Top 10 Halloween Perfumes + Spooky and Sweet Giveaways (Part 2)

Best Halloween Perfumes 2022

Halloween is only a few days away (October 31st). For Part 2 of our Top 10 Halloween perfumes, we get into the spirit with five spooky and sweet scents that are all treats and no tricks.

Steven Gavrielatos of Redolessence and Michelyn Camen, Editor-in-Chief of CaFleureBon co-curated the Top 10 Halloween Perfumes. We give you Part 2, (be sure to check out Part 1 here).

Prada Candy (Daniela Andrier): Is there a better name for a Halloween perfume than “candy”? Prada Candy made our top 10 best perfumes for Halloween, because it is pure scented pleasure. Michelyn bought her first bottle in 2011 and it smells as scrumptious as it did 11 years ago (there are many niche perfumes that have been influenced or copied, not naming names) by this great gourmand with notes of vanilla, musk, honey and caramel.

Roja Parfums Sweetie Aoud (Roja Dove): On October 22, 2018, I met Roja Dove at Bergdorf Goodman’s in NYC. After our discussion, I browsed the counter and noticed Sweetie Aoud (I thought “what a strange name”). But when I smelled it, I said “ooh la la”  because it took me back in time to Paris (yes to that same café I met Jacques). Roja Dove’s twist on gourmand perfume has a patisserie accord, delicious with a buttery tone that blends beautifully with oud. -Michelyn

Initio Parfums Prives Mystic Experience (Hamid Merati-Kashani): Let’s go to Mexico for the Day of The Dead celebration, known as Día de Muertos, when the veil between the living and dead are blurred.  Candles are lit on each family’s ofrenda (altar built to honor the ancestors) which are laden with many traditional foods, pan de muerto, sweets and flowers.  Some believe that in the afterlife only the sense of smell survives and the spirit can only be guided by strong aromas. Mystic Experience with its heady notes of musk, vanilla and strong coffee is the fragrance I imagine wearing. Michelyn

Azman Perfumes Killer Vavoom (Miguel Matos): Imagine you are at a Halloween party and someone dressed up as a vampire asks you to dance. Their hypnotic eyes mesmerize you and their lips whisper words drenched in honey as they hold you in a  musky leather embrace. You have had a bit to drink, so your guard is down and after the dance you leave the party with a stranger with fangs holding a blood red rose. Where are you going? You don’t care…you are under the spell of Azman Killer Vavoom. -Michelyn

Beach Geeza Cocoa Moon (2022): Each year, American indie perfumer Ryan Hunts reformulates, tweaking here and there, the proportions of this limited edition cacao laden delight (cacao are bitter sweet roasted chocolate beans). There’s cocoanut and the scent of the tropics here but this is not a liquified Mounds bar; think of it as a haunting off the island of Roatan Honduras, as shadows are cast by the Cacao Trees as the sun sets. Launching today!!! October 27, 2022 and only available for a limited time-Michelyn

That initio fragrance sounds Amazing and I would love to have it in my collection. Thank you for the opportunity

  • Please count me in for the Azman. I am curious about this house since I first read about it here, on Cafleurebon, but never got the chance to actually try it.

First time commenting here, but I gotta say, great reviews from both Michelyn and Steven!
I know very little about the Initio Parfums Prives brand as a whole, but I’ve been told more and more to check them out. Michelyn did a fantastic job painting a picture of the fragrance before she ever even got to the notes! As far as the entire list goes, I’m a coffee fiend (and lover of all scents with prominent coffee notes), so Mystic Experience sounds like my kind of scent. Gimme all those dark and mysterious vibes!
I also particularly enjoyed Steven’s info on the perfumer behind the scent, Hamid Merati-Kashani. Knowing he’s the mind behind some of the best Layton scents gives me a lot of confidence that Mystic Experience is a big win, especially if some (like Steven) consider it to be underrated!
It shouldn’t be a surprise that I’m definitely interested in Initio Parfums Prives Mystic Experience if I win. Warm wishes from Ontario, Canada!

  • Brian.Bolin says:

Seems only fitting it’s Halloween esque! Mychelins review did have me wanting to try killer vavoom with the description of a bloody rose haha! Steven did an amazing job showcasing these gems and only makes me want to try them more.

  • I love both Steven and Michelyn and it was a pleasure reading and watching this amazing selection for this special ocassion.
I love halloween and I love combining my fragrance with my custome in this time of the year. For me, spooky fragrance surely have to contain woody notes and something sweet, thats why I love this selection, being Mystic Experience the one I am eager to try the most.

  • Michelyn says Initio Parfums Prives Mystic Experience pays tribute to the festival of the dead that is celebrated in Mexico and this makes it a great choice for the Halloween season. Steven says patchouli plays a prominent role in it and it is a great cold weather scent. My choice is Initio Mystic Experience. I am in US.

  • ianbradleyandrews says:

I loved michelyns story about Paris. The cafe story is hilarious. Steven always does a great job describing every aspect of perfumes in his review. I would love to try the initio perfume. I live in Indiana.

  • Thank you both Steven and Michelyn for your reviews. I’d be really excited to try Beach Geeza, Cocoa Moon. Curious about the “flirty” and “haunting” chocolate note. I’m in California.

  • Miguel Matos possesses the bouldness and creativity to pull out exceptional and magic from a perfume, i ‘m very very curious about Azman’s Killer Vavoom, thanks from EU

  • Both Steven and Michelyn made me swoon over Killer Vavoom. It sounds so seductive, cozy and fascinating with its musk, rose, chocolate and iris… plus the little vampire story is totally intriguing
Would love to win that, If I had a chance!
    EU.

  • forrestanez says:

This is quite a list for sure…none pof which have tried. Mystic experience is by far the intriguing. USA.

  • Wow very intrigued to learn spirits are lured rather guided by strong smells! Based on both Steven’s and Michelyn’s description of initio, sounds like a great fit and I haven’t had the opportunity to try so would love to get my hands on it based in USA

  • Oh these all sound amazing. I like how Michelyn writes a story behind the experience of the perfume and Steven goes into details about the perfume and makers. This site always keeps the perfume treasure hunt active!
I would be most excited to receive a Beach Geeza Cocoa Moon blend by Ryan Hunts!
    OpalBear California

  • Dancing with a vampire in black leather with a bloody rose so Halloween sexy.
Very Twighlight and sexy. I will love Killer VaVoom
Michelyn is so creative and Steven very informative USA

  • From Michelyn’s notes I enjoyed reading of her meeting Roja Dove. The video had me get interested in Sweetie Aoud. For the draw I choose Cocoa Moon. US

  • dpassno18@gmail.com says:

    I’m in the US
Love both the article and video and how they describe the scents notes and the back story of them. I have never heard of the Mystic Experience but being someone of Latin descent the idea of capturing the ofrenda in a scent calls to me like never before. So unique

  • Imagine you are at a Halloween party and someone dressed up as a vampire asks you to dance. I would love to win If I am lucky. Thanks a million from the United Kingdom

  • Michael Reed says:

I’d really like to get my nose on Cocoa Moon, sounds delicious.

Loved the written descriptions, almost poetic – “Their hypnotic eyes mesmerize you and their lips whisper words drenched in honey as they hold you in a musky leather embrace.” Really takes you on a journey.

Stevens reviews are more based on the notes and scents, rather than how it transports you.

    Location – Seattle Wa, area.

  • The Initio fragrance sounds amazing and I would love to add it to my collection. I’ve not smelled anything bad from Initio. New Jersey, USA

  • I love it how perfume can transport us to a different time and place. I enjoyed reading about Michelyn’s memories and her wild imagination. Steven mentioned that Killer Vavoom is a chocolate and plum experience by Miguel Matos. I’m a fan. If lucky, I’d choose Killer Vavoom or Mystic Experience. Happy Halloween! Mich USA

  • Michelyn’s review of Killer Vavoom is hypnotic just like a vampire holding a blood red rose. Steven’s review of Killer Vavoom mentioned that it was exceptionally long lasting which I’m excited for. The chocolate and plum notes sound perfect for Halloween. Based in the UK.

  • All of these sound wonderful, but I really would like to try Cocao Moon by Beach Geeza. I loved what Michelyn wrote “…think of it as a haunting off the island of Roatan Honduras, as shadows are cast by the Cacao Trees as the sun sets.” I want to experience this! And what Steve said about it being sensual and playful, with chocolate in the forefront only made me want it more.

  • I remember that Michelyn had an allergy to chocolate when she was younger and is now a fan of gourmand fragrances. It’s fitting she and Steve chose gourmand fragrances featuring cacao, vanilla, honey, coffee and caramel. Steve always brings such an enthusiasm to his very detailed reviews. I would love to win a bottle of Initio Parfums Prives Mystic Experience. My brother-in-law is of Mexican descent and he introduced me to some of the Dia de Muertos traditions. MD, USA.

  • I was so waiting for Part 2 of the Halloween fragrances from Michelyn and Steven
☆ Prada Candy , one of my moms favorite fragrances
    ☆Roja Parfums Sweetie Aoud
Since I’m a traditionally trained in Paris Pastry Chef, I can’t help but being heads over heals about Sweetie Aoud , fragrance made to mimic the smell of French Pastry Shop, and particularly freshly baked croissants . My favorite Roja Dove fragrance
☆ Initio Parfums Prives Mystic Experience. There are two Initio Parfums I know now , and really like, Oud for Happiness, and Side Effect.Mystic Experience i will try because of the comparison Michelyn made with Pan de Muerto . The recipes vary from each other, traditionally should be yeast-heavy bread flavored with orange and/or anise , but every recipe differs , some use sesame seeds, sprinkles, or you could just simply brushed with an egg wash.
    ☆ Azman Perfumes Killer Vavoom
It’s interesting how Michelyn and Steven opinion differ from each other. Michelyn thinks it’s more musky and leathery, with honey, but Steven thinks it’s more like chocolate fragrance , with leather and plum
☆ Beach Geeza Cocoa Moon , making Chocolate Ganache Cake and later sharing it with friends somewhere on the island of Roatan Honduras
I’ll be happy to win Azman Perfumes Killer Vavoom
Appreciate all the culinary references Michelyn made , all of your reviews, and the giveaway campaign

  • I loved reading Michelyn’s description of Azman Perfumes Vavoom – must be quite a seductive perfume that one would be willing to go out with a vampire 🙂 Steven always does a beautiful job of describing the perfumes in his videos. I am a Redolessence subscriber and like the way he gives honest reviews of perfumes. One thing that struck me was that the perfumer behind Initio Parfums Prives Mystic Experience us the same as the one behind Parfums de Marly Layton Exclusif, which is a favorite of mine. So while all these perfumes are wonderful, if I were to win this draw, I would choose Initio Parfums Prives Mystic Experience. Thanks Michelyn and Steven for your wonderful work telling us about these perfumes. I’m from the USA.

  • I loved all of Michelyn’s descriptions but especially the one of of Initio Mystic Experience, which sounds so mysteriously smoky and sweet. I also liked how Steven described it as warm, rich and resinous – sounds perfect for autumn! Mystic Experience would be my choice if I’m lucky enough to win. I’m a Redolessence subscriber in MN, USA.

  • I enjoyed both review’s, especially the one regarding Azman Perfumes Killer Vavoom. The leather and rose combo is always a great mix, and like the Stephen said it well done, and lon lasting! Thank you for the draw. In the US. My choice would also be Azman Perfumes Killer Vavoom.

  • Michelyns text really Got me in sweet spooky vibe and the video is super detailed and visually pleasing. I want to win Killer Vavoom, i live in the EU

  • Regis Monkton says:

Michelyn’s review caused me to want to try Roja Parfums’ “Sweetie Aoud”. Steven’s review caused me to be intrigued to try “Cocoa Moon”. If I win, then I’d choose Beach Geeza’s “Cocoa Moon”. I live in the U.S.A.

  • Spooky or not, I love the fragrances you picked
Prada Candy I’ve never smelled before
Roja Dove Sweetie Aoud, Roja Dove sure knows his job , no wonder almost all fragrance enthusiasts puts him on such pedestal , it’s not just Michelyn and Steven. Gourmand for grown-up people
Initio Parfums Prives Mystic Experience is right up my alley kind of fragrance, not overly aggressive, cozy , woody, slightly sweet, with really round up characteristics. I like how Michelyn told us about the Mexican Day of The Dead celebration
AZMAN Killer Vavoom is a complex, sensual and Hypnotic scent. It’s spicy, sweet and fruity . As a tailor I’m always dressed sharp, even at Halloween parties , no vampire costumes for me. Charcoal Gray and white pinstripe custom wool suit, made by me , using Zegna suit fabrics of course, is how I see myself wearing Killer Vavoom
Beach Geeza Cocoa Moon I’m so curious about the chocolate, and pineapples , and how the are blended.
AZMAN Killer Vavoom is the fragrance i’d like to win
Thank you Michelyn , Steven and all the brands
    USA

  • I liked the description for Killer Vavoom. A mysterious rose with chocolate, plum and leather. Quite an interesting mix.
I am in the EU, so I qualify only for it.
    Thank you!

  • carlos_lager says:

Thank you to Michelyn and Steven, for the second part of your list. All really good picks. If I were to win, I would choose the Azman Killer Vavoom. Who wouldnt like to dance with a vampire?
    Best regards from th EU

  • wandering_nose says:

I love the way Michelyn ties her picks with situations that they evoke. I am lucky to own the original formulation of Candy and do concur – it is a perfect Halloween treat with a niche character and great longevity. I am particularly taken by Killer Vavoom – going to be dancing with vampires tonight so who knows what might happen… Plus Steven is a fan and recommends it wholeheartedly, emphasising how perfectly blended and long lasting it is. I love how Ryan Hunts introduces annual tweaks to his Cocoa Moon delight. The pineapple note that comes through after the chocolate’y powderiness settles down, makes my mouth water. I am enthralled by Steven’s description of Mystic Experience, love the notes and can imagine myself wearing it one day. My choice if I am lucky to win, would be Azman’s Killer Vavoom. Thank you from the EU

  • What a beautiful description by Michelyn and Steven ! From Mychelyn reviews I enjoyed Killer Vavoin description – and imagined dancing with vampire))) Would like to smell perfumes which can give me that emotions!!
I liked especially description of Sweetie Aoud by Steven !! Love oud !!
Would lined to win Initio or Azman.
    US

  • I enjoyed Michelyn’s write up on Beach Geeza Cocoa Moon. I have friends who live in Roatan. I’ve never been to Honduras, but the pictures I’ve seen of their beach area are beautiful. I can imagine along with her the cacao trees on a little island across the water. Very picturesque! 🙂

Steven’s description of each fragrance made me want to go get something sweet from the kitchen! The description of Cocoa Moon has my heart. I’m still searching for a chocolate note I love in a fragrance so the chocolate combined with pineapple and other notes makes me drawn to it.
I would love to have Cocoa Moon. Thanks for the giveaway. In the USA.

  • Yes Michelyn…..let’s go to Mexico for Day of the Dead celebrations. I hadn’t heard of this Initio fragrance before. Interested to know the perfumer behind the Initio fragrance did so many of those nice PDM fragrances. Killer chocolate fragrance? I need to check that Azman fragrance. If I’m the lucky winner, I would go for Mystic Experience. I love an underrated fragrance, so many of them out there. Thanks for the chance. USA.

  • I really enjoy how Michelyn chose different aspects of Halloween and perfumes to fit them. I expected alot of Gothic spooky perfumes and had fun reading this list. Steven has great energy in his reviews, he does a great job of giving plenty of information it never feels stale or like I need to jump ahead. If I were chosen I’d LOVEE to try that Cocoa Moon. I’m really into American niche and indy perfume and this particular brand has caught my eye lately. Plus im a sucker for any perfume with “moon” in the name, I feel it signifies I’m about to smell some tuberose, my favorite note. I just checked the notes and voila, Tuberose!! I hope yall have a wonderful Halloween. I’m in Missouri, USA

  • First of all thanks Michelyn and Steven for this beautiful reviews! Love Michelyn detailed description and love Steven amazing reviews in depth!!!
I think Killer Vavoom and Mystic Experience sounds very interesting and beautiful!
I would happy to win Mystic Experience or Azman.
    frum US

  • I enjoyed the Day of the Dead write up for Mystic Experience! I really liked Stephens discussion about Azman, I am very intrigued by this house and need to get my nose on some, in particular, Prin’s release for this house (Majnoon).
Thank you again for the draw! I would like to win Mystic Experience.
    From BC Canada.

  • Brian.Bolin says:

Steven and Michelyn did fantastic descriptions of all the fragrances. The description of Azmans Killer Vavoom is definitely one I would love to have in my collection. The note break down sounds absolutely incredible. Thank you for a chance to win this fragrance!
    * My last comment did not save apparently.
    (USA)

  • As usual Michelyn and Steven have come up with a great list. Like Michelyn says, Is there a better name for a Halloween perfume than “candy”? I have smelled that one quite of few times and it is one of my favorite fragrances to smell on a woman during the fall time. Now her description of Cocoa Moon has me thinking because I did not know this was a yearly thing but knowing it smells like Mounds has me wanting it. When Steven speaks about Mystic Experience with that coffee note it has me excited. I love a good coffee fragrance. Definitely adding it to my list of must haves. These fragrances are all sound sweet, and gourmand which I love and cannot go wrong with either.

The fragrance I would like to win is Mystic Experience

    I live in Dallas, Tx

  • Any of these scents would be awesome to win.
But if I had to choose one it would be the Initio Mystic Experience.
    Thanks for the giveaways
    Love the site.
    Oklahoma USA

  • Not perfume related but I hope anyone reading this to have a great day. During this crazy times with inflation, we just have to make the best of every situation 🙂
Thank you Cafleurebon for allowing me to comment. I love halloween and autumn is my favourite season for perfumes! Be safe everyone <3

  • wallygator88 says:

Thanks for the great review Michelyn and Stephen.

Fragrances from Azman have continually caught my interest because of the briefs and the perfumers that have been recruited. I love how this is a chocolate fragrance, but with such fantastic florals (osmanthus and iris specifically) and that lovely leather note in the base. It’s also great to hear about the longevity.

    Cheers from Wi, USA

  • Loved both the article and the video, beautiful and interesting reviews of Michelyn and Steven!
Autumn is my favorite season or wearing different perfumes.
The description of Killer Vavoom by Azman sounds more than intriguing! Sweetie Aoud is sounds amazing too.
    I would pick up Initio!
    US.

  • Thanks for the reviews Steven and Michelyn!

Where I’m from, I never celebrated Halloween, but since I started working and travelling abroad, I enjoyed the spooky and tasty festivities.

I completely agree with Michelyn’s description of Sweetie Aoud. my partner bought it and it’s definitely an “Oh lala” fragrance. So incredibly sexy and sweet. It really is mouthwatering!

Steven’s reviews are always helpful to me to find out whether a fragrance is for me. His clear and consice descriptions often helped me decide to buy my next bottle and I’ve never been disappointed!

If I were lucky enough to win, I would pick AZMAN Killer Vavoom!

    Greetings from the UK!

  • Both very nice reviews and an interesting mix of fragrances picked. Most if these are wuite gourmandish which I like. I’m intrigued by Sweetie Aoud eventhough I’m not a fan of Oud, but Steven’s mention of the scent of a pastry shop really interest me because I’ve been looking for such a Great British Bake Off kind of scent.
However most intrigued I’m with Michelyn’s description of Killer Vavoom. Wowzers dangerous and sexy. Really would love to try this. Thanks for the giveaway! Marit UK

  • Very nice choice of fragrances. I agree that Killer Vavoom has some kind of darkness in it and does remind me of Día de Muertos too. It is a very nice fragrance. I am mostly drawn to Cocoa Moon, and I love how both Michelin and Steven describe it. I like cocoa and chocolate but I like it wen these fragrances are not too sweet so I think, this one might be just right for me. I am also a fan of Beach Geeza. Regarding the giveaway I would choose Cocoa Moon. I’m from Illinois, US.

  • Thanks for the great list! There’s a wonderful mix of styles here—spooky, hallowed, and candy-sweet. I particularly enjoyed Michelyn’s take on Mystic Experience. I haven’t tried it, but when I do, I won’t be able to smell it without thinking of flickering candles, a colorful altar, and the fragrant offerings carefully placed on top. I also remember Jacques from your memorable Field Notes From Paris write-up (one of my favorite INeKE fragrances). Stephen’s video was also detailed as usual. His enthusiasm really makes you want to try all these warm-coffee-resinous-vanilla-smoky fragrances, but the highlight was humorously distinguishing between homonyms Cocoa Moon and Coco Moon.

I’m in the midwest, USA. Should I win the giveaway, I’d choose the Initio Parfums Prives Mystic Experience.

  • I was looking forward to the second part of the best Halloween fragrances since Halloween is my favorite holiday. I agree with Michelyn that Prada Candy is an excellent choice for Halloween and is quite scrumptious. I am embarrassed to admit that I still haven’t tested Roja Sweetie Aoud, but I have always been intrigued by the patisserie accord. I loved Michelyn’s association between Initio Mystic Experience and Día de Muertos; it is a great choice for the celebration. I also enjoyed reading Michelyn’s brief description of Azman Killer Vavoom. Any fragrance that is compared to vampires is a must-try for me. Lastly, I loved reading about Michelyn’s last choice for the best Halloween fragrances, Beach Geeza Cocoa Moon. I have not tried it, but it sounds absolutely divine! It sounds like it would make an excellent Halloween fragrance, as well being a delicious year-round gourmand.

Steven’s description of Mystic Experience was perfect and I agree it is underrated. It was nice to hear Steven mention the long-lasting quality of Killer Vavoom. Hearing Steven say he associates a Parisian patisserie with Sweetie Aoud only confirms I must try this very soon. Chocolate, pineapple, and coconut sound delicious in Cocoa Moon.

In regards to the beginning of Steven’s video, I have been so curious about Navitus Raised Spirits. I need to get my hands on a sample ASAP. It sounds amazing!

Thank you, Michelyn and Steven, for the great reviews, and thank you to Azman, Initio, and Beach Geeza for the generous giveaways. I would love to win a bottle of Beach Geeza Cocoa Moon. I am located in the USA.

  • Thanks to the generosity of Azman Perfumes we have a 50 ml bottle of Killer Vavoom

I love a perfume that swaps you from reality and take you in a different story, where you are just following the script of the scent. Maybe your ph, maybe your mood could alternate a bit the line of the story, but mostly, you are just hypnotized.
Killer Vavoom is just that kind of perfume. Oh, and I just found out the meaning for ‘vavoom’.
    Hugs from Romania

I’m not really a fan of Halloween but I am a huge lover of the Autumn season. I enjoyed this list and Michelyn’s unique takes on all these fragrances. Steven really sold me on IP Mystic Experience in particular. I like coffee and gravitate towards dark, resinous scents. It’d be great to add that to my collection. I appreciate the giveaway opportunity. Many blessings from VA, USA!

  • I enjoyed the variety in types of fragrances and houses in Steven’s review, especially the focus on some lesser-known houses. I also liked Michelyn’s description of Mystic Experience, and the picture she paints in Mexico for the day of the dead. I’d like to win Cocoa Moon. I’m NY.

  • Such a great picks , well done.
Prada Candy I’ve seen in department stores, but never tried
Roja Dove Sweetie Aoud, My favorite Roja Dove fragrances are Vetiver Pour Homme Parfum Cologne , and Creation-E Parfum . Sweetie Aoud feels sexy , with special patisserie and oud feeling
Initio Parfums Prives Mystic Experience , when I was living in Spain the Mexican diaspora mostly celebrated Día de Muertos, but not all of them. To my knowledge it’s celebrated in some parts of Mexico, in others not so much. Mystic Experience is modern fragrance, with coffee and vanilla.
Azman Killer Vavoom is one sophisticated fragrances, I have a feeling I’ll enjoy it a lot.
Husen Khan multicultural background gave him a different perspective towards fragrances, and life. All Azman fragrances are complex , different and exquisite. It’s shown in the “Killer Vavoom” , musky and leathery, with honey.
Beach Geeza Cocoa Moon tropical chocolate
Azman Killer Vavoom would be my pick
    Exciting giveaway, USA

  • I love both Steven and Michelyn i am a subscriber of stevens for years now. I always get excited when im notified of a new review. He gives such detailed and accurate descriptions of fragrances that I own so I trust his reviews of things i havent tried too! It is always pleasure reading Michelyn’s articles because of the great imagrey and descriptions she gives.

I love halloween and I tend to gravitate towards fragrances people probably consider spooky as it is so I was excited to see another top Halloween perfumes article. Thank you to cafleurebon and the brands for the draw!

Mystic Experience by Initio Parfums is the one I am eager to try the most as i have already had my eye on this one prior to reading about it here.

    Im in North Carolina, USA

Happy Halloween! I love how Michelyn describes Azman Perfumes Killer Vavoom as a seductive and dangerous vampire. When she describes this scent, I feel as if I am the vampire in her story, radiating an magnetizing aura.
In Steven’s video I love how he relates Initio Parfums Prives Mystic Experience to Layton and Layton Exclusif. Both are colognes that I really love and makes me want to buy Mystic Experience.
This is a tough choice but I have to pick the sexy vampire in Azman Perfumes Killer Vavoom. I live in NYC, USA.

  • It’s interesting how in Best Halloween Fragrances Part 1 you told us how
“Michelyn was allergic to chocolate, cinnamon and nuts until she was 12, which might explain why she loves perfumes with these ingredients”
And now you’re choosing some chocolate gourmands 🙂
Prada is a brand I’ve never been a fan of, both clothes, shoes and fragrances.
Roja Dove is literally the epitome the niche, and high end perfumery. Because of Steven and Michelyn I’d like to go to a Parisian bakery and buy some croissants and brioches
My experience with Initio Parfums Prives Mystic Experience is different. To my nose there’s no “strong coffee” , it’s musky, mossy and woody, with just a small amount of sweetness.
AZMAN Killer Vavoom feels trailblazing, one you’d never forget type of fragrance. I like the gourmand and lustful contrasts between the leather and the chocolate.
Beach Geeza Cocoa Moon sweet leather topical , with a seductive facets
I’d love to win AZMAN Killer Vavoom
    Thanks for the draw

  • A stellar list once again. I’m now itching to try out Sweetie Aoud after Michelyn’s associated second mention of Jacques in a couple of months. That must have been quite the experience 🙂 I was also happy to see Prada Candy show up in the curated list as it was an instant like for me. In addition, after having experienced and loved Rehab and Side Effect from Initio, I’m yearning to try out Mystic Experience and it will be my choice if the fragrance lottery gods smile on me 🙂 Best of luck to everyone and again thank you taking time to create the lists for us and for the opportunities you give us every day. I’m in USA

I loved Michelyn’s intro and Steven’s video review for 5 fragrances for Halloween Part 2. Prada Candy is a popular classic in the fragrance community and for good reason it’s a captivating gourmand fragrance that Michelyn still enjoys wearing and that is part of her collection. Sweetie Aoud is a beautiful oud and gourmand leaning fragrance that gets well deserved attention. Beach Geeze Cocoa Moon the new release that features chocolate has definitely captured my attention and is something I would love to try. Azman Perfumes Killer Va Voom has been getting some attention in the fragrance community with it’s depth and complexing that Steven mentioned really sounds intriguing. Initio Parfums Mystic experience sounds really good with featured notes of Coffee, Vanilla, Musk, and Patchouli Steven describes this as an underrated gem from Initio Parfums and is one that I have never heard of, but the perfumer has made some other great fragrances including several from Parfums de Marly. If I win I would choose Initio Parfums Mystic Experience. I am from the USA.

Fantastic reviews! I thought that Michelyn’s written review of Initio Parfums Prives Mystic Experience was particularly compelling in how she tied it into the celebration of Día de las Muertos, the Mexican counterpart of Halloween, with it’s offerings of traeditional foods, vanilla, and strong coffee rendered into a fragrance.

I really enjoyed how thorough Steven’s video reviews always are, particularly how he describes the unique vanilla-flavored -macaroon accord and how it brings to mind a fancy French patisserie. That restrained lactonic sweetness is one of the only types of sweet fragrances I enjoy, and his description makes me very excited to try it.

If I were to win, Mystic Experience would be my first choice, with Killer Vavoom being a close second. I live in the US.
