Perris Monte Carlo Arancia di Sicilia is a departure from the previous trio which were in the bright and fresh category. Central to this new fragrance is Blood orange; the most iconic citrus from Sicily, It is known as the Orange Sanguinella; bright red and is grown on the slopes of Mount Aetna. Two complex methods are used to extract the oils- the first from the rind only and then later the entire fruit. In Perris Monte Carlo Arancia di Sicilia the burst of the blood orange is at the top, but as it dries down it veers into gourmand territory with notes of coffee, vanilla, almond, cinnamon and amber and it I suited for both warm and cool weather equally.
