Gallagher Fragrances Cremelle Review (Daniel Gallagher) 2024 + Crème Brûlée Giveaway

Cremelle Gallagher Fragrances

Before we get to Steven’s review of Gallaher Fragrances Cremelle, I asked Art and Olfaction Award Winning perfumer, Daniel Gallagher about his creative process -MC

“Mindy and I set out to create a fragrance that embodied the essence of comfort, drawing inspiration from the indulgent and creamy nature of Crème Brûlée. Our goal was to craft something sweet and rich, but with enough complexity to balance the decadence. The first step was to choose the core note. Mindy proposed a Crème Brûlée note, which instantly felt like the right direction. However, instead of using it as just a simple element, we aimed to elevate it, ensuring it remained the focal point without being overshadowed by other ingredients. To enhance the indulgent nature of Crème Brûlée, we blended it with caramel, deepening the sweetness and evoking the scent of bruleed sugar.

As the fragrance developed, we incorporated French vanilla, musk, and sandalwood, which softened the composition and provided a smooth, velvety finish. The result was a fragrance that felt both indulgent and comforting, with layers of complexity that kept it interesting without being too heavy. From there, we worked on creating harmony by selecting complementary notes. We began with a fresh, citrusy opening of bergamot, grapefruit, and lemon—notes that would offer brightness and a refreshing contrast to the rich, creamy heart. The process of refining the formula involved a lot of trial and error—testing different ingredients to ensure the fragrance remained balanced and harmonious. The final product, Gallagher Fragrances Cremelle, is a perfume that revolves around the central theme of Crème Brûlée, while incorporating enough contrast to keep it fresh, balanced, and truly wearable.” – Daniel Gallagher, perfumer for Gallagher Fragrances

It’s no surprise to anyone I live a gourmand scent. We’re running out of pastries to create fragrances based on so we must create new pastries and new fragrances inspired by them. Gallagher bottles I’ve always thought were very chic and streamlined. This fragrance has 2 of my favorite notes (caramel and vanilla) and the crème brûlée accord really cements what this fragrance is based on. I can tell this one is a true sweet and gourmand fragrance so if you don’t have a sweet tooth, look elsewhere. I imagine in replicating a scent/feeling, Daniel is completely right it takes a lot of trial and error and different mods in order to achieve greatness. I own Angel’s Share by Killian so I’m going to love as it’s in the same vein like Steven said. I follow CaFleureBonOfficial on IG and my username is Ramses.d.perez. I’m located in the USA.

  • As always, Steven’s review is so detailed and informative. I’m a gourmand lover and Cremelle sounds amazing.

  • Garland Butler says:

I don’t know anything about this fragrance. But listening to the reviews i would love to be able to try this. I am always looking for something new to add to my collection. I hope that I will get that chance.

  • I’m sitting here under a winter storm watch, reading these words, listening to Daniel, and craving this so hard. I love that it has some citrus because it seems this would keep the sweet aspects from being overly suffocating. I love most caramel and vanilla and would love to try this. Thanks so much for this opportunity to do so. I’m freezing here in the US.

I’ve been watching for a while, and like all of his other videos, Stevens video was detailed but also concise. When he was describing it, I thought “that sounds like a Valentine’s day scent” and then he said he was recording on Valentine’s Day and I laughed at the irony.

I think that the fact that Daniel and his wife created this together is beautiful. As a gourmand lover, I appreciate that they took a “comforting, warm but not overbearing” approach to creating this. As much as I love gourmands some can be cloying and heavy and from looking at the notes, this doesn’t look like it would be that way. I haven’t sampled it but it’s added to my ever growing list . Thank you for putting this on my radar .

  • Layla Martinez says:

The description of the fragrance by both Daniel and Steven sound delicious and comforting. My favorite dessert happens to be creme brulee and I can almost smell it just reading the notes and descriptions of it. Can’t wait to get my hands on it. Tonka peach sounds real good too.

  • Neta A Davis says:

This was a very interesting and informative review. I always enjoy and appreciate the content of Steven and closely follow his recommendations. I can’t wait to try this one.

  • I am so intrigued by the way Steven described this scent. I love vanilla and sandalwood together and patchouli can be a hard note for me but him describing is as chocolate leaning sounds beautiful. Elevating creme brulee with fresh and woody notes sounds so interesting. I’m so excited to smell it. It sounds like working with your wife you put your heart in it. Congratulations on your success and thank you for what sounds like a great fragrance.

  • I loved the descriptions by both Daniel and Steven. I have a sweet tooth, and I can’t wait to try Cremelle. I think it’s such a beautiful thing that it was created by a husband and wife.

  • Jessica De La Cruz says:

Steven’s review was fantastic. The fragrance sounds so delicious. Full of rich and sweet ingredients that almost make you want to taste it. The thought of the vanilla and sandalwood just gave me a warm and comforting feeling.

  • Sounds delicious! A “whisper of citrus” in a creme brulee makes me think of the leche flan my mom used to make for special occasions. She’d always add a tiny bit of lemon but it wasn’t really obvious. Cremelle creamy, and sweet… Warm with incense and wood… Sounds lovely. While Steven might not think it office appropriate, I’d probably where it wherever. Plus, we used to have sweet treats in the office all the time! So, why not? lol TBH it sounds like a favorite cozy sweater vibe.

  • Eris.can.swatch.kaos says:

I’m absolutely a fan of sweet dessert-like fragrances that have depth of character and bold note structures. I can easily see this becoming a favorite of mine. I enjoyed reading about the process of choosing what notes to add to the creme brulee accord to achieve something substantial and beautiful. Steven’s review was a stellar one and I’m certainly intrigued as a result. I just adore how he describes the different facets of this fragrance and how they come together as a whole. Also, as an extrait de parfum I’m pleased to hear this has lasting power and projection. I’m a Redolessence subscriber and I follow Cafleurebon on insta, Eris.can.swatch.kaos is my handle. • My wife is a gourmand lover and I am always on the hunt for some of the best that fit her preference and this looks like she would absolutely love it!

Steven’s reviews are always on point. He’s a pillar in the fragrance community and he’s spent more of my money than I care to admit but I love to hear how he explains this fragrance in great detail. I hope to try this one day! Thank you for this opportunity!

  • Ann Phillippsen says:

1st time ever entering a giveaway but it just sounded so delicious & a fragrance that I would love to try!

  • Decadent milkiness, with that bruleed sugar is a fantastic and difficult scent to get right without coming off cloying. The creative process mixing and balancing notes using sandalwood and citrus to find the harmonious blend seems like Daniel and Mindy knocked this out. Steven’s review that it’s very gourmand and long lasting is up my alley.

  • Such a rich composition of notes! I like that Daniel described it as “The result was a fragrance that felt both indulgent and comforting, with layers of complexity that kept it interesting without being too heavy.” And Steven gave such an in depth review, describing it as a perfect gourmand that has an earthy vibe because of the patchouli note without smelling “like dirt”. Also, I like that Steven says the caramel note is not salty. It really sounds gorgeous!
    I live in the US.

  • I’m a gourmand lover Cremelle sounds delicious. Love the bottle. Steven’s review compared Angel’s Share by Killian I love that fragrance so I’m going to love Cremelle. Daniel is completely right it takes a lot of trial and error. The results sound like a beautiful gourmand. USA

  • I love gourmands, but only if they are complex and not TOO sweet. I trust Daniel Gallagher and his wife to create something special in this regard. I enjoyed Steven’s review.

  • Yum! A comforting vanilla forward gourmand. Although this is an homage to crème brûlée, the presence of the citrus in the opening reminds me of my other favorite egg and cream dessert, flan. The Spanish flan de naranja contains orange and lemon which brightens up the unctuous sweetened cream base. I love the presentation of the Gallagher bottle. MD, USA.

I love Gallagher Fragrances and this is a gourman heaven and I completely agree with Steven’s opinion on how decadent this caramel fragrance is mouth watering . From PA,USA

Both Daniel and Steven’s descriptions of the fragrance make it sound absolutely delicious and comforting. Creme brûlée is my favorite dessert, and just reading about the notes and details, I can almost smell it. I can’t wait to try it! Tonka peach also sounds amazing.
    I’m from USA

  • This sounds so beautiful. I watched Steven’s review on YouTube and he had my mouth watering! I love crème brûlée, and I think the addition of the citrus notes in the opening will be just perfect to lightly introduce this scent, like a squeeze of lemon rind over a beautiful cocktail. I would love to win this giveaway as my birthday is next week! But I would be very happy with a decant, too! lol. Congratulations to the winner in advance

  • Steve’s review is very explicit from top notes to base notes everything is well explained. I love cream brûlée I made this dessert for special occasions and the smell when I burning the sugar is so good.

  • The smell of caramelized sugar is wonderful, so I’m sure Cremelle will be a comforting wear for folks that enjoy gourmands. Daniel’s comments about balancing the fragrance are interesting—elevating the central note, softening the development with musk and sandalwood, using a citrus opening to contrast the heart. Steven pointed out the texture of the sandalwood and the restrained citrus, which isn’t how grapefruit is usually expressed. The chocolaty patchouli he highlighted also sounds nice in this context.

I’m in the USA. I follow @cafleurebonoffical on Instagram.

  • Sounds like they worked really hard to make this a balanced but still lux gourmand scent, not so focused on foody but on balance and sweet warmth! Steven always has my attention and he also named off several scents I adore so having it not smell like them but be in the mood makes it sounds right up my ally! I also agree that the presentation is great and that cap looks like caramel I want to eat!

  • Wow it’s almost a Gourmand Chypre, crème and caramel instead of a floral heart and minus the moss in the dry down… otherwise.. yep. I love a Chypre! It sounds lovely! I still haven’t tried this house which is a shame. I would truly adore a bottle of this. I am located in the USA and I follow Çafleurebon on instagram with my name samba.simone
    thank you for the giveaway!

  • I love to eat cream brûlée. That this is balanced and wearable makes me think it is a gourmand and still a perfume. . I am happy to see sandalwood in the base. I was pleased to hear Steven mention some incense in it. Extrait is a plus as well. Thanks for the review and the chance. I’ve not tried this line. USA.

I really like reading about Daniel and Mindy Gallagher’s process starting with the core note of creme brulee for comfort and then building out, adding complimentary notes. It’s always interesting to learn how a perfumer creates a fragrance. I’m a big fan of Gallagher and this one sounds great. Again, Steven’s review is so informative and the fact that he calls it a gourmand gem pretty much means I will love it! Steven mentions the creamy sandalwood here and that is a note I have been gravitating towards lately. Steven also describes the patchouli as not soily, but more chocolately which is my favorite kind of patchouli. Thanks for the draw! From the US.

  • Carrie Hardison says:

What I love most about Daniel’s introduction is that he makes it very clear that it is a collaboration between him and his wife, Mindy. Referring to her by name and using WE and OUR when talking about the process. Nothing better than teamwork!

I love watching Steven’s video reviews. His direct but expressive style is something I appreciate very much. I like that he’s not overly chatty.

I follow from two different IG accounts. @carrie_earle and @thenailnovice

Thank you to Daniel and Mindy of Gallagher Fragrances for their generous donation giveaway!

  • Regis Monkton says:

I like musky patchouli fragrances, and Gallagher Fragrances Cremelle seems like it could technically be a musky patchouli, but an interesting gourmandish fragrance at the same time. I’m very interested to see what a creme brulee-style fragrance would smell like, and also, I’m interested to try something from Gallagher Fragrances. According to Daniel G., it sounds like Cremelle went through a lot of trial and error, so it seems like a lot of thought was put into it. I live in MD, USA.

  • From Gallagher Fragrances I know Amongst Waves, Rose All Dae and Behold Patchouli. Currently I have Rose All Dae, and Amongst Waves , the latter I’d buy soon for the 3rd time since my second bottle is almost gone.
Cremelle i think is modern, multifaceted fragrance with a high compliment factor. All nuances Daniel Gallagher and Steven told us about i find attractive, the caramel, cedar and vanilla ,and especially the delicious profile. Blended to perfection ingredients i believe. I like everything about Cremelle , and I’d wear it on dates .

“Mindy proposed a Crème Brûlée note, which instantly felt like the right direction. However, instead of using it as just a simple element, we aimed to elevate it, ensuring it remained the focal point without being overshadowed by other ingredients. .”

All is from Daniel Gallagher introduction , and made me smile because of the memories of his collaboration with his wife Mindy.
My favorite Gallagher Fragrances perfume is Rose All Dae
    Overly exciting giveaway, USA

  • Time flies unbelievably fast , we’re in 2025 already, but It was 2016 when I discovered Daniel Gallagher work, when I watched Steven and Carlos video on YouTube , RIP good guy. Ever since I’m Daniel supporter , I love not just his fragrances ,but also his approach to customers. Daniel has always been helpful to me , answering all my extra questions , and replying to every DM and comment on Instagram. Last time we chatted was a few weeks ago about potentially bringing back the long discontinued Peaches and Campfire.
I’m familiar with all of Daniel Gallagher work, and if I had to rate my favorite ones available on the market right now :
    1. Rosé All Day / Carpe Cafe , the second, reworked limited edition version. Again Daniel explained me on Instagram the differences between the two versions
    2. Creèmelle
    3. Wicked Good / Baklava / TONKAPEACH
I’m very much surprised that Steven is not getting freshly brewed coffee and incense too , Creèmelle is indeed gooey sweet and long lasting, but both the espresso and the incense are also quite prominent on my skin . Like Steven said a dream for every gourmand lover .
The intro i also enjoyed, I always like learning about what goes through perfumers mind when composing a fragrance, and especially how Daniel was striving for a balanced gourmand centered around Crème Brûlée.
    All profiles I already follow , @waltherp99bg
    Thanks a lot

  • I’m impressed by Daniel Gallagher life journeys , I truly am . I admire people who know what they want in life, and most importantly how to achieve their goals , I remember last year Michelyn told us about his remarkable military career, and now he’s a successful perfumer . Daniel Gallagher is also independent , admirable approach.
From Gallagher Fragrances I own Amongst Waves , tropical and happy marine fragrance with juicy melon.
Cremelle is sophisticated gourmand , sweet and easy to wear, with balance between the crème brûlée, vanilla and patchouli . The new fragrance possess some happy markers, joyful reunions , comforting sweetness of home made crème brûlée moments. Sweet harmony achieved by trial and error since patience is always the key.
Thank you Michelyn, Steven, Daniel Gallagher

  • “The final product, Gallagher Fragrances Cremelle, is a perfume that revolves around the central theme of Crème Brûlée, while incorporating enough contrast to keep it fresh, balanced, and truly wearable.” – Daniel Gallagher

Love the sense of positivity, creativity and happiness in Daniel Gallagher work.
What appealed to me in Steven review is how genuinely amazed they are by Gallagher Fragrances as a brand , and in particular Cremelle.
Quite alluring, modern take on crème brûlée, that smells so alluring . Cremelle is complex, woody gourmand fragrance engulfing the wearer with a cozy transitional weather aura.
Daniel Gallagher now has the most photorealistic crème brûlée fragrance , and basically captures the essence of treasured family gatherings
    I own Rose All Dae
    Thanks for the draw
