Advice to your Younger Self (September -October 2021) Spilled Perfume +8 If I knew then Prizes

What advice would you give to your younger self

Imagine if you could travel back in time and give advice to your younger self.  What would you say to the younger “you”? Looking back at those early years, would you have been amazed at how your life turned out. How many of us really had a clear understanding of who we were and that there would be so many unexpected twists and turns; some would uplift us and some would break our hearts. Nothing is exactly what we planned for. To claim spilled perfume your task is to match the Editors and Contributors with the four words they would tell their younger self:

Sherri Sebastian, Contributing Editor: You are in control

Steven Gavrielatos, Video Journalist Contributor:  Don’t believe the naysayers

Rachel Watson, Guest Contributor: Perms are not stylish

Sandi Lundberg, Associate Contributor: Do what you must!

Ida Meister, Deputy Editor: Let your hair grow

Michael Devine, Contributor: Focus on the positive

Olya Bar, Contributor: Don’t date short men

Despina Veneti, Sr. Editor: Laugh more, stress less

Ermano Picco, Editor: Don’t miss the joy

Hernando Courtright, Senior Contributor, everything will work out

Lauryn Beer, Sr. Editor: Don’t waste precious time

Cynthia Hunter, Contributor:  Take all the chances

Emmanuelle Varron, Sr Contributor: Listen to your mom

Nicoleta Tomsa, Editor: Keep on learning Latin

Michelyn Camen, Editor-in-Chief: take a walk every day

If I (i.e. how I am now) could somehow give advice to myself (i.e. how I was decades ago), then I would say: Don’t use drugs, don’t smoke cigarettes, don’t commit adultery, take care of your nerves and blood circulation by getting plenty of rest, don’t burn fossil fuels in order to get from place to place, be cleanly, and much more.

If I win then I would choose: L’Artisan Parfumeur Obscuratio, Parfum d’Empire Immortelle Corse, Oud Seven by Matière Première, Laboratorrio Olfativio Bergamotto Cozumel, or Rogue Perfumery Bon Monsieur. I live in MD., U.S.A. Thanks for the giveaway opportunity.
