New Niche Fragrance Review: Diptyque Eau Moheli- Ylang-Ylang Redux

L’Eau du Trente-Quatre goes on with a fresh blast of bitter citruses. It is refreshing, but not sweet. There is a green aspect that is very natural-smelling , like crushing a leaf in your hand. It’s not the delicate green of grass, but the more chunky green of an herbaceous tree
In 2011, Diptyque released a fragrance called 34 Boulevard Saint Germain. Designed to remind the wearer of the fragrance one would experience on entering the Paris flagship store. This spring, another version was released, L’Eau du Trente-Quatre, to represent the greener aromas that emerge in the shop when Paris heats up in the summertime.
The stunning visuals of the film Anna Karenina inspired me to create an olfactive world for it. I create a scent track for Levan, Kitty, Anna & Vronsky…OdinSunda, Diptyque L’Ombre Dans L’eau, and Arquiste Aleksandr.
At far drydown, the EDT and EDP of all of these are comparable. The different experience lies in the top and heart notes. I think these Eaux de Parfum are great additions to the Diptyque line
Diptyque has introduced Eau de Parfum versions of three of the scents that are staples in their fragrance collection, Philosykos, Do Son, and L’Ombre Dans L’Eau. The new versions are a bit different from their predecessors, which makes them all equally tempting.
