As we  begin the new year, it is the perfect time to explore the latest release by Perfumology. Inspired by the holidays, this scent captures the magic of togetherness, indulgence, and the sweet pull of nostalgia. The warm glow of candlelight dances against frosted windows, the air thick with the comforting hum of family chatter and soft laughter. The aroma of a freshly baked pie drifts through the house, its golden crust and warm, sweet filling tempting everyone within reach. You’re stuffed from the feast, sure, but the lure of dessert is simply impossible to resist.

Nir’s assistant Brian Warner’s vivid holiday memories inspired Perfumology Decadent Memories, a scrumptious gourmand crafted to perfection by master perfumer Nathalie Feisthauer. A sensory portal to those moments of pure contentment when the world narrows to the glow of a cozy kitchen and the love of family and friends.

The room feels alive as the pie is brought to the table. Its scent envelops the space—a luscious blend of ripe apples, cherries bursting with juice, and blueberries so plump they seem ready to pop. Blackcurrant adds a tangy depth, mimicking the sticky sweetness of fruit bubbling beneath the crust. The buttery, golden pastry cools ever so slightly, revealing its rich, flaky essence. As you slice into the pie, the filling oozes out, glistening and aromatic. The first bite is perfection—the slight tang of the berries balanced by the buttery warmth of the crust. Creamy undertones of tonka bean and vanilla mingle with the luxurious richness of sandalwood, grounding the sweetness in a way that feels decadent but never overwhelming. Each bite feels like a hug, wrapping you in a sense of belonging and comfort.

The experience is about the way this moment makes you feel—whole, warm, and deeply connected. The laughter of loved ones, the shared joy over dessert, the way the pie’s aroma lingers long after the last slice—all of it weaves together into a memory that feels eternal.

Decadent Memories fill your senses the way a warm pie fills a room, radiating love, comfort, and the joy of the season. With every spritz, it invites you to relive those cherished moments and savor the sweetness of life’s most delicious memories. Wrapping up this article, I’m making a beeline for the kitchen to bake a pie. This fragrance has my mouth watering, and there’s only one way to handle a craving this intense—give in and indulge.

Notes: Cherry Accord, Blueberry Accord, Baked Apple, Blackcurrant, Vanilla Absolute, Tonka Bean Absolute, Sandalwood Oil, Virginia Cedar, Ambroxan, Musks.

  • My goodness, reading this has my mouth watering. That description makes Decadent Memories sound amazing and decadent indeed. I would love to smell it too! Hello from Honolulu, HI.

Fruit pie with cream! What could be better? Delicious.

I’m so curious to try this and see how it compares to other pie fragrances–like Sora Dora Janey.

Gourmand fragrances are not going anywhere anytime soon! Where I live, which is about to get a whole lot of snow, gourmand fragrances come in handy right about now. Cherry pies are a staple in the winter months and around the holidays so it made sense that it would be the inspiration for this one. Come to think about it, I’m not sure if there are any fragrances that specifically take inspiration of a cherry pie (cherry fragrances do come a dime a dozen). I’m excited to try this one, it sounds deliciously decadent. I’m located in the USA.

  • Everything about Olya’s review really encapsulates the feelings that holiday baking can evoke. Capturing those feelings in a perfume would be so nostalgic and comforting. This fragrance sounds like just that.

  • What a fun scent! Yes, family holidays are about the only time I eat pie, so it does remind me of fun get-togethers. And I’m a sucker for apple in scents, too. Would enjoy trying this. Thanks and hello from CO, USA!

  • I was salivating, reading Olya’s description of Decadent Memories. I could smell the pie crust, the tart berries, the sweet vanilla….yum! I think Perfumology has done such a good job commissioning their own fragrances, Blyss being a favorite. I would love to try this gourmand scent by the great Nathalie Feistheir.Thank you for the draw and the story. I’m in USA.

  • The winter season is perfect for cozy and comforting scents. What is cozier than a scent that evokes baked fruit pies: the indulgent, sweetness of cutting into a freshly baked pie and savoring the juicy sweetness of tangy blackcurrant, tart apples, juicy cherries and sweet blueberries. A Scent you could almost eat; paired with sandalwood that tapers and balances the sweetness, this is the season for gourmands to truly shine, and Decadent Memories, seems like it would be the perfect scent for those with a sweet tooth.

Another dessert fragrance I would love to wear. I adore the combination of fruits here, making the “pie” more complex and mouth-watering. The grounding base is perfect, making this a wearable scent. Count me in. I live in Oregon.

  • Decadent Memories sounds like the perfect name for this scrumptious fruity gourmand. There’s nothing like sharing a homemade pie with family and friends. Thanks for the opportunity to try. MI USA

  • Man, this review literally has made my stomach growl. I want some pie so bad right now! The scent sounds really decadent and comforting. I love cherry and while one could argue that it has been overdone recently, I cannot get enough of it. What really excites me, though, is the blueberry. You don’t see that nearly as often and I am really excited to see how it comes across in this composition. Best of luck to all. I live in NC, USA.

  • Well, at first I was just going to read the article but not enter, because I’m not a huge gourmand fan a lot of the time. I want to eat cookies not smell like them. But then the article made me wonder if this would be more like a walking memory than a walkimg bakery scent and now I definitely want to try it. Plus the baked apple accord sounds like somethign I must try at least once in my life!

  • We can have our pie and eat it too?! I’ll admit I’m not a gourmandienne. But I’ll also admit it’s been ages since I’ve tried one. Why not try it with a berry apple pie? Besides I trust Nathalie Feisthauer‘s work completely. Thank you for the generous giveaway. I am preparing to be swayed in California.

  • Wow. I love EVERYTHING about this review but this is my favorite part.
The experience is about the way this moment makes you feel—whole, warm, and deeply connected. The laughter of loved ones, the shared joy over dessert, the way the pie’s aroma lingers long after the last slice—all of it weaves together into a memory that feels eternal.
Thank you for the very generous giveaway, I live in the USA.

  • The winter season calls for warm and inviting fragrances that wrap you in comfort, and what could be more fitting than a scent reminiscent of a freshly baked fruit pie? Imagine the luscious aroma of tangy blackcurrant, crisp apples, juicy cherries, and sweet blueberries, blending in a delightful symphony of sweetness. Balanced beautifully by creamy sandalwood, this gourmand creation isn’t just indulgent—it’s perfectly poised. Decadent Memories seems to capture the essence of edible delight, making it an irresistible choice for those who crave a sweet, cozy embrace in the colder months. Regards from NY 😉

Noticing a lot of cherry fragrances popping up lately. What stood out for me from this review was Olyas experience with the fragrance. “The experience is about the way this moment makes you feel—whole, warm, and deeply connected.” If a fragrance can make you feel this way it’s definitely worth trying it out.

  • A gourmand berry pie fragrance with buttery vanilla and tonka notes sounds scrumptious and a way to indulge without calories! I love Nathalie Feisthauer’s work. MD, USA.

  • This sounds lovely. I prefer a gourmand perfume that is more like pie more than the cake and cookie variety. I love the note of black currant. This is reminding me of the Huckleberry pies my great grandma used to bake every summer when we visited. Oh how I miss her…..and the pie. Of course the huckleberries were wild and had to be harvested by my grandma and great grandma. I have more fond memories of pie than any other dessert. Another grandma taught me to make apple pie. Thanks for the memories and the chance at this scent. USA.
