  • Fave article: Is there a little black dress in your fragrance wardrobe? Yes, it's Beyond Love for me.
Dream victory scent: hard to choose betwixt the two, but if you insist…Histoires de Parfums

  • My favorite HdP article was the gastronomy/perfumery piece. My favorite M. Micallef entry was the Rose Aoud piece.  I would like to enter to win the Shanaan.  Thanks and happy almost birthday!

  • My favorite HdP article was "1889 Moulin Rouge- A Perfume that Can-Can!". I have a sample of it and it's delicious.

My favorite M. Micallef article is "When Niche is Nichest: M. Micallef Shanaan and Micallef Studio Lucky Charm". I have not tried any M.Micallef yet, unfortunately.

I would love to be entered in the draw to win Ambre 114 🙂

    Thank you!

  • I'd love to enter for 1969!
The Oud article with Micallef's Rose Oud was great but the French Gastronomy article with Histoires was fun…the couscous recipe!

  • you smell!!! says:

I'd like to be entered for the Histoires de Parfums Ambre 114. My favorite HdP article was the French Gastronomy and Perfumery and also wanna mention that my favorite is 1725 Casanova. My favorite Micallef article is "The Mysterious Oud Wood and its Ancient Heritage". Thanks for this amazing draw.

  • I have to agree with everybody else. French Gastronomy was my fav piece on HP.
Micallef  and The Mysterious Oud was great read as well.
Ambre 114 is my choice for this draw. Thank you for this opportunity.

  • I would love a bottle of Ambre 114!  Thanks for the draw.  As to favorite articles – for HdP – gastronomy and perfumery – looking forward to the scents of departure!!!  When will these be available?  🙂  As to M. Micallef – Sunny Fig!  I love fig scents.  Would love to try this one.

  • Another vote for French Gastronomy & Perfumery and, while not exclusively about M.Micallef, I enjoyed
    CaFleureBon’s Scents of Seduction. 🙂
I don't know any of the 4 mentioned, but Shanaan is most intriguing to me.

  • It's always interesting to pop in to see who is now wishing you a Happy Birthday.

Micallef is one of my favorite lines, with Mon Parfum being one of my all time favorites.  Imagine having 2 bottles! Oh la la!

Donna's recent piece "The Mysterious Oud Wood" was wonderful.  Informative without being boring and it reminded me about some scents I already have.

Favorite piece on Gérald Ghislain?  The one where he provided the recipe for Chocolate Espresso Trifle!

  • sonia garcia says:

I'd love to win the HdP Ambre 114! My two favorite pieces were:
    1. From the HdP line the one were you were choosing which scent you would like to eat! That was fun! I think it was called French Gastronomy and Perfumery.
    2. And the Micallef one was about the oud and being soooo mysterious, really good info about oud and all the different frgrances.

Thank you guys! And once again Happy Birthday!!!!

  • Micallef  and The Mysterious Oud is one of my favorites. Oud being one of my favorite notes. For me I would love to win HdP Ambre 114.

    Happy Birthday!!!

  • Claudia Kroyer says:

I am so happy we have a true french connection to some of the best fragrances as they do come from france. This is such a great give away and i love that the perfumers take the time to recognize Cafleurebon's birthday. My choices would either be the HdP 1969 or the Micallef Mon parfum. One of my other favorite articles was Renaissance Artist Arcimbaldo.

  • I'm in for Shannan, I've never tried it but for the description it sounds that is my kind of fragrance.
My favorite article about Micallef is the one about oud and his mysteriousness, also the one about Histoires de Parfums is the one about French Gastronomy and Perfumery. That was the one about the recipes…yummm.
    Thanks!

  • Scentabulous says:

I am so thrilled to wish you all a Happy Birth-week … I think we should celebrate the good things over time.  And what better to celebrate than the magnificent fragrances we can win.  I think we are all winners to have this passion and to connect in our wonderful community …
I would love to experience Mon Parfum … to know what makes our lady Michelyn so inclined to love it so.

  • Alexander Rachev says:

Thanks to the generosity of Gerald I was able to try most of his scents and I was surprised in the most possitive way.I was so excited about his work that I was happy to read every artical about Histoires des Parfums but I think my favourite is about the French Gastronomy and Parfumery.
I can't choose between Gerald's creations I will be happy with both Ambre 114 and 1969 so I'm leaving you to decide.

  • The Histoires de Parfums article I enjoyed the most was French Gastronomy and Perfumery and its Chocolate Espresso Trifle recipe. But I really appreciated Gerald Ghislain's comment in Our Fragrant Future is at Stake (June 23): "I will always fight against a sanitized and completely clean world where nothing would disturb the rest."
For Micallef my favourite article was The Mysterious Oud Wood, but I also enjoyed Mark's reviews of Micallef's Sous Le Figeur in November and  Shanaan and Lucky Charm in June. (I spent as much time drooling over the bottles in the last one as imagining the fragrances!)
Should I be lucky, my choices would be either the Histoires de Parfums Ambre 114 (so curious about its geranium note) or the Micallef Mon Parfum (would love to smell what Michelyn has been raving about).

  • Hi! Love both your pieces: M.Micallef "The Mysterious Oud Wood" and Gishlains "French Gastronomy and Parfumery". Please count me in the draw and let me win 1969 Hd and Shaanan M.Micallef 🙂 Have nice day!

  • AMBRE 114- 'An amber scent of odorous perfume, her harbinger' (J. Milton)…This fragrance must be sublime, and I would love to luxuriate in it…mysterious and complex, powerful and sensual- much as I imagine the personality of Colette (Olfactory Novelist and Goddess of the Senses). Yet another woman ahead of her times- As for M. Micallef- I am intrigued by MON PARFUM…the mixture of notes is unlike anything I've encountered before and seems to encapsulate all the contradiction inherent in womanhood- soft and floral, strong and musky, sexy vanilla- and the fact that Martine originally created it for herself…I must have it!

  • my favorite interview from Histoires de Parfums is "French Gastronomy and Perfumery" and about m.micaelef is "The mysterious oud wood & it's ancient heritage" because i really like Oud.
please include me in the draw for Histoires de Parfums Ambre 114.
    thanks

  • My fave of the HDP article,,,is the Gastronomy/Perfumery piece.  So much fun!  I also enjoyed the review of Sous le Figeur.   The bottle is gorgeous.  Also saw a similar bottle for Micallef that is gorgeous:  Pomme d'amour.  Green, too!!!!
In general the articles and photography on Cafleurbon are outstanding,,,to say the least!
Woud love Micallef's Mon parfum, or either of the HDP!!
    Thanks

  • You've brought my attention to the M.Micallef line, which I'd never heard of before, and now I'm getting furiously curious about it. I'd love to win the Shanaan, which was reviewed in the article "When Niche is Nichest."

  • I've just learned about M.Micallef thanks to this and like Nina Z post in the comments I'm now curious about looking into them more. I read the "Mysterious Oud Wood & It's Ancient Heritage" article and loved it! The Incense Oud by M.Micallef looks like something I'd like to try sometime soon.
Histoire de Parfumes have been a love of mine for years now. My favorite HDP article is "Colette: The Olfactory Novelist and goddess of the Senses" for HDP's 1873. I learn a lot that I didn't know and now whenever I wear 1873 I think of the South of France and the extraordinary life Colette lived. Also, I really enjoyed the HDP article for 1969 and loved the recipe, yum!
Please enter me for HDP 1969, thank you. 🙂

    Happy Anniversary!

  • I would love to try the mon parfum by Parfums M.Micallef. Sounds divine!  Wow, it looks like the Oud wood and Gastronomy articles are popular, but I would have to agree.

  • I'd love to be entered in the draw for HdP's 1969!  Currently, I own and love their Marquid de Sade.  Like many others, I enjoyed the French Perfumery and Gastronomy article, and the Mysterious Oud article.

  • I'm going with the crowd. I liked the French Gastronomy/Perfume article (chocolate expresso triffle!) and the Ouds article about Parfums M. Micallef. Please enter me for Shanaan…it sounds delicious!

  • My favourite interview /article was the January 2011 one about Histoires de Parfums. I love Tea Rose and want to thank-you for the chance to be in the draw .

  • I loved the recent article about oud from March 3, 2011.  It was both informative and inspiring.  I loved to find out where oud comes from and what are the cultural connections, and it was nice to read more about M.Micalef parfum, which I have already been intrigued by after the Valentine's day article that described Mon Parfum.  Someone's love (Michelyn's in this case) for a fragrance is always intriguing and contagious to me, regardless of whether the fragrance itself is my thing.
My favorite one about Histoires de Parfums was the earlier one (6/7/2010) on Colette and 1873.
Should I be the lucky winner, I'd love to win Shanaan.  From the two offered by Histoires de Parfums I'd prefer Ambre 114.

    Thank you!

  • I'd like to get the Shanaan, and its clear the best articles were the French Gastronomy and Perfumery, I still would love to have an ice cream with the Ambre Narguile flavor, yummm and also the Mysterious Oud article is great, now everybody loves oud, and only a few months back that wasn't that popular. Thanks and happy birthday to the team ca fleuere bon!!!!!

  • i also loved the French Gastronomy article on H de P, myself having lived in France and in love with cooking! as for Micallef, it was very interesting to read about Sheikh it up as i also thought Mme was "the nose".

i'd love to win 1969 or "Mon Parfum"!

  • Happy 1st Birthday, may we celebrate Birthdays for Ca Fleure Bon for many many more years to come 🙂
I would have to pick the Colette article, such an extraordinary Lady, and I love her libretto for Ravels L'enfant et les sortilèges, but want to add, that the description of Mon Parfum in the article of favorite spring scents, was very beguiling. Who wouldn't want a perfume which makes you smell "like wearing a satin strapless dress under a cashmere sweater" WOW!…Even for an incense fan like me, I would LOVE to win Mon Parfum.
Thank you for all the articles, review, interviews and for the wonderful picture side, which makes this blog so special.

  • Myra Clements says:

Happy 1st birthday Cafleurebon! and Thank you so much for this draw!! I am absolutely enamored by M. Micallef and would love to be included in the draw for Shanaan. Of my favorite articles on HdP, I most definitely enjoyed the article on French Gastronomy, especially the delectable sounding recipe that excited a craving for chocolate too! My favorite M.Micallef article was hands down on the mysterious oud. I am originally from India, however, I grew up in Dubai, so oud is a comfort fragrance for me. Now that I am settled in the U.S., oud is an instant connection to my childhood. I just absolutely enjoyed the article.
Thanks for such a wonderful blog!!
    Best wishes,
    Myra

  • I would definitely choose Ambre 114, though all 4 of these perfumes would be a delight to win! I just have a thing for wearing amber frags before bed while de-stressing from the day. 🙂

I loved your article on food/gastronemy and food; that's my favorite HdP article. The concept of the "creator of pleasures" is such a good one! I've just started really cooking a lot since I picked up the perfume habit and can see how they are linked. The oud article was my favorite regarding Micallef. I had just smelled an oud fragrance for the first time right before that, and it made me appreciate it far more (I think a lot of my love of perfume is based on education, so blogs like this are critical).
