As the summer sun blazes, the fragrance world is buzzing with the juicy, playful notes of strawberry and banana, stealing the spotlight in countless new releases. Yet, no brand has captured this fruity fervor with the electrifying energy of Jusbox Perfumes, a house that blends music and scent into a singular, soul-stirring experience. Their latest launch, Sisters B4 Misters, is a jubilant celebration of female empowerment, inspired by the iconic Spice Girls and their unapologetic mantra of individuality, friendship, and sisterhood.

Jusbox Perfumes, founded by the visionary V Monkeys duo—Andrea and Chiara Valdo—has always been a fragrance house which is a love letter to music. Each scent in their collection is a carefully curated vinyl record, spinning stories of genres, artists, and cultural moments that have shaped our world. From the sultry jazz of Carioca Heart, with its mango and rum groove, to the rebellious punk of Black Powder, Jusbox transforms melodies into olfactory symphonies. Their fragrances are time capsules, evoking the raw emotion of a song or the electric pulse of a performance. With Sisters B4 Misters, Jusbox turns the dial to the 90s pop phenomenon of the Spice Girls, capturing their infectious energy and the cultural shift they ignited with their bold, empowering anthems.

A dazzling stage, pulsating with lights and music, five women stride forward—Sporty, Posh, Baby, Ginger, and Scary—each radiating her own distinct charisma. The crowd roars, swept up in the contagious energy of the Spice Girls, a band that redefined pop culture with their fierce individuality and unshakable unity. Jusbox Sisters B4 Misters channels this moment, embodying the group’s mantra of “girl power” and their celebration of friendship as a force stronger than any romantic entanglement. The fragrance is a tribute to the bonds between women—those shared laughs, late-night confidences, and unwavering support that lift us higher. It’s a reminder that true strength lies in sisterhood, in celebrating each other’s quirks and dreams.

The Spice Girls’ story is one of defiance and triumph. When their debut single, Wannabe, was deemed too chaotic by record labels and snubbed by the BBC, the group stood firm, declaring it “non-negotiable.” That audacity birthed a global phenomenon, with chart-topping hits and a message of inclusivity that resonated worldwide. Jusbox captures this spirit in Sisters B4 Misters, crafting a scent that’s as bold, playful, and uplifting as the Spice Girls themselves. I think many of us can relate to the times when we had their albums on replay and our walls covered in their posters.

Composed by Nelly Hachem-Ruiz, a perfumer whose sparkling creativity shines in every composition, Sisters B4 Misters is a blend of five key ingredients, each chosen to reflect the distinct personalities of the Spice Girls. Hachem-Ruiz, known for her ability to weave vibrant, emotive stories through scent, created a fragrance that’s both a nostalgic nod to the 90s and a fresh, modern celebration of femininity. The perfume  opens with an exhilarating burst of spicy ginger, juicy lime, and blackcurrant, a trio that’s as lively as a Spice Girls performance. The ginger, embodying the fiery spirit of Ginger Spice, crackles with energy, while the lime heart—Sporty’s dynamic signature—adds a zesty, athletic freshness. Blackcurrant brings a tart, playful edge, setting the stage for the joyous journey ahead. At the heart, a banana and strawberry delight accord steals the show, evoking the carefree charm of Baby Spice. This fruity duo, so on-trend for summer 2025, dances with the delicate floral grace of lily of the valley and the sophisticated allure of iris (a nod to Posh’s elegance). The result is a playful yet refined blend that feels like a sunny afternoon with your best friends, laughing over shared secrets. The drydown settles into sugared milk accord that’s creamy, comforting, and utterly addictive—Baby’s youthful warmth in liquid form. Sandalwood adds a sensual, grounding touch, while radiant amber, embodying Scary’s fearless strength, leaves a warm, lingering trail that’s both empowering and inviting.

Oh, this is interesting. The perfume has 78 ML and I was born in 1978. This is just meant to be mine. I love note of a strawberry and pretty much any berries ate my favorite notes and perfumes so I’ll be very interested in delightful if I was a winner for this beauty.

I’ve only tried Fifty Four from Jusbox so this would have to be my favorite of the brand by default. If you wanna be my lover, you gotta give me this win! Music , touches , feelings from a different timeline , and also unique bottles and timeline to be inspired from. Jusbox is a house everyone should try.
Olya Bar take on Sisters B4 Misters made me think of being in Miami, making Banana and Strawberry Cheesecake , and later on eating it on the beach with cassis juice, enjoying the atmosphere , and the Spice Girls Spotify playlist created for Sisters B4 Misters .
I know he’s no longer part of Cafleurebon for a few years now , but aftet watching Sebastian Yara Green Bubble video for Cafleurebon, I bought Jusbox discovery set from Twisted Lily , I think it was right around the time when merging with Europerfumes happened .
In my Pastry Chef mind I do believe the two best Jusbox fragrances are Beat Cafe and Golden Serenade .
Appreciate the review, the Spice Girls Spotify playlist link , and the giveaway campaign

  • A delightful musical comedy on Peacock streaming service called Girls5eva came to mind as I clicked on the article after reading the title and seeing the bottle.

Those scent notes sound lovely, despite the association with the Spice Girls. LOL.

  • I forgot to add that I am in the US.

Jusbox has had some major releases come out in recent years and this one seems to be on pace to become the next big one. Carioca Heart is a favorite of mine but Sisters B4 Misters could quickly become another favorite. Banana and strawberry on a fragrance is something you don’t see everyday so Jusbox is taking risks with their releases. The sugared milk accord also adds a milky/creamy touch which is so trendy nowadays. I think this fragrance will have mane fans and I will be one of them. Thanks to Twisted Lilly for the giveaway and I’m located in the USA.

  • I love the idea that each of the five main notes represent one of the spice girls and how all work in harmony to create a gorgeous perfume. Spice Girls came about while I was in college and I have many fond memories of their songs. I really enjoy jusbox perfumes especially Carioca Heart.

  • jennapark says:

Jusbox taking inspiration from the Spice Girls is fabulous. The Sprice Girls for me represented girl power being a strong woman and being unique. I was a young teenager at their peak of fame and remember singing to their songs in my parents car. I really like Carioca Heart. I enjoy the way they did mango and i’m sure strawberry is done just as well. The bottle with pink juice is stunning and feminine. What peaks my interest is first the Spice Girls inspiration. I also love the name Sisters B4 Misters. From the review it sounds like Jusbox did an amazing job capturing a fun day with the girls with playful elegance. The combination of notes sound beautiful and i really enjoy fruity notes in the summer. Thank you from Pennsylvania USA

  • I’ve always been more into R&B music , but of course I’m aware of Spice Girls, the pop phenomenon of the 90s. I’m also familiar with Jubox , quite a funky and interesting brand with different size bottles, design. I like all the unique , connected to music things they do bring to the table. Of course not every fragrance is appealing to me , but Green Bubble, Night Flow , Beat Cafe , Golden Serenade, Siren & Sailors are all really good.
In Sisters B4 Misters I like the passionate look on strawberries and banana , the subtle creamy sandalwood character, ginger , and the older rums cuddling touch. A modern happy fragrance with a nod to an iconic pop band of the 90s like Spice Girls
My favorite Jusbox fragrance is Golden Serenade

I live in the USA and would love to win Sisters B4 Misters because Olya’s review makes it sound like pure bottled joy—bold, nostalgic, and unapologetically fun. I grew up with the Spice Girls blasting from every radio, and their message of empowerment and individuality still resonates with me today. As a man, I love fragrances that challenge traditional gender lines, and this strawberry-banana-lime combo with a creamy sugared milk drydown sounds like a deliciously confident statement. My favorite Spice Girl is Ginger—fiery, fearless, and unforgettable—and my favorite Jusbox perfume is Black Powder for its raw, rebellious vibe.

  • absurdnose says:

This sounds so fun! I love the addition of ginger to a fruity mix of notes. That’s very apt for the theme now that I think about it. I still get the the spice girls in my head to this day! Millennial problems 🙂 . I would love to try this! Thanks for the draw. I live in the USA

  • ianbradleyandrews says:

I love Jusbox and this one sounds so intriguing. Strawberry isn’t very common so that’s what is the most appealing thing to me. I’d love to win and live in Indiana.

  • teatreesoil says:

the packaging is so cute!!! i agree very much with olya’s assertion that sisters b4 misters is both a throwback to the 90’s and on trend with current day summer styles, with the strawberry and banana notes… 90’s girlhood is back! i think sporty spice’s contribution/inspiration of lime makes her my favorite here…

  • goldenswan says:

What caught my attention in Olya’s review is how bold and fresh this fragrance sounds, really cool and empowering. I’ve always been a fan of Mel B from the Spice Girls because she’s so confident and fun. I haven’t tried any Jusbox perfumes yet, but I’m curious to see what they’re all about. USA

  • What a fun muse for a perfume. Although I wasn’t a spice girl fan I totally get the vibe from the description (guessing I might love black powder myself). What a fun summer scent. In maryland.

  • Sounds like a cocktail based on the notes. Very interesting, I think my significant other would be into this considering she loves youthful perfumes of both fruity and floral varieties. I’m not very familiar with the Spice Girls besides their hits, but she is a big fan. Awesome review.

  • petergigov says:

Jusbox Perfumes Sisters B4 Misters i have not smelled, but Black Powder i own . Dense, dark and sweet fruity leather , with high compliment factor. I’m a vain guy, and Black Powder is one of my most complimented fragrances ever.
I wonder how good Sisters B4 Misters is if even Olya is thrilled? Her review was like a trip to the beach with a big bowl of tropical fruits, creamy sandalwood , Spice Girls music , interesting slightly nostalgic 90s experience with modern twist.
    Overly exciting giveaway, USA
    Regards

  • Spice up your life! Oh I remember the Spice Girls. They certainly represented a more joyous time in this world. The overarching female empowerment theme was welcome especially with the sense of fun and color they brought. Sisters B4 Misters exemplifies the playful spirit with the fruit, florals, sandalwood and ginger (for Ginger spice of course). Sounds like a hoot! MD, USA

  • When I first heard about this scent being inspired by the Spice Girls, I didn’t expect it to be a blend if their personalities through 4 main note components. That is clever. I have not yet tried any Jusbox scents. I <3 Ginger Spice. Thank you for the review, Olya.

  • I can’t get enough of Olya Bar reviews , I just can’t
The Jusbox bottles are really nice especially the vinyl cap . What i like about the brand is the fact that the V Monkeys duo—Andrea and Chiara Valdo follow their own path , and do not follow trends . My favorite Jusbox is Siren & Sailors.Peachy , boozy , musky scent inspired by the late Amy Winehouse RIP.
Hello Sporty, Posh, Baby, Ginger, and Scary, Hello 90s Spice Girls music and mouthwatering fruity , milky and woody concoction called Sisters B4 Misters . The music from Spotify playlist created for the fragrance , fun Summer vacation, basket full of fruits and Olya lecturing all about, I’m so impressed by the energy coming from Sisters B4 Misters ❤ I love when a fragrance feels both nostalgic and forward-thinking at the same time
    Thank you for the opportunity

I think Olya’s review of sisters b4 misters is so inviting! Black currant is an amazing note and one I tend to gravitate for especially when looking at blind buys! I love fresh fruity fragrances. The part of her review that really got to me is the nostalgia she describes! I’m a 90s baby and I love that era! To relive it would be a dream! You know how scents have memories?? I think she really portrays this feeling with this fragrance. I am actually on the hunt for a beautiful feminine fragrance. And to be homage for the Spice Girls??? It has to be the absolute perfect feminine scent. Posh was my favorite! I still love to keep up with her today. She has the best style! As far as my favorite Jusbox scent, of course it’s Carioca heart!

I will forever be grateful for every opportunity that is given on this page!

I’ve yet to experience Jusbox fragrances, though I’ve known of their work for some time. A discovery set of sorts is in my future. I do not yet have a favorite, though Black Powder may be up there. My favorite Spice Girl was always Sporty Spice. I related to her attitude the most. If I were to choose now, however, it would probably be Scary Spice, for reasons I won’t go into. As a fan of banana in fragrance, I’m very happy to be seeing this breakdown. Strawberry, banana, milk, ginger, iris, sandalwood… the perfect grouping. I can’t wait to reminisce on a once global phenomenon while wearing this. I live in Oregon.

Make it last forever, friendship never ends

“Wannabe” was such a massive hit , and still is after close to 30 years later top 5 best selling debut singles of all time.
I’ve been a fan of Chiara and Andrea Valdo for a long time, the CEOs and masterminds behind Jusbox Perfumes , Costume National and V-Monkeys lab . I know all Jusbox Perfumes fragrance, including Sisters B4 Misters and if I have to rate my favorite ones:
    1. Golden Serenade / Fifty Four
    2. Beat Cafe
    3. Carioca Heart / Sisters B4 Misters
I was able to smell the fragrance thanks to a friend of mine who came back from Esxence , and Sisters B4 Misters surprised me in a good way, it’s honoring Spice Girls and the 90s I agree but smells modern to me , delicious, joyful and so vibrant . I agree with Olya the opening is fresh and spicy , but quickly Sisters B4 Misters turns into full time gourmand. It’s creamy and milky indeed, to me literally smells like a cake with pink frosting , mouthwatering juicy fruity, leaning on the banana and strawberries , milkshakes and party time with Spice Girls music.
The Spotify playlist created for Sisters B4 Misters is so 90s , all 15 songs do fit the fragrance very well .
All profiles I already follow, @waltherp99bg

I wasn’t the biggest fan of the Spice Girls, but I can admit they helped make the 90s an amazing decade, a decade that was so much fun, so exuberant, and just so cool to live through. Even though I was more a fan of grunge, I loved dancing to the song “Spice up Your Life.” Sisters B4 Misters sounds like a joyful fragrance, especially the strawberry and banana notes. My favorite member was Ginger Spice, which reflects my love of ginger in fragrances.
I live Carioca Heart from Jusbox.
    I live in the USA.

  • I like the idea of all the notes, each representing an individual Spice Girl, all swirling together harmoniously, as the Spice Girls’ vocals do in real life. I would have to say Sporty Spice is my favorite, although I don’t have a favorite Jusbox fragrance, as this, if I am lucky enough to win it, would be my first! I am in MA.

  • Fun tribute to the Spice Girls and introduction to this playful Jusbox fragrance. The banana and strawberry combination is straight out of that era’s lip gels, but Sisters B4 Misters wisely includes a hit of blackcurrant, Lily of the Valley, and the creamy base to add some complexity. Great bottle too. I want to check out more from this brand.

    I’m in the USA.

  • OMG! I loved JusBox so much I have Carioca Heart! When I smell this new fragrance in the store like a month ago, I was immediately captivated for the mix of fruity notes like strawberry and banana, but kind of sugared milk and amber. In my perspective it’s a fun, playful scent, reminiscent of fruity candy or birthday cake frosting, but with enough complexity to avoid being childish. Have an amazing projection and I’m sure that’s going to be the most used fragrance this summer. Olya’s review says that the inspiration for this is “a jubilant celebration of female empowerment, inspired by the iconic Spice Girls and their unapologetic mantra of individuality, friendship, and sisterhood.” My favorite Spiced Girl was Posh. Love it! From USA.

  • wallygator88 says:

Really neat fragrance! I love that each of the notes references on of the Spice Girls.

    The presentation is beautiful.

My favourite spice girl is probably Scary.

I love a banana note in fragrance. Olya’s description of this being fun and independent, modern but authentic is very intriguing. I’d love to win a bottle to sample this. I was not into them or their music much but my daughter loved it. She was a little girl when this song came out and if was on the radio she was dancing. Her favorite member was Baby Spice. Neither of us have ever tried a Jusbox fragrance. I live in the USA.

  • Froaderick says:

This would be more for wifey, but seems right up her alley! Sweet but not TOO sweet. Feminine yet edgy, and playful with classy undertones. Scary Spice always struck the right notes with her fierce persona. We had the chance to sample FiftyFour a few months ago and immediately bought a full bottle! Everything about that fragrance just WORKS. Excited to experience this latest creation! Cheers from Ohio, USA! 🙂

  • I love the pink color and it does remind me of strawberries. I like bursts of ginger. It’s a spicy refreshing note. And black currant can be ultra sweet so good to see it’s got its tartness still there. I do not have many gourmands, still trying to find ones I love but this might be it! I am in the US.

  • I remember my sister’s first CD was by the Spice Girls so the concept of this perfume really takes me back to my childhood, but Olya’s description makes it sound like a perfume that I would really enjoy today. The combination of spicy, fruity, and gourmand notes – plus, to be real, the adorable bottle – is just so very cute. I had an affinity for Ginger spice because I wanted to dye my hair red when I was a kid, but didn’t get to do that until I was a teen. Hehe. This is my first introduction to Jusbox. I am in the USA, thank you so much for the fun review and generous draw.

  • roxhas1cat says:
