The Fragrance Foundation Awards have always been exciting to follow. Formerly known as the Fifis, these awards are the Oscars of the Perfume Industry culminating in a red carpet event.  They have revealed  the 2015 semi finalists, and the five finalists in each category will be announced at the Finalist Breakfast, held on April 10. Actress Christine Baranski  is  back to emcee for the third year.  John Demsey, group president of the Estée Lauder Cos. Inc., will be named the Hall of Fame Honoree and Annie Buzantian, master perfumer at Firmenich, will receive the Perfumer of the Year Lifetime Achievement award. The  2015  winners will be announced at The Fragrance Foundation Awards on June 17 at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall  and  actor Alec Baldwin will host the event.
