Top Five Summer Perfumes 2025 + Côte D’ Azur Giveaway

Top Five Summer Perfumes

Top Five Summer Perfumes 2025 image by Steven

It’s here! Summer. Some of us love the season; some of us count the days to October. Either way, most of us look for scents that do more than cool us down; they lifts our spirits. They aren’t overwhelming, but have presence and bloom in the heat. This year’s top five Summer Perfumes were curated by Steven Gavrielatos, ÇaFleureBon’s video contributor-Michelyn Camen, Editor-in-Chief

Summer is a great time to wear Goldfield & Banks Pacific Rock Flower (Emilie Bouge) which blends sea air and florals. Complemented by creamy blooming notes, a salty ocean accord, and warm woods, the perfume mirrors the rhythm of the tide meeting the land. It is easy to understand why this made Steven’s top five summer perfumes. Steven’s video here

Notes according to the brand’s website: Australian Coastal Tea Tree, Coral Flower (Coral Flower is a type of peony), Cocowax, Tuberose, Patchouli Indonesia, Australian Sandalwood, Sea Salt Accord

In recent years, the internet has fixated on one trendy drink after another, and the past two summers have been dominated by the Aperol Spritz, its vibrant, bittersweet charm flooding our social media feeds. Maison Margiela Replica has captured this carefree summer vibe with Never Ending Summer – a fragrance inspired by the refreshing bite of Aperol and the zesty pop of a juicy orange garnish. This scent evokes sun-soaked days, lively gatherings, and sweet summer getaways. –Olya Bar, Editor

Notes: bitter orange, aperol pepper; earl grey tea, cardamom, nutmeg, vetiver, cedarwood, patchouli, vanilla, peru balsam and Cashmeran.

La Mar by House of Bo Rodrigo Flores-Roux) is a gorgeous blend of tuberose and coconut. This is a gem that is beautifully diffusive, and the floral bouquet smells incredibly natural and photorealistic. Which is why it is one of my top five summer perfumes- Steven

Fleuve Tendre by Liquides Imaginaires (Sonia Constant) is an animalic summer perfume with mandarin orange, musk, and civet. A touch of rose adds sensuality while cardamom engages in the mysterious elements of the composition. -Steven

If you are looking for a fragrance that takes you to the Côte D’Azur, Atelier Des Ors Riviera Drive (Marie Salamagne) will whisk you there with just a spritz (far away from summer in the city). Inspired by the movie “To Catch a Thief”, Riviera Drive is very fresh, adventurous, and exhilarating. A flash of bright lemon and a tumble of fresh herbs create the aromatic impression of riding in a classic 1950s convertible with the wind in your hair. The gold flakes in the bottle are like gilded grains of sand sur la plage. It is one of my top five summer perfumes as well-Michelyn

Notes: Lemon, marjoram, rosemary, cedar leaf, absinthe, patchouli, Cashmeran, cedar and musk.

Disclosure: Steven received bottles for this review; opinions his own. Michelyn had a bottle of Atelier Des Ors Riviera Drive gifted to her from Atelier des Ors in 2019, Olya was gifted Martin Margiela

  • I always enjoy how Steven gives me fragrances no other content creator is mentioning. Also love how it’s not all masculines but also unisex and fems

  • TheHappyDarin says:

I absolutely love learning about fragrances, and this curated list is spectacular. I have smelled Never Ending Summer, and it is stunning. Clean, quick summer fragrances are my absolute jam!

  • Makenzie Banister says:

Steven is someone I’ve followed for a while! At first a silent follower, but he’s introduced me to so many brands! From niche to middle eastern and everything in between. First, I love his enthusiasm and his honesty, I love his broad taste. Second, I love how consistent he is with his videos. In this particular video, I appreciate the details he goes into with each scent as well as the ability to narrow it down to five! I know how difficult that always is. Summer scents have always been my favorite so I love hearing about different fragrances!! La Mar has been a top favorite of mine for a while! I can’t wait to test the others!

While I have sniffed Never Ending Summer and ultimately decided it wasn’t suited for me, I can appreciate the description Olya Bar had given.
On the other hand, lemon in right up my alley! I have been eager to test out Atelier Des Ors perfumes especially Blue Madeleine, I’m now intrigued after reading Michelyn’s description of Riviera Drive! Adventures in a 1950s convertible!? Count me in!!!

Thank you SO much for the incredible opportunity!!!

  • Summer recommendations usually focus on a lot of bright citrus fragrances but personally I love florals. So, I’m happy to see both highlighted in this list! I’ve been wanting to get my nose on Pacific Rock Flower since Steven reviewed it back in May. And House of Bo has been on my radar since the release of Ave Maria… La Mar features TUBEROSE (and coconut)? Say less! I’ve just expanded my wishlist

  • I appreciate that Steven not only gives great descriptions of the fragrances, he also gives comparison. This helps if someone might be considering a blind buy of a fragrance. Your article gives a nice description of the fragrances as well. It’s helpful that you list the notes of the fragrances.

  • Beautiful written article Living year around in a very warm climate I welcome Summer Fragrance recommendations

  • jennapark says:

I trust and like Steven’s reviews. He doesn’t just give notes he gives longevity ,vibe and occasion. I also appreciate that he always encourages his audience to sample before purchasing. I think that’s an important lesson for people getting into fragrance because a lot of these are pricey. I do feel i need to sample Fleuve tender because an animalic summer perfume intimidates me a little. Riveria Drive described as fresh exhilarating and bright sounds like my perfect summer scent. The gold flakes add a special touch to the beautiful presentation. I would love to own a bottle. Hello from Pennsylvania USA

  • Nikita Smith says:

All of the fragrances in the video are so uber chic made for the summers . Im in love with all of them .

  • I always love Steven’s videos. He always does an awesome job reviewing, and I’ve heard great things about Goldfield and Banks

  • Daisy Pere says:

I have actually sampled Atelier des Ors Riviera Drive and it’s an absolutely beautiful and it’s on top of my wish list. Steve sure knows how to describe it. I have seen it on Luckyscents. Goldfield & Banks Pacific Rock Flower has been on my sample list along with Fleuve Tendre by Liquides Imaginaires

  • januarysquires says:

I am new to learning about fragrances and Steven is my favorite influencer for all things fragrance! Love love love his content and have enjoyed trying out some of his recommendations! I am very excited to try out the ones listed here!

  • FreshyForever says:

Greetings Ca Fleure Bon & Steven,

I appreciate the emphasis both in this article as well as Steven’s video of fragrances’ ability to transport you to another place. The cold aromatics in Atelier Des Ors Riviera Drive really intrigue me. On the other side of the spectrum, Pacific Rock Flower holds my interest as well for its warm and smooth profile. Different fragrances, different “places.” This is what makes trying and learning about fragrances so fun and rewarding. (I reside in Texas)

  • I love to see new suggestions that aren’t the typical hyped fragrances of the moment.

  • Ramses Perez says:

These are great picks! I’m familiar with all these houses but have yet to experience any of them. Particularly, anything from House Of Bo I’m dying to try as it’s a very trendy house. Fleuve Tendre could perhaps be a bit challenging because of the civet note but I’m sure it has its fans. Never Ending Summer is newer and I still have not gotten around to smell it. Pacific Rock Flower is brand spanking new and a newer take on what summer could be. Finally Riviera Drive is an underrated gem from the house (I’ve heard) and I’m glad it’s getting its moment in the spotlight. I’m located in the USA.

  • I enjoy Steven’s content because he allows himself to be enveloped in the fragrances. He’s always honest and forthcoming and advises against blind buys, which I appreciate. His categorization of the fragrances piqued my interest and influenced my to try the House of Bō fragrance.

  • Marie Larochelle says:

I really appreciate Steven knowledge and he is very great and passionate about what he does and I have been attending some lives in Ticktock and watching a lot of his videos on YouTube for months now and his recommendations are always great.

  • Steven made all those fragrances sound great (though tuberose and I don’t much get along….sorry House of Bo). Both Fleuve Tendre and Riviera Drive stood out as scents I need go get my nose on. An added bonus for the latter is Michelyn’s mention of TO CATCH A THIEF, as I love Hitchcock. I’m in Oklahoma, USA.

  • I love Steven’s descriptions. I can 100% tell what I will and will not like based on his very detailed descriptions. He has influenced all my fragrance purchases this year. I really appreciate his honest yet positive reviews. Michelyn describes Atelier des Ors Riviera Drive as having lemon, patchouli, AND cedar? Yes please! I have a lemon vanilla I love but the lemon is the first note to dissapear. I would love to see how their lemon notes perform and I would be very tempted to blind buy.

Olya’s description of Never Ending Summer makes me think it may not be for me as I dont really enjoy “beach” scents but the compisition sounds new and unique; worthy of a sample sniff. Maybe it just might change my mind!

  • Brad Woolslayer says:

I loved hearing more about Atelier des Ors Riviera Drive. The beautiful bottle with the gold flecks and the getaway theme to Riviera Drive sound amazing. It was also nice to learn more about the other 4 fragrances on the list. I’d really love to win a bottle of Atelier des Ors Riviera Drive. I live in Maryland USA.

  • Sahjewels9 says:

Greetings, Steven’s review is very descriptive and paints that picture of what the perfume will smell like on your skin. Steven is very smooth with it that I will purchase a bottle very soon. I love that their is a giveaway which an opportunity of gifting to someone. Michelyn’s discription of Atelier des Ors Riviera Drive makes feel once you have this fragance there is nothing stopping you on your summer journey.

Olya’s take on Never Ending Summer has you thinking once you have sprayed this on you will be hydrated as well as kissed by the sun’s rays of fragrance in a Never Ending Summer. These video’s and reviews are the best way to learn about perfumes. Thank you

  • Greg Graham Sr says:

I love the summer Fragrances, all of these Fragrances sound Awesome for the summer. I live in the deep South USA these will have there work cut out for them. Thank You Steven and Cafleurebon and Michelyn.

  • Lisa Jarrett says:

I enjoy Steven’s ability to translate fragrance through his reviews. I know what to expect, and in fact, I have blind bought several perfumes, just based off of his detailed descriptions. House of Bo has my interest peaked! I’m a huge tuberose fan!
Michelyn’s comments assure readers, that the fragrance selections are perfect for summer. I literally imagine the bright crisp clearness in Atelier Des Ors Riviera Drive.
Olya, likening the perfume to a cocktail was creative! Her description of Never Ending Summer is making my mouth water!
All of these selections sound absolutely delicious!
    Lisa in Texas

  • Valarie Hayes says:

Fleuve Tendre is a scent that interests me because it’s not one spoken about much. Your description on an animalic summer perfume with mandarin orange, musk, and civet sounds intriguing.

  • Great presentation, Steve! I really appreciate your passion for perfume and your realistic descriptions, although I love Michelyn’s insertion of that scent from To Catch A Thief. It immediately came to mind and I can see that the Cote d’Azur perfume sounds perfect! And Olya, thank you for your thoughts on Maison Margela Replica Never Ending Summer. I haven’t had great luck with the Replica series, but I will give Summer a try. One other things – I got a sample of Pacific Moss Flower and I really like the soft but elegant tea accord. I was surprised that it wasn’t drowned out by the other heavier accords. Thanks again.

  • Sister Christian says:

I’ve been inspired to try 3 of the fragrances Steven described:
Riviera Drive, Never Ending Summer, & Pacific Rock Flower.
Steven described each fragrance well enough for me to know which I gravitated toward. He came across as extremely knowledgeable about fragrances so I felt I could trust his recommendations.
His presentation was clear and easy to understand and follow.
(That the man’s easy on the eyes doesn’t hurt any either 😉

  • I love how Steve fully expresses his enthusiasm for fragrance. He made all the perfumes sound so interesting in different ways. I cannot wait to sniff them.
The article was beautiful in its imaginative scene descriptions of how these fragrances smell. You can fully imagine the smell from their words and I appreciated that.

  • Nancy Magee says:

Love Steven’s passion and his depth of knowledge. I listen to his every word!

  • Meesh Milton says:

I’m new to Steven’s channel and love how he is so enthusiastic about the scents he shares. Many fragrances he shared are new to me and his recommendations I’ve purchased have all been winners! I appreciate the opportunity to share my gratitude for the Redolessence channel.

  • Catherine Shepherd says:

Never Ending Summer sounds so good!! I appreciate Steven’s insights and being able to keep up with new frags through his channel

  • Barbara Eskin says:

Thank you for the reccomendations! It’s getting very hot in Boston. I need the advice.

  • Steven’s curated list has such great recommendations. I love how he included so many different types of fragrances to highlight how many types can work in the summer. I love La Mar by House of Bo and would love to smell the rest of his recommendations.

  • What I appreciated about Steven’s video was how thoughtful the list felt. These aren’t just fresh summer scents—they have dimension, wear well in heat, and still feel elevated. La Mar by House of Bo especially caught my attention. I love creamy white florals, and the tuberose and coconut pairing sounds like the kind of warm, radiant composition I reach for in the summer. I enjoy tropical notes when they’re done with finesse, and Steven’s description made it sound beautifully natural and diffusive—like something in the same spirit as Musamam White Intense, but more floral-forward.

Olya’s review of Never Ending Summer made me smile. I’ve always liked citrus with a twist, and the idea of bitter orange, aperol, and Earl Grey tea sounds like a sophisticated summer pick that’s fun without being overly sweet or trendy. I love when a scent captures a vibe but still feels unique, the way Callisto does for me.

Michelyn’s write-up of Riviera Drive painted a full scene. The reference to “To Catch a Thief” and the image of riding along the Côte d’Azur with lemon and herbs swirling in the air was spot on. I’m always drawn to compositions that feel classic but have a little unexpected edge, and this one sounds fresh, aromatic, and just adventurous enough.

Thanks for such a vibrant roundup. I always look for summer scents that wear beautifully on skin and stand out from the crowd, and this list gave me several new ones to explore.

  • AmberParrigan says:

Absolutely love Steven’s recommendations. I’m drawn to his youtube channel for some reason. I had a brother who has now passed away that was named Steven. I named my youngest son after him, as well. This is really a great opportunity for someone like me who is just starting out with their fragrance collection. It’s only been about a year and a half. I’m trying to broaden my collection. Refine my tastes, as well. I have 4 niche fragrances so far. They are a little out of my price range. My wish list is continuously growing, my collection is, too. Just a little slow right now. Thanks again for this amazing opportunity! This is really kind of you all!

  • Systeme D says:

Thanks to Steve, for introducing me to Fleuve Tendre. It sounds so interesting! But of all of the fragrances he has reviewed in this video, Riviera Drive appeals to me the most. I’m crazy for herbs and citrus when they are in balance, and I’m not surprised it’s his number one, too.

Michelyn’s references to the Cote D’Azur and to the film To Catch a Thief provide such perfect images for this fragrance. But honestly, the fact that she puts this in her top five summer fragrances is all the assurance I need that Riviera Drive is a winner.

And my comment would not be complete without an Aperol spritz toast to Olya. It’s hot as Hades in Chicago today, and a refreshing drink is right on the money!

  • Steven’s reviews are always so helpful. He describes the scent profiles so beautifully that I have made several blind buys with no regrets. The summer list is once again filled with new possibilities!!

  • Dolores broswick says:

I just got done watching his video, which I subscribed to awhile ago because I just love how he explains fragrances. I did but a middle eastern fragrance because of him and I am so glad I did. Was in my price range and smells like I spent way more and got so many compliments at work. The 1950s is a great time for classic cars. So I could definitely wear a perfume that reminds me of that time.

  • teatreesoil says:

i agree with the other commenters that steven’s great about having recommendations at a diverse range of price points and houses. i personally always enjoy about his reviews that he talks about the vibe/occasion that each scent gives off to him, which is important for me for deciding if a new scent fits into my collection. (as lovely as they smell, i don’t need a bunch of “black tie” suited fragrances… my life isn’t that interesting yet!) and also comparing popular fragrances with similar notes, ie maison margiela replica’s beach walk to house of bo’s la mar… exactly where my mind wandered when i hear about how its a coconut-y summer fragrance!

i literally sprayed never ending summer on myself yesterday for the start of the heat dome event over the east coast… at first my companions weren’t sure about that photorealistic orange scent (literally like peeling a navel orange), but the drydown became such a light spritzy citrus… completely avoiding the household cleaner-association i sometimes get with citrus fragrances. i really do have to get my hands on a decant at least!! i’m not a drinker so i’m not aware of what an aperol spritz smells/tastes like, but honestly… im kind of tempted now!

and michelyn really hits the nail on the head about how beautiful atelier des ors riviera drive’s bottle is! that’s the kind of bottle you wake up to & smile because summer vacation is approaching! the herbal notes sound absolutely wonderful & refreshing

  • Over the last few years I’ve become so interested in fragrance and finding this site as well as the Redolessence YouTube channel has been a boon! Learning about perfumes at different price points and what kinds of scent notes are associated with different seasons and personalities has been really educational and fun!

  • Teresa05812 says:

Another great video from Steven. I reallu enjoy is videos and the way he describes fragrances. These all sound perfect for the summer. Never ending Summer and La Mar sound like my kind of summer fragrances.

  • kirk paganelli says:

Redolence Steven on YouTube this guy knows great perfume!!! I love watching him and usually end buying what ever he says is good. I love clean and fresh smelling fragrances with long lasting and that leaves a trail!!! Steven is just amazing!! I watch all his videos!! I love smelling good. All these perfumes look great!

  • I love the way you break down the fragrance notes—it really helps me understand the scent better. I also appreciate how you give dupes for the luxury brands.

  • I’m a avid watcher of Steven aka redolessence! And I don’t have any of the fragrances he mentioned expect for one sample of house of bo, la mar! Beautiful luxurious beach side resort smelling fragrance! Would Love to win a 100ml thank you for the reads!

  • anna.k.aguilar says:

Great list! I love La Mar and can’t wait to get my nose on Pacific Rock Flower.

  • I love Steve’s passion for all kinds of fragrances. His descriptions are articulate and very knowledgeable, which is what I appreciate. Not a lot of fragrances smell good on me, so I make sure pay attention to the notes because I know what I don’t like.

  • Ellen Oliver says:

Loved Steven’s video giving a good range of summer options ! The written article gave further insight into the fragrances! I have sampled La Mar and fell in love but I am dying to try Pacific Rock Flower since I tried Pacific Rock Moss and it was a love ..the florals added sounds perfect for me !

  • LightOfJoy says:

In Steven’s video, the idea of wearing Atelier Des Ors Riviera Drive on a day when everything is going right is a thoughtful mental picture. It truly prepares the wearer – perhaps by starting the day with it, one might have a relaxed perspective to carry them through. It becomes a “Which comes first, the chicken or the egg?” kind of scenario.

I love that Aperol Spritzes have become more popular. They are such a lovely, refreshing treat!

Thank you to Kintessence and Cafleurebon for this generous giveaway. I live in the USA.

  • Steve you are the man!
Always dressing dapper and kudos to you for being a teacher helping out our community! Your videos are extremely informative and fun to watch.
I think I like the goldfield and banks one the best just from the sound of it but the Atelier truly sounds amazing as well!

  • Tonya Needham says:

I love Steven’s videos I enjoy how he includes different scent profiles (aquatic, freshie, citrus, etc). He is so knowledgeable of notes and I love his description of Pacific Rock Flower.

  • I love all the references of the French Riviera Drive. Aperol spritz sounds enticing. All the fragrances are unique and refreshing, perfect for California summer. Steven does such a great job describing all the fragrances.

  • Thank you Steve and Michelyn for giving us another banging curated list. The 5 all sound amazing but out of all Atelier des Ors Riviera Drive intrigued me the most and I look forward to being whisked to the French Riviera 🙂 I was happy that Steven ranked it first on his list. It sounds like the best feel for summer. I’m in USA

  • Catherine says:

I welcome all sorts of fragrance recommendations, especially Summer choices!

    Great article with exciting selections!

I will definitely sample these 5 scents and hopefully purchase some additions to my collection!

  • I really enjoyed Steven’s top five perfumes video because I am always looking for a new great fragrance and Stevens videos are so in depth. Thanks Michelyn and Olya for the written reviews also.

  • sourbergamot says:

Steven’s review style makes even complex fragrances easy to understand. I am now obsessed with the idea of sampling Fleuve Tendre. Michelyn’s Cote d’Azur and Olya’s bitter orange twist, both are so creative.

  • Great review about some great summer fragrances. I’m particularly interested in Atelier des Ors Riviera Drive as it has so many notes that make my heart sing! I’d love to have a bottle if I win the draw. Thanks for the opportunity.

  • whispering moonlight says:

The range of Steven’s top five is what impressed me, salty, floral, citrus, and animalic all represented. Michelyn’s convertible ride imagery made me grin, and Olya’s Aperol vibe made me want to try Never Ending Summer on a hot day. Overall excellent reviews.

  • fenoburris says:

That Riviera Drive bottle is gorgeous. I’m a big fan of rosemary notes, this sounds fantastic. This review perfectly captures the essence of the fragrance. I would love the chance to win this!

  • Therese Jamora-Garceau says:

Steven is one of the most intelligent and articulate fragrance reviewers out there, which is why I’m such a fan of his channel. We seem to have very similar tastes in fragrance as well, even if I’m a woman, so I take his recommendations seriously and this summer curation is no different. Thus far the only one I’ve sampled is La Mar, and it is indeed a stunning fragrance that I’ve already put on my wish list. I’m a fan of Aperol Spritz, so Olya’s review of Margiela’s Never Ending Summer has me incredibly intrigued. I would love to smell that cocktail in fragrance form! And Michelyn’s comparison of Riviera Drive to the film To Catch a Thief immediately transports me to the glamour of that French coast (love her comparison of the gold flakes to the Riviera’s golden sand). I’m sure Atelier des Ors’ fragrancw will be equally transportive. Thank you for the reviews and excellent curation, Steven, Michelyn and Olya! May you all have a beautifully fragrant summer!

  • I liked how Steven gave attention to texture of La Mar which sounded soft and creamy which I loved. Michelyn’s golden sur la plage and Olya’s cocktail reference made me want to go on holiday immediately.

  • I absolutely love the theme of Riviera. The bottles is stunning. The compositions of all top 5 sound very interesting but I think Riviera Drive is the one for me. I love lemon in fragrances for summers. Would be great to have this fragrance in my collection.

  • BloomyWinter says:

Steven’s video was so helpful especially since I live in the everglades where its hot and humid. His emphasis on how fragrances perform in heat is key. Michelyn and Olya’s descriptions brought the whole list full circle for me.

  • Oh my! All of these sound like amazing summer fragrances, and it’s truly hard to come up with one I’d prefer if it came down to it, they all sound amazing! Never Ending Summer especially sounds very intriguing.

  • MysticalArugula says:

Steven’s knowledge and passion are the perfect combo. His pick of La Mar really made me want to explore coconut forward scents. Michelyn gave Riviera Drive such a luxury feel, I really want to try it myself.

  • ScentNScent says:

Watching Steven talk about Fleuve Tendre made me realize I have never considered an animalic scent for summer, now I want to try it! I would love to smell the Riviera Drive, thanks for the draw.

  • From the written reviews Riviera Drive caught my attention the most. And that was confirmed by the video.

  • These are 5 fragrances that aren’t your typical summer reaches. They embody niche and enliven the inspirations behind them with quality. Steven explanation of how Pacific Rock Rose is much more than just a flanker to Pacific Rock moss. The floral components and the sea notes draw me to this fragrance. I love the notes of La Mar and coconut anything recommended by Steven I’m in. Last but not least Michelyn description of Riviera Drive the lemon and herbs with the wind off the coast. This would just transport me to a casual drive with every whiff with the sunroof open and windows down.

  • I am a big fan! The descriptions of the fragrances and the picturesque scenarios described are like no other. I’ve taken Steven’s advice on several purchases and haven’t been disappointed yet.

  • HueloBien says:

And just like that, summer is back.
In the brooding time of fall and winter, I always look forward for the warm season to wear fresh, clean, relaxing fragrances.

Steven’s description of Atelier Des Ors Riviera Drive, listening some music windows open and enjoying the weather…. I want that. So much needed.

As a side note, Atelier Des Ors bottles with the gold particles shimmering are stunning.

    From Massachusetts. Happy summer, everyone.

  • Paola Boeder says:

I have been so impressed with house of Bo that my next purchase might be El sireno I love La Mar, Oro Verde, Bon Bon, Ave Maria and my favorite Casa Blanca that maybe this year I will add to my house of Bo collection El Sireno and maybe Infinite Oud. Thank you so much for this amazing review of wonderful scents.

  • Barbara Bright says:

Love his description of La Mar as giving Tuberose + Coconut—two of my favorites!

  • I love hearing about all the different fragrances. It makes me want to smell them all.

  • I love the detailed descriptions. I can get a great idea of not only the scent but mood/feelings it might provoke. Love it!

  • I always find something new in Steven’s seasonal picks. He described La Mar in such an enchanting way. Olya’s playful cocktail notes totally sold Never Ending Summer to me.

  • carrie_earle says:

I loved all of Steven’s picks and now they are all on my to try list. I like that Olya compared Never Ending Summer to an aperol spritz. I also like that Michelyn shared the inspiration story of Riviera Drive. I live in the USA.

  • fragrancegorlie says:

The blue bottle is stunning. And although Never Ending Summer first caught my attention due to that zesty pop of a juicy orange, somehow I feel that Riviera Drive would be slightly more to my liking.

  • Citrus Paradise says:

Steven’s top five gave me fresh summer ideas beyond the typical lemon-forward scents. Loved hearing about the layers in La Mar. Michelyn and Olya’s reviews added a touch of elegance and playfulness, respectively. All these summer fragrances sound good to me.

  • LavenderJuliette says:

It seems citrusy notes are back. The article gave a very nice description of all the fragrances as well. Michelyn’s Riviera Drive write-up made me long for a Mediterranean vacation.

  • Steven has a way of describing perfumes like nobody else; he makes you want to try them. I got a lot of samples and full sizes because of him, and reading this article is just a written version, and if Rivera Drive will take me to Côte d’Azur with the sunny climate, I need this perfume.

  • Is Steven wearing the Amouage emblem as a broche in the video above? Talk about brand loyalty. It’s like pinning a sigil of scent nobility to your chest.

  • goldenswan says:

La Mar really caught my attention from Steven’s list. I’m always into a rich coconut or floral scent that still feels light enough for the heat. I like how Steven keeps his summer picks interesting, not just basic citrus.
Olya’s description of Never Ending Summer gave me a craving for an Aperol Spritz, I can imagine that zesty twist working in a scent. And Michelyn’s Riviera Drive write-up totally nailed that fresh coastal vibe. I’d love to try it. Thanks for the chance. USA

  • Steven’s reviews give these fragrances life! You know how they smell before smelling them! Texas

  • redchocolat says:

Steve’s presentation was top notch as always. It’s interesting to hear him describe the perfumes with such attention to detail. I feel like dashing off to a store to buy them all. It makes me feel that I will be as fragrant as he describes.

  • I’ve tried both La Mar by House of Bo and Never Ending Summer by MMR. All of the fragrances seem to share a brightness and subtleness that is perfect for the heat of summer. Atelier des Ors Riviera Drive has the brightness from the lemon and zingy herbs. The overall effect seems cooling for the season. MD, USA

  • Eris.can.swatch.kaos says:

What a fantastic list! I think my favorite might be the Atelier Des Ors. Though I haven’t yet gotten my nose on these fragrances, except for La Mar, just based on the notes and Steven’s description, the giveaway is something I would love to win and wear. I’m a Redolessence subscriber and follower of Cafleurebon on insta. I live in Oregon.

  • goknitintheocean says:

    Hi there,

Much love for Redolessence videos; I love to “stand apart”, especially in the summertime. Beach Walk by Replica has been a favorite in the past, but I think that Neverending Summer might be a terrific refresh for me. And Rock Flower has certainly been much-talked-about and all of the Goldfield and Banks offerings as of late have been so enticing! Fleuve Tendre by Liquides Imaginaires sounds crazy…In a good way, for me…I’m imagining it really bridging the gap between clean, crisp aquatics and those with a little bit of roar in them 😉

Thank you so much for this overview! I am in NYC/USA. Keep cool, you guys!

    Deborah

  • Kensolfactoryodyssey says:

Steven’s video was fantastic—his passion really shines, especially in how he described La Mar as natural and diffusive. I also loved Michelyn’s imagery of Riviera Drive—the 1950s convertible and golden sand vibe was so vivid. Olya’s take on Never Ending Summer made me crave a spritz of both perfume and Aperol! Great picks all around. I’m in the USA

From niche to middle eastern and everything in between. First, I love his enthusiasm and his honesty, I love his broad taste. Second, I love how consistent he is with his videos From PA,USA

  • Great mix of summer scents! I still need to smell never ending summer, MM Replica fragrances are so good and photorealistic. I love the descriptions of Riviera Drive, it has actually been on my want list for a while now. I’ve never smelled it but the bottle and the gold flakes are just beautiful! USA

  • Patricia Douglass says:

Steven’s video really stood out to me because his top five picks weren’t the usual lineup. Each choice felt intentional—not just “summer-safe,” but genuinely interesting in how they bloom and evolve in the heat. I especially loved seeing Fleuve Tendre included—animalic notes in summer? Bold move, but he made it make sense. His presentation, as always, was calm, thoughtful, and grounded—no fluff, just real perspective.

Michelyn’s write-up of Riviera Drive instantly transported me. I could almost feel that breeze off the Côte D’Azur, and the detail about the gold flakes being “gilded grains of sand” was such a beautiful touch. Olya’s take on Never Ending Summer was just as fun—connecting it to the Aperol Spritz trend gave the scent a flirty, laid-back vibe that totally captured the spirit of the season.

Following and registered—thank you so much for the chance to experience one of these beautiful scents for myself. This list definitely got me in the mood to switch up my summer wardrobe and my perfume tray.

  • What I loved about this list is the mixing of older scents like riviera drive with new scents like never ending summer, but they are all given respect. Steven always brings interesting facts about scents, and of course his note breakdown is wonderful. I also appreciate how he talks about notes he senses even if they aren’t in the official note break down. In maryland.

  • I have been following Steven for a long time and he’s always been given us the best reviews of the ultimate trends in perfumes. Always so accurate and realistic. I enjoy every video of him! In this occasion is for the best summer fragrance, and I need to say that I’m interested in all of them. I dunno but for me had been always hard to find the perfect summer scent. And when I see some new options to try I’m all in. I have been seeing a lot of La Mar by House of Bo, and all the compliments and reviews I’m seeing online need to be that is really good. Aquatic + Tuberose and coconut? For sure my next obsession for summer.
Also, Fleuve Tendre from Liquides Imaginaires is very intriguing. Just so curious about the animalistic notes in it.
From Atelier Des Ors, I loved Nuda Veritas and Lune Feline so I am completely sure that Riviera Drive will be a top fragrances. Really looking forward to try it. Thanks to Michelyn, for this review.
And who is not intrigued by Maison Margiela Replica- Never Ending Summer. Apparently a fragrance inspired by the refreshing bite of Aperol Spritz and the zesty pop of a juicy orange garnish. OMG this needs to be really good. Who do not love a good Aperol Spritz in the summer days. Also, Thanks to Olya Bar for the review.
But definitely the most that I looking forward to smell is Pacific Rock Flower from Goldfield & Banks. Steven in his channel have been saying in multiple occasions that this fragrance is super good and will be a trend in 2025 Summer. I am really excited for this Giveaway. Luck to everyone! From USA.

I’m pleasantly surprised by the co-curated Summer list by Michelyn, Steven and Olya.
Interestingly enough I know and own fragrances by all Goldfield and Banks – Pacific Rock Moss , Maison Margiela Replica – By the Fireplace , House of Bo – Bombón, Liquides Imaginaires – Desert Suave and Atelier des Ors – Kawa Karda Extrait and Lune Féline , yet I don’t know all 5 Summer recommendations.
Goldfield and Banks Pacific Rock Flower is a different take on Pacific Rock Moss blending the sea and florals.
MMR Never Ending Summer is vibrant fresh and zesty with Aperol nuances.
La Mar House of Bo not your typical coconut and tuberose fragrance
Fleuve Tendre mysterious and funky fresh fragrance
I am looking for a way to get to Côte D’Azur yes , fresh and adventurous citrus aromatic with a sense of exclusivity and class . Beautiful fragrance with a good looking bottle, I’ve always been a fan Atelier des Ors bottle design , splendid job once again.
Thank you Olya, Steven , Michelyn, Kintessence

  • I am struggling to find a perfect summer fragrance, but love the sound of these!
I’d love to try something picked by Steven. Rivera drive sounds delightful!

  • I’m not sure which one is for the giveaway, but they all sound great for summertime, which is my favourite time of the year. Maybe it’s because I was born in June. I love summer, and I never get enough of it to wear my favourite perfumes. I am definitely interested in winning this bottle. Thank you, with love from the USA.

It’s here! Summer. Some of us love the season; some of us count the days to October.

And some of us love both Summer and Fall 🙂
☆ Pacific Rock Flower Goldfield and Banks is a salty ocean fragrance with sandalwood and florals
☆ Never Ending Summer bittersweet Aperol aspects are quite appealing
☆ La Mar House of Bo natural floral bouquet with coconut
☆ Fleuve Tendre Liquides Imaginaires I’ll try out of curiosity , civet in the Summer?
☆ Riviera Drive Atelier des Ors feels exactly like a fragrance from a classical movie Bright, fresh drive in 50s convertible.
Lune Feline is fantastic cold weather vanilla fragrance i love , to me smells like Cinnamon and Cardamom Rolls, quite smoky too . Let’s see how Riviera Drive, the warm weather Atelier des Ors recommendation by Cafleurebon smells .
Appreciate all the reviews, and the giveaway campaign

  • Steven has been a longtime favorite of mine! I started as a quiet admirer, but his content has opened my eyes to so many amazing brands—from hidden gems to luxurious Middle Eastern finds and beyond. What really stands out is his genuine passion, unbiased reviews, and eclectic taste. And let’s not forget his incredible consistency—his uploads are always on point! In the video, I loved how he went in-depth with each fragrance and somehow narrowed it down to just five (we all know that’s no easy feat!). Summer scents are my weakness, so hearing his picks was an absolute delight. La Mar has been a staple in my collection for ages, and now I’m eager to test the others! While Never Ending Summer didn’t quite work for me, I completely understand Olya Bar’s take; it just didn’t mesh with my skin chemistry. On the other hand, I’m obsessed with citrusy, lemon-forward fragrances… GIVE ME ALL THE ZEST! I’ve had Atelier Des Ors on my wishlist forever, especially Blue Madeleine, but now Michelyn’s description of Riviera Drive has me completely sold—1950s convertible cruising vibes? COUNT ME IN! Thank you so much for this incredible opportunity; I’m absolutely thrilled! I’m in NY.

After the unbelievable, regularly melting the asphalt type of heat I’ve experienced while I was living in Spain ,the current temperatures where I live doesn’t bother me much . I love all seasons equally , and now It’s the best time for fragrances that have presence and bloom in warm weather.
Goldfield & Banks Pacific Rock Flower gets a lot of praises on Cafleurebon warm woodiness, salty ocean accord and florals.
Never Ending Summer Maison Margiela Replica smells very similar to a fragrance i already have.
Fleuve Tendre Liquides Imaginaires is …. animalic Summer fragrance?!? Usually civet is found in Winter fragrances, interesting fragrance with rose and mandarin orange.
Atelier des Ors is a brand I really like Rose Omeyyade , Lune Feline and Rouge Saray are all fantastic, and the idea of winning Riviera Drive is thrilling . All the pieces are there, Michelyn grabbed my attention right away with the “To Catch a Thief” inspiration and riding a 1950’s convertible references , and Steven with his invigorating zesty effervescence review. You can’t fo wrong with a fragrance by Marie Salamagne and Jean-Phillipe Clermont.
Rose Omeyyade is my favorite Atelier des Ors , beautiful fragrance i bought because of Despina Veneti Cafleurebon review, I still hope she’ll come back as a contributor at some point. Now I’m just as thrilled about Riviera Drive thanks to Michelyn, Steven and Olya
    Overly exciting giveaway, USA
    Regards

  • It’s always great to hear Steven’s Summertime Fragrance Picks. Interesting mix. Love florals happy to see a few made it to the list. USA

  • So funny that you mentioned Michelyn that Riviera Drive is in spired by To Catch a Thief as I was just talking with a friend about that movie the other day. I also really enjoy tuberose so I’m going to check out Steven’s recommendation of La Mar by House of Bo. And man if Fleuve Tendre Les Liquides Imaginaires is even remotely close in performance to megamare like Steven said then I will have to stay far away from it 😀

  • I love Steven’s description of Riviera Drive evoking a feeling of driving with the windows down, music playing, without a care in the world and free from obligations. And neat that Michelyn mentions that the fragrance is inspired by the movie “To Catch a Thief” — that driving scene with Grace Kelly’s scarf floating in the wind behind her! Perfection! I am in MA.

  • Fun list! I’ve been interested in trying Pacific Rock Flower since I first saw an advertisement for it, and Steven’s video review made me more interested. Fleuve Tendre is also very intriguing; usually animalic perfumes are to warm and heavy to be worn in the summer heat. And Côte D’Azur just sounds like a perfectly easygoing vacation wear—with or without that classic convertible. I had kind of written off the REPLCIA line, but in his video, Steven really sold Never Ending Summer. Also, I appreciated his detailed comments about Fleuve Tendre, which gave me a much better sense of how it smells. Cool bottle too.

I’m in the USA. Thanks for the giveaway!

So many good uplifting choices for summer. I love knowing this is in Michelyn’s top 5 for summer. I need to test Never Ending Summer after Olya compares it to a spritz. I am curious about the cold aromatics. I’d love to have this in my collection. Thanks for the chance. USA.

Usually all Summer long my mood is always lifted … on full mode 🙂 Awesome Summer picks by the way , I happen to know 4/5 , and as usual I’ll share my thoughts on the fragrances chosen by Michelyn, Steven and Olya , starting with the way Steven showed them in his video
Never Ending Summer by Maison Margiela Replica, easy to wear fresh fragrance, spicy and herbal as well . I agree with Olya about the sun-soaked days and the getaways, not so sure about the lively gatherings since at least on my skin it lasts for less than 2 hours.
La Mar by the House of Bo, composed by Rodrigo Flores-Roux i haven’t smelled, sensual bouquet with tuberose and coconut
Fleuve Tendre by Liquides Imaginaires , composed by Sonia Constant . I don’t quite understand why Steven said Fleuve Tendre and Megamare by Orto Parisi could be worn in the same occasions ?!? The two have completely different smell and target imo . To me the animalic aspects in Fleuve Tendre do come not from the civet which I barely get , but from the hefty doses of cumin.
Pacific Rock Flower by Goldfield and Banks, composed by Emilie Bouge technically is a flanker to Pacific Rock Moss but the two don’t have a lot in common…maybe just a little bit in in the base . I like how Michelyn said the fragrance blends sea air and florals .
Riviera Drive by Atelier des Ors, composed by Marie Salamagne is a classy fragrance , it is fresh and aromatic with woody in the base. No “wind in your hair” for me since I’m shaving my head in the morning lol , but I love the idea of riding a classic 1950’s convertible 🙂
I’ll be happy to win Riviera Drive since I’ve been Atelier des Ors fanboy from the very beginning, with currently 9 bottles in my collection .
All profiles I already follow, @waltherp99bg
    Thanks a lot

  • Summer is finally here full time and I’m loving it , just like i love the 5 unique and under the radar recommendations by the Cafleurebon team.
Goldfield & Banks Pacific Rock Flower is slaty and floral fragrance with the typical for the house locally sourced Australian ingredients.
Maison Margiela Replica Never Ending Summer zesty fragrance with Aperol and spices.
La Mar by House of Bo natural smelling floral fragrance with coconut Fleuve Tendre Liquides Imaginaires is daring warm weather offering, sensual and mysterious
I like fresh and adventurous citrus aromatic fragrances like Atelier des Ors Riviera Drive. I’m all for the bright lemon and the fresh herbs, good flakes and a trip to Côte D’Azur.
    Thanks for the draw

  • Steven’s reviews are always well descriptive and the way he draws comparisons helps to picture how the fragrance may smell. He definitely helps to gauge what I may be interested in or not, and keeps fresh suggestions.

Olya’s description of Never Ending Summer sounds great, ever since I visited Italy I’ve loved getting an aperol spritz every chance I get – it’s def a must try for me!

Would also love to try Riviera Drive, I’ve been in search of a fresh citrus fragrance blended with rosemary

  • Hello Summer
If it’s not too much of a hassle for you , please continue with double a d triple reviews, sometimes there are interesting differences between how different contributors feel about certain fragrances
MMR Never Ending Summer is refreshing easy to wear fragrance I need to try
Steven – > nothing about the Aperol
Olya -> refreshing bite of Aperol
The House of Bo Bombón i really like, La Mar is divisive floral fragrance
Liquides Imaginaires Fleuve Tendre is citrusy and animalic, not something I’d expect from a warm weather fragrance .
Like most, my first touch with Goldfield & Banks fragrances was with the famous Pacific Rock Moss , their most famous fragrance i believe. It’s fun and happy hot weather fragrance, but I have different expectations for Pacific Rock Flower since it leans more on the florals.
Steven – > creamy coconut fig thing and no woods
Michelyn -> no “creamy coconut fig thing” but warm woods instead
Atelier des Ors Riviera Drive sounds phenomenal – woody , fresh , herbal with patchouli … delish I really want to win it.
I’m a big fan of Marie Salamagne Bois Sikar and Pink Champagne , both i own and winning Riviera Drive would be a dream come true. Michelyn instantly transported me to the French Riviera riding in a classic 1950’s convertible . What can I say … a timeless moment of luxury and relaxation.
I’ll treat myself now with Aperol Spritz and thanks to Michelyn I’ll start planning our family trip to the French Riviera
Cheers and thank you for the opportunity

Thanks for the nice writeup Michelyn and video Steven.

I think out of all these fragrances, Fleuve Tendre by Liquides Imaginaires speaks to my tastes. The combination of citrus with an animalic touch is quite interesting.

    Cheers from WI, USA
