Les Bains Guerbois1992 Purple Night and prince review

Les Bains Guerbois 1992 Purple Night and Prince – edited by Emmanuelle Varron

1992 was a special year in my life. I turned 20, when I FINALLY felt that I had entered the adult’s world, a symbolic age that made me believe I would achieve all my desires. 1992 was also the year my professional life began, the starting point of my career. It was a different era, when I used to have so much fun, when I wore over-the-top outfits, outrageous maquillage and danced in Paris’ most famous nightclubs. An era forgotten or not not known by millennials, but making those of us who were there nostalgic and young people who wished they were, now, after nearly a year of pandemic. Luckily, we can travel back to this year with Les Bains Guerbois 1992 Purple Night.

Originally built in 1885, a temple of wellbeing and beauty (known for its many famous artists, including Marcel Proust, Auguste Renoir and Emile Zola), Les Bains Guerbois became fashionable again in 1978: renamed “Les Bains Douches”; it very quickly became THE trendy nightclub in Paris. Jean-Pierre Marois, heir of the building, brought it back to life by setting up a 5 stars hotel in 2015. He then launched an eau de Cologne in 2016, soon followed by six perfumes, all named after Les Bains Guerbois most meaningful years. Recently, 1992 Purple Night was launched, and Master Perfumer Dominique Ropion (IFF) pays tribute to an historical event that took place at the nightclub.

Les Bains Guerbois 1992 Purple Night is the scent of a true story. Prince, in Paris for the “Diamonds and Pearls” Tour, left the Bercy Arena after the concert with all his musicians to go to the Bains-Douches. And in the early hours of July 12, 1992, he offered an unprecedented after show to an exceptionally large and delirious audience as he was such a popular artist, and absolutely loved by all. Here, at ÇaFleureBon, we devoted an article in 2011 to celebrate Prince’s 53rd birthday, matching our favorite song with its perfect perfume, (well I don’t need to search further). Imagine Paris in mid-summer, the sensuality of the music and the legendary sex appeal of Prince; Master Perfumer Dominique Ropion  captured the wild sensuality and defines his creation in three words: “Exuberant, sensitive and avant-garde”.

Carnal tuberose is the star of this fragrance…  the multi-faceted flower representing the genius of Prince, an artist who crossed gender boundaries between masculine-feminine. Tuberose takes center stage and stays on the skin for a long, long time…vibrant, sophisticated and uninhibited. Les Bains Guerbois 1992 Purple Night opens direct and lively, accompanied by sparkling tangerine. But remember tuberose is not the kind of flower that leaves the spotlight to others: its sensual, fleshy notes quickly regain the advantage and bewitch again. This is when an unexpected duet begins, thanks to tobacco notes reminiscent of tonka bean (and the famous Amsterdamer beloved by pipe smokers!). This unique pair then brings roundness and sweetness to our intrepid tuberose, warming it without distorting it. One can then perceive extremely soft leathery notes, like to the one you can feel when caressing a suede garment. On my skin, patchouli is noticeable, but never outshines the tuberose. Other people around me noticed a woody-spicy effect that gave the scent an almost vintage vibe, Les Bains Guerbois 1992 Purple Night is a fragrance with a strong sillage, as we dared to wear at the close of the 20th century.

The first image that came to my mind  when I sprayed it on was Prince unbuttoning a silk shirt, then throwing it in the audience. In my mind, I was the one grabbing the precious garment,  holding up Prince’s shirt up to my nose and being swept away by his trail of tuberose.

Les Bains Guerbois 1992 Purple Night 1992 evolves after a few hours and has exceptional longevity, still on your skin the next day when you wake up and lingering on your clothing  you wore from the night before. It is at the drydown that tuberose takes a step back and gives way to the tobacco notes strongly marked by the tonka bean. This is a completely different fragrance, softened, rounded, with a delicious sensuality. A constantly renewed surprise that makes you want to wear it, day and night, and which offers tuberose a new interpretation, both nostalgic and totally up to date.

Notes: mandarin, tuberose, jasmine, tobacco accord (with tonka bean), suede accord, patchouli.

  • From Emmanuelle’s review, Les Bains Guerbois 1992 Purple Night seems to be a very heady, decadent, delightful perfume, with tuberose, jasmine, patchouli, tobacco, suede notes. It also has great sillage and longevity. Purple Rain comes to my mind, thinking of Prince. I’d love to try Les Bains Guerbois 1992 Purple Night, as it seems happy and decadent, with earthy tones in the drydown. Thanks Emmanuelle for the wonderful review. Thanks also for the draw. I am in the USA.

  • Prince was amazing and it’s amazing how many crazy Prince stories different people have. He really left his mark on a lot of people with his eccentric diva-ish yet playful behavior. The notes of this fragrances really do scream PRINCE to me! Thank you for the review Emmanuelle, thank you for sharing your 1992 memories. From Canada.

  • A great story for a decadent fragrance. I’d obviously like to try Purple Night, as well as Bains Sulfureux. For the song… it’s gotta be Purple Rain. Too iconic. USA based.

  • I love it how Emmanuelle walks you through hole experience of the sent, it makes it easy to image how it fells. I got really intrigued by Purpule Night, I was always a big fan of tonka bean. I would love to try 1900 L’Heure De Proust, because I read some really good things about it and also Purpule Night. As for the Prince, the Little Red Corvette is at top of my list.
    I am based in EU

I enjoyed reading about the legendary after show that Prince performed at Bains-Douches. My favorite Prince song is Let’s Go Crazy. I live in Maryland. I would love to try 2018 Roxo Tonic.

I think Emmanuelle’s review was a nice nostalgic trip into a highlight of her life. She did a wonderful job of thoroughly +breaking down the fragrance and highlighting the star of the show – – TUBEROSE!: “Carnal tuberose is the STAR of this fragrance… the multi-faceted flower representing the genius of Prince, an artist who crossed gender boundaries between masculine-feminine. Tuberose takes center stage and stays on the skin for a long, long time…vibrant, sophisticated and uninhibited. One can then perceive extremely soft leathery notes, like to the one you can feel when caressing a suede garment. On my skin, patchouli is noticeable, but NEVER OUTSHINES the tuberose.”

The Les Bains Guerbois that I would REALLY love to try are: 2018 ROXO TONIC, 2015 LE PHÉNIX, and 1885 BAINS SULFUREUX.

My favorite Prince song is “When Doves Cry”.

I live in Waldorf, Maryland, USA.

  • How are there not a plethora of fragrances devoted to the celebration of Prince!? A carnal tuberose is absolutely appropriate for a Prince-centric scent. In fact, I see all the listed notes, especially the jasmine, suede accord and tobacco, as an homage to the hey-day of the Artist. My only question is, why is the juice nor purple? The Les Bains Guerbois line looks fun and I would love to try 1900 L’Heure de Proust as well as 1992 Purple Night. Favorite Prince song is tough but I do like I Could Never Take the Place of Your Man. Commenting from MD, USA.

  • Emmanuelle, thank you so much for this review and for sharing such great memories and tidbits of Paris with us. This sounds like an amazing and fitting fragrance dedicated to the late artist.

I think my favorite Prince song is Raspberry Beret, which I call Béret Framboisique (Don’t tell L’Academie, but I think Framboisique is pretty nifty, even if a no-no).

Merci aux Bains Guerbois pour leur générosité.

  • Oh Gosh!! My absolute favorite Prince song is Raspberry Beret! Every time it plays I feel filled with happiness inside. It is linked to good memories and is also just a wonderful joyful song!
Honestly, what I really enjoyed from Emmanuelle’s review was the vibrant history lesson that it included – pop culture, music, history, fragrance – all interconnected. And, I never knew about “this scent of a true story”. So thank you for including this in your review!
As a fan of unisex fragrances, and the androgyny often linked with Prince, I would love to try Les Bains Guerbois 1992 Purple Night for sure.
Thank you for this draw, all the way from Canada 🙂

  • Such a great review Emmanuelle!
I really liked how you described the whole image that the scent gives.
To me, it sounds like a play that starts early in the day and ends at midnight. It seems like I should spray it early in the day and let the tuberose, the sparkly tangerine (mandarin) notes and the tobacco accord express themselves during the day and finally I end up with the sensual scent in bed!
    Fantastic!

    Greetings from Aalborg, Denmark.

I really like to try 1992 Purple Night, based on this review, and 2013 Residence D’Artistes based on its notes.

And from Prince, I would go with both Purple Rain & Kiss.

  • 1992 was a great year for me, I graduated high school and on my way to adulthood. I really feel like purple night would capture tthe essence of what 1992 meant for me. Lady Cab Driver is my favorite Prince song. I live in Indiana USA

  • Oooh, now this sounds like a house I would love to explore. Emmanuelle’s review really put me there in the moment and I actually felt a twinge of jealousy toward the people who experienced it (also maybe I’m desperate to actually be somewhere besides my house!). A tuberose scent by Mr. Ropion? You need not say more! I would love to try the entire line. Thank you for the draw. US.

  • Hello from Greece, anything made by the magic hand of Dominic is worthy of attention. I am super interested in the samples, something tells me I’ll love them. Thank you for the draw!

  • Cristea Camelia says:

A potent tuberose dancing on the floor with tobacco and tonka beans. It sounds delicious. I would love to try 1992 Purple Night obviously and my favorite Prince song is Cream

  • Who wouldn’t want to smell like Prince being able to embrace both your masculine as your feminine side and sing in purple rain. I would really love to try Les Bains Guerbois 1992 Purple Night and feel exuberant, sensitive and avant-garde at the same time. Living in the EU

Notes: mandarin, tuberose, jasmine, tobacco accord (with tonka bean), suede accord, patchouli. I am intrigued by the notes especially tuberose and Patchouli. My favourite Prince song is The most beautiful girl in the world and I would love to try Purple Night. A beautiful piece by Emmanuelle really hits the spot. Thanks a million from the United Kingdom

My favourite Prince song is Kiss. A great review by Emmanuelle really captures Prince personality and talent perfectly. I would love to try Pure Night. Thanks a lot from the UK

  • In 1992 I was on the verge of becoming a teenager and in summerwe did a trip to Paris with my parents. We didn’t vist Les bains Guerbois or the Prince concert of course, but the trip remains in my memory. The description of smell being just like Prince’s silk shirt trown into audience is beautiful!
    I’m in Slovenia, EU

  • It would be such a trip to smell a fragrance that felt like a Prince afterparty from a distant time, and in Paris –quelle merveille! So I’d most like to try 1992, as well as 2013. It’s hard to pick a single favorite Prince song, but for now I’ll say “Take Me With You” and “Sign O’ the Times.” (USA)

  • Emmanuelle’s review and the tales told got me invested in the muses of Les Bains Guerbois and its time period, fleshing out the “time machine” ability of each creations even though I may be nowhere near existence for over half of them (lol). I think it’s part of the perfume artistry — storytelling, creating inspiration. The transformation of scents also sound amazing!

I’m based in Thailand, and I’d love to try:
    – 2015 LE PHÉNIX for the incense, spice, and all thing woodsy-nice (the accord also reminds me of my 3AM alarm ‘raising from the ashes’, where I need to wake up after 3 hours for occupational mad dash)
    – EAU DE COLOGNE, again for the incense, spice, cedar-shavings niceties
    – 2013 RESIDENCE for papyrus and cardamom in rolls of leather. Mmmm
    – 1992 PURPLE NIGHT for the tobacco and leather accords blanketed with the tuberose
    – 1978 LES BAINS DOUCHES for the cedar and mate’ (!!!)
    – 1900 L’HEURE DE PROUST exactly because the site says “This product is not available for your country” — now I got to know how it is!!!!
    – 1885 BAINS SULFUREUX for the name — will the notes combine into sulfur-inspired scent?

Hm, interesting how my ranking of interest is almost chronological (except for the EDT, which is 1885)
(+ will they consider a 2020 perfume? I so love to know what essence of 2020 at Les Bains Guerbois they would consider capturing!)

Lastly for the favorite song: Little Red Corvette!

  • This sounds wonderful! I love Prince, and I remember that Diamonds and Pearls album so well! I think my favorite Prince sing is from that album, Gett Off. Purple Nights 1992 sounds amazing, I love a strong tuberose, and mixing it with tobacco sounds lovely! And I’ll try anything from Dominique Ropion! I’m in NYC.

  • Tuberose could be a tricky ingredient for my olfactory taste. How much I enjoy tuberose- dominant fragrance depends mostly on an overall blend. In concoctions, I enjoy greatly tuberose is well connected and as a star still dances synchronically with other scents that are accompanying her majestical performance.

According to Emmanuelle’s review 1992 Purple Night is done as well as Prince’s performances. Tuberose is being showcased, but without a masterful choreography of other notes that back up the ultimate star, it would not be possible for the performance to reach the level of unforgetful- ness and cult status. According to Emmanuelle’s review, the two main duet back-up dancers are two of my beloved scents: mandarin and tobacco accord, which makes the fragrance even more intriguing.

I very much enjoyed learning about the origin and later evolution of Les Bains Guerbos. It seems that a current owner has combined a deep appreciation for the tradition with a superb understanding of longing for it and made a great contemporary concept of reviving the history A 5-star hotel, restaurant, cocktail bar, club,…and a perfume house all interconnected with the same idea of cherishing a heritage and inspiring from the tradition. So very French, if I may say in the most adoring sense. 🙂

When reading the article I was reminiscing about my spring and summer of 1992. One of the strong memories evolves around a morning visit of a neighboring friend and watching MTV before going to school. And, there I »met« Prince. Even I was a more Metallica and Guns N’ Roses type of girl back than, I deeply admired his talent, artistry, and success. My favorite Prince’s song was and still is Purple Rain.
I appreciate learning about Les Bains Guerbos. The fragrances I would like to try are:
    – 1992 Purple Night
    – 2018 Roxo Tonic
    – 2013 Residence D’Artistes
    – 2015 Le Phenix
Thank you for a greatly entertaining and informative review and a generous giveaway.

  • 1992 was a year of new beginning for people like me, living in former communist countries. We started to discover the world, the free market, the freedom and the western civilization. Although I was only 10 years old, I could understand that times have chanced, that the challenges will be bigger, but also the awards. A fragrance that would remind me of that time would be like a portal to that dimension, like proust’s madleine, taking me back when I was innocent, eager to discover what the world has to offer and innocent. I currently live in Romania.

  • I really loved how Emmanuelle told the story about Prince in paris, it was a very inspiring review. A good story adds a lot to a good perfume, in my view! My favorite prince song is PURPLE RAIN, of course, hence I would love to try Purple Night. It seems like a long lasting decadent perfume and I definitely have a soft spot for those! I’m from Spain, EU.

  • Oh my God! If there is a frangrance inspired by Prince i need to try. The plus is that Dominique Ropion is the nose behind it.
Love the note of tuberose and tobacco!
    Send love from Italy (milan)!

  • I consider that Emmanuelle’s review captures the very essence of the perfume, being a vibrant one and deeply anchored in certain events, unique moments in history, which will forever remain imprinted in our minds.

I would love to try this *vibrant, sophisticated and uninhibited* tuberose (Purple Night), but also Les Bains Douches, Résidence d’Artistes, New Wave and L’Heure De Proust.

Did I mention that purple is my favorite colour? So, yeah, my favorite song from Prince is … Purple Rain.

Thank you for the chance, I live in EU – Romania.

  • I loved the review, I never heard about this house and their concept sounds really interesting! I would love to try 1992 purple night, since Dominic Ropion is one of my favourite perfumers, and my favorite song from Prince is Another Lonely Christmas! 😀 I live in Croatia, EU.

  • 1992 was also an important year for me. Everything changed that year. My marriage over, I was making friends and having fun for the first time in years. The year ended tragically with the murder of my closest friend. As I said, everything changed. But that first part of the year is something that will stay with me forever. And I love Prince. And I love tuberose. So… Les Bains Guerbois 1992 Purple Night is the one that I would most like to try. 1979 was a pretty amazing year too. Favorite Prince song? That’s hard! Probably Sexy Motherfucker. I am in the US.

  • I would like to try the one I just read about, 1992. Reading how the tuberose and tobacco work together sounds promising. US

  • I am a fan of tuberose, and I have seen it successfully paired with the leather note, so this sounds appealing. I was unaware of this brand so would be interested in this discovery set. Thank you for keeping your readers so informed of the seemingly endless brands that are being introduced! USA

  • I love the Nostalgia behind the collection and 1992 is my year lol! I would love to win the sample set and as most people will likely agree, Purple Rain is too good of a song to dethrone in my opinion.
    NY USA

  • This sounds like an awesome and bold fragrance. Tobacco-tonka accord, patchouli and gentle suede and of course, the star of the show, the tuberose. I really do love tuberose and I am always curious to try it in all its forms and possibilities. I am most interested in 1978 Les Bains Douches, 2015 Le Phenix and 1885 Bains Sulfureux, even though they all sound appealing.
Not being a Prince savvy, I will say my favorite song is one of the few ones I know, Purple Rain.
    I am in Europe. Thanks!

  • I love Prince’s song “Little Red Corvette”. What a fun Review from Emmanuelle! I loved the story about the shirt and the smell of tuberose! I have not tried any LesBainsGuerbois. Purple Night and Dominique Ropion’s creation sound like a winner. A discovery set would be wonderful. Thank you for the chance. California

  • I am always looking forward to try new things when it comes to fragrances and I think Les Bains Guerbois is going to surprise me as they have a nice and wide variety of creations.
    Thanks!

  • Prince and tuberose – a most interesting association. The notes of Purple Night also sound great!
I will go listening to some of Prince music after this comment.

Emmanuelle managed to evoke amazing memories, dreams and cravings that are part of being a 20 year old. Seeing the world as a place of limitless conquers and bold debauchery. I am helplessly drawn to the notes, ever loving tobacco, tonka bean, patchouli and anything that givess off leathery vibes. Absolutely swept away and utterly enchanted by the sheer thought of 1992 Purple Night so this one is the one I would love to try. My favorite Prince song is “1999”. Based in the Republic of Ireland, EU

  • This gig sounds epic! Visiting the North Sea Jazz Festival in the 00s, there was always a rumour going around that Prince may do a surprise performance. It never happened but I can totally imagine the ecstasy if it had! This fragrance sounds absolutely amazing. I love tuberose and the pairing with mandarin and tabacco sounds delicious. Beautiful nostalgic review by Emanuelle! I have never tried a Les Bains Guerbois perfume so would love to try 1992 as discover the others. Marit UK

  • Wow, Les Bains Guerbois 1992 sounds sexy as hell! Tuberose really does seem an ideal representation for Prince, especially paired with mandarin, tobacco, and suede. Thank you for introducing me to a house I wasn’t familiar with, I love the concept of creating scents to honor specific events that occured at this historic nightclub. I would love to explore all of the scents, but Emmanuelle’s review has cemented my interest in 1992 the most. My favorite Prince song must be “1999”, as I was entering my party years right around the time it was fittingly resurrected. Thank you from the US.

  • Prince seems to be the perfect inspiration for this heady, decadent fragrance. I like the idea of tobacco and suede along with the white flowers. I am not familiar with the brand but 1978 seems like a good choice. My favorite song by Prince is Gold. I live in the USA.

  • I liked the look back at a time that is so different from the present. Purple Rain comes to mind as a song;how could it not? I liked 2018 and 2015 as well as 1992. Hard to choose. Thanks Emmanuelle for a most enjoyable review and many thanks to Les Bains Guerbois for making this draw possible. Would love to win it. I’m in the USA

Oh, that description of the Parisian young life made me jealous of the fact I did not experience it 🙁

Honestly would like to try any Les Bains Guerbois
My fav Prince song is Purple Rain!

I love touberose and I am verry curious about touberose from Purple Night. I am from Eu Bucharest Romania Europe

  • EDIT to my initial post on 22 February: After reading up on the house’s other fragrances, I was super excited to stumble across 1900 L Heure de Proust. Apart from the fact that the work of Proust speaks to me on a subconscious level, the relevant fragrance contains blueberry and black tea, simply delicious! My favourite Prince song is actually one he has written for Alicia Keys, called “How come you don’t call me anymore”. Groovy yet sensuous like only Prince can. Thank you Emmanuelle for your evocative and fun writing!

  • I enjoyed this review and a little walk through my own 1992 memories. The early ’90s bring back CK One memories for me but this sounds like an appropriate tribute to Prince. I wonder what he really wore! My favorite Prince song is I Wanna Be Your Lover. I’m in the US.

  • Thanks Emmanuelle for very beautiful review!
It was interesting to know that Carnal tuberose is representing the genius of Prince! I’m wondering which ingredient is associated with me?))

Emmmanuelle’s image of the silk shirt was perfect!

  • Emmanuelle’s review caused me to want to try, not only this fragrance, but all of the fragrance releases from this fragrance house. I like the idea that this fragrance has, at least somewhat, of a vintage feel to it. I also like the idea that this fragrance seems to have good overall performance. I like how Emmanuelle describes certain aspects of this fragrance. I live in MD., U.S.A.

  • I liked Emmanuelle’s review for the argument it makes that tuberose is a scent analogous to Prince’s ethos. It’s a feminine note, but its strength and assertiveness lends itself to gender fluidity. Her descriptions of how Purple Night balances the tuberose with tobacco and patchouli makes me want to smell it. Winning a discovery set would be a great treat as this brand’s offerings sound provocative. I am most interested in trying the fragrance called Les Bains Douches because it is by Bertrand Duchaufour. Favorite Prince song would be Purple Rain, unless I can count Nothing Compares to You, which he wrote. I am in the US, in North Carolina.

  • wallygator88 says:

Thank you for the excleent review Emmanuelle. I love the carnal aspect of Purple Night, it’s moodiness, it’s interplay between genders based on the notes and it’s eloquence.

    RIP Prince.

I think Sulfureux sounds the most appealing (but I would be happy to try any of those fragrance)

Of course, Kiss and Purple Rain have to be my favourites

    Cheers from WI, USA

  • Thank you Emmanuelle for this evocative review channeling not just the flash and exuberance of the 90s but the post-pandemic roaring 20s and the late 19th century as well, a perfect tribute to an artist who transcended such boundaries himself. The perfume sounds like it will suit him as well! Tuberose is a fantastic pick for Prince, L’heure de Proust has been on my list to try for a while but Purple Night is on there too now. I’m in the US and would love to enter the draw, thank you 🙂 my fav Prince song is I Wanna Be Your Lover

I loved Emmanuelle’s review of Les Bains Guerbois 1992 Purple Night. Master Perfumer Dominique Ropion pays tribute to a historical event that took place at the Les Bains nightclub in Paris in 1992. Prince one of greatest musicians of all time was there. The fragrance sounds as great as it would have been at Les Bains nightclub in 1992. I would love to try Les Bains Guerbois 1992 Purple Night. My favorite Prince song is “Purple Rain”

  • I really, really like the look and the presentation of the line! Most intriguing for me to try is Les Bains Sulfureux and Les Bains Douches. Glad to hear they have a purple new-comer. I don’t know any Prince’s song, but in photos he looks stylish.
I live in EU and would love to win a sample set, thank you!

  • Emmanuelle’s review instantly transports me to one of Prince’s concerts. Tuberose, the queen of princess of perfumes and the Prince of the stage make a beautiful duet, performing my favorite song, Purple Rain.
I haven’t tried the perfumes of this house, but I would love to, of course.

  • After reading Emmanuel’s review and tribute to Prince, I would choose 1992. I wish I could have visited Les Bains in its heyday. I did, however, do my fair share of clubbing in Chicago around this time. The tuberose and tobacco accord sound very sensual. My favorite Prince song is “The Cross.”
    I live in the USA.

  • I’m ashamed to admit I don’t know many of Prince’s songs (my favorite is When Doves Cry, which is probably a basic answer) so I loved this review for making me feel like I was actually at a Prince concert, awash in excitement and tuberose! I’ve just started learning about this brand as well and am dying to try all of them, Le Phenix most of all. Thank you for this wonderful draw, and the wonderful review/glimpse of Paris in the 90’s! I’m currently based in London, UK

  • It was very interesting reading that little throwback to 92 a year I rember very weel myself albeit I was a kid so it was differnet memories that and experiences that came to mind. My favorite Prince song is Kiss, and I would love to try 1992 Purple Night , that one sounds very nice.

Oooo, I love Tuberose! 1992 Purple Night sounds like a fantastic take on Tuberose, and how it is connected to Prince. I’ve never tried anything from Les Bains Guerbois and would love to be considered for a discovery set. Thanks for the informative article and the giveaway. Located in the USA.

I am really upset I missed the deadline, I can’t believe I forgot to write a message seeing that I absolutely love Prince and this fragrance really intrigues me!! I’d love to leave a comment anyway even if I am not entitled to participate but I really appreciate the reviews and I also like to read comments from the community! My favourite song from Prince is of course Purple Rain, followed by Raspberry Beret, and the notes of tobacco, tuberose and tonka sound really incredible!! I am not familiar with the brand so I need to find a retail here in Italy to be able to sample their fragrances!

  • Lovely article for a brand i did not know about. I would like to try purple night cause i like tobacco with mandarin. Im from Greece

I love tuberose! Les Bains Guerbois 1992 Purple Night seems to be a very heady, decadent and carnal tuberose,
delightful perfume, with , jasmine, patchouli, tobacco, suede notes. I am from Eu Bucharest Romania Europe

  • I’ve been looking fo a perfume that has been associated to Prince.I hope this was his choice of combinations that you came up with that you thought he smelled like.
