I like to immerse myself in the arts. Whether it be painting, design, or fashion, my creative spirit has guided me, moving often between Northern and Southern California and traveling to Europe and beyond.
Recently it was announced that Los Angeles-based perfume emporium Scent Bar was launching a new collection of bath and body products in partnership with Target stores. I decided to adopt a wait-and-see attitude, because I know that snobbery can come back to bite you in the butt, and I’m glad I did. I received a nice array of the products to test, and I am happy to say they are really good.
If there is one word to describe Isaac Mizrahi’s personality and sense of style it would be FABULOUS. It’s also the name of his debut fragrance for women.
Last year’s release of the “It’s Me” pair continued this trend with bottles shaped like iPhones that contained modern youth-friendly interpretations of classic perfume structures

Created by Jacques Polge,, COCO NOIR marks a return to Oriental fragrances for the House. Recalling his journey to unveil the mystery of black through fragrance, he explains, “The night vision of the ‘Orient that starts and ends in Venice’ imposed itself upon me, and that is where I wanted to go.”
