Amouage Journey Man Review (Pierre Negrin and Alberto Morillas) + Chinese Film Noir Draw

Amouage Journey Man review

Amouage Journey Man Collage by Michelyn

Amouage is a well-known niche brand from Oman with a loyal and cult following throughout the world.  In 2014, Former Creative Director Christopher Chong drew upon on his personal experiences, as well as integrating other art forms like Chinese Cinema, when he worked with Firmenich perfumers Alberto Morillas and Pierre Negrin to bring very different ways of traveling to life: Journey for Woman is “a quiet, observing traveler that first lays out a path”, and Journey for Man “takes an intrepid leap into the unknown.”

Amouage Journey Man review

Man of Tai Chi Movie Poster (2013)

There are so many favorites from the past twelve years under Christopher’s vision (you can read our tribute here), but one that is sometimes overlooked is Amouage Journey Man,  a powerhouse of spice and heat.

 Best Amouage fragrances for men

This is a wonderfully complex scent with many different aspects. A touch of citrus, quite a bit of leather all mingled in an incensed spiced aura of Sichuan Pepper, it smells slightly dangerous like a character in a Chinese film noir. I know many women who go for the more masculine scents who would certainly enjoy Amouage Journey Man

Notes:  Sichuan Pepper, Bergamot, Cardamom, Neroli, Bigarade, Juniper Berries, Incense, Pure Gerniol, Tobacco Leaves, Tonka Beans, Cypriol, Leather, Ambrox

Sebastian nails another review – citrus, leather, spice and the power of Amouage are a great combination. Haven’t tried this one, but a big fan of Beach Hut Man and Reflection Man.

Sebastian always has a way of being more in-depth than a lot of other sources, especially when it comes to such complex niche releases as Amouage’s Journey. I’ve been looking forward to his take on this one. This really is a beauty. Although it doesn’t smell like Creed Viking, it definitely has that Warming and Cooling effect that Viking gives me. Would love to own a full bottle!

  • Aaron McDaniel says:

I always love Sebastian’s insight into fragrances. His description makes Journey Man sound amazing! I hope to get my nose on this fragrance now.

  • I enjoyed Sebastian’s Journey Man fragrance review because it was well balanced and at the same time informative and passionate. To be honest, all of Sebastian’s reviews usually are! Please put me down for the giveaway as I love the idea of a cardamom-incense-tobacco-leather combination. Thank you

  • Liked his description of warm and spicy with geranial(probably spelled that wrong) to freshen it up!

  • Ahmed Hamoda says:

My favorite niche house. Didn’t have a chance to try Journey Man yet. Thanks for sharing!

  • I haven’t tried this house and only have heard positive things about it. I’m a big fan of leather fragrances, what a great review Sébastien

  • As the bottle shape reflects and as Sebastian confirms, Journey Man is quite a spicy fragrance. it has a bit of resemblance to Fate Man, too. USA

  • Andrew Scott says:

  • Sounds amazing to me. Sebastian always brings life to the frags he’s reviewing. Can’t wait to give this one a try!

  • Sebastion provided another quality review. This one sounds amazing with the peppery, spicey, incense, woods and leather. Cheers from Oregon!

Always good reviews, about this house just try interlude i got a decant very good fragance, Sebastian greetings to you

  • love the review done by Sebastian, I have never tried this scent before or actually any of them. I do really like leather scent’s and wood scents. He really explains well and goes into deep about the fragrance makes me want to buy a bottle but can’t really afford to right know. Job well done Thanks You Sebastian good jon on the review

  • I love Sebastian’s reviews! I liked how he said this scent is a less rough take on leather and also his description of the Sichuan Pepper and it having a citrus nuance. I have yet to try anything from Amouage but would like to try this and Reflection Man quite a bit. I’m in the USA. Thanks for the generous draw!

  • Ranjan Sinha says:

Awesome detailed review by Sebastian. He is always so descriptive and trustworthy. He is always on the mark and trust his judgement.

  • I love Amouage, I have Jubilation (my favorite from them), Lyric, and Reflection. I’ve always wanted to try this one. I like that Sebastian likens it to Memo African Leather (which I love) so that’s reassuring that I’ll like it. Cheers from Indiana, USA.

  • I love Amouage Woman and it sounds like I would enjoy Amouage Journey Man as well. I love leather as a fragrance note and this scent doesn’t appear to skimp on the leather! Lovely review as always, Sebastian! I’m in the US.

  • h a r o l d says:

Would love to have a chance to win Journey Man. Liked how Sebastian described it as something that starts pungent and gets sweeter and cooler as it goes. I love spicy tobacco scents and it sounds like something I’d really enjoy. I’ve tried Interlude and Jubilation and they’re both great!

    Thanks!
    -Rob, NY USA

  • I don’t know Journey Man was based on Chinese movies so I really liked the review and that it is underrated. Love spice and incense. Imitation man is my favorite

  • Power house Amouage + Alberto Morillas must be masterpiece!
Woody, spicy, leather + tobacco must be in my collection.
Thanks that we have Sebastian to learn more about the great frags. I’m going to sample this for sure.
    Greetings from Jersey!

  • This sounds great would love to own a bottle. I have tried Sunshine man and Beach hut both are winners.

  • Thank you Sebastian, for this fantastic review and thank you to Europerfumes (Love all the brands you represent!!!!) for the generous giveaway.

I love listening to and watching Sebastian’s reviews. I’m so glad you did this review, this is the very first Amouage I ever tried and I fell in love with it! Sebastian does a phenomenal job of describing how this fragrance unfolds, from the pungent top notes down to the drydown.

Amouage makes some phenomenal fragrances, I really need to get a bottle of one of my many favs from Amouage, Journey being top, then Bracken then Figment.

    I’m in the USA.

    Thank you.

  • I love the energy of Sebastian’s video. It matches the energy of the fragrance. It’s one of my most favorite sample pick-ups.

  • ian e fettig says:

  • Sebastian always bring something different to his Chanel. What I like about his review he gets straight to the point. And I am glad he did a review on that particular amouage because I have been thinking about purchasing a bottle. Sebastian have me convinced to buy a bottle and he did give his honest opinion how the fragrance starts off. Thank you for the review well done as always never get bored of Sebastian content.

  • Sebastian as always makes your want you go out and buy a bottle. Hopefully I Can win a on this draw. I have Sunshine. USA

I love Sebastian’s videos! Thank your for the review and the giveaway. Today I received an Amouage discovery set, but this one is not there and would be a great part of my collection!

  • Paula Jefferson says:

I just ordered a sample of Journey Man a few days ago. So, Sebastian’s review was right on time.

  • Hey Sebastian,

So far Amouage is 2 for 2 with me. I’ve tried and love Interlude man and Jubilation 25. When you described this fragrance as a leathery warm spicy scent it definitely piqued my interest. I will be checking this one out for sure.

  • Great review! Loved how is fragrance was described and the great information about it. Can’t wait to smell it for myself!

  • Matt Piasecki says:

Just recently started getting into Amouage. I currently have 3 in my collection now. Reflection man, Jubilation XXV and Bracken. I’ve sampled a bunch more, and Journey is definitely one I want to add, just hard to find a good price. Thanx for the giveaway!!

  • If Sebastian says it deserves attention, then it is a must try. The pungent opening is fine since it is short lived. Love the warm spicy opening then woody-leathery drydown. Haven’t tried any from this brand so it will be a dream come true to own one. Cheers from IL, USA.

  • Very helpful review by Sebastian as always. Good to know that there is a pungent but short-lived initial scent burst. Shouldn’t be an issue though since I think most people live for the dry down anyway, which sounds fantastic. Have not tried Journey Man before but my favorite Amouage fragrance is Jubilation XXV. Have high hopes for this one now. Regards from Boston USA.

  • I enjoyed Sebastian’s in-depth and very descriptive opinion on Journey Man! The pepper, bergamot, and leather notes mingling sounds very lovely! I can’t wait to try this one out!

  • Just watched the 2010-19 decade choices Sebastian featured and this bottle caught my attention. It is beautiful. The heart notes are wonderful. I appreciate his describing the notes after the first spray and the time it takes to begin the change. I’m in the US

  • Sebastian always has great reviews, This one was no exception. I’ve never tried this and actually do not know someone who has. So its a mystery that must be solved. Thank you for the great review and generous draw. I’m in the USA

  • My husband loves this fragrance. We were talking about it yesterday and then I saw that Sebastian uploaded his review. We have bought several fragrances he recommended. He has great taste!

  • I absolutely love Journey Man! I agree with sebastion it is very under rated. I have yet to be able to get a new bottle since I’ve ran out a couple years back. This always reminds me of my late father, and how he would smell after a trip to his barber. It just takes me right into the old shop with english oak walls and antique leather barbers chairs and the sandalwood fragrance he would splash on after a straight razor shave and he’d stand up out of the chair and put his jacket on.
Sebastion is spot on with his description, I immediately remember the smell and would love a chance to win a bottle. Thank you

  • I enjoyed Sebastian describing the leather and recommending it to those who like Memo African Leather. For those who have yet t smell Journey Man it is always good to have a reference of something else to compare

  • Sébastien Always does it well and breaks everything down clearly. I am glad that he chose to review Amouage Journey because it has got so many great notes that makes it so interesting to smell. I’d dreamed about smelling it. However, I’ll try to sample it now

  • Sebastian can sell salt to the ocean. I’m typically a fan of casual scents but he makes me want to spray on this head turning scent. Another fantastic review for a scent I usually wouldn’t have been interested in!

  • I recently followed Sebastian’s channel and love all his reviews. Being that I recently started getting into fragrances. Watching his channel has helped me to really get into collecting. Seeking new scents and brands and trying so many amazing scents.

  • ThatMulattoDude says:

I’ve always wanted to try an Amouage fragrance but have not yet had the opportunity. Sebastian’s review depicted a scent profile that sounds really appealing to me. I just purchased Ombre Leather and enjoy how that sits on my skin. I also own Spicebomb Extreme and dig the allure of that spice blend. Add in tobacco and we’re talking about some truly powerful juice. Appreciate the opportunity to win this giveaway, thanks. -Virginia, USA

  • Never tried but it sounds like heaven and the reference to Chinese noir films is unique. If sebastian says it’s a great one I want to win it.

  • Wilson Siavichay says:

Great review, and I will like to enter into the giveaway for 3 reasons.
    1. I love this niche house, I already got jubilation XV and Reflection man.
    2. I like a lot tobacco, leather and woody notes in a perfume.
    3. Because Alberto Morillas is one of my favorite perfumologist

  • I like that Sebastian mentioned that if you like certain other fragrances, you might like this one, it’s useful! WA USA

  • I would like to enter the giveaway. What I enjoyed is that Sebastian is a little more focused and simple in his reviews recently, and I appreciate that he hasn’t come out with his fragrance hahaha. The way he described Journey really made me want the fragrance.

  • Sebastian never fails to impress with his explanation of perfumes, to the point that he makes me want to buy this Amouage perfume with all my saved money. Citrus, leather, and spice do not sound like it would blend, but Sebastian’s preferences never go wrong. Syracuse, NY

  • I absolutely adore this house. I own quite a few Amouage fragrances for woman and it would be so nice to finally beeing able to smell those exquisite scents on my husband, who’s birthday is coming soon. Thank you, Sebastian for this draw! You and Chrisyopher Chong are both the top in what you do! Regards!

  • Always enjoy Sebastians insightful reviews. Amouage Journey Man would be the top notch addition to my collection because I love the notes and Chinese/Martial arts films!

  • Sebastian it’s always incredibly informative. For this review, I definitely appreciated his take on the Sichuan pepper note.
I would love to try this fragrance!
    From California.

  • Sebastian description of the fragrance is like an art.
He giving the viewer’s a perfect point of view on how the fragrance is really like.

  • I found Sebastian’s review of this fragrance very intriguing. I appreciate the honesty in which he describes it’s opening, but explains that quickly evolves into an amazing masculine scent. I would love to have an opportunity to win the sample that will be given away. If I don’t win, I would like to know how to get my hands on a sample.

  • Wow this sounds very interesting. A collab with Morillas in a powerhouse like Amouage it’s a must try. I want it.

  • I’m really enjoying the house of amourage got interlude man and bracken man both are great hope to try this one out the leather and spices intrigues me

  • Man this sounds awesome! I have only tried a few from Amouage, but never this. I would love to experience a sichuan pepper heavy scent, especially with the leather!

  • C Khalil Nasir says:

For a person that loves tobacco & leather scents, the way Sebastian explains how the notes comes together from the dry down makes this fragrance so interesting to explore.

  • Journey Man is a great fragrance, but for those who don’t know it, beware like Sebastian correctly pointed out the opening is harsh and ultra spicy.
Beautiful woody spicy, a bit creamy, warm and aromatic, and also balsamic.
At the moment i do own 4 Amouage fragrances – Jubilation XXV for men – the best Amouage fragrance , Intelude Man also known as “The Blue Beast” , Lilac Love and Blossom Love .
I wear only what like-designer,niche,indie. Don’t care if it’s marketed for guys or girls. All it matters to me is my own opinion.I not only own and love Lilac Love and Blossom Love , but quite a few fragrances marketed for women.Does not bother me one bit.
    Already follow @cafleurebon @lookfeelsmellgreat , @Offical_ europerfumes , @amouageofficial and @morillas.alberto .

  • Sebastian was great as usual. The review is short n informative. Amouage is one of my favorite niche houses. I have not tried Journey yet. Hopefully I can win the giveaway.
    Thank you all.

  • Journey Man sounds unique, and no doubt it’s shapeshifting fragrance like all Amouage fragrances I personally know. Such dry experience with tobacco, juniper berries, leather and lots of spices. Now I’d like to try, and own Journey Man.
Jubilation XXV is a staple in my collection . Smells a bit like a mix between BlackBerry crumble traybake and BlackBerry Swirl Muffins with honey butter both with cinnamon. Can’t help it- Pastry Chef in me goes forward 🙂
Appreciate the review , and the giveaway campaign

  • Just, by coincidence, got a sample of Journey Man which I can best describe as “intoxicating”. It’s so different that it was a pleasure to view Sebastian’s video today and see what others think of it.
My favorite part of the video was how he described the difference between the initial spray and the dry down. Still learning my way around how to best wear it and have saved it, for now, for special occasions. I feel like I’m a 3-fragrance person and this very well could be one of the 3 as I figure out what my Signature(s) is/are.
    Thanks.

  • This one sounds interesting. Great review video, as always. I’d love to win a bottle of this! Michigan, USA.

  • Great review as always Sebastian. I’d love to try this out! I own Reflection Man and a decant of Jubilation XXV and so far I am impressed with Amouage.

  • Sheila Ashley says:

I enjoy the thorough and pleasant nature of this review. I am hoping to win this wonderful perfume for my husband for Valentine’s Day! I love how you describe the notes.

  • Malthe Jensen says:

I’d love to participate in the giveaway for Amouage Journey Man! It’s the one fragrance that got me into the niche world of fragrances, and I’ve been wanting it for a long time. It’s unique, exotic, elegant, and sexy – it’d be perfect for a wedding, and just as perfect as a club banger. Sebastian’s analysis was spot on, and can’t wait to hear from you guys!

  • lookingfeelingsmellinggreat says:

A great scent, big and bold and very underrated. Great intro here as well as I didn’t know some of the details about this scent. 🙂

  • Sebastian gives a good sense of the experience of wearing the fragrance as always. Especially by mentioning other similar scents that are familiar. I really like African Leather by Memo and the others by Amouage, so I’m interested in trying this one.

  • Sebastian’s Journey Man fragrance review was very informative. Leather, tobacco, cardamom – all sounds beautiful. I would really love to try it out. Please enter me in your giveaway.

  • Unique Amouage fragrance with dominant with juniper berries, tobacco leathery feel , and slight sweetness too. Hmmm why I always skip Journey Man?
    Sign me in asap.
My favorite Amouage is Jubilation XXV . What a masterpiece of a fragrance. If I have to live with 4 fragrances until the rest of my life , Jubilation XXV will be one of those 4. Sebastian himself started this challenge on his YouTube channel.
As I said Jubilation XXV is on a different level. First time I’ve smelled it my eyes started rolling out.
Thank you all for the draw

  • This is definitely a must-try. The short and concise review Sebastian posted definitely opens my eyes to the spicier, more bold fragrances.

  • Impressive of Sebastian to highlight a niche fragrance using this medium. Really captures the essence of the fragrance, and poses it in a way that makes it appealing to the every day man.

  • Emphasizing the understated quality of the fragrance was simply eye-opening. Nice comprehensive review by Sebastian, as master of his own craft.

  • Overall just a great review and a wonderful job by Sebastian as always. Looking forward to the drawing! Located in the U.S.

  • Forgot to mention, Sebastian’s review of the subdued heat the fragrance brought appealed to me. I’m gonna head over to my nearest boutique and nab some samples.

  • Always love Sebastian’s take & informed opinions on fragrance, fragrance houses, notes & I truly trust his taste!!

  • youngadvisor says:

I love how Sebastian articulates how the opening, mid, and drydown smell it sounds like a perfect scent for this NYC Winter Ibam currently experiencing, PS I would really, really, really, really, love to finally own a full of an amouage fragrance especially Journeyman bottle i would love to smell, “like a character in a Chinese film noir. “

  • Andrei Artimon says:

Another detailed and honest review , favourite from the house is jubilation 25 , new york , usa .

  • Enjoyed the concise review. Based on the description, this probably won’t top reflection man for me but I’m still interested in getting my nose on it!

  • I like all of the Amouage fragrances that I have tried thus far. I really enjoy Memoir Man. There are still quite a few I would love to try, including this one. Thank you for the draw! US.

  • patrick_348 says:

I especially liked Sebastian’s description of sichuan pepper and its qualities. I also always appreciate it when he suggests the best time of year to wear the fragrance. He made this sound very appealing and one could feel his enthusiasm for it,

  • i can always follow sebastion’s descriptions. amouage journey man sounds terrific—big sichuan pepper w/neroli!

  • IvanVelikov says:

Pierre Negrin created one of the best incense fragrances on the market – Interlude man. To me Interlude Man is one of the best , if not the best ever created in this category . Stunning fragrance.Happy to own it. Went through 3 bottles during the years.

Journey Man is new to me , but i like masculine spicy and woody, and the big plus is the incense, one of my favorite notes.

Thank you for the great draw

  • I wasn’t sure about Journey Man until I heard Sebastian confirm my thoughts. Thanks from New Jersey, U.S.A.

  • Armando Esparza Jr says:

Got excited when he mentioned its similiar to Memo Paris’s African Leather. Big fan of that and cant wait to try Journey Man!

  • I recently tried other flavors from Amouage: Gold and Dia and I really liked them, now I want to try the Journey Man. Before that, I bought several flavors after watching Sebastian, and I look at our tastes coincide. from Connecticut USA

  • This sounds incredible! Even though it’s masculine scent, those prominent notes of Tobacco, Incense, Leather, Cypriol, Juniper, Bergamot, and Cardamom are such a great combination, I know I’d love it on myself (and I could share it with my boyfriend). I don’t own any Amouage fragrances but would love to start with this one.
I live in the USA (PA)

  • I like Sebastian style of description!!!
    Bravo!
The most lovely perfumery ingredient is leather. This perfume sounds very amazing.
    US

  • Sebastian, I like your videos very much! Beautiful review as always!
I have tested Journey Man only one time and do not remember my feelings. But must to try again, because I like leather and with tobacco it will be very masculine. I appreciate Amouage’s very good longevity and projection!

Sebastian always has a way of being more in-depth than a lot of other sources, especially when it comes to such complex niche releases as Amouage’s Journey.

I have been very vocal about my love for tobacco note and this from Amouage, was always in my radar however due to price couldn’t buy yet however thanks to Amouage and Cafleurebon I finally have a chance to win it.

I’ve been looking forward to Sebastian take on Journey Man. This really is a beauty. And after this review, I am sure that I would love to own it’s bottle too.

Thanks to your platform, I would like to take the opportunity to pray for the soul of Sultan Qaboos (person behind Amouage house) who passed away on 12 Jan.

After Enigma, Amouage Journey Man would literally make me happy if I win it.

Thanks everyone for your efforts to make it possible.

    I am from Georgia, USA!

  • Journey Woman I have , but not the male counterpart.
To me what’s “masculine” , “feminine” or “unisex” fragrance is subjective . The Secret Garden line Sebastian hinted at , I don’t find particularly feminine, especially Blossom Love and Lilac Love.
As a woman i do love the house of Amouage , but to be honest i mostly prefer men’s versions.Reflection Men > Reflection Women , Lyric Man>Lyric Women and so on.
Own full bottles of Jubilation XXV – 100% unisex fragrance too , Journey Woman -the only one on pair with men’s version, and 10ml decant of Lilac Love-a fragrance i adore , and i do plan to get full bottle.
I have to say i really like remark here -> “I know many women who go for the more masculine scents who would certainly enjoy Amouage Journey Man.” That’s me 🙂
Journey Man I briefly smelled late October, and I think it’s much more tobacco, than leather fragrance. Amouage quality without a doubt.
Thanks to Sebastian and Europerfumes for the draw. USA

  • Not sure if I’ve sampled this before. Reflection Man was nice. I enjoy cardamom so this might be nice. Thank for the giveaway. Enjoyed the review

  • Sebastian as usual gives another very well balanced and in-depth review. I actually didn’t know Amouage till I stumbled on Sebastian’s channel on Youtube and went on to test 5 and loved Epic Man on first sniff. Cardamom, leather and tobacco leaves sound like a great combo. Thank you for the review and the giveaway. I’m in USA

  • Sebastian has exceptional taste, and his preferences are very similar to mine, so when he recommends something – especially a fragrance that I’ve been particularly curious about – I take notice. Amouage is a favorite perfume house of mine, and Journey has been on my radar for a while now. Also, I’m a former resident of SF so there’s definitely a sense of kinship in that regard as well. Cheers Sebastian, and thanks to you fine folks at cafleurebon for facilitating this giveaway!

  • Its always nice to hear how Sebastian breaks down any fragrance. He points out any flaws but always highlights the positives. I definitely want to try amouage’s journey man. It sounds like a very complex and interesting scent.

  • Sebastian is great reviewer! I like his videos very much. I need to test Amouage Journey Man, because it is interesting for me combination of spices and leather.
    US

  • Thanks for another great review, Sebastian! As always, your reviews are amazing! I would love to smell this incense, tobacco, spice, leather scent so thanks for this draw. My favorite Amouage is Reflection. – CA, USA

  • m.r.everything says:

Sebastian always has great reviews, so what is there not to like about the content?!? I love he describes the scent…. he says it is one of Amouage’s best, in his opinion. He says that if you like fragrances like African Leather by Memo, you should definitely give this one a try! I do agree with him, when he says it is one of the less talked about fragrances in the Amouage lineup, however, that is due to all of the other quality scents in the line that seem to have an edge over this one!

I had the chance to sample Journey Man a while back and I fell in love. I do not currently own a bottle, but I would definitely love to! I happen to own and love Myths Man, Interlude Man, and Jubilation 25… all outrageously fantastic fragrances!Journey Man has been on my list for a few years now and will surely be a purchase in the future.

Thank you Sebastian, for another great review and for giving us your take on a masterpiece from the house of Amouage! Thank you Europerfumes for your generosity and for this amazing giveaway! This is undeniably a fantastic draw and one I am surely grateful for! Thank you to MIchelyn, of course, for putting all of this together! It’s Friday, woot woot! I hope everyone has a great weekend! Amouage always reminds me of my childhood in Muscat Oman. A little known fact is that the brand was established at the request of the late Sultan of Oman, as a way of preserving traditional Arabic perfumery.

As usual Sebastian does not leave any aspects of this fragrance out.

    Regards from WI, USA

  • Jeff Ensley says:

I really like the idea of how pepper and leather can play in earthy harmony, bringing a yin and yang vibe to this rich and exotic fragrance! Spot on, Sebastian! Again, of course.

  • Michael Prince says:

Sebastian, great review of Amouage Journey Man. I love how descriptive and passionate Sebastian is about reviewing fragrances. This fragrance has so many different things going on with spicy elements, tobacco, citruses, and a nice wearable leather. I haven’t tried any Amouage fragrances. I am from the USA.

  • I love leather fragrances, so the idea of a unique take on a leather fragrance is always a way to get my attention. So many of the other notes in this fragrance sound appealing to me as well! I already know that I love cardamom, bigarade, juniper, incense, tobacco, tonka, and cypriol, and I’m fascinated by the spicy, bracing blast of Sichuan pepper, which is one of my favorite spices to use in cooking due to its incredible numbing effect, but which I’ve never smelled in a fragrance before! The woodsy-spicy drydown sounds incredible as well, and I’ve liked every fragrance I’ve ever tried from Amouage so my chances of falling in love with it are high! I am in the US 🙂

  • ScentitarFragrance says:

I enjoyed Sebastian’s review for his description of the main accords and how the fragrance can make one feel. I love this fragrance for the leather and unique spicy quality ! A true beauty and I live in the usa.

  • Amouage Journey Man is the prime example why you should never judge the book by its cover. When I tried it the opening was overpowering, but half an hour later it develops into really good tobacco, incense, leather and juniper berries. Masculine fragrance.
I’m really excited for this giveaway. USA
    Regards

  • Nice leather-tobacco fragrance , with Sichuan pepper and tonka beans. Hello Journey Man. Amouage fragrances are really unique. All i have smelled, you should never get without sampling first. Some could smell completely different on every person when you spaying them on skin. For example both Sunshine Men , and Reflection Man are two completely different scents on me , and on my husband. • Since the first time I bought a sample, I immediately fell in love with Amouage Journey Man. And always wondered why this beautiful fragrance was so underrated and under appreciated. To me it’s a masterpiece.

  • Always love his reviews.
Not just detailed, but gives you a great idea of who might like it, and when/where you might wan to wear it.

As usual Sebastian was really detailed in his description of not just the notes but the feeling that came with Journey Man. It was his review that prompted my purchase of Reflection Man and my current plans to add Jubilation to my collection.

I love leather fragrances and Amouage Journey Man will be one to try. Sebastian’s review on Journey Man was very informative and I trust his nose so off to get samples I go! I liked the info on the Sichuan pepper. USA!
