Penhaligon’s Amaranthine Winner: Dedicated to the Duchess of Cambridge and the Royal Wedding Night

Penhaligon’s London Established in 1870 (when Queen Victoria reigned and whose devoted husband Prince Albert was besotted by his Royal wife the Queen) Amaranthine, aka “Amaranthigh” … the penultimate sexy scent ofa confident woman.

Amaranthine’s top notes are green tea, white freesia, banana tree leaf, coriander seed oil, and cardamom absolute; its heart notes are rose, carnation, clove oil (a little spice never hurts), orange blossom ( sensual and seductive), ylang ylang oil ( a 2-fer: calms and is an aphrodisiac), and Egyptian jasmine absolute; and its base is musk, vanilla (calming), sandalwood, condensed milk, and tonka bean absolute. Note: This was Perfumer Bertrand Duchaufour' s first fragrance for Penhaligon’s.
