For the first time, Jéroboam breaks its historical codes and swaps its black and gold flacon for an orange one. Here is why:

“By dint of meetings and discussions generally around a real Karak,  Abdulaziz Al Ajail Abdulaziz one day told François Henin, the brand owner, about his experience of what he considers to be a glimpse of heaven on earth; the Maltese island of Gozo which has its own magical aspect. At the crossroads of worlds and times, it contains vestiges of past settlements and of successive domination by the Phoenicians, Romans, Arabs, Sicilians, the British or the French. Its coastal coves are like surreal postcards. In the evening, the winds seem to bring scents from both Africa and Europe.

 We are at the crossroads of continents, in Mediterranean land: generous, sunny and rich in flavors that are at once so simple, subtle and yet so rich. The idea of transcribing his memory into perfume will quickly become a challenge between the two enthusiasts. As for all other extracts of Jeroboam perfumes, it is the independent perfumer Vanina Muracciole who transcribed the artistic vision of  Abdulaziz Al Ajail Abdulaziz in perfume. Two years after the start of the project Jeroboam GOZO took its first steps during an exceptional evening at the prestigious Al Hazm Perfumery Exhibition in Doha, Qatar. Now the precious nectar can be found in all Jovoy stores and in a handful of high end stores by summer 2020.”

Francois Henin wrote me, “Jeroboam GOZO has been created by Vanina Murracciole following artistic direction and friendly collaboration of Abdulaziz Al Ajail, an amazing person I had initially met at the grand opening of our first (out of 3 now) successful Jovoy franchises in Qatar.Since then we kept on meeting in Paris; London, Doha (when I could travel there). We finally could not resist anymore the temptation to collaborate and the fruit of this adventure is Jeroboam GOZO.  Abdulaziz alias zozalajail on Instagram is highly trusted by the community and to make it super short, after a soft launch in Doha before the coronavirus, we are launching it in our stores too in Paris and London, meaning both our websites in .com and UK. We will extend distribution this summer if we can, but for now we are always out of stock and  are doing what we can  to deliver this great success for us.”
