The word mistral is derived from a dialect of French which means “masterly”. Mistral Patchouli is an example of M. Epinette’s masterly use of materials to create a dry breeze of patchouli that is breathtaking.
In 1932, George G. Blaisdale formed the Zippo lighter company creating an American icon. Two years ago they expanded their line to fragrances. It seems Zippo has put the same thought and quality into their scents; Original, On the Road, Into the Blue, and The Woman, as they always have into their lighters.
It was with both curiosity and mild skepticism that I received the news of a new version of L’Heure Bleue being commissioned by Guerlain to commemorate its centennial. Thanks to a perfume Fairy Godmother, I received a decant of this new Eau de Parfum, called L’Heure de Nuit.
