Atelier des Ors Lune Féline (Marie Salamagne) 2015: Marie Salamagne with the creative direction of Jean Phillipe Clermont composed a vanilla is a complex, smoky indulgence that feels like a scoop of rich vanilla ice cream. I once had a dessert where vanilla ice cream was smoked with balsams and woods under a glass dome, releasing each ingredient’s full richness. It was decadent, balmy, and salty all at once, just like Atelier des Ors Lune Féline. In this fragrance, you can almost taste the animalic ambergris, fragrant cinnamon spice, and the warm musk that lingers on your skin. If you’re a fan of smoky vanilla, this is the one. Jovoy Paris Fire at Will  (Vanina Muracciole) 2021: One cannot talk about vanilla fragrances without mentioning Jovoy Paris Fire at Will. This is a warm, fluffy, and voluptuous scent, with powdery mimosa flowers adding their floral softness to vanilla dusted with brown sugar, resting on a base of golden amber and musk. It’s a sensual, sweet, and enveloping gourmand that will literally sweep you off your feet. Of the three, this is the sweetest and will satisfy even the most intense sweet tooth. I adore it and never hesitate to lavishly douse myself in it, feeling like I’m floating in a cloud of sugary dreams—sophisticated, luxurious, and perfectly suited for a grown-up.

Parfums de Marly Althaïr (Hamid Merati-Kashani and Ilias Ermenidis) 2023: Parfums de Marly Althaïr is one of the most intriguing blends in the Parfums de Marly collection. It opens with a boozy burst of caramelized orange blossom and the delicious spiciness of cinnamon, instantly evoking the feeling of holidays in France, where the sweet aroma of vanilla and orange blossom greets you as you enter cozy cafés and bakeries. At the heart is a rich chocolate praline with a gooey sweetness—meant in the best way possible. The dry down is all about roasted tonka and candied almonds, like the perfect little snack during a winter stroll through the park. It smells familiar and sophisticated, making you return to it repeatedly, much like a favorite childhood dessert that always triggers sweet memories of the holidays and the comforting warmth of vanilla swirling in the air.

    In a world of vanillas, the ones that stand out and are unique and interesting in their particular take on the note, are always on my radar. A complex, smoky, wood gourmand with balsams and ambergris. This sounds like an amazing scent for Fall.

    I love how each of these vanilla fragrances brings something totally different to the table. Lune Féline is so rich and smoky, like a gourmet dessert, definitely for those who want something deeper and more complex. Fire at Will is pure sweet indulgence—soft, sugary, and just makes you feel cozy. And Althaïr with that boozy orange blossom and praline vibe? Instant holiday feels. All three are fantastic in their own way!

    I loved to read through this selection, highlighting the different directions vanilla can be pushed to–floral, spicy, smoky, gooey, etc.
    For me, Lune Feline is the best vanilla out there and one of the best perfumes altogether.

    What I liked most about this selection of fragrances is, while they are all vanillas, and all suitable for the upcoming season, they are in no way similar to each other. In fact, all three could have a place in one’s collection and there wouldn’t be any overlap or redundancy, which is the mark of three very unique fragrances.

    As a lover of vanilla over chocolate in life (yes, we exist!)… but not much of a gourmand addict, I am always intrigued by what vanilla perfume(s) will captivate me that run left of center. These roundups have been such a joy to read! Especially Lune Feline. A dry and/or smoked wood, alongside incense are forever note profiles that perk my ears. So to see the imagery evoked over a smoke-infused vanilla ice cream sounds utterly divine! Call me curious.

    The Lune Feline is gorgeous. Smoked vanilla ice cream is right up my alley. I have also long desired an Atelier des Ors bottle. Vanilla is one of my favorite notes, from simple to complex. It is so comforting. Fire At Will and Althair sound amazing as well! I am in the USA.

    A true great selection of vanillas, my favorite note. I have smelled all of these but Jovoy’s Fire At Will (a shame), but I have only heard amazing things about them. Parfums De Marly Althair is a beautiful dry and dusty vanilla perfect for the holidays. Atelier Des Ora Lune Feline is a hefty and dense vanilla fragrance for the true lovers of the note. Jovoy Fire At Will looks like a soft and cozy vanilla and the most gourmand of the three. Olya knows her vanillas for sure and knows how to pick them. Would love to win Lune Feline. I’m located in the USA.

    Althair boozy vanilla orange and praline sounds delicious i will definitely try it. As for lune feline its reputation as one of the most known niche vanilla fragrances says everything. As for fire at will the mentioned blend with flowers doesn’t seem that appealing but then again jovoy makes wonders. I would love to win lune feline. I live in Greece,EU

    I very much enjoy Jovoy Fire at Will. It has just the right touch of sweetness for me and I love the powderyness that the Mimosa adds. Altair is one of my husbands favorite. I love a smoky vanilla as well!

    To be honest, I don’t like vanilla but I dream of one day finding the perfume that will change my mind. Vanilla has this overly sweet gourmand side in most perfumes and it ends up disgusting me. I have already tried Atelier des Ors perfumes including Rouge Saray, Musc immortel and Iris fauve that I loved so maybe Lune Féline will be the perfume that will reconcile me with vanilla… I love this part of the text: “you can almost taste the animalic ambergris, fragrant cinnamon spice, and the warm musk that lingers on your skin.” I live in France, EU.

    It’s almost October, can’t believe it, the time for vanilla fragrances is now .
    If I have to guess based on what I learned from Olya Bar Lune Feline is high end , refined and alluring vanilla fragrance with some woody and spicy exoticism , presentation is top notch too.
    I’m sure the fragrance is special, and I also expect really good performance based on my Rose Omeyyade bottle.
    The complexity of Fire At Will intrigues me. Natural smelling vanilla, toasted brown sugar, and almonds , splendid and joyful fragrance
    I’ve smelled Althaïr once , and what I remember was a lot of orange blossom and a lot of spices , I don’t remember rich chocolate and gooey sweetness. Obviously the fragrance is significantly sweeter on Olya’s skin.

    I’m pleasantly surprised by seeing Lune Feline in the more recent Niche Vanilla recommendations , thank you Olya ! I’ve been a fan of Jean-Phillipe Clermont for a long time , no wonder Atelier Des Ors equals class , beauty and creativity , to me also equals Lune Feline . If i have to describe it with one word it will be phenomenal,gourmand notes are present, but still restrained, spices , tea , great vanilla .
    Psychedelique and Ambre Premier are the best Jovoy fragrance I’ve smelled, both are in my possession. Thanks to Olya I believe Fire at Will is sweeter, more playful voluptuous gourmand.
    When I think Parfums de Marly , I always think Pegasus. Now I know both Althaïr and Pegasus are made by the same nose Hamid Merati Kashani. I like the caramelized orange blossom , vanilla and the roasted tonka bean.

    As usual Olya is speaking like a true connoisseur , one of my favorite Cafleurebon contributors, she knows all fragrances , liquor and pastries very well.
    You can’t go wrong with vanilla fragrances made by 3 established perfumers for brands like Atelier des Ors, Jovoy and Parfums de Marly.
    Lune Féline is so showing the full spectrum of a darker vanilla, smoky, balmy even a tad animalic, but still having a few scoops of rich vanilla ice cream on top.
    Fire at Will is more floral , cozy and sensual vanilla and Althaïr is like having a delicious snack during a cold weather walks in the park.
    I’m a fan of beautiful things and opulent aura , Lune Féline is quite an interesting vanilla fragrance i’d love to win

    Hello pt2 of co-curated list of vanilla fragrances , this time like a basket case with vanilla pods, rich vanilla ice-cream , balsams , incense sticks , brown sugar , delicious treats, lots of fun and positive emotions. Olya Bar surely have her own inimitable style of reviewing fragrances, more cozy and chilling in comparison to other Cafleurebon members . Her affection for living life the best way possible emerged all over again when she spoke of Atelier des Ors Lune Feline, Jovoy Paris Fire at Will and Parfums de Marly Althaïr.
    I was expecting different vanilla fragrances in comparison to Pt1 and Olya did not disappoint me one bit .
    With Lune Féline Olya actually made me think of watching the stars on the porch at midnight in October covered with a blanket, burning incense cons , and easing my sugar cravings with vanilla ice cream. I love eating ice cream in the Fall and Winter.
    Jovoy Paris Fire At Will floral softness, muskiness and vanilla dusted with brown sugar aspects are impossible to resist.
    My girlfriend who’s half Indian (from India) , half Arabic just told me when I asked her that Althair is traditional name of Arabic origin that means “flying eagle” and it’s related to future prosperity of the baby , very interesting information I believe. A flying eagle with boozy bursts, orange blossom and candied almonds

    Ah, vanilla, my #1 choice for the cooler months. I see my all-time favorite vanilla, Lune Feline, has made the list. It’s no surprise as it is a phenomenal composition, especially in its extrait form (those extra medicinal balsams are a thing of wonder). I agree with Olya in that you can almost taste its animalic facets. It’s such a powerful yet comforting experience.

    Of the other two in this list, the one I m most interested in is Fire At Will. I have limited experience with Jovoy, but the few I have tried have been truly magnificent pieces. Psychedelique, in particular, took my breath away with its chocolatety patchouli goodness. I am eager to see how they tackle a vanilla-focused scent. I really like the sound of it’s brown sugar laden amber. It sounds like a sweet escape, and we can all use one of those from time to time. That said, I would definitely go with Fire At Will, should I be selected. Best of luck to everyone. I live in NC, USA.

    It could be my impressions only but in terms of colder weather I believe most people associate Atelier des Ors with Rouge Saray, Jovoy with Psychedelique , and Parfums de Marly with Herod. What I’d say for certain is that Atelier Des Ors Rouge Saray is a sublime , sweet , woody and fruity fragrance, one of my favorites ever , and I’m expecting the same quality from Lune Feline.
    It was a pleasure reading Olya Bar essay, co-curated with Michelyn Camen , i’ve learned some interesting details . What grabbed me the most, in no particular order a) Cafleurebon team ambition to deliver different contents, i can’t wait for Part 3 b) Marie Salamagne, Vanina Muracciole and Hamid Merati-Kashani and Ilias Ermenidis duo being the perfumers of Lune Feline, Fire at Will and Althair c) Olya decision to write about 3 hidden gems by 3 famous brands, all I’ve never smelled. d) the different natures of Lune Feline , Fire at Will and Althair e) how all 3 vanilla fragrances are sophisticated and not linear e) the smoky , salty and spicy facets in Lune Feline

    I’d like the Atelier des Ors Lune Féline and the dessert, please. What an experience! Vanilla, smoke, cinnamon and friends sounds like a beautiful creation for fall. Crunching on fallen leaves; smelling like your moment has finally arrived. This harkens back a trip I took to a local arboretum with my college boyfriend. I had a big ole perm and held a giant stick into the air, as if I had accomplished a daring feat. I live in four-seasons New York.

    These all sound complex, sophisticated, and perfect for Fall. I also love how each interpretation is unique. I am partial to smoky fragrances so Ors Lune Feline sounds perfect. My current go-to vanilla fragrance is Tihota – it is a lovely vanilla but these 3 sound like nuanced interpretations that I would love to try. I live in the US.

    I didn’t know I could love vanilla until recently thanks to falling in love with Guerlain’s Angelique Noire. I’m now curious to try others and these all sound like interesting takes on the note. The Lune Feline definitely sounds like the one for me as the woody, spicy, smoky and ambergris would counterbalance the sweetness I suspect. I’m in NY.

    I was so happy to see this part two already and still remember how wonderfully decadent part one was.
    I just can’t get enough of these sweet, luxurious gourmands which make this my favorite season. I have been a fan of Hamid Merati-Kashani and love what he has been doing with Parfums De Marly which is my favorite frangrance house. I can’t wait to try the other two as well.

    Out of the 3 fragrances mentioned, I tried Lune Feline and it is different. The smokey vanilla is not for everyone and either you will like it or hate it, I don’t think there is anything in between. A true niche gem 🙂 Olya’s description of PDM made me very curious. Now I will be on the hunt for a sample 🙂

    I have not found many vanillas that I dislike, but I think I may be on the lucky side, cause I can see it going wrong. These three must have it right based on the reviews. I always appreciate adding great fragrances to seek out on my list, and here is another three to look out for. The Atelier is the one I most gravitate towards and I would feel blessed to win.     Atelier des Ors Lune Féline has been on my wishlist for some time and I like how Olya says it’s a complex vanilla, smoky indulgence that feels like a scoop of rich vanilla ice cream.

    Didn’t come across Parfums de Marly Althaïr, but what sparked my interest is that the dry down is all about roasted tonka and candied almonds, like the perfect little snack.

    Oh my goodness, I am so glad that vanilla fragrances are back in fashion. Your article highlights so beautifully the many facets that vanilla can have.     To me Lune Feline is a warm, elegant and unique perfume for the upcoming cold weather. I can say that it can be a signature scent for this time of the year, for me at least.     What I enjoyed most about this “contemporary vanillas” collection is how each fragrance offers a different take on vanilla.
    Atelier des Ors Lune Féline is a rich, smoky vanilla with hints of cinnamon and ambergris – delicious!.
    Jovoy Paris Fire at Will is sweet and soft, like vanilla and brown sugar mixed together—so sweeet!.
    Parfums de Marly Althaïr has a cozy, warm vanilla scent with caramel and orange blossom – so festive!.
    But above all, each perfume makes vanilla feel special in its own way. Indeed best niche vanilla fragrances.

    What I loved about these reviews is how evocatively they describe each fragrance, making me feel like I’m experiencing the scents firsthand.     Lune Feline, from the name this is an extremely seductive fragrance, it is not the classic vanilla and that’s it. Spices, ambergris, styrax give the perfume the same charm as a beautiful cheetah? I don’t know, definitely beautiful in winter.

    Ah, vanilla, a true favorite of so many fragrance lovers and for a gourmand lover and vanilla lover like myself, make me feel loved every time i wear it!
    Unfortunately I have not made the opportunity to try any of the three fragrances listed above, but thanks to Olya’s presentation they are now on my must try list!
    All three vanillas are so different and unique! Highly appreciate the 3 reviews, and the Vanilla topic giveaway!

    Ooh, this is a wonderful selection of cold weather fragrances! I most like the 2 that contain cinnamon. That note always invokes wintery, snowy images of Christmas. I’ve never owned any Atelier fragrances. Your description of a scoop of vanilla ice cream with a drydown of smoky vanilla sounds so gorgeous! I wish there was a store nearby me so I could experience this in person.

Recently I stated on a Luckyscent post that Tihota to me is the best niche vanilla. If Lune Feline can compete with that I’d love to win and give it a try.

    I am loving this series. Again, I’m introduced to three vanilla fragrances that for whatever reason I have not tried. Of the three, Lune Feline is the one that draws me the most because I adore a spicy vanilla in the colder seasons. I also feel like I absolutely need to try to smoked ice cream you described. It sounds amazing! I’m going to be using this series as inspiration to sample all of these vanillas referenced. From the US.

    Vanilla is a note I have always struggled with, but it continues to intrigue me. I’ve been enjoying how this series highlights the different facets of vanilla (so many!). I keep sampling to see what appeals to me as my nose changes over time, and as a lover of woody, smoky, and spicy fragrances it is probably no surprise that Lune Feline has been a recent hit for me.     Thanks to Olya Bar reviews and Michelyn Camen contribution i started thinking about all kinds of warm and delicious vanilla moments I’d like to experience in the Fall.
    I believe Marie Salamagne, Vanina Muracciole, Hamid Merati-Kashani and Ilias Ermenidis all have carefully chosen every single raw material , so their fragrances can tell a different and more unique vanilla story. Because Olya Bar I’m now curious about Lune Féline and Fire atWill , and the way the two evolves , Althaïr i own.
    The contrast between the the vanilla with smoky and balmy feel , ice cream and musky haze in Lune Féline is to die for.
    Fire at Will is a comforting vanilla, warm floral and luxurious.
    I really like Althaïr, not sure why some people including Olya Bar believe it’s a gooey sweet fragrance , different skins i guess because when i wear it i can smell more orange blossom and cinnamon, than vanilla.

    I believe it’s easy to say Olya Bar enjoys all kinds of vanillas, and all of her personal experiences with Lune Féline from Atelier des Ors, Fire at Will from Jovoy Paris and Althaïr from Parfums de Marly. The idea of the future Part3 coming soon is appreciated, can’t wait.
    I know the three brands, but also have no experience with the three, approved by Olya Bar and Michelyn Camen fragrances.
    Novelty almost adventurous fragrance, with woods , balsams and salt , spices and other deeper facets , no wonder Olya thinks Lune Féline is “this is the one” for those who like smoky vanillas. The idea of adding gold flakes in the bottle only comes to show the creative part of Jean-Phillipe Clermont character. Atelier des Ors fragrance called Pomelo Riviera is in my collection.
    I believe Fire at Will is half romantic and cozy , but also passionate vanilla fragrance with powdery mimosa and brown sugar aspects.The candied almonds, cafés and bakeries in Althaïr is something I’d definitely enjoy

    Splendid approach by Olya Bar, I like who she merged boldness, elegance, peacefulness , grown up and holidays in Paris nuances , well blended ingredients , top perfumers , 3 different realities , and a sense of exclusivity , Lune Féline, Fire at Will and Althaïr are all special fragrances.
    The dessert where vanilla ice cream was smoked with balsams and woods comparison grabbed me instantly, I’m all about guilty pleasures fragrances like Lune Féline.
    Like PSYCHEDELIQUE Fire at Will is also is great, fluffy voluptuous vanilla , and Althaïr is like a Parisian bakery potion in a bottle

    Atelier des Ors Lune Féline was crafted from Jean-Phillipe Clermont and Marie Salamagne passionate belief in originality, so many of their creations do smell fantastic and nothing like anything else already on the market , Rose Omeyyade for example is 10/10 fragrance. Lune Féline also embodies his ardent aspiration to capture the full spectrum of a smoky and bold vani , with added darker rich undertones like woods , balsams , animalic ambergris and even salt .
    Fire at Will is an underrated vanilla fragrance imo , I have a sample. It is warm and voluptuous i agree, it could be me but it also smells boozy .
    I’m curious about what kind experience it is to smell Althaïr , like a perfect little snack during a breezy stroll through the park maybe.

    Other the great smelling vanilla fragrances I hope one day I’ll be lucky enough to visit Tahiti’s vanilla production farms , it’s stuck in my mind since Part 1 , i can see it’s used in Lune Feline too. If not I can at least spend a week or two in Paris inspired by Olya Bar.
    I always wanted to bottle an ice-cream fragrance myself , a different fragrance, more complex, intriguing and not artificially sweet, I believe Atelier des Ors Lune Feline is right up my alley. With just s few sentences Olya Bar convinced me that I need to explore as much as possible of the fragrances from their catalog, not just Lune Feline.
    Jovoy Paris and Parfums de Marly fragrances are also quite interesting, Fire at Will for the grown-up floral appeal, and Althaïr for the pralines and candied almonds.

    I love the warmth and coziness of gourmand vanilla scents in cooler weather. Olya’s selections all showcase a sweeter vanilla with elements of spice and/or sugars. I appreciate the added smokiness, ambergris and wood notes in Atelier des Ors Lune Feline as I’m not drawn towards bakery vanilla fragrances. I’m in MD, USA.

    Early Fall is a season where weather is unpredictable, it could be rainy, windy , freezing cold or rather sunny like today Still the time for powerful and complex vanilla fragrances has come.
    If you into high end vanilla fragrances you know Lune Féline and Althaïr, Fire at Will i need to try soon.
    Love the extra detail of the vanilla ice-cream Olya had , it actually describes Lune Féline very well because the fragrance is just as exquisite, very deep , smoky , woody and spicy and not sugary sweet.
    Fire at Will is a welcoming fragrance wrapping you in floral density, and a cloud of sugary dreams.
    Olya opinion on Althaïr surprised me to be honest, it is a beautiful fragrance just not as sweet like she described it. The way it smells to me is inviting orange blossom , and spicy vanilla sweetness , easy to detect cinnamon , although nowhere near gooey sweet.

    I’m thankful for being a Cafleurebon subscriber, if not most likely I wouldn’t be able to discover such beautiful vanilla creations .
    Not only Atelier des Ors Lune Féline is made in an unorthodox way , it’s made by Marie Salamagne, she engineered so many magnificent fragrances i love , one of which Iris Fauve , also from Atelier des Ors i own. Keeping in mind Olya’s zealous examination of Lune Féline i know she some splendid work once again , elaborate and courageous vanilla fragrance with dark undertones I really like to win.
    My impressions of Jovoy Paris Fire at Will are pretty much the same , the fragrance is sensual and intoxicating in many ways .
    PDM Althaïr is a fragrance I still haven’t smelled, Paris trip is always a good idea

    Recently I followed Redolessence advice to subscribe and participate in a giveaway, and I’m glad I keep discovering new and interesting great smelling fragrances on your blog , I’ll order samples of Lune Féline Atelier des Ors, Fire at Will Jovoy Paris and Althaïr Parfums de Marly right away , thank you Olya.
    In my view Lune Féline is a different, done to perfection mixture of risk-taking and pleasing vanilla fragrance, rich and smoky . It stands out with the total package of pleasing aroma , comforting appeal , and beautiful presentation with gold flakes swirling in the bottle.
    Althaïr feels like a party all night gourmand with a small bakery and strong coffee like appeal. Fire at Will is more festive, almost Christmas time fragrance

    I like how Ms Bar , with the help of Ms Camen together have chosen 3 very different vanilla fragrances. , the more inviting and relaxing Fire at Will , the more punchy and adventurous Lune Féline and the childhood dessert with rich chocolate and caramelized orange blossom Althaïr.
    Walking into Jovoy in Paris is like experience like no other, the real fragrance museum and the place where I discovered both Atelier des Ors and Lune Féline and of course Jovoy Paris own Fire at Will.
    I love the based on vanilla ice-cream pastry comparison Ms Bar made , Lune Féline is so addictive. Not just Lune Féline, Atelier des Ors is a brand every single fragrance lover needs to know , it’s a must because of exquisite and alluring creations made from the best of the best ingredients , long lasting , and on top of that made by talanted perfumer like Marie Salamagne.Being a Certified Master Bench Jeweler i can’t help but to admire the beautiful bottles , I’m so impressed by everything Atelier des Ors represents !!!
    Not so sure about “perfectly suited for grown-ups” in terms of Fire At Will, other than warm ,fluffy and lavish the fragrance comes out quite boozy too . If I have to guess Ms Bar is not picking up the whiskey at all?!? Because of the whiskey alone I think Fire At Will actually leans young.
    The idea bakery in Paris alone makes me wanting to revisit Althaïr and I will.

    Judging by the detailed description, and how ecstatic Olya Bar is describing not Lune Féline, Fire at Will all makes me feel 2 new to me sophisticated and free will vanilla fragrances are already on the market , Althaïr I bought last year right after it came out.

    ☆ Lune Feline is fantastic vanilla fragrance, to me smells like Cinnamon and Cardamom Rolls, and it’s also quite smoky too . Looking at the notes I’m impressed Atelier des Ors and Marie Salamagne are working with Tahitian Vanilla since it a rare, luxury product. No wonder is often referred to as Tahiti’s black gold.
    ☆ Orange Blossom Vanilla Cupcakes , sprinkled with Cinnamon is how Althaïr smells to me . Can’t say I can smell the “rich chocolate praline” like Olya but I’m impressed she actually clarified she’s talking about the European perception of praline , because the term actually means two very different things in Europe and in US .
    ☆ Fire At Will smells like classical Almond Flour Vanilla Cake , with toasted Brown sugar , and Raw almonds on top , cake every up-and-coming Pastry Chef is learning how to make during the training process. I wonder if the almond is a hidden note because the clouds of sugary dreams Olya spoked about to my nose are also filled with almonds 🙂

    Love all over again. I really like how Marie Salamagne and Jean Phillipe Clermont found the fine balance between creativity and wearability. Like everything in real life some components of Lune Féline are gentle like the delicious vanilla ice-cream, some are spicy like the cinnamon , others don’t know what to expect from like the musk and ambergris. The balanced between the ice-cream, the smoke and spices I’m looking for the most.
    Fire at Will other than warm, sweet and voluptuous is also powerful and long lasting, I intend to buy another bottle right after I see the bottom .

    All nuances of Olya Bar brought to the Best More Recent Niche Vanilla journey do have a familiar tune , creativity, novelty approach and 3 great fragrances, 2 that emerged last 3 years Jovoy Paris Fire at Will and Parfums de Marly Althaïr , and one semi-recent but still going strong Atelier des Ors Lune Féline.
    The insightful description of the fine restaurant delicacy with vanilla ice-cream had another angle added to Lune Féline review ,I enjoyed learning about how complex the fragrance is , from spicy to musky ,woody , salty still overall quite delicious. Created by Marie Salamagne fragrance is an olfactory journey that captures the essence of a different kind of vanilla , more bolder and darker variety.
    I’d love to win Lune Féline based on Olya Bar sterling work and my previous experience with Atelier des Ors , delighted owner of Iris Fauve , in my opinion one of the best iris fragrances on the market.
    Jovoy UK boutique in Mayfair is my go-to place to shop niche fragrances , I had a plan to visit in person anyway next week, and I’ll make sure to try both Lune Féline and Fire at Will , I do have a sweet tooth and I love not just the boutique , but Jovoy fragrance as well.

    My favorite part of the review is the description of the ice cream served under a glass dome with smoked balsams and wood. I feel like this perfectly illustrated the depth of Lune Feline and I’m hungry now. : )

    The right way to start with Olya Bar and Michelyn Camen modern vanilla fragrances is to say i enjoyed all Lune Féline, Fire at Will and Althaïr reviews , and the way they differ from each other.
    Some fragrances do shine for a short period of time, and then turn into oblivion , and then there are others like Lune Féline from Atelier des Ors , in late 2024 considered a modern day classic. I tend to believe Fire at Will and Althaïr will also aquire such status , all will continue triggering past and forging future artistic memories in 2025 and for many years after.
    I’m was new to Atelier des Ors fragrances up until Villa Primrose and Blue Madeleine Olya Bar article on Cafleurebon, now Blue Madeleine is in my possession and I’m loving it. With some help of Olya once again i believe Lune Féline is smoky vanilla ice-cream fragrance with openly courageous personality.
    It’s still relatively warm where I live , I’ll wait for a few weeks more to try Parfums de Marly Althaïr and Jovoy Paris Fire at Will. I love wearing gooey sweet fragrances , but only when it’s cold.

    Since Rose Omeyyade and Rouge Sarây are two of my all time faves , and Jean-Phillipe Clermont complex multicultural nature is very much similar to mine I’d like to say I’m thankful for the chance of winning fragrance like Lune Féline.
    It’s vital to me that Lune Féline and Rouge Sarây even though both vanilla forward fragrances are actually very different. As much as I love Atelier des Ors I’m not keen on owning close to identical perfumes . I’m happy to learn Marie Salamagne created almost an opposite vanilla in comparison to Rouge Saray, darker smokier, still sweet like vanilla ice cream, but also musky and salty , I’m impressed.
    Every fragrance enthusiast known Jovoy although for a few different fragrances, Fire at Will I’d say is a hidden gem , especially if Olya Bar believes that the voluptuous gourmand could sweep me off my feet i have no other option but to try it as soon as possible.
    Althaïr is quite popular in UK , at least in the bars , pubs and coffee shops i like to visit i can smell it every single time . I actually like Althaïr very much, still i don’t want to smell like a lot of other people.

    Atelier des Ors I strongly associate with Musc Immortel again made by the talanted Marie Salamagne , and i just found out about Lune Féline .
    Other than a gifted duo Jean Phillipe Clermont are Marie Salamagne has always been thinking outside of the box, no wonder Lune Féline is a statement maker. Tahitian Vanilla, cinnamon and warm musk are all favorites of mine , let alone how Olya Bar said it reminds her of smoked vanilla icecream – wonderful fragrance .
    Jovoy Fire at Will is a floral vanilla, intense and dusted with brown sugar. Parfums de Marly Althaïr chocolate praline with orange blossom smells familiar and sophisticated.

    Vast amount of people are praising Lune Féline from Atelier des Ors , including Redolessence, now I know Olya Bar and Michelyn Camen are fans too. I’m all about addictive and unique vanillas, slightly salty, smoky and in a way similar to vanillla icecream, it’s time to find a sample.
    Althaïr I smelled only on others, never on skin. Jovoy Paris Fire at Will is sexy voluptuous vanilla with golden amber and musk , so delicious.

    I know niche fragrances and with the competition getting fierce to say the least , there are dozens of new vanilla releases coming out every single i need something more than a good smell, i need something to grab my attention, and Olya Bar work once again impressed me.
    Atelier deLune Féline high quality raw materials, a touch of animalic ambergris, fragrant spices , Tahitian Vanilla and the small gold leafs in Atelier des Ors bottles did the trick for me.
    Pretty and pleasant floral vanilla like Fire at Will are made for the Fall , to my taste the best Jovoy fragrance , and the bakery touches of Althaïr i find nostalgic

    Lune Féline by Atelier des Ors, composed by Marie Salamagne is an untamed vanilla made for connoisseurs, and not to please the masses. Yes the vanilla is there , but like Olya said the scent is very smoky , woody , spicy and a tad animalic.
    Fire at Will by Jovoy Paris, composed by Vanina Muracciole is indeed floral, dusted with brown sugar and sweetest of the three. In my opinion it’s all ages fragrance, if not even leaning towards younger demographics.
    Althaïr by Parfums de Marly, composed by Hamid Merati-Kashani and Ilias Ermenidis is a fragrance I believe people should sample first because it smells very different on different people. My opinion of the fragrance is basically the same as Olya’s , syrupy sweet gourmand that’s quite loud , but the thing is most people I’ve discussed the fragrance with don’t get the same thing, and believe Althaïr is not overly sweet, not as loud and with pronounced freshness from the citruses. I remember how Michelyn said something in the same vain in her overview of the fragrance.

    I enjoy greatly Olya Bar positivity, honesty and passionate approach to fragrances.
    The duality of Lune Féline personality is so well crafted , everything in the fragrance has its own place, the Tahitian vanilla, sugary ice cream warmth, the salt and even the funky ambergris, are all addictive and delicious at the same time. I’m ready for exquisite dark vanilla dessert, I’m ready for Lune Féline
    Fire at Will Jovoy Paris enveloping sweet tooth with powdery mimosa aspects are so satisfying. Althaïr Parfums de Marly is more of a Spring fragrance in my opinion, with more orange blossom and spices than vanilla and pralines.

I’ve heard so much about Althair, I had ignored it because I thought it was from their masculine section because of the bottle. I think I’ll have to test it.     I’m very much picky in terms of vanilla fragrances since my love affair with “the real deal” goes back in time, I well remember vanilla pods from my childhood when grandma used to bake different pastries a couple of times per week .
    Olya Bar assessment of Atelier des Ors Lune Féline brought a lot of memories up , carefree times i miss so much , being a kid and eating grandma’s different delicious foods, including home made with real vanilla ice cream
    I became instantly attracted to the comforting smell of Lune Féline , together with carefully selected by Marie Salamagne and Jean Phillipe Clermont other deeper and darker shades .
    Fire at Will i imagine is grown-ups festive vanilla fragrance, and Althaïr more like a journey to Paris France.
    Sum total love the read , and I’d love to win a bottle of Lune Féline. Thank you

    I love the Vanilla series and I’m already anticipating part 3. Olya Bar reviews I enjoyed very much , from the comforting facets of Jovoy Paris Fire at Will , to the contrasting quirky elements in Atelier des Ors Lune Féline , Althaïr I used to own but finished the bottle in the Spring.
    Lune Féline is more appealing to me because of higher-end, definitely pastry chef made smoked with balsams and woods under a glass dome vanilla ice-cream dessert analogy , Marie Salamagne made the fragrance so addictive and rich.

    Unlike the first three-part list, I haven’t tried any of these vanilla fragrances. Atelier des Ors Lune Féline sounds like it rides a very fine line between sweet gourmand and funky profile; the smoked woods and ambergris are a deft choice for bringing out natural vanilla’s more complex facets. Olya says Fire at Will is the sweetest of the three, which lost me a little, but it sounds plush. Similarly, Althaïr will be a winner for folks that like their fragrances on the sweeter side. Great list—the description of Atelier des Ors Lune Féline is particularly intriguing. I’d love to try it.

    I’m useless at putting my thoughts into words, but I just love these evocative reviews. Even if all the notes weren’t listed, I feel as though I could still ‘picture’ how each scent smells. With autumn already here, I’m craving these cosy scents. Vanilla really does give such a feeling of warmth and indulgence. These all sound very much my cup of tea!

    Oof what a popular giveaway’ I dont know when I’ve seen such a popular one and for good reason, I’ve tried 2/3 of these are they are glorious! Something about vanilla that is so timeless, sensual, addictive, warm and cozy. It is a do-it-all note. I’ll just add that I sure do miss Atelier Cologne’s Vanille Insensée – what a masterpiece! These are all scrumptious selections. I am in California

    Vanilla will forever be one of my favorite ingredients and also note in perfumery. Niche , designer or indie I like them all , and I’m pleased by the 3 suggestions by Olya and Michelyn.
    Lune Féline aroma hits differently, I can understand why Olya Bar spoke of mouthwatering cuisine, however the smell is also untamed and kind of raw . Fire at Will could be the sweetest but Lune Féline is the most sophisticated and unique out of the three .
    Fire At Will sounds like a high end seductive potion , so sexy.
    Althaïr is refined sweet and musky amber , centered around delicious bourbon vanilla, resins , different spices and positive emotions.

    The atelier des ors is a luxury niche brand and everything from there presentation to the flakes within is golden. I’ve never experienced any of their scents but I obviously hold them in high regard. One could only expect the composition to match it’s overall persona. The use of rich vanilla is always safe and welcome in most fragrances. I notice it’s pleasant most times but the biggest difference is the use of naturals versus synthetics when working with vanilla. Ever since I’ve owned a Madagascar vanilla fragrance I can truly tell the difference between the mundane and the exceptional. I need this in my life, from Jacksonville, NC.

    All fragrances can tell a story, some are delicate and comforting like Parfums de Marly Althaïr , other milestone celebrations worthy like Jovoy Paris Fire at Will , some are passionate and tasty at once like Atelier des Ors Lune Féline.
    I have a keen interest in Lune Féline because of the delicious scent profile with smoky Tahitian vanilla , ice cream and salt. I find the blend of mouthwatering .
    I find Fire at Will interesting because of how develops , from floral to tasty vanilla sweet , to sophisticated and perfectly suited for grown-ups.
    If memory serves me well Althaïr is mostly orange blossom , with subtle vanilla sweetness. I assume it smells way sweeter , even gooey to Olya Bar.

    Olya Bar in both part 1 and 2 loaded up the articles with fantastic vanilla fragrances , I’m fond of learning in details of such multidimensional vanilla fragrances like Atelier des Ors Lune Féline, Jovoy Paris Fire at Will and Parfums de Marly Althaïr.
    Since I enjoyed basically everything I read I’m not sure where should even start with. Should I start with how I was introduced to Atelier des Ors due to Olya Bar and her Villa Primrose and Blue Madeleine work , not just that i even tried but ordered Blue Madeleine? Or maybe how I’m interested in Lune Féline too ? Or the mouthwatering smoked vanilla desert with ice cream likeness with the fragrance? Or the grown-up experience with Fire at Will? Or maybe the Parisian bakery and Althaïr?
    All allowed Olya Bar to portrait the 3 more recent niche vanilla fragrances the best way possible

    As Artisan myself I’m happy to learn about the three so well crafted vanilla fragrances.
    Jean-Phillipe Clermont and Marie Salamagne teamwork always makes me feel good, Lune Féline is not just a great smelling resembling vanilla ice cream fragrance with deeper smoky facets , it’s also undeniably original, i find the fact very important.
    I like how Olya Bar said Fire at Will is also suited for grown-ups haha. I need a breakfast with boozy burst of caramelized orange blossom and cinnamon , candied almonds too like the ones in Althaïr.

    I feel captivated by Olya Bar and Michelyn Camen co-curated list of vanilla fragrances , job well done to the Cafleurebon duo.
    I can’t help but to be impressed how Atelier des Ors Lune Feline is close to 10 years old , but still modern and cherished by perfume enthusiasts. I find the scent delightful for cinnamon, musk and woods one part , and throwback to Olya Bar fancy ice-cream vanilla dessert on the other.
    I have a favorite Jovoy fragrance, and yes it’s Fire at Will, no doubt it will satisfy even the most intense sweet tooth , my small decant is so lovely .

    There are refined fragrances , there are stories , guilty foodie pleasures, Parisian adventures and bakeries here and I’m loving it.
    Vanilla and rose my two Queens , I love vanilla pastries just like I love vanilla fragrances. What i enjoyed overall is the tone of Best More Recent Vanille Niche Perfume read , Olya Bar grabbed my attention right away. In Atelier des Ors Lune Féline i enjoyed Marie Salamagne made unbelievable aroma similar to the ultra luxury smoked with balsams and woods under a glass dome vanilla desert with ice cream Olya Bar once had. In Jovoy Paris Fire at Will the floral and fluffy sensation, and in Parfums de Marly Althaïr the comforting bakery smell. EU

    Thanks to Olya started thinking of Pumpkin Spice Late , leaves falling to the ground and excellent vanilla fragrances like Lune Féline, Fire at Will and Althaïr.
    Smelling both good and unique is a must , at least for me , that’s why I love how Jean-Phillipe Clermont and Marie Salamagne always create deeply personal fragrances. I’m a big fan of Bois Sikar and Pink Champagne , both i own and winning Lune Féline would be a dream come true , untamed and sophisticated vanilla fragrance .
    When rich, sweet and delightful fragrance meets super seductive potion , then Fire At Will comes to play.
    To my nose Althaïr is fresher, not as heavy on the sweetness vanilla

    Just by reading the article I visualized the moments when Olya Bar took the first bite of the smoked with balsams and woods under a glass dome vanilla ice-cream dessert, must’ve been a great experience. If Atelier des Ors Lune Féline smells similar I’m certain that the first spray on skin experience is just as good
    I’m used to premium vanilla fragrances and Lune Féline is nothing like I’ve smelled before , there’s salt , it’s smoky , woody and spicy but the rich vanilla ice cream is the stabilizing aspect I have high hopes for, kudos to Marie Salamagne and Jean Phillipe Clermont for the idea.
    Jovoy fragrances i still haven’t smelled , even though I’m a big Jeroboam fan with 3 in my possession Insulo , Gozo and Ambra, still not sure what differentiates the two brands .
    Not a child anymore , but I have my own favorite childhood desserts , it seems like Althaïr is famous for a reason.

    Second Part of Cafleurebon and Olya Bar co-curated vanilla fragrances is here , love it.
    I’ve heard people talking about in high regards of Atelier des Ors Lune Feline , and based on what I read there’s a good reason for that. It’s made by Marie Salamagne , creamy and comforting fragrance with rich undertones of vanilla ice cream, cinnamon, smoke and even some animalic ambergris. Lune Féline is a fragrance with lots of depth, and unique character .
    Vanilla dusted with brown sugar aroma brings back memories of my childhood, I’ll sample Fire at Will . I do have a favorite Jovoy fragrance, it’s Remember Me , also a vanilla fragrance.
    I know well Herod, Layton and Layton Exclusif, but not Althaïr. Olya Bar painted a picture of a fragrance with intricate boozy and caramelized orange fragrance that would make me return to it repeatedly.

    I loved this co-curated contemporary vanillas part 2. Vanilla based fragrances are some of the favorites in my collection. I love that warm and cozy feeling in thw cooler weather and the sensual sweetness in the warmer weather. Lune Feline, Fire at Will, and Althair are 3 exceptional releases. Atelier des Ors Lune Feline has been on my wishlist for a long time, so I would love the opportunity to win it. I am from the USA.
