Rima XI is the new Carner Barcelona release and its name is taken from the Spanish poem by Gustavo Adolfo Becquer of the same name. I was especially intrigued by a perfume which might capture “an impossible vain ghost of mist and light”.
Tom Ford’s creations, both in perfumes and on the runway, are hit or miss with me. Even those that miss have an uncanny ability to still come off as stylish. Some, like Noir, are classy while still radiating comfort and a hint of luxury.
Eline Pajot spent 15 years working for all of the biggest beauty brands but after she worked for IFF she realized she wanted to become an “Autour”. There are four perfumes in this inaugural group for her Autour du Parfum line; Poudre d’Iris, Patchouli Tonka, Encens d’Ange, and Ambre Mystere.
