Best Halloween Perfumes for 2023: Sweet Treats+ 3 You Should be Wearing Giveaway

Best Halloween Perfumes of 2023

No dark or spooky fragrances this year. For our Best Halloween perfumes of 2023 post, Steven and I co-curated three sweet scents we love and smell good enough to eat. So no tricks and all treats!

Prada Candy (Daniela Andrier) 2011: Is there a better name for a Halloween perfume than “candy? It is one of Prada’s most iconic fragrances and I have my original bottle from 2012. Daniela Andrier has a way with iris, and perhaps that is why the opening veers powdery. That quickly fades and warm balsamic benzoin is the star. While shopping at Bergdorf Goodman in 2009, I saw the limited-edition Prada no. 9 Benjoin and almost bought it, but balked at the price. Candy smells like a sister scent and has an overdose of benzoin (reportedly 12 percent), and the balsams at the base keep it sophisticated. It is sweet without being saccharine or syrupy. Cozy and comforting, especially great for the cooler climate. –Michelyn Camen, Editor-in-Chief

Listed notes are: musks, caramel, benzoin, vanilla

What would our Best Halloween perfumes of 2023 picks be without a deep, rich chocolate scent?

Strangelove NYC MeltMyHeart (Christophe Laudamiel): Meltmyheart is one of my favorite chocolate perfumes of all time, so if I went trick-or-treating at Jovoy Paris, Scent Bar or Indigo Perfumery, I would hope a sample made its way into my bag.  It is my number one choice for Best Halloween Perfumes for 2023 because wearing MeltMyHeart REALLY lives up to its name and melts my heart (and anyone around me every time I wear it). Meltmyheart is so darkly delish you’ll practically want to bite the sprayer. The dusty cocoa¸ an overdose of buttery orris (one of the most expensive ingredients in the world) and ylang feel plush and creamy and are intertwined in a deep (but not animalic) sustainable oud embrace. Wear AFTER THE HALLOWEEN PARTY and well, the rest is up to your imagination –Michelyn

Parfums de Marly Oriana (Nathalie Lorson and Hamid Merati-Kashani) 2021: This is Steven’s top choice for Halloween Perfumes for 2023 that are sweet treats. Steven hosted the U.S. debut at Saks Fifth Avenue in September 2021. His review is really comprehensive. From my intro to Steven’s video, “Oriana is inspired by Chantilly cream, for the first time combined with marshmallow. Its sensuality is expressed by an orange blossom from Morocco, of exceptional quality – like the ingredients of the citrus top notes – mandarin and bergamot from Italy, harvested by the best producers in the world. The heart of the perfume is based on red fruits (raspberry and black currant), which add a tangy, sparkling, joyful note. The musk base adds volume that combines with the marshmallow to give even more power and sensuality. –Nathalie Lorson

Top Notes: Mandarin, Bergamot, Grapefruit; Heart Notes: Orange Blossom, Blackcurrant, Raspberry, Base Notes: Marshmallow, Ambrette, Chantilly Cream, Musk

My choice is Parfums de Marly Oriana because is inspired by Chantilly cream combined with sensuality of orange blossom from Morocco with mandarin and bergamot from Italy.

  • Fantastic list by Michelyn and Steven, aka Redolessence.
I love the idea of sweet fragrances for Halloween. These 3 are fantastic fragrances that are really outstanding. I have tried Prada Candy since my sister bought it in 2015, such a wonderful fragrance.
Oriana is something that I really want to try since I am a huge PDM fan and they only make true gems. So I hope I win Parfums de Marly Oriana but if I would win Melt My Heart I would be so happy aswell.
    USA here

  • My choice is 15 ml Meltmyheart. I loved How in depth Steven was and what an amazing and helpful listing of perfumes it was. Michelyn’s introduction was an amazing voyage through exceptional perfumes with sweet notes. I live in Trzebnica, Poland, EU. I am an Insta follower. My name: @insztagramekphoto

  • Meltmyheart has my heart! I love chocolate note. Text and video were both SO fun and informative. Would love to win meltmyheart, from EU.
(also oriana is cool, but a bit too marshmallowy for my taste, I still adore Natalie Lorson).

  • Ramses Perez says:

I’d love to win Oriana by Parfums De Marly. The creaminess and the color of the bottle that pops out truly puts me in the Fall/Halloween mindset. Like Steven said, it’s the sweetest by Parfums De Marly and good enough to be eaten like Michelyn said. It’s truly one of the best by the brand. Cheers from NJ, USA.

  • Michelyn and Steven’s I hope that friday 13 be my lucky day! I prefere meltmyheart, but will be happy with anyone of that beauty’s. I’m from Miami. Thank you very much!

  • I enjoyed Steven’s video and in particular his explanation of Melt My Heart, that it is definitely fall and winter appropriate and the quick facts about the perfumer as well. Michelyn’s intro naming Melt My Heart #1 Halloween perfume was definitely intriguing as well. I love iris and the chocolate combining with it and oud sounds great. Thanks for the generous draw, from CT USA.

  • A perfume for after the Halloween party definitely makes for a more memorable night. I’m also into biting the sprayer. Stephen’s and Michelyn’s love for the chocolate/orris blend in meltmyheart makes this my top pick for Halloween antics and such. Thank you, I live in NY.

  • My choice would be meltmyheart based on Michelyn’s review. I love how Steven always goes over the whole package and gives such a great description of each scent. In maryland

  • Scentsational Exchange says:

What a delightful selection of sweet and tempting fragrances. Definitely, sweet frags are suitable for Halloween in my opinion. The descriptions of each perfume are vivid, and I literally sense the passion Michelyn and Steven have for these scents.
The mention of Prada Candy’s warm benzoin and Strangelove NYC MeltMyHeart’s indulgent chocolate notes makes these fragrances truly enticing for me as I am a huge fan of gourmand perfumes. Parfums de Marly Oriana, with its inspiration drawn from Chantilly cream and marshmallow sounds absolutely seductive.

Steven’s video review and Michelyn’s introduction provide very informative insight into these Halloween perfumes.

My choice would be Strangelove NYC MeltMyHeart.

I follow you on IG: cousinlebleu

  • My favorite treat is dark chocolate so I have to go with Michelyn’s number one pick, Melt My Heart. I also am swayed by Steven saying it’s the darkest of the three. This fragrance has been on my radar for quite awhile too but haven’t been able to smell it so I would be over the moon to win. I’m in NYC and follow on IG from @flavasauce.

  • Thank you both Michelyn and Steven for the videos. Personally, I am not a candy lover, be that to eat or smell and even though Steven served both Prada’s Candy and Oriana very well, candy note would not sway me. I am intrigued in MeltMyHeart after reading Michelyn’s view on it. Cocoa, orris, ylang-ylang and oud. Lovely. If I won, I would be interested in MeltMyHeart.
For the address: currently EU but UK also

  • This delightful list, thoughtfully put together by the talented Michelyn and Redolessence, has captivated my attention. The idea of embracing sweet fragrances for the enchanting ambiance of Halloween has piqued my interest. Among the multitude of fragrances to choose from, these exceptional scents have left a lasting impression on me, and are what I would love to smell on my lady.
I’m a devoted fan of Parfums de Marly. The prospect of experiencing this fragrance fills me with anticipation and excitement, as I seek to enchant and spoil my beloved with this special gift. New JErsey, USA

  • I live in Italy and Halloween is not very celebrate here, maybe because of the Christianity, I don’t know but when I was kind me and my friend used to go to each other house and ask for candies like Toblerone and Lindt d’or. I really interested in melt my heart and in the house in general, but in particular the fact that as Michelyn said it resembled woth chocolate and it reminded me so much when it’s was halloween and I was a child. Greetings from milan, Italy

  • Ah, the sweetness and all the candy for Halloween treats! What a lovely tightly curated selection, and all 3 explore different facets of sweet treats.

I never thought about the Iris in Prada candy, but it does work nicely to balance out the caramel in it. I don’t think I’ve found the chocolate perfume yet for me but Meltmyheart sounds yummy and up my alley. Oriana is divine with the Chantilly cream, fruit and musk !

Steven’s video was pretty concise and a pleasure as always. He makes all 3 sound like musts!

I also follow cafleurebon on Instagram! I live in the USA and would love to win either bottle. Thanks for the giveaway.

  • Meltmyheart calls my name! I love chocolate in a fragrance and with orris and ylang, I’m sure it’s a combo to die for.
I loved how Michelyn and Steven chose bright, sweet and cozy fragrances for Halloween this year. I feel that once the autumn hits, that’s exactly what the heart needs: comfort, light and sweetness.
    Also love Candy and Oriana.
Would love to win Meltmyheart from the EU.

  • Because of Michelyn’s opinion my choice is MeltMyHeart. From the video I learned of the versatility of MeltMyHeart. US

  • ianbradleyandrews says:

Michylns review of melt my heart sounds dark and delightful. Stevens reviews are always so helpful as he covers every aspect of the perfume. I’d love to win and live in Indiana.

  • These 3 were great choices for Halloween with their sweet compositions. I am particularly fond of Oriana with the combination of creamy, sweet marshmallow and chantilly cream, along with the raspberry. Such a yummy scent! If chosen as your winner, I would definitely choose Oriana.
    I live in the USA.

  • Amanda32828 says:

I’ll love to smell Melt My Heart Strangelove NYC. I haven’t had the pleasure of smelling it. I have read that it is an amazing fragrance, so I’m hoping that soon I can get my hands on it. Thank you for another great review commenting from Orlando, Fl. USA.

  • I enjoyed Michelyn explicit descriptions of the perfumes, and Steven’s presentation made me look at sweetness in a different way. My choice is Strange Love NYC’s Meltmyheart. I am from the EU, and I am an IG follower. Thank you for the opportunity!

  • I enjoyed how Steven described the fragrances as having longevity and lasting power and more suited for the colder months. Although the fragrances lean more towards the female audience I can see how some can be enjoyed by the male audience by some of the notes which they’re comprised of. I enjoyed how Michelyn’s introduction of MeltMyHeart is one of her favorite chocolate perfumes of all time and how delicious it is you’d want to bite the sprayer. My choice would be Parfums de Marly Oriana. Thank you for the opportunity. Followed on Instagram. Handle is Frankieg74. From New York, USA.

  • I love how Michelyn described MeltMyHeart (the combo of dusty cocoa and buttery orris sounds amazing!) and Steven’s description of the surprising versatility of it sounds great as well. Meltmyheart would be my first choice if I win, but I’d be happy to win Oriana too (delicious fruits and marshmallow, what’s not to love?). I’m in MN, USA.

  • I don’t celebrate Halloween but I agree that those three would work well for the autumn.
Please count me twice since I follow on Instagram @cafleurebonoffical
    I am in
    USA

  • I would love either of these fragrances, but I given the choice, I would choose Parfums De Marly, as they are one of my favorite fragrance houses. The raspberry and black currant heart notes of Oriana sound absolutely delectable. I loved Michelyn’s imagery in her review of Melt my Heart, the idea of it being so yummy you want to bite the sprayer is both relatable and really funny! I live in Colorado, USA.

  • It is my number one choice for Best Halloween Perfumes for 2023 because wearing MeltMyHeart REALLY lives up to its name and melts my heart (and anyone around me every time I wear it). Wear AFTER THE HALLOWEEN PARTY and well, the rest is up to your imagination –Michelyn. A beautiful description Michelyn really intrigued by the Chocolate and oud combination. Steven described Melt my heart as the heaviest of the three and this sounds like a magical concoction. I follow @Cafleurebofficial my id is amnaaziz5296@gmail.com. Thanks a million from the UK

  • Steven had me at “Divine” description of Oriana by Parfums de Marley. Then add that it has notes of Orange Blossom and Marshmallow can’t get better than that. I am not even a sweet tooth and my mouth waters thinking of the notes he detailed in his video and the article went into more detail with the red fruits as the heart of fragrance making it a joyful experience and it made my decision all the more easier. Hands down your way of reviewing Oriana is top notch.

  • The dusty cocoa¸ an overdose of buttery orris (one of the most expensive ingredients in the world) and ylang feel plush and creamy and are intertwined in a deep (but not animalic) sustainable oud embrace. Who does not love Chocolate, Iris and Oud this sounds like a delectable fragrance for Halloween. Steven described this as dark and heavy scent really appropriate for the colder months. If I am lucky to win I would love to win Strangelove Melt my heart. Thanks a lot from the United Kingdom

  • Parfums de Marly Oriana sounds like such a delicate, sweet fragrance that I would love to win. The way Steven described it with the Marshmallow and Orange sounds so unique and yummy! I also appreciated the journey Michelyn took us through with the different fragrance descriptions. Almost makes you forget it’s a scent and not a treat you can eat. Thanks for the creative list – such a refreshing twist on the typically heavier, darker, and woody fragrances recommended around this time of year.

I live in New York, USA and follow the Instagram page.

  • Great list of sweet gourmand fragrances! I like that they’re all suitable for the winter as well. Really enjoyed both Steven’s and Michelyn’s descriptions of their picks for the Halloween season. I’m very curious about Oriana’s Chantilly cream inspiration and how that translates to it’s overall smell. If I had to pick one, I would choose PdM’s Oriana, but I would love to try either.
    Following @cafleurebonoffical from @dairylll.

  • Good choices for a Halloween sweet fix. I would choose PdM Oriana based on the exceptional quality of the ingredients and the sensuality of the fragrance. Steven have a very comprehensive and glowing review. I’m in the US.

  • Good choices for a Halloween sweet fix. I would choose PdM Oriana based on the exceptional quality of the ingredients and the sensuality of the fragrance. Steven have a very comprehensive and glowing review. I’m in the US.

  • I would love to win Oriana! Both reviews were amazing and they made me want a sweet treat! I live in NJ. And I follow cafleurebon on insta under the handle karendoesperfume.

  • carlos_lager says:

I just recently got a sample of MeltMyHeart and totally agree with Michelyn. This is one of the best chocolate perfumes. It is like Steven says a very heavy scent. I got thru my sample very fast. A really addicting scent. I would love to win a bottle.
I’ve been following your instagram for some time. My @ is silon_dk
Greetings from Austria in the EU

  • A chocolate basedgourmand fragrance with iris sounds amzing! soecially for the fall and halloween season 🙂
I would really like to win meltmyheart by Strange Love NYC.
The perfumer is one that catches my atention, he has some good stuff.
Steven’s introduction was short and to the point, it was a good introduction for the 3 fragrances in my opinion.
Michelyn’s descriptions also help imagine how the fragrance could smell, pretty helpful.
    I am based in Europe

  • perusegenesis says:

Thank you for your reviews, Michelyn and Steven! 🙂 When I thought about an Halloween scent I always went for the dark and gothic, smelling like candy somehow never occured to me, but it feels so fitting! I miss Candy, it’s a big like of mine, and your descriptions of meltmyheart made me salivating for it… Me and Oriana don’t really make a good pair, but I enjoyed hearing what you have to say about it and I think I might give it another chance. If I were to win, I would love to get meltmyheart, it sounds absolutely perfect! I’m also currently residing in Romania, Europe. I also follow the page on instagram, @perusegenesis. Thank you!

  • castlemicro says:

Hello from Florida, and thank you to Steven, Michelyn, and Nathalie for the reviews! I’m following your instagram from my account @castlemicro.

Strangelove NYC’s meltmyheart is a scent I’ve been wanting to try for a while. I wouldn’t have thought of it as Halloween-ish but I do absolutely see how the cocoa and oud could combine for a spooky impression. If I’m selected for the giveaway, I’d love to receive meltmyheart!

  • wallygator88 says:

Thanks for the great writeup Michelyn and video Steven.

I liked Michelyn’s introduction to meltmyheart. Such a beautiful way to use cocoa along with orris and sustainable oud. Steven’s review was great in mentioning the versatility of the fragrance and that it works best in cold weather.

I would love to try this fragrance.

    Cheers from WI, USA

  • Lisa Binkman says:

Michelyn, great introduction to these fantastic fragrances and Steven thank you for the video, wonderful and insightful as always.
My choice would be PDM Oriana certainly! I’ve gotten my nose on this before and the marshmallow with the red fruits is simply mouthwatering and I could wear a fragrance like this everyday of the year…easy grab most definitely.
    Thank you for the opportunity!
    Lisa US

  • Fun candy-sweet selections this year. Of the three, I most want to try MeltMyHeart, since Strangelove NYC seems to specialize in their sustainable ouds. Like Micheyln mentioned in her introduction, I’m looking for that afterparty blend—”plush and creamy,” but not overly sweet. Like Stephen pointed out in his video, that warmth and endurance makes these ideal for cool weather. I liked how both the video and introduction highlighted the texture and wear-weight of these various sweeter perfumes, instead of just the notes. Your holiday lists are always a good read.

I’m in the USA. If I were to win, my choice would be Strangelove NYC MeltMyHeart. I follow @cafleurebonoffical on Instagram as @mmerline. Thanks!

  • I would love to have a bottle of Parfums de Marly Oriana.

Big fan of Parfums de Marly. Every bottle of have from this house feels like such a treat and so luxurious! I love gourmand florals, especially orange blossom. Steven’s curated list is very informational and definitely valuable to a sweet perfume fan.
I love the way Michelyn describes the rich chocolate scent of Strangelove NYC MeltMyHeart.

  • KrystalNicole says:

Michelyn does such a good job describing the scent and feel of a fragrance. I loved that her pick is a chocolate focused fragrance here and the review of Melt my heart, just makes it sound so good! For stevens review I was particularly interested to hear his opinion on Michelyn’s pick because im a chocolate lover and the way he described it as versatile but a heavy winter fragrance made by the perfumer that created tom ford amber absolute definitely sold me even more then I already was from Michelyn’s take on it!

Steven and Michelyn’s review are both always great. They are both a great source of knowledge in the perfume world for someone like me who hasn’t had a chance to try a whole lot of fragrances yet. I love that Steven has and reviews masculine as well as feminine leaning scents and I love Michelyn’s and Stevens way of putting these yummy sounding scents into words.

My top pick if I were to win would be the 15ml Melt my heart by strange love NYC. I live in North Carolina USA and am a follower on Instagram. Thank you for the draw!

  • Always had a sweet tooth, love sweets and love sweet scents too. Both Michelyn’s and Steven’s review made my mouth water with their descriptions of all 3! Would really be a treat to win PDM Oriana. Follow you @cafleurebonofficial on IG Ciaobaby_01 Thank. TX USA

  • It’s true that this year’s Halloween list is just about the treats, there are no tricks whatsoever. However, in Melt My Heart, which I was fortunate enough to try at Jovoy Paris, there’s a little of a challenge, or as Mychelin put it, there is a dark delish side. Christophe Laudamiel made a sensational perfume where oud in not overwhelming but still, it makes Melt my Heart a bit on the heavier side as Steven has said.
I would love to win a bottle of Melt my heart, please. Many thanks, I live in France.

  • Great video by Steven and Michelyn’s introduction was great too. Really stoked for the possibility of trying Strange Love NYC Meltmyheart, which of course is my choice if I were to win. Thanks for hosting. I live in Sweden, EU.

  • Michael Prince says:

I loved Steven’s video review and Michelyn’s introduction of the best Halloween Perfumes for 2023: Sweet Treats. Prada Candy is sweet and seductive and is a best seller for good reason. I’ve heard great things about Melt My Heart, but have never tried it. Oriana is a stunner featuring Marshmallow and Orange Blossom. It is also perfumed by the brilliant Nathalie Lorson. I don’t think Friday the 13th is unlucky, I think it’s more of a superstitious thing. I follow your Instagram page @cafleurebonoffical my instagram page is @michaelprincefragrance I am from the USA. If I win I would choose:
    1. Parfums de Marly Oriana
    2. Strangelove NYC MeltMyHeart

  • “No dark or spooky fragrances this year. For our Best Halloween perfumes of 2023 post, Steven and I co-curated three sweet scents we love and smell good enough to eat. So no tricks and all treats!”

Surprise … Surprise , the Pastry Chef in me is happy with the news
☆ Prada Candy , one of my moms favorite fragrances , it’s so powdery. Saccharine? Wow Michelyn 🙂
☆I’m a huge fan of MeltMyHeart , to me smells like Chocolate Butter Cake with orange peel jam ,and iris. It melted my heart like it do to Michelyn from the first spray, on my second bottle.
☆Parfums de Marly became a top notch brand in such a short period of time , one of the best out there, to my taste of course.
Steven take on Oriana reminded me of making, and later eating Black Currant Mousse Sheet Cake , With Whipped Cream Topping And Non-Candied Fresh Berries on top .
“Oriana is inspired by chantilly cream, for the first time combined with marshmallow.”
That’s the fragrance accord, I’m certain, because in the culinary world that’s common.
It’s a toss up for me between Herod and Oajan, for my favorite Parfums de Marly fragrance, both I own and I’d like to add Oriana to my collection.
Appreciate the introduction , as always all the culinary references , the review , and the giveaway campaign
    USA

  • Ruben Alviar says:

The introduction really sets the mood and gives the reader a good sense of the perfect occasion to wear these fragrances. Steven does a great job as always introducing us to the fragrances and their vibe and note breakdown. If I win I want meltmyheart and I’m located in FL

  • Such a great picks , well done.
Prada Candy I’ve seen in department stores, but never tried
    Strangelove NYC MeltMyHeart (Christophe Laudamiel)
Really fun unexpected both Halloween and a date review ☺
Strangelove NYC is artistic niche brand that stands out with really limited edition products, respect such approach.Meltmyheart is sophisticated lovers fragrance.
Being a vain man compliments are really important to me. Oriana with its fresh orange blossom, fruityness , and moderately sweet marshmallow base, for sure will get me unsolicited compliments , smelling amazing.
    Oriana would be my pick
    Overly exciting giveaway, USA
    Regards

  • Regis Monkton says:

I’d like to be entered to win PDM Oriana. At first, when hearing about the marshmallow aspect of Oriana, I assumed that’s all there is to it, so I appreciate when Michelyn mentions that its heart is black currant and raspberry. I’m interested in its orange blossom and Chantilly cream. I’d like to add it to my collection. I live in MD, U.S.A. I follow @cafleurebonofficial on Instagram (@regismonkton).

  • I thought Prada Candy is a floral fragrance , I’ll give it a try next time in Sephora.
Christophe Laudamiel is the perfumer who made Amber Absolute Tom Ford , one of the best amber fragrances ever. I presume , judging by the prices of Strangelove NYC perfumes I just checked , the brand owners gave him full cart blanche to work with highest quality ingredients. Judging by how pleased Michelyn and Steven are i have high expectations. Grown up smell for successful people, my thoughts on on Meltmyheart , with sweet and comforting chocolate , and oud.
Back in the days , when I was younger I considered floral fruity , and gourmand fragrances way too feminine. Now I think otherwise , and I do enjoy them quite a lot .My favorite PDM is Layton Exclusive , I also own original Layton , and Godolphin all 3 made by one on my favorite perfumers Hamid Merati-Kashani , co-creator of Oriana. I have no doubts his partnership with Natalie Lorson gave us a fragrance people will talk about for years to come.
I’d like to win Meltmyheart Strangelove NYC
    Thank you

  • Januarililjan says:

Love Steven’s video. Meltmyheart sounds amazing. I would love that one. I live in the EU.

  • IvanVelikov says:

Spooky or cookies , I love the fragrances you picked
-Prada Candy I’ve never smelled before , overdosed on benzoin sounds quite nice
-Strangelove NYC MeltMyHeart is special really complex scent, going through a lot of phases. Well-balanced gourmand for grown-ups , dark and delicious at the same time.
-Huge fan of Pegasus, being in tailoring business, I would wear Oriana while working with clients at the shop. Feels like a happy and cheerful moderately sweet floral , but also professional type of fragrance. Almost all my orange blossom based , but also musky fragrances, I wear with a suit at the shop , the chantilly cream and the marshmallow accords are tickling my fancy even more. Two heads are better than one , if they are helping each other, Nathalie Lorson and Hamid Merati-Kashani created a special fragrance, I’m sure.
I so want to win a bottle of Oriana
    Instagram follower too
Thank you Michelyn , Steven , Strangelove NYC, and Parfums de Marly
    USA

  • Shelley Spillman says:

I have heard great things about Oriana by Parfums de Marly. I am really interested in trying it. A perfume inspired by Chantilly Cream sounds delightful!

  • Shelley Spillman says:

MeltMyHeart sounds like an interesting and mysterious oriental perfume. I would love to see what that smells like. The orris, ylang, oud, and Cocoa notes sound like a lovely combination.

  • Wow i cant believe i am only now discovering this amazing website. This website is a perfume lovers dream!

I know of Steven from youtube reviews and have always enjoyed his way of describing the fragrance, i think he is very thorough and does a great job. Michelyn does a great job with this too and as a gourmand lover i was defiantly sold on these perfumes, i will be looking into samples of the 2 i dont own.

If i get lucky and win this amazingly awesome draw my choice would be Oriana by Parfums de Marley because steven pulled me in with his review of this one and I’ve heard good things about it.

    I live in the USA.

  • I learned that prada had a limited range of niche perfumes and Candy is like Benjoin. 9. Not syrupy or saccharine.
    Oriana I own.
Based on Steven’s review and Michelyn introduction saying it was the best chocolate perfume
Wow meltmyheart for Halloween and I am having a party too
    USA

  • I’d like to thank Michelyn and Steven for the interesting Halloween choices, and lively reviews
Prada is a brand I’ve never been a fan of, both clothes, shoes , accessories and fragrances.
Strangelove NYC MeltMyHeart is high end seduction in a bottle. I love iris and chocolate in fragrances, and combined with natural oud and will make MeltMyHeart more head spinning.
Parfums de Marly Oriana is obviously a transitional weather fragrance , orange blossom, marshmallow , fruits and some musk nuances . It sunds super good , and cozy , especially for the Fall .
Parfums de Marly Oriana would be awesome
Thanks for the draw , IG follower
    USA

  • No better name for a Halloween perfume than “Candy”. Totally agree. So interested in Melt my Heart since it’s Michelyn’s favorite chocolate fragrance. I didn’t know Oriana is the most sweet offering by Parfums de Marly. How fun it must have been to attend its launch. I’d love to win Melt My Heart!! Happy Halloween, had enough tricks this year, only treats from here on out. Thanks for the chance. USA.

  • My choice would be Meltmyheart. My sister owns Oriana & I love it, but Chocolate is my life. I love the warmth it gives me and it sounds lovely in combination with iris, which is one of my favorite notes. I like heavy fragrances that perform well in the winter. Chocolate was always my favourite sweet during Halloween, I’d always trade away my candy for whatever chocolate my siblings would give me. Break the chocolate, not my heart. Meltmyheart, not my chocolate <3
    I live in the US.

  • We can have both tricks and treats you know…
As usual I’ll share my thoughts on the 3 fragrances chosen by Michelyn and Steven, and compare my thoughts with what they are getting.
    1. Candy by Prada , composed by Daniela Andrier. I’m leaning more towards Steven’s opinion on the fragrance, i too believe there’s hidden white flowers accords.
    2. MeltMyHeart by Strangelove NYC , composed by Christophe Laudamiel
Speaking of tricks and treats , there’s a specific trait in the whole Strangelove NYC portfolio , fragrance connoisseurs and collectors know and can understand, newbies not as much. Due to smaller batches, and limited production in all Strangelove NYC fragrances there are variations, and differences between different batches. I’ve smelled 5 different batches of MeltMyHeart other than the one I have, and in some cases the chocolate is more prominent, in others the oud is more carnal, some are more dusty and powdery . I wonder why Steven and Michelyn never mentioned nutmeg, I get hefty dose of it in MeltMyHeart, in all the batches I’ve smelled.
    3. Oriana by Parfums de Marly, composed by Natalie Lorson and Hamid Merati-Kashani
Michelyn took the words out of my mouth, especially the drydown with red fruits and the tangy joyful feel.
    My pick is Oriana

    Hello from UK
From the 3 fragrances Halloween fragrances I’m impressed by Strangelove NYC MeltMyHeart and Parfums de Marly Oriana.
MeltMyHeart i find attractive because of the sustainable oud, the classy iris and the chocolate.
Oriana is based on citruses, marshmallow, berries and sensuality.
MeltMyHeart is a price I’d love to win
    Thank you

  • Hello Halloween perfumes
Prada Candy i think in its current version is not what it used to be in the past
Strangelove NYC is a brand relying on premium ingredients, uniqueness, and sustainable oud. MeltMyHeart is bold, but not harsh unapologetic fragrance with natural oud , cocoa , iris and rose , at least I smell roses in it.
Parfums de Marly Oriana is bright and fizzy playful fragrance , with citruses on top , marshmallows and whipped cream base, just WOW to “ saccharine” term Michelyn invented.
Steven shocked me when he said it is Parfums de Marly sweetest offering, Oajan i believe is much sweeter.
Cafleurebon i follow on both FB Instagram
    Oriana please
    Thank you for the opportunity
