I’m still on a fragrant cloud after another fabulous Sniffapalooza In New York City. As always Karen Adams and Karen Dubin created a program which had the participants experiencing fragrance in traditional and non-traditional ways. This was the sixteenth edition of Sniffapalooza and we jokingly referred to it as “Sweet Sixteen”.
I am optimistic about the future of perfumery on the West Coast. With the upcoming Artisan Fragrance Salon in July featuring many of the perfumers in this article) and a growing perfume enthusiast community, we will be a force to be reckoned with in the broader perfumed world.
It’s a truly exciting time to become part of the American Perfumery life. Resources that have opened up to niche/indie perfumers have been growing and gaining a wider audience.
