One of the best examples of restoring a former Fragrance House to its former glory is BLOCKI. In 2015, Tammy and Tyler Kraemer continued the legacy of pioneer American Perfumer, John Blocki (1845-1934); Tyler’s family is descended from John Blocki and both Tammy and Tyler are committed to bringing the BLOCKI heritage into the 21st century, using both vintage and contemporary sensibilites. BLOCKI Sanrovia is a modern interpretation of the original which was introduced on January 23, 1911 after John Blocki returned from a trip to Italy…
BLOCKI Sanrovia via BLOCKI
“John Blocki was a globe-trotter with a particular fondness for Italy. On the dazzling shores of the Italian Riviera and in the diffused sunlight of the nearby hillsides he found inspiration for a new perfume. Like the original, the 2018 BLOCKI Sanrovia may trigger fantasies of warm sunlight, rows of leafy citrus trees and the shimmering blue waters of the Mediterranean. American free spirit meets Italian chic…”
BLOCKI Sanrovia is a combination of Italian and California lemon, bergamot and Valencia orange, oscillating between a masculine & feminine mix of lavender/geranium and jasmine/Jacques Cartier rose, and finally transformed with elusive notes of labdanum, Haitian vetiver and sensuous skin-warming Australian sandalwood.
Top Notes: Lemon (Italy & California), Bergamot & Valencia Orange
