I have known Maria McElroy for five years. She is the embodiment of the duality within a woman.  Incredibly chic ,  Incredibly stylish and chic, and has been known to ride shotgun on a motor cycle. Immersed in the culture of New York City, yet deeply spiritual, a student of  the rich history and philosophy of Japan.
 

Before there was a term called niche, in the 1990s, her beautiful fragrances were sold in Bergdorf Goodman. As Luckyscent's publicist I discovered O-cha   EdP and thus began our fragrant friendship. As the New in Niche columnist for Basenotes  I was one of the first to review her Geisha Blanche EdP.
