Crafted with master perfumer Christian Provenzano under creative direction of Redolessence’s Steven Gavrielatos (also our colleague and ÇaFleureBon video contributor), Vivamor Parfums latest launch, Main Character, stormed social media with its nostalgic wink to the 2000s, fused with modern ethereal fluff. It’s cotton candy’s soft kiss on a spring day, uplifting pear blossoms open to peony-fuzzed peaches and ripe raspberries, sweetened by orris and jasmine. Unapologetically feminine and gentle, Vivamor Parfums Main Character whispers compliments without shouting. No vampish edge here, she’s pastel-clad confidence, holding court softly, lingering in dreams long after her warm hug fades.

It’s that perfect alchemy of nostalgia and modernity for me, paying subtle homage to the iconic DNA of Aquolina’s Pink Sugar, the gourmand pioneer that paved the way for so many sweet, indulgent scents we adore today. Yet, Vivamor Parfums has elevated it into something truly contemporary: an ethereal, fluffy delight that evokes the soft, playful touch of cotton candy brushing against your lips on a sun-drenched spring afternoon. It’s a fragrance that feels both comforting and fresh, like slipping into a favorite childhood memory reimagined for the sophisticated soul of today.

The opening act bursts forth with an uplifting wave of pear blossom, delicate and airy, setting a fruity, optimistic tone that immediately lifts your spirits. This gentle introduction doesn’t overpower; instead, it invites you in, promising more sweetness to come. As the heart reveals itself, a lush bouquet of peonies emerges, intertwined with the fuzzy white peaches and the juicy ripeness of raspberries. This floral-fruity medley takes a delightfully candy-like turn, sweetened further by the powdery tenacity of orris root and the elegant bloom of jasmine. It’s here that the fragrance truly blooms into its gourmand essence, balancing whimsy with a touch of sophistication that keeps it from veering into the overly saccharine.

And in the base you’ll find playful cotton candy accord built upon clouds of velvet musk for that soft, skin-like intimacy, it’s enriched with warm vanilla’s comforting embrace, creamy sandalwood’s smooth depth, and a drizzle of caramel that adds just the right amount of indulgent richness. This foundation lingers beautifully, evolving on the skin to create a halo of sweetness that’s both fun and refined.

Main Character Vivamor Parfums

Vivamor Main Character is ultra feminine yet profoundly gentle. It doesn’t scream for attention; rather, it draws you in with quiet allure, gathering compliments effortlessly because who could resist turning their head when enveloped in such a cloud of irresistible goodness. This isn’t the scent of a lady vamp with her dramatic edges and bold declarations, no, Main Character embodies the soft-spoken confidence of someone adorned in pastel hues, cherished by all around her. She commands the room without raising her voice, holding her ground with poise and grace. You find yourself dreaming of her long after she’s left, still feeling the lingering warmth of her hug, a subtle reminder of her presence that clings like a cherished secret. In a saturated arena of fragrance competing for the beast projection, Vivamor Parfums Main Character reminds us of the power in subtlety, making it a must-try for anyone seeking a fragrance that’s as dreamy and approachable as it is captivating. If you’re a fan of gourmands with a twist of nostalgia, this one deserves your attention.

Notes: Pear Blossom, Italian Bergamot, Pink Peony, White Peach, Raspberry, French Orris, Egyptian Jasmine, Cotton Candy, Velvet Musk, Vanilla Bean, Sandalwood, Caramel.

I am a little familiar with Vivamor being a sister house to Navitus but haven’t had the chance to try any of them. Main Character seems to be just that, you’ll be the center of attention when you wear this. It’s floral, a bit sweet and sexy with enough fruits to work in any weather. I think Olya described it perfectly calling it subtle but captivating and approachable as well. I have seen some videos online and it’s having a bit of a viral moment so congrats to Redolessence on the much deserved success. I’m located in the USA.

  • A lot of my favorite notes in here. I enjoy some raspberry to temper sweetness. Sandalwood is always a plus in a fragrance. I’m sure if Steven is involved this is amazing. I’ve never smelled anything from Vivamor. USA.

oh my gosh! i was BEYOND excited to see this giveaway! i missed the release & it sold out so quickly- i was so sad! a friend generously gave me her sample of it, that she got w/her’s & wow! this is a dream giveaway fragrance for me! i would literally… it’d be surreal! although, whoever does win, i will be so happy for & probably is SO deserving! :). but, for the fantastic piece written about the fragrance by olya – she is so spot on! it is a captivating fragrance & she isn’t loud, but, she is just perfect in her grace & elegance! i love how she captures the essence of this fragrance SO well. she really brings the fragrance to life w/her word’s & it makes it so you feel like you can just imagine the fragrance- imagine the person wearing it. i really loved reading her review, because as i mentioned… she really hit the nail on the head. main character is the main character wrapped in grace & beauty. ‘lingering in dreams long after her warm hug fades…’ this & when she mentions it’s like slipping into your favorite childhood memory. this fragrance is all that & more & i am just so ecstatic that i get the opportunity to not only read olya’s perfect review, but, get the chance to maybe win main character! seriously, it would be a dream! i have to say my favorite vivamor fragrance is main character! i am obsessed! :). i am in the untied states- colorado.

I really enjoyed Olya’s review and thought it quite good. I think she was the perfect choice to review Steven’s collaboration with Vivamour Parfums and would love the opportunity to have Main Character be the first perfume I try from the brand as I currently own nothing from them.

The fragrance notes are all so appealing to me and the bottle presentation suits the story told of this perfume entirely. Thank you for the opportunity to win this beautiful fragrance.

Thanks for the great review Olya

Vivamor Parfums Main Character feels like stepping into a pastel-lit daydream that still holds its own weight. The interplay of pear blossom, white peach and raspberry opens with an airy sparkle, while pink peony and orris lend a refined floral backbone. The cotton-candy twist adds a whisper of playful gourmand charm, and beneath it all, vanilla bean, caramel and sandalwood bring a plush signature trail. I love how it balances light-hearted sweetness with subtle depth—like chic meets carefree. I’d love to try Main Character!

  • This will be my first from this house if I’m the lucky one. It sounds like a gentle cozy one that would be great for bedtime or a lazy Sunday. I like the soft pink, cream and gold colors of the bottle design. I am located in California.

  • This sounds like a beautiful light fragrance. I like that it is feminine and not loud it makes me think of a dainty lady. I have been loving fragrances with an orris note. I am intrigued by the combination of raspberry, white peach, pear blossom of course orris and then then cotton candy. Main Character sounds like a lovey spring fragrance. I am very excited to try this one. I’m in Pennsylvania USA

  • Congratulations on the collab Steven! This sounds fun, feminine and flirty. Lots of fruit and florals with a cotton candy note and a sandalwood gourmand base. I definitely get the nod to Aquolina’s Pink Sugar. There’s definitely a youthful, playful vibe with the orris and velvet musk bringing a fluffy lightness to the perfume. MD, USA

  • Olya’s review captured the dreamy essence of Main Character so beautifully. I could almost smell the pear blossom and cotton candy through her words. I love how she described the balance between nostalgia and modern femininity. It truly made the fragrance come alive in my imagination. My favorite Vivamor Parfums scent so far is Ethereal Wave. It has the same soft, comforting elegance that makes every wear feel special.

Alright, I actually like this one. It sounds soft, feminine, and really put together in that effortless way. This is something I’d 100% give my girlfriend. I can already picture her loving how gentle and pretty it smells. It’s got that sweet, cotton candy vibe without being childish, and the fact that it’s from a brand she’s probably never heard of makes it even better. I love surprising her with stuff that’s unique, that still feels like luxury and intentional. Definitely feels like the kind of scent that makes people lean in instead of step back. I’m definitely from the USA and I have to go with Cherry Prive as a favorite.

  • Olya describes fragrances to me like Steven does. I love it when she said Main Character embodies soft-spoken confidence. I own Tagomago and Caramel Pop. I’m planning on buying their Tea Temptation. I went to order this fragrance it I was too late as it had sold out. I’m hoping I win it.

  • I’ve been following Steven for as long i can remember! when i heard he was releasing a fragrance i just knew it would be good and sweet lol. just like the article says, its definitely gourmand and it doesnt hide that fact, this is one i would sure be getting my wife!

  • Olya’s review from Main Character says tha is a love declaration dressed in gold. It opens with a luminous glow of white florals that feel sun-kissed and full of life, never shy or powdered. The heart blooms into a radiant bouquet that wraps the wearer in warmth, as if the skin itself remembers passion.

Amber and vanilla rise like a soft spotlight, adding a caress of sweetness that reads intimate, not gourmand. A whisper of spice adds pulse and intrigue. Vivamor becomes a second skin… glowing, confident, and impossibly romantic.

This is a fragrance that celebrates affection in its purest form. Not loud, yet unforgettable. Not sugary, yet deliciously addictive. From USA.

  • Although fragrance can be subjective this description is appealing to females most likely. Sweet and delicate from its packaging and also in its presence. Having an open mind and never one to turndown opportunities. I would like to enter the contest. It being Steve’s creation it has to be a welcome addition to the perfumers palate. From USA
