Molinard in Grasse
Molinard is one of the most storied Houses in all of French Perfumery. Its history dates from 1849, when a small shoppe opened in Grasse and quickly became a favorite among the wealthy and royalty. In the early 1900s, M. Adam Sittler, the founder and first generation of perfumers opened a factory and mansion continues to be a major tourist and historical attraction in the area. There you can see how the fragrances are created and step back into time and visit a museum of Molinard perfumes throughout history. Habanita, created in 1921 is an icon of French Fragrances.

Today Molinard is still creating wonderful and memorable perfumes. Célia Lerouge-Bénard is the fifth generation of perfumers and the first woman executive in the House’s History. –Michelyn Camen, Editor in Chief
At CaFleureBon we have a popular series, where our editors and contributors recommend indie, designer and niche perfumes: “The Three You should be wearing”. Editor Sebastian Jara reviews the three Molinard fragrances you should be wearing, each built around a key ingredient; Figue, with its juicy pulpy fruit is perfect for summer, Vanille, where the vanilla is sweet but not sticky and the earthy and chocolate tinged patchouli in Patchouli.
Disclosure: Sebastian requested his bottles of Figue, Vanille and Patchouli. His opinions are his own
