Xerjoff Accento Overdose Review (Christian Carbonnel) + Exotic Landscape Draw

Xerjoff ACCENTO Overdose review

Xerjoff Accento Overdose collage using photos from Sebastian and Xerjoff

There are fruity florals that are so generic, they gave the entire classification a bad name and there are fruity florals that stand out as ART. In fact they become finalists in the Art and Olfaction Awards 2020.

Xerjoff Accent Overdose Art and Olfaction2020 finalist

Exotic landscape by Henri Rousseau

That is the case with Xerjoff Accento Overdose, with one of the most beautiful jasmine notes I have smelt this year,  runs throughout the composition like an olfactive thread, weaving in and out of exotic fruit and tropical greenery as if it was painted by Rousseau.

“Xerjoff is all about NATURE and ITALIAN CRAFTMANSHIP. The intent of Xerjoff was to use the best of what the world and nature has provided us and combine this with what man can achieve. • Shamrock1313 says:

Sebastian’s reviews are always on point – Accento is a huge fragrance that announces your presence. Have to be very careful with the sprays.
I enjoy Xerjoff (Nio and Uden) are my favorites.
    Thanks for the giveaway

  • Sebastian’s review says Accento Overdose is a huge floral fruity composition with significant sillage. USA

  • Wow first of all how generous of Europerfumes to give us readers a chance at such a prize. I always enjoy sabastians reviews as he shows such a passion for fragrances. This one in particular looks so stunning with that great bottle. What a joy it must be to see that bottle sitting there every day. I was not surprised to see in Michelyns interview Sergio talk about craftsmanship as clearly Xerjoff is all craftsmanship. Who doesn’t love a fruity fragrance? Good luck to everyone and stay safe 🙂

  • Sebastian made this sound amazing and it’s on my want to buy list. Also I am a big fan of Henri Rousseau paintings so I liked Michelyn bringing that in
    Please pick me

  • Jake Dauod says:

For Sebastian’s review, I love how he stresses the potency of the fragrance. I have a small sample of the fragrance, and it is a gorgeous jasmine that truly packs a punch. I fully agree with his video review, and he does a great job of covering the different aspects of the fragrance. As for Michelyn’s introduction, I like that she stresses that this perfume takes the fruity floral in a different direction. This fragrance is of the highest quality and pushes the boundaries of what the note of jasmine can be in a fragrance. Kind regards from Illinois.

  • Niraj Tipre says:

The bottle and the presentation is really rich. I can’t wait to try it on me.

  • I have always wanted to try this perfume house and Accento Overdose sounds like the perfect introduction. I’ve been looking for a fruity fragrance, but one that is not juvenile.
I missed out on an opportunity to go to Italy a few years ago, but Michelyn’s intro sounds like I can get in a quick visit with each spray.
Thanks for the give away, from Maryland.

  • Sounds intriguing and not bad if it was a finalist for an award. Never tried this Xerjoff house but this sounds like a good one to try. Sebastians channel always makes me want to buy the fragrance he is reviewing. Wonderful channel and review. Love all his videos very nice and soothing during these times.

  • Michael Werno says:

Loved Sebastian’s detailed description of the fruity accords in this fragrance. Was really cool to find out where the name Xerjoff came from in Michelyn’a interview.

  • Brent McCoy says:

    Hello fragrance community,

I just got into watching fragrance videos.

  • David Christopher Thomas says:

As always, Sebastian brings us the best fragrances and the best info about fragrances in feneral.

  • Great scent, I like his passion for this hobby and how he talks about perfumes.

  • Sebastian is definitely the best & my favorite reviewer. Accento Overdose sounds amazing especially how strong & uplifting beachy it sounds. I have not yet smelled a Xerjoff fragrance but I have just blind bought Uden Overdose. Would love to hear Sebastian’s take on Uden overdose also.

  • I love the idea of a potent freshie! This one sounds long lasting according to Sebastian. I also like the idea of being crafted in true Italian form as described by Michelyn. Thank you for the opportunity!

  • I LOVE the fact he described it as beast mode fruits and Jasmine. I love fruity notes and floral notes also. I like that the perfumer is Chris carbonnel, who I know from his work with Navitus Parfums. Thank you for the chance of the giveaway and good luck to everyone

  • Sibyl Haynes says:

I am pretty sure when Sebastian loves something I will too. Only a couple times have I disagreed with him.. bc So that is what I b live about this review, I can tell he genuinely likes this frag. I am in Seattle.

  • Liked how Sebastian describes there being an ambery touch towards the drydown, and I’m intrigued by the stone fruits aspect. Like Michelyn’s introduction describing it as one of t\he best jasmine notes. Live in California!

  • Wilson Siavichay says:

In the way how Sebastian described is like a fruit cocktail, with a touch of woody note, another master piece from this house, and I will definitely like to try it

  • my favorite part of the youtube review was Sebastian talking about how big this fragrance is and not needing more than 2 or 3 sprays. I also liked Michelyns Rousseau reference in the introduction I find that a fitting description from when I samples this a while back. TN USA here.

  • Shane Wolf says:

Great fragance and great review by Sebastian, always on point and insightful.

  • kelseyjankowski says:

I love that I get to discover a different brand. Also I enjoy learning what it smells like from his point of view. I have purchased based on reviews done by this channel and have not been disappointed.

  • Sounds very vivid, and I liked SJ’s enthusiasm about how he smelled in the south of France. Would love to have it for this summer.

    CA

  • Sounds very vivid, and I liked SJ’s enthusiasm about how he smelled in the south of France. And Michelyn’s stress on how Italians have expertly nailed craftsmanship. Tropical greenery sounds amazing for the heat. Would love to have it for this summer.

Can’t think of any scents with melon, that I have enjoyed. Sounds interesting and I hear good things about Xerjoff. Will give this a sniff! Oregon USA

  • Margarita K says:

I imagine this to be super feminine. Sebastian says it’s “tropiesque”
makes him happy. I need some happiness booster. I’ve tried Xerjoff’s Djahala before.
Michelyn I like your illustration with Rousseau’s painting; I’ve seen his works at museums, they are amazing. Greeting from Indiana.

  • Great review by Sebastian – the idea of fruit, eucalyptus, pine and surrounded by jasmine sounds really exotic and alluring. I like the collage and artwork in Michelyn’s introduction. TX, USA

  • Jasmine, greenery and fruits! Sounds exotic, like the painting by Henri Rousseau. I enjoyed Sebastian’s describing it as tropical and happy. Thanks for the opportunity to sniff! Mich USA

  • Trinity33 says:

I have tried so many jasmine focused fragrances and Sebastian’s recommendation of Xerjoff Accento Overdose as one of the most beautiful jasmine notes he’s tried has me excited. It’s selection as a finalist for the Art and Olfaction Awards is not surprising for a Xerjoff fragrance. The one’s I’ve tried have been exceptional. Commenting from MD, USA.

  • Enjoyed Sebastian’s review and Much to explore from the House of Xerjoff. Accento overdose sounds nice being a Fresh Fruity. Like to try it out. Thanks, Ca

  • Always enjoyed Sebastian’s description. Michelyn’s introduction on point as usual.

  • I always lobe watching Sebastian! His reviews are always honest and very informative. I’ve purchased many fragrances based on his reviews, Naxos being one of my very favorites. You can see the passion he has for fragrances.
The bottle for Accento Overdose is beautiful. Congratulations are in order as well for being a finalist in the Art and Olfaction Awards for 2020!!!!

  • Hashim Madani says:

This seems like a ‘must buy’ fragrance from Sebastian’s description. Tropical / island feel, and an intoxicating sillage. What’s not to love? The ‘beautiful jasmine’ notes Michelyn describes seals the deal. VA, USA.

  • Sebastian’s review really piqued my interest in this fragrance. He really knows his stuff when it comes to describing fragrances and his take on this fragrance was quite intriguing. Michelyn’s introduction was very well written and interesting as well. Her description of its fruity florals was absolutely mesmerizing. I’ve never tried anything from this house before but I’d love to. Thanks for the great review and the great giveaway. Commenting from Kentucky USA.

  • alialdujaili says:

As usual Sabastian review is a daily dose for my fragrance knowledge for six days a week, I enjoy his choices and taste of perfumes, in this review of my one of favorite houses; I have over 22 full bottles of Xerjof’s fragrances; I ‘ve requested Accento overdose sample as part of my one of purchases from Xerjoff and for my nose, the flower note is the dominant even I didn’t get much fruit as I got more flower, however, this is too strong and performs very well even it’s too strong for summer. I would like to participate in the giveaway.

Sergio’s review brought a big smile to my face. I loved the description. He had me at potent fruit bomb, plus I simply adore jasmine. Live in sunny Rialto California

  • tanle0815 says:

Well I like sebastian describe the smell and what it usage. Sound like parfum for going to a tropical paradise vacation. The article that introduce it very similar to sebastian video. Love from Texas USA.

  • First off let me say that Accento Overdose is a lovely fragrance! It almost has two sides, a heavy and light side. I absolutely loved the way Sebastian described this fragrance. His enthusiasm and passion for Accento Overdose let’s me know this was a good one. Hope I can win!

  • pandoraandperfume says:

Sebastian gave a great description of the fragrance and really captured the scent profile. I loved that Michelyn’s introduction discussed Italian craftsmanship as I know that this component is at the heart of Xerjoff’s fragrances.

  • You can’t go wrong with anything from Xerjoff!! This sounds like an intoxicating fragrance!

  • I haven’t tried anything from Xerjoff, yet. The effusive reviews by Michelyn and Sebastian make me want to try Accento Overdose. I like how the greens, pine and eucalyptus, are blended with jasmine throughout. Thanks for the review and the draw. Writing from USA.

  • Always love his reviews. Like his take on the fragrance. Xerjoff is one of my favorite houses.

  • I always enjoy Sebastian’s incite as he’s always so thorough yet concise. His descriptions are detailed and so in-depth that you can almost envision the fragrance in front of you. What I enjoyed about Michelyn’s introduction was the connection they drew from the Oscar Wilde quote, ” I have the simplest of tastes, I am always satisfied with the best”. It is a true remark of Serigo Momo’s quest to create the finest fragrance with the simplest and purest ingredients. The picture of Van Gogh’s The sower relates perfectly as this is a stunning painting which beautifully displays the texture in it and I feel a lot of Xerjoff fragrances you can almost smell the textures of their fine ingredients. I enjoyed both of Sebastian’s and Michelyn’s contributions here.

  • Oleksii Shestakov says:

Sebastian’s reviews are always great. When i started i built my collection on his opinion.

  • Sebastian is so good at describing the emotions that this fragrance evokes. When he describes how it just make him feel “happy” and that it’s “intoxicating” made me really interested in this fragrance.

I loved Michelyn’s comparison to the Rosseau painting. That comparison really comes to life for me as an Egyptian. In Egypt, jasmine is held in such high esteem as the queen of flowers. As Sebastian mentioned, this fragrance has Egyptian Jasmine and as Michelyn mentions how it intertwines with the other notes, this fragrance wouldn’t be out of place in an Egyptian household intertwining with the scents of fresh fruits.

  • Chimaobi Ayogu says:

I love Xerjoff fragrances, they rarely disappoint. Great review as always Sebastian. I’d like to be entered in the giveaway.

  • Great review by Sebastien as always. I don’t have a lot of experience with Xerjoff, but this one sounds amazing with its fruity focus. Very intriguing. Washington state.

  • Camille Sheil says:

The idea that this leaves a massive trail that you can do a uturn on and be overwhelmed by its beauty really was amazing to hear from Sebastian! It seems like such a beautiful fragrance!

A Jasmine note that linger throughout sounds wonderful! I have to wonder how the fruitiness combines with that.

Thanks for this opportunity! I live in New Hampshire USA!

  • Vijay Tilwani says:

As Sebastian mentioned , I love big fragrances. Jasmine and musk are some of my fav notes and with this version of blast of fruits would be interesting. Have sampled few Xerjoff before and have some on my to buy list. subscriber of Sebastian and Cafleurbon from Los Angeles, USA. Thanks for a draw.

  • tamayoidowu says:

I recently became aware of Xerjoff through Sebastian’s youtube channel. Xerjoff is a great brand with many great fragrances and Accento overdose is one of them. Thanks to Sebastian’s review of this fragrance I think it will make a great first fragrance of Xerjoff for me to own!!! Love from USA!

  • Love a happy smelling fragrance as Sebastian described! And the beautifully described Jasmine note sounds exciting!

  • diegopineda says:

Sebastian’s Review: What I liked about the review is how he breaks down the scent character profile. It sounds like a supremely blended scent, which is very hard and complex to achieve.

Michelyn’s introduction: What I liked about the introduction is how he explains that the scent is comparable to a painting by rousseau by its complexity.

  • Sebastian’s YouTube review of Xerjoff Accento Overdose **
Enjoy this review and really do enjoy this house Xerjoff, this particular sent really excite me the fully and happy nature as explained by Sebastian has me very excited to have this in my collection. Please enter me in the giveaway and maybe this will be the first time I can win something if not I will look toward obtaining this from one of your distributors, as always you are a wonderful company with the highest quality of products that I truly do enjoy.

  • Wow this sounds absolutely divine! I love fruit… I love green notes… and I don’t mind florals! The fact that this fragrance can keep such notes in play continually is delightful. Sebastian’s review made me ecstatic to hear about this perfume. The connection made here to painting definitely makes sense, maybe we could be the monkeys enjoying fruits in the midst of plants and shrubs too lol! I’m in California by the way.

  • i very much enjoy fruity fresh scents and the description of sebastian really caught my interest. especially the fact it seems to be a fruity bomb with great longevity and projection sounds amazing. would love to win the bottle as it would be my first opportunity to explore a xerjoff fragrance. many thanks

  • Anna Jurgenson says:

Sebastian’s review’s are always so seductive ;). Absolutely will be trying this one. I love fruit and Jasmine, so sounds amazing. Thank you for such a wonderful introduction.

  • Thanks for the reviews! I liked how Sebastian emphasized how “big” this fragrance is & how you need only 2. – 3 sprays max. I tend to overspray because I love that huge enveloping experience with a fragrance, especially when I first put it on, so It sounds wonderful to be surrounded by a large expansive fruity floral with that much strength. In Michelyn’s introduction, I identified with Sergei‘s experience with olfactory memories as a child & how they impact his current creations. So many of my favorite fragrances were born in childhood memories (Imitation Man, Under the Lemon Trees). I’m from the hills of Arizona.

  • I’m very interested in trying this one out! Jasmine is my favorite note, and Sebastian made it sound wonderful!

  • I’m very interested in trying this one out! Jasmine is my favorite note, and Sebastian made it sound wonderful! VA usa

  • Leonicia Blue says:

Sebastian’s review are always descriptive and informative. I love fruity florals. I would love to have this as an introduction to Xeroff.

  • Disneydad says:

I liked the painting that Michelyn selected to represent the fragrance. Really helps the reader visualize the vibe that the scent is setting. I also liked that Sebastian had experience wearing the fragrance and could attest to its power and quality. I’m in IL, USA for the giveaway.

  • I loved listening to the description of such a big, bold fragrance, and Rousseau’s inspiration seems quite spot on. I need to get to know this line more. I am in the USA.

  • Shayne Law says:

This fragrance sounds AMAZING and , as a subscriber, I loved Sebastian’s Youtube review. I love them all. His fragrance and scent knowledge is unparalleled and I now watch at least a half dozen fragrance Youtubers. This powerful, fruity, tropical scent with the support of jasmine sounds amazing and I would be over the moon to add it to my modest, yet growing fragrance collection.

  • Sebastian said that it is an island-getaway kind of perfume and it makes you happy. I definitely need some happiness in this COVID time! And I love jasmine notes a lot!
Really love that Michelyn talked about nature and craftsmanship when talking about Xerjoff. That is all the house is about!
Thanks for the giveaway! Florida, USA

  • I like how Sebastian describes the adventure of the fragrance notes and how it morphs over time. He’s very descriptive above the feeling that you get from smelling it and detailed about the prominent notes. Definitely makes the fragrance sound appetizing and uplifting. Xerjoff has some great quality fragrances and I can believe that this is no different. I like fruity florals, but they have a tendency to be a bit one and the same, so this is an enticing release to try one that makes a statement. Michelyn’s introduction gave a lot of background on the inspiration behind the fragrance line, and I love how much inspiration comes from the home country Italy and its culture. Beautiful pictures as well! -USA

  • A glowing review. Want this now. I haven’t had a strong fragrance in quite some time. Not enough exp. with the house to have a fave. US

  • I really enjoyed Sebastians review especially that he said this is a happy fragrance and one that makes him happy. Also like the idea of the fruity notes and jasmine together with musky and the other touches he mentioned throughout the fragrance. I liked the quote Michelyn had in the intro from Sergio Momo and how she mentioned this is artistic. I’d love to win this one! Commenting from CT USA. Thanks for the generous draw.

  • Chris Paulsen says:

Loved hearing about this fragrance. All the fruits with a backbone of woods sounds amazing. Excited to try a big performing fruity fragrance.

  • That opening is all I need to know: big beefy fruity fragrance! Its warm and I love fruity fragrances. I also love jasmine. Michelyn’s intro mentions that fruity florals can be generic but this one stands out, so that intrigues me too. Fruity fragrances can feel juvenile sometimes, like something I wore as a teenager so I’m excited to try this. USA

  • abbie road says:

I love fruity fragrances and have always been on the search for beefy fruity fragrances! yay! the bottle is also so beautiful! love Michelyn and Sebastian’s take on the fragrance. usa

  • I loved this review!!! I love jasmine fragrances but I’ve never had one that combined it with fruity notes. It sounds gorgeous! I only own one Xerjoff (Golden Dallah). That one is more of a heavy, spicy, gourmand. I’d love to have a fruity floral one from this house.
    I live in the USA.

  • Although I love florals, I have never tried any of the Xerjoff fragrances, perhaps because I tend to be shy about big bold scents. However, Michelyn caught my interest in referring to this as the best example of the artistic use of jasmine, and Sebastian’s description of redoubling on the cheerful fruit trail of Accento Overdose has got me curious! This could be one to get me out of my comfort zone….

  • I do like fruity florals but I totally agree that they can be common and many seem so similar. Sebastian’s reviews are always interesting, and I like how he described the opening as a fruit compote (vs. the yawn-inducing fruit cocktail variation) and the intoxicating description convinced me! I live in the USA. Thanks for the giveaway!

  • I love original Uden. this new version sounds absolutely wonderful! I love fruit… I love green notes… and I love florals! I really need to try this new version because Uden is one of my favorite frags. Sebastian’s review made me eager to try this perfume. The connection made here to painting definitely makes sense, and I would love to check more of his work. I really hope Uden overdose fixed the problems I had with Uden. I need to win this pleaaaaaaase . NJ/USA

  • Forever a fan of big fruity blast fragrances. Like Sebastien said, this is a big big fruity frag. Peaked my interest and would love to try

  • tlindquist says:

I’m all about “big, fruity” and fresh notes. “Tropicalesque?” Yes, please! I’m ready for the beach, the pool, the sun, the fruity cocktails. Can’t wait to try this one!

  • Sebastian’s description of Accento Overdose as a fruity fragrance with green touches that has aromatic spicy qualities sound wonderful. Would love to try this based on that description, and also considering Michelyn finds it as having one of the most beautiful jasmine notes she has smelt. Regards from the USA.

  • Eric Oden says:

I enjoyed Sebastian’s discussion of the limited notes, but the “touches” of other things that he picked up. I liked Michelyn note that the jasmine runs throughout the fragrance. Normally, floral notes can be really fleeting, but I would be really interested in a jasmine that lasts a long time.

I reside in Livingston, Montana, USA.

  • Sunny Chaudhary says:

Sebastian made this sound amazing and it’s on my want to buy list. Also I am a big fan of Henri Rousseau paintings so I liked Michelyn bringing that in as well.

Would love to win something sometime.

Another great review by Mr. Jara. I love jasmines. I have three different jasmine varieties on my garden. I love the smell of this flowering plant and that’s why I’ll love to own this fragrance. Jasmines are such a beautiful flowers and the smell is intoxicating, delicious and perfect in every way. I’m sure that the jasmine notes along with the exotic fruit notes combinations in the hands of such a perfume creator made out of this fragrance a masterpiece in every way. I still don’t own any Xerjoff, I’ve experienced Kobe and I’m planning in purchasing this one very soon. Thank you for the opportunity to participate in this draw. I’m commenting from Orlando, Fl.

  • Sebastian is my #1 YT reviewer. I have never tried any Xerjoff and would be nice to own one. Xerjoff is about nature and craftmanship. Thanks Michelyn. The bottle is exquisite! Sebastian mentioned the potency and longevity were simply wow. Two factors that always draw me in. Plus it has jasmine which is an absolute fave. IL, USA

I’ve smelled this fragrance once before and Sabastian’s review totally nailed it. Jasmine and eucalyptus are two of my favorite scents and Sabastian’s description of how they compliment the tropical fruity notes has totally sold me. Most of the fragrances in my collection are pretty subtle and I’ve been looking for the right kind of heavy hitter to add to my arsenal. I’d love to get to try this one out on myself!

  • WOW ! Such a interesting reviews by Sebastian and Michelyn !!
Sebastian described it as fruit cocktail, with a touch of wood and amber in drydown. Michelyn found it as fruity floral with dominant jasmine. So interesting… I like Xerjoff very much, especially Zefiro, Mamluk.

Sebastian is always so clear in his reviews. One really understands the notes and how they work together. I love fruity florals and this sounds absolutely scrumptious. The description of the company and its ethic is also important. Thank you so much for the review and Michelyn’s introduction and many thanks for the generous draw. I’m in the USA

  • miguelm33 says:

What I liked about Sebastian’s review was that he mentioned that this is a powerful fragrance, it’s beast mode and it does well in the warmer weather. The fruity notes and the green notes sounds good for warm weather. Exotic fruits and tropical greens, all that sounds good and reminds me of being on an island.

  • Natalia306 says:

I like Sebastian’s Video review and watched this one two times, just to figured all about this Art & Olfaction 2020 finalist in the Independent category perfum. Congratulations Xerjoff! Enjoyed very much introduction of Editor-in-Chief Michelyn Camen’s :” The intent of Xerjoff was to use the best of what the world and nature has provided us and combine this with what man can achieve. Italians have for all of history, taken pride in craftsmanship”.
Xerjoff Accento Overdose beautifully composed by Christian Carbond , this fruity -floral scent with unique green notes eucalyptus very interesting to me. I enjoyed Lira , sure would love this one too. Have to say that gold bottle attractive to my eyes. Thank you Mishelyn, Sebastian, Xerjoff and Cafleurebon

  • Crisstyyn says:

I just love the most of Xerjoff’s creation, i might say it is my all time favorite fragrance house. Although i have never had the chance to test Accento Overdose, Sebastian convinced me it is another masterpice 🙂 i do love the fruity oppening in a perfume and the most beautiful ingredient in a fragrance i believe it is the jasmine. So, with that touch of green notes and spices it must be amazing. I would be so happy to win this draw for my b-day thank you for the draw, congrats to Sebastian for the review!

Because of Sebastian’s reviews I learned about discovery sets and purchased one from Xerjoff that included Accento Overdose. I was able to use the sample while watching the video which helped me decide if I should invest in this fabulous fragrance.

  • doveskylark says:

Sebastian truly sold me on this fragrance. I loved the way he described the intoxication, the tropical spirit, and the bigness of the fragrance. It does indeed sound like a good deal if only 2 or 3 sprays are needed.

  • Brygantor says:

I always appreciate Sebastian’s reviews, as he is always enthusiastic and thorough. Add to that, non-biased. That’s why I l I jdd his review of this fragrance. As for Michelyn, her introduction was very good, focusing on the artistry and craftsmanship that went into making this fragrance. Molto Bene`!

I definitely want to get my hands on this, as I only have experience with 3 Xerjoff’s (40 Knots, Nio and More than Words). I reside in Waldorf, MD, USA.

I’ve smelled this fragrance once before and Sabastian’s review totally nailed it. I love Xerjoff but have not tried this one! How is that possible when I also love jasmine and I adore the way Xerjoff does fruity scents. Thank you for the draw. I’m in the US.

  • wildevoodoo says:

So interesting that jasmine is used as a base note here! The stone fruits combined with the green qualities sound like a lovely opening, and the aromatic-woody-spicy middle does sound like a fabulous contrast. I would agree with Michelyn that many fruity florals give the genre a bad name in general, but obviously Accento Overdose must be doing something right if it was a finalist for the Art and Olfaction Awards!

  • Michael Prince says:

Sebastian, as always had an excellent review of Xerjoff Accento Overdose. This sounds like an amazing fruity floral fragrances. That has beautiful fruits and jasmine that last throughout the life of the fragrance along with a green presence and a spicy, aromatic, and woody base. I am also happy to hear how well this fragrance performs. It sounds like the perfect versatile, all year round, signature worthy fragrance. I am from the USA.

  • IvanVelikov says:

The history, and the story behind Accento Overdose was captivating.
Xerjoff sure are both high end, and at the same time up to date brand. I find it important to be well in touch with the modern day era , virtual reality presentations is not something you can see every day. I do remember Sebastian said it in one of his videos on YouTube.
I actually like wearing aggressive fragrances all the time. To me there’s no such thing as “Too strong for the summer” . For close encounters, or a walk in the park , or at work with customers Accento Overdose would work on all occasions. Multifaceted fragrance I’d love to win.
For clubbing I have Lira , my favorite Xerjoff .
    Fantastic draw. In USA

  • What I enjoyed most about Sebastian’s Review of Accento Overdose is how descriptive he was of the fragrance and how it smelled. To me he’s one of the best reviewers when it comes to that. What I enjoyed about Michelyn’s introduction is her descriptive words supporting why this fragrance is an art and olfaction awards finalist this year. What I enjoyed most about Michelyn’s Interview with Sergio Momo is nearing about Sergio’s connection with fragrance and his father. I hope to win this giveaway.

best reviewer on YT by far. I love the detail he goes into, he makes it so you can clearly imagine what the fragrance might smell like without ever getting a nose on it. he sold me on it with “fruit compote.”

  • When I think about Xerjoff pictures of Mefisto always comes to mind. Being a barber my love for aromatic and citrusy fragrances comes naturally. Lavender is prominent, but don’t push it into mature territory. Super classy, yet not overly aggressive fragrance, exactly what I expect from Accento Overdose . Yes I know Sebastian said we should be careful when spraying, but aggressive and powerful are different things to me. Mefisto is more dressed up day time occasions scent, but Accento Overdose feels a bit more casual. Bottle looks stunning I have to say.
Oh’ I also want to try the new Mefisto version called Gentiluomo, and the two coffee ones. Such a nice draw, I’m so pumped.
    Thank you

Accento Overdose description reminded me of me eating Panna Cotta with Stone Fruit Compote under some pine tree, it actually really sounds awesome, almost on pair with THE best Xerjoff I’ve smelled called Italica. Exclusive to Harvey Nichols , and they do not want to ship it to US . On top of all it’s not even available at xerjoffuniverse , which was a shock to me.
Smells very, and I mean very similar to a traditional Toffee Almond Cake with spelt flour, unsweetened cocoa powder , almonds , buttermilk , strong brewed coffee, dark rum , bittersweet chocolate , salt. It’s a traditional Italian cake. I’m pretty sure the cake was the inspiration behind Italica. One of the best realistically smelling gourmands , and top 3 gourmands in my collection, and I have over 80.
It’s really hard for me to get it , because I had to find someone to get it for me in UK , and bring it to the States.
    Accento Overdose also sounds delicious,
    I’ll get a sample ASAP.
Appreciate Sebastian review, Michelyn Arts and Olfaction 2020 awards intro , and the giveaway campaign.

Wow Xerjoff giveaway. I have such respect for the brand.
I’m really vain, and wearing Xerjoff is a special experience . I feel untouchable like Eliot Ness .
The two in my possession are Lira and Opera . Love them equally.
Both Accento and Accento Overdose I have not smelled, but I can relate to Overdose because of how powerful and diverse it is . Fruity, some greens and pine , different fragrance no doubt about it
I’m so excited for this giveaway, USA
    Regards

  • Almost all Xerjoff fragrances are multifaceted , and Accento Overdose is no exception. Sweet and fruity , going into jasmine, and spicy base , undoubtedly a stunner . I have to check it out.
Hey I have Henry Rousseau’s Exotic Landscape reproduction at home , nice choice Michelyn.
Proud of owning Naxos 1861. Generous giveaway, thank you. USA

  • I’d first like to say that the bottles that Xerjoff brand has created is like no other. Visually speaking, they have made beautiful bottles. Unfortunately, I have never smelled any Xerjoff fragrances, but the way Sebastian describes this one sounded like my childhood and my love for fruits and the satisfaction I received enjoying all different kinds. What I enjoyed about Michelyn’s introduction is that section where quality over quantity really matters. This I wholeheartedly agree with. It’s quality of the product that is important and by the sound of it, Xerjoff is all about quality. I would love to enjoy this fragrance this summer with both fruity and floral notes.
    I live in MI, USA.

I find Xerjoff to be one the top 5 brands of high end perfumery. One of my the first niche purchases was Lira early 2012… early March I think.
Doesn’t matter is you like safe , daring or sweet, Xerjoff portfolio is big , and you’re covered .
Accento Overdose attracts me bitter green , fruity facets and the right amount of jasmine.
As I said Lira was my first Xerjoff purchase, and I still love it, but it’s not my favorite one, not anymore, Cruz del Sur II is , followed by Golden Dallah and then comes Lira.
I like Sergio Momo honesty about using best of both worlds, naturals and synthetics .
    Cheers from VA

  • Sebastian talked about this as a a big fragrance and a little goes a long way. I love heavy fruity fragrances. The introduction introduces Accento as one that stands out.

Enjoyable review as usual. I just love Sebastian passion for high quality fragrances . He brought me to Cafleurebon after all , back in 2015 🙂
Accento Overdose is gorgeous indeed. Personally I don’t find it that strong, I do agree the longevity is great , but sillage and projection are good . I’m scared of heavy on the jasmine fragrances, especially if they are indolic, but there’s nothing indolic in Accento Overdose. It’s blended perfectly, just like it’s predecessor Accento I by the way own , but still in Sospiro bottle before Sergio Momo decided to bring back all Sospiro fragrances under Xerjoff umbrella.
Xerjoff i find to be one of the best niche brands ever created. Of course I can’t say i love all they got , but undoubtedly blended well colognes, variety is pretty big, so every fragrance lover should be able to find pleasing to his taste fragrance. At this moment I own 6 Xerjoff bottles .My favorite one is Mamluk .
I like Michelyn remark about most fruity floral fragrances being plain, and overly generic. About the 2020 The Art and Olfaction Awards , it’s always nice to get recognition, with a strong competition this year.
To all Cafleurebon crew and readers , stay safe and healthy, all will be over soon I do believe, or at least the worst part.
    Stuck in USA

  • Sebastian’s reviews are always on point. I have yet to be disappointed when blind buying based in his reviews. However this will be an easy buy because I love jasmine, the funk to the fruit. I’m looking forward experience the craftsmanship of Xerjoff Accento Overdose Michelyn is talking about. USA

  • I loved Sebastian’s review and his insistence to watch the sprays. I love Naxos and More Than Words from Xerjoff – the latter only needing one spray before my spouse starts complaining. Thanks for the review and giveaway. I’m in USA
