Artistic Fragrances Advent Calendar 2021

With Christmas just around the corner, if you are still looking for a jaw-dropping present for a fellow perfumista friend or, why not, a scented treasure chest for yourself – look no further!

Santa Claus is working overtime  and has cooler gifts than ever, all packed up and ready to be uncovered every day in the Artistic Fragrances Advent Calendar, which is the best way to discover the fragrant portfolio of Masque Milano, Milano Fragranze, and Malbrum. They have united, under the mission to become the Ambassadors of Italian artistic perfumery in the world, and have launched the portal www.artisticfragrances.com.

It all began during the lockdown, when, Alessandro Brun (creative director of Masque Milano and  Milano Fragranze, luxury marketing and quality management professor) reimagined the way to launch a fragrance, and found the perfect solution to deliver both the information and the excitement of the experience in the comfort of your own home.  We were lucky to be invited to the launch of Ray-Flection, Madeleine and  Lost Alice, held in the gloomiest times of the lockdown, events that delivered a much-needed breath of hope, connection, and joy. Zoom meetings reuniting over a hundred people, from all over the world, smelling together perfumes and the raw materials, with live question and answer sessions with the creators, brought interactivity to a new level and, in my opinion, set a new golden standard for perfume launches everywhere.

Artistic Fragrances Advent Calendar 2021 Masque Milano, Malbrum and Milano Fragranze

The Artistic Fragrances Advent calendar contains 75 plus vials of  fragrances, precious raw materials, accords, SURPRISES, special treats and the chance to study, discover, and smell them up-close-and-personal, being guided, every day, with live Instagram interventions from the three artistic directors (Alessandro Brun, Riccardo Tedeschi, and Kristian Hilberg of Malbrum) and several noses (look for the live recordings with Luca Maffei,  Dominique Moellhausen and Delphine Thierry  – with many others to join in the following days).

If you are interested in cryptocurrencies and the emerging world of non-fungible tokens, this will make your heart pound: this is the launch of the first NFT in the niche perfumery market. The Artistic Fragrances calendar is associated with 40 unique digital artworks, and special additional digital content will be unlocked just for the owners (see the artworks made by a Kazakh artist who used advanced computer techniques to create the rendering of diamond, here, on OpenSea).

  • To resume 10 years of work, and three brands, in one advent calendar is an amazing gift. Even more when it gives the possibility to discovers them, and to educated about raw materials and how they work. Thank you so much for this generous opportunity. I am sure that whoever will be able to open theses surprises box, will be deeply grateful. From EU

  • This is hands down the coolest advent calendar I’ve seen yet and would love to win! I loved watching Steven and Alessandro try them on camera especially when they were comparing the raw ingredient versus the blended finished scent. I need to get my nose on that patchouli! I would be especially excited for the educational aspect that goes along with this calendar. It’s unlike anything I’ve ever seen offered. I hope I win and thank you to everyone involved for the opportunity!

  • This is such an amazing idea to do/try for a whole month to experience these fragrances from these collaboration of houses and the breakdown and experience of each one hopefully next year/time will be just as great thanks an keep up the great work

Artistic Fragrances Advent Calendar, which is the best way to discover the fragrant portfolio of Masque Milano, Milano Fragranze, and Malbrum is exciting . Looking forward to try this and one thing what is exciting is the application/introduction of NFT and cryptocurrencies into the fragrance world. Good luck.

  • Excellent interview by Steven. I enjoy listening to Alessandro who always has beautiful stories behind his creations.

Milan is definitely a city that is on my bucket list to visit. From the Leather in the leather goods stores to the Incense in the churches. I want to experience and see all the iconic locations Alessandro has talked about.

A great alternative to that would be this advent calendar with a whopping 75 presents! I don’t think I’ve ever seen a box this full with fragrance!

I am quite new to the world of NFT and don’t really know what it’s all about, but it’s great to learn more when it’s related to your favorite hobby!

    Greetings from the UK!

  • This is such an awesome idea! Like the previous comments, it’s a great opportunity to discover numerous fragrances all in one advent calendar 🙂
It’s fun, innovative, and keeps you motivated to unravel what the next day has to offer!
I’ve tried one or two from the brand and highly enjoyed them and this is a great way to experience more from them!
    Cheers from the USA

  • Wow this is such a cool concept and what a wonderful way to try out so many perfumes and learn about them. Especially in these times when counterfeits are so common, the idea of NFTs in perfumery is an interesting one. Ten years of work condensed in an advent calendar – amazing interview by Steven as usual, and article by Nicoleta. I am of course a Redolessence subscriber and enjoy the in-depth interviews and reviews Steven posts through Redolessence. I haven’t tried this brand, yet, but it’s definitely on my radar as they seem to be so passionate about quality. Thanks for the article, video, and a very generous draw. Writing from the USA.

  • I was very excited when I first heard about this advent calendar. I think this really is a great idea, but I didn’t expect anything less from Alessandro. I adore Masque Milano fragrances and I really need to try all f the Milano Fragranza and Malbrum fragrances. An interesting thing I learned from this article and interview is that there are 40 digital artworks associated with the calendar. This is really cool. I’m from Illinois, US.

  • Wow!!! ❤️ Steven! What a fantastic interview! I agree, Naviglio is fantastic! The Artistic Fragrances Advent Calendar sounds amazing! While I am familiar with (and adore)
Masque Milano and Milano Fragranze, I have yet to discover Malbrum. This is a wonderful opportunity to experience the over-arching house style and be able to compare and contrast brand interpretations. How fun! My favorite part is (of course) the educational raw materials! ❤️ Someone is going to be extremely lucky to win this great prize! Alessandro is always on the cutting edge! I admire how his work respects history while also being incredibly forward-thinking. NFTs in niche perfumery! ❤️

  • The company and it’s fragrances are to me and I look forward to experiencing some scents in the near future. The article was very informative and introduced me what could new additions to my fragrance collection.

  • Jarrid Steele says:

I love Steven’s enthusiasm and passion for fragrance. My favorite part the video is Alessandro Brun’s Italian accent. I would love the opportunity to get the advent calendar. No way I can afford to buy one so winning is my only option. Please enter me into the giveaway. I’m living in Montreal, Canada right now but I do have a mailing address in the USA! Thank you!

  • Ruben Alviar says:

Hello, what I really enjoyed about the article is finding out how fragrance is blending with art and finances in a way most could of never imagined. Also I commented on the last article with a full bottle give away from Steven yet I never saw my comment registered

  • Sorohan Adriana says:

I love the idea of Advent Calendar, discovering every house every day makes me feel happy as a child.
I am from EU Bucharest Romania Europe

  • Thank you Nicoleta for the intro to this amazing idea and to Steven’s interview with Alessandro Brun. Steven’s reaction to smelling Safariyah for the first time during the live interview was priceless :). I’m in USA and this has to be one of the most exciting giveaways yet. Thank you for making it happen.

  • Now this is cool .. love the idea behind it. Very interesting to see!! Love learning about new notes everyday so this is perfect for this time of year. Ten years of work in this master piece Advent calendar, that’s really freaking cool IMO!! Love the article & review by Steven.. thanks for introducing us!! USA

Thanks Cafleurebon for this special draw good luck everyone!!!

  • This is such a wonderful idea! I think this is the ultimate fragrance gift that I would love to receive! I wanted to be a perfumer so the individual notes on here is a great great help to familiarize and be knowledgeable. Discover and learn, wow such a great package I cant get it off my head. But as a student, the price of this box is too high. Hoping they will continue to do this yearly so I can buy when I started working.
    Happy Holidays to all!

  • I remember once given this suggestion to a Fragrance lover. Now it happened how exciting is that. Steven said it’s the first time ever hearing of a fragrance advent calendar. What fun it must be each day to open a door and reveal a Fragrance. Brilliant idea. I would love a chance to win this thank you. USA

  • Steve’s interview was enjoyable, casual, and very informative. It was interesting learning about all 3 houses that are also incorporated into the advent calendar. I thoroughly enjoyed both the interview and this article providing some additional information about the calendar. I live in the US. Thank you 🙂

  • What a great idea! This Artistic Fragrances Advent Calendar looks and sounds awesome! Steven is always so great! Love watching his videos! This is such a great way to experience the all the different scents! Thank you very much Nicoleta for the article. UK

  • I enjoyed the amazing details in this article. In Steven’s review I enjoyed the professionalism of his videos. I really can’t stop watching his channel. I live in Poland, EU.

  • I love the work of Luca Maffei and I think he is a rising talent in this industry, therefore this advent calendar would make a nice discovery set, not only for Luca Maffei’s creations, but for others as well.
    Thank you. Europe!

  • I love the idea of fragrance advent calendar in the firstbplace, but when I heard that each fragrance was accompained by two or threevraw material notes, I was blown away. And ll that from one of my favourite houses – Masque Milano.
    I’m in E U

  • This looks interesting enough. I like that it comes with raw materials as well, so you can experience first hand some of the notes that are always present in a fragrance.
    Thank you for the draw!

  • I know some perfumes from Masque Milano and this is a great chance to get to try the others from the lines of Malbrum and Milano Fragranze. I also enjoy this concept of fragrances in advent calendar and let’s hope we get to see this more often with other houses as well in the future. It would be the perfect gift for a fragrance lover!
Many thanks for the interview and for the giveaway!

  • marcopietro says:

What a wonderful gift! The packaging is simply fabulous and the content will certainly live up to expectations. Three brands that best represent niche perfumery with charme and high quality.
    Thanks from EU.

  • Nice interview. Introducing NFT into fragrance world is a great idea. Nowadays we buy perfumes and keep it as a collection to use in different occasions only.

  • I love so much this Advent Calendar and would be the perfect gift for me, cause I love discovering fragrances trough samples. Also, Steven really knows how to handle an interview, and of course, the guest is such a quality person that is amazing to hear and learn from him. I am in the U.S.

  • Brian Braverman says:

Enjoyed the idea that during the gloomiest of times, individuals did have the time and opportunity to stimulate their creative juices and reimagine their artistic talents by developing such beautiful fragrances. Steve’s video reinforced the idea that time, art, and fragrance are the key elements in creating a wonderful olfactory product and experience.

  • Amanda32828 says:

What’s not to love about this advent calendar? I have no doubt that this special gift is for me. I’ll love to try any of the fragrances from Masque Milano, Milano Fragranze, and Malbrum. Sadly for me I haven’t been able to try anything from these brands yet but I know I’ll soon.
Thank you for the opportunity to participate in the draw. Commenting from Orlando, Fl. USA.

  • From the interview, it seemed clear that a better understanding of the ingredients helps us understand and appreciate the final compositions more. This is quite an interesting draw and appeals to our intellectual side. I am in US.

  • Mihaela Paun says:

Christmas is magical. Jesus our Lord is all that mankind needs. The Advent calendar is a story of this wonderful birth. Wonderful holidays!
    Best wishes from Bucharest, Romania!

  • The notion of getting not only the fragrances themselves but also the raw materials as a means of understanding how they’re put together is just fantastic. I imagine that while the notion of doing them as an advent calendar is fun, the ability to pull a box, go and watch the content for that day and learn, just takes it a whole new level. And to imagine there are only 100 of these, what a special gift indeed! Having Alessandro describe the whole creative process behind the idea was fascinating. Also, it’s good to have the links in Stephen’s YouTube post.

    In the US.

  • I am intrigued and frustrated by this concept and amalgamation of these houses fascinated by the raw materials and the finished product. I would love to win if I am lucky. Thanks a million from the United Kingdom

  • An amazing idea really interesting to see how raw materials smell as apposed to the finished product. Great interview with Allesandro and I do love Luca maffei in particular. Thanks a lot for the giveaway I am from the United Kingdom

  • LINDA D'AMBROSIO says:

Oh my gosh, that is just incredible !!!!
This is too good to be real,
The very thought of receiving such a precious gift excites me
IT’S LIKE RETURNING CHILDREN AND WAITING FOR SANTA CLAUS.

  • Great article, I always wondered what it’s like to open up an advent calendar full of fragrances, this sounds great! I loved the interview, only thing I didn’t love was the length, I wish it was longer! Loved Steven’s enthusiasm as always and I thought Alessandro was a great person to interview – very knowledgeable and interesting! I live in Croatia, EU.

  • joshuabrian says:

Really cool idea! I really enjoyed the sample of Masque Milano that I got in my Scentxplore bag. This is a great idea and an awesome gift for fragrance lovers! As always, I love Steven’s passion. Thanks for the draw. From Indianapolis.

  • Bravo! What a fabulous holiday gift! A great way to explore the fragrances and experience the fragrant portfolio of Masque Milano, Milano Fragranze, and Malbrum. I love the concept of Advent Calendar which gives you a daily opportunity to discover 75 plus vials of fragrances, quality raw materials, and accords. Each day you can wear something different and learn something about it through Live Instagram from three artistic directors Alessandro Brun, Riccardo Tedeschi, and Kristian Hilberg of Malbrum. What a special way to learn about each creation and be educated about what you wear. Talking about taking fragrance education platform to the next level! I am new to NFT and crypto currency so it is interesting to see the digital artworks in the first launch of the NFT in the niche perfumery market. Steven, thank you for this informative interview with Alessandro Brun and a generous offer for a chance to win this amazing collection. You are my go-to source for perfume reviews and recommendation. Keep up the great work!

  • John George says:

What a great idea this is! Steven’s interview was great for meeting the minds behind it and Nicoleta’s article adds a little more context which is always appreciated.

    Keep it up folks!

  • I appreciated learning in the article about what Alessandro’s inspiration was for this new way of marketing. To introduce the fragrance and the information regarding it to the consumer is exactly what was needed in our increasingly digital world.

The advent calendar is beautiful. What a lovely gift it to receive! Thank you so much for introducing us to Alessandro Brun. I love the idea of educating the customers on the notes of fragrances as well. This makes me want to support these brands. Steven’s excitement just shows how unique this calendar is because I’m sure he’s seen A LOT of fragrance products over the years.

Thank you for this exciting giveaway and interview. It was so fun! I’m in the USA.

  • What what what?
Even after reading and hearing everything, it is hard to believe.
    This is amazing!
I have to admit, I do not understand NFTs at all, though. If I win I will find out more!
    I am in the US.

  • I do love advent calendars. An olfactory discovery a day is a great way to celebrate the upcoming season. I liked Steven’s interview with Alessandro Brun. It’s always good to see the real time reaction to trying on a new scent. I’ve tried Tango and Russian Tea from Masque Milano and would love to discover some new fragrances from this and other noses. I’m in MD, USA.

  • Jennifer Levering says:

There are other fragrance advent calendars (and I have more than my share!) but to include not only completed fragrances, but also ingredients is truly next level. What a wonderful way to scent our way through the countdown to Christmas and beyond! I can’t wait to see what this family of brands does every year now.

  • Christopher Dorsett says:

If there was a book of fragrance to learn from this will be it. I would love to I would love to own this and learn from all the raw materials inside. I enjoyed the whole video and reading about the perfumers that work on it. A 10-year job well done for a month of beauty.

  • Robert S. Kerr says:

In this article I was excited to better understand the various parts that make up this fragrance calendar. No less than 75 precious vials with individual notes to learn about, and 40 unique digital works of art to name some of the details. So much love an effort! I also enjoyed how Alessandro Brun described the fragrance Brera being named after a very artistic/ romantic neighborhood in Milan. And that it had some of my favorite notes such as rose, patchouli, vanilla and saffron. It sounds divine.

  • I can’t believe I’ve never made myself a fragrance advent calender! What a wonderful idea. I won the Ray-Flection sample giveaway and was blown away by it and the bonus samples. Especially Madeleine. Like a luxurious coffee shop. Exploring Alessandro’s other creations, the accords and the raw materials sounds like an amazing journey. And the innovative use of crypto. What a fun set and big congratulations to whoever is lucky enough to experience this.
    I live in Denmark, EU.

  • What an incredible way to experience the finished fragrances! The intro provided great background too. I enjoy learning more about the things I love so this gorgeous calendar is right up my alley. It was clearly an act of love for Brun to put this together. Steven’s reticence to open his up was so relatable, but then it was fun to watch them play with the calendar. I am coveting this! Thanks as always for sharing the interview and for the amazing draw. In USA

  • Derek Bedinghaus says:

This is what the fragrance community needed! An excellent way to get your season started and finding which ones your gonna get for the holidays. Special little perks like the raw ingredients are awesome for those looking more into for artistic side of perfumery & also being guided by IG interventions by the artistic directors…. perfect! Alessandro has great stories and Steven always has great questions & banter.

  • What an amazing opportunity! I could listen to Mr. Brun all day talk about anything and never tire; he and Mr. Gavrielatos seemed to enjoy their discussion. This advent calendar is one I am familiar with and have purchased from other companies before but a fragrance calendar would be fabulous. Adding in the vials of raw materials is very clever! I am in the US.

  • Wow what an awesome idea! I loved advent calendars as a kid and this is a really fun way to learn about these brands. I love how some of the single notes are included as this would be an amazing opportunity to train the nose. Steven and Allesandro’s conversation was really illuminating . I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to wrap my Gen X brain around the NFT concept but it sounds pretty cool. 😀 Whoever wins this treasure is lucky and sure to have a great month. Happy Holidays from Brooklyn, NY.

  • wandering_nose says:

What an astonishing idea! I am left speechless, in the best way possible. Such a creative, innovative and thoughtful concept. Being able to smell samples of exquisite niche perfumes, raw materials, accords, components and learn more about them from the noses is nothing short of incredible. I need to say an advent calendar needs to be truly special to get my attention and the Artistic Fragrances Advent Calendar managed to do that in seconds! Capturing the culture and concept of artistic perfumery could not be done in a more friendly and enticing way, while being highly educational at the same time. I am hooked. Steven’s interview wit Alessandro Brun is extremely informative and insightful. I have not smelled any creations by Delphine Thierry but I feel compelled to do that asap. Her mature and artistic take on a fruity fragrance (day 6 – Safariyah from Malbrum) has piqued my interest. Compressing 10 years of artistic work in one month and in such an appealing format is truly admirable. I would love to win! Thank you from the Republic of Ireland, EU

  • I think that the most enjoyable thing about this article is the fact that it’s really information packed. I love that there are names of people that do know a lot about perfumes. I’ve always wanted to learn about the fragrance art, but it’s just so hard to find informative sources that won’t make a really big dent in your pocket. I appreciate all the information I can get from experienced people, and maybe in the future I hope that I will be able to join the group of experts. The part that I liked the most about the video was the presentation of how the calendar works, it’s so inspiring to hear about artistic perfumery and experiencing individual notes. I must say that I’ve never had a chance to explore the accords or any raw materials by themselves. It really boosts my curiosity and imagination when it comes to fragrances. All in all, I’ve enjoyed the whole video from start to finish, I just really can’t get enough of the fragrance talk!

  • I absolutely love all the fragrances I have tried from this house so I was quick to click on this post and wow! This is awesome. What I liked about this article is that all three of them received a advent calendar. What a amazing surprise! Also I liked the explanation of how and when this idea came about in the gloom of lockdown. It surely has my heart pounding. Steven as usual was professional and aced the interview in my opinion. The fragrances themselves but also the raw materials used in the fragrances is such a great idea for a fragrance lovers advent calender. I would be so excited to give this to a fragrance lover as a gift because there is nothing else like it. Very innovative and unique. Also advent calendars are fun as it is but, being able to go and watch the video for that day and learn makes it perfect for us curious fragrance lovers. I loved Alessandro describing the process behind the idea. It seems he put alot of heart and thought into this. I would be thrilled to receive this. Happy Holidays to all.

I’m in the USA, North Carolina

  • ryan solomon says:

This seems like an inspiring fragrance that reminds me of many great memories, I can’t wait to finally get a smell of it. I really enjoyed Steven and Alessandro have a quality interaction about this classic scent. Much love. I hope I win so I can share the scent with everyone I know.

  • I have just recently gotten into fragrance, and am still learning. This advent calendar seems like it would be fabulous for people like me who are trying to educate our noses. I would love to be able to smell the raw materials and basic accords and compare them to finished fragrances!

  • A great idea. The interview is very interesting as it gives us news about the latest creations of Masque Milano.
    I live in Romania, EU.

  • Wow, this is the best advent calendar ever… really nice concept that the people of Artistic Fragrances were thinking from summer! I really enjoyed the chat between Steven and Sig. Brun ! So interesting they put in the calendar some of the notes, as raw materials, used in the fragrances like neroli, milk accord, patchouli … I have tried Masque and Milano fragrance (love the Breda they talk in the video with saffron, rose and patchouli), but It is a nice opportunity to try the Malbrum ones and the amazing job of Ms. Thierry! Thanks for the draw, I am from Spain, EU

  • Isabel Cristina Salinas says:

Hi. I think Mr. Brun is a very resourceful man, his idea to launch new frags during the lockdown is very clever. And now the advent calendar…. Chapeau!!!

  • I have loved Advent calendars ever since I was a small child counting down the days till Christmas with my grandmother. The idea that each day would hold a surprise fragrance is amazing! I love the whole idea of this and I love how excited Steven gets talking about something that he has a real passion for and watching him compare fragrances and ingredients was not only fun but educational.

  • Love the whole story behind this beautiful idea, can’t even imagine what’s inside and how they decided what to put into this work of art!

  • I always love to hear what Steven has to say. I think he is the most well-rounded fragrance reviewer/personality in the game. He reminds me of a legendary sportscaster when he is calling a game. I love that this article encompasses a trend that I am seeing more and more of in the world of perfumery; fragrances transcending being JUST fragrances. Or, I should say, the growth of the entire fragrance culture. The fact that fragrance advent calendars and now NFTs (what?!) are even a thing is mind-blowing. I’ve never considered myself an artistic individual, really, but the way that the fragrance world is ever-evolving is impressive. Would love the opportunity to experience this gem and thanks so much for the opportunity. Cheers from Illinois guys!

  • I really liked learning about the different houses and their desire to showcase them under one roof with the advent calendar. I’d love to win this. In maryland.

  • I disagree with Alessandro Brun in regards to what is the best fragrance from Milano Fragranze. He said that “Brera” is the best one, but “Basilica” is the best one. I own, and have been using from, their discovery set, and from the start, “Basilica” has been my favorite one to the extent that recently I bought a full bottle of it: I feel that it’s one of my favorite fragrances now (and it’s also Milano Fragranze’s longest lasting release). It was interesting to hear what Mr. Brun had to say about these three companies. I’m not familiar with advent calendars. I would love to win this prize: it would be a good way for me to become familiar with other fragrances which Mr. Brun was a part of creatively directing. I live in MD., U.S.A. Thanks for the giveaway opportunity.

  • The review and the interview are both great. I like how the calendar is described here. In adition the interview isbvery interesting and helps to Discovery lot of new things about the Brand. It is a very good resume of the world of the lady ten years and a great way to take advantage of the lockdown.

I am writing from Spain (Canary islands) in the EU.

  • Wow, this is the coolest Advent calendar ever, fantastic concept and full of surprises! Interesting, what did Luca Maffei prepare for this box… I am not a fan of cryptocurrencies and NFT artworks, but I will check out that part, too.
Thank you for this chance, I live in the EU and, of course, I am suscribed to Redolessence.

  • What a delight this Advent Calendar will be to whoever wins it! I am familiar with several releases by Masque Milano thanks to Cafleurebon (Times Square and Tango are two standouts to my nose) but have yet to venture into the offerings of Malbrum and Milano Fragranze. Steven’s hesitancy to open the box due to its beauty gave me such a chuckle. My father is a huge collector of music collectibles (limited edition records, posters, etc.) and he almost never opens the things he buys, since they will immediately lose their value. To me, if I buy or win something, I want to use and enjoy it! I am a Redolessence subscriber precisely because of content like this and hope to win!

These kind of ambitious projects are just the shot in the arm the fragrance community needs. The way it has raw ingredients and accords targets every perfume lovers heart, I wonder what the surprises will turn out to be.

    Happiest, best-smelling holidays to everyone!

  • I enjoyed learning about the concept behind the advent calendar and the NFTs which I had never heard of. I think its a great idea and sounds like a really interesting experience to be able to smell some of the main raw materials and accords that make up a fragrance separately as well to really understand what they smell like and train the nose. Thanks for the generous draw, from CT USA.

  • Michael Prince says:

I really enjoyed this article and Steven’s interview with Alessandro Brun learning about this very unique and brilliant gift idea from Alessandro Brun for the Artistic Fragrances Advent Calendar which includes Masque Milano,  Milano Fragranze, and Malbrum and contains 75 plus vials of  fragrances, and precious raw materials to explore. Who would love this as a holiday gift. I am from the USA.

  • I wanted to order the box with the raw materials for a good moment already. This calendar would be a nice gift for almost Christmas 😉 I’m from France, EU

  • This is a genius product!!! So much better than chocolate calendar, I’m in love of it. I’m also so surprised and excited that it comes with digital artwork, wow and big thanks to Alessandro Brun for coming up with this idea, I hope more brands come to collaboration and introduce this. Truly magical gift, great why to discover new things and learn about notes it’s amazing that they included raw materials! I loved it how Alessandro explains the idea about it. Please create more set or calenders like this! From EU

  • How did I live for years in Milan and never discover Albergo Diurno in Piazza Oberdan? I did attend La Scala many times, and other places these perfumes tell stories about. And I lived in the Navigli area, my subway stop was Romolo. So fun to walk through these memories with each perfume!

Now we mostly live in Canada, but keep a home in Italy, we haven’t been able to go for 2 years due to covid, maybe in 2022? I miss Milan at Christmas. I have a special request: Perhaps Alessandro could make a perfume based on the Marron Glacé and candied violets from Fratelli Galli??? XOXO

  • carlos_lager says:

What an amazing gift this is. I really enjoyed the talk between Steven and Allessandro. I have recently visited Milano and have smelled some of Masque Milanos Fragrances in one of their stores. Absolutely beautiful scents!
Thank you for the opportunity to win one of the advent calendars.
    Greetings from Austria (EU)

  • Claumarchini says:

I followed the launch of this amazing advent calendar, as I follow everything that Alessandro and Riccardo do! I even follow Alessandro’s lives on IG even if I don’t own the Calendar! Winning it would not make my day but a whole year! I love the concept, the idea of putting the raw materials to be able to study (my nose is not yet that trained, I’d looooove to do that!), the association with digital art and NFC… As we say in Italy, Alessandro is AVANTI, meaning ahead of his time! And of course I love their fragrances and am very proud since I live in Milan, like them! Thanks so much Michelyn for the article and Steven for the interview!!

  • Lovely article and interview! What I enjoyed about the article was learning that the advent calendar was inspired by the need to find a pandemic solution to delivering information and excitement for a new perfume launch in the comfort of one’s own home. What a lovely little silver lining! I adore advent calendars, particularly high end beauty and skincare ones, so I’m thrilled to see the FIRST perfume advent calendar. What I enjoyed about the interview is learning that the fragrances also come with accords so you can experience them separately, learn about them, and better see how they individually contribute to the overall fragrance and how they come together. What an awesome learning opportunity! I live in the US and am a Redolessence subscriber.
