fragrances in our lives. Gourmand parts of the fragrance are actually appealing to me. Summer nights, on a walk with classy lady, such situations I think will suit Amabile the best.
Untouchables and Eliot Ness I’m thinking every time I’m wearing Xerjoff fragrance.
I like so many , my favorites are Lira and Opera. Italica anf Amabile are now first on my wish list.
    Overly exciting giveaway, USA

  • I appreciated learning about this fragrance which I haven’t tried yet, and I’m not sure if I’d heard of it before having watched this video. I appreciated learning more about cardamom and how it gives a different effect than cinnamon does. I hope that I win the giveaway draw; I live in MD., U.S.A. I’m a subscriber to Sebastian’s channel.

  • First off, the bottle is beautiful. It looks like spring 🙂 I am curious how the apple will play with the cardamom and Mexican vanilla. I also think of green apple, as a note, being tart or slightly bitter. The review made me curious. It will be interesting to try out a ripe/different green apple note in perfume.

Thanks for the draw! Glad this was reviewed. Definitely interested.

  • Always love Sebastian’s reviews for their down to earth user-friendly feel and honest and clear descriptions. Though I like oriental spicy perfumes, I am not much into gourmand, sweet dessert like perfumes. Despite Xerjoff’s great reputation, and Chris Maurice as the perfumer, and the exquisite bottle, I will have to sample Xerjoff Amabile first, or be lucky enough to win this draw before thinking of buying it for $300. Thanks for the generous draw and review. Writing from the USA.

  • It sounds like an intriguing combination of notes. The distinction Sebastian made between the “fresh spice” of cardamom and the “warm spice” of cinnamon was illuminating. I enjoy getting these types of insider tidbits from Perfume experts.

  • Sherin Thomas says:

Love the apple note with cardamom and I agree that cinnamon would have been a nice combination . Love to win this giveaway

  • roxhas1cat says:

I want a big blast of apple!! Love that bottle. Interesting that Sebastian would prefer cinnamon. I think the cardamom spice is not used as much in the US and we associate apple with cinnamon. I wonder if people in Scandinavia would think differently. I love everything I have tried from the Casamorati line. I’ve tried only a few from the Xerjoff, I do like Golden Dallah. Thanks for the chance. USA.

  • Interesting video. I love Sebastian — he’s so knowledgable.
This perfume sound amazing- just for coming warms day. It is interesting apple and cordamom.

  • Sebastian always gives great reviews and this one was no exception! He gave great insight as to what we can expect inside of this beautiful lime green velvet bottle. I would love to try it after watching!

  • bunncheese says:

I didn’t think it was a glowing review but definitely interested in smelling the fragrance. He normally loves everything from that house so we will see.

  • WaltherP99 says:

I know Amabile, I’ve sampled it , and Sebastian review surprised me a bit. I follow him for a long time, since he’s early YouTube days, and I think he has a sweet tooth. My body chemistry could be the difference, but I don’t get the dessert comparison. Green apples, citruses, clean jasmine , in the base it’s musky, woody with vanilla. On my skin vanilla is supportive, and not a dominant note. Beautiful fragrance.
Also the previously known as Sospiro, now Velvet Collection DNA is present, parts of Amabile reminds me of Accento and Erba Pura.
If possible can you also review the 2 from the charity Spray to Help line , 1986 ( money are going to a Cancer research program) , Save me (building shelters and vaccination for , stray dogs ) , the two are almost impossible to sample.

  • Amabile is new to me , sounds delicious
Fragrance with a caracter, that has a lot of layers, fruity, floral , leaning gourmand. Something to be expected of all Xerjoff fragrance.

Thank you for the opportunity, and to Sebastian

  • The opening with green apples and Mediterranean fruits sound nice and juicy. Also like that it has cardamom. Nice looking bottle
Enjoyed the review by Sebastian. Thanks for the draw, Ca

  • One of my the first niche purchases was Lira early 2012. Good old days, when niche world was unknown to me. To this day I consider Xerjoff top 5 niche brands ever, very few people would deny that I believe.
Amabile attracts me with the ripe apple , the cardamom and the special “not yet ripe” vanilla. Sweet spicy fruityness, long lasting goodness, here i come .
The best Xerjoff fragrances are Cruz del Sur II , followed by Golden Dallah and then comes my old love Lira.
Thank you Sebastian, Cafleurebon and Europerfumes

  • What we got here? Granny Smith ripe apple, cardamom, vanilla , you’re on my turf now.
Sebastian take on Amabile instantly reminded me of traditional Swedish Apple Cake , containing all 3. Sautéing the Granny Smith apples is preferable, and as Pastry Chef my advice is always grind yourself the cardamom.
Honestly Amabile sounds fantastic, and to me Xerjoff took the right decision to use cardamom, instead of cinnamon. I love cooking with , and smelling both , but there are way too many Granny Smith+Cinnamon fragrances on the market, and Xerjoff is definitely not a copycat brand. New , different and creative is their moto.
I expect it to be on pair, or at least almost on pair with Italica , again made by Xerjoff, one of the best , and most realistically smelling gourmands ever.
Appreciate Sebastian review, and the giveaway campaign

  • Corbin McCord says:

I thought he did a good review, and the description of the fragrance definitely intrigued me. I did find it surprising he would have preferred cinnamon. I think there’s a lot of Apple-Cinnamon fragrances out there already, so the use of cardamom sounds better to me from a uniqueness standpoint. Still a great review, very descriptive, and it made me want to try this fragrance.

  • Kassandra says:

Sebastian’s description is really interesting. Green apple sweetness with cardamom and vanilla, and he said it is almost soapy from the cardamom. It sounds incredibly unique!

  • Dywanne Smith says:

I thought his review of the fragrance was fair, but I would like to smell it for myself to form my own opinion.
