I was lured in by passion and originality. Early last year I had heard inklings on the fragrance grapevine that a new house, Azman, had an exciting approach. The brand enlisted a stellar cast of perfumers was making waves amongst aficionados. Writers whose opinions I trust began to wax lyrical about the compositions. My interest piqued I sought out the brand and was fortunate enough to receive the latest release. At that time, it was Azman Perfumes Killer Vavoom, the inventive mind behind the concept was Husen Baba (founder and owner) and the nose Miguel Matos. The scent sent me into an olfactive spin of which I am yet to come out from.

Then came the summer of 2022, a chance meeting in the hallways of the MiMCo conference centre at Esxence (Milan) with Husen Baba where I was presented with a quirky matchbox containing the collection of samples of each perfume. Husen is an engaging person, given his accomplishments in the advertising world one could expect him to present as flamboyant. However here was a humble gentleman dressed casually in trademark baseball hat and black sports gear. I was immediately struck by how engaging, genuine and passionate about Azman he was and at his ability to discuss many other aspects of life with ease.

Fast forward and Azman seems on the crest of a wave in 2023. The word is out, the perfumes are impactful, and the names and presentation create a sense of intrigue and butterflies prior to spritzing them. Smelling them conjures specific images in one’s mind and each has its own signature – all demonstrate high quality materials. My task for this article was to choose only three as a way of exploring the highlights of Azman, this was not an easy decision to make. For the uninitiated, I wanted a crowd pleaser, a mind blower and a challenging composition. So, without further ado here are my choices.

Azman Perfumes Two Minutes After The Kiss

Azman Two Minutes After The Kiss by Karl©

Azman Two Minutes After The Kiss (Cristiano Canali) 2021: What a splendid name for a perfume! To me it evokes that blush of emotions one feels when overcome by the intimacy of tenderness, so a rose / oud profile is extremely befitting. Bravo. While the scent profile is very familiar and a gentle introduction to Azman Perfumes, Two Minutes After The Kiss holds a few surprises that make it stand out from its peers. My skin seems to expose verdant and woody aspects of fragrances and here the deep and lush Turkish Rose is complimented with Guatemalan Cardamom which brings across a crisp and medicinal quality which I did not expect. This gives the perfume a chypre vibe and steers it clear of being a cloying and overly sweet scent. French Beeswax underpins the rose and serves up a rendering of golden amber tonality and is a beautiful juxtaposition to the cardamom. The performance of  Azam Two Minutes After The Kiss is exceptional and one can attribute this to the generous amounts of Ambrocenide in the base it has a stealthy effusive quality which ensures that you will be noticed. The dark leather accord and soft florals at play are delicately balanced and the Laos Oud links smoothly with the accompanying notes to give an edginess, keeping the medicinal and earthy aspects to the fore.

Notes: Turkish rose, Jamaican pepper, Omani frankincense, Guatemala cardamom, Turkish rose absolute, Laos oud, Indonesian patchouli, Somalian myrrh, French beeswax, selectone, Indian sandalwood, Haitian vetiver, dark leather accord, Spanish labdanummusk, ambrocenide.

Azman Killer Vavoom

 Azman Killer Vavoom by Karl©

Azman Perfumes Killer Vavoom (Miguel Matos) 2022: For those who follows our articles closely will recognise that Azman Killer Vavoom made my top ten of 2002 selection (as well as Editor-in-Chief Michelyn Camen’s). It had such an impact on me that I consider it will be a staple in my collection for years to come. Perfumer Miguel Matos has created something truly outstanding and utterly unique. From beginning to end Killer Vavoom had me gripped with its chypre construction and lip-smacking gourmand and creamy elements. It sparks the senses with molten chocolate and plum, the floral eastern tones of osmanthus, jasmin and iris concrete usher in a deeply sensual experience. It is rich and decadent and feels like an entry to something forbidden and very daring. The skill required to carry through the original opening of boozy fruitiness right the way to the end of the wearing experience is something to behold. The finale of Killer Vavoom is a deft amalgamation of slightly leathery, sweet and cocooning tones which are mouth-watering and leave an imprint of sultriness on the skin. Just magnificent.

Azman Majnoon review

 Azman Majnoon by Karl©

Azman Perfumes Majnoon (Prin Lomros) 2022: Pour me a glass of Merlot, light me a cigar and be done with it, Azman Majnoon is a huge statement of a scent. I have heard the coffee note heralded as the centrepiece of Majnoon (it can be found) but on my skin it is more of a harmony of boozy reddish fruits, smoky and leathery tones, and a swirl of ouds (Trat and Assam). The sweeter gourmand aspects of nutmeg, cinnamon, coffee absolute and tonka glide softly in and out of the experience. However, the overarching feel is a silky dark and growling panther of a perfume. I would not consider Majnoon to have the typical top, mid, base structure. Rather it morphs between boozy animalic, leathery and soft florals. The nagarmotha is quite prominent and acts to fuse the cinnamon and woods tying the composition together as a hybrid scent of complex and bold proportions.

Notes: Pomegranate, SaffronCloveNutmeg, Cinnamon, Coffee Absolute, Champaca, RoseLeatherTobaccoTonka Bean, Nagarmotha, Oud from Thailand (Trat), Oud from India (Assam), Patchouli, Amber, IncenseVanilla

  • I wish to try this house because it is highly regarded by the reviewer and the house was represented on several “best of” lists of 2022. For the draw I choose Two Minutes After the Kiss. US

  • Adil Mjaoui says:

I would like to try Azman Perfumes because I consider this house as one of the highest quality fragrance houses, noble ingredients are perceived and the composition is well done. the fragrances are pretty oriental and it is not made for apprentice noses. Standard cured packaging. Bottles are well made.
For the draw I prefer Two Minutes After the Kiss

  • FragranceIsMe says:

Husen’s creations are nothing short of stunning. I’ve had the opportunity to get my nose on all his fragrances. I currently own “I Am Darkness”. It is a unique smokey oud that I just cannot get enough of. All three of the fragrances in this article are calling my name. The notes and composition of these fragrances are quite alluring to me. The toughest decision for me this past 1/2 hour was not what I’m writing (took only 1 min.) but which one of Husen’s creations to choose, If I’m lucky enough to win this giveaway. After much thought and many coin tosses, Majnoon won out 🙂 I live in the USA

  • I would like to try Azman because it is quite an esteemed house. The most intriguing, as well as the one I would like to win, is killer mamoom because of the chocolate note. I’m in California

  • It is clear from the reviews of all perfumes that one of the signature style of Azman perfumes is focus on ambery, leathery notes. This is def. a brand for those who like their fragrances to be bold and different from safe designers. I am most intrigued by Majnoon as it goes through quite different stages such as leather, floral, and boozy animalic. My choice is Majnun. I am in US.

  • Johnmc5000 says:

I would pick the Manjoon because I think it is time to start smoking cigars again.
    Maybe sampling ports also.
Not familiar with the house but can’t wait to sniff.

  • Sorohan Adriana says:

I want Killer Vavoom because is a mixture of
Osmanthus and chocolate with precious flowers in the opulent heart such as iris, jasmin and rose augmenting the core of the scent, before the whole aromatic blend segues into a rapturous finale with oakmoss, and musky leather. I am from EU

  • I wish to try Azman perfumes because they are really interesting and beautiful. I also love the combination of notes they have. Azman Majnoon piques my interest. I would like to win Majnoon. How they are all unique but similar in the hart intrigues me. I live in Trzebnica, Poland, EU.

  • RonaldProkes17 says:

I have hear a variety of opinions about Azman perfumes. They seem to have quite the superstar rise since their conception.
I was particularly interested in Majnoon. As Karl mentioned the unorthodox structure I was immediately interested. I am a sucker for a good leather and oud fragrance. I also liked when it was described as a statement fragrance.
And of course, I am a huge fan of perfumer Prin Lomros. So, I would love to smell what he has done under the umbrella of Azman.

    I’m located in California, USA

  • I would like to try this house because they seem to be guided by passion and not necessarily sales, which often leads to much more interesting compositions. Karl has picked a wonderfull array of scents to share with us and I appreciate his intent on providing a spectrum of fragrances suitable for people in various stages of the fragrance journey. All 3 of these offerings sound great, but Killer Vavoom and Manjoon stand out the most to me. Ouds, spices, booziness, and leather are facets shared between them and notes that I personally adore. That said, if I were to win I would have to go with Killer Vavoom, solely because coffee tends to completely take over many fragrances on my skin and I would hate to get Manjoon and only smell the coffee. (I will certainly be ordering a sample of it, though.) Yes, my pick would be Killer Vavoom. I live in NC, USA.

  • Karl says it was hard for him to choose three top perfumes from this brand, because they are all such high quality. I love oud perfumes so I thought at least my choices have narrowed down somewhat (between Azman Perfumes Majnoon and Two Minutes After the Kids). But then I read the review of Vavoom, and the choice became hard again. I am impressed by the reviews praising this brand and how Karl described these three perfumes. I would love to try this brand. Maybe samples if I don’t win this draw. But, a big but, should I win this draw, I would love to try Azman Perfumes Majnoon, just because it’s difficult to make a lovely perfume from the strong, barnyard Indian oud, and because this brand is excellent at what it does, I’d love to see how they represent In dian Oud in Azman Perfumes Majnoon. Thanks for the excellent reviews and a very generous draw. I am from the continental United States.

  • I’ve been hearing so much about this house and seeing it everywhere. Karl chose a good selection. I’m most interested in trying Majnoon as I’m a big fan of Prin’s work. If I won I’d choose Majnoon. I live in Missouri, USA

  • I would like to try this house because it would be my first exposure to it. Nothing beats the excitement than trying something new for the first time. I’m intrigued by Killer Vavoom- for daring and forbidden experience. NY, USA

  • Azman is a new perfume company to me so the ability to try something different is always good. I’ve heard of Prin Lomros before in perfumery but I’m more interested in the note breakdown of TMATK by Cristiano Canali. All 3 scents seem very mysterious in their presentation though. I’m in US-California. Thank you.

  • Scentedlike says:

Yesss I love this article. I have Majnoon and I totally agree with what is said in the article. It stands out for choice of profile of the scent and quality of the ingredients chosen! The scents are very daring and I love that. I haven’t tried killer vavoom and it would definitely the one I’d choose now. A scent that smells lush and forbidden, is there anything better?
Husen is also really great and always ready to help choose a fragrance or with orders.
    I’m in Italy !

  • Thank you, Karl, for this introduction! My dream is to go one day to Exsence, too, to have the chance to discover all those beauties!

All three are looking very promising, buuuut this part sound spectacular, given my old love of chocolate delights – a deft amalgamation of slightly leathery, sweet and cocooning tones which are mouth-watering and leave an imprint of sultriness on the skin. Azman Perfumes Killer Vavoom is my choice!

    In live in Europe

  • I am curious to try Azman because of the extreme praise it has been given lately, on Cafleurebon and other sources also. Actually, I am quite sure Killer Vavoom has been selected in editors’ “best of 2022” tops so often, it must be a masterpiece. Another reason to want to try them is because the fragrances are described as unique and visionary, and from the description, they sound both powerful and cozy.
Of course I would pick Killer Vavoom, should I win. I have to see what is it that mesmerized (at least) half of the Cafleurebon team!!
    Commenting from the EU.
    Thanks a lot.

  • Danu Seith-Fyr says:

Wonderful, truly a majestic article showcasing three incredible perfumes, Husen is generous and passionate. Karl has managed in a fairly short form to encapsulate all three impeccably. Thank you. I must say I would be thrilled to own a bottle of Two Minutes After the Kiss.

I am very curious about Majnoon. I like the notes in this one and I have not tried anything yet that was created by Prin Lomros, although I know that he has quite a following in the world of perfumery. Thank you for the draw! Europe

This really does it for me: ‘It sparks the senses with molten chocolate and plum, the floral eastern tones of osmanthus, jasmin and iris concrete usher in a deeply sensual experience. It is rich and decadent and feels like an entry to something forbidden and very daring.’
I am all about gourmand scents with a twist, so I feel that Killer Vavoom would be staple in my collection for years to come as well.
Many thanks for this nice chance! EU reader here.

Oh! Another great review by Karl Topham!
Azman is a brand that really picks my attention Up and that is in my list for trying for months.
I think my Favourite from the Karl’s THREE would be Killer vavoom. On the one hand because Miguel Matos is probably my Favourite perfumist and on the other hand because I really LOVE the notes and the concept. My second choice would be Majnoon by Prin Lomros.
Therefore I would like to win Killer Vavoom!!❤️
    BEST regards from Galicia, Spain!

  • Gnossiennes says:

Though never have the chance to find a counter, Azman is a house that I am interested in for a while, because of all those amazing perfumers. It is cruel to make a choice among the three works, if I have the luck to win the giveaway, since I love all these three perfumers so much.
If I have to choose, I may choose Miguel Matos’ Killer Vavoom. Besides all Karl’s compliments, I know Miguel Matos is a believer in the 80s’ powerhouse. So it will be definitely interesting to learn how he lays all the gourmand and the floral into the chypre structure!

  • ScentedClown says:

I like that he uses a wide variety of perfumer’s each with the own signature to the works and the one that most interests me is Majnoon as its made by one of my favourite perfumers prin lomros.

Looking at Karls selection all seem to have different shades of darkness to them from the sultry to the comfortable peace of ones self smoking in the darkness.

    im based in the UK

  • I’ve been interested in trying Azman Perfumes since reading some of the earlier glowing reviews here. I have an affinity for attars and the Middle Eastern style of perfumery and am interested in Azman’s take. All three perfumes reviewed here by Karl sound beautiful, but I am most drawn to the double-oud Majnoon. I have tried a few other oud-based perfumes by Prin Lomros and found them quite addicting and inventive. If chosen for this giveaway, I’d love to try Majnoon!
    Best wishes from the US!

  • Im very interested in try this Fragrance house . Two minutes after the Kiss sounds wonderful. Love the Rose note. Best independent house, Top 10 best of 2022 . Congratulations Azman. Thank you for this Chance USA

  • Half-Pint says:

I have not tried anything from this house yet but have been curious about them since seeing them mentioned on so many lists last year. It seems Karl has picked some real beauties and I like that he tried to offer a diversified bunch for fols of different tastes to enjoy. Of these, I think I would be ost interested in Killer Vavoom because the plum, chocolate, and iris sound so comforting and delicious. I live in VA, USA.

  • I’ve heard a lot about this house ever since the top ten list from last year came out, especially with killer Vavoom yet haven’t gotten the chance to sample them yet. I see that rose is a common note between all of the featured fragrances, but I wonder how different the Turkish rose is in comparison to the other rose notes. The oud and rose, alongside with how Karl describes how it stands out from the three, really has my interest piqued for Azman Two Minutes After The Kiss. If I were to win I would choose two minutes after the kiss. From TX, USA.

  • Two of my favorite perfumers are featured in this wonderful review!! I’m intrigued by Killer Vavoom, because of its plum and chocolate notes. If lucky, it would be my choice. All three perfumes sound magical and unisexy. Thanks for the opportunity to sniff. Mich USA

  • What a fantastic review. I own Where We Used to Live & the quality of materials used are just amazing, I can just imagine how the others smell.
I would love to win Killer Vavoom. Love this description.

I am a huge fan of Azman and a proud owner of two Minutes After The Kiss.
I can’t say it was love at first sniff, but it has certainly grown on me, becoming one of my favourite fragrances.
I also tried Majnoon, but I must ad it, it didn’t blow my socks off.

I would love to try and win Killer Vavoom, as a I loved the thorough description of Karl… The notes seems amazing.

I’d like to win Two Minutes After The Kiss. I love cardamom, and it sounds like it blends nicely with rose and oud in this fragrance. New Jersey, USA

  • fragaddictma says:

Karl’s review helped me get what Azman was all about. I heard of them but never tried them because I cannot find them where I am. Azman seems to push the envelope by using established perfumers but pushing them to a new direction; this is why I love to try them. Karl’s choices helped narrowed it down to crowd pleasers and unique compositions. What interested me was Killer Vavoom by Miguel Matos as Karl described how it takes a certain skill to run that accord of boozy fruitiness throughout the composition of chypre gourmand. I am also intrigued by Two Minutes after the Kiss by CristianoCanali as it is a cardamom rose oud but still manages to be unique with leather/florals and ambrocenide. I would like to try Two Minutes after the Kiss.
    Thank you..

  • I’m interested in trying Azman perfumes because I’ve heard a lot about them and they sound skillfully composed and delicious to wear. It’s hard to choose which of the three here I would most like to sample, as they all sound special, but I think I land on Majnoon.
Thanks for the review and giveaway! I’m in the US.

  • These all sound intriguing but Majnoon especially grabs my interest . I love “big growling” perfumes so I’d absolutely love to try this. I appreciate that the brand uses artistic, off the beaten path perfumers and the bottle design is gorgeous too. From USA

  • Trinity33 says:

I was introduced to Azman through Cafleurebon but have never had the pleasure of trying any of their offerings. Karl is so effusive in his praise for the house that I must rectify that soon. All three fragrances Karl highlighted sound lovely but I would like to start with Killer Vavoom. A good chypre really is a test of the perfumer’s craft. The addition of plum, chocolate and osmanthus to the oakmoss base sounds inspired. MD, USA.

  • The complexities of each are interesting in the story they tell, but Killer Vavoom sounds like a must-try to me! I am always exploring perfumes and the Azman fragrances sound like experiences more than simple scent, which is part of the scent journey I like best! I live in the US.

  • kusudamakitten98 says:

I like the idea of a scent bringing forth an image or memory, and it seems that this house aims to execute this idea with such skill and expertise. Both Two Minutes After the Kiss and Killer Vavoom pique my interest — Two Minutes After the Kiss seems romantic whereas Killer Vavoom strikes me as sexy and confident. I liked Karl’s criteria for choosing the three different scents because while I tend to lean towards wearing crowd pleasers, I enjoy reading about the more technical aspects of a challenging composition. If chosen, I would love to experience Two Minutes After the Kiss because it sounds like an exceptionally wonderful rose oud fragrance!

    From NJ, USA

  • LovelyMouse says:

I would like to try the perfumes of this brand, because the rich color of the juice hints at the rich dense compositions inside each of the bottles. I love Karl’s poetic description of each fragrance. Especially, I was attracted by the description of Killer Vavoom. It’s very interesting when chocolate is paired with plum and osmanthus, which often has a beautiful apricot undertones. Thus it seems to me, that this fragrance is dedicated to these fruits covered in dark chocolate which is my one of my favorite desserts. That’s why I would like to win this fragrance.

  • Since i’ve been reading for the first time here about AZMAN Perfumes i craved trying them for their boldness , so Prin’s Majnoon caught my imagination, thanks from EU!

  • Taleofarose says:

Azman is absolutely my favorite perfume house, no debate! I have a bottle of “Two minutes.. “ and Karl is absolutely right, it’s like a delicate blush after an intense kiss.

Killer Vavoom would be my pick, and I would die to add it to my collection.

What a stunning review! If only I could get my nose on all three of them because they all definitely deserve a closer look. Being obsessed with oud, the more rich and more complex composition, the better, I would go with Azman Majnoon. That leather, coffee, pomegranate and oud bingo is absolutely gorgeous! I live in EU

  • I’m intrigued by the notes in Manjoon and by Karl’s beautiful photos. From California, US

  • Great review by Karl!
I have been keeping my eyes on Azman Perfumes since I tried Majnoon, which is a work of art.
I think these three are amazing pieces of art and perfumery, being Killer Vavoom the one who got my attention the most and the one which I wish to win.
I think the chypre and creamy notes makes this amazing, I hope I win this one because I think it would add something amazing to my collection.

  • Thanks for the review Karl!

To me, Azman and Rogue are the best Independent perfumers. Every single release is testament to this fact.

In The Darkness was a great recommendation by Lauryn and whilst I normally do not go for leathery scents, Majnoon did not disappoint either and I look forward to purchasing a full bottle this time.

Killer Vavoom is the fragrance I am currently most interested in. I try to keep a variety in my collection and because I had plenty of Iris fragrances to wear I didn’t feel the need to try it. However! I have run out and the gap that has appeared needs to filled with another beautiful Iris fragrance! What particularly interests me is the Chypre style you described, which I can’t really grasp and feel I need to try to experience!

    Greetings from the UK.

I love “The 3 You Should Be Wearing” feature. I am always amazed at how the reviewers on this site can so succinctly capture the essences of the fragrances and describe them so that I want to experience them all. Karl has such a way with words. He especially drew me to Killer Vavoom. I love the name and I love the way Karl described the sensual experience of chocolate, plum, and osmanthus.

I was delighted to see a review and giveaway of three Azman fragrances. I have been captivated by the creativity they represent as well as their presentation from the very first moment I heard about the house here at CaFleureBon. I have been dreaming of trying Killer Vavoom ever since. Kudos to Husen Baba for choosing the most talented perfumers and leading Azman in the direction of craftsmanship loaded with mystery. Karl has done a great job choosing the three fragrances as his recommendations. I will go after the mind blower – Killer Vavoom is what I’d love to smell of. Thank you from the EU

I really want to try Azman Perfumes because everyone on internt is craving about the brand and here in Italy they seems quite difficult to find but I like to explore unique niche brand hard to find. I find that all the choicest fron Karl are describe as unique and seems like statement fragrances which are rhe fragrances I like at the end: unique. I think my favorite would be killer vavoom since I like chocolate and powdery notes. Greetings from Italy, Milan

  • It seems that Husen Khan (Baba) is building a great collection from Dubai: High-end ingredients (with a soft spor for real oud) with French flair and mixing Arabian and European perfume with great indie perfumers: Canali, Matos, Lomros. Only this is a great reason to try his perfumes: all of them . Trying to do a classical combination like rose and oud in a new way is a success like in After The Kiss: spicy turkish rose with floral laotian oud with beautiful cardamome as moderator with a dark leather end: Great work. Matos does a creamy gourmand chypre in a sensual and rich way with my beloved osmanthus and Majnoon is a double oud scent with the best coffee scent ever made. For the draw I choose Two Minutes After the Kiss. I live in Spain, EU.

I’ve been interested in this brand for a while and I frequently peruse their offerings on Lucky Scent.
I’m particularly interested in Two Minutes After The Kiss and Killer Vavoom, because they sound like such interesting takes on familiar scents.

With Two Minutes After The Kiss, the fragrance sounds like a beautiful take on the rose/oud genre, with the addition of labadanum, frankinscense and the dark leather.

Killer Vavoom is the more appealing of the two, especially because of the use of Osmanthus and Iris in conjunction with all the other elements in a chypre style.

    Cheers from WI, USA

i wish to try the house because it seems that it has a great selection of unique fragrances. All the fragrances that were mentioned seem very intruiging it terms of name and fragrance notes. The one i would love to have,if i win is Killer Vavoom.
The description of the fragrances was incredible.

  • I love Azman’s approach of utilizing really talented and unique perfumers for each of their different scents! All three of these perfumes that Karl wrote about sound so dark, complex, and unique, but Two Minutes After the Kiss catches my attention the most with its beeswax note. Two Minutes After the Kiss is the one I would choose if I am lucky enough to win! I’m in MN, USA.

Every time I’ve come across Azman Perfumes, everyone always mentions their top mastery and quality. Of course this piques my interest, specifically Killer Vavoom. Karl’s description sounds like this fragrance really takes you on a journey, and I want in! Killer Vavoom is definitely the one I’d love to win. Cheers from the USA!

“Then came the summer of 2022, a chance meeting in the hallways of the MiMCo conference centre at Esxence (Milan) with Husen Baba”

    Who’s going to Esxence 2023?
Top notch review as usual , I really enjoyed reading Karl Topham thoughts , and I have to say I fully,…well at least almost agree with him.
If I had to do my own “3 Azman fragrances You Should Be Wearing” list , I would’ve swap Two Minutes After The Kiss , with Where We Used to Live. My favorite Azman fragrances are:
    1. Majnoon
    2. Killer Vavoom
    3. Where We Used to Live
    Now one by one
Two Minutes After The Kiss , I agree with Karl about the scent profile, but personally I barely get any sweetness, and the leather turns a bit animalic on my skin.
Killer Vavoom is indeed forbidden, and daring. I don’t get jasmine at all, but I do get both the peachy and leathery aspects of the saffron.
Majnoon shows Prin Lomros, perception of a “coffee fragrance” . He has a core DNA in all his coffee fragrances, if you’re experienced with his work you know, and I know well , in my possession are not all , but most coffee fragrances he made , Burning Ben , Roasted Coffee Cigarette Whisky Come And Get Your Suede Honey Baby, SM Café and Caffeine Honey , all by his own Strangers Parfumerie.
Majnoon is better than all I’ve mentioned, but again Prin Lomros coffee DNA is there , based on coffee, tobacco, leather, patchouli, amber and hay , on top of spices and boozy feel.
Being a coffee fanatic, and a fan of Prin Lomros work , i have to say Majnoon is the fragrance i’d like to win
    All profiles I already follow , @waltherp99bg
    Thanks a lot

Azman is a perfume house I have been meaning to get into, so I am very grateful for this opportunity. Many Azman perfumes featured on the “Best Of 2022” written by various Cafleurebon editors, so my interest is definitely warranted. “Pour me a glass of Merlot, light me a cigar and be done with it […]” This little sentance to start the Majnoon review piqued my interest. That is definitely the one that I would like to win.

    I live in Sweden, EU.

  • AZMAN is a special brand , already famous in the fragrance community, and I believe will make a lot more noise in the upcoming years. I have smelled Majnoon and Killer Vavoom , Two Minutes After The Kiss i don’t know.
☆ Karl take on Two Minutes After The Kiss make me think of making Persian Love Cake, and later on eating it while sitting on a leather couch.
☆ Killer Vavoom is unique , sweet and leathery i agree , and it actually kind of reminds me of the cake I’m Chocolate Ganache Cake, with Macerated Plums , and sone suede leather.
☆ Majnoon smells like Zwetschgendatschi , the famous German Plum Cake, with a big cup of 100% Arabica made espresso , and some incense. I don’t think the fragrance is animalic , but Karl senses something I don’t.
I’ll be happy to win Majnoon
Appreciate Karl hard work, and the giveaway campaign

I was lucky enough to try Two minutes after a kiss and I can’t stop thinking about it… It is also the one I would wish to win because the scent memory lingers in my mind of slightly fresh rose, maybe even slightly metallic in a mix with leathery oud… And Karl’s description makes me think I need to smell it more and explore it in depth, to identify all facets it has. These three fragrances are a perfect example of different, yet uniquely hypnotizing fragrances Azman has in their range. Not to try them would be a loss.
Keeping my fingers crossed in Austria.

  • Unforgettable review i have to say , thank you Karl
All 3 fragrances Two Minutes After The Kiss, Killer Vavoom and Majnoon are trailblazing in their own right , all feel like perfumes I’d never forget
Two Minutes After The Kiss sounds like a fairy tale , with lush rose , leather and reasonable amount of sweetness.
In Killer Vavoom I like the gourmand and lustful contrasts between the leather and the chocolate. Pure seduction in a bottle
In Majnoon I like how sophisticated, and inviting at it smells. The mixture of Arabica coffee, incense, tea and slight fruityness is like a music to my ears. I also like the warm – dark , and tranquil-lustful contrasts, and how even Karl Topham was surprised by the smell.
If lucky I’d like to win Majnoon
    Thanks for the draw

I’d like to win “Majnoon” because, out of the three fragrances, it has the best notes listing in my opinion. Karl’s review of it made it very intriguing to me, e.g. when he describes it as “a harmony of boozy reddish fruits, smoky and leathery tones, and a swirl of ouds” and I like when he mentions the “sweeter gourmand aspects of nutmeg, cinnamon, coffee absolute and tonka”. I live in the U.S.A.

  • Great review by Karl. All three I wish to try Azman Perfumes because of the daringness and boldness to standout among peers. The fragrance that peak my interest the most is Azman Perfumes Majnoon. I really desire to have a special Ultimate Gourmand Coffee Pomegranate Oud fragrance in my life. Thank you for the giveaway. I live in CA, USA.

I’ve heard so many great things about Azman Perfumes on Cafleurebon and Social Media. Karls top 3 from Azman Perfumes to be getting the most attention Two Minutes After The Kiss, Killer Vavoom and Majnoon. Husen Baba founder and owner has came together with some brilliant perfumers to create some amazing fragrances. If I win I would choose Killer Vavoom. It sounds like a winner with the plum, chocolate, and powdery floral elements. I am from the USA.

  • Karl took us all to a distinct and festive journey today , with his 3 vivid reviews
It wasn’t easy, but I sampled all current Azman fragrances, and all the attention is justified, no wonder i had to wait for weeks to get the sample set, it was out of stock for a long time.
Something in Two Minutes After The Kiss smells like liquorice in the drydown . On skin In the opening the scent is exactly like Karl described it, in the drydown it’s mostly liquorice, leather and rose
Killer Vavoom , the florals are not so noticeable,
the prunes and chocolate are so beautiful, the iris too. It’s interesting how in the New Year’s Best article such fragrance expert like Michelyn never said anything about the strong boozy feel i get from Killer Vavoom , I guess Karl agrees with me.
When I’m thinking about Majnoon , i’m thinking about the iconic Irish coffee cocktail. It’s actually quite simple, choose a great Irish whiskey , The Sexton Single Malt for example , made and use thick and strong hot espresso, preferably from 100% Arabica , sweeten it with organic brown sugar , and topped with cream . One of the best cocktails of all time , and just like Azman Majnoon , perfect for a chilly evening , both absolute delights
The same energy is coming from Majnoon, Karl review and my favorite Irish Coffee cocktail.
    Majnoon I’d love to win
I’ll treat myself now with 2016 Domaine Lecheneaut Les Pruliers , lovely Pinot Noir I highly recommend to all wine cognoseurs , and even wine noobs.
Cheers , and thank you for the opportunity

    Greetings everyone
Azman fragrances are one of the best new discoveries i made last year . With the mass amount of artificial , one dimensional fragrances on the market, Azman perfumer do shine like diamonds with quality , and 3D like complexity . I’m tired of flat fragrances, and I find the brand really impressive.
Two Minutes After The Kiss is sweeter to Mr Topham, to my nose is more spicy
Killer Vavoom (Miguel Matos) is deep and rich floral chocolate , leather , with tenacious performance
Majnoon is mostly coffee, incense, leather and rum
    Majnoon I’d enjoy the most

I need to visit Esxence one day , I just have to
Husen Khan lived in different parts of the world, and its multicultural background gave him a different perspective towards fragrances, and life. All AZMAN fragrances are complex , different and exquisite.
I’m thinking about Cordoba , when I think about AZMAN
Two Minutes After the Kiss i can wear going on a date with a special lady
Killer Vavoom is musky and leathery, with honey , decadent chocolate and plum , perfume for grown-ups
The boozy coffee , tobacco and vanilla fragrance called Majnoon I’m interested the most.
I spent a few years of my life living in Spain, and right now I’m thinking about The Spanish Coffee , known as “Carajillo” in Spain, perhaps for coraje, “courage,” or que ara guillo.I like mine with small amounts of caramelize sugar , and a piece of cinnamon stick .
I’ll be happy to win Majnoon

Wonderful review Karl! i wish to try Azman Perfumes because of all the amazingly talented perfumers that are behind the scents and all the fragrance writers that have praised them! The fragrance piques my interest the most is Majnoon because i love almost everything by Prin Lomros I’ve tried.

what intrigues me about Karl’s three reviews how he describes Killer Vavoom as having a chypre construction and yet lip-smacking gourmand and creamy elements. While there are many fruity chypres fruity gourmands and boozy gourmands out there and even floral gourmands on occasion I have seen very few chypre gourmand combinations. that is a category of fragrance new to me that I am very eager to explore!

If I were to win I would like to win Majnoon the most although I would be happy with any of the 3. I live in the US.
