Today in the USA, it is Thanksgiving and we gather with family and friends,  from near and far to feast.  Immortelle perfumes evoke the holiday for us-  Immortelle flower aka everlasting flower (its botanical name is Helichrysum – named for the golden color of the sun) is grown on dry, rocky or sandy ground around the Mediterranean and is prized for its silvery leaves and bright yellow flowers. Immortelle is a shapeshifter and can smell like maple syrup, smoky tea, burnt sugar, a little salty, like fresh hay or golden tobacco depending on how the perfumer uses it and what other ingredients are in the composition. I asked Editor Sebastian Jara to take on our annual Thanksgiving post and he chose three immortelle  fragrances to wear into late Fall.

Etat Libre D’Orange Like This (2010) Mathilde Bijaoui:  How do you create a perfume for Thanksgiving Day…Like This. To me, this evokes traditional Thanksgiving desserts with its rich immortelle played against ginger and pumpkin. Originally created for Tilda Swinton, it is one of my favorites in the collection.

Atelier des Ors Musc Immortel (2017) Marie Salamagne: The least “foody” of the three, musk and iris bring out the haylike smoky quality of immortelle, with just a hint of caramelized amber. Gold flakes in the gorgeous flacon reinforce the golden florets of Immortelle.

Manos Gerakinis Immortelle (2017): Immortelle grows wild in Greece, which is the birth place of Manos Gerakinis and is thought to bring luck. Manos Gerankinis’ Immortelle with its burnt brown sugar and the cinnamon is noticeable right off the top.  It’s a delightful gourmand with a hint of vanilla and tobacco.

From our CaFleureBon family to you and yours, we are thankful dear readers, viewers and sponsors of our many draws. We love what we do and hope you know how much you mean to us;  we are grateful-Michelyn Camen, Editor-in-Chief

  • Happy Thanksgiving. Just getting ready for a wonderful dinner and giving thanks for family and friends. A thanksgiving choice would be Artelier des Ors Musc Immortel. USA

  • Happy thanksgiving. Immortelle is a great choice for this feast. Love its warm, and dry qualities and the way it combines with balsams and spices. Like this was a great choice by Sebastian but I am most interested in the Manis Gerakinis which I have never tried. I enjoy balsams and sugar notes and speculoos carries warm and festive memories for me.

  • Happy Thanksgiving! Manos Gerkankinis Musc Immortel had me at Cinnamon and Vanilla:) I love gourmandy fragrances and vanilla and cinnamon are my absolute favorite notes. Thank you and happy holidays from TACOMA WASHINGTON. I am thankful for life and all its gifts and lessons.. wishing the world happiness. Fragrances make happy:)

Great choices by Sebastian as usual. You know they’re good when you can’t choose which one you’d like to win! Ultimately though, the one that I choose is Manos Gerakinis Immortelle. I’m thankful for my family, friends, and having a job that I love! And for my favorite perfumes. I’m located in the USA.

  • I’m always being thankful, to wake up in the morning, healthy, have a bed to sleep, and mustn’t hungry and have my family. That’s all, simple.

  • Loved Sebastian review on this thanksgiving, defiently would love to
Smell that burning of Manos Gerkakinis Immortelle. USA

  • An intriguing description of Immortelle. I definitely get the warmish, almost toasty and syrupy facets, but I’ll have to look out for the more hayish qualities next time I get my nose it. I think I just made up a few words there. Anyway, I really like the sound of Musc Immortel’s smokier side and Immortelle’s gourmand-leaning notes. Especially that clove and cinnamon. Three perfect choices for Thanksgiving. Pour moi, I think I’d choose Immortelle. Or perhaps that’s just my stomach talking…hahaha. FOOD! Canada.

  • Smelling great fragrance is my most favorite fragrance channel. He always reviews new to me and interesting fragrances. I have purchase several fragrance with his recommendation and I have never been disappointed. I would love to win MG Immortelle. Ohio USA

  • Sebastian’s description had me decided right from the get go at “pumpkin, ginger, …”. So please count me in the draw for the “Like This”. Greetings and a happy Thanksgiving to you all from Germany.

P.S.: Rather simply I’m very thankful for my health! 🙂

  • I agree with Sebastian immortelle does smell like burned sugar and maple syrup and this is evident in immortelle fragrance. My choice is Atelier des Ors Musc Immortel. I am in US

  • Really great picks by Sebastian for Thanksgiving! My choice would be Etat Libre D’orange Like this, because of the presence of ginger and pumpkin note in this one!
    Latvia EU

  • I always love and learn from Sebastian’s videos. I likes that his 3 selections which all fit the Immortelle theme are all different from eachother. The only one I’ve tried is the Manos Gerakinis which is great! I would like to try the others as well. If I should win I would choose Manos Gerakinis Immortelle. In CT USA. I am thankful for my family, my girl, fragrance and the amazing people I have met through exploring this community. Thanks for the generous draw and Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!

  • Happy Thanksgiving!
I am thrilled with Sebastian’s review and I love that his descriptions of each fragrance seem to bring them up close and to my nose. Great details are the reason I watch his reviews frequently.
I have been enjoying Like This, I purchased it last year around this time. Glad to hear someone else has a love for it too. It can be over sprayed as he mentioned the sillage has gotten me a few compliments with co-workers too.
The flower immortelle is still displayed at L’Occitane (Garden City Shopping Mall) one of my favorite shops.
I live in Coventry, Rhode Island. Atelier des Ors Musc Immortel sounds beautiful. I have only tried one other scent from that line a sample given to me by a close friend.
I am so grateful for my husband and his recent health improvement news we received in October. He is my rock and my best friend.
Musc Immortel by Atelier des Ors would be my dream come true.
Thanking you folks for the opportunity to share my thoughts and a chance to win a bottle of perfume!

  • Rita Weltevreden says:

Sebastian’s description of immortelle as burned sugar is a good way of putting how immortelle comes through to me in perfumes, and I like it more than outright gourmand offerings.

I’m thankful to have a wonderful life partner of 21 years who makes me smile every day and restored my faith on the concept of ‘family’. Immortelle by Manos Gerakinis has a milk note that appeals to me, and I’m in the USA.

    Happy Thanksgiving, perfume lovers!

  • Atelier des Ors Musc Immortel is got be my favorite out of the three featured parfums. Sebastian as always amazing in describing what my mind thinks when I smell these fragrances, I am thankful that there are people out there who can articulate so well the feelings and emotions of a fragrance.

  • As always great job, Sebastian! Thank you!
I liked description of Manos Gerakinis Immortelle- resins, caramel and immortelle, but if I be lucky I would like to ein Atelier des Ors Musk Immortel.
I like immortelle in Histoires de Parfumes 1740.

  • Happy Thanksgiving! Sebastian’s choices are great. Atelier Des Ors Musc Immortel sounds nice with its iris note and fun gold flakes. I’m thankful for life itself. Mich USA

  • I enjoyed Sebastian passion for reviewing, he know how to break the scent piece by piece. And in doing so he gives the viewer an accurate picture of the scent.
Personally I’ll choose Atelier des Ors Musc Immortel.
    From USA.

  • Happy Thanksgiving everyone 🙂 I love how Sebastian describes notes which makes it a little easier for a possible blind buy as it is not always possible to sample fragrances (like immortelle smelling like caramelized sugar). I’d choose Manos Gerakinis Immortelle. I’m in USA

  • Joyce Wilburn says:

I love watching Sebastian’s reviews I’ve never owned the higher end of perfumes it would be great to win I think I would prefer the musc immortal etat because I love musk:)) good luck to all who enter★

  • Maxime Rajotte says:

I really enjoy the fact that he reviewed 3 differents variant of the immortelle flower (crowd pleaser, Musc and gourmand). I’d pick up the Atelier des Ors Musc Immortel though. I leave in Canada 🙂

  • Maryanne Fortin says:

I enjoy discovering new gourmand fragrances… I am new to gourmands. I would choose the last one Manos Gerakinis. And I am grateful for my loved ones health and that we are together as a family.

  • I like that he found two immortelle choices that are gourmand. I’ve tried the ELDO one and don’t love it. I would have to choose Atelier des Ors for its haylike quality, but I would gladly sniff Manos Gerakinis since I never heard of this Greek house! I’m in USA.

  • I’m thankful for the rain this Thanksgiving! So rare here in So California! I’d love to try the Immortelle (2017) from Greece. Happy Thanksgiving.

  • I’m a fan of gourmand fragrances, so when Sebastian said burnt, caramelized sugar, cinnamon and vanilla, I knew my choice would have to be the Manos Gerakinis Immortelle. I’m thankful for so many things, too numerous to mention here! I’m grateful for the opportunity to try this magnificent fragrance by Manos Gerakinis. Happy Thanksgiving! Lisa

  • Khalil Nasir says:

Manos Gerakinis Immortelle, I am thankful for my health with so many people having strokes and such it’s a blessing to be above ground. I really enjoyed how he explained what was the Immortelle flower and how it incorporated into different fragrances. I live in Durham, NC

  • Great review as always Sebastian. I’m not a gourmand fan so I would definitely choose the Atelier des Ors. I’m thankful for my good health and loved ones. I’m in the US.

  • I enjoyed Sebastian’s review of these immortelle fragrances. I love that it was a theme to this video, like Sebastian I fell in love with ELDO Like This! I have a sample of that fragrance and I would love to win a bottle of Like This! Happy Thanksgiving! I live in the USA.

  • Cody Nottingham says:

I enjoyed the new information on immortelle (a plant and ingredient I had no idea about.) This Thanksgiving I had actually been thinking about purchasing a Thanksgiving gourmandish scent and so with that being said, I would ask to receive the Manos Gerakinis 60 ml if I win. Definitely thankful for Sebastian; really love that guy. ❤ I’ll also be super grateful if I win this giveaway

  • Anthony Cedeno says:

Hello my name is Anthony cedeno and I am from Oakley, California. I really liked all the choices Sebastian chose, but the ones that intrigued me the most were Etat libre D’orange Like This and Manos Gerakinis Immortelle. I’ve never smelled Pumpkin or Immortelle In a Fragrance but it definitley sounds up my alley since I love the sweet and gourmand cozy fragrances. If I win, I would love to get the Etat Libre D’Orange Like This. The house Etat Libre D’orange makes very unique fragrances, and some of them are very daring and I respect that, and I enjoy smelling them and would love to own that one!

  • Enjoyed Sebastian’s review of the 3 fragrances, especially the fact that, as it would seem, “immortelle” is very diverse in its odor profile, as can be seen in his 3 choices. Since I lean towards spicy fragrances, and am a lover of ginger, I would love, love, love a bottle of Etat Libre D’Orange Like This. I live in Waldorf, Maryland, USA

  • Immortal flowers can smell in perfume such as caramel and maple syrup. I will pay attention to this detail. Thanks, I am from EU, I prefer Manis Gerakinis

  • Thanks for introducing me to the Immortelle flower, which is a note I have not smelled before. Love the description of Manos Gerakinis Immortelle as having a burnt cookie butter smell. I’m thankful for the great informative videos which are always helpful when making fragrance purchases!! I live in Sonoma County California

  • I loved how Sebastiane gave equal attention to all three scents , something that can often not happen when reviewing more than one thing at a time.
So it was really great to see care taken with each scent.

I’d choose the atelier des ors musc immortal.

    Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

    From Ireland / EU.

  • Happy Thanksgiving! I’m most interested in Manos Gerakinis Immortelle, that one sounds so amazing and it is not possible to try it in my country. I live in Latvia, EU. Thank You!

Thank you, as always, for the opportunity!! Today was filled with thanks for the lovely people in my life, the life lessons learned this year, and for a table full of delicious food made with love.

  • I felt an overwhelming toasty feeling come over me as Sebastian described these scents that are perfectly suited for the Thanksgiving holiday and into the year beyond. I am most interested in Atelier des Ors Musc Immoretel.I am thankful for health and happy family during this festive time of year.(USA)

  • Hi, happy thanksgiving:)I like the cozy atmosphere of his videos. My choice would be The Atelier des Ors. I live in the USA.

  • Happy thanksgiving to everybody in the US. I would like to win Musc Immortele from Atelier des Ors. Thanks for the draw, i’m in the EU.

  • I am intrigued by musc immortel because it is the least foody. Happy Thanks Thankgiving from the UK

  • Marie Salamagne: The least “foody” of the three, musk and iris bring out the haylike smoky quality of immortelle, with just a hint of caramelized amber. Gold flakes in the gorgeous flacon reinforce the golden florets of Immortelle a beautiful description. I would have to choose musk immortelle. Happy Thanksgiving from UK Cheers

  • I became interested in this note after Sebastian presented it so beautifully on his channel, yet I still didn’t have the chance to smell it properly yet. Unless the l’Occitane face products count, but…is that really immortelle there or is it an additional scent?
Anyway. regarding these three, I was intrigued by all and the different facets of immortelle they promise to present. But if I had to choose one, it would be Atelier des Ors Musc immortel, because it’s the most natural, dry and fragrant autumn before it gets cold and wintery scent, as Sebastian presented it. I like perfumes that lean natural and even though i enjoy gourmands as well, this natural hay/forest/immortelle scent would be the best for me.
I am grateful for a loooot of things! For a great and understanding family, great teachers, being commissioned for a lot of work lately, some things clicking in my schedule in just the right way, and last but not least, for the lovely fragrant communities / sources out there, from Cafleurebon, to our little Romanian comunity led by wonderful Dana Sandu. These are all things that put a smile to my face and make me pray for their own well being too. So, thank you! From the EU.

  • Steliyan Syarov says:

Happy Thanksgiving! Great review. At first impression Etat Libre D’Orange sounded the most interessting to me, but then I saw it’s listed as a fragrance for woman and I’m scared that a man might not pulled it off. That’s why I changed my choice to Atelier des Ors.
    Thank you for the giveaway!
    Greetings from Austria!

  • I enjoyed how hungry Sebastian’s choices made me! Ahahah. I ways love how he breaks down the fragrances and really paints the picture of what the scent is. Now that I have some food in me I have to say I would really love to try Atelier des Ors Musc Immortel (I’m a smoky type o’gal!)
    Thank you!
    Ana from Porto, Portugal

  • I am thankful that I have the opportunity to enjoy such a luxurious artform. I think Sebastian’s choices offer a variety of different representations of immortelle. I would choose Musc Immortel if chosen for this draw. I live in Europe. Thank you!

  • Immortelle is a note I’ve been loving lately. I love that burnt sugar smell of it. Although the other 2 perfumes sound lovely, I choose Artelier des Ors Musc Immortel. I think my collection misses a dry, hayish perfume and Sebastian’s review got me intrigued. I live in Romania, EU

  • Shannon Ikerd says:

I love that he found a few different styles of the same note. And, I really appreciate that he took a minute out of the video to explain what immortelle smells like.

  • Shannon Ikerd says:

I love that he found a few different styles of the same note. And, I really appreciate that he took a minute out of the video to explain what immortelle smells like. I would choose Atelier des Ors Musc Immortel of the three scents. But, they all sounds lovely.

  • I have bought recently Musc Ravageur after it was on my wishlist for a long time and of course what I enjoyed most was the review for Atelier des Ors Musc Immortel (2017). I am a fan of musk in perfumery and the description if how immoortel is blended with the other notes made me curious to try it.

The perfumes selected for the review are new to me and the immortel note made me curious since I do not believe I tried it before.

    I live in EU.

  • What a beautiful American tradition, spending time with loved ones is the “true essence of life”, the festivities are always a beautiful moment of meeting. I thank for being happy with the little things of every day, it’s true, I’m not young anymore, but at least more wise. My favorite is Manos Gerakinis
    Linda, EU

  • Stefan Cretu says:

I love how Sebastian is disecting every perfume into small pieces yet has the ability to describe them as a whole. I’d love the Atelier des Ors…

  • I like that not only was immortalle the main note in the fragrance, it was also highlighted in a different manner across all three compositions. My choice would be Atelier des Ors : Musc Immortel. Based in Canada.

  • SergioRATeixeira says:

Great job and very complete take on the note of immortelle. In Portugal as in Greece immortelle grows wild and it can be seen and smelled near the beaches in Lisbon, my home town, so Sebastian review made me recall my days as a teenager beach bum. I get a lot of curry like vibes from it. If I’d be so lucky to win I would choose Atelier Des Ors Musc Immortel for sure. I’m thankful for being alive and for my family. Lisboa, Portugal.

  • Andrei-Cristian Radescu says:

Happy Thanksgiving! I totally love Sebastian’s way of reviewing and how he asociates fragrances with certain occasions. I would like Manos Gerakinis and I live in Romania, EU. Thank you!

  • I think it’s cool that a Thanksgiving trio was presented. Sebastian has a way with Greek names. I’d like to try the easiest of the three -Like This. I’m a bit afraid of super sweet after a $$$ blind buy. I live in the USA.

  • I like the immortelle note a lot. I’d be joyful receiving anyone of the three fragrance choices. I choose though the Atelier des Ors Musc Immortel for this draw. US

  • Immortelle has become my favorite note! It can be such a changling. I own Like This but the others are new to me. They all sound delicious and great for the holidays! The Manos Gerkinis is catching my attention. Thank you for the Thanksgiving offereing and all the great reviews here!
    Resident of US

  • Sebastian is always warm and honest when reviewing fragrances. It almost feels as he was in your living room, describing fragrances.

Although where I am Thanksgiving is not celebrated, I am for sure thankful for the health of my close ones and parfume-wise, for my beloved Meo Fusciuni – Luce

From the three perfumes mentioned above, my favorite (and my choice) is Aterlier des Ors – Muc and Immortel.

    Happy thanksgiving from The Netherlands

  • ThatMulattoDude says:

Didn’t really know much about Immortelle but enjoyed discovering the flower scent profile from Sebastian. I’d like to try the Manos Gerakinis version if I were to win. Thanks for the opportunity.

I’m thankful for my sense of smell! Immortelle, these little sweeties are related to sunflowers, Helichrysum italicum ‘golden sun of Italy’. Completely intrigued and tempted by the review for Manos Gerkakinis Immortelle. You had me at Cinnamon and sugar, reminds be of cinnamon brown sugar toast, a childhood home time favorite. Canada.

  • I enjoy immortelle with its haiy facet and I love iris as well, so I am eager to try Musc Immortelle. I am thankful that Sebastian reviewed this in his video and compared it to 2 other immortelle fragrances at this time of year. I live in the USA.

  • I enjoy the focus on a little-examined ingredient. I’d go for Musc Imortel, I’ll roll the dice on an Atelier des Ors I haven’t tried 🙂 I’m in Dublin, Ireland.

  • Love Sebastian’s reviews, always very informative, which is great for a beginner like myself. All three sounded very nice, but for purposes of the giveaway, I would choose Manos Gerakinis Immortelle. I live in California (USA). • Quentin Mathieu says:

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone (a bit late 🙂 ). Actually, I live in Europe (Belgium) and never had the chance to celebrate Thanksgiving, but I would love it! Excellent review by Sebastian, as usual. I have no idea what immortelle smells like, but I’m glad that Sebastian went into the details. It’s sort of hard to imagine to a flower with a toasted bread scent.

I really liked the sound of Musc Immortel and Etat Libre D’Orange Like This (in that order)

    Love from Madison, WI, USA

  • I really enjoyed Sebastian’s video because I knew nothing about this flower, and it was so interesting to learn about how it can be used in so many different ways in fragrance, and how it can create different notes and accords. I live in San Francisco, and my favorite based on the video would be Manos Gerankinis Immortelle, because I love gourmans during the holidays. Happy Thanksgiving to all!

  • I immensely enjoy learning about plants, spices and herbs that are new to me – and the bits about immortelle flower were fascinating. I am thankful for my family and my pets.
I would like to win Etat Libre D’Orange Like This.
    Greetings from Finland, EU.

  • Great review from Sebastian as always. I love how Sebastian describes notes and my choice is Manos Gerakins. Thanks. From EU.

  • Great review from Sebastian as always. I love how Sebastian describes notes and my choice is Manos Gerakinis. Thanks. From EU.

  • I enjoyed your review, since I learned something new about immortel flowers (I think this little plant deserves more credit!). If I win, I would choose Manos Gerakinis Immortelle, because I have never tried his fragrances yet! Thank you!

  • I never realized immortelle had a smoky honey maple syrup scent to it. Sounds like a great fall note to me. Sabastian really laid out a case to express more love for this obscure note for the season. I would love to try one of these. If I had my choice it would be:
Atelier Musc Immortel. if take I would love to try the Manos.

From USA, thanks for the draw

  • Oh boy, does Manos Gerakinis – Immortelle sound yummy!!! I love gourmand scents that use a lot of spices. And that blend of Brown Sugar, Cinnamon, and Cloves is awesome!
    I live in the US.

  • Happy Thanksgiving to all Cafleurebon readers.
Like This by Etat Libre d’Orange is extremely underrated fragrance that always makes me happy .
Since I already own it, my pick is Musc Immortel by Atelier des Ors.
I’m thankful for being able to overcome all the difficulties life brought to me, and I’m waiting 2020 with a smile on my face.
    Top opportunity, thanks.

  • All three fragrances are really appealing to me. Hard to pick one. I’ll go with Musc Immortel . Immortel with iris, and musk. Sign me up.
I don’t know it , but expectations are really high because of Rose Omeyyade , my favorite Atelier des Ors fragrance, and birthday gift I received from my sister 2 years ago. Fantastic house .
Thanks a lot , and happy Thanksgiving to all of you.
Personally I’m thankful for the support I get from my girlfriend, and my family.

  • When i was young, my grandma was growing lots of pumpkins, and i’m so used to pumpkin pies , cakes , soups , cheesecakes and so on.I was looking for fragrances with pumpkin accord and then blind-bought Tilda Swinton Like This , and i love it . Sorry , i was not aware Etat Libre d’Orange changed the name a little bit, to just “Like This”. 2 years ago there was a rumor that Like This is discontinued, and I stocked up. I still have two and a half bottles left 🙂
Smoky caramely hey , with iris similar to the Iris in Iris Fauve? Just made up my mind . Musk Immortel i would like to win.
Thank you for the giveaway , and it could be late, but Happy Thanksgiving to all of you , somehow connected to Cafleurebon.

  • I liked Sebastian’s description of the complexity of the immortelle note and the way he presented three ways in which it can be used. I would choose the Manos Gerakinis IMMORTELLE. I live in the US, in North Carolina. I am thankful for being alive, for having a great family, for good health, for having had a good career, for having enough money to retire comfortably and occasionally buy a bottle of eau de toilette.

  • I am thankful for friends and family. I own a few foody immortlle frags. I would love the opportunity to smell the more smoky/hay facets the Musc Immortelle has! I am in Canada.

  • Haven’t tried any of these but Immortelle by Manos. Cookie butter gourmand sounds nice. Thanks for the draw, Ca

My choice if I’m the winner.

I find Sebastian’s description of Atelier das Ors immortelle the most alluring. I live in US.

  • Honestly I was wondering for 20 minutes what to choose , and at the end Musk Immortel Is my pick.
Because of toasted bread and caramel comparison, with iris and clean Musk I imagined me sitting in the middle of iris field, and eating caramel French toast .
And Sebastian, you don’t nececerly have to get fatter on Thanksgiving haha …. coming from the Pastry Chef in the house .

Very sweet video and giveaway for Thanksgiving, Sebastian! I enjoyed hearing about the Immortel flower growing near the Mediterranean giving off a burnt sugar smell that I can’t really imagine but hope I have the chance to =]. I appreciate your adventurousness with fragrance. I would choose the Musc Immortel as it is an interesting combination of notes that I often like.
I am grateful that I was given the chance to move abroad this year and take a break from work. What a treat! I am stateside for 5 weeks in CT with family and friends. An awesome part of the experience is the smells of new places both environmental and the local fragrance selection.

  • Great review by Sebastian and I loved the 3 fragrances featured for Thanksgiving! I enjoyed Sebastian’s information on the Immortelle flower and it’s warm and dry qualities. I am grateful for my family and 47 years of life. My choice would be the Musc Immortel by Atelier des Ors. Thanks for the giveaway and I live in the US!

Sebastian, great Thanksgiving fragrance selections. I would pick Manos Gerakinis Immortelle it sounds like an amazing gourmand fragrance with notes of brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, and tobacco. I also appreciate the unique qualities of Etat Libre D’Orange Like This with pumpkin and cinnamon and would love to try it as well. I am thankful for family and friends. I am from the USA.

  • Musc Immortel suits me the most based on what Sebastian wrote, because the least “foody”.

To me Atelier Des Ors equals class , beauty and creativity , but most importantly equals Rose Omeyyade . If i have to describe it with one word it will be phenomenal. Not only it smells gorgeous , but gets me huge amount of compliments. I do not wear fragrances just for compliments , but it’s nice to be noticed .
All three Immortel gems i’m not familiar with , and should smell equally good according to Sebastian reviews. My choice is Musk Immortel. I feel like i’ll be able to wear it in the spring and autumn too , and the other two are more of a winter scents , plus i’m iris fan.
I’m thankful for all the love I received in 2019
Thanks to Sebastian , and of course thanks to Atelier Der Ors , Etat Libre d’Orange and Manos Gerakinis for the generosity , and happy Thanksgiving.

  • Did he said warm caramelised and toasted aroma , with rich musks and iris?
An addictive, intensely heartfelt , yet refined fragrance I’m thinking at the moment.
Musc Immortel will make me feel super sexy and elegant .
    I’m so excited. Happy Thanksgiving.

I like immortelle notes, and love Annick Goutal Sables for fall, so I was very curious to learn about more immortelle fragrances! The toasted, lightly sweet hay aspect of Musc Immortel combined with the ambrette and iris sound very appealing to me, but hearing that the caramelized/burnt sugar and the resins of the Manos Gerakinis are reminiscent of speculoos cookies was the turning point for me. I would definitely choose the Manos Gerakinis if I win. Thanks for the chance! I am in the US 🙂

  • I loved Sebastian’s review and his choices. His passion and sincerity makes it worthwhile watching his reviews. I’ll choose the Atelier des Ors musc Immortel.

I have said it before and I have to say it again… Sebastian and I have very similar tastes when it comes to fragrances! I own and love 2 out of 3 of these immortelle scents! I bought Like This almost 9 years ago… not long after it came out, and I am still in love to this day! It is such a beautiful fragrance and one of my all time fall favorite fragrances ever! I just recently acquired Manos Gerakinis Immortelle a month or so ago from Nir at Perfumology. I had a sample thrown in with and order and I knew at first sniff, it had to be mine. I ordered it within a couple of days of sniffing it! I know my choice would have to be the Atelier des Ors Musc Immortel! I have to (either way) get my hands on the third favorite immortelle fragrance from Sebastian! Thank you Sebastian for the fantastic reviews on these beauties and for reassuring my own nose! Thanks for also adding another one to the list! Thank you Michelyn for putting this together and a huge thanks goes out to Manos Gerakinis, Etat Libre D’Orange, and Atelier des Ors for your stunning works of art and very gracious generosity! I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and enjoys the rest of their day! I live in Delaware, US. Good luck to all!

  • Each of these scents seems so different. I love that there is something for everyone here. Personally, I love gourmands, but I have been branching out more lately. I like the dry aspect with iris in Atelier des Ors Musc Immortel, so if I won, I would choose the Atelier des Ors.

I’m thankful for the fragrance community. I have met so many kind and generous people through fragrance forums. It warms my heart!
Happy Thanksgiving and thanks for the draw!
    I’m in Canada.

  • Great presentation, I feel like I’ve gotten as close to perceiving any of them without actually having one near me. As for which one I like the best, I’d choose Atelier des Ors: Muse Immortel. I live in Europe, Croatia. Thanks for the review.
